a clip of Rosie O'Donnell, who was on I believe
it was Chris Cuomo Show yesterday, side by side with
with Mark Arragos, explaining why she was.

There, Why is she relevant? Why does anybody care what
she's doing?

I called them after I spoke to Mark last night
about doing this appearance, and I said, what's going on?
And they said, we You know, they're hesitant to hope
after being in jail, in prison for thirty five years
and being abused for his childhood up to that point.
You know, these men don't have a lot of bandwidth

to hope for what exactly happened.

I mean, I don't know what they think.

Of crap if they're hesitant to hope. They took a
shotgun to their parents' faces and reloaded, and they reloaded,

I know they have access to some information, but they

about her time on the view, they don't know anything about.

I mean, when have you ever seen a celebrity stand
up for a victim. It's always the wrongly accused. There's
this weird celebrity lane they drive in where it's we're
only gonna fight for people that have been found guilty
by a jury or several juries of their peers. Where

are the people the celebrities standing up for Kitty Menendez?
You know, where are the people that are like, yeah,
there's a lot of family dynamics that go on. Even
if Kitty did know that the husband was mean and
verbally abusive, I don't know. We never had any direct
evidence of any sort of parent molesting their child. And

I think sometimes people cannot get over the hurdle in
their head of parenticide. It's like when mothers kill their children.
It's really hard to think in your head. Of a
mother killing her children, right, that's just unnatural, goes against
every grain in your body. So you've got to say, well,

it's mental illness. We talked about that mother in Massachusetts
yesterday killed her three children, and they said, well, she
had been getting treatment for anxiety. That does not make
you kill your kids. Anxiety. Okay, that's not what does it.
But we have to have an excuse for these things
because it does go across every grain in our body.
The same thing for some kids killing their parents. Lizzie Borden,

Why is that story survived the test of time because
it's so fascinating that that could happen. So we have
to make up things like, oh, well his dad was
molesting him. Well, how hard is it to believe that
a father would molest his son. That's a hard hurdle
for me to get over as well.

Yeah, and it's not so the story about the letter
thing also, that is supposed to be a smoking gun, bombshell, whatever. Letter.
George Gascon posted a screenshot of the letter that Eric
Menendez had written to his cousin thirty plus years ago,
saying that he was abused by his father. The handwritten

letter it says, I've been trying to avoid dad. It's
still happening, Andy, but it's worse for me now. I
never know when it's going to happen, and it's driving
me crazy. Every night I stay up thinking he might
come in. It goes on. I mean, the letter itself
paints an awful picture of a nightmare that this kid
lived through, but at the time there was no evidence

of any of that.

There wasn't And you also have to entertain the thought
that this was premeditated. Eight months before they pulled the
trigger on their parents' faces in their living room, was
this setting some sort of story in motion.

The timing of this is also rather suspect. I mean,
you can be the least cynical person and realize that
having a high profile news conference like this twenty days
ahead of an election is not an accident. Lorie Combs
actually is a former prosecutor who worked in the office

at the time that this case was on trial.

He said his press conference, I've already resentenced three hundred people.
The law only went into effect for resentencing and hell
last year, so in a year he's already re sentenced
three hundred people. He talked about understanding that boys can
also be abused. He also talked about he said, I
don't think they should spend life in prison. He's also
talking about making his decision before the actual date in court,

which is at the end of November. He's talking about
making a decision at the end of October, which is
interestingly enough, just before his reelection that's coming up, which
he's kind of in a battle there.

And he's having this press conference. He called this press conference.

Today bringing all the family members together so that they
can make their voice heard and show everyone that, look,
the family members of the victims are supporting that these
men get out of prison.

The family members of the victims are the family members.
So the murder trial of that tech consulted up in
San Francisco and the cash app founder's death has begun.
This is the guy Bob Lee who was stabbed and killed.
Membory was found on the streets of San Francisco. Was
very odd back in April of twenty twenty three.

Yeah, so the allegation is that he was killed by
forty year old Nima MOMENTI I'm going to just use
the first name because it's going to be easier to
I think Niema was very close with his sister Kazar,
and his sister was banging bob Lee allegedly yes, and
was partying with him and doing all kinds of stuff. Now,

the what we know happened, just based on the video evidence,
is that bob Lee went to her apartment in the
Millennium Tower there in San Francisco, the apartment that she
shares with her plastic surgeon husband. About two in the morning,
he leaves with the brother, bob Lee leaves with Nima,

and then about a half an hour later, bob Lee
shows up staggering, having been stabbed a few times, and
the allegation is that the brother was upset with bob
Lee for partying with his sister and took revenge or whatever,
and then stabs him three times, including once directly through
(08:06):
the heart.

Nima's lawyers maintain that bob Lee had become aggressive, he
was on a multi day drug bender, and Nima had
to defend himself. Now, the siblings, as you can imagine,
are very close, more in less than a year apart,
immigrated from Iran with their mother in the nineties. They
would do anything for each other. According to people who
know them.

She has been married since twenty thirteen to a pretty
prominent plastic surgeon.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
He specializes in knows jobs and his name has been
splashed across magazines for years. Like most plastic surgeons, he
talks glowingly of his marriage and his wife.

The thing is, she had a pretty hot reputation for
partying as part of a group called the Lifestyle, which
is this underground party scene, high end underground party scene, drugs, swinging, sex,
and supposedly bob Lee was a part of this and
that's where he met Kazar and where they started hooking

up jed ly and that he was you know, what
was it three four days on the blow with about
six hours of sleep, And according to the defense attorneys
again that was what caused bob Lee to attack Niema first,
the brother to attack him first, and that Nima was
simply defending himself when he stabbed bob Lee a few times.

But the prosecution says that the brother was under the
impression that bob Lee had drugged and raped his sister
on the night of the killing, that he decided to
exact revenge on behalf of his sister.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
Yeah, even though the sister texted her brother later in
the later after the murder and said, you are e
fing psychotic. Uh. Further ramping up all of this is
that Bob Lee's former wife, christ has been in the courtroom,
and in fact, the defense attorneys wanted her barred from
the courtroom. She referred to Kazar as the horror of

high Tower.

So this is a It's got a little bit of
everything for the inn.

But I find it hard to believe there's only one

I think it is. They did find Nima's DNA on
the handle of the knife, and they found Bob Lee's

defense attorneys had said they should have also fingerprinted the
handle to see if Bob Lee's ever held the knife
in the first place.

Since they did not fingerprint the handle of the Knight
of the murder weapon.

Well, according to the defense, we know what defense attorneys do, right.
I have more space news. Scientists say a celestial object
discovered decades ago is actually two two two objects orbiting
each other. The journal Nature says astronomers have puzzled over
a shinshan atlas have puzzled over a brown dwarf spotted

We can't even have Victoria's Secret anymore. Apparently Victoria's Secret.
Of course, one's famed for throwing the sexiest, most extravagant
runway shows in the world the nineties. You know, being
called a Victoria's Secret Angel made your career. That all

that the shows, and now this year's show is being
called boring.

On the one hand, Luftanza, which is Germany's largest airline,
has been fined four million dollars for discriminating against Jewish passengers.
This all stems from an incident back in May of
twenty twenty two. The airline prohibited one hundred and twenty
eight Jewish passengers from from boarding. The US Department of

Transportation noted in a consent order the passengers were wearing
distinctive guarb typically worn by Orthodox Jewish Men, and they
were denied boarding as a group and were unable to
connect in Frankfort to Budapest from a New York flight
because of the misbehavior of a few of them. Here's
the catch. These guys didn't know each other, they weren't

traveling as a group. In a press release, the airline
said that all of this resulted from an unfortunate series
of inaccurate communications, misrepresentation, sorry, misinterpretations, and misjudgments throughout the
decision making process. They said that sixty passengers on board
were repeatedly disregarding safety and public announcements from flight attendants

and from the flight deck, and the crew said that
some passengers obstructed flight attendants and Economy Class from its
onboard food and beverage service. They were inconveniencing other passengers
and were arguing with the crew about wearing masks. But again,
it's not that the group of guys sued Luftanza. This

is the Department of Transportation saying that they need to
pay a four million dollar fine for discrimination.

An airplane captain has been suspended for locking his female
co pilot out of the flight deck because she went
to the bathroom.

It was a ten hour flight from Sydney, Australia to
Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka, and the first officer
decided to use the bathroom, so she left her male
compatriot alone at the controls there. When she returned, she
found out she was unable to open the door to
the flight deck. It turns out the guy had locked
her out because she had not arranged for someone to

take her place during her bathroom break, which is a
violation of standard operating procedures. Everybody knows, if there's no
third relief pilot on board, a flight attendant stands in
the control room until the first officer returns.

So this guy's sistful first rule of piloting, I think,
right right. I mean, you know, if there's no third.

If there's nobody in the jump seat, you got to
bring in the stewardess.

But I don't light at ten ten hour flight. I
guess that would be a long haul flight. I was
going to say, during long haul flights, you usually have
three or four pilots because you've got to rotate in
and out.

So she violated procedure. But isn't he Vio violating procedure
more so by being alone in the cockpit for ten hours?

Probably? Yeah, And you just got to teach her a
lesson and then be stripped of his license. Maybe we
were talking earlier. Water water, water, water. I don't know
why we've become the Emergency Preparedness show a record, but
they have. We are talking specifically, water in North Carolina
is hard to come by, and how you deal with
water where you find water in areas in the event

of a disaster. So I said, hey, fill up that water.
Fill up that bathub as soon as the earthquake hits.
Hopefully it stays there for a while and can help
you get through the tough times. Somebody also said, turn
off the inlet to your hot water and you could
use that water if you needed to. Here's another reminder,
though some of that time sometimes that water's gross.

Also remember a normal operation of a water heater, the
hot water comes out the top of the tank. That
valve at the bottom is there for annual maintenance to
drain all the gook and sediment out of the tank
gook and flush it out. So if you're using that
for water storage, you hook a hose up to it.
All that sediment's going to be coming out with the water.
You need to filter that or run it through a

strainer or something, because otherwise.

You know, once we had to clear the mainline or whatever,
that that's all. I remember clearing the mainline at some
point and my husband wasn't home, and the guy who
does this came over and this is all reminding me
of how I just went completely and he starts talking
and I just I just I zone out and I

smile and okay, all right, Yeah, if you could just
call my husband and tell him all of that, that
would be awesome. I just don't I just doesn't compute
to me. It's really like a foreign language. Any sort
of home maintenance whatsoever.

to make up things like, oh, well his dad was
molesting him. Well, how hard is it to believe that
a father would molest his son. That's a hard hurdle
for me to get over as well.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
Yeah, and it's not so the story about the letter
thing also, that is supposed to be a smoking gun, bombshell, whatever. Letter.
George Gascon posted a screenshot of the letter that Eric
Menendez had written to his cousin thirty plus years ago,
saying that he was abused by his father. The handwritten
(04:49):
letter it says, I've been trying to avoid dad. It's
still happening, Andy, but it's worse for me now. I
never know when it's going to happen, and it's driving
me crazy. Every night I stay up thinking he might
come in. It goes on. I mean, the letter itself
paints an awful picture of a nightmare that this kid
lived through, but at the time there was no evidence
(05:13):
of any of that.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
There wasn't And you also have to entertain the thought
that this was premeditated. Eight months before they pulled the
trigger on their parents' faces in their living room, was
this setting some sort of story in motion.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
The timing of this is also rather suspect. I mean,
you can be the least cynical person and realize that
having a high profile news conference like this twenty days
ahead of an election is not an accident. Lorie Combs
actually is a former prosecutor who worked in the office
(05:52):
at the time that this case was on trial.
Speaker 5 (05:54):
He said his press conference, I've already resentenced three hundred people.
The law only went into effect for resentencing and hell
last year, so in a year he's already re sentenced
three hundred people. He talked about understanding that boys can
also be abused. He also talked about he said, I
don't think they should spend life in prison. He's also
talking about making his decision before the actual date in court,
(06:16):
which is at the end of November. He's talking about
making a decision at the end of October, which is
interestingly enough, just before his reelection that's coming up, which
he's kind of in a battle there.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
And he's having this press conference. He called this press conference.
Speaker 5 (06:29):
Today bringing all the family members together so that they
can make their voice heard and show everyone that, look,
the family members of the victims are supporting that these
men get out of prison.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
The family members of the victims are the family members.
So the murder trial of that tech consulted up in
San Francisco and the cash app founder's death has begun.
This is the guy Bob Lee who was stabbed and killed.
Membory was found on the streets of San Francisco. Was
very odd back in April of twenty twenty three.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
Yeah, so the allegation is that he was killed by
forty year old Nima MOMENTI I'm going to just use
the first name because it's going to be easier to
I think Niema was very close with his sister Kazar,
and his sister was banging bob Lee allegedly yes, and
was partying with him and doing all kinds of stuff. Now,
(07:24):
the what we know happened, just based on the video evidence,
is that bob Lee went to her apartment in the
Millennium Tower there in San Francisco, the apartment that she
shares with her plastic surgeon husband. About two in the morning,
he leaves with the brother, bob Lee leaves with Nima,
(07:46):
and then about a half an hour later, bob Lee
shows up staggering, having been stabbed a few times, and
the allegation is that the brother was upset with bob
Lee for partying with his sister and took revenge or whatever,
and then stabs him three times, including once directly through
(08:06):
the heart.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
Nima's lawyers maintain that bob Lee had become aggressive, he
was on a multi day drug bender, and Nima had
to defend himself. Now, the siblings, as you can imagine,
are very close, more in less than a year apart,
immigrated from Iran with their mother in the nineties. They
would do anything for each other. According to people who
know them.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
She has been married since twenty thirteen to a pretty
prominent plastic surgeon.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
He specializes in knows jobs and his name has been
splashed across magazines for years. Like most plastic surgeons, he
talks glowingly of his marriage and his wife.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
The thing is, she had a pretty hot reputation for
partying as part of a group called the Lifestyle, which
is this underground party scene, high end underground party scene, drugs, swinging, sex,
and supposedly bob Lee was a part of this and
that's where he met Kazar and where they started hooking
(09:10):
up jed ly and that he was you know, what
was it three four days on the blow with about
six hours of sleep, And according to the defense attorneys
again that was what caused bob Lee to attack Niema first,
the brother to attack him first, and that Nima was
simply defending himself when he stabbed bob Lee a few times.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
But the prosecution says that the brother was under the
impression that bob Lee had drugged and raped his sister
on the night of the killing, that he decided to
exact revenge on behalf of his sister.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
Yeah, even though the sister texted her brother later in
the later after the murder and said, you are e
fing psychotic. Uh. Further ramping up all of this is
that Bob Lee's former wife, christ has been in the courtroom,
and in fact, the defense attorneys wanted her barred from
the courtroom. She referred to Kazar as the horror of

high Tower.
Speaker 1 (10:09):
A reference to the Millennium Tower.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
So this is a It's got a little bit of
everything for the inn.
Speaker 1 (10:16):
But I find it hard to believe there's only one
whore in that tower. I mean, it's a big tower.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
It is a big tower.
Speaker 1 (10:24):
There's a lot of money to live there. But sinking.
Is that the one that's sinking?
Speaker 2 (10:28):
I think it is. They did find Nima's DNA on
the handle of the knife, and they found Bob Lee's
blood on the blade of the knife. Duh. But the
defense attorneys had said they should have also fingerprinted the
handle to see if Bob Lee's ever held the knife
in the first place.
Speaker 1 (10:47):
Since they did not fingerprint the handle of the Knight
of the murder weapon.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
Well, according to the defense, we know what defense attorneys do, right.
I have more space news. Scientists say a celestial object
discovered decades ago is actually two two two objects orbiting
each other. The journal Nature says astronomers have puzzled over
a shinshan atlas have puzzled over a brown dwarf spotted

thirty years ago.
Speaker 1 (11:15):
I think the tea is silent.

This object appeared too dim for its mass, and using
a telescope in Chile, astronomers observed it was actually a
duo circling close to each other. Brown dwarf pairs have
been spotted before, but this pair orbits at a much

it doesn't fit his show schedule. His show starts at

three o'clock hour time, and they're going to record it
about an hour before that. Also, former President Trump sat
down for a town hall an audience of women this
morning on Fox News, and then he will have another
town hall aimed at Latino voters that runs on UNI
Bision tonight.

We can't even have Victoria's Secret anymore. Apparently Victoria's Secret.
Of course, one's famed for throwing the sexiest, most extravagant
runway shows in the world the nineties. You know, being
called a Victoria's Secret Angel made your career. That all
changed when everybody decided that Victoria's Secret was a sexist outdated.

Sales began to decline, so they had to the redesign
that the shows, and now this year's show is being
called boring.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
It was six years ago that they canceled it. And
I don't think anybody felt like there was a clamor
for them to bring it back.

It had its day, right, It had its day in
the nineties.

And if I'm not mistaken, they actually did one after
a Super Bowl at one point something or Thanksgiving night,
like they got in trouble whichever network was airing it
got in trouble for showing that on what should have
been or otherwise, you know, nice Family Evening or whatever
their whatever the complaint was. They had to pull out

all the stops for the big Comeback, Comeback show last night.
So they brought out people you've heard of and some
you never have. Gigi and Bella Hadid came out. Ashley
Graham is considered a plus size model. They brought out
Tyra Banks, she hasn't been as part of that show

transgender models also were angels in the show. I know
that dere are what do you call it, retailers who
market talkable bathing suits things like that, Okay, but I've

also seen some of the some of the wares that
they sell from Victoria Sewer. I can't figure out what I.

On the one hand, Luftanza, which is Germany's largest airline,
has been fined four million dollars for discriminating against Jewish passengers.
This all stems from an incident back in May of
twenty twenty two. The airline prohibited one hundred and twenty
eight Jewish passengers from from boarding. The US Department of
(17:59):
Transportation noted in a consent order the passengers were wearing
distinctive guarb typically worn by Orthodox Jewish Men, and they
were denied boarding as a group and were unable to
connect in Frankfort to Budapest from a New York flight
because of the misbehavior of a few of them. Here's
the catch. These guys didn't know each other, they weren't
(18:20):
traveling as a group. In a press release, the airline
said that all of this resulted from an unfortunate series
of inaccurate communications, misrepresentation, sorry, misinterpretations, and misjudgments throughout the
decision making process. They said that sixty passengers on board
were repeatedly disregarding safety and public announcements from flight attendants
(18:44):
and from the flight deck, and the crew said that
some passengers obstructed flight attendants and Economy Class from its
onboard food and beverage service. They were inconveniencing other passengers
and were arguing with the crew about wearing masks. But again,
it's not that the group of guys sued Luftanza. This
(19:05):
is the Department of Transportation saying that they need to
pay a four million dollar fine for discrimination.
Speaker 1 (19:12):
An airplane captain has been suspended for locking his female
co pilot out of the flight deck because she went
to the bathroom.
Speaker 2 (19:18):
I get it.
Speaker 1 (19:19):
It was a ten hour flight from Sydney, Australia to
Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka, and the first officer
decided to use the bathroom, so she left her male
compatriot alone at the controls there. When she returned, she
found out she was unable to open the door to
the flight deck. It turns out the guy had locked
her out because she had not arranged for someone to
(19:40):
take her place during her bathroom break, which is a
violation of standard operating procedures. Everybody knows, if there's no
third relief pilot on board, a flight attendant stands in
the control room until the first officer returns.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
So this guy's sistful first rule of piloting, I think,
right right. I mean, you know, if there's no third.
Speaker 1 (20:00):
If there's nobody in the jump seat, you got to
bring in the stewardess.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
But I don't light at ten ten hour flight. I
guess that would be a long haul flight. I was
going to say, during long haul flights, you usually have
three or four pilots because you've got to rotate in
and out.
Speaker 1 (20:14):
So she violated procedure. But isn't he Vio violating procedure
more so by being alone in the cockpit for ten hours?
Speaker 2 (20:23):
Probably? Yeah, And you just got to teach her a
lesson and then be stripped of his license. Maybe we
were talking earlier. Water water, water, water. I don't know
why we've become the Emergency Preparedness show a record, but
they have. We are talking specifically, water in North Carolina
is hard to come by, and how you deal with
water where you find water in areas in the event
(20:45):
of a disaster. So I said, hey, fill up that water.
Fill up that bathub as soon as the earthquake hits.
Hopefully it stays there for a while and can help
you get through the tough times. Somebody also said, turn
off the inlet to your hot water and you could
use that water if you needed to. Here's another reminder,
though some of that time sometimes that water's gross.
Speaker 3 (21:08):
Also remember a normal operation of a water heater, the
hot water comes out the top of the tank. That
valve at the bottom is there for annual maintenance to
drain all the gook and sediment out of the tank
gook and flush it out. So if you're using that
for water storage, you hook a hose up to it.
All that sediment's going to be coming out with the water.
You need to filter that or run it through a
(21:29):
strainer or something, because otherwise.
Speaker 1 (21:33):
You know, once we had to clear the mainline or whatever,
that that's all. I remember clearing the mainline at some
point and my husband wasn't home, and the guy who
does this came over and this is all reminding me
of how I just went completely and he starts talking
and I just I just I zone out and I
(21:56):
smile and okay, all right, Yeah, if you could just
call my husband and tell him all of that, that
would be awesome. I just don't I just doesn't compute
to me. It's really like a foreign language. Any sort
of home maintenance whatsoever.
Speaker 2 (22:10):
Not true. You're not completely helpless.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
I mean, I just don't understand any of it. I
I'm not good with, you know, puzzles and things.
Speaker 2 (22:20):
And was it with the main line from the house
to the street. That's that's a big job. It was
a big job.
Speaker 1 (22:27):
But explaining what was going to happen in all of
that total training and buzz, and it's a comet to me.
