SPEAKER_00 (00:06):
Welcome back to the
Beacode by Tiffany.
Today's episode is one that sitsat the core of the Beacode
because it's about power, wherewe give it away and how we take
it back.
And there's one habit thatquietly drains our energy and it
clouds our perception and itkeeps us stuck without us even
realizing it.
And that habit is complaining.
Because here's the truth (00:30):
where
your focus goes, your life
flows.
I'm sure you've heard thatbefore.
And the B-Code is not aboutpretending that life is perfect,
it's about becoming conscious ofwhere your energy lives.
So let me ask you something.
Do you know those people whenyou ask, How are you?
and they immediately startlisting everything that's wrong?
(00:52):
Or if we're being honest, haveyou ever been that person?
I know I have.com slash B CodeStarter Guide.
(01:56):
Download it today and startliving your B Code.
So from the B code perspective, complaining isn't bad in itself.
It's unconscious, right?
Complaining happens when a womanhas momentarily forgot her
power.
Not because she's weak, butbecause she's overwhelmed,
(02:18):
unseen, or possibly disconnectedfrom herself.
Complaining becomes a defaultwhen we feel out of control or
we want validation, or we justwant someone to see our pain.
But here's what happens whencomplaining becomes a habit.
Your brain starts scanning forproof that life is against you.
And trust me, your brain willfind it.
(02:40):
Your nervous system stays in astate of constant stress, and
you slowly lose access togratitude, creativity, and even
clarity.
You don't stop having goodthings happen.
You just stop seeing them.
I want to share a moment thatchanged everything for someone I
(03:01):
met.
I was attending a meditationclass and there was a woman
there who stood out, and notbecause she was loud, but
because of her energy.
Every time someone asked her,How are you doing?
She responded with a fullinventory of what was going
wrong in her life.
And people listened, theynodded, and of course they
validated.
(03:21):
And one day I asked her myself, and she did the same thing.
And I listened fully and Iacknowledged her, and I let her
know that she was seen.
And then I gently asked hersomething that changed
everything.
I said, Wow, that seems like alot.
So what's going on in your liferight now that's positive?
(03:45):
She paused and she thought.
And then instantly her entirebody shifted.
Her shoulders dropped, herposture changed, her voice
softened, her energy lifted.
She paused again, and then shestarted naming all of the
amazing, beautiful things goingon in her life.
(04:07):
Things that she hadn't beenassessing or accessing, I should
say.
And I said to her, Wow, youactually have a lot of amazing
things going on right now.
And she looked at me and shesaid, Wow, yeah, you're right.
I never thought of it that way.
And that moment was a B-codeawakening.
(04:30):
Eventually she became a client.
And today she still catchesherself when she slips into
complaining mode.
And that becomes a default modefor a lot of people.
I know it was for me for awhile, but now she knows how to
choose again.
And she catches herself everymoment.
And it's not that we don't havebad things happening in our
(04:51):
life.
It's not that we can't tell atrusted friend.
But when you continually talkabout only the negative things
in your life, that's what you'regoing to bring into your life.
That's going to be the energy, that's going to be your mindset,
that's going to be who you drawinto your life.
So this particular person thatI'm talking about, she has
(05:12):
completely switched her mindset.
And she has become a way morepositive person who's attracting
way more positive things in herlife.
And it's so amazing to watch.
(05:34):
So be for bold.
Bold women don't deny theirfeelings, but they're bold
enough to tell themselves thewhole truth.
Complaining is often feardisguised as conversation.
And boldness says, I canacknowledge what's hard without
letting it define me.
And bold women ask, what part ofthis do I have power over right
(05:58):
now?
I for independent.
Complaining often means we'reoutsourcing our emotional
regulation.
Independent women don't wait tobe rescued.
They don't live in victimhood.
They process and then leadthemselves forward.
Independence says I canemotionally support myself even
(06:20):
when life feels heavy.
T for tenacious.
Complaining is easy, right?
Reframing takes tenacity.
So tenacious women catchthemselves, redirect their
focus, and they stay committedto growth.
Tenacity is choosing again andagain and again until it becomes
(06:44):
your new default.
See for confident.
Confidence isn't pretendingeverything is fine.
Confidence is trusting that Ican handle this, I will find my
way, and this moment does notdefine me.
Confident women don't need torehearse their pain to validate
(07:05):
it.
And lastly, H for honest.
This is the deepest layer, Ifeel like.
Honest women tell themselves thefull story, including what's
still good.
And that's the B code.
(07:35):
Hard things happen, losshappens, challenges happen,
right?
We all have them.
But even in difficult seasons, there is always something
grounding us.
Uh maybe a roof over your heador food to eat, your breath for
crying out loud, your health, aloyal animal, maybe a friend, or
(07:57):
just a tree outside your window.
When we only focus on what'swrong, we become blind to
everything that's right.
And blindness is what keeps usstuck.
So here's your B-code practicetoday.
And for the next seven days, actually.
Before you complain, I want youto pause and I want you to ask
(08:17):
yourself, is this something Ineed support with?
Or is this my default patternspeaking?
And then ask, what is one thingthat is good right now?
And say it out loud.
Your body will feel the shiftimmediately.
(08:40):
And of course, in every episode,I'm going to do my flip the
switch.
So these are the three C's forcomplaining.
I want you to catch it,challenge it, and then choose
it.
So maybe you catch yourselfsaying, I notice I'm
complaining.
Now I want you to challenge it.
And I want you to ask yourself,is this the only truth right
(09:02):
now?
And then most importantly,choose again.
And ask yourself, what is onething that I can focus on that
empowers me?
Here's a short little mantra.
Catch the complaint, challengethe story, and then choose the
focus.
So my intention for you is notthat you never complain, because
(09:23):
life is real, challenges arereal, and emotions are
definitely real.
My intention is that complainingno longer becomes the place that
you live and that it stops beingyour default setting, your go-to
response, or the story that youunconsciously rehearse every
time someone asks you how youare.
My intention is that you beginto recognize when complaining is
(09:46):
no longer serving you and whenit no longer is helping you
process, but quietly keeping youstuck.
I want you to become aware ofthe moment that you start
listing everything that's wrongand not to judge yourself, but
to lovingly pause and askyourself, is this the only truth
right now?
(10:07):
My intention is that youremember who you are through the
B-I-T-C-H lens, and that youallow yourself to be bold enough
to acknowledge what's hardwithout letting it define your
entire life, and that you stepinto your independence by
learning how to self-soothe,self-lead, and self-support
(10:28):
instead of handing your poweraway to the problem.
And that you stay tenacious, catching yourself, redirecting
your focus, and then choosingagain, even when your old
patterns try to pull you back, because they will.
And that you lead withconfidence, trusting that you
can handle discomfort withoutrehearsing it out loud over and
(10:52):
over again.
And that you remain honest withyourself, not just about what
hurts, but about what's stillgood and still working and still
worthy of your attention.
And my intention for you is thatyou stop identifying as someone
who is always dealing withsomething, and start seeing
(11:13):
yourself as someone who iscapable, resourced, and
grounded, even in the middle oflife's challenges, and that you
learn to visit your pain withoutbuilding a home there, and that
you remember your words carryenergy every time they are
spoken.
And your energy is actuallyshaping your life.
(11:34):
And when you catch yourselfslipping into complaining, you
don't shame yourself, you simplyflip the switch.
And you flip the switchconsistently.
You catch it, you challenge it,and you choose again.
Because you are not here to livein lack, you are here to be
defined by what's right, notwhat's wrong.
(11:56):
You are here to live theB-I-T-C-H code with awareness,
intention, and self-respect.
And that is where your powerlives.
As we close, I want you to takethis with you.
(12:17):
Where your focus goes, yourenergy flows.
And not because life is alwayseasy, but because your attention
is powerful.
So really be aware of where youplace your attention.
Complaining doesn't mean you'renegative, it just means in that
moment your power has slippedout of your awareness.
And the moment you become aware, you get to choose again.
(12:41):
Awareness restores choice, andchoice restores power.
Gratitude doesn't erase what'shard, it actually expands your
perception so that you could seethe whole truth of your life and
not just the part that hurts.
And when you return to thebeacode to being bold and
dependent, tenacious, confident, and honest, you come home.
(13:06):
Actually, you come back home toyourself.
This isn't about doing it once.
This is about consistency.
Because consistency is whatcreates transformation.
We all know that.
Not perfection or pretending, just choosing again and again
and again.
We're gonna make mistakes.
(13:26):
So I want to leave you with thisone affirmation.
And if it feels right, reallylet it land.
I choose consciousness overcomplaint.
I reclaim my power in everymoment.
I honor what is hard withoutliving there.
(13:47):
I focus on what is good, what isgrowing, and what is possible.
I live the beacode boldly, independently, tenaciously,
confidently, and honestly.
And that is how we stopcomplaining as our default and
start living as a woman wholeads herself with intention.
(14:10):
And that is the beacon.
Thank you.
And I want you to know thatyou're not broken, you don't
need fixie.
What you need is remembering.
Remembering how to tap into yourworth, your voice, your power.
And that's what we're going todo here together, here on this
(14:32):
podcast.
Because you are the heroine ofyour own story.
I'm just here to remind you.
So I hope you tune in and joinme every other week to get your
dose of truth, empowerment, andperhaps a gentle nudge to become
the woman you were always meantto be.
