KFI AM six forty.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
It is now time for the game where you choose
your own cinematic adventure. There are ten movie clips that
we have assembled from various decades in American movie history,
as we do each and every Friday night, and your
job is to pick one and then name the movie
from which it comes. Some days we play for prizes
and some days we play for fun. And after hearing

(00:30):
the clip, you can ask for help from anyone in
the studio or in your house. You can Google, you
can text a friend, you can lie, cheat, steal, we
don't care. But the answer is up to you. You'll
have thirty seconds from the end of the clip and
one hint from those of us.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
In the studio to give the right answer. Now, let's
get to it.

Speaker 2 (00:51):

any number. Wait minute, is that like a Morse code?
What's that?

Speaker 3 (01:38):
What are you doing?

Twelve years ago he was on a vice rass with
Dick Stensland. The questioned Pierce Patchett about a blackmail scam.
Patchett had sid Hudgens photographing prominent businessman with hookers. Anyway,
charges were dropped in sufficient evidence. You were the supervising

Speaker 6 (02:26):
Anything about it?

Speaker 9 (02:29):
What's this all about, Boyo?

Speaker 8 (02:31):
Part of it has to do with the murder. I've
been working with ed Axley on it.

Speaker 9 (02:35):
You're a narco jack, not homicide. Since when do you
work with Edmund Exley.

Speaker 8 (02:41):
Well, it's a private investigation. I messed something up. I'm
trying to make amends. Don't start trying to do the
right thing, Boyo. Yeahn't had the practice.

started off with uh when I heard buzz Leeks, I
was like, oh my god, I know that one.

Speaker 2 (22:14):
And you hope that you get one that you know
instant instantly as well. But it doesn't always work out
that way. But Louis, you did fantastic, great job.

is Star Wars. I know it sounds crazy, but from
the moment they point to the we're going in these
canyons people that Yeah.

Speaker 3 (23:55):
We talked about that on the air.

Speaker 4 (23:57):
I never heard you say that.

Speaker 3 (23:58):
Yes, we said it. So it's so. Is an exact
rip of Star Wars.

Speaker 4 (24:03):
Yeah, okay, all right, yes it is so.

Speaker 2 (24:06):
We agree. Okay, So you can choose number two, four, eight, or.

Speaker 4 (24:11):
Ten, I don't know. Two.

Speaker 3 (24:18):
Here we go, number two. Are you in charge here? Yes? Wrong,
I'm in charge? Is made sure?

Speaker 6 (24:27):
Bet charge.

Speaker 3 (24:30):
You never see anything like this before. This is on
the top banana in a world full of hungry little monkeys.

Speaker 10 (24:37):
Allow me to clarify, in a sequentially ranked hierarchy based
on a level of critical importance, the disparity between us
is too vast to quantify age and stone.

Speaker 3 (24:45):
The doctor thinks you're basic.

Speaker 4 (24:47):
I'm initiating a sweep sequence ten miles in every direction.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
Should suffice.

Speaker 3 (24:52):
Is he still looking at me? Funny, Yes he is.
Tell him to stop, or I'll pull up his search history.
If you don't stop looking at the doctor. If he'll
take a closer look, I'm not and tell him his
men report to me.

Speaker 13 (25:01):
Now.

Speaker 2 (25:02):
Blah, listen, I don't know if you realize, I'm sorry, Major?
What was your name?

Speaker 6 (25:08):
Ben?

Speaker 3 (25:08):
Nobody cares? Brandon from Colton? Do you recognize this movie?

Speaker 4 (25:13):
How about Ken? No? No, not at all. I've not
seen it.

Speaker 3 (25:20):
Jim Carrey plays a wonderful villain.

Speaker 4 (25:23):
Yep, I recognize his voice. I would just be guessing
Jim Carrey movies that I haven't seen.

Speaker 2 (25:27):
It's a model, it's modeled after a video game. Okay,
it's it's a it's a nice fast food place.

Speaker 3 (25:39):
That's your first hand. That's a good nd.

Speaker 6 (25:41):
Yeah it is.

Speaker 3 (25:43):
Yeah, it has great tater tots.

Speaker 4 (25:45):
Oh man, I'm really disappointed tonight on.

Speaker 3 (25:52):
Uh think blue.

Speaker 2 (25:55):
It's a blue character, blue character, yes, character, the color blue, color.

Speaker 3 (26:01):
Blue, and it runs really fast.

Speaker 2 (26:05):
Yeah, okay, a plane which is going faster than the
speed of sound is flying.

Speaker 3 (26:13):
Super What a Superman movie?

Speaker 2 (26:18):
Listen to me, A plane which is flying faster than
the speed of sound is flying super?

Speaker 4 (26:25):
What sonic?

Speaker 3 (26:27):
Correct? First word?

Speaker 4 (26:30):
Hedgehog? Yes, made a movie about that.

Speaker 3 (26:35):
They've made three of them.

Speaker 4 (26:36):
As a matter of fact, Hey, Brandon.

Speaker 3 (26:41):
Got to run. But thanks so much for being such
a great sport.

Speaker 4 (26:44):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (26:45):
I have a great weekend.

Speaker 2 (26:48):
And before we close out, I want to bring on
Lucy Hill, who was doing the traffic tonight.

Speaker 3 (26:54):
Lucy, can you hear me? I can, yes, And everyone has.

Speaker 2 (26:58):
Been remarking on your wonderful accent, so I think it's
appropriate for us to ask where are you from.

Speaker 11 (27:04):
I'm originally from the UK, but I've been here for
a long time and sort of by way of Boston
and Virginia and yeah, so yeah, it's sort of a mishmash.
People ask me, are you an Australian sug I no, mate,
I'm not. You know, but you can be whatever you want.

(27:25):
I even had somebody once asked me if I was
from North Carolina.

Speaker 3 (27:28):
I just looked at her like what I would have
never said that.

Speaker 2 (27:32):
Now I wonder what your accent would have sounded like
to people in Boston because they have a very hard
accent all their own.

Speaker 11 (27:42):
Yeah, the pack, the care, Yeah no, it took it
took a while for them to get used to it.
I had, let's put it this way, I had mixed reactions.
I had good and I had not so good.

Speaker 15 (27:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:57):
The reason I brought you on is because one it's
nice to be able to meet you officially, and two
we want to see if you want to play the
game with us and take one clip.

Speaker 11 (28:07):
Sure, I mean I'm probably gonna be made full of
but I'm up for it.

Speaker 3 (28:12):
All right, your game?

Speaker 6 (28:13):
All right?

Speaker 3 (28:14):
Let me give you one, Daniel, want to do number four?
Here we go, Here's number four.

Speaker 5 (28:21):
I'm not making this up.

Speaker 14 (28:24):
These are real.

Speaker 15 (28:28):
Who has a safety deposit box full of.

Speaker 14 (28:32):
Money and six passports and the gun who has a
bank account number in their hip. I come in here
and the first thing I'm doing is I'm catching the
sidelines and looking for an exit.

Speaker 4 (28:44):
I see the exit sign too.

Speaker 3 (28:45):
I'm not worried. I mean, you were shot.

Speaker 11 (28:49):
People do all kinds of weird and amazing stuff when
they're scared.

Speaker 15 (28:54):
I can tell you the license plate numbers of all
six cars outside. I can tell you that our waitress
is left handed, and the guy say at the counter
weighs two hundred and fifteen pounds and knows how to
handle himself. I know the best place to look for
a gun as the cab of the great truck outside.
And at this altitude I can run flat out for
a half mile before my hands starts shaking.

Speaker 3 (29:13):
And why would I know that? How can I know that?
And I know I am Lucy. Do you have any idea?

Speaker 2 (29:20):
I do.

Speaker 11 (29:21):
I think that is one of the Bourne movies, and
that is Jason Bourne, but so Matt Damon. But I
think it was the very first one. Yes, yes, because
I love those movies, the Jason, the Bourne identity.

Speaker 3 (29:39):
Yes, well done.

Speaker 2 (29:45):
I say this all the time, and I don't mean
this to sound demeaning or derogatory, but the women play
the game the best by far, and you are such
a good sport about it. Because this is the first
time we had a chance to work together, and you
grab the bull by the horns and just jumped in
with us.

Speaker 3 (30:03):
And we thank you for that. Lucy.

Speaker 11 (30:05):
Oh well, thank you, mo. That was so sweet?

Speaker 3 (30:07):
Are you all so sweet?

Speaker 11 (30:08):
Thank you?

Speaker 3 (30:09):
Are you going to be working with us regularly.

Speaker 11 (30:12):
I don't think so. I mean, I fill in. I'm
a quote fill in and that's okay. I'm okay with that.
So I'm wherever you find me.

Speaker 2 (30:22):
Hopefully we'll get to find you again. I mean, we
love Pedro, but we also appreciate what you did tonight.

Speaker 11 (30:27):
Thank you so much, Lucy, Oh, thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (30:29):
Have a great weekend you too. It's later with mo Kelly. Everyone,
have a great weekend. We'll see you on Monday, and
then we'll get ready for the great Chateau Les MoU
fifth annual Fourth of July Live Show and celebration. Be
safe in the meantime, kay if I aim six forty.
