thirty four, and Tanika Bromley, aged thirty three, are accused
of killing the seventeen year old and moving her body
from a national park near Bunderberg. The pair who lived
with Phoebe, faced court today. Police say Phoebe was last
seen on May fifteen, after booking a flight to visit

her boyfriend. She never boarded the plane. Investigators alleged she
was killed and her body was moved from the good
Night Scrub National Park. Her remains have not been found,
but police are continuing to search the area. Wood n
Bromley also face charges of interfering with the Corps. Detectives
say they believe they know the motive, but won't comment further.

Former teacher Chris Dawson has lost his appeal against a
conviction for sexually abusing a student before the murder of
his wife in nineteen eighty two. The New South Wales
Court of Criminal Appeal dismissed the seventy six year old's
legal challenge this morning. He is already serving a sentence
for killing his wife, Lynette, more than forty years ago.
Dawson was found guilty last year of having unlawful sexual

argued the girl was over seventeen at the time, but
judges found her evidence, while inconsistent in parts, was credible overall.
The appeal court ruled the original trial judge was correct
to consider all the evidence, including Dawson's grooming behavior and
written messages. Dawson's total sentence is twenty four years. His
