Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're listening to Later with Moe Kelly on demand from
KFI AM six forty.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Let's find out what's going on with Nick Poliochini, who
brought us Burger King tonight and uh let's start there Nick.
Speaker 3 (00:13):
Why Burger King?
Speaker 4 (00:13):
Yeah, Burger King is starting a brand new menu. So
if you check out this weekome a Nick or Nick
Poliochinni on Instagram or TikTok or any of the socials,
you'll be able to see exactly what fun and execut
me we've been enjoying tonight. So tonight the Monster Menu premiered,
or rather today the Monster Menu premiered at Burger King's
around the country. So we went there and tried everything here.
(00:35):
So they have a Jack o Lantern whopper that's available
with bacon and cheese.
Speaker 3 (00:39):
Moking a test. That's delicious. It was so good.
Speaker 4 (00:41):
But if you're joining us on YouTube, I'm gonna try
to show you it is actually a orange Let's see
can I make that work?
Speaker 3 (00:50):
Yeah? There you go.
Speaker 4 (00:51):
So there's an orange bun with black susy that's transfer
but it's bright. It's bright orange, like if you have
ever had a diet. A lot of times they do
the squid ink or the black colored buns. Let me
just tell you ahead of time when you go to
Burger King and try this, and I should tell you
mo to warn you, it's very likely that tomorrow something
the toilet bowl will be a very different color than
(01:12):
you expected it to be.
Speaker 3 (01:13):
Orange Died number fourteen correct.
Speaker 4 (01:15):
So the sad part is as beautiful as this is,
it will not necessarily translate to being process through your body,
so there's just a heads up on that. But then also,
and I love this because I love it when a
brand and the thing too. Like we've done in years past,
they go super spicy because for whatever reason, Halloween and
spicy go together, and I'm totally a fan of it,
(01:35):
but not a lot of people do it. So this
year the only thing that they have available is Hallapenion poppers,
which are delicious.
Speaker 3 (01:41):
But you also have and.
Speaker 4 (01:43):
This is kind of fun. Everybody love them so much.
But again, if you're following us on YouTube, you can
see we've got vampire nuggets in its own little fun coffin.
And I know this doesn't translate very well for radio,
but for YouTube it looks great. But also they have
their nuggies are in bat shape and in fangs like
(02:04):
vampire bat and vampire fangs, so you've got that option.
You've also got trick or cheese.
Speaker 3 (02:12):
You have the Mummy. Oh, here we go, thank you, Daniel.
There we go.
Speaker 4 (02:15):
We got the Mummy mozzarella. So these are mozzarelsa and
obviously you heard their fire from tea, so all about it.
And the last thing that we on Oh I want
to talk about as well is this fun switch over done. Yeah,
it doesn't look as good because it's been around for
a while.
Speaker 3 (02:33):
Oh, there we go. Now we got all sorts of things.
Speaker 4 (02:35):
So if you're looking on YouTube, you can see the
Mummy mozzarella fries, which are delicious.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
And then also I will pass it off to this one.
Speaker 4 (02:46):
It is very much melted now, but there is a
delicious little Sunday that you can do and it's kind
of akin to, you know, a young lady with some
red hair at a different restaurant. It tastes very similar
to something they may have had in the recent past.
But it's wonderful. So the other thing too, that you
can get right now. It started on the fifteenth of September.
But if you are interested in Scooby Dooby do they Actually,
(03:09):
that's the kids meal, so you can get right now
I'm showing off what the monster is or the person
that the Scooby crew is chasing in this fun little
Halloween spin off.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
But that's it. So yeah, Burger King has really brought
a lot to the table with it. Now.
Speaker 4 (03:27):
Just to talk about what's coming up later is allegedly
they'll be adding Pales kind of I'll McDonald's to the lineup,
but I think that's going to come in after the
Scooby Doo meal has wrapped up. And then additionally you
will be able to find all the different retailers. McDonald's
is going to have the bugets Buckets back again for
(03:49):
the end of the month, so around the fifteenth of
October through the end of the year, that will be
the case for you. And then also Wendy's has those
little fun guys back, so that'll be really a good time.
I'll be showing you those in a week or two
when they are officially out and about got those. You know,
we have friends of the show later with Mo Kelly
that are huge fans of that. But also not to
(04:10):
jump ship from Burger King, but I want to do
a quick taste test with Mo and it will be
on the Joanes Soda. So last week on Wednesday, we
talked about it here What's up with Nick? On Tuesday
that the premiere of Marvel Zombies on Disney Plus came
out on the twenty fourth, And what has happened is
(04:33):
Jones Soda.
Speaker 3 (04:33):
If you're familiar, it's the Cane sugar soda.
Speaker 4 (04:36):
They have launched a special horrific branded four pack that
you can get online at their website and it's the
only place you can get right now to go onto
jonessoda dot com. But they actually sent it over from
Marvel Zombies from Disney Plus, from Marvel Entertainment and Animation.
So we got those here to try. So what are
you feeling, Moe, What do you want to do? We've
(04:58):
got a theory know, Eternal Eclipse, Okay, so go start
left to right. So if we're starting left to right,
it's gonna be Eternal Eclipse, which is a cream soda.
Speaker 3 (05:07):
Then we've got it. Looks like that one is I
don't know who that's themed to. Am I waiting for you? Oh?
Go for it? No, no please?
Speaker 4 (05:18):
And then we've got let's see so Captain America is
represented by Dead and Buried Bury Lemonade soda, which is blue,
insanely electric blue. You've also got Thanos. Okay, sorry, so
we so Dead and Buried. Now Dead and Buried is
Captain America's soda from Marble Zombies. If you're not familiar
(05:39):
with Marble Zombies. It is a four episode mini series
available on Disney Plus. But it came around from the
what If series of animation and they were featured in
one of the alternate universes. This year they decided to
do an entire series about it, and you get to
start out with Ironheart, Miss Marvel and Kate Bishop, who
is Hawkeyes protege from the Marvel universe.
Speaker 3 (06:00):
They start out the whole experience. It's incredible.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
If you have not watched it yet on Disney Plus,
it's one hundred percent well worth your time.
Speaker 3 (06:06):
You might actually be able to find it on YouTube
as well. Just a heads up on that, all right.
Speaker 4 (06:09):
Moving on to Thanos is Undead Brew, which is a
root beer, and that is what's the verdict. Yummy, It's yummy, okay,
and then finally Scarlet Witch is gonna be the wrap up,
and that is blood Moon zest a strawberry lime soda. Again,
you can get all of these online right now jonessoda
(06:31):
dot com and it'll be a limited time available situation
for you, something that is well worth getting. Second, the
cream soda is the best eternal beas it smells really good.
And then okay, and it is this is Blade. It's Blade,
but Blade as the scion for what's the series that
was on Disney plus name drawing a blank Night Night Moonnight.
(06:53):
So Blade is the sion for Modnight. Not to be
a spoiler alert, spoiler alert, but Blade is back voiced
by a very specific.
Speaker 3 (07:02):
Actor connected to Blade. Connected to Blade.
Speaker 4 (07:04):
You'll have to tune if you don't know, If you know,
you know, but if not, anyway, We've got lots of
food here, so much more to fill you in on.
I've got reviews of Queen Mary's Dark Harbor, just check
that out. Actually, on Sunday night, I've got a quick
rundown of Magic of the Jackal Lanterns, which is at
South Coast Botanic Garden. It was an insanely busy weekend.
(07:25):
I had four different Halloween things going. And then now
here we are the beginning of Nicktoberfest starting tomorrow. Because
if you don't know, my birthday's Halloween, so it will
be a celebration of all things that go bump in
the night. And you can always check out more on
social media at this weekend with Nick or Nick Poliochini.
It's the easiest way to track me down. And you
can see a video of a huge shout out as
(07:46):
well too. I bought it out of my own pocket.
But thank you to the Burger King Crew off of
Olive No No, No Victory off of Victory here in
Burbank who helped me get all the goodies together for
the Burger King Porsche of it. You guys are so
helpful and wonderful. But anyway, stick around because I've got
so much more to fill you in on to get
(08:06):
you ready for spooky season.
Speaker 1 (08:08):
You're listening to Later with Mo Kelly on demand from
kf I A M six forty.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
What KFI Later with Kelly, Nick Polio Kenny, what's up
(08:42):
with you?
Speaker 3 (08:42):
Nick? What are you doing? But we did all the
food and I love it was delicious.
Speaker 4 (08:47):
In fact, I just ate the entire time, not that
I need to, but I ate the entire time when
we were on break. But I want to talk to
you about all the things that I've covered so far.
Some of you, we appreciate you greatly, especially Mo migos
in the chat. I do not have that up and
so I have not been able to interact tonight because
in my excitement over the Burger King food and the Jones.
Speaker 3 (09:06):
SODA's, I completely forgot my laptop.
Speaker 4 (09:08):
So anyway, but I want to kind of remind you
of all the things that are underway right now that
we've talked about already throughout the Southland, because obviously tomorrow
is the first of October, and if you are not
familiar not already aware, my birthday is Halloween, so it
is officially Nicktoberfest, and I will be bringing you all
sorts of good fun and exciting things going on, plus
non spooky related activities. Do remember that if you are
(09:32):
interested in the family friendly stuff and you're looking for
something a little bit you know, more chill than mellow,
Disney does have their Oogie Boogie Bash that is underway
all the way through the first weekend of November and
Knock on Wood that is not sold out, so there
are a lot of nights you can check out if
you're interested in doing anything with Disney check that out
Disneyland dot Com. Otherwise, Not Scary Farm is in full effect.
(09:55):
And then also this week starts out Not Spooky Farm.
Now Not Spooky Farm run Thursdays through Sundays, and it
happens inside of Camp Snoopy inside of Not Sperry Farm.
It is happening during the day into the afternoon toward
the evening, so before Not Scary Farm takes over. It's
a great opportunity for you to take the kids and
enjoy some you know, not necessarily as spooky content. You've
(10:19):
got the entire Peanuts gang, so Charlie Brown and Snoopy
and all of them are there decked out in their
Halloween best costumes.
Speaker 3 (10:26):
You also get to.
Speaker 4 (10:26):
Go trigger treating and the kids not adults if you're
under thirteen, you do get to come in costume as well.
Speaker 3 (10:32):
So it's a cool time.
Speaker 4 (10:34):
You get to do costumes for Ogi Boogie Bash over Disney,
and then you also get to do costumes over at
Spooky Farm during the afternoon and evening.
Speaker 3 (10:42):
It realistically runs all day.
Speaker 4 (10:43):
The trick or treating usually doesn't pick up until the afternoon,
and then the event for Not Scary Farm starts at
seven o'clock Thursday through Sunday, although starting I believe it
may be tomorrow or it maybe next week, but Wednesday
through Sundays when not Scary Farm will be an effect
for you. There also Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights is
underway and it is really incredible. I will be bringing
(11:05):
you some more fun behind the scenes content. I actually
got to do a special annual pass holder tour of
the Fallout Maze, which is really cool and it encouraged
me to go look at Amazon Prime and to check
out a Falloout, the TV series based on the video game.
And then also Queen Mary's Dark Harbor is full is
in full effect, brought you some insight from opening nights,
(11:27):
and then also went on Sunday night. It's a great
opportunity for you to get down there. The ticket pricing
is a little bit lower, which is kind of nice,
but if you want to experience something that is truly
Southern California, it is definitely going to be a Queen
Mary or Queen Mary's Dark Harbor specifically because three of
the five mazes are based on the ship, and they're
all based on folklore stories about different characters that have
(11:51):
allegedly been haunting the ship. Some of them are long
standing stories that Dark Harbor has brought year after year,
and they will bring you up to date on that.
But you get to go to Madam Mabel's seance and
may get an opportunity to check out some really cool
spook easies that are actually located physically in the mazes,
the most important one, because Madam Mabel usually just gives
(12:12):
you one token to get in, I want to encourage
you if you go to Queen Mary's Dark Harbor, you
need to find the spook easy in Infirmary, the Maze Infirmary,
because it takes you down to boiler Room three. You
actually get to go down below the water line in
an elevator pitch black on the ship, and you get
to explore an area of the ship that is usually
(12:33):
off limits to the public. You have to have a
special private tour to visit this area. They have bars everywhere,
They have great food. The food this year, I have
to say, is incredible for Dark Harbor because it is
all being brought over by those that do Fairplex. The
food over for the Elle County Fair so really really
good across the board. Great cocktails also Magic of the
Jack of Lantern So you're looking for something that's definitely
(12:54):
family friendly. That is happening right now through the first
of November, and that will be taking place at South
Coast Botanic Garden, which is my favorite place in the
South Bay is in Palace vertis Estates and it's so
kind of out on the peninsula but it's so beautiful.
And then they if you're a member there, and this
is a huge encouragement if you remember there, you get
fifteen percent off admission to Magic of the Jack o
(13:17):
Lanterns plus starting I believe it's November first, dinosaurs from
around the world will be represented around the park. And
then they also have Astrolumina that'll be returning again for
the holiday season, which is really cool. I've got so
much else going on I can't even I kind of
again don't have my computer with me, so don't have
all my full notes, but specifically thinking of what I'm
(13:38):
up to this week, I've got a couple of things.
Delusion is happening in la That is from John Braver,
who is an incredible writer and director from Hollywood, and
it is a fully immersive experience. This year, it has
taken a Divergence because we've wrapped up the storyline that
Delusion had always had before. Delusion is an immersive experience
where you literally go in for two solid hours and
(14:01):
you are immersed in a event where you're moving through
a house and you're moving through a property. Last year
it was in downtown La. It has returned to Downtown
LA but a very different story because Dante's Inferno is
the backstory for it. So give you a little bit
of insight there. If you are not familiar with Dante's
Inferno of the book, it's worth checking out because a
few of the things it will be easier to understand.
(14:22):
But it's a really, really good time. And yeah, I
don't know. I've got so much more. I've got Brick
Retreat coming up at Lego Land and Carlsbad. I've also
got Hollow Scream, which happened in that Sea World all
the way through the first and then the Haunted Trail
at Balbo Park in San Diego. And then I'll be
doing a couple of things elsewhere out in Calabasas. They've
got a Knight of the Jack of the Jack, which
(14:42):
is incredible at one of the ranches there. So yeah,
so much more to bring you throughout the spooky season.
Speaker 3 (14:48):
You just proved.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
My wife was asking me to say, so, when are
we going to hang out with Nick? And his husband said, look,
I said, this is Nix Burke. He is doing something
every single day. It's true, It's very true. In fact,
what I'm going to try my very best. If you
follow me on socials, please do this weekend with Nick
and Nick Poliochini. I will be doing something i haven't
done in a few years, just because i have a
(15:10):
little bit more time on my hands right now. But
I'm going to try to give you a piece of
content every single day for things to do, So thirty
one days it used to be thirty one days a
Halloween teas in fact, which is funny. Right now, I'm
wearing a Los Angeles T shirt if you happen to
see it, with some bats and some webbing and everything else.
This was actually a fundraiser for the fire victims from
(15:31):
earlier this year, so you can even see on my sleeve,
I've got California with a heart.
Speaker 4 (15:34):
But I've got so many different Halloween outfits to show off.
But specifically going to try to bring you something for
Nicktoberfest every single day and a lot of the time.
You want to follow me specifically because I may have
some discount codes for you to be able to get
in that's a big thing, and then I'll hopefully be
bringing you some free tickets here on later.
Speaker 3 (15:50):
Mi Kelly, you said a lot, Nick, I did.
Speaker 4 (15:54):
I did say a lot, and I do plan on
having dinner with you and your wife, Nick.
Speaker 3 (15:58):
She's mad at you. You better hurry up.
Speaker 4 (16:00):
No, The funnier part isn't that I was like I
I specifically love her to death and h but I
feel like there, I think we have some things to do.
Speaker 3 (16:08):
I don't know. I know you guys are not bumping
the night kind of people, but.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
No, no, I'm getting ready to host the Blue Door
Bash for the Boys and Girls Club of Carson and
my wife saying, why don't you come along with us?
I say, he's busy every single night this month. Maybe
when I say this month October, but you know you
can catch it maybe in November.
Speaker 4 (16:28):
Yeah, oh absolutely, no, I mean this is my busiest
time of year. Because if you don't already know me,
and you haven't followed me on for years here on KFI,
it's Halloween, and then it goes immediately into the holidays
because I will bring you everything Christmas related because I'm
a little saint Nick as well, so uh, you know,
I've got it all. But I will always find a
way to make time for you and the wife, except
(16:48):
for next month. Well, no, next month, I will.
Speaker 3 (16:50):
I mean, I don't know about this.
Speaker 4 (16:53):
Sorry, I know that it is hallo, it's you know,
it's niktober Fest eve tonight the last day of September.
Speaker 3 (16:59):
Moving in October.
Speaker 4 (17:00):
Were But I will absolutely find a way to drag
you out to some some fun activity this month.
Speaker 3 (17:06):
But then we'll definitely get together next month. Sounds good.
So long as Mark Runner doesn't come, that's fine. Mark.
Did you eat anything? Yeah? I did.
Speaker 5 (17:13):
I've been kind of nibbling away at the fun Halloween food. No,
he had like two handfuls of that stuff. I had
some onion rings and one of the uh jack o'
lantern burgers with the with the black sesame seeds.
Speaker 4 (17:27):
Yes, yes, very good, Okay, I'm good. Nice, Thank you, Nick,
You're welcome. Where's your hat? I mean, whe's crown?
Speaker 3 (17:33):
Won't over the headphones? Well? Put it like. I love
that the two of us are where.
Speaker 4 (17:38):
If you are not following mister Mokelly and YouTube, you
definitely know it.
Speaker 3 (17:41):
Sam can do it.
Speaker 4 (17:42):
I've got it. Sam can do it earlier difficult.
Speaker 5 (17:45):
All you guys and your little maldeveloped fetal alcohol syndrome.
Speaker 4 (17:49):
Has this whole coneheads thing that you've been playing all
night long, sir, if you don't see, and I'm going
to be straight up bonus as well, I am on
the very last rung on the crown to get around
my fat head, so it is possible to do without
a question.
Speaker 5 (18:04):
I'll put more effort into please do. Yes, I think
I'll readjust mine.
Speaker 4 (18:08):
You should like I just threw it on five for everybody,
but like, I got a fattle head and I'm trying
to fit on my obscura Long Beach ball calf. I'll
talk to you about that coming up here soon. That's
a really cool way to check out some of the
craft Bruis and Long Beach pretty.
Speaker 3 (18:21):
Much everything I'd like. Oh, I could talk about this,
and I can talk about that. Like you said, I
talk a lot.
Speaker 4 (18:25):
It looks really good. I like it, and I think
that characters are really fun sexy. Yes, Marcus jealous, I
know I don't know. Not everyone can wear this like me.
Speaker 1 (18:38):
You're listening to Later with Moe Kelly on demand from
KFI AM six forty.
Speaker 2 (19:09):
KAFI Later with mo Kelly Live on YouTube and the
iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 3 (19:14):
Just some programming information.
Speaker 2 (19:16):
We've got a couple of speaking gigs that are out
of town on the East Coast that I'm going to
be doing this week. So I will be out on
Thursday and Friday. I don't know who's going to be
in the share, but it won't be me, but we
will be giving away these family four pack of tickets
to Disneyland Disney California Adventure tomorrow on the show. I
(19:40):
will tell you that tomorrow will be giving away our
Disney four pack to a lucky winner, so you can
plan for that. And there was something else who are
going to be giving away. I can't remember it, but
I'll remember at some point. But we're giving away a
lot of cool things. I'll be out on Thursday and Friday.
Will do the Disney four pack on Wednesday, and I
(20:06):
think it's next week, Oh yeah, it's probably.
Speaker 3 (20:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (20:08):
Next week we'll be going back to the Alamo Draft House.
Dt LA will be giving way passes for that as well,
so and I think tomorrow you can catch me on
Spectrum News SoCal at six thirty am. It's going to
feel like tonight as far as I'm concerned, to go
to sleep and wake up four seconds later and get
(20:31):
over to Spectrum News. We'll be talking about, obviously, the shutdown.
You've heard Mark Ronner talk about how it's officially underway
and what we should expect in the coming hours, days,
or weeks. There's no telling how long it may last,
given given the log jam in in Washington, DC and
(20:53):
how our government can't seem to agree on anything at all,
including funding the government. So I would expect this to
go on probably for a few days. I don't know
if it's going to go on too long, but it
will be going on at least for the end of
the week, to the end of the week, I believe.
Starting tonight, we know that the Democrats had their senators
(21:16):
in Washington, d C. The Republicans did not, which says
to me that there probably won't be any real negotiating
for the rest of this week and maybe into next week.
But we'll see where it ends up at the end
of this week. But I'll be talking about this on
Spectrum News tomorrow at six thirty am. If you happen
to be up, you happen to be up nights and early,
(21:39):
you can start off the morning with me and Nick.
Speaker 3 (21:43):
You're still here, Nick, Yeah, the funny parts. I was
gonna say.
Speaker 4 (21:47):
You can probably also if you could just see what
was going on with my camera. I suppose I'm sitting
here filming and doing all that stuff. But you can
also if you don't want to be up at six
thirty I'm sure you can always you know, what is it.
We don't have TiVo or not tvo. We don't what
TiVo still exists. I mean you can you can dr Yeah,
it's worth TVR and that's what I was trying to
(22:08):
think of.
Speaker 2 (22:08):
So yeah, I'll all look half asleep, but you know,
it's okay. It's the life I chose, And sometimes I wonder,
I'm just impressed, really want to do that.
Speaker 4 (22:16):
Anybody that's dedicated that'll go to bed with you and
then come wake up with you in the morning, that's incredible. Well,
I do know, luhad, so there's only one person that
goes to bed with you.
Speaker 2 (22:25):
Actually, I have that perfect example of a person who
really means it when you ask me. In other words,
when Spectrum called said, hey, Mo, do you want to
do commentary with us tomorrow morning? We need you here
at the studio at sixteen am. And at the time
they asked me, this was about maybe eleven am, something
like yeah.
Speaker 3 (22:43):
I'm away for sure, absolutely, why not?
Speaker 2 (22:45):
And then you realize, wait a minute, I'm not going
to get home until at least eleven thirty.
Speaker 3 (22:50):
Brush my teeth, put in my retainer.
Speaker 4 (22:53):
I mean, this takes me back to the days when
I was working and a half to mornings here.
Speaker 3 (22:57):
Yeah, yeah, no, no, I feel you.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
And what people don't know or realize is is not
being up.
Speaker 3 (23:03):
You have to be on, You have to be alert, You.
Speaker 4 (23:08):
Have to be ready to process information, especially topographically of
what you're going to be addressing and whatever the correct
what early and more stuff will come in overnight, of course,
but yes.
Speaker 3 (23:17):
Specific walk in and say hey, what's going on? No,
that's what we have right here. No, that's true.
Speaker 2 (23:21):
And that's the hardest part of what I do. Yes,
always being ready for questions that I don't know where
they're coming from, and everything changes every five to ten minutes.
Speaker 3 (23:33):
Boy, that's the truth.
Speaker 4 (23:34):
And especially when you're doing it live, I think, and
then we do it live here on KFI, you'll be
doing it live on Spectrum, but really being able to
bring you that up to the minute information, but also
specifically being able to make sure that it's valid, accurate,
fact checked, get all the details there to really be
able to round out the story.
Speaker 2 (23:51):
Well, here's what I do, which I think is different
from most talking heads.
Speaker 3 (23:55):
As it were. I'm trying to give analysis.
Speaker 2 (23:58):
I'm trying to say, hey, this is what is happening
right now, this is why I think it's happening. This
might be some of the implications of what will happen
because of what's happening now. I'm not there to say
yay Democrats, YAE Republicans, or you know so and so
is doing well. If the analysis should lead to that,
(24:20):
then that's what I'm going to say. I'm not going
to be the person who you always know what I'm
going to say. Right there are certain personalities you can
turn on and you know exactly where they're going to
land on an issue every single time. Every single time,
(24:40):
it's like clockwork. You know the sun's coming up tomorrow. Oh,
that's the Republican's fault.
Speaker 4 (24:46):
No, you're correct on that one hundred percent. I think
that's the thing that really does set you apart. I
think in the time we've known each other for years,
but we've really worked it closely with each other over
last three and in that time period, I've come to
really appreciate your informative nature.
Speaker 3 (25:03):
I think is really what is good.
Speaker 4 (25:04):
Again, like you just said, you may walk into the
situation thinking not sharing with us, but thinking that you're
going to go down one path, but the facts will
take you down a different path. And I think that's
hugely important. I think that's something that a lot of
times people kind of lose.
Speaker 2 (25:19):
I try to show my math, Oh that makes sense,
and I try to say, hey, you know I got here,
but here's how I got here. If I think that, hey,
the Republican's gonna really benefit for this, or they're gonna
have to pay a price for it, I will use
history as shown you know, coming up with the midterms, X, Y,
and Z. This is why I came to this conclusion.
I'm not trying to get anybody elected, because you know what,
(25:40):
I don't.
Speaker 3 (25:40):
Want any of their stink on me. I don't blame
you in any way, shape.
Speaker 6 (25:43):
Or for him.
Speaker 2 (25:44):
That's why I don't endorse candidates, because ultimately they're going
to do something that I don't agree with, and I
don't want to have to refer back to an endorsement. Correct, well,
can you endorse that person? That's why I don't endorse candidates.
And I have never told anyone what to vote for.
Us far as a proposition, we will eventually get into
Prop fifty in that kind of thing, but it's not
(26:05):
me to tell you how to vote. It's like, how
am I going to tell you what's most important for
you in your household? I can tell you certain things
that you may not have considered which may impact your decision,
and I can tell you it's like, hey, this is
what I think is the most important takeaway.
Speaker 3 (26:22):
But other than that, do you do you?
Speaker 2 (26:25):
No, that sounds right, Mark, I would tell what to
do because he needs a little bit of a guy
in the structure.
Speaker 4 (26:31):
Yeah, but he doesn't even put on the crown when
we need him to do it.
Speaker 2 (26:35):
Look, if everyone else has the crown on, you would
think Marc said, well, let me just go ahead and
be a team player and put on the crown like
everyone else, but no shirt.
Speaker 3 (26:44):
No, no, I took the crown for a test drive.
Let's be fair here.
Speaker 4 (26:46):
You know you did a long time ago, right just
to get your food. I love and I had to
say this show loves you, Mark, and obviously everybody in
the moment goes chat love you. But yeah, the women
really love you, right, Oh yeah, they want a calendar
of you. Interesting, they want a magic Mark calendar. You
know what's funny is I was thinking back to the
(27:07):
KFC conversation earlier. We can do a whole like Chippendale's
esque Mark Ronner calendar. Okay, can you wear the Burger
King crown while doing that? Well, he can, but it'll
be it'll be blocking something else more than the crown.
The crown only, I mean you can. I don't know,
see prudent if you're following us on YouTube right now,
mister mo Kelly, one of these things does not belong here.
(27:29):
Like you've got three crowns and a note because he's
just not a team player.
Speaker 3 (27:35):
Look at you three pop he's Oh no, I said it.
Speaker 2 (27:41):
Let's check in with George nor when we come back KF.
I am six forty. He would wear a crown if
we asked. I bet he would ask him. Okay, we
will okay live everywhere on YouTube and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 1 (27:50):
You're listening to Later with Mo Kelly on demand from
KFI AM six forty KFI Later.
Speaker 2 (27:57):
With Mo Kelly Live everywhere in the iHeart Radio app
and YouTube. Let's check in with George Nori Coast to
Coast AM and see what's on the show tonight.
Speaker 6 (28:05):
Hey George, what's going on tonight? Mo? We're going to
do some of the news of the day. The government
is shut down. We're going to talk about your health
one of the folks at Criticalhealthnews dot com, and your
soul and what happens when you pass on.
Speaker 3 (28:19):
I would like to know, so thank you for doing that.
Speaker 6 (28:22):
Give you the answer, Hey.
Speaker 2 (28:23):
George, if we asked you to wear a Burger King
hat on camera.
Speaker 3 (28:28):
Would you do it for us? For you? Okay?
Speaker 2 (28:32):
Because I'm doing it right now and everyone in the
studio is doing except for Mark Runner, and we knew
that you would also join us, but Mark won't.
Speaker 3 (28:39):
Thanks for shaming me, George.
Speaker 6 (28:43):
Did I know Marky?
Speaker 3 (28:48):
I give up? Bye, George, I know you got a
show to do. Niner Niner, Niner Runner that was great.
Speaker 5 (29:00):
What do you want from me? He just got poned?
W d oh wait, hold on, what do you look for?
The camera?
Speaker 6 (29:11):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (29:11):
The camera is it's Daniel needs to come save the camera. Yeah,
it's a I and sometimes he gets locked on something
which is not the person.
Speaker 4 (29:21):
I looked up and I was like, oh, you can
hear me, but you can't see me. Yep, yep, it's fine.
Charge is such a good sport here not talking about
anything sexual. That's true. He doesn't want any part of
that conversation at all.
Speaker 5 (29:34):
No, no, I heard him scold somebody for using a
questionable word last night too, and I always enjoyed that.
Speaker 2 (29:40):
No, no, no, I know he will scold on occasion, so
I try to stay out of his wrath.
Speaker 3 (29:46):
I don't it makes you feel like I'm twelve again.
Speaker 5 (29:49):
Yeah, don't say that one word. There are a few
of them. Well, don't say any of them. Just don't
say any of them.
Speaker 3 (29:56):
I know.
Speaker 5 (29:56):
Look, I felt uncomfortable when he was scolding you. Was
that a school or just a mockery? Oh it was
a scockery, a scotchary. Was it just naked contemptary? It
is a little bit of all of that. Okay, all right.
You know, well, I'll take it from him because I've
been a Coast listener for most of my life.
Speaker 2 (30:14):
No, he's earned that latitude. You know, he can say
whatever he wants about me. That's the George Nori.
Speaker 5 (30:22):
I was a Coast listener way back in the art
Bell Daze too, do me both, Yeah, you be both.
Speaker 2 (30:26):
Let mean, I always talk about my love of the
UFO topic. That's straight out of Coast to Coast. Absolutely,
you're talking thirty forty years ago. There was no forum,
there was no TV show, There was no place to
get the latest or have those discussions, with the exception
of Coast to Coast.
Speaker 5 (30:45):
Am, I'm just saying, let's say, for instance, you're playing
a video game all night, Hypothetically, Hypothetically, that's a good
thing to have on in the background.
Speaker 3 (30:54):
No, it was.
Speaker 2 (30:54):
It was one of the few pieces of entertainment that
you could get late at night, well into the more
because TV back in the day had gone off or
there wasn't a lot for younger people when I was
back being a younger person to watch on TV or
cable other than the squiggly line on on TV.
Speaker 5 (31:14):
Do you know where your children are Yeah, if anybody
who was programmed, who was hardwired with Kulshak, The night
Stalker and shows like that, all the night Stalker, all
that paranormal stuff is night Gallery.
Speaker 3 (31:27):
Love the Night Gallery.
Speaker 5 (31:28):
I just I got for Christmas that huge night gallery
doorstop of a book called After Hours Tour, and you
could club somebody unconscious with it very easily.
Speaker 2 (31:37):
I thought Night Gallery was so underappreciated. I know it
was not the Twilight Zone, but it was still underappreciated.
Speaker 5 (31:45):
Well, it was very hit and miss because Serling didn't
have the same kind of control over it that he
did over the Twilight Zone, but it was still it
was Serling and you love him no matter what he does.
And the good ones, like the one with Lawrence Harvey
and the Earwig, those were really good. There were some
kind of lousy I was about to use one of
the words George doesn't like. But there are some lousy ones,
but it all balances out and at this point it's
(32:06):
it's comfort viewing.
Speaker 2 (32:07):
I remember watching it as a kid and scaring myself
where I couldn't go to sleep and I had to sleep.
Speaker 3 (32:11):
With the lights on.
Speaker 5 (32:12):
Well, because even the opening credits are a little uh
it'll make you uneasy if.
Speaker 3 (32:17):
You're a kid.
Speaker 2 (32:18):
Yes, yes, And I don't know why I kept doing
it till myself It's like, why are you watching this
when you know you're not gonna be.
Speaker 3 (32:24):
Able to sleep? But sure enough, No, I love that show.
Speaker 5 (32:28):
I love all the weird stuff that has always been
featured on Coast. And we'll just admit right now that
I've never been normal. No, you're never You're never going to.
Let's not waste everybody's time pretending.
Speaker 2 (32:41):
Tomorrow, Disney four pack coming your way. We'll talk to
you thenky if I am six forty eleven everywey, I
