In this update, Ukraine says it needs to be present
in peace talks going forward. President Vladimir Zelenski wasn't invited
to a high profile summit between US President Donald Trump
and his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin in Alaska. They met
for nearly three hours and both expressed interest in having

further meetings, but failed to get a ceasefire deal in Ukraine.
CNN's Ben Wedeman Sazzelenski will now travel to Washington, DC
to meet with Donald Trump this week.
