(00:00):
It's cam If I am six fortyand you're listening to the Conway Show on
demand on the iHeartRadio app. Heyeverybody, Neil Savadra here in for mister
Tim Conway Junior tonight who's on vacation. You'll have Mark Thompson tomorrow and Friday.
I'm happy to be with you untilseven o'clock tonight, So thanks for
hanging out in a moment. I'mexcited. I love me some bellio and
(00:24):
she's been taking some mime. I'mgonna interview her about that coming up shortly,
but right now I wanted to talkabout and I know that you had
Tim and Mark Thompson talk about magnetfishing yesterday based on a story. I'll
play that in a second, butI'd love to hear from you. I
have this. I had this weirdfeeling in my gut. If you will
(00:52):
that Tim Conway listeners that there's gonnabe some magnet fishers in there, magnet
anglers, magnet ndos, magn myfishers. I don't know, do you
call him magnet fisher persons? Yes, So I'd love if you have magnet
fished, or you are currently someonewho considers them a magnet fisher with I'm
(01:17):
not joking here, I'm interested. We have a place up in a Big
Bear and they have Big Bear Lakeand other lakes there. I think they
have Green Valley they have, youknow, and like I would, I
wonder if you could magnet fish there. Eight hundred five to zero one five
three four eight hundred five to zeroone five three three four. If you
(01:38):
have magnet fished, I want toknow what you found at to why are
you laughing? I find that hum. I just saw recently a former employee
here at KFI, Jennifer. Sheshe just made a post about her son
who just had a birthday, andhe does She made a point of saying,
that's what he does. He doesmagnet ben Yeah, is that that?
No? The younger one, Wow, look at that. Okay,
(02:01):
So let's let's hear the story.Different kind of fishery. So it's called
magnet fishing. So you basically lowera powerful magnet into the water and see
what sticks. Well. A couplein Queens, New York pulled up this
it's a safe. They told SpectrumNews they were shocked to find one hundred
thousand dollars stashed inside the safe. The initial thought is, we have found
(02:22):
plenty of safes before, and Ithought it was a bunch of the little
baggies that you would put cash in, you know what I mean. I
was like, Oh, we're gonnaopen it up and it's gonna be a
little clear baggies. And then Isaw the numbers. Once I seen the
actual dollars dollars and the little ribbonribbons, like one hundred in the security
ribbons, I was like, oh, I lost it. So the police
(02:43):
couldn't actually link the safe to anycrime, and there was no way to
track down the original owner. Sofor the lucky couple, it's apparently finders
keepers. That money is still good. Wow, yeah, the money,
doesn't you know, it doesn't getit might become more valuable, sir,
if it's super old. So doingthat then Mark and Tim talked about it
(03:04):
a little bit, and I'm curious. I think some of you out there
have magnet fished. I am notjoking, even though I always kind of
sound like I am. I wouldlike to do it. I'd like to
try it. I've even looked atkits. I've even looked at the knots
you have to tie, you haveto use nylon rope. How you have
to keep your magnet so it doesn'tstick to stuff in your like, doesn't
(03:25):
ruin stuff in your truck or whereveryou keep it. And how they put
them in coolers. They put themin all kinds of stuff because they're super
powerful. So I'm learning. I'msharing with you right now, so you
know that you can trust me.And if you have done magnet fishing,
I want to know about it,if you found anything. I just think
if we go to anyone, anyone, any listener, it's going to be
(03:50):
a Conway listener that has done somemagnet fishing. That's just a guy.
Eight hundred five two zero one fivethree four. Eight hundred five two zero
one five three four. Meanwhile, while I'm waiting for those, just like
a stampede, like black fries, everybody hold on, yeah, one at
a time. There's only three TVsat that price. I wanted to talk
(04:11):
to Belly, who says that shehas been doing some mine. So how
is this new? Is this somethingthat you wanted to do as a kid?
Oh you were okay, you weresmall in a crib bascinette. That's
the round one okay. Oh,and you're learning how to walk, and
(04:36):
you you thought it would be funtoo, uh, be be in a
box, a glass box. Whenyou were a kid, you wanted to
be in a glass box. Andthen and then you you got you were
(04:57):
pulled towards it, pulled towards, pulled towards it by rope. You're pulled
towards being doing pantomime. That wascute. She pointed at her pants and
a mime and then okay, andyou got pulled by the rope and you
climbed. Oh, you were climbinga ladder. I'm assuming learning climbing a
(05:20):
ladder. Oh h there was wind, ah and the umbrella and now she's
crying like a small child. Oh. But uh, you were studying.
You did your studies. And butoh you were juggling. You had a
(05:44):
lot of things. You were jugglinga lot of things. And oh,
back in the box again. Sothere was some issues. It was hard
for you. You kept feeling likeyou would learn some things. Oh you
move forward and the wind would pushyou back. I get it. And
uh, so there's there was strugglesstruggles there. And there you you were
(06:10):
watching you're watching TV. You're watchingTV. And on the TV, what's
that a sword? Uh? Oh? Shield? Shield shield, and you
were knitting you're you had a shieldand you were a shield and you are
shield and you are now okay, shield and you were watching shields and you
(06:33):
are now And that's when you reallygot Oh. Then you were back in
the box. I'm sorry. Soyou're back in the box because you were
still with the juggling. You hada lot of things going on, and
you were juggling and a dough makinga case. Oh, you got sad
(07:01):
and you started eating feelings a bigbite. You would take big bites.
Do you think you would take bigbites? Yeah, and then the winds
(07:24):
would they couldn't blow you anymore. You were more stout and you all now
you can't fit in the box.I'm so sorry. Is this part of
this adult theater thing you were talkingabout earlier? She couldn't fit in the
box. I was happy she couldstay in the box. I'm out in
(07:46):
the box now. I liked herbetter. Quiet. You're listening to Tim
Conway Junior on demand from KFI AMsix forty Yilsavandri in for Tim Conway Junior
just doing a little slam and withBelli O Man it's that shoulder business.
(08:09):
Just throw them bows. What's thatelbows? Let me see your elbows and
kind kind of pointy? Yeah yeah, stand down, Stand down, soldier.
Oh so really we've got, youknow, talking about magnet fishing.
(08:31):
Steve and Whittier. Welcome to KFI. Hey Neil, how are you,
sir? I'm doing well. Soyou've done this magnis Yes, Lake Calvasu.
When we go out there water skiingalong the beaches where the beach your
boats, I have magnet fish there. I get tools. I think I
(08:52):
got wrenches, a hammer. Ieven found a small anchor one time within
you know, twenty thirty feet fromshort Because people work on their boats and
they drop things in the water.Well, the anchor makes sense. You
know what's funny, Steve. IfI had a hammer, I would hammer
in the morning, I would hammerin the evening. Yeah, I would
(09:13):
hammer all day long. AnyWho,So do you so when you bring them
up, do you derust them andbring them to their former glory. They're
not in bad shape because it's freshwater. They the couple wrenches, they
were like craftsmen's wrenches. They werechrome, a little bit of rust on
them, but not barnacles like youdoubt if it was it in seawater,
(09:35):
but yeah, they were all inpretty good shape. Did you just go
out, did you go out tolike Harbor Freight or something and get a
big magnet or did you get oneof those kits that come with the anti
cut gloves and the nylon rope.I think I got it. I may
had gotten it at West Marine. It was, and it was rubber coated
and pretty heavy duty magnet had theselike three arches on it and you tie
(09:56):
in heavy duty nylon rope on it. And I kept at my boat,
kept it under one of the seatson my boat. So it wasn't like
sticking anything metal since the boat's barberlast. And we just while the boat
was anchored, you know, abeach, we just throw it off the
back of the boat and just tryingto drag it along there. Because people
are always dropping tools when they're workingon their boats on the shore, and
(10:16):
as you get nuts and bolts andstuff too. But it was it wasn't
like any thebody was dumping stuff likeguns or safes right there. But but
you find tools, you know whatabout talking to Steve and Whittier, we
were talking earlier about that story wherethe safe was brought up by somebody who's
doing magnet fishing, which is essentiallytaking a nylon rope, massive magnet,
(10:39):
high powered magnet, putting it intothe water and pulling you know, the
phosphorus. What I get that moves, Yeah, screwed up all the time.
It's anything with iron in it,and it'll pull it up right.
And so you do that, andthey've I've heard stories people pulling up guns
and like, if you did that, you'd have to call the cops,
(11:00):
right, make sure it's not fromused in a crime or something. You
should. Yeah, there's actually someYouTube videos. There's a group I don't
know if they're in the US orin Europe to go around magnet fishing and
they find guns and safes and allsorts of stuff all the time. You
got to wonder why somebody threw asafe in the water. Yeah, you
(11:22):
wonder, is maybe to get ridof the evidence. Steve, I feel
like you have a couple of gunsgiven called about. The laugh kind of
confirms it and creeps me out alittle bit. What I'm just saying,
because Steve's sitting there with you know, harboring I don't know what that is.
Harboring from the harbor. Well, thanks for calling Steve, because I
(11:43):
am fascinated about it, and Ireally want to look into getting a kit
myself and doing it. There's somethingthe exploratory nature of throwing a high powered
maggot maggot magnet now over you know, over the boat or something and finding
(12:05):
I don't know, just yeah, you know, what are you gonna find?
I don't know, you know, somebody's teeth with metal in them.
I don't know that they use iron, but it could happen. So I
just am fascinated by the concept ofthat. That's all I agree with you.
I don't understand why so many safesI get throwing the evidence. We're
(12:30):
saying that they they you know, because the metal gut has to be worth
something. You'd think you could probablytake you a scrapyard and get something for
it. But yeah, I guessif you emptied the safe, you might
throw it out to throw away theevidence, and then somebody is like,
(12:50):
you know, hey do f ayip, boss? Will you throw away
the safe? You got it both, so then hey, don't forget to
take that hundred Uh how did howdid it safe with all that money end
up in the water. That's whatI'm saying. That's uh, I love.
One of the first things they saidwas, oh, yeah, we
(13:11):
find saves all the time. Reallyyeah, but they're but they're empty because
the water. That's what we justYeah, that's what I'm getting. That's
what I'm saying. We were justtalking about that. I'm reinforcing what you're
saying. Thank you. I appreciateit. Puzzled as well. Yeah,
so I think it's got to bethe fact that they're stolen and they're tossing
(13:33):
them over to get rid of theactual part of it. Really, who's
using magnets, by the way,I mean, who's using who's fishing with
magnets? Magnet fishermen person? Ohokay, gotcha? And uh the boots.
(13:54):
You know what, if only,if only I would tape it up
seal every corner. You're listening toTim Conway Junior on demand from kf I
am six forty Niel Savader in fourTim Conway Junior Happy to be with you
tonight. Funny thing is so mybuddy Marla Tayas is on Fox eleven right
(14:15):
now. She does this six o'clockand then she'll do the eleven o'clock tonight,
and I'm watching her and she's inthis like cute little yellow outfit or
something like that. So I'm textingher during the break, saying, I'm
doing the show, filling in forTim. You're staring at me in this
yellow, greenish outfit that you're doing. And we're both live right now and
we're texting back and forth. Andnow you just know about the behind the
(14:37):
scenes, and't that crazy? Iwish you guys would just do your jobs
and not be texting one another.Really, I mean, come on,
hey, what were you doing duringthe break? It was texting Angel?
How's John doing? How's Angel? How's her noughties? Well, she hasn't
been making them lately. I hopeeverything's okay. What she gets in a
(14:58):
car accident? No, no,no, no, no elbow? She
heard her elbow? How that happenfrom playing tennis? She's got tennis elbow
from tennis? Wow? Thanks fortaking down our people. Okay, all
the hardworking folks out there, andyou're like, oh, oh, listen,
(15:24):
is the tennis court for you?Can you hold my bag? Grassy
ass? Fortunately I don't have towait for a tennis court. Luckily it
doesn't because she's part of the club. Hey, listener, Steve sent me
an email with a link to alook what my Maybe I don't know.
(15:46):
He's a magnet fisher, but ifanybody orders any sandals, they will be
back in production in one month. We were all really worried about it.
Look what my magnet pulls out ofAmsterdam's canals? Wait? Is this all
a euphemism or what could I want? What do they pull up? Looks
(16:08):
like one looks like an old VCRor DVD player. Does it work?
Well, you're probably gonna need toclean it. How many heads does it
have? Is it one of thosefancy forehead ones? Big box? Looks
like a computer PC? A PC? Yeah, big PC? Yeah?
You just well you put it ina big, big bucket of rice two
(16:30):
weeks. Oh yeah, it's stillgood. It's got so many parts.
Okay, So and what else fuses? Like? Uh? Like a like
radio tubes, which is just reallyweird radio tubes. But I don't,
you know, I'm a geek.I'd still be excited if I pulled up
a radio tube. I'd be like, Wow, I'm gonna wash this off
(16:52):
and do what with it. Noneof your business, sir, that sounds
that's between me and the emergency room. Doctor. Card read the card.
One of those end of year stories. This is what we found in people
this year part of their Christmas reelat the er. I saw a documentary
(17:14):
with guys that did this magnet fishingin England and you know they have the
canals through England and stuff. Theywould pull so many bicycles out of there,
tons of bikes. Well, speakingof a bicycle air pump, but
that's not as cool as a bicycle. I don't know. Well, to
me, it'll be easier to seeto get than a bicycle pump on a
(17:36):
bicycle. You could, you couldexpect to get a bicycle, but you
could, you know, take thepaint off, take care of it,
blue it up and get it backon the road. You yeah, what
are you pumping? Michael oh Man? I almost just answered that, and
that wouldn't have been good. Well, oh right, you're gonna say soccer
(17:57):
ball? Yeah, that's exactly whatever. Basketball, the red balls that you
hit people with during dodgeball boom boom. Hey, if you could dodge a
wrench, you could dodge a ball. This just did California Earthquake early Warning
system gets a major upgrade. Goodbecause I got one, Like when it
(18:22):
first started, I haven't received anyI received one a long time ago.
You know, we were going tobe a part of this. We met
with God. Where did we meet? Anyways, we met and talked about
being a part of this, avery big part of it early on,
and it never really went anywhere. And then the system came out. We
were very excited about it. Ithink I put it, you know,
(18:45):
downloaded it, and was very excitedabout that. Nothing is it is it
supposed to be specifically where you areat if you get one, So it
has to be an earthquake that's inyour general facinity for you to get the
early warning. That's a good question. So either your GPS is on or
your locations is on. I thinkthat's what it's about. It would probably
(19:07):
have to be, yeah, becauseI think that's that's part of what the
improvement that they say that they saythey're giving it is heightened ability to hone
in on the GPS. How doyou wake up? Wake up? There's
a seven point in norway, goback to sleep? Yeah, that doesn't
really serve its purpose. Well,I'm wondering if it's a variable that you
can have in the app to youknow, this range as opposed to just
(19:32):
you know whatever it's locked in tobe like a mile in the direction outward
from you or well. That's anotherthing is that it starts in an area,
right San Andreas Fault. And thenthey they're supposed to be predictive of
the radiating waves. You know thatthey know that boom, it starts and
(19:52):
it's going to go in that direction, or it's going to radiate from the
center in all these directions, andit's moving at this speed based on their
little sensors or whatever. So it'sgoing to hit this place in a minute
or something and then you know,or thirty seconds and they give you yeah.
And it's supposed to be better atdetermining the magnitude because they say one
of the biggest issues with it wasthat it was underestimating what the magnitudes were,
(20:14):
so it was causing people to notreact as strongly as they probably should.
So let me break this down.People weren't getting them. When they
did, they didn't give the rightnumber or the magnitude, whether it was
your actual location when the quake began, So they're working on accuracy tweaking.
(20:38):
I guess you say tweaking. Ijust remember that it happened at first out.
You know, some people may richon tech here on KFI. Yeah,
Richard and your own we all lovehim. By the way, little
tip from your old friend Neil Savadri. Get his newsletter. It's fantastic.
He does a great newsletter. Hehas tons of wonderful information as well.
(21:03):
But you know, I know thathe's said on his program that he has
received some I know that he's gottenit. But I can only remember once.
I think that I got the lasttwo in Pasadena, right, wasn't
weren't they both in Pasadena? Thisone yesterday? And then the one yeah,
a couple of days ago. Yeah. You know what's funny is the
(21:26):
one the first one. I wastalking to my wife in our home office,
and we have the exact same setup. They're just mirrored, so we
have like an L both have Lshaped desks kind of in the south and
north corner of the office, andthe exact same chairs and everything. And
(21:48):
she wheeled over in her chair tome to talk about something, and I
went and backed up, swung swungaround and then backed up into the l
shape of my desk right at thetime of the earthquake. I thought it
was me, and she thought, did you feel that? I go,
yeah, I backed into it.And then I hear our boy go earthquake,
(22:11):
and I'm like, oh, Ithought I thought that was powerful.
Then I thought it was me.It just it had that weird like,
I don't know, the noise ofsomething shifting. And then I think it
was yesterday or whatever. I hadjust been fatigued, and I'm like,
I got a nap and came outof the nap going, I think that's
(22:33):
an earthquake, back into the nap. There was a two point six earlier
today in Newport. I no,two six is like nothing, but yeah,
too sick. It made the news. Really, who's news? That's
Orange County newsh No more crime herebecause it's paradise. And there was like
a two or something I don't know, kind of a shake. We didn't
(22:56):
really notice because the waves and thesound and the smell of everything. Great.
Anyways, back to Los Angeles,Hey, turn that down. You're
this a free Palestine, you sup? I'm in a ball. Now here's
a rope, where's a wing?All? Right ed Gasconne's an ass.
(23:17):
Now back to Orange County. Ohmy gosh, is that a double rainbow?
This just in the local news.Personality hurts her elbow, plain pickleball.
You won't get you, You won'tget your you know? Uh?
What is it like? Ugliness?Free or mean? Made by nice people
(23:41):
or whatever? Made by good peopleand nice people that are happy and don't
live in La. Now back toyou in La, David, stress free
people. I'm ducking down now I'mbeing randomly shocked. Well, some homeless
guy throwing rocks and spitting on me. I think I just stepped in human
(24:04):
feces. Back to you in OrangeCounty. So angel when you think you're
gonna be back at it on thepickable? Oh what did you say?
I was sipping on an april sprits. I missed it. I was having,
you know, an apper teeth.Oh that's after a meal. No,
that's a digestive idiot? All right? Uh? What is this?
(24:30):
Is? This? Really is somethingI have to do right now? Yea,
the bald guy's got to do this. Yeah, okay, I should
read it. This this feature? What feature? What we're doing right now
about earthquakes which spread to you byOkay. This feature on earthquakes is brought
to you by One Day Treatment,Life changing Results. Make your appointment today
(24:52):
at Advanced Hair dot Com. That'sAdvanced Hair dot Com. Maybe you should
call. I'm thinking, you knowwhat I would do. I would get
a mohawk, think about it,keep it. It would keep it cheaper.
Just keep it cheaper, you know, maybe a one ish and that
way I'd be like and people wouldbe like, man, that guy,
(25:15):
what's he like twenty? Yeah?Yeah, no, no, no,
I wasn't finished like three twenty ohI think. Yeah. You're listening to
Tim Conway Junior on demand from KFIAM six forty. Hey, everybody,
Niels major and for mister Tim ConwayJunior tonight, happy to be here with
(25:38):
you. You will have Gosh. You will have Mark Thompson tomorrow and he
will be in tomorrow and Friday. And I will be back with Bill Handle

mo Kelly. You know what myMom's called me on that before. Oh
she has honey, what do youhave to do all those things? I
said, well, I care aboutthe other shows and I want to pitch
them. She goes, but itis so long, and then you go
(26:22):
straight to it'll break. Yeah, your mom is very perceptive, is she
now? She is? Maybe sheshould have your job. She could easily
have my job, Yes she could. Yeah, eighty six she's still kicking,
but can she mind? She justdoesn't know that she's kicking. Oh
mom, sorry, honey, can'tfeel that part of my leg. No,
(26:44):
I'm kidding. She's still we eightysix years young. We just got
her another car. Good for her. Yeah, that's awesome. Suspended license,
but man, it just gives herhope, something to fight for,
you know, something to look forwardto. Good lady. Yeah, I
love that lady. Hey. Youknow, speaking of ladies, the last
thing you want to hear if you'rein a courtroom is your honor. A
(27:10):
prosecution would like to bring Hunter Biden'sformer partners up to the bench. Like,
you don't want that ever in yourlife. So here's my tip.
Well one, I mean, sleepingwith your dead brother's wife very biblical,
by the way, you can findthat in the Bible, and there's even
some people that get I'm not goingto get into own it and all that,
(27:33):
but let's just say it went downpretty poorly when he was asked to
do that. However, be niceto people. You know, I have
an ex wife. I like hertones I think she's a neat person.
I hope she thinks I mean ajoke generically about having an ex wife,
but as a actual like the realityof her as a person. I like
(27:56):
her, even if she was testifying. Well, that's what I'm saying.
It's like, why, why,why have enemies? I mean, there's
people that don't like me, I'msure, but I don't know that I
have like and do you have enemies? Don't say Angel because she's she's she's
done for the day. That's notfair. Don't say Angel. Oh,
(28:18):
Angel just texted me. Oh thankyou Angel watching Oh thanks Angel. I
always have a good time with you. Mister mo Kelly. Good evening.
How are you. I'm doing well, it's good to see you. Good
to see you my friend. Notof our ships. Yeah, across.
However, I do listen all thetime and we text during your show.
(28:40):
We do, we do, butactually seeing each other. Yeah, it's
a rarity. Yeah, so you'rewelcome to see me. It's not like
Bill, I mean, I'm spendingtoo much time. I'm like, I
got another pun for you. Sowhat's on the docket for later tonight.
Well, we're gonna be meat actressand performer Leana Weaver. She is the
(29:03):
star of the Little Mermaid at LamaradaTheater. She plays Ariel. I'm gonna
be giving away tickets to that.Okay. So, as you know,
my brother is a two time TonyAward winning Broadway producer and he never lets
you forget that. Yes, no, he makes me say it. I'm
actually bound, but I will tellyou, and I've gone to Broadway shows
with him. The folks there Lamaradathat put on the shows tom at all
(29:30):
are just fantastic. I mean theyThis is Broadway quality programming in our backyard.
And if you don't take advantage ofit, shame on you, because
it is even Mattinees and the like, yeah are a blast. Have you
seen this show yet? No,I haven't seen it. I will see
it though, probably before I goon vacation at the end of the month.
(29:52):
How long is it one for?Through the twenty third of this month,
I get my boy out there.Yeah. Yeah, Tracy and I
have seen many, but we've nevertaken Max. He's just seven, so
that might be a good age.Well, that's a good age. My
parents started taking me around that age. Yeah, but your parents are musicians
and the like and they that's butI wasn't too young as far as my
(30:17):
attention span to appreciate it and enjoygotcha. Yeah, Yeah, I just
think it's I can't say enough goodthings about them and everything that they put
on there. It really is aneat place. I've seen so many even
you know South Pacific and the like. I've seen, you know, seen
many of the older plays and theclassic plays, you know Mary Poppins as
(30:41):
well, so seen some of thenewer and stuff like that. So we
have an announcement as far as ournext giveaway with Lamarado Theater for the Performing
Arts as well tonight excellent, Sothere's a lot going on there. We'll
have Claudie Cooper, who's back withHealth and Wellness, talk about the synergy
between our mental health and our physicalhealth and how exercise can I positively impact
(31:03):
our mental health and emotional health. She's pretty magical. She has a nice
way about her and uh, theway she treats me, like, just
come on out, just come out, be here, you show up.
I will get you to the otherplace, but you gotta show up.
I can't do that. She's veryshe's very good at making people comfortable right
where they are. And I loveit. That makes you no matter what
(31:26):
size you are, where you arein the place and your you know,
health journey, whatever that is.She just seems like it. And she'd
like effervescent and her energy transfers. And we have one more pair of tickets
to give away to the Pantagious Theaterfor Super Freak the Rick James story.
