Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's KFI Am six and you're listening to The Conway
Show on demand on the iHeartRadio app. Okay, the redistricting
maps are out there. They were going to come out earlier,
but Donald Trump was hogging up the news with President Putin,
so they came out a little later, and if you
want to see them, they're all over the internet. And

(00:22):
it's going to be it's going to add five or
six more Democratic seats to Congress. And one of the
districts that they're looking at is in northern California. Let's
see here, District number Let's see District number five, District

(00:45):
number five, and they're gonna have a tough time with that.
It's overwhelming Trump supporters up there, and they are not
going to lay down and take that. They're not going in.
They are a lot of farmers, a lot of conservatives,

(01:05):
and that's gonna be a fight up there. Another one
is District twenty three. That's another one of central California.
That's another big Trump district and they're not going to
take that either. So this is the kind of crap
that starts a lot of fights and a lot of anger,
a lot of hostility, and they better do this right

(01:29):
or else they're going to get a tremendous fight on
their hands. Oh here's another one district forty tell where
that is. It looks like again Central California, overwhelming Trump
supporters and they're going to flip that to a Democratic seat,
and they're going to have a fight on their hands,

(01:50):
a radical fight. So we'll see, we'll see how it
shakes down. But to to you know, to fight off
what Texas is to do. Governor Newson wants to change
the demographics and change the lines and in for some
counties in California. And if you if you go into

(02:13):
areas that are really deep red and say hey, we're
going to change your congressman to a Democrat, you're gonna
have a radical battle on your hands, a fight, I
mean literally could start a civil war. So let's just
all calm down and figure and see what happens. But

(02:33):
if they think that they that those big red Trump
districts are just going to take it with switching to
a Democrat, they don't know California and they don't know
that part of California. They are not going to take
them all, right. Dine La four and eighty Restaurants offering discounts.
Everyone's looking for a great restaurant and a great discount.

(02:56):
Let's find out how we can get both here, because
that's what people want. Just at the end of the day.
They don't want to talk about Trump or Putin or germandering.
They just want a good meal at a good price.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Restaurants all over La or at the top of their
game Friday night for the first night of dine La, they.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
Get a great deal, They get a great value. It's
a great excuse to go out and have some fun.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Some expensive menu prices may normally drive customers away, but
participating dne La restaurants are offering lunch and dinner menus
starting at just fifteen dollars with hopes of getting people
inside to try the food. Paul Carroll, who's part owner
of Tyshow in Sherman Oaks, says a spread like this
would usually cost you over one hundred bucks, but during
dine La, customers can get it for just sixty five.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
Restaurants as well as some other businesses are definitely struggling,
so this is a great time for us, right It's
a great time to just kind of give us a
boost of sales. During summer, get some new faces in
the restaurant. So hopefully, you know, we wow some people,
we get some hugs and and they come back.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Between re immigration enforcement, the Riders strike, the January fires,
and just the summer, Lowll restaurant operators like Maggie Eslava
from Florence O'stia in Beverly Grove tell Us twenty twenty five.
Has been a bit of a tough year.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
We've had the fires, We're having tariffs, We're having.

Speaker 5 (04:16):
Ice like anything you can think of it, it's happening here.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
Yeah, I do throw a lot at you. I will
give her that. La throws a ton of crap at
you every single day. Tell Us twenty twenty five. Yeah,
here's here's what just on the surface, what La throws at.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
Has been a bit of.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
A tough year. We've had the fires, the fires right
in January, January seventh. We're having terriffs, tariffs, all right.

Speaker 6 (04:38):
We're having ice like if anything you can think of it,
it's happening here.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
The water outage, the fire you know up in the
Acting fire than before that, the Canyon fire, the water
was out in the North Hills, the boil water orders
for Malibu, parts of Malibu and parts of the North Valley.
It's tough to live in southern California, and we're really
and everything is really really expected, and.

Speaker 5 (05:00):
We're really trying to roll with the punches. We're trying
to maintain that sense of community.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
They say, dine in La.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Yeah, dine La. All right, that's a it's great that
you know. There's some restaurants out there, like, for instance,
there's a restaurant in Sherman Oaks called Joe's Pizza, and
I would like to give them a mention because I
think it's the best pizza in LA. I think Joe's

(05:27):
Pizza is the best.

Speaker 6 (05:29):
I know.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
I'm gonna get a lot of emails, a lot of crap.
You know. Oh, I thought you like Broni's. I do
like Bronnie's. I think Broni's is great. But for a
quick pizza to go in, I think it's twenty two
dollars for an entire hoole pizza May twenty four. And
it's my daughter, my wife, and myself all agree that
Joe's is sensational. There's one in Studio City that's closer

(05:50):
to my house by five point six miles. And I
go to the one in Sherman Oaks because the guy
who is the pizza chef there is the best. And
I drive an extra six miles in traffic to get there.
But it's nice to go in and and Joe's Pizza.
I think there's five or six locations that I wish

(06:12):
they'd open one, you know, closer to Burbank or in Burbank,
that'd be great. But man, when you find a really
great pizza place, it is like fine day, you'll you'll
drive twenty miles to get a great pizza. What is
out in your u croag with pizza? What's in Claremont?
What do you what do you usually get?

Speaker 7 (06:29):
There is a place called that we've recently discovered. It's
an upland called Fiesta Pizza. And it's like it's like
you would think it's like cheaper pizza, and financially it is,
but it is like super good. Otherwise, you know, we've
got like we've got a round table right up the
street from us and tables good.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
I like brown, it actually is. It's one of Jen's
favorites too. Enjoy that. What do you leave, Robin? Where
do you go for pizza?

Speaker 5 (06:49):
I have to go to Blaze because I'm lactosin Dollary.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
What a downer you are? Or I do Dominoes with
no cheese. Wait, so your pizza is Dominoes. Yes? I
love their little sticks, Richie, please safer? Where do you go? Richie?

Speaker 8 (07:10):
I love me some toppers, so I go to toppers? Good, Yeah, toppers,
a round table.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
My wife likes pop Jones. What a life you got going?

Speaker 4 (07:25):
Hey?

Speaker 1 (07:25):
Where we going for pizza?

Speaker 6 (07:26):
Well?

Speaker 1 (07:26):
I gotta go to my favorite place, Dominoes or your
favorite place, you know, pizza Hut Chicken And.

Speaker 6 (07:35):
That's great.

Speaker 8 (07:35):
Actually pizza has not bad the stuff Crest Pizza, it's
not good either.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
It's not your look. Dominoes is great in a pinge,
but it's not your go to pizza.

Speaker 7 (07:47):
There's there is a place in Uplands and they actually
have two of them. Sambiagis that name alone?

Speaker 1 (07:53):
Will tell you? Yeah, that's good. They know what they're doing. Yeah, Angel,
what's going on with you in Orange County?

Speaker 4 (07:59):
Oh my gosh, I love Saul's Pizza where it's a
mission Paho. There's this thing called the Kaleidoscope Center and
sALS Pizzas and now it's really good.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
Is that closer to the beach or to the freeway.

Speaker 4 (08:15):
It's closer to the freeway. It's right off of Crown
Valley at the five.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
Okay, all right, I don't know exactly who is s
A L s Yess, I'm gonna head down there. I
gotta go to Orange County over the weekend driving traffic
like an idiot. Four hours down there and four hours
back drama, have fun. I can't you know Saturday and
Sunday traffic. Angel, I don't know why this is, and

(08:41):
I don't know. Maybe you have a different opinion, but
I think in LA the traffic is worse on weekends
than it is during the week Absolutely, it does.

Speaker 9 (08:52):
It does.

Speaker 4 (08:53):
And if you if you want to head north or south,
you've kind of do it so early in the morning
before the roads get crazy.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
Yeah, and doesn't make it fun. You know, you got
to leave at four am to get where you're going.
Then you're exhausted by the time you get there, right,
that's right. Yeah, it's dark and it sucks and you
just want to go to sALS and eat yourself to death.

Speaker 10 (09:11):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from KFI
AM six forty.

Speaker 1 (09:18):
All right, have you heard about this? But this kid's
flying around the world to raise money I think for
Saint Jude and trying to raise a million dollars for cancer.
And I think it's youth cancer or juvenile cancer, kids cancer.
And guy was arrested. I unbelievable, just trying to fly

(09:39):
around the world to bring awareness to kids with cancer
and he flies into a country and bang, they arrested.
What's going on with this guy?

Speaker 11 (09:48):
Blobe trotting teenage activist is speaking out after his arrest
during a fundraising trip around the world.

Speaker 12 (09:54):
Attempting to become the first person ever to f had
Awesome Continent solo.

Speaker 11 (09:57):
Ethan Guo is one year in to his flight against cancer,
flying from the US to Europe, to the Middle East
and beyond in hopes of raising one million dollars for
Saint Jude's but his trip was derailed when his flight
from Chile to Argentina took an unexpected turn. Guo telling
Our Danny knew an in flight emergency forced him to

(10:20):
make an unexpected landing on King George Island, a remote
area with strict regulations for incoming air traffic.

Speaker 12 (10:26):
Everything was good for like an hour. Then they came
up to me and then they just told me to
follow them. They didn't say a single word. Then they
told me I was under arrest. I asked them what
am I underrest for.

Speaker 11 (10:36):
On the ground, Chilean authorities accused him of falsifying flight plans,
which could cost him his pilot's license.

Speaker 12 (10:42):
It was an international flight plan, it was approved by
the Chilean government. I had the official Chilean government stamps,
I paid the international fees, I cleared international customs.

Speaker 6 (10:50):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
I did everything right and they still rested him. This
was all documented.

Speaker 11 (10:55):
Guo was barred from leaving until a judge weighed in
on the charges. After more than forty days of waiting. Wow,
he struck a deal this week with the Chilean government.
Officials agreed to drop the charges if he donated thirty
thousand dollars to Chile's childhood cancer research program. Guo says
he's willing to pay the fine because donating to cancer
research was his goal in the first place.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
How about that pinching this kid for thirty grand.

Speaker 11 (11:19):
And he is still waiting for approval to leave Antarctico.

Speaker 1 (11:22):
Oh my god, man, oh man, what a world we live?
In kids, flying around the world trying to raise a
million dollars and they nail him in Chile and want
thirty grand out of this guy. Unreal, unbelievable. All right,
we got a dog, another dog that was stolen. These frenchies, man,

(11:45):
they're expensive, they're valuable. People love them. But you gotta
be aware that there's people out there that want to
steal your dogas This.

Speaker 13 (11:54):
French bulldog is now reunited with its owners after a
disturbing string of events involving scammer looking to profit from
the dog's return. Men Poo, a rescued French bulldog, one
of the mascots of Amazing Small Animal Practice, was being
watched by a staff member's family on Sunday when the
dog escaped through an open window. Later that day, a

(12:14):
post on the Citizen app showed a picture of Men Poo,
posted by a.

Speaker 1 (12:18):
Name the name of the dog. Men pooh Yeah like
men pooh?

Speaker 9 (12:24):
No way some men pooh.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
Yeah, men pooh do they I guess they do, right, Women.

Speaker 13 (12:31):
Pooh men pooh, posted by a neighbor saying they found him,
but when the family arrived to pick him up, they
said the dog had already been handed over to someone else.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
Oh no, no, that's horrible.

Speaker 14 (12:43):
That was like somebody who took one of our children. Yeah,
we couldn't even work, We didn't sleep. It was like
two days of hell here.

Speaker 13 (12:49):
In the days that followed, the practice received countless calls
from scammers trying to cash in on the reward money.
Some called claiming to have men pooh. The practice set
up a location to meet the callers, but they never show.

Speaker 1 (13:02):
Sometimes I have men pooh, you know, sometimes the color
have them.

Speaker 9 (13:05):
It's sometimes the colors demands work daily.

Speaker 1 (13:08):
No, not the dog.

Speaker 6 (13:10):
Well yeah, yeah, don't know.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
And you know, you know sometimes you go light with
that round white pillow.

Speaker 6 (13:15):
You know.

Speaker 13 (13:15):
The colors demands were clear money first, then the dog.
But everything changed on Wednesday yesterday.

Speaker 14 (13:22):
We got a call and they said they had our dog.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
And we said, well, it sounded like men pooh, sound
like men fart.

Speaker 9 (13:28):
But everything changed on Wednesday yesterday.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
There's the dog, there's the dog.

Speaker 9 (13:35):
But everything changed on Wednesday yesterday.

Speaker 14 (13:38):
We got a call and they said they had our dog,
and we said, well, the first thing was described as
something special.

Speaker 9 (13:44):
About the dog, and they said there was a hard
tattoo on the belly.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
Oh, that's okay, that's pretty unusual. That should be easy
to pick up, which nobody.

Speaker 14 (13:51):
Knew except the staff here. And we said that we
wanted them to give us the dog back. They said,
only if the police are not involved.

Speaker 13 (13:58):
The practice told the call to drop off the dog
at the nearest animal hospital, where a microchip scam would
confirm the dog's identity. The scammers managed to get the
family to pay them five thousand dollars through Venmo and.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
Five thousand bucks for the scammers. So you're out your
dog and five grand.

Speaker 13 (14:16):
But Beverly says it was worth it for the sweet
reunion and for the Lancaster Vet Clinic involved in the reunion.

Speaker 9 (14:23):
That moment was priceless.

Speaker 1 (14:25):
You gotta be careful with these dogs, man, oh man,
they're very valuable to resell. People are out there looking
for them in the streets. If you're walking to Frenchy, man,
you've got to be very careful. Everybody in the hospital
is invol on what was happening. So we're like, oh,
you know, we have to see this moment. I came
up with Minpoon.

Speaker 9 (14:42):
The kids overfilled with joy. Mom also overfilled with joy.

Speaker 1 (14:47):
Minpoons overfilled with joy. He just went ahead and like charge.
It was a very sweet thing. The kids love men poom.

Speaker 13 (14:54):
Beverly has advice for anyone finding themselves in this situation.

Speaker 14 (14:58):
If anybody finds the dog, don't hosts the picture because
that's how they got him. The person that found him
put the picture of him on citizens app and just said,
is this your dog? A guy shows up in ten minutes,
ten minutes and took the dog.

Speaker 9 (15:11):
He says, yeah to my dog.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
Wow, man, there are people out there that are that's
it's I don't know how these people sleep at night.
I really don't. I mean, this family obviously loves men pooh,
and they're scamming. They want five grand. Then there's another
guy says, I got the dog. They're torturing this family.

Speaker 14 (15:27):
Ask for identification, ask for microchips and ask for identifying
marks anything. Don't just hand the dog over to anybody.

Speaker 13 (15:35):
And I spoke to Guardiana police earlier who say the owner.

Speaker 9 (15:38):
Got lucky this time.

Speaker 13 (15:40):
Because many ransom cases get out of hand quickly. Scammers
can take advantage of you and you can be out
thousands and never even receive what was stolen. Their advice
contact your local police department right away. Make a report
and let them handle it. So David, in this situation exactly,
they were lucky. But it doesn't always turn out like this.

Speaker 1 (15:59):
Yeah, but they're all about five grands.

Speaker 15 (16:01):
Disturbing in many ways because in the past we've seen
dog stolen because of the value of the dogs, but
now any dog could be of value to any family.
And if these ransoms get bigger, I mean, that's really
tough for the entire community.

Speaker 1 (16:14):
A lot of money involved, all right. Charlie Sheen is
also the news, so we had Jesse Spool in the news.
Charlie Sheen is in the news a documentary he explores
his drug use and also his family feuds that he has.
We'll come back and talk about that.

Speaker 10 (16:28):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from KFI
AM six forty.

Speaker 1 (16:34):
You know, there was the Brinx heist out here in
southern California and where there was like one hundred and
thirty million dollars where the jewelry taken, and then there
was another heightst where there was cash taken. I don't know,
it's like twenty eight million dollars in cash. And now
there's another one in Pennsylvania. People like the Brinks trucks.

(16:54):
They got a lot of dough, lots of money in
the Brinks trucks, and there's a heist in Pennsylvania. I
know what happened back in Pennsylvania.

Speaker 5 (17:02):
Today, an urgent hunt for these two suspects caught on
surveillance cameras robbing the driver of an armored vehicle at gunpoint,
making off with hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
O Ahmart, I'm sure they'll with that description. They'll be
right on it.

Speaker 6 (17:20):
Oh her clad Ahmartchu rob.

Speaker 1 (17:26):
I don't understand. You know, that's some of the most
valuable information in the world, a suspects description, and they
still have these crappy police radios that nobody can understand.
No one's looking for this. It's twenty five, yeah, twenty
twenty five. You know it's it's clear to listen to
a podcast. The show when you're in Africa or South America,

(17:48):
is you know, being ten feet away from where this
guy just said this or this lady said this in Pennsylvania.
Listen again, see if you can pick up the description
of the guys who robbed the Brinks truck.

Speaker 6 (18:00):
HM was.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
All I heard was brain truck was robbed. And by
the way, lady, thanks for the energy and the clarity
in trying to help the thieves out here.

Speaker 6 (18:16):
She's probably an it.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
It was around ten thirty two, passed out afterwards.

Speaker 5 (18:22):
It was around ten thirty Tuesday morning at an h
Mart grocery store in Challengeham, Pennsylvania. In the video, you
see the driver of the armored vehicle carrying a money
bag into the store.

Speaker 6 (18:33):
Oh and what happened?

Speaker 5 (18:36):
Okay, But just before they step inside, you see the
two suspects, guns raised, coming up behind them.

Speaker 1 (18:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (18:43):
And then.

Speaker 1 (18:45):
Yeah, bring truck was robed?

Speaker 6 (18:50):
Was wrong with this?

Speaker 5 (18:51):
People just outside of the camera's view. Police say they
then forced the driver to turn over their weapon and
the bag of money.

Speaker 1 (18:58):
Oh no, was wrong.

Speaker 5 (19:02):
Then you see the suspects again, both wearing masks covering
their heads, taking off, one still pointing the gun at
the driver.

Speaker 13 (19:10):
Yea.

Speaker 1 (19:10):
Whenever I see a brainkstruck and I probably shouldn't do this,
but I do find amusing. Maybe now you know it's
too dangerous. Whatever I see a Brinks truck park like
in front of a Starbucks or a you know, a
seven to eleven or grocery store, I always walk past them,
and I make eye contact with the driver and then
I look at my watch and I look at him
and I look at my watch. And that's probably got

(19:32):
that's probably got to irritate the crap out of him.
I got my daughter doing that too. Yeah, you look
at the brains truck. Look at your watch, back at
the brainstruct three thirty. I know where you're gonna be tomorrow.
Three thirty, buddy, I know what's going on with you. Please,
because that's how that's how brings trucks get from.

Speaker 5 (19:51):
Then you see the suspects again, both wearing masks.

Speaker 1 (19:55):
Hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Speaker 5 (19:56):
Police say they got away with an estimated seven hundred
thousand dollars.

Speaker 16 (20:00):
Oh gosh, the suspects approached, committed the robbery, and fled,
all in the course of fifteen to twenty seconds.

Speaker 6 (20:06):
Wow, And so what happened?

Speaker 1 (20:10):
Thanks lady, the lady with the least amount of energy
and the and the scratchiest, craziest voice in Pennsylvania is
the nine to one one dispatch.

Speaker 5 (20:24):
Right, those shots were fired and no one was injured.

Speaker 1 (20:27):
Why do you need shots fired when you got this
lady looking for you?

Speaker 6 (20:31):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (20:32):
You know, if she gets out the description, your your gold.
You don't have to worry about anything.

Speaker 5 (20:37):
No shots were fired and no one was injured. It's
unclear if the armored car driver had a partner or
was alone. Police say they later found the getaway car,
a black Accurate, but no one inside. Now the suspects
still on the loose, Officials described them as quote two
black males, one armed with an ar fifteen style pistol,
the other with a handgun.

Speaker 1 (20:59):
And what they do.

Speaker 16 (21:03):
A scenario like this is very, very dangerous when there's
firearms involved. Could be, you know, somebody in the area
that doesn't see what's going on gets involved in a gunfight.
So we're definitely concerned this could escalate to somebody getting
seriously andrew.

Speaker 5 (21:14):
Now, other robberies have occurred in this area as well,
and police say they're now investigating whether they might be related.
Just this morning, officials announcing they arrested three individuals who
made off with over two million dollars from an armored
car earlier this summer.

Speaker 1 (21:29):
Oh my god, what happened in that case?

Speaker 5 (21:34):
Olivia Rubin, ABC News, New York.

Speaker 1 (21:36):
Yeah, brains truck was from a job, a great job.
She probably won award, you know, Dispatcher of the Year.
Thanks lady, appreciate you helping us all out. But you know,
my dad always told me said, if you're going to
commit a crime, make sure you can retire on him.

(21:56):
And this is the kind of job you can retire on.
And you get a couple million. And why do the
petty crap? You know, you go and steal a slica
pizza from seven to eleven? Why do that? Why not
go after you know the you know, spend a year
or two. Maybe I shouldn't be telling people how to
do this, but spend a year or two to really
concentrate on a big haul and and then then rob

(22:19):
the brinkstruck. I guess I don't know. I mean, that's
that's where to go. You know. I heard this happened
at a casino in southern California where the Brinks truck
came in on a Monday afternoon at three o'clock and
they came to pick up the weekend's you know take

(22:39):
it was I think it was eight hundred thousand dollars.
And they get to the casino, they show their ID,
they show their badge, and they go back and they say, hey,
we're here to pick up the eight hundred thousand dollars.
And the lady said, she goes, that's very funny. You
were here three hours ago. We already gave it to you.
They gave it to the face brains drivers. Guys had

(23:02):
the truck, the uniforms, the paperwork. They just walked in,
signed the paper, walked out eight hundred thousand dollars in cash.
They never found it either, never found it. I wonder
if that. Let me see before I tell you what
casino it is. Let me see if it's a it's
a story that's out there. One second. Let me see

(23:25):
if okay, yes, okay, let's see. No, it's not out there.
I can't tell you what casino was. But I heard
that story from a guy who works at a local casino,
and he said, it's an absolutely true story. But I
don't think they let it out there because they didn't
want that reputation of being pretty dumb. That's what happened.

(23:50):
Let me see, let me break one one more attempt here,
one more attempt here. No, I can't do it. And
it's a bell ringer man.

Speaker 10 (24:03):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on Demand from KFI
AM six forty.

Speaker 1 (24:08):
I can't tell you what casino that was because I
talked to a friend of mine. He said that story
never got out there, never got out in the public.
But what happened was a casino in southern California had
was robbed by two guys in brinkstruck or armored car outfits,
and then the armored the real armored car guys came
in like five hours later and said, hey, we're here

(24:28):
to pick up the eight hundred thousand dollars, and they said, no,
it's already been picked up, and they stole eight hundred
thousand dollars. Never found the guys, and I guess that
story didn't get out there, so I can't tell you
what casino it was. Sorry, Sorry, I don't want to
get to suit. The greatest radios in the world are
sea crane. You got to pick up a sea crane radio.
And a friend of mine who went to Dodger Stadium
owns a sea crane radio, and he said he brings

(24:51):
it to Dodger Stadium because if you listen to the
pot you know, the Dodger game on Wi Fi, you're
about a minute behind, minute behind the action. So you
got to bring a radio and pick it up live
there at Dodger Stadium, and that's why he does it.

(25:11):
So get yourself a Sea Crane radio. They're really clear,
they're super clear, and it's and it's it's nice and heavy.
That's what you want a radio. You don't want something light.
You know, it's you know, fumfering around and dropping him.
It's a real nice, solid piece of vibe of vibe
equipment to listen to radio stations around the world. You
can actually tune some of theirs into a turn onto

(25:34):
the Internet and listen on Wi Fi and you can
pick up stations around the world. So if you're here
from another country, welcome to the United States, and you
can listen to your home stations on these beautiful radio Seacramee.
They also have the pocket radio. Feel free to buy
one of those and enjoy that. Go to Scrane dot
com see the letters see isn't Charlie then Crane c

(25:55):
r A n E dot com, ccrane dot com. Best
radios in the world at secret And it's nice to
give to somebody if you notice. If you know somebody
who's a big KFI fan, you know you have that
in common where you talk about KFI all the time.
May want a slide them a radio for the holidays.
That's a pretty cool gift. Hey, we have a I

(26:17):
had an earthquake in Mountain Center, California. You know where
that is great? I don't preliminary magnitude three point six
quake on Friday. It's Mountain Center is in idlewhile in
Riverside there were no reports of injuries, structure damage, or

(26:38):
immediate aftermath of the quake. It was at nine forty
three this morning, about eleven miles east of Hemmet. Eleven
miles east of Hemet. I talked to a buddy of
mine in Hemmet today. That's weird odd right after that earthquake.
So the Illin Empire we are a big, big, huge
show in the Inland Empire. I don't know if you

(26:59):
know that we were rated number one by the La
Times in the Inland Empire. Theiedie dot biz. Yeah, it's
a great place. If I were to do it all
over again, I would raise my daughter in the Inland
Empire where it was, where it looks like the valley
did in nineteen seventy nineteen seventy five, big streets, huge

(27:21):
piece of property out there. And if you ever go
to a Low's huge, it's like twice as big as
the Low's here in Burbank. Huge. You got to get
a golf cart to drive around Lows or home depot.
Absolutely massive out there. I love it the I E.
I went last night to karaoke. I know, odd, right,

(27:43):
not a big karaoke guy. And my policy is when
everyone anyone invites me to karaoke, I say no, and
then I blocked them because they don't know they don't
know me evidently. But I went last night. My wife
wanted to go, and it's it's live karaoke. You don't
sing to a box and it's speaker. There's a live
band out there at Sagebrush Cantina out in Calabasas. Love

(28:06):
that place. Oh it's great. It's still one of the
best bars in LA. It's still old school, but it's
got a really cool feel to it. And so went
out there last night and my sister was busting my
balls because we promoted it three times. You know, Hey,
I'm gonna go out there, stop by say hello, what
the hell? And one guy heard it on the radio
and stop by and he's a professional skunk catcher. So

(28:30):
he does for living, he catches skunks. So kind of
a letdown. I'm go out there, Hey, big radio show,
going out to sagebrush. A ton of people out there,
now one guy who tracks skunks. Let's see a wrap
stinky job. That's right, you've nailed it. You crystallize my thoughts.

(28:50):
Put him in Layman's terms. But now everybody can understand
what I was trying to tell you. But I saw
there are three young ladies out there that I went
to school with. I've known them all since seventh grade.
Trish Arnold, who's a big KFI FM, Michelle del Garcio,
and Robin was there as well, and it was great.

(29:12):
It was great the women who I went to school with.
Rob Matowsky was out there with Michelle del Garcio and
Trish Arnold, They and and Jill and I. All the
girls that I went to school with. You know, I've
known some of them since third grade, more of them
since seventh grade in Sino Portola Junior High and then

(29:35):
Birmingham High School. They have all kept it together. There's
like nobody looks like they're ninety. They all still look
like I thought they were sisters. Of the of some
of the women that I went to school with. I
mean that's I mean, I thought they were the daughters
of some of the women I went to school. They
all looked great. I don't know how they did it.
I don't know how they did it, but they all

(29:55):
kept it together. The guys all looked like hell, but
the women all kept it together. It was nice to
see that. It's nice to see, you know, friends that
that I made in seventh grade and that I haven't
I haven't seen uh, you know these Uh, I haven't
seen some of them since you know, high school or
or you know, first year of college. But I've known

(30:15):
them all since seventh grade. Rob Mentoski, Trish Arnold, and
Michelle de Garcia alsince the seventh grade. The valley is
so small, yeah, yet so big. It was cool. We
always we always drove the rode the bus together. I remember,
I remember Rob Matovsky stops. She would get off at
Zelza and and Ventura. I mean, I still remember that.

(30:36):
It's like something stupid information or should get off it.
She lived on Zelza and and uh in Venture and
then would get off at like white Oak in Ventor.
But I knew everybody stop on the rt D, you know,
the public transportation. Back then, I knew where they lived,
and it was just even though we grew up in
Tarzana and then in so you know, it was it
was a much smaller community. There was a lot more

(30:58):
freedom back then. You know, could ride their bikes in
third grade all around the valley and parents wouldn't worry
about him. Now in third grade, you can't do that,
you know.

Speaker 8 (31:06):
There's too many idiots out That's why there's so many
iPad babies. They just stay out. Yeah, you're right, it's
it's safe out there, exactly right. They can't be on
the two forty. That's right, exactly.

Speaker 1 (31:16):
Anyway, thank you everybody for this week, all the people
who donated to the GoFundMe for Steph Fush. We'll have
an update on him next week. We'll get some more
information on him. I'm taking week off to go spend
time with Steph Fush. I felt like I sort of,
you know, let him down, and I didn't teach him
how to drive properly. So I'm going to go spend
a week in the hospital with him and just sit

(31:38):
with them and hold his hand. So I'm going to
be out next week in the hospital with step Fus
just hanging out with him. So sorry. I'll be back
a week after that Conway show on demand on the
iHeartRadio app. Now, you can always hear us live on
kf I Am six forty four to seven pm Monday
through Friday, and anytime on demand on the iHeart Radio app.
