Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's KFI AM sixty and you're listening to the Conway
Show on demand on the iHeartRadio appf IM six forty.
It's Conway Show. It is going to rain, they say
around six o'clock, we'll get the heavy stuff all the
way through the evening, throughout the night, early into tomorrow morning.
Depending on where you are. The big thick, heavy sort

(00:23):
of belly are described as car wash style, which I
think is a great analogy that it's going to start
hitting around six for some areas throughout the evening and
then all night tonight. You'll hear it while you're sleeping.
It'll wake you up, it'll freak you out. If you're
in the Burns Scar area, you'll enjoy it. If you're not.
If you're in the La River, you got to get out.

(00:45):
If you live in a storm drain, like we have
this story this week, guy lives in the drain. Guy
lives in a drain. Drain. He's living in a drain,
and he has got to keep his eye on the
weather because that's where the first place that all the
rain goes is right into the gutter and then right

(01:06):
into his living room. He's living in the drain. And
Bellio before we get to Alex Stone. Here, Bellio was
sort of snobbish where she said she wouldn't even date
the guy no matter what he was like, you know,
how nice he was, or what its family history was, or.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Went into all those qualifiers. Yeah, I don't remember.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Well, I don't know you were you said, no, if
you would not date a guy who's living in a.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Drain, would you date a woman living in a drain?

Speaker 1 (01:30):
You know what, I'll be honest with you. It would
depend on how hot she was.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
I believe that to be true.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
It's one hundred percent as any guy, any guy she
gets out of there sports illustrated style, bingo.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Missus c See, women aren't as shallow, that's right, right,
that's right, So I need I need him to bring
something else to the to the table.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
All right, But you described shallow as a negative. I
think it's a positive. The most the happiest people I
know are the shallowest people I know. The most miserable
people I know are the smartest and the wealthiest.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
Is that like the ignorance is bliss?

Speaker 1 (02:08):
Yeah, exactly, exactly, exactly, all right, Alex Stone speaking of
bright guys is with us? How you bought from ABC News.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
You know she would date him. Come out of that drain.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
She's not into the guy.

Speaker 5 (02:22):
So you're saying evacuating the drains tonight. Huh, you got
to evacuate the drain. You gotta get out of the
La River. You've got to get.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Out, you know, I mean, it's going to be a river,
and you live in the river.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
I get that almost people live in there.

Speaker 5 (02:34):
But when the like random cars end up in there
during a storm, You're like, how did that? If it
wasn't in there before the rain had, why is it
in there?

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Do you remember that story they did? They were looking
for something in the aqueduct. They thought maybe somebody had
thrown a safe into the aqueduct, and so they put
divers down there and they came up with thirty two
cars in the acquitrazy. Remember then it was just you know,
car after car, because everybody who is behind on their
payments or wants that, you know, an ensure Surran's check.
You know, once a package, they throw their car into

(03:05):
the aqueduct and that all of a sudden they get
a big check.

Speaker 5 (03:08):
Isn't that like Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam where
they found the body and the barrel, and they see
they say, like all kinds of cars are there and
everything else.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Well, you know, do you remember when you were a kid,
the palm buzzer you'd wind it up and shake somebody's
hand and go and flip somebody out. Well, they use
those for a while in horse racing because if you
put that on the horse's neck, it freaks out and
he takes off like Secretariat. But it's illegal. So they
drained the I think it was a Belmont. They drained

(03:37):
the pond in the middle of the of the racetrack
in Belmont. They had thirty two thousand of those things
in the pond. Yeah, so people are always cheating the system.
You get really buzzed by those things. Yeah. Hey, I'm
a big fan of Southwest Airlines. They I've only been
dradically screwed over by him once, which is sort of
you know, to me, that's the home run. But I'd

(03:58):
like them because you could change and they don't screw
you with change fees and luggage fees. And now they're
going to become like everybody else.

Speaker 5 (04:05):
Yeah, and you know, we chat a little bit about
it last night, and now we're learning more about it,
and this has really been the talk of the travel
world last twenty four hours, this whole getting rid of
the bags fly free and we knew that they were
going to begin assigning seats, but they announced yesterday that
the flight credits a yearn when you cancel a flight,
they're only going to be good for a year.

Speaker 4 (04:21):
And now they're adding the.

Speaker 5 (04:23):
Extra lag room, the not quite first class but but
more leg room up front, and now the bag fees
on top of it. They are really becoming any other
airline because consumers have shown that's what they want. That
they say that there is only a very small slice
passengers who want the open seating and everything that Southwest
has been offering, and that there's a whole world out
there that wants it, like United or like Delta American.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
We're hearing from the CEO now over at Southwest.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
He said this, it's about securing our future.

Speaker 6 (04:50):
We're announcing changes to our business that will help us
return to the levels of profitability we all expect and
to support our collective long term success.

Speaker 5 (04:59):
So here's the coming out of the pandemic. People have
had a lot of money and desire to travel, and
they have gone and said they want first class, they
want better on board service, they wanted to be more
comfortable that they wanted to and they've just been booming
over at United Delta and American. Southwest has had a
rough go over the last couple of years. Spirit came
out of bankruptcy today. They went bankrupt after their failed

(05:21):
merger with Jed Blue. They've been hurting Frontier, has been
hurting the low cost and ultra low cost carriers. That
model has not worked in the new era. Now the
caveat to all of this is going to be that
those United Delta and American Airlines came out yesterday and
said that the bookings are falling off a cliff right
now because of a certainty about the economy moving forward

(05:42):
and people worried about plane crashes. So now all of
a sudden they're seeing a downturn in air travel coming up.
So will people then want to go back to what
Southwest was? Where go in the cheaper model, and maybe
there will be kind of a jump back, you know,
like when gas prices are low and everybody goes for
big trucks, and then as prices go high and people
go to preas, you know, will they go back, so

(06:04):
Spirit they've dealt with it. Southwest they're saying to move
forward and to do well, that they've got to get
in line with the bigger legacy carriers. And Robert Jordan,
the CEO, added this.

Speaker 6 (06:12):
Our DNA isn't open seating or even bags fly free
as an edication to service and hospitality and to the
golden rule for each other and for our customers.

Speaker 5 (06:23):
I think a lot of Southwest diehards would say the
DNA is the free bags, the building seating, but they
say it's not. Even last fall when they were making changes,
Southwest emailed its customers saying, but don't worry, bags fly
free is here to stay. That that's something that you
count on with us, and they're getting rid of it now.
But so you got some passengers who are saying, look,
we like the relaxed onboard style, the relaxed uniforms.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
It's chill. They'll stick with them. Others like this lady
san Noa.

Speaker 5 (06:48):
I'll find the cheapest airline if they're charging for fuggish
like the others.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
So she says that if there's a cheaper airline, to
just go over there.

Speaker 5 (06:55):
And a lot of people are saying that as well,
so what the fees are going to be there, still
working on that.

Speaker 4 (07:01):
It's going to be made that they go into effect.

Speaker 5 (07:02):
If you have a credit card, a Southwest credit card,
you'll get one bag for free. If you're an ables
delete you'll get two bags. So they're still a way
around it. You remember, you're old enough. I know you
try to fudge your age over there at ABC, but
you're old enough. Three do you remember you remember the
front seats that Southwest used to face backwards?

Speaker 4 (07:18):
Yes, on the old seven twenty seven right, yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
And before and those were before cell phones, so you
had If you've done a magazine, you're staring at a
guy for two hours.

Speaker 5 (07:25):
That was always weird. Yeah, you hope it's a family
sitting there. That's right, buddy.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
Thanks for coming on. Go Dodgers. They're going to be
playing their opener in Japan. I don't know if you're
going your.

Speaker 4 (07:35):
Dogs.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
Why don't you go you're with ABC, just say hey,
send me over there and I'll cover it.

Speaker 5 (07:39):
Why not let's go together, buddy, Thanks for coming on.
Belly Oh, good luck with the guy in the sewer.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
Alex belly O and the sewer guy man? Is it nice?
Would have call him the sewer guy or the drain guy.
I don't know, I don't know what he prefers. Probably
a drain, drain, the drain, and it seems, you know,
I don't know if that's rock bottom, seems like it

(08:08):
seems like it. I don't know where else. You know
what you can Hi, you limbo under that as your address.
But we see it all the time. Man, people are
living everywhere. It's crazy world, fed up world. It is
so expensive to live in California that people are living
in a drain. That's our fault, all of us. We

(08:28):
all have not made enough noise about how expensive it
is to live in this stupid state. It's off the charts.

Speaker 7 (08:37):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from KFI
AM six forty.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
The weather. If you live in the Palisades or out
in Altadena that area, you have got to be aware
of the weather. Or if you live in a drain,
you got to be aware of the weather. Oh hey,
here's an update we did.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
I did the story at the top of the hour
about SpaceX with the launch that we're supposed to ta
place later on this hour.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
It's been scrubbed. YEP. It was one last night. You
see last one last night. I did not see the
one last night. I looked at it for a little
bit and then I got bored, and I have moved on,
moved on.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
So again a reminder that the blast off that should
have happened, or the launch tonight, was supposed to have
taken the crew to the International Space and then eventually
bring back the two that have been stuck up there. Right,
but the launch window, the next launch window is Thursday tomorrow,
I suppose. Okay, that's cool.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
For some reason for me to think about it. Yeah,
all right, if you live in Alta Dina evacuation orders warnings,
the Eaton burned scar area, you got to be aware
of this.

Speaker 8 (09:49):
As a strong stom moves through Sokel. Evacuation warnings and
orders are in place for Sierra Maudri. City leaders are
warning residents to Braceport potential mudslides and to brief flow.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
I can notice the sound is louder. Yeah, so yeah,
that's definitely greater floo.

Speaker 8 (10:07):
You know, the water during a news conference this morning.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
I knocked it out. You noticed there was louder, And
the louder the water, the more the water. I can
notice the sound is louder. Okay, he's got good ears.

Speaker 9 (10:20):
So yeah, that's definitely greater flow.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
You know the water, he nailed it, brilliant. Yeah, Jesus
gay and talking to uh, you know, walls.

Speaker 8 (10:35):
During a news conference this morning, the county said they
have been working to make sure there is enough capacity
in the debris basins to handle the storm, especially after
it build up last month.

Speaker 10 (10:45):
So there will be some flows that we see from
Sierra Madre Dam that come over what we call our spillway,
end up in the channels down below and convey those
flows into the San Gabril complex. But we do not
have any facilities, the county maintains that is not are
not ready for this event. They are already to have capacity.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
Oh that's good, okay, So the La County is ready
for the mud debris and the water flow and the
rising volume of the water.

Speaker 8 (11:09):
For those who are impacted by this storm. In emergency
shelter has been set up at the ymcaight in Sierra Madre.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
Do you hear that? If you need shelter YMCA in
Sierra Modre.

Speaker 8 (11:20):
The emergency shelter has been set up at the YMCA
in Sierra Madre Police stress the importance of heating these
evacuation orders. Sandbags are also available for residents at the
city yard near Sierra Madri Boulevard.

Speaker 11 (11:32):
Our teams remain committed to working quickly and safely to
complete wildfire debris removal. We appreciate the community's continued patients
and cooperation as we move forward with these critical recovery efforts.

Speaker 8 (11:46):
Now, these evacuation warnings and orders will remain in place
until tomorrow at six pm, but that could change as
the storm moves through.

Speaker 1 (11:53):
Okay, so that's the eaton scar, burned Scar. Now let's
go to Palisades find out what's going on at the Palisades.

Speaker 12 (12:03):
Drone video shows the breathtaking views of the Pacific Palisades Bowl,
a mobile home community right across from will Rogers Beach.
That tragic day in January, everything changed.

Speaker 9 (12:16):
It's on fire from outside, bro, We're lit up all
around us.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
We gotta get out of here.

Speaker 12 (12:20):
The fire made its way to PCH. Neighbors work together
to try and stop the fire, but as we all know,
the fire was too powerful. All one hundred and seventy
homes gone. This is the aftermath.

Speaker 13 (12:36):
This was our deck. We built this like really cool deck.

Speaker 12 (12:39):
That's John Brown, his wife and two kids have called
the Palisades Bowl home for over a decade.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
And the Palisades Bowl is that where That's where the
mobile home park is. Is that what it is? The
Malibu the Palisades Bowl, I guess that's what it is.

Speaker 13 (12:52):
This was our pool. My god, they're just and they're
just like, I mean.

Speaker 12 (12:56):
He brought me here to show me what's left or thereof.

Speaker 13 (13:01):
I don't want any of this. I don't want any
of it, you know, like we don't want memories of it.

Speaker 12 (13:09):
And two months later, it still looks the same, John says,
Despite urgent pleas from residents, Phase one cleanup from the
EPA remains incomplete, leaving toxic waste and hazardous material on
the property.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
You know, I got to say the guys, you know,
there are different levels of mobile home parks in this world.
That is a high end one. That one out the Palisades.
There's one another one in Malibu out near is it
Paradise Cove. I think it's Paradise Cove. There's a there's
a beautiful one out there. I don't even know why
they call it a mobile home park. Every one of

(13:44):
those homes is like two million dollars, and those are
beautiful mobile home parks. And this guy who they're talking
to on the news here, he had something I'd never
seen before in my life. In the backyard of his
mobile home. He hit a pool. I've never seen that before.
I've never seen a mobile home park and a guy

(14:07):
has his own pool. That guy was knocking it out
and it all disappeared last two months ago.

Speaker 12 (14:13):
John says the EPA was denied access to the property.
There's even a security guard manning the entrance twenty four
to seven and only residents who sign a waiver can
get in.

Speaker 13 (14:23):
The EPA is telling us that they've been denied access
to come in here and remove the toxic and hazardous material.
That was a governor executive order that doesn't require permission.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
What a pain in the ass to have. You know,
you live in this park, all your neighbors. If you've
never lived or been in a mobile home park, everybody
in the park knows everybody. It's a very tight community.
And you know there's there's ones up in Oregon in
Washington where the cops are always there. This is not
one of those. This is a high end one where

(14:57):
everybody knew each other, areas making a decent living, and
they had a view of the ocean from their home.

Speaker 12 (15:02):
This was a cool hank John blame Z owners and management.
He says they have been unresponsive and uncooperative. I looked
at the Palisades Bowl on the Southern California Wildfire Response
website and it shows the area was defer to Phase two.
That means physical hazards exist on their property that prevent

(15:24):
US EP eight teams from safely accessing the property to
remove the household hazardous materials. But when you check the
US Army Corps of Engineer's website.

Speaker 1 (15:33):
Oh what a pain in the ass to go from
one agency to another to another and nobody's talking to
each other. This is crazy.

Speaker 12 (15:40):
But when you check the US Army Corps of Engineer's website,
the group responsible for the cleanup, it says EPA Phase
one status permission denied.

Speaker 1 (15:49):
Oh it's unbelievable. All right, welcome back. I think Jojo
is going to be with us. Jojo Wright. That's a
cool dude. And yeah, well we'll talk to him. He's
on Kiss FM, Is that right?

Speaker 12 (15:59):
Ooh?

Speaker 1 (16:00):
After the guy on Kiss FM, Jojo, Right, we'll talk
about Wango Tango.

Speaker 7 (16:05):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from KFI
AM six forty.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
From Kiss FM. Jojo, right, how you bob? Yeah, let's
turn his mic up there? How about that? There we go, Okay,
there we go, perfect, we turn this one. The fake
one off? Got me? Good for you. It's always day
one around here, you know, but sorry, what the hell,

(16:34):
We'll eventually get it.

Speaker 9 (16:35):
I see Tim walking on the street every day. I'll leave,
not every day, but i'll see like you walk in,
you know, do you walk out of the building then
back into the.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
Garage or you don't. I walk out of the back
of the building to get a sense of what the
freeways like, Oh, that's what you do.

Speaker 9 (16:47):
I'm like, why is he out here? Because I know
I think he must park in the garage. But I
see you walking down, Like what is kyway up to?

Speaker 1 (16:52):
Yeah? So I walk out, and I like going to
either Walmart or Target or Costco or something, and I
get a vibe of how the freeway is doing the
one four when I walk out some plus it's nights,
it gets get out there and gets smog and dust
and you know, debris and crap in your feel off
la that's right. Yeah. If you see the if you
see the one thirty four, it's just crazy. What do

(17:13):
you do? Do you spend? Do you like relax and
stay stay here a little long. I'll avoid the freeways
and go to my local stores. But I go to
the stores almost every night. I'm like I'm addicted to
Sometimes I don't even buy anything and just go and look.

Speaker 3 (17:25):
You know.

Speaker 1 (17:26):
I'd like to say, like, like Target, Target, Walmart, Home
Depot lows.

Speaker 9 (17:31):
You're lying because if you go into Target, you cannot
go into Target without buying some Well that's how they.

Speaker 1 (17:36):
Get I go with my wife, my daughter. I can't
get out of there for less than one hundred bucks.
Everything's one hundred bucks. Yeah, everything car could be half
full or completely full, one hundred dollars Starbucks, hundred bucks exactly.
Oh my god. We're live on Instagram. Okay, so you
can go to Instagram at Conway Show, Hello, I g yeah,
there you go. All right, So Wango Tango took two

(17:58):
years off, right, and now you guys are back. I'm pumped.

Speaker 9 (18:01):
We were kind of bombed behind the scenes the last
couple of years when it didn't happen. We're thinking, man,
you know, it was just one of a It became
a thing for us in for southern California. Wango Tang
is such a big show, huge, and we took a
couple of years off I think the first year. Not
to get too into it, but if you want the backstory,
this is kfi AM six forty. You guys wanted to scoop.
But the first year I think it was after COVID.

(18:22):
You know, all the artists basically you know, went because
they lost their livelihood as far as touring as the
main source of income for a lot of them, and
then they all went on tour. So all the dates
just conflicted with you know, with Wayne Gotangle last year.
The second year, I have no idea why. Who knows
it's back this year, but we thought we'd do something
different and we're doing it on the beach, which we've
never done that on the actual beach.

Speaker 1 (18:44):
So that's cool, pretty cool. That's at the Huntington City Beach, right,
Huntington City Beach. Saturday, May tenth is the is the
date of the show. And I can get I can
run down the lineup or you can shoot Oh good, Yeah,
let's do it. Yeah, let's go run run down.

Speaker 9 (18:56):
This storry Doji Cats performing you know Megan train is
all on one night, All in one night, Okay, Saturday,
May ten, Saturday May ten, Doja Cat Megan trainer David Getta.

Speaker 1 (19:06):
Wow. Yeah.

Speaker 9 (19:07):
Gwen Stefani performing at Sunset So picture you know Gwen,
you know, the Queen of OC from Orange County, from
Orange County, in Orange County, Huntington City Beach, you know,
right about Sunset on the Beach. I mean, I don't
think many things can get better than that. And they're
doing uh, extended sets. Sometimes you go to these festivals,
they do these really short sets and we've done them
before like that too, just you know, but this one

(19:29):
we thought, let's do, you know, let's get these artists
some extended sets. So if you're buying these tickets, you
get like a nice chunk of music from you know,
whoever your favorite tested. So they're doing some extended sets. Also.
Also Katsai I don't you know Katsie, but there they'd
be considered a global pop group. They're big in the
K pop fandoms, but they are global pop, not K
pop if you love k pop, which is I do
a lot of K pop interviews. Cychers which is x

(19:50):
I K E r S, but cickers how you pronounce it,
from China. These groups I'm gonna mention here are from
a Korea. Cyckers from Korea, n Mixed from Korea, Hearts
to Heart, a young group from Korea, then a tow
o May they're from China.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
Yeah, they're gonna be talking.

Speaker 9 (20:05):
I'm talking to A two o A recording an interview
behind the scenes at about five o'clock on them, just
so you know. But they are, They're gonna kick off
the show and it's just gonna be just a scene.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
I mean, everybody's really gonna be great. Uh.

Speaker 9 (20:17):
And tickets going So this is a big deal here,
and we're gonna give you some tickets to give away too,
if you were like their kindly. Kiss Club VIP pre

(20:40):
Then the general on sale Friday ten am, so the
next couple of days. If you want these tickets, this
is the best time to get them.

Speaker 1 (20:45):
And what time? Jojo writes with us from Kiss FM.
What time does it start on May tenths? You know,
God the question.

Speaker 4 (20:51):
I don't know.

Speaker 9 (20:52):
I think it's gonna be ten to eleven noons, a
full day. Yeah, we'll have the village out there, a
lot of things to do before the show starts.

Speaker 1 (20:59):
We even have ferris wheel. If you have a ferris wheel,
that you're coolest.

Speaker 13 (21:03):
You know.

Speaker 1 (21:03):
We went to the iHeart Festival about about six or
seven years ago, and it was in Vegas where they
had an outdoor arena and then the indoor and my
wife and daughters said. They went there with my wife,
my daughter, my daughter's friend. They took him all there.
They wanted to see Billie Eilish, oh and Billy Irish.

Speaker 11 (21:22):
You know.

Speaker 1 (21:22):
Eilish was one huge thing. You just think she's still huge.
But and I said, what time does she go on?
And they said she goes on at nine thirty in
the morning. And I said, Jesus, was that right? I said,
that seems early. So everyone gets up at seven we
have breakfast. I didn't go to bed, you know, I'm
still up for the night before. We walked down there.
We're the first one's in and I said, hey, what

(21:44):
time does Billie Eilish go on? He goes around six
thirty or seven a night. Great, I'm glad the whole time. Wait,
they stayed. They stayed because they were gonna. It was
one hundred and ten degrees out, but they wanted to
see all the bands. I went to Circus, Circus and
Game Bold for I don't know n nine hours broke
by the but they stayed and they enjoyed it. They

(22:08):
loved that. And then last year I took my daughter
and her friend to the the you know, the big
festival in in Vegas at the T Mobile Arena. Yeah,
that was great. It's a lot of fun. I will say,
the uh, the the village. You know that you went
to the build a nine hour village. Wait, it's man,
and I don't think we did. We didn't do the
village last year in Vegas.

Speaker 9 (22:27):
It's a great idea, it's but it's so hot in
Vegas and it's on that one point it was on
the asphalt out there. Oh, my god, I was sweating,
like some of the artists were. I won't say who,
but some of the artist it was so hot. Some
of the artists were thrown up. Back to my god,
is that right?

Speaker 1 (22:41):
The village in Vegas.

Speaker 9 (22:43):
At one point I was backstage and uh, there's a
group called Big Time Rush.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
I don't know if you know. The teacher good friends
with them.

Speaker 9 (22:49):
We're backstage and they're about to go on stage, and
and their mom there, I think Logan's mom and their
girlfriends and whatnot. They're like, Hey, we're gonna go get
some food at this Mexican restaurant down the street. You
want to, I'm with us. I'm like, hell yeah, I
left the guys at that you guys do your show.
I'm going with your family to eat some food. It's
too hot now that I think about it.

Speaker 1 (23:07):
My wife did throw up at that event, but not
until I told her how much I lost the Circus Circus.
Then she lost it. But that's gonna be huge, and
I'm glad that it's back. May tenth is right around
the corner. Tickets go on sale at the Kiss Club

seen Rick He doesn't talk about it, Rick, Yeah, I saw.

ranch in Kentucky, right and he would say he did
a he had him recreate his studio here in Kentucky,
and he'd always say, like, Jojo my studio. Never I
don't know if he was serious or not, but I
never attempted to take him up.

Speaker 1 (24:31):
I text him, I'd say maybe three or four times
a week. And every time I get a text from
Rick D's, you know, because I grew up listening to him. Yeah,
you know, every single day for four hours. And I'm
amazed that he is texting Hi, I'm like, this is
the Rick D's, the real Rick D. Five. Oh, y'all,
I love Rick. We're gonna have a pair of tickets
to give away. Oh yeah, but he wouldn't have given

(24:52):
away two tickets. He always said giveaway four You know,
you can't give away tickets, you know, two dinners. You
got to give away a four pack.

Speaker 4 (24:59):

So Rick's going to be a shamed me. I got
a pair. Yeah, sorry, Oh my god, it's hard. The
word freaking Jojo. He sucks. Give me give me a
give me a caller, and we'll take the caller one
hundred and two point seven. Well we we normally do
caller one.

Speaker 6 (25:13):
Oh.

Speaker 9 (25:13):
I was thinking, like actually was thinking as I was
walking down here, like you guys are am six forty,
but six caller six hundred forty seems a bit extreme. Well,
wait a minute, I don't know, bellet oh it is.
Let's do caller in honor of k F. I am six.
Let's do caller sixty four. Oh that's great, Belly sixty four.
That's a caller sixty four.

Speaker 4 (25:34):

Speaker 1 (25:35):

still one eight hundred and five, two oh one, five three,

(25:59):
Oh for if if we can't get sixty four, well six,

really appreciate coming down, and now we'll keep promoting the
hell out of it.

Speaker 11 (26:55):

Speaker 1 (26:57):
Uh, you know what I'm exactly. I was just talking
to a friend of mine the other day. You know,
when we were in our teens or twenties and we
were du pars and we saw a table of people
in their late fifties early sixties. We thought, well, those
people are really old, and now that you're there, you
feel like you're still in the not, you know, in
your twenties or thirties.

Speaker 2 (27:16):
I am yeah, And I was at your birthday party
in Brono.

Speaker 1 (27:19):
Oh that's great. Oh, Eileen, Eileen, Eileen, are you going

with steph Os slide out there with the fun or
Bellio will go? When is it May tenth? Bellio? You
want to go with Eileen to Wango Tango? Yeah, she'll

(27:54):

guy in the drain. How about this? So let's bring
How about this, Eileen? How about you asked the guy
in the drain to go with you on May tenth
and he says I'm busy.

Speaker 4 (28:13):
How about that?

Speaker 1 (28:14):
How about that for an insult? All right? So, yeah,
you know I'm going to have lunch with Rick D's.
I don't mean to name drop, but next week and
maybe I'll ask him if he'll go with you. I
love Rick d.

Speaker 8 (28:27):
I've been listening to him forever too.

Speaker 1 (28:29):
Yeah, I'm a big Rick DS fan, huge Rick DS fan.

Speaker 3 (28:32):
Me too.

Speaker 1 (28:33):
And I remember he was out in front of I
Think Big Bends with his kid Kevin a long long
time ago. Yeah, that kid Kevin's turned out to be
a huge success in real estate game. But I was
going to I listened to Rick Dy's every morning. He
came on while I was in high school, and then
I went to San Diego State and I couldn't get
it down there because Chiss FM doesn't go all the
way to San Diego State. So on Tuesday and Thursday,

(28:54):
I had late classes that didn't start till ten thirty eleven,
so I'd get up at five am. I have to
day a point, go to Winchles, get a long you know,
chocolate bar, maple bar coffee, and sit there on the
bluff for three hours and listen to Rick D's in
the morning.

Speaker 5 (29:11):
Well worth it, by the way.

Speaker 1 (29:14):
Not the chick magnet in the fraternity sorority game.

Speaker 4 (29:18):
Really, yeah.

Speaker 1 (29:20):
Couldn't get anyone to go with me to do that, nobody, nobody.
All right, Aleen, congratulations, we have all your information. You're
in Liquenta, Lakita, Klikita, okay, spring, all right, and so
it's not that far drive maybe an hour and a half.

Speaker 6 (29:40):
It's no problem, all right, no problem.

Speaker 1 (29:42):
All right, enjoy the tickets, enjoy the show, and we'll
catch you on the flip side.

Speaker 2 (29:46):
But man, yeah, your birthday next year.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
Catch you on the flip side, my man, Yeah, what
is that?

Speaker 1 (30:07):
We're in the same age range.

Speaker 2 (30:09):
Even my drain guy doesn't talk to me like that.

Speaker 1 (30:11):
Yeah, I know, But you know, the drain guy, I
would love to get him on. Is there anybody to
get him on? You think he's he's probably not on
social media, I imagine.

Speaker 2 (30:23):
I don't think so.

Speaker 1 (30:24):
Don't you think though that if he I'm sure he's
a cell phone because everybody has one. But if you
were living in a drain, wouldn't you check the weather
like every ten minutes? Wouldn't that be the like the
big app on your homepage, Like what's going on with
the weather?

Speaker 2 (30:40):
Like the first thing you did when you wake up?

Speaker 1 (30:41):
Yeah, or wake up like four or five times a night.
You know, Hey, what's going on with the weather? Well,
for people don't know what you're talking about. There's a guy,
I don't remember what city was in by there was
a guy. There was a woman driving and she looked
over to the right and there's a guy coming out
of the sewer like just a storm drain on a
street on a boulevard, and he got up out of

(31:03):
the storm drain and went on his way, and then
they talked to him. And he lives in the drain.
He's living in the drain. Now, you've got to give
him some points for creativity. He's not living on the streets,
he's living under the streets. It was Stockton, Okay, all right, Stockton, California,

(31:30):
and he lives in the drain, in the drain and Bellio,
you know who's now this kept woman in Irvine would
never even think of dating a guy that lived in
the drain, not even for a second, even if the

(31:53):
guy was hooked up with tickets, you know, dinner for
four Tony Roma's.

Speaker 2 (31:58):
Well, you didn't mention that.

Speaker 1 (31:59):
Would you go to Tony ROMs with the gun?

Speaker 4 (32:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (32:02):
Yes, you know, let's ask Angel maybe angels.

Speaker 1 (32:06):
Angel, I don't know, would you go out with the guy?
She's had the high end life. I think she got
too spoiled with that rich guy she didd Would you
go out the drain?

Speaker 3 (32:14):
Gun?

Speaker 4 (32:16):
Rod would never do.

Speaker 2 (32:17):
That, Tim, never ever do it?

Speaker 1 (32:19):
Thank you? But you no, no, no, no no.

Speaker 2 (32:22):
If he lived in a drain near en Chino, Yeah, okay,
I'm all.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
