Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's k IF. I am six forty and you're listening
to the Conway Show on demand on the iHeartRadio app.
Weather coming in tomorrow and Friday. So we will get

But rain is coming. You want to hear it now? Okay?
All right, all right, god it mighty. Have turned into
(00:22):
the rain guy. I've turned into the weather man here.
That's all I am. All I get is email. The
only email I get is hey, when is it going
to storm next? How much rain did we have? We
got literally twenty five emails, and twenty four of from
we're rain related and the twenty fifth one was to
Ken Champeau. It wasn't even the me and so I've
turned into the weather guy. And I guess that I
(00:44):
don't know. I guess that's okay. I don't want to
be I don't want to be stereotyped or what is
that typecast? I don't want to be typecast. It's just
the weather guy. But if that's what you want, that's
what I'll give you. Rain man, that's what I am.
I'm the rain man. That's sort of insulting. I guess
I don't know. Was the rain man was Was he
a positive thing? I mean, but he was like a
(01:06):
semi handicapped or sorry, I must use the r throw
some toothpicks on the floor so you can count them. Yeah,
but ultimately he was smarter than everybody else.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
Yeah, wellyeah smarter.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:17):
Well there you go, Ding dong. I like it now,

in general moving through the south Land.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
It's Old Front moving. You mean the forty seven degrees
it was in Burbank last night is not cold enough.
It's gonna get colder. It felt like I was in
Big Bear last night. I walked outside around eleven o'clock
last night, forty seven degrees.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
It's good sleeping weather though right.
Speaker 1 (02:14):

talk about that moment entarely a quick look across the nation,
you could see we're not looking at any significant weather systems,
but there's a lot of snow that continues to fall
(02:42):
throughout the southern sections of Utah all the way just
to the north of Albuquerque in New Mexico. So these
are areas that you can see shaded in Frida, includes
up there near the Rockies in Colorado. Picking up a
winter weather advisory.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
Into who cares? Who cares?
Speaker 4 (02:57):
It's Colorado five o'clock this afternoon, and so once again
we're seeing a little bit of a race mixed through
the four corner states.
Speaker 1 (03:04):

port going to join that at about fifty three degrees
and the usual suspects, those being Newark Airport, LaGuardia. They
continue to see someone.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
Yeah, how about the smart and final in your Belinda.
Speaker 4 (03:44):
Heavier airport delays that are taking place today here in
southern California. Again, we are seeing mostly dry conditions to
wap around. Wish you're moving through the in Friday Orange,
Come on into your center, Margarita and then across the
border with on towards the northern sections of San Diego County,
clouds up in the mountains, and right there you can
(04:05):
see we're just starting to see that cold air mixing
it up with some moisture, giving Big Bear today a
little bit of a hit of some light snow showers.
More on the way tomorrow and definitely late Thursday night
into Friday morning. Currently once again temperatures into the sixties
and fifties for much of southern California. Whether headlines will
see the next storm arriving tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
Okay, here we go, here we go. We finally made it.
We're done with Phoenix, Colorado, Miami, and New York.
Speaker 4 (04:29):
Sticking around through at least a Friday afternoon and evening. No, no, no,
sticking around through at least a Friday afternoon and evening.
That means mountain snow. Rain also could be heavy at times.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
I'm doomed. These kids are gonna starve. These kids are
gonna starve to death. That's so horrible.
Speaker 4 (04:52):
Could be heavy at times.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
These Caterina kids are just gonna be you know, they're
gonna say can I have some all? And they're like,
we don't have any more more, please, sir nursa don't
have any more?
Speaker 4 (05:03):
Could be heavy at times. Drive for the weekend forecast.
Speaker 1 (05:06):
Cares about the weekend will be.
Speaker 4 (05:07):
Done and temperatures will continue to stay cool as we
march on through too much of next week's forecast. Here's
a cold front coming out of northern California. Rain throughout
the day tomorrow once again, especially into the afternoons and evenings.
Unsettled for the remainder of this Wednesday afternoon, a little
bit of a breakthrough the midnight hour. Don't worry about
a thing.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
Okay, don't worry about the thing. Midnight Thursday, and.
Speaker 4 (05:27):
Here we go eight nine am. Maybe just some late
drizzle along some of the coastal sections, but the cold
front comes through southern California through the noon hour and
primarily up in Ventura Santa Barbara, Los Angeles County, swinging
east into Orange County and the Inland Empire.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
What a weather pattern we're having so far this year
in November. I mean, it's like every few days we
get to buy another major storm.
Speaker 4 (05:49):
A little bit later on Tomorrow afternoon, definitely into the evening,
and a little bit more that wrap around moisture by
early Friday morning, even some snowshowers continuing into the local
mountains of downtown, going for the upper fifties to low
sixties to the next all right.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
So it looks like it might rain, but don't let
the rain stop you. Your Belinda's beautiful. It never rains
in your Belinda as none o. That song goes all right,
never rains in your Ballino. And the kids they need
their pasta. They got to get these kids out of fed.
You know, if you're gonna if you're gonna woosy out
(06:25):
just because it's raining and those kids are hungry, you're
gonna feel horrible about yourself.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
Man, it pours.
Speaker 1 (06:30):
Yeah, pasta pores. We got to get you out there.
We're gonna be out there at twenty one five hundred

working an extra hour of overtime and not getting compensated.
(06:51):
I found that out today from our program directly.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
Yeah, so yes, I shouldn't ask that.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
I guess this charity is keeps on giving, keep on giving.
For the first two hundred and fifty people that show up.
You're gonna get a special gift bag. We have no idea. Yeah, right,
we have no idea what's in it? Could just be
a bag.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
I love that.
Speaker 5 (07:09):
It's two hundred and fifty. Man, that's a lot. So
we got room. Yeah, so Smart and Finals.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
So we got room.
Speaker 1 (07:14):
That's right. That's right. Hey, when you click that, does
my mic go off?
Speaker 2 (07:17):
What's up?
Speaker 1 (07:18):
Oh, it's just it's clicking in my ear. Okay, that's
the click for the time. Take a break. Oh man,
they usually ignore those. So we're gonna be out there
Friday from four to eight pm, and then Neil Savadra
will be there on Saturday. Oh, he'll be at Wendy's
in Mission Viejo on Saturday. Two three zero, two to two.
(07:38):
That's the easy number. Remember two three and then zero
and then take away one. So two three zero two
two Alicia Parkway and you'll be out there from two
to five pm. So come on out there, Smart and Final.
You can donate any money you want, any amount of
money you wanted to check out stand Wendy's. You go
to Wendy's any Wenday's in southern California. Donate five dollars

you can drop off saw us and pasta and donations
at my friends at number one Collision Center in Coasta Mesa,
twenty seven to fifty Bristol Street. If you're taking Poston,
they're taking posta donations right now. So that's pretty cool.
Go to k I AM six forty dot com slash
pasta than it's Conway Show We come back. Monks is
with us and he's always uh oh oh yeah, he's
(08:20):
always interesting. There you go.
Speaker 6 (08:23):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from kf
I AM six forty.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
We are joined by Michael Monks. How you buff? I
am Well, what a nice break from the rain. Yeah,
for a little while. We're sitting in Burbank right now
it is mostly clear, a little bit of clouds around
the hills, but you know you're gonna see over the
next week, these these hills are going to green up
as soon as we get some sun. And the whole
state of California. If you fly to you know, Seattle
(08:51):
or Portland, whatever, you're gonna see nothing but green over
the entire state, which is pretty rare and that's a
real beautiful thing.
Speaker 7 (08:58):
Do these mountains outside office in Burbank do they get snow?
Speaker 1 (09:01):
Captain they I saw those get snow on them back
in the nineteen seventies or eighties. That's it. Oh, we
had global cooling.
Speaker 7 (09:09):
I can see the ones from downtown are beautiful when
they're Oh.
Speaker 1 (09:12):
You could see them Mount Baldy and oh and water
Band all that. Yeah, it's it's sensatial. There's nothing like
You're right, you know, you've always said the skyline of
la is beautiful. Just don't look down. That's exactly right. Right.
You don't have many cities, He's not the only one.
Speaker 7 (09:26):
But to have the mountains in the backdrop right with
those big, big buildings, there's nothing like it.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
And there's never There's not a single stadium in the
world like Dodger Stadium where it's in the middle of
the city, directly in the middle of the city, yet
from every seat you can't see any of the city.
It's all hills and focusing only on show. Hey, yes,
that's right. And I don't know if you heard they
won another World Series. I heard all of it. Yeah,
the Red Stock I was sitting in that chair when
(09:51):
it happened the orange stock monitoring or red stocking the
red stags.
Speaker 7 (09:55):
Look, it was only during the fifties, during the Commi
scare at the Cincinni Rids had to go by the
red legs so as not to be brought before any
Senate commits. Oh, is that why they did that? Yeah, Oh,
I didn't know that. You weren't around in the fifties. Now,
that was I But it was a hairy time. Yes,
it was Harry time. And right, I know a guy
that was blacklisted. You know your family's Hollywood connections. I
bet you knew some people. I knew a couple of people.
Speaker 1 (10:16):
You know. My dad was going to do my roll
Freddie Roll and dwarfon communism and never got around to him.
That's too bad. That probably would have been a blockbuster.
That would have been nice. Yeah, especially at this time. Yeah,
you wouldn't be living in Burbank. He'd be close to
the water. Beverly Hills, Buddy, Beverly Hills. What's going out
with the lawsuits downtown? We got a big controversy. Well,
here's the deal.
Speaker 7 (10:36):
La County has settled the largest sex abuse claims in
American history, I mean bigger than the Boy Scouts, bigger
than the.
Speaker 1 (10:43):
Catholic Church four billion, four billion.
Speaker 7 (10:46):
It's actually closer to five billion now because there's a
separate lump sum of settlements there that came through for
another eight hundred and twenty eight million. But as for
that initial four billion dollar settlement, we learned through an
investigation by the La Times, that's some of these folks
who filed claims and are set to be paid did
not get sexually abused real at all. They were picked
(11:08):
up outside of government agencies, maybe getting Social Security or
food stamps or something like that, and a law firm
approached and, according to the Times, and this law firm
denies it. But you know, hey, we'll give you some
bucks if you come and say you were sexually abused
by county workers.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
Okay, but here's why I think that they shouldn't have
done that. First of all, it's not ethical. But me
is they had to tell the County of Los Angeles
we could get eight billion, but rolling in to take
four because we didn't want to bankrupt you, so they
didn't need those extra people.
Speaker 7 (11:40):
The problem is that four billion may bankrupt the county
because it is really put a dent into the county's
financial picture and their long term planning. They'll be paying
for this through twenty fifty two, how many how many
kids or thousands one? And it dates back to the
fifties some of the earlier cases. And these is usually
like probation or parks or those types of employees. But
and nobody dropped the dime on this guy. Are these
(12:01):
people that did it? Huh No, So you get the settlement. Now,
some things have taken place since the report came out
in the La Times, including what happened today, which was
this remark by La County DA Nathan Hoffman.
Speaker 8 (12:17):
So with respect to these fraudsters, and we estimate that
there are a significant number of fraudsters involved in these
settlement claims, in these fraudulent settlement claims, we're going to.
Speaker 9 (12:30):
Go after them. We're going to go after them aggressively. Good,
We're going to go after them to put them behind bars,
and we're going to go after them to send a
message to any potential fraudulent claimants in the future. Good,
you will be arrested, you will be prosecuted, and you
(12:50):
will be punished.
Speaker 1 (12:52):
Okay, here's why I give a break, and I don't
often give breaks to law firms. But if I went
to a law firm and said I was sexually abused,
it's not up to let law firm to investigate me.
It's up to me to tell the truth whether I
was sexually abused.
Speaker 7 (13:09):
Well, it might be up to the law firm to
investigate you, to make sure that they're well.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
But they can't investigate thousands and thousands of people. It
goes all the way back to the fifth.
Speaker 7 (13:15):
Regardless of that, it should be up to the county
to investigate. Don't you think that's right? I mean, these
are our dollars, that's exactly what are being used here.
And to find out that he says, significant number of fraudsters.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
And we don't have any money anyway. Now we're exactly right.
L Johnny was in bad shape as it was. Now
this is even worse.
Speaker 7 (13:33):
And to know that you could basically be standing in
the food stamp line allegedly approached by a law firm
and told the sign of paper that said you were
sexually abused, and to get a payout from the government.
Speaker 1 (13:47):
I mean, how where do I sign? Where's all the
money going?
Speaker 7 (13:51):
How much more money in other areas is being divvied
out without proper checks and balances or investigations.
Speaker 1 (13:57):
It is a three D house of not only fraudulent
people bought aggressive pigs that you know that don't care
about La County. They just want their yacht, their home
in Beverly Hills, and their you know, their Skishala and Aspen.
Speaker 7 (14:12):
Since this happened, in addition to this investigation by the
La County DA's office, LA County Board of Supervisors has
also adopted a plan to review the cases finally after settling.
And they have also ordered a review of whether they
can block people from soliciting outside of their facility.
Speaker 1 (14:32):
Oh, that shouldn't be legal either. That shouldn't be legal.
All right, quick update on the cat. How's does Oh
they're great, Doc and Milo.
Speaker 7 (14:38):
Of course I found a cat last Monday and in
the rain, brought her in, brought her in a little baby.
She's about fifteen months old, they estimate, And we already
had a cat. We live in a loft, open loft.
Could not separate them the way that you should when
you're introducing a new cat. But it looks like Milo,
the original cat, is no longer hissing at dus good.
(14:59):
Instead he he's trying a little too aggressively to engage
her in play, but she remembers the first couple of
days where he was kind of mean to her, and
she's not ready for it.
Speaker 1 (15:07):
So that's what we're dealing with right now. Lot going on,
not going on in the law of downtown. Yeah, who
argues more in the law You? You guys? Are you
and your spouse or the cats?
Speaker 7 (15:17):
We get along great real In fact, we were all
on the big couch yesterday. I was like, what a
lovely family photo this. It's a nice Thanksgiving show. Indeed,
Now are you going home for thanks Aging? No, I'll
be here in Downtown La cooking up something.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
Excellent, buddy. Thanks for coming in seven to nine pm
on Saturday. I'll be there, all right. Michael Monks.
Speaker 6 (15:33):
Everybody, you're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from
KFI AM six forty.
Speaker 1 (15:41):
We'll see in your Belinda and Leslie. You coming down
to your Belinda? Yeah, all right, Less he's going to
be there, Leslie. In sales, do you anything else? Okay?
All right, very good. That's a great saleswoman, Leslie, I
tell you, man. Yeah, she's on top of it for you.
(16:03):
If you want to sell something on the station, I'd
call that woman. Yeah, let's lead green. She's good, she's good.
All right, let's talk about her Mosa Beach. We don't
give Hermosa much love on the show, but we are
now there's a bubbling off of the coast, a mysterious
bubbling off her Mosa Beach that's puzzling residents. What could
(16:24):
this possibly be? Is this an old you know, oil
rig that is uh leaking? Is it natural gas? Is
it just trapped air? What is this thing?
Speaker 10 (16:35):
It's so big you can see it from shore. What
is that bubbling up under the water off so cow
Mike Rogers even getting calls about this, coming into the desk,
he made some calls to get some answers.
Speaker 11 (16:46):
Mike, what did you find out?
Speaker 1 (16:47):
This guy, Mike Rogers is great. He should be an
anchor over there at k CAL CBS. They always go
to him and he has all the information, all of it.
Speaker 12 (16:55):
Yeah, so it's not an alien. It is also not
whale flatulence. To some people on face book indicated it
might be. This is what's bubbling off the coast of
Hermosa Beach and it's been causing some stir for residence
throughout the last couple of days they see it from
the shoreline. And then this video is from our friend
Bow who actually went out there and flew a drone
over the top of it. Now, I want to show
you some more video here, and we'll start with what
Bow shot. Bow from bow Bridges shot from the shore
(17:17):
where you can actually kind of see.
Speaker 1 (17:18):
The Water's name, there's bow Bridges.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
Yeah, I don't think it's the other bow Bridges.
Speaker 12 (17:23):
Bow from bow Bridges shot from the shore where you
can actually kind of see the water kind of moving
about out there. That's what first caught people's attention.
Speaker 1 (17:29):
Then Bow went and got a.
Speaker 12 (17:31):
Much better look at it, and is this It's just
water that's bubbling off up the up the seafloor here
out on the Pacific Ocean. And here's some still photos
of it. But you know a lot of people actually
generally wondering what is going on with there. So much
show that some people took paddle boards out there. We've
also heard that other people swam out there.
Speaker 1 (17:46):
Well today, there's a good idea swim out there in
the rain water when there's feces buzzing by you to
find out what's leaking in the ocean. There's some gamblers
out there in Hermosa.
Speaker 12 (17:58):
We were finally able to get to the bottom of it.
I want to show you some video from Skycow. Skycal
gets there and we look just off the coast here
and we see this boat. Well, we were able to
figure out who operates the boat, and I called the contractor.
What this is is this is underwater fiber lines that
run from the West coast all the way to Asia.
Speaker 3 (18:15):
Wow.
Speaker 12 (18:15):
And what they're doing is they're cleaning them out. And
the process of cleaning them out, they blow a lot
of air through the line and that causes it's come through.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
Okay, all right, So it's just fiber optic lines going
from here to China, Japan, Vietnam, Korea and then bubble
up to the surface.
Speaker 12 (18:30):
They're doing this because Meta is apparently about to rent
some space on this line and they need to have
room to add to that, so they'll be back here
in the spring.
Speaker 1 (18:37):
I'm told, how about that job. How about you get
that job where they call you up US Marine Fiber
Optic Line is going to help you. Yeah, Can you
guys stretch out a line from Hermosa Beach to Seoul.
What Yeah, could you put a line down? We're going
to go from Herosa beach to a Soul, Korea. Okay,
(19:00):
it's gonna cost you some money. We're meta, we don't
care charged by the foot, and it's gonna take some time.
It's gonna take some time to get that charged by
the foot. I bet they do to get that work
done there.
Speaker 12 (19:12):
You see some of the divers that have gone down there,
but it really didn't If I want to come up
herecause come here, Dave, I want.
Speaker 1 (19:16):
To show them this. This is this kind of sophisticated.
Is that a dog is Dave the dog?
Speaker 12 (19:20):
Come here, Dave?
Speaker 1 (19:21):
I want to is Dave is here?
Speaker 10 (19:24):
Man?
Speaker 1 (19:25):
Is that one of the anchors?
Speaker 12 (19:26):
Come here, Dave?
Speaker 1 (19:26):
I want to marry Dave. Yeah, yo yo, Dave, come here,
Come here to Dave. I want to show them this.
Dave doesn't know cam here. That's what I always used
to say to my mom until she got really pissed.
My mom said, Tim Kmire, I'm like, I don't know
came here's You're going to know it. You're gonna know it, network,
(19:49):
You're gonna know it and feel it. Everything's gonna come
together with you you're gonna in the in the future,
you're gonna know came here.
Speaker 12 (19:55):
This kind of sophisticated network of underwater fibre lines. Of course,
I went down a rabbit hole after I learned about
underwater fiber lines, and I was really surprised to see
how much actually exists across the world. But no, not aliens,
just some fiber lines that are being cleaned out guys.
Speaker 1 (20:08):
You know, those are also very very difficult to lay
down on the on the seafloor because much like you
know on land, you do have vast canyons like the
Grand Canyon underneath the Pacific. So these guys have to
figure how to put it on top of these canyons
so they don't have to spend another you know, four
(20:29):
or five thousand miles going up and down these huge canyons.
Speaker 2 (20:33):
And they got to map it out there.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
Yeah, they got to map it out, and they have
to be very precise and where they put it. And
they also have to avoid ships dragging their anchors as well,
because that's happened in the past. And her Mo it
happened in Orange County where one of those big tankers
dropped an anchor and then dragged it across the ocean
floor and broke one of those pipelines, one of those
(20:55):
oil pipelines. So that happens a lot as well. What
does that dime was of Huntington Bach. That's right, Yes,
that's exactly right. Yeah, you get the star for the
news tonime, get that news star. All right, we're all
going to be out at Hermosa and we don't care
if it's raining. We're going and you're going. You're going.
Just plan on showing up. You know, bring an umbrella
(21:16):
if you have to, that's cool. I'm sorry, we're going
to do Sorry, we're doing another one. Okay, well this
is Hermosa as well. Let's stand on the bubble Island
and do one. But we're going to be down in
Yorba Linda. It is going to be Friday from four
to eight pm. It's the day after tomorrow. It's going
to be a core revote. It's right off the ninety
(21:37):
one two to one five zero zero Yorba Linda Boulevard,

Speaker 1 (23:04):
What a time to be in southern California, right before
the holidays. Everything's cool, freezing outside and Thanksgiving is one
week from tomorrow. You have one week to get prepared
for Thanksgiving a week not ready? Are you staying in town?
(23:27):
You have friends, family, We got family coming over, her family. Wow,
so you got to spruce the place up.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
This weekend.
Speaker 1 (23:36):
We're doing the same thing, but our family can't make
it till Saturdays. So we get extra two days. And
guess who gets to buy a cheap turkey on Friday
after Thanksgiving?
Speaker 2 (23:46):
Hey man, that's the deal, right, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (23:48):
I get to save a ton of money this year.
Speaker 2 (23:51):
I do not.
Speaker 5 (23:53):
We ordered our turkey from a place in Claremont, like
a butcher. Yeah really, Wolf's Market, which has apparently been
in the building that it's in on Route sixty six
there for almost since its inception, like one hundred years.
Speaker 2 (24:09):
Yeah, they do.
Speaker 5 (24:10):
They do a little Thanksgiving thing. So we just get
the turkey and everybody else's bringing sides and stuff.
Speaker 1 (24:14):
How big is the turkey?
Speaker 2 (24:15):
Like a twenty pound?
Speaker 1 (24:16):
Oh that's cool.
Speaker 2 (24:17):
Yeah, maybe eight to ten people coming, so.
Speaker 1 (24:19):
Really that's a big deal. I think we have let
me see four, five, six, I think we have seven people.
Speaker 5 (24:26):
And Jen likes to make it like special, So we
got to make a drink or two and have them
ready ahead of time. They maybe have a couple like
interactive game sort of thing.
Speaker 1 (24:35):
Yeah, we do the same thing, puzzles and crap like that.
Is anyone staying over? No, yeah, we got people staying.
Oh no, it's gonna be fun. Oh look at the time,
gotta get out of here. All right, let's talk about
housing here. There are some hidden costs of home ownership
(24:55):
in southern California that a lot of people really don't
talk about. But it's like going to Vegas and getting
a seventy dollars room and then when you go to
check out, it's one hundred and forty dollars because of
all the add ons. Well, home ownership hidden costs in
Southern California. Let's get a new study finds it.
Speaker 13 (25:12):
Yeah, when you're gonna buy a house, it's not just
about the sale price and the mortgage rate. There are
other costs that you need to factor in as well.
This analysis from Zillo and Thumbtack, which is an online
platform for home services, finds it so called hidden costs
can add nearly sixteen thousand dollars to your annual home
owning costs.
Speaker 1 (25:33):
Wait sixteen thousand dollars a year.
Speaker 13 (25:35):
These costs can include average property taxes as well as maintenance,
and that means average mortgage payments that now run about
twenty three hundred dollars a month will typically rise by
more than thirteen hundred dollars a month week. When these
extra costs are factored in. On an annual basis, you'd
have to brace yourself for about three thousand dollars average property.
Speaker 1 (25:58):
That story's bummed me out. Let's talk about Dick Van Dyke.
Dick Van Dyke is going to be one hundred years old,
one hundred. When's his birthday? You know, I think it's

(28:34):
couple of survivor. Let's tell me about it.
Speaker 11 (28:37):
And now he's letting us in on some of his
secrets for living to one hundred. What's the one question
that people ask you the most as you're approaching you
know this, this centennial mark.
Speaker 3 (28:47):
Why are you still walking around one?
Speaker 11 (28:50):
The answer, never stop singing.
Speaker 3 (28:53):
Singing is the best thing you can do for yourself.
Usually I'll wake up with an old tune going through
my head. They call her fivolous, south of aculiar, sort
of a goal a while, sort of devil ooh dead
on a level was my old heal.
Speaker 1 (29:08):
That sounds exactly like my uncle Tom. Uncle Tom sounded
exactly like that what he's saying.
Speaker 3 (29:13):
A while, sort of devil ooh dead on a level
was my old heal.
Speaker 11 (29:17):
With Dick Van Dyke show bringing his unique brand of
physical comedy into America's living room, the Automa, how did
that come about?
Speaker 3 (29:26):
In one rehearsal, I came in.
Speaker 1 (29:28):
Oh where he tripped over the Automan and did a
cartwheel in the opening of Dick Van Dyke For you
people who were under ninety, I.
Speaker 3 (29:35):
Came in and just fell over it for fun, and
Carl liked it and left it in.
Speaker 11 (29:39):
But it was a call from Walt Disney that landed
Van Dyke the role that would make him unforgettable.
Speaker 1 (29:46):
