(00:00):
It's k IF. I am sixforty and you're listening to the Conway Show
on demand on the iHeartRadio app.We were talking about Waymo during the break,
these driverless cars, and I said, have you seen Mark, if
you've seen any, I haven't seenany in Burbank yet, and I very
rarely go to the West Side.I've seen a couple. Though I've seen
a couple. Is it odd tosee? I mean, no, I

(00:22):
actually they don't make me nervous inthe least. I'm with you. I'm
generally pretty safe. Yeah, youknow, I think they said there's fifty
seven percent less accidents with driverless vehiclesthan they are with you know, guys
driving. You know, it's funnybecause I have a Tesla and they just
sent out this update thing software updatewhere they offered a self driving beta feature

(00:47):
for those of us who didn't payfor the self driving. This is some
sophisticated upgrade. The car will driveitself to whatever destination you just put in
Tim's house. It'll take me toTim's house. So I signed up for
it and I used it and itworks perfectly. Except I didn't realize this,
but when I drive, I automaticallyavoid potholes and certain imperfections in the

(01:12):
road, and there are a lotof them in La, a ton of
them. Yeah, And the driverlesscar, the driverless system doesn't avoid that.
It just stays within the lanes, you know what I mean. So
your ride is much rougher. Butmore than that, it's taking its toll
on the top the rims and stufflike that. So I bailed on it.

(01:32):
It just was it was obnoxious, although it worked well, but the
condition of the road just is somethingthat it was not factored in. I
drove to Arizona over the weekend, and when I was in Arizona, it
was like glass. It was likeice. You know, there's no imperfections
in the highways or the roads atall anywhere. And then when you moment
you get back into California, butbang bang bang bang, and there's they

(01:53):
try to, you know, fillthose holes, but that those get chewed
up, and it's constant pothole orjust pieces missing or rough areas, and
you feel every inch of it andyou try. All you do when you're
driving on the freeway is try toavoid those. And it's worse in traffic.
You know, when you're going seventymiles an hour over a pothole,

(02:14):
you barely feel it, but whenyou're going four miles an hour, you
dip right into it like bo bobang bang. So all you're doing is
trying to avoid. On the fiveFreeway. There are people driving their car
right now on the Five Freeway stuckin traffic avoid doing exactly what we're saying,
trying to avoid all the potholes onthe five Freeway. On the freeway,
on the most big on the mosttraveled freeway in southern California, the

(02:37):
Five. There are major potholes almostevery single quarter mile. Now, why
are the roads as chewed up?Well, I think I think it's mismanagement
with the money in California. Whenyou know, we had thirty billion dollars
that we lost with the Employment Departmentor that. Yeah, that's that money

(02:58):
was stolen, stolen, right, okay, and nobody paid a price for
it. Nobody got fired, nobodygot suspended, nobody got lectured. It
just was gone. And then wehave twenty four million billion dollars billion,
twenty four billion dollars missing. Theywas supposed to be spent on the homeless,
and that's gone too. Okay, that's fifty five billion dollars they could
have been spent on roads and it'sgone. Well, there's money directed to

(03:19):
roads too. It's mismanagement, thoughit's gone. And so there's there's two
reasons, two legitimate reasons I heardwhy we are why the roads are screwed
up in California. All the otherreasons are bs. The two legitimate reasons
I've heard is there's a lot ofpeople with electric cars, so they're not
we're not getting as much on fueltax as we should. Okay, that's

(03:43):
one by I buy into that sortof But the one, the big legitimate
one that I buy into, andI think this one is dead on that.
I think it's seventy two percent ofall of the West Coast states.
All that shipping comes through Long Beach, Sam Pedro, San Diego, and
San Francisco. Oh, that's ofthe busiest, busiest portion in the nation,

(04:09):
maybe in the war, right, you're okay, okay, So we
have to transport all those containers tothe Midwest, to the East Coast,
to you know, the Southern States, the Northern States, and the Canadate
in New Mexico, and so wehave more big rigs than any other state
and those big rigs are chewing upthat pavement. Oh that's interesting. You

(04:29):
know, are only two legitimate?Because I talked to a guy who was
drunk in Arizona, but he seemedto know what he's talking about because he
had some kind of connection with Caltrans. That sounds like that sounds like a
Henry call. And I was talkingto somebody and then they drank in Arizona.
But he's you know he's talking aboutand he was drunk, but he

(04:53):
also seemed to know what he wastalking about. Okay, I mean,
and I don't think they're you know, mutually exclusive or whatever else. We
appreciate it. We appreciate the fulldisclosure that he wasn't inebriated. Yes,
yeah, but I think there's wegot to do something about the potholes and
the rough roads. You know, what's a really rough road that is not
getting enough attention. Laurel Canyon ontothe northbound one oh one. It's a

(05:19):
canyon that you've got a cross toget on to get on the one oh
one north. It's unbelievable. Andevery time it rains, all that pavement
gets chewed up, and it's likeliterally going into the Grand canyon and coming
out and trying to get on thefreeway, it's impossible. Well, Laurel
on the other side, when you'retrying to go over from the valley to

(05:41):
West Hollywood and all those places toHollywood, et cetera. Now, with
cold water inaccessible because of Mulholland beingshut down, you've got I mean,
it's just clotted with cars all thetime. I think they've opened it up
now, but I have you're right. I think you're right. Yeah,
for a long time it was closed. Yeah, they've opened up Maulholland.
I think we story on the didn'tthey open Mulholland, didn't we I think

(06:04):
they did Mulholland or Tipeinga. No, well, I think they opened both.
The bank is open for sure.I think Maholland is opening. Is
Mulholland open? Can somebody tell meis done? On the phone? I
want to concern it ever to answerthe question reopen Memorial Day weekend? Yeah?
Okay, so it is open, but you're right it was closed for
Mulholland is open, yes, Well, then there's no excuse for how clotted.

(06:27):
Then there's no excuse for hout clottedLaurel Canyon is. When we come
back, we are going to talkabout the Hollywood Walk of Fame because there's
a petition going around to get somebodya star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
that you'll know this name. Andthere's a little controversy and whether they should
get one or not. I thinkthey should. Mark thinks that they that
the person should and we'll come backwe will discuss it. The Holly Walk

(06:51):
of Fame, there is I don'tknow, twenty seven or twenty almost twenty
eight hundred stars and we think thatthis person should get one and you'll know
who it is when we come back. Oh, you're listening to Tim Conway
Junior on demand from kf I AMsix forty. The Walk of Fame is
a very prestigious thing to get.It still is, even though there's some

(07:15):
idiots on there that shouldn't be onthere, and because I don't think Look,
I hate to say this, becauseyou know, it's like I'm I'm
fighting to get Caitlin Clark on thaton that Olympic team because there's more eyeballs.
It'll do something for women's basketball.And so I feel like a hypocrite

(07:40):
when I say this, but Idon't think radio guys should be on the
Walk of Fame. I always thoughtit's for major movie stars or major people
of major influence in TV or film. Look, there are some guys that
I would put on there. Youknow. I think Rick D's deserves his.

(08:01):
I think Howard Stern. Uh maybelike a Rush Limbaugh, somebody who
has like a nationally syndicated show thata lot of people listen to. Don
what's his name, don Imus, don Imus? How about Ryan Seacrest,
maybe seacrests for his TV boy bigBoy? Yeah, I would big Boy.

(08:22):
Doesn't he have one? He has? He has three? Oh okay,
what about uh uh the wood youshow people? Yeah, I don't
think wood he would accept it.Yeah. I bet if if you said
to Woody, we're gonna give youa star in the Walk of Fame,
he said no. Yeah, ohHandles, Yeah, all right, handle
as a syndicated show, he's gotone. Yeah, what would you do

(08:43):
with the law or I can seewhat you're going on? Here we go
person by person after you just saidnobody in the radio Shaana, and you've
just green led everybody. Look,I'm not gonna you know, Gary and
Shannon, wouldn't you done something theyshould? They wouldn't they would accept it?
They you don't think so now,But John coleblt uh, I don't
think he'd accept that. Okay, all right, I mean you and you

(09:05):
would turn it down, of course. But it used to be Richard Blade.
No, he just had he wasjust inducted. Look I like Richard
Blade. Yeah, me too,But he's got to be embarrassed to be
standing there, you know, gettinga star, don't you think? I
don't think so. I mean Ithink if you asked him, if you
sat him down, he said, hey, do you think you deserve so

(09:26):
he's like, I didn't want todo it, but they offered. No,
I think your notion of what itused to be I think, to
be fair to you, Lark Gable, it used to be those kinds of
stars. I think since those days, it's expanded. It's become memorializing were
other work, other show business workthat isn't just purely film and television.

(09:48):
Okay, all right, the onethat the one person. I didn't mean
to be so dismissive, but Iknow that's it sounded like that, but
maybe it was that. But theywant to give one to Sam Ruben posthumously.
Sure, that's the last time Ifelt that word out because I don't
really like pronouncing him. He's gota national profile, for sure. Yeah,

(10:11):
and I like him personally, soI fight for him and his family
and his kids, and I thinkthat they I think they should give him
one. When he passed away. They did a thing on the Today Show
about it on Good Morning America.I don't know, Yeah, I mean
it was a big deal. They'restill doing on Channel I turned on KTLA
at one o'clock and they're still doingwald Wall Sam Ruben. All right,
Tim, you know what, youclaim to be a champion and then you

(10:33):
make a comment like that, Yeah, that's why people listen. So but
here's what I'd give one too.Yeah, who's not a celebrity and I
needed it over the weekend and Iand I saved my life. The guy
that invented peptal bismo, Oh,I'd give him one way way over,

(10:56):
Sam Ruben. Well, now you'rereally into an area that has nothing to
do with media. Tim, Theseare now just isn't that? But it
doesn't doesn't everyone agree that the guywho came up with pepto bismo or Emodium
deserves a super big star and themost I think the guy who came up
with advil deserves a super a bigstar. Maybe maybe, but you Emodium

(11:18):
and guys who like vodka know whatI'm talking about right now. I emodium
and pepto Bismo is a game changer, not combined, but maybe separate,
A game changer. A star onthe Walk of Fame, the size of
Mount Olympus, the Olympic Olympus.Yeah, it's got to be way before

(11:43):
Sam Rubin. But I don't know. Maybe they should get one to Sam
Rubin. I think they should.Oh yeah, I think you should get
one. I mean, it's sadthat he has to be, you know,
no longer with us to have it. But let's find out more.
If they're talking about Sam Rubin andhis star, KTLA has been nominated for
ten LA area I means, andhere to talk more about it. We're
joined by Television Academy Chair Chris.Thank you, Dan. I'm so happy

(12:03):
to be here with all of you, especially to congratulates you on the ten
Okay, this is not about thestar, but this is about him.
Getting the Governor's Award nomination is noeasy feat for sure, but I did
want to mention actually Sam Rubin nominatedabsolutely for his role in the in the
sag I think the SAG strike saxstruckcovered to the Sax trick for sure.
I also wanted to be here inperson to share another piece of news.

(12:26):
I'm honored to tell you that SamRubin has been selected as this year's recipient
of the Los Angeles Area Emmy's Governor'sAward for Unique Contribution to Los Angeles Era
community. And so it's a hugehonor in Sam's com leadershipment this year.
That's kind of cool. He's goingto get the Governor's Board. But I
think you should also get a staron the walk up there. I agree,
Yeah, I agree, And thatshould be a wrap and then it's

(12:50):
Clark Cable or you know, SylvesterStallone, he should get one, you
know, big stars. Yeah, yeah, you're right. I think big
of the star, the closer toHollywood and Highland that you get. There
is something to the location, yeah, there is, there is. Where's
your dad's it's he wanted it thisway right outside of Frederick's where they sell

(13:15):
lingerie and sure, you know sexyclothes. Yeah, and he wanted it
that way, so when he wentdown to visit, he could, you
know, appear, pick up somelingerie. Sure, but it's literally about
thirty feet away from Charlie Fox's starOh Walk of Fame, and Charlie Fox

(13:35):
a friend of mine, Robbie Fox. His dad is Charlie Fox. He's
the composer who wrote Laverne and Shirley, the theme song for Laverne and Shirley,
theme song for Happy Days, themesong for love Boat, and he
also wrote Live world Wide World ofSports and a little song that you may
remember called killing Me Softly wrote thatsong. I wanted to come on and

(13:58):
do my YouTube show. Oh good, Yeah, but he didn't show up.
I don't do media, okay.Did he say no? No?
He did. He didn't talk tome, but I didn't. It didn't.
It never got off the lunch. He has never said no to us.
No, I really, I'm abeautiful man I've ever met No.
In fact, as you were talking, when I said I really want to
talk to him, I'm dying totalk to him. He's the greatest.

(14:20):
He is the most unaffected, inaffectedor unaffected, unaffected human being in show
business. That's terrific man. He'san accomplished man. He still pretends like
it's his first day in show business. Isn't that great? It's unbelievable,
it's almost and it's not even fake. It's really who he is. Yeah,

(14:41):
I mean you went for his starinduction. I've never heard him say
negative worry about anybody in my life. It's terrific. That's it's crazy almost,
you know, no grudges, noanger, nothing, It's unbelievable,
you know. Well, I mean, if they gave the stars for just
goodness and niceness, yes, Ithink I'd have one, Tim, Really,

(15:01):
yes, I do. I thinki'd have one. Yep. I
think i'd have a very big one, a really really big star, if
it was just about goodness and niceness. Yeah, all right, I can
see you don't quite agree, butI think I would. But have they
ever approached you about a star? It's funny you ask, because Sharon and

(15:22):
I were just discussing this the otherday, and on what level, like
like the biggest joke possible, Oh, Tim, the biggest mistake that the
Hollywood black of famous ever made.God, you just knocked the wind out
of me with that. Thing's completelyimpossible to ever. Oh my exact opposite

(15:45):
universe somewhere. I am really ifeverybody else in the world died, I'm
gonna need a minute if there reallywas another universe theory. I guess you
guys didn't see my hit series GuinnessPrimetime, which ran for three seasons on
the Fox Television network. I didsee that. It was a hit,
so we saw it. I wasthe host, and I'll say you didn't

(16:07):
in my narration. But animals attack, Yeah, but animals attack one,
two, three, four and five, Yeah, busted on the job one,
two, three, four and five. How dare you when good things
go bad? When good things gobad, good times going one, two,
three, four and five and sixhere today? How dare you?

(16:30):
Dare you insult my distinguished show businesscareer like this? That's a great Christ
like this? He totally sorry,he totally wow. Wow. Don't don't
enable him, Crosier, it's disgusting. Mark will get you a star.

(16:52):
He deserves one for that line. You're listening to Tim conwaytun you're on demand
from KFI AM six forty. Youknow, a couple of weeks ago we
told the story. By the way, I didn't ask permission. But stephansh,
can I read this letter on theair that you've got today? I
think you can? Yeah, Imean I'm asking you. Yeah, okay,

(17:14):
yes, I ask you for permission. Oh okay, okay, all
right. So this is from aguy named Dan and I don't want to
say his last name because we didn'task him for permission to read this on
the air. But Stephush told usa story about how he went to a
supermarket, local supermarket in Burbank andhe was, you know, buying I

(17:37):
don't know, licorice or you know, abbas abbas candies. I don't know
what he's buying, well, okay, maybe booze and I don't know,
I you know, some kind ofpop tarts or whatever. And he's waiting
in line and he hears two girls. They're speaking English to each other,
and then they start speaking Spanish toeach other and they direct their comments at

(18:03):
Steffuge, saying, wow, Ilook at I What horribly he's dressed?
What they say, Yeah, howhorribly you're dressed? And what else?
They say? My parents? Yourparents sucks. Yeah, but you said
they were saying this in Spanish, assuming that you couldn't understand them, Yeah,
exactly, okay, and they didn'tknow that you your mom was the

(18:27):
Queen of Argentina, your grandmother,my grandmother, your brown Yeah. Wow,
his grandmother was the queen. That'sa very good brag Argentina. Yeah.
And so he speaks how do yousay fluently? How do you say
queen of Argentina in Spanish? Lorenaand Argentina? Yeah, baby, that's
well done. Speak Spanish? Isthat how you had the addresser sometimes?

(18:52):
Yeah, that's really cool. Okay. His grandmother was the Queen of Argentina,
And so he speaks fluent. Buthe looks he looks like, you
know, he looks like he couldbe Bellio's kid. Like how white he
is? Sorry, I was goingto a compliment that it made a U
turn, but he's uh, man, is that guy white? He's whiter

(19:15):
than I am. He's like thethe white He's like the the white chick
Hern chicken and white. Yeah, well then he's like chick Hern with his
knowledge of sports. But but anyway, so he drove home, and you
drove home after that, and yougot upset, yes, and we're emotional

(19:36):
and crying about it because you feltreally insulted and you didn't say anything to
them because you're not a man ofconflict like I am. You know that
would that would. I don't knowhow the story ends, but when we
tell it again, you're going tosay something. We're going to rewrite it.
So you turn on them and youuncork some Spanish. Buddy, you
are a bigger man for not sayingany all right, maybe you are.

(19:59):
It takes it, It takes moreself awareness. And yeah, I'm restrained
and I'm not in confidence that youdidn't like them, but just to go,
hey, you know, I canunderstand what you're saying, and I
hear you know, because my dadalways taught me if somebody talks behind your
back, it's none of your business. And the reason why they're doing it
behind your back is because they don'twant to do it in front of you.

(20:19):
No, they're talking right in frontof the guy. But that's talking.
So they're talking about you know thathe that his appearance was not that
great, not that he did anythingabout that. I guess right. Uh.
I think he looks great. Yeah, okay, so we're not at
rock bottom yet. Okay. Ithink the guy looks okay and looks casual.

(20:45):
Casual stuff I mean, that's oneof the things I like about him,
right, all right, So Stephanushgets a letter from a guy named
Dan. Can I read it onthe air? That's cool? Yes,
Okay, here it goes. I'ma long time listener to the Conway Show,
and I wanted to applaud you forsharing your story about the girls at
the supermarket. Talking about how theinteraction made you cry and how hurt your

(21:07):
soul was on the air. Tookreal courage. I think that's true.
A little background on me. Iwork in recovery with addicts and alcoholics.
Oh it's this guy. I knowthis guy, this guy. Oh,
I know who this is. Now, yeah, I know almost everybody in
recovery in Burbank. I work inrecovery with addicts and alcoholics in early sobriety,

(21:30):
trying to put their lives back together. When I got to work this
morning, after hearing your story,I was inspired to make the theme of
the day kindness. At our morningmeeting, I shared your story with our
clients and I challenged them to goout and spread kindness today. I know
at least one client took it toheart and bought a homeless guy some lunch.

(21:55):
Because of your story, Stephfuje, there's a small wave of kindness spreading
through a small neighborhood in San Francisco. I hope this helps your soul feel
a little bit better. Keep upall your good work on the show.
Oh that's very nice. Yeah, that is beautiful. Yeah. I don't
know what referencing he was talking about, keep up your good work on the

(22:15):
show. Your suggestion that he doesn'tdo a good right. No, I'm
just saying I don't know where thelist is, how long it is.
But that's great, steff it wash. You've inspired people. You know,
this person listens in San Francisco onthe stream than to iHeart probably Yeah,
yeah, that was the point ofthe whole story part. You got it.
Well. I figured I just putthat out because later Robin will go,

(22:36):
hey, thank you for mentioning iHearton that. But that's really great,
buddy, It was very nice.Yeah, he was. He was
very open with what he does, and so I talked to him a little
bit about, you know, havinggreat listeners like you guys, you know,
and I was talking to Sharon. It's like, you forget, it's

(22:59):
not just us four or five inthe room. It's like, you know,
there's a lot of people listening,so I can't hear it, but
it's it's great that that this guythat your story inspired this guy, and
this guy inspired other guys, andthat will inspire more people and it could
be a wave of kindness because ofwhat you went through. So that's the

(23:19):
silver line it. Yeah, youknow, there's always a positive out of
every situation, almost every situation almost. Yeah, but that's great. Steph
Wosh. I think you should framethis letter. I'll sign it to you.
I'll put my name on. It'llbe more valuable and then you can
frame it and then yeah, andthen people will be like, oh,
why did Conway sign it? Hesaid it's gonna be more valuable. We

(23:41):
didn't see that ever happen. Butyou can frame it now. There you
go. I'll sign it over toyou. Okay, all right. But
that was a very sad story thatwe heard. I mean, it's an
emotional story. I think in theend it's uplifting. Yes, you have
let's say, positive positivity came outat the end of it, you know.

(24:03):
So that's what I take from it, and that's what I learned is
be vulnerable. Yes, yes, yes, yes, and when somebody talks
about you in Spanish the next time, you got to give them a you'll
know tang. Okay, excellent, all right, buddy, you are the
best I think I I you know, and I know this is not a

(24:29):
popular position, but I'll just saythis. I would have you gonna pile
on him? Are you gonna beon the girl's side as I walked out?
As I walked out, if Ihad those mad skills in Spanish over
my shoulder, I would go,Hey, by the way, you guys
ain't that hot either? Boom, you just leave. It's your exit line.
You know, I didn't even askyou. Were they any good or

(24:52):
objectively? Yeah? But you knowthat's and I think that that came with
the territory of not wanting to confrontthem. Oh I so they were young
hot latinas pretty much. Wow,got to give me the market off the
air, Okay. I like badmouth and young hot latinas. It's my

(25:14):
thing. I didn't know that.Yeah, So sorry, stuff fush,
but I may pile on your futurein an awkward direction, hasn't it.
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior ondemand from kf I AM six forty Mark
Thompson is here every Tuesday. Yes, it's a very popular show on YouTube

(25:37):
called The Mark Thompson Show. ThankYou. A lot of news and politics
these days, but we also doa lot of other stuff. So did
you cover the Hunter Biden case?Oh? Yeah, how'd that? Yeah?
I don't know. My feeling is, uh, well, it's just
one of those things. I mean, the guy seemed like an open and
shut case. Yeah, you knowwhat that guy had. That kid has

(25:59):
said so many problems no, andhe has to live him out, you
know, in public on the that'sright, in the trial. I mean,
it's tough, but you know,he's written about it, talked about
it, so on some level he'sused to talking about it or at least
acknowledging it in all these different forums. But still at a trial it's pretty
brutal. But you know, theearly trauma that he went through, he
got in there was a car accident. I think it was nineteen seventy two,

(26:22):
and his mom died and his sisteror brother died and him and his
brother Bo were in the hospital formonths. He had a traumatic brain injury
when he was you know, Ithink he was born in I don't know
what year he was born. Happenedseventy two. I think he was born.
I think he was two years old. And a traumatic brain injury in

(26:44):
nineteen seventy two is not like atraumatic brain injury now. She had very
little equipment to help you out backthen, and so that could have fed
him up for the rest of hislife. Good. I feel bad for
him, I really do. Oh. I mean, it's tough not to
feel bad for him in the family. Yeah, but I mean he may
do time. You know, well, he's looking at, you know,

(27:07):
twenty five years for each of thethree felonies. He's obviously not going to
do that. It's first time offence. But man, I don't know where
this election is going because that JoeBiden's under a lot of pressure, a
lot of pressure with this guy.He froze up today during some kind of
I think it was a juneteenth earlycelebration. And it's not going it's not

(27:33):
I you know, he constantly he'smaking mistakes. You know, I don't
really think he knows where he ishalf the time. And I know about
that, but okay, all right, let's say it's ten percent of the
time, all right, But butI don't think I feel bad, Like
if that was my grandfather, Iwould take him aside and go, Grandpa,
look, you shouldn't be doing thisanymore, you know, you shouldn't

(27:56):
you know, they should slot somebodyelse in. It's really difficult to watch
an old guy deteriorate like well,I mean, I think you can say
the other the guy is running againstalso is off the off the rails half
the time. So we've got twoguys who are off the rails a lot
of the time. And look,I'm just saying, the guy who's president,
I got the think that the guywants to be president, okay,
but the guy, the guy whois president right now is not all there.

(28:19):
You want to pull him from thegame and put the guy, the
other guy who's not all there in. I don't care who, you know,
I'm saying they should pull somebody anotherDemocrat and there put him in there.
And I don't know that he's Idon't know about that, not all
their thing, But I just knowthat we've got two old guys who are
you know, one guy wants tocontinue and the other old guy wants to
take over, you know, soon the old your eyes exactly, and

(28:41):
the old guy thing, and theold guy thing that it's a bush now
okay, yeah, all right inokay, and the old guy thing.
I mean, you can talk aboutother stuff, but the old guy thing,
it's a push. Okay. They'reexactly the said. Yeah, okay,
what now. Jury found Hunter Bidenguilt to you on all three charges
in his federal gun trial. Thejury came to a unanimous conclusion this morning.

(29:04):
President's son was charged with three felonaccounts, including making false statements during
the purchase of a firearm and firearmpossession by an unlawful drug user or addict.
He now faces up to twenty fiveyears in prison. The judge did
not set a firm sentencing date, but estimated it would happen in one hundred
and twenty days, or roughly inOctober. Oh man, gosh, that's

(29:26):
very tough, tough, tough move, all right, UCLA protest. Twenty
five people arrested. Twenty five peoplearrested, and they're trying to set up
one of those camps again, youknow with the protest. Oh my god,
Palestinian pro Palestinian protest camps. Thoseencampments shit so early. So they

(29:48):
got twenty where the first time.Well, you know, they only have
a couple weeks left because colleges aregoing to be dismissed for the summer,
and you can't set them up whennobody's there. Who cares? You want
to be protesting to an audience, that's right, that's why they're there.

(30:10):
Once again, over one hundred andfifty pro Palestine protesters attempted to set up
another encampment with ten supplywood barricades andcanopies just after three pm. Campus police
immediately issuing a dispersal order and callingin the California Highway Patrol, but it
was to no avail. While thegroup would leave one area, they just

(30:32):
moved to another, marching through campus, often in a funeral like procession as
some read the names of the victimsof the conflict, from Kirkhoff Patio to
Moore Hall, to Dodd Hall andthe School of Law, and on it
went. At one point, campuspolice said the protesters, some of them
using homemade wooden shields, entered moreHall, where some students were taking their

(30:55):
finals, and over at Dodd Hall, students had to be evacuated. They
were also taking finals because they saidthey were told that protesters were threatening to
burn the building down. Do youthink there's any parents that are thinking twice
about sending their kids to U cl A? What about there are?

(31:18):
Nay? I mean, it's justit's got to be. It's so outrageous
that the administration at UCLA or anyuniversity or college allows this to happen.
Is a world class university. Yeah, and I think there are parents out
there that are thinking twice about aboutpaying to send their kid there. That's
a huge downfall for that that universityand for any others that you know.

(31:40):
It's this is the most bizarre thingthat you know, that you allow this
to germinate, that you allow theseencampments to set up at all. That's
what they're trying to stop now.Absolutely, I said that from the very
beginning. It's I know you did, but you were the first guy to
say. I was the very firstguy. You know, you were the
first guy he said, Hey,with these campments, no witness die it.
Yeah, no, not even one. That's right? All right?
