(00:00):
Special guest in this episode, though, tell you what. She's been hanging
out in here for like the halflast one half an hour. So I'm
like, let's just throw on thepodcast, ladies and gentlemen. Martie Gellner,
Yo, thank you. You know, the only bigger country music fans
in the building are the three ofyou right here, So thanks for I
don't even know if that's true.I think Martie because Martie's going going to

(00:24):
Tanny Tuck. Yeah, that's howthat's sound deep. It runs for me.
That's my wheelhouse, like not Ladies, nineties country, Sarah Evans,
my all time favorite, like TannyTucker, Jody Messina, Terry Clark.
Oh yeah, that is my wheelhouse. Terry Clark showed me how to keep
beers or get beers cold really fast. Yeah, how did we talk about?

(00:46):
Yeah? Well you and I.Yeah, you've told me you're you're
Terry Clark stories and you're Tanny andTucker Stories. Yes, legendary wit tell
me the beer story or how doyou keep it cool? Well? She
also showed me how to take yourbra off. She's the one who taught
you without it was. I needTerry back here because she actually she would
join my show from time to timeback in the day, and we would

(01:08):
talk about things. But we're ata bus and she was She's like,
here's how you here's a fast wayof taking a bra off, and then
she took her own off, tookher own bra off, yeah, on
the bus. And then she showedme how to roll beers in a cooler
to get them cold fast. Soa hot beer that's been sitting out,
like on the porch or something, you put it in, you roll it

(01:30):
for about four or five minutes tolike your hand goes numb, but then
your beer is fairly cold. Imean, think of the practical uh huh
lessons that Terry Clark taught you.Thank you well. All the stuff on
buses too. It's the buses thatthat they learn all this stuff. It's
the road where you learn. Everythingis the road. So you like the
ladies of the nineties, eighties, you probably love the juds, right.

(01:52):
Yeah. I was in the Winonafan club. Yeah, yess ye got
a T shirt and I knew theletter that would come out like every three
months. I think because we didn'thave like the internet, kind of meant
like eighties, seven years old.But yeah, being part of the fan
club meant you had that kind ofaccess and like, this is what's been

(02:15):
going on with your favorite singer. How many times you meet her? Zero?
You never met one on? No? Huh no, never Evans,
like four or five times. I'min her fan club too, there's the
only two I've ever been in.So were you rooting her on for Dancing
with the Stars obviously? Was atyour quick exit? Yeah? Well that
was the whole husband thing. Sheand Craig. I had dinner with them

(02:38):
not long before that. I'm notkidding you down in Nextville. I know,
I'm totally name dropping, but Ihad dinner with she and Craig and
they were the couple. They wereinseparable and politically they're totally aligned everything,
and they were just a ball. And then I find out it was probably
two years later. It's like allof that happened, and I'm like,
oh my god, that's discussed. It got ugly. Yeah, it was.

(03:00):
I don't like talking yea from that? Yeah? Who else do you
like? Marnie Gellner from the Right. I love Shanaya, I love Miranda
Lambert. I just saw her atthe Velvet Rope Residency. Uh, yeah,
I went to one of her shows. I am yeah, are you
going for the whole whole deal withI have? I have a links game

(03:23):
that I'm working, so I amfree the Miranda Lambert night and I'm going
yeah, um, who what's up? Who are you bringing? My friend
Gina. She's a guynecologist. Wecall her Virgina. Oh yeah, so
she's my music. She's going toTanny Tucker with I love it. Yeah.

(03:49):
Um, Little Big Town is inlike my top five. Sugar Land
needs to get back together put outto more music. Yeah, these are
my you know, I don't evenknow are they what are they right now?
Sugarland? Sugarland wasn't together. Theycame back together? Are they?
Kind of even hid? But Ifeel like did they come back maybe during
the COVID time or I mean theywent their separate ways and Jennifer Nettles did

(04:11):
all those individual projects and Broadway oracting in the then they never really I
know, I think they toured fora minute. Again, I should know
the answer to that. I justthought that they were kind of least touring
together. But then I haven't heardso I hear you guys who work in
the radio and country music industry askingme because you you you're like super fan.

(04:32):
No, you are, You're likeyou are super fan. I mean
we we're deluded. We kind ofhave everybody, and we have our I
mean the ones that we really trulyenough too. But you are really dialed
in on a few acts that andyou know more things than we ever could.
Yeah, you're fan girly newslettery stockor kind of. I've been in

(04:53):
two fan clubs. Kaya ever,it's all right. I was part of
the Barney fan club. You whowere? What did you get for that
letter, Barnie? My mom?Yeah, I wonderful, But you see
my mom she just got it lastweek, Barney. It's not about the

(05:14):
big purple dinosaur, didn't does mymom run the Oh I got a tir
with your face? Oh yeah, yes see Wow, that's it sounds like
when you're like, I'm part ofthis man, Come of all the shows
coming up. You're gonna see Miranda. We know you're gonna see t R

(05:34):
So who else are you gonna go? To? Taylor? I'm trying to
get Taylor Swift tickets, but alongwith everybody else, not willing to pay
a thousand dollars for one seed inthe three hundred levels. So I mean
they're just waiting to see if Ican snipe something maybe night of concert,
will you do the outside? Likea lot of people if they can't make
it, really they listen on theoutside and kind of have their own little

(05:56):
party. Can you hear it throughyou as being stadium, it would be
tough. A lot of these useplaying our open air stadiums. That would
be different. Yeah, but Ithink that you can still kind to hear
it. I guarantee that there's goingto be a ton of people out there
though even a year, they're allgoing to be looking this snife ticket.
All three of you have connections andnone of you have tickets. You have

(06:16):
connections to US Bank, right, can't you rody charts? Yeah? I
tried my my badge. It doesn'twork. I have friends that work for
the Vikings and they are in thesame situation. Usually they if an artist
comes to US Bank Stadium, theywill get an offer to buy tickets at
face value. But not Taylor Swift. The only people who got tickets were
the ones who waited in the queueand got through and got through and did

(06:40):
the whole thing. So and Irespect that I'm not gonna I'm not gonna
go beg in and knocking down doors, and it's mostly for my daughter.
And if I stumble across them,if they go down enough to be in
my price range, maybe night ofshow, I will buy two tickets,
and I will probably be downtown andbuy them. Like it show starts at
seven, I'm at bottom at seventhirty five hundred. If they were floors,

(07:08):
sure, but I'm not gonna payfive hundred per seat. Yeah,
yeah, yeah, it's crazy.I know it's it's outrageous. So well,
it's not worth It's not worth thatto me. It's not It's not
worth a taken out alone. Thecrazy thing is that the very first opening
show that she did, people wereable to buy tickets at a decent price

(07:28):
night of because they did go downin price by the time that she was
about to go on stage, sothey were able to get in. But
now it's become such a thing wherepeople are traveling to the flying, they're
driving without tickets, getting fully readyfor the concert, and then going outside
the venue to try to buy ticketsthere, and most of the time they
aren't able to get them. Andnow these venues and resellers have figured out

(07:50):
that people are doing this because theyare documenting the entire thing on TikTok,
and so they aren't dropping the prices. So people are like, it's eight
thirty, She's are on stage, and these prices for seats that are supposedly
still for sale are still so expensive. Try to do that crazy. I
drove all the way from Jessica allright in a nutshell real quick. We

(08:18):
have more shows Calvin, Tim andDirk's Now you love Dirks? I love
Yeah. I saw drk S.Bentley last summer at Treasury. I know
I saw you there. Tim McgrawanKimmergrand, Dirks Bentley, UM, yeah
you were there. I was there, but Linda Jensen was there. There's
a whole bunch of people. Um, Ashley McBride open for him. That
was a great Yeah. So he'scoming back with Tim McGraw a country jam.
Now you going to Keith Urban?I do, yeah. I love

(08:43):
I love him and I've seen himin concert several times. It's one of
those where I get it, whatnight of the week is it? Where
is it? Okay? So Keithis conditional, He's conditional Keith. You've
seen Keith and I love him.I love him, but I have seen
it. I'm probably seen him infour or five of all of them.
As we wrap up, must seizefrom our dead or alive, anybody that

(09:03):
Martin would want to see? Whowould you want to see? You would
boring over five hundred bucks to see? Who would you want to see?
Anybody dead or alive? Who?Who'd you feel? Maybe you missed the
boat. I don't think I missedwell. I mean now maybe the Juds.
I watched the reunion or not thetour that White Nonah went on with

(09:28):
CMT where all of them were there, everyone who made a guest appearance on
that tour, Little Big Town,Kelsey Ballerini, Martina McBride, Um,
Ashley McBride, they were all,Brandy Carlyle, they were all. They
all came out and sang like oneor two songs and they all came out
at the end. The whole stagehad all those people on it. Yeah,

(09:48):
it's incredible. That's called classic Juds. But even when Mama was around,
I was like, oh, yeah, the Juds and then she trust
me. I'm like, come back. And my new favorite Lily Gold,
of course, is that maybe there'sa little connection. They're from Hazen,
North Dakota. I'm from Mina,North Dakota. They're only a couple hours
apart. So they were at thespring Break fan champ. Yes they were,

(10:13):
Yes, they were hy and Igot to interview them. They're so
sweet and so cute. Can yousing sing little song? I can your
favorite songs? Let's see what yougot. Let's side. Let's say Hi
and I have sung in the hall. The key is you have to plug
one ear and then you use yourhand on Hey, hey, is that

(10:37):
Christina Aguilera. That's what we do. It isn't exaggerated. Yeah, if
SNL was going to do a spoofof a singer, that would be it.
And then we we may not havethe best voices, but our stage
show personality and we can do runslike no other with our hands and run

(10:58):
Dixie Chicks. Oh there's one.Yeah, Okay, will you guys do
your show. I'll do the Pyro. Okay, you have to sign a
waiver, but I'll do the Pyro. But it'll be great. No,
dude, there won't be a bettershow on or if I'll make Sank Floyd
look like amateur, I'm serious,Thank you, for coming in. I'm
gonna hide in Maple Lake amazingly spooked, but thanks for coming in. Thanks
