Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to another episode of Tell You What? How's everybody doing?

Speaker 2 (00:04):
I feel kind of lousy.

Speaker 1 (00:07):
I should warn you. I should warn you, dubs. She
had she had Mexican last night for her mom's birthday party.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
And it just has me. I normally love eating out
of this restaurant, but I don't know, ever since I
got pregnant. I don't know if it's the I'm so
glad I can talk about this. I don't know if
it's like the oils that they're using. It just like
makes me feel overall general malaise.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
What's changed, lousy? I mean you've noticed that. Yeah, we
talked yesterday. You know, Well you opened it up yesterday
about your emotions are a little stronger, like with Hawthorne.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Well, I just had like that one episode. I have
been fine since then.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Well, I'm just trying to be nice. Yeah, I don't
know how to. I don't know because there's an audience
out there and they don't hear every conversation that we have.
But yesterday we had a very open conversation. How you
were very emotional in the truck went over the weekend
and you were crying what you said basically over nothing.
And then it led to more crying over nothing, and
then you were crying because you were crying on his shirt.

(01:10):
You were crying because you could have gotten some makeup
on his shirt, and you you were crying over over that. Yes,
So what I guess what I'm saying is is what
are the other observations? The food stuff big time? I
see that in here. I mean I love it. It's like,
you know, Steph and I were, I guess we're done
having kids. I mean we thought we were having one about

(01:31):
a year and a half ago. That would have been
quite the shocker. Well there's you know, there's there's a
little little scare there. If you call it that, I
called it an opportunity. But then there's you You've gone
through this food chain here and there's some foods that
you can eat, some foods that you can eat. Yeah,
you have to eat a lot. I mean you got
to kind of keep grazing, not a lot, but you

(01:52):
got to kind of keep grazing throughout the morning, showing
yeah or else you're not going to feel good. You
haven't been sick physically, but you've just felt you know,
the the last Yeah, you've been feeling pretty blust so
what else, what else is happening in this in this journey? Well,
my skin restaurant you learned yesterday, You're not.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
Yeah, I think I've done with like it might be
done with like Mexican food except Chapoti I really really like,
but like this at least there's one particular sitdown restaurant.
I don't know what it is. Normally I love it there,
but it's like they're but they brought out the food
yesterday and I was like, it just kind of looked
really oily to me. And I'm sure it looked the
same as normally does. I got what I always get,
and it's normally fine. But I eat there and I

(02:31):
feel so bloated and I'm terrified today, not really terrified,
but I have an appointment today, like a doctor appointment,
and I'm like, oh, I'm going to weigh in so
much heavier because I'm so bloated right now.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
All you, isn't this the time where you can go
step on a scale and feel a little victory.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
No, because see, because I.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Mean, it all goes towards the health of your baby.
I my goddaughter just had a baby two weeks ago.
She was pencil thin, eighty five pounds she had the child.
I think when she had the child, she got up
two hundred and nine. That was supposed to happen. I mean,
there's probably put on more weight, but she was just

(03:09):
she's very small, She's very petite, and so her gaining
weight is a good thing, I would think. I mean,
this is a time where you go get I wouldn't
care just the health of the baby. I mean, I
know you don't want to hit the button, but.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Yeah, right, I think for me, it's like I still
want to be healthy about it, and and I think
it healthy looks different for everybody, and for me, that
looks like trying to not totally go wild. Like my
mom she gained seventy pounds with me, but every single
day she ate a peanut buster parfe from Dairy Queen.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Yeaoundaries right, That's kind of what I'm talking about though.
That's what I would do. I know is if I'm
a dude, and as far as I know, I can't
have a child. I know those others that say I can,
I'm telling you I can't. And I think you too
would agree. And it's not a political statement. I just
know where was it going to what's gonna happen here

(04:00):
where we're gonna pull it out?

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (04:02):
Right, And and I would do the peanut butter peanut
buster parfe route if I'm with your mom on that,
or at least maybe every other day, every every day.
And I know that you don't want to do that.
But when you go and you get on the scale,
I mean, I'm just trying to tell you. I can't
man explaining pregnancy because I'm a man. But it's like, yeah,
you go in, that's the time, but you should be

(04:24):
getting you should be getting away. You don't want to
be going the other way. I mean, wouldn't you be worse,
way more concerned. I'm not saying that you got to be,
like I said, the peanut buster parfes everything. Yeah, enjoy
your pregnancy a little bit here too. You know there's
a chance you could eat.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
Yeah. The other thing on top of that, though, is
like I don't know that I have the appetite to
be able to do that. It's been interesting. I'm not
like I haven't been one of those, even though I
know it probably seems like because you guys see me
eat a lot, but I do kind of graze throughout
the day, but in the mornings I eat the most,
and then I like really kind of slow down and
just do small snacks later. So I just think that

(04:58):
I don't really have that, but I to like support
getting that many calories in me. I don't think, and
I generally am. I've always been drawn more towards like
eating a lot of vegetables, eating lighter proteins, and that's
when I feel the best, and so eating heavier yesterday,
I just feel.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
So long the time did you eat?

Speaker 2 (05:16):
It was late to No, it was late because my
parents could never do anything seven or eight, god, I know,
and you get three, Well I couldn't and then they
can't fall asleep. Yeah, it is useful, I feel to hear.
And so it was, dude, I can't do that.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
We go from Friday nights and sometimes we go too late. Yeah,
by the way, not it's not back to that's just
the culinary delights, the delights that.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
We picked normally. I love it.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Yeah, it's just Friday nights. Mexican. We go to great
Mexican restaurant in town Rodeo. We love it, and uh
we eat there and and but if we go too late,
I mean go anywhere too late. It's awful, especially for
your train to get up at three in the morning.
It's like that.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
That's just And I've had this this steady routine of
birthdays recently because it goes my sister's birthday, and then
six days later it's my birthday, and then six days
after that it's my mom's birthday. And so my parents
can never do anything before like seven pm because they're
so busy and so like yesterday, we didn't even order
our food until seven thirty pm, and it's killing me.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
I think it probably come out to like what eight almost.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
Yeah, after eight, for sure, they do make it pretty fast.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
Oh, but I thought he meant come out.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
Oh, I know, he meant like out of the kitchen.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
We're waiting for that.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
Yeah, And so I'm just like, then, I can't fall
asleep if I eat too late, if I eat past
like I sound so whiny, I'm so sorry. But if
I eat past like seven o'clock, I can't fall asleep.
It's awful.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
You're not whiny. I'm kind of whiney, yeah, a little bit.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
Yeah, I know what I am.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
Yeah, but it's all for the greater good. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
Yeah, it feels therapeutic. So at least I have you
guys to complain too.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
Absolutely, I think, I mean, can you imagine me, Oh
my gosh, the whining that would happen if I'm right
there with you, you know what I mean, There's no way
I couldn't handle that.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
I think you guys gotta give yourselves more credit. No, no,
definitely not.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
Lauren would be like I would be in the er
and be like, something's wrong my wife. Her pain tolerance
is amazing when it comet like that whole thing. Yea.
I remember sitting there and she gave me quite the
look as she was pushing. She was pushing contractions, all
that stuff, pushing, and I'm like, I'm throwing out the
words you know, I love you and all this stuff,

(07:38):
and she was bending my finger backwards and I tried
not to. I mean, it was really hurting, really bad.
I gotta tell you, Like I thought I was gonna
go down to er for a broken finger. She was
really and you know, really wrenching on it. And I
just remember looking at her and I'm like, you are
like a champion. I'm like you were born to do this.
And then everything stopped and she just looked at me
like I was, what, maybe not that I, but you was.

(08:06):
I was like, man, you're made for making babies, cranking
them out. Baby number two, let's go.

Speaker 2 (08:13):
Had just swiveled.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
It's just the whole room stopped.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
And she's like, there's got to be like a list
of things you should not say when your wife is
in labor.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
Anything. And by the way, you could uh chew gum
and have life savers in your mouth, that doesn't matter.
Every single everything, single sense is on high alert, especially
that particular you're breathing stopping, You're alive, stop it? Oh no,

(08:48):
well we'll get you through it. Yes, help, You're a champion.
You're made to do this. I mean, I had the
Rocky theme in my head and it's just the Rocky
theme does die? And I was like, ease and what.
