We have our listeners are awesome. When we talk with
a listener, they share part of their life. Whoa And

from the weekend, like a philosophical difference between you and
you're soon to be ex wife, Jeff Finsley will be

get your question to us. You can email it show
at kmod dot com. You can text it BMMS and
whatever that question is to eight two, nine four or five.
(03:58):
You can do those two things anytime you or you
can do it at nine when he's in or you
can call when he's in the studio at nine eight
four six zho KMOD friendly family law question that could
come up over the weekend. Is announced that George Foreman
died boxing legend easily one of the top ten boxers,
(04:21):
top five heavyweight boxers of all time, that's fair to say,
Rumbule in the Jungle right amongst some other notable boxing matches.
And it kind of set me down a rabbit hole
with him because I remembered something that was done. The
story was that Haul Cogan was offered the George Foreman
grill and he said no, right, and George Foreman got
(04:45):
it and it got him like five hundred million dollars
over time, right, And so I was like, what did
Hault get instead? That's what I was curious about. Yeah,
so I go down the rabbit hole of that. And
then I come to find out Hawk Cogan's a giant
liar and none of that ever happened.
Speaker 7 (05:08):
What do you mean he wasn't offered the ground.
Speaker 6 (05:10):
No, he's a liar. According to what I found. He
is a giant liar and lies a lot. He said
that he was offered at some point in time in
his life. Correct, he said that, correct, and we all
just bought it for what it was. Okay, correct, because
why would he lie? But apparently he lies a lot,
(05:32):
and I got receipts nice to share of all the
things he's lied about. You can make your own determination.
These may not be true, but all this came to
fruition for me because of George Foreman dying and wanting
to investigate that whole thing. So he claims Hogan that
(05:54):
Darren Arnofsky, who's a famous director has made some really
great movies, has offered him the lead role three times,
and all Cogan has claims he turned it down because
he didn't deserve it. Where the director has said that's
never happened, or has he even considered Hogan for a
movie role?
Speaker 1 (06:13):
Okay, Like I don't that's okay?
Speaker 8 (06:16):
The fun thing about this is like either one of
them could be lying true and we don't know true.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
I agree, you see what I'm saying.
Speaker 8 (06:24):
Yeah, the other guy's like, oh, maybe he's got a
beef with the Hulks or something like that.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
He's like, I'd never say that. Okay. Well, here's another one.
Speaker 6 (06:33):
He says he was an All state pitcher in high
school and he was scouted by both the Yankees and
the Cincinnati Reds, but the injury prevented him from signing
with either team.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
There's no evidence of anything. Okay, here's another one.
Speaker 6 (06:44):
He claims to be the first one who noticed Kevin
Owens' potential quote. Well, I hate to brag about it,
but I'm the first one to point the finger at
Kevin Owens. Kevin Owens was in doing solid work in
the indies for over a decade before he made it,
So there's no fruition there. You could blur the line. Yeah,
you can blur the line for sure on that one.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
Right.
Speaker 6 (07:06):
Hogan started Mister Nanny and Santa with Muscles. Those are movies,
let lindsay see. Hogan claims he wrote both scripts entirely,
only to have his writing credits stolen from him by
the dastardly Writers Guild.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
What was that name of that nanny movie, Mister Nanny.
Speaker 6 (07:26):
I'm thinking these are two separate movies, Mister Nanny and
then Santa with Muscles.
Speaker 8 (07:30):
Okay, yeah, I mean yeah, Holk is in it, but
he's saying that he wrote a script for it.
Speaker 6 (07:35):
He wrote both of the scripts, yeah, yeah, yeah, and
then got no writing credits. He claims he was one
of the Pride fighters in the seventies. The problem with
that statement is Pride fighting didn't start until nineteen ninety seven.
Speaker 7 (07:47):
Hmmm.
Speaker 6 (07:49):
So though I agree with you, Gimpi that either one
of these people could be lying, there is a pattern
showing up.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
Yeah yeah, yeah, It's not looking good for the whole
I'm not done. Oh no, he claimed to be.
Speaker 6 (08:01):
He was the first to slam Andre As in Andrea
the Giant, and Andre weighed six hundred pounds when Hogan
body slammed him, and the lie that Andre died a
few days after the slam. Hogan was also claimed that
he tore eighteen muscles back in his back and they
died like it was like five years after he slammed him.
Is when Andrea the Giant died. John Belushi died in
(08:25):
eighty two, but apparently, according to the Hulkster, he parted
with him at WrestleMania two, which was in eighty six.
Speaker 1 (08:32):
Okay, well maybe you know, because you know, people misremember time,
you know.
Speaker 9 (08:37):
Or people maybe he partied with his brother Jim and
got the too confused.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
Why yeah, no, you can't get those two confused.
Speaker 7 (08:43):
Well, yeah, it's true.
Speaker 6 (08:46):
The key factor is there was no WrestleMania before Belushi died, right,
that is true. So Hulk Rules an album released by
Hulk Cogan and the Wrestling boot Band. One of the
most famous tracks from the album is the tribute song
(09:07):
Hulkster in Heaven.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
Like He Did. I don't know if that album really exists.
I mean the internet has it here. Hulk Rules, well
zam cover Yeah, well, I mean you want to listen
to it?
Speaker 8 (09:21):
No, okay, carry on, Oh, let's get past the studid.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
I'm sure it's I'm sure it's riveting. Okay, it was
(09:52):
the eighties. It was he listen.
Speaker 6 (09:55):
The Bears doing the Super Bowl Shuffle, which that sounds
very close to was different.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
Right.
Speaker 6 (10:03):
According to Hogan, he met a very ill make a
wish kid in England, and got him tickets to SummerSlam
at Wembley Stadium to watch him wrestle in the main event. Okay,
problem was Hogan wasn't at SummerSlam. He wasn't even in
the UK at the time.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
Oh well it was a different event. Sorry, I got
my lions cross.
Speaker 6 (10:23):
You get your lines crossed a lot, well, you get
if you've been smacked around as much.
Speaker 1 (10:28):
Not an excuse, then shut your mouth.
Speaker 6 (10:31):
Hogan claimed he was asked to join a startup company
known as UFC. While UFC wasn't nearly as popular as
it is today. Hogan said he wouldn't have joined because
guys get beat up when the fight should be stopped.
Speaker 1 (10:46):
No evidence of being that.
Speaker 6 (10:47):
While he was in WCW, Hogan said that a pay
per view bout between himself and Mike Tyson was supposed
to commence, and Hogan's excuse as to why it didn't
happen Tyson was too scared, right George Foreman Gril. Hogan
claimed an episode on Hogan Knows Best that the reason
he didn't get the offer was because he was picking
(11:08):
up his kids from school.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
Why you know, priorities ma.
Speaker 6 (11:13):
Hogan claimed back in his day, he wrestled four hundred
days and one year.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
Any problem with that, lindsay.
Speaker 9 (11:19):
Yeah, there's no four hundred days in one year exactly.
Speaker 6 (11:22):
He claimed that since he traveled so frequently between the
United States and Japan, that the time difference made the
four hundred days a possibility.
Speaker 1 (11:29):
Oh my good that if Superman can fly around the
earth Backers and turn back time, I'm sure you know
this could have happened, so can a real person.
Speaker 7 (11:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:37):
Right.
Speaker 6 (11:40):
In Hogan's autobiography, he made the claim that Elvis was
a huge Hogan fan before Hogan joined the WWF, He
did work in Memphis in nineteen seventy seven.
Speaker 1 (11:50):
However, Elvis died in seventy seven.
Speaker 7 (11:54):
Seventy seven.
Speaker 6 (11:57):
Hogan claimed that both Metallica and the Rolling Stones him
as their bass player, but Metallica's member Lars Ulrich came
to Hogan himself to ask him to play with the group.
Speaker 9 (12:10):
So he is just a pathological liar, insanely yeah yeah,
if all these are true.
Speaker 7 (12:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (12:17):
Hogan claimed that he had been offered and turned down
so called Legends match at WrestleMania twenty two. The alleged
match was Hulk Hogan versus Greg Valentine. Okay, Greg Valentine.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
Hogan, yes, right, legend Greg Valentine not a legend? Uh.
Speaker 6 (12:37):
When he ran for president, Linno asked Hogan about the
platform flat tax. Brother Jay asked him to explain it
for folks at home. Hogan stammered before coming up with
sixteen percent. Jay asked how he came up with that number.
He mumbled something about sixteen being higher than fifteen.
Speaker 1 (12:54):
I mean he's not wrong, all right.
Speaker 6 (12:58):
Hogan claimed he was blackballed from Hall Would because he
turned down a gay producer's advances in the eighties.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
WoT what happened man? What happened to thunder Bay? Right? Well,
I turned down a gay man's advances and then they
said you're out of here.
Speaker 6 (13:15):
He claimed he came up the idea for nWo, but
he wanted it to be him Booty Man and the
Nasty Boys.
Speaker 7 (13:23):
And he turned down a gay man's advances and came up.
Speaker 6 (13:26):
With He claimed he was the first wrestler responsible for
the WWF first selling merchandise he had talked to vinced
into it, which there's many that easily could be split
one hundred different ways. He claimed he was banned from
Letterman because he stopped Letterman from hitting on Linda Hogan.
Hogan has appeared on Letterman many, many times. Again, there's
(13:50):
more I could.
Speaker 1 (13:51):
He said.
Speaker 6 (13:52):
He used to be six', nine but now after his
back in knee, surgery he's six y.
Speaker 8 (13:55):
Four, well, yeah that stuff shrinks you, down, man don't
you Get don't you shrink after you get when you get?
Speaker 1 (14:02):
Older? Anyway, yeah, YEAH i know that's a. Lie that's a. Lie.
Speaker 3 (14:08):
Yo.
Speaker 6 (14:10):
Uh he was going to commit, suicide literally had the
gun in his, hand pointed at his, head and he
got a call From Leila ali that he took it as.
Speaker 1 (14:17):
A sign he should keep trying to. Live.
Speaker 6 (14:20):
Oh he said he wanted to drop the title To
piper in eighty, five but he didn't Think piper would
be willing to lose it back to. Him he claimed
he wanted to turn heel On warrior At, WrestleMania But
vince wouldn't go for. It he claimed That tatsumi For
jinami tried to shoot him In japan and steal THE wwf,
(14:42):
title but he beat. Him, dude this is endless the
number of things he said that weren't.
Speaker 1 (14:51):
Accurate, yeah And i'm.
Speaker 6 (14:53):
With, you like some of these are hearsay one person's
opinion on. Another The foreman, thing there's no way to
know if he got a, call.
Speaker 9 (15:03):
RIGHT i Watched Hogan Knows best when it was ON,
tv AND i remember a whole entire episode that they
did on the Whole George foreman, thing and it WAS i,
mean they went back and they, said do you want the?
Grill and he was like, no and they were, like
they're gonna give it To George foreman and they were, like,
Man he's LIKE i should have never passed on that
(15:24):
because they gave him the. Opportunity he wanted to do
like a blender, Instead hogan thought a blender would be
so much better and then that was a complete flop
and it was this whole like, yeah and LIKE i
think there was that, episode Like George foreman was on it,
too and they like were kidding back and forth like
(15:45):
aren't you aren't you sad that you didn't choose the.
Speaker 6 (15:49):
Grill foreman's gone on the record saying that it isn't
true and that he just goes with it because it's
a funny. Story, yeah, Right and when it comes to
like REALITY tv or anything like, THAT i can't believe
any of it, anyway because that's.
Speaker 1 (16:01):
All for ends at that. Point, yeah you, know it's all,
scripted that's, it or reshot exactly, right you, know maybe
not scripted in the traditional sense where there's a piece
of paper with stuff written on, it, right but they
will go back and reshoot something to Make, hey can
you act a little more? Surprise right, right right, Right
we're gonna do this whole thing on this this whole grille,
whatever you. KNOW i don't buy. It but what? Else
(16:22):
did you? Know there were three thunder And. Paradises it
wasn't called Thunder.
Speaker 8 (16:26):
Bay huh huh, Kay, yeah thunder And paradise and The
thunder And paradise two and then three and ninety.

okay there. WAS i feel like there was a television
show and that it was kind Of Baywash baywatch, esque
and but he had this big yellow boat that he
would run around the bay.
Speaker 8 (16:51):
In, yeah Thunder bay doesn't pop up as any kind
OF tv show or movie or anything like, that and
it probably Is The thunder And paradise that you're thinking
of with the yellow.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
Boat, yes well there's there's a. Boat it's a black,
boat was? It maybe it? WAS i don't.
Speaker 8 (17:10):

cat had Been And i'm, like oh, wow.
Speaker 6 (17:15):
Hey listen. Rightfully so The manned was a massive. Star,
Yeah so to, me it makes complete sense for him
to have A cd, like, yes every drop of juice
you can get out of.
Speaker 1 (17:30):
It didn't he have like a spaghetti restaurant or something like, That,
YES i think.
Speaker 6 (17:35):
So, Okay So thunder And paradise was A tv show
and it was a. Movie, Ah so that's What i'm
getting confused. By he was In Spy, Hard The Secret, Agent,
Club santa With, Muscles Suburban.
Speaker 1 (17:53):

those that's just, like he didn't star in those. Movies
he just had a little, cameo a little lact you,

it at, all, whatsoever BUT i remember them hyping the
hell out of it On wrestland when it was.
Speaker 7 (18:54):
On did he have a cameo and over the top as?
Well With Sylvester, stallone.
Speaker 6 (18:58):
You're confusing Your syvesters movies where he was in a
rocky yeah oh, okay yeah, yeah which was the start
of his movie, Careers, Thunderlips, Yeah Suburban commando was all,
Him Mister nanny was all. Him yeah yeah, Yeah Secret Agent.
Speaker 1 (19:18):
Club i've never heard of this. Movie, yeah he's the
star of that, Too, okay, yeah sure. Enough and he you,
know he's not a good looking. Dude, no he's a
big ogre. Dude. YEAH i look at him and, like
you look like somebody's creepy uncle hopped up on.
Speaker 6 (19:34):
Steroids people that are that, large like as a human
as the stack of carbons, go usually aren't very. Attractive.
True the fact that he's seventy one's wild. Man, yeah
what he's been? Through, yeah and he looks great for
being seventy. One, yeah still trying to rip his shirt. Off, yeah,
(19:57):
dude he's been he's been married a.
Speaker 1 (19:59):
Lot. Huh how many times have been? MARRIED i want
to say he's been married five?
Speaker 9 (20:05):
Times, OKAY i would say.
Speaker 1 (20:09):
Three three is what he's been.
Speaker 6 (20:11):
Married he was married To linda, McMahon, Sorry Linda, hogan
and then he married some girl for eleven years after
they got. Divorced and then he's married this girl.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
That looks just like his, daughter.
Speaker 6 (20:28):
Which is wild because he's seventy one AND i don't
know how old this broad is Sky.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
Daily oh my, goodness she's forty. Five, Okay, WELL i mean,
good good for, HIM i, guess, YEAH.
Speaker 6 (20:48):
I guess that'd be like your age marrying somebody who's seventy.
Speaker 1 (20:51):
One. Gimpie, YEAH i, know, scary isn't.
Speaker 10 (20:54):
It?
Speaker 1 (20:55):
Yeah but, hey if she What's hogan's net? Worth? Oh,
good guess that's. Fine what do you, think?
Speaker 7 (21:03):
Lindsay probably round seventy five.
Speaker 1 (21:08):
Million, Okay i'm gonna go three hundred.
Speaker 8 (21:14):
Million, okay it says here it's twenty twenty five.
Speaker 1 (21:19):
Million he won a massive. Lawsuit.
Speaker 8 (21:22):
Yeah, uh let's get into. That, yeah because that lawsuit garnered.
Him let's. See net worth estimates includes his A gacker
Dot com, settlement which initially one hundred and forty million
dollars but was ultimately reduced to thirty one million before.
Taxes that number also takes into acount the tens of
millions Whul kovid lost as part of his divorce From.
(21:44):
Linda ah there it, is so, yeah two thousand and
seven thirty million. Dollars hulk was ultimately forced to fork
over seventy percent of their liquid, assets three million dollars
in cash to cover property, settlements and forty percent ownership
state of his various business.
Speaker 1 (22:02):
Entities how much do you Now comparatively The rock who
way more. Successful.
Speaker 6 (22:08):
Yeah, now you can make an argument, though that the
savviness of the bit of how to merge those wrestlers
into movie stars and things like that has advanced, dramatically
Where hogan they.
Speaker 1 (22:18):
Were just kind of dabbling in, it you, know it
was more of like a.
Speaker 6 (22:21):
Cameo look ha ha right and now and then they
tried to make it work With, Hulk but now they've
got like a system in place to blend wrestlers in.
Speaker 1 (22:29):
Oh, yeah right on, End, yeah doing movies and al.
Speaker 6 (22:31):
Tea, like there's some guys that are so like their.
Money at least it does not look like what he used.
To but, dude that's how crazy rabbit hole to go
down to on why he changed his. Life M, okay,
yeah it's so fascinating that he, was, LIKE i just
decided none of that was for me, anymore and he
just cold turkeyed.
Speaker 8 (22:49):
Everything, wow stop the roids and stopped the working, out
started wearing weird pearl.
Speaker 6 (22:53):

on that BECAUSE i do not believe.
Speaker 1 (23:13):
You that's, fine that's. Fine. LISTEN i don't do.
Speaker 6 (23:16):
This for people to believe me a Right, listen but
they what do you think The rock's networth?
Speaker 7 (23:21):
Is The rock's gotta be at least four hundred?
Speaker 8 (23:25):
Milk Oh, No he's been in every. Thing that man markets.
Everything i'm gonna say he's close to seven if.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
Not higher or a. Billion.
Speaker 6 (23:33):
Yeah everything he touches is. Blockbuster very few things are
flops with. Him eight hundred million. Dollars, yeah Even San,

Whatever if half of them are, fact, YEAH i still make.
Speaker 1 (24:07):
It if a quarter of them are, fact you're still,
like damn.
Speaker 9 (24:11):

Coogan that's that's essentially Why Linda hogan left.
Speaker 6 (24:19):

Speaker 6 (24:35):
Yeah he also slept with his friends, twice, yes which is.
Wild forget the cameras and the bait and switch and
all that other stuff that happened with.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
It he clearly had. It if he has a different
mentality on, life, yeah it's all. Extreme he could do
whatever he.
Speaker 6 (24:48):

Speaker 1 (24:53):
You're An american. ICON i may.
Speaker 6 (24:55):
Say something that are at BECAUSE i just don't care
twenty five million that. Is BUT i guess there was
all this ideology of his character which is on me

to pay each other to, do that let them do
it exactly theirs as long as it doesn't, You know
i'd rather than check to make sure there's no trafficking
involved and no. Children Involved that i'd rather be a licensed,
you know governed group at least to control that part
of it than to just ignore that it's. Not, happening
(33:33):
yeah because trafficking is where child trafficking and human trafficking
is exists in.

Your weekend the best was probably being able to enjoy the,
nice weather did some, yard work Went To, On saturday
MARCUS and i went. To crunch jim worked out did
some abs and, arm exercises then decided to go a
(39:55):
step further and we played some Pickaball, on saturday which.
Was awesome we found some free courts close to our
home and it wasn't. Too busy there was three courts
and one of them was, still open so we played
for about an hour and a half or so and
until we were just dying of thirst and decided to.
(40:19):
Go home then we all did some more yard work
and just completely just.
Speaker 7 (40:28):
Got exhausted eating outside.
Speaker 1 (40:30):
All day you own pickle, Ball, equipment yeah just a.
Speaker 7 (40:33):
Couple of paddles and balls is all. You need the
balls that we, picked, up though.
Speaker 9 (40:40):
Aren't great because it did get a little bit windy
and so they were they weren't.
Speaker 7 (40:45):
HEAVY enough i guess maybe.
Speaker 1 (40:48):
Was there different weights. OF pickleballs I don't i'm.
Speaker 9 (40:51):
Not sure maybe, There is but the ones that, we
got we, decided, like yeah and now we know why
these were on nine ninety nine for four of them
and not, you know like there were some that you
could buy a three pack for like sixteen.
Speaker 7 (41:08):
NINETY nine i, was like wait, a minute for, ten
bucks we can get one.
Speaker 9 (41:10):
More ball let's. Do that, but yeah but that. Was
fun we had a, great time and we taught the
twins doing yard work, this weekend so now they're they
have yard.
Speaker 1 (41:23):
WORK duty i have. More. EMPLOYEES absolutely.
Speaker 9 (41:27):
I would say the worst part of the weekend was
feels really good to get your tax check in, the
mail federal income.
Speaker 7 (41:37):
Tax.
Speaker 9 (41:37):
Check oh the worst, part though is sending it right
off because we owed the. State money so it's there
for a minute in your bank account and then it's
gone twenty four. Hours later so that. Part sucked that
and pain bills.
Speaker 7 (41:53):
With it so.
Speaker 1 (41:54):
Best and worst of.
Speaker 6 (41:55):
The weekend what's the best thing that happened this weekend
and the worst thing that happened?
Speaker 1 (41:58):
This weekend you.
Speaker 6 (41:59):
Have a mass in whatever that it is to, eight,
two nine. Four five give me what's the best and what's?
Speaker 8 (42:03):
The, WORST oh i guess the best part of the
weekend would have Been. UH friday i mean a bunch
of friends, got together went Over To old Dave and
busters and. Hung out they ate, some food the kids played.
Speaker 1 (42:15):
Some games it was a. GOOD time i drink. My
dinner i'm all right.
Speaker 11 (42:18):
With.
Speaker 8 (42:18):
That UH and i guess the worst part of The
weekend i'm still, dealing with like this whole chest cold
thing put me down. Last week so there's like a
lot of congestion and a lot of coughing, and Hacking
and i'll Woke up saturday MORNING and i could barely,
DAMN breathe i tell. You what but, you know after
a good couple of hours of coughing and hacking and
spitting and coughing and hacking, AND spitting i finally got
(42:40):
TO where, i could, you know.
Speaker 1 (42:41):
Breathe again for the, Most part you're not the only
one that has that lingering like. Cough thing yeah, it sucks,
it sucks but, you know it is what. It is
the allergies could be a number, of things But eventually
i'll hack it, all up go for. A run that
always like do something like cardio loosens. It up i'd
(43:06):
just rather take big bong aits and loosen.
Speaker 6 (43:08):
It up best and worst? The weekend what's the best
thing that happened? This weekend and the worst thing that happened?
This weekend bmms and whatever that is to, eight, two nine.
Four five best of the weekend WOULD be, i mean
we got to grill, out twice. Pretty awesome made some
two different types Of roasted, brussels. Sprouts awesome made one
(43:30):
with crunchy chili oil and another one with maple syrup. And,
bacon okay, and yeah which one. Was better i'm more
partial to the maple syrup and, bacon one.
Speaker 8 (43:43):
Just because of the bacon and. The, sweetness, yeah, OKAY
yeah i like the chili. Crunch one it's, it's GOOD
but i, DON'T know i just. The sweetness that was good.
Work together.
Speaker 12 (43:54):
So that was.
Speaker 6 (43:54):
Pretty awesome, you know grilling and patio and cake and
all those things happening.
Speaker 1 (43:58):
At once it's. Pretty.
Speaker 6 (44:00):
Awesome uh worst part of the weekend would have TO
be i have this screen that can go down to block,
the sun and during, the wind it knocked the cover
OFF and i can't get it back. UP there i
can't get.
Speaker 1 (44:15):
IT up.
Speaker 6 (44:18):
I tried a couple, of Times so i've got to
have the guy come out and do it and probably
need some special tool and wiggity wig and it's. A,
Thing man you own. Nice things they have to be taken.
Care of and not excited, about that but that might
be the worst part of. The weekend what about, you
guys bmms and whatever that is to eight two nine,
four five what's the best and what's, the worst. This
(44:39):
says best part of the weekend was stepping into church
for the first time in almost. Ten years worst would
be the big argument me and my fiance had that
Lasted from Friday to.
Speaker 1 (44:48):
Saturday night no wonder you went to church.
Speaker 6 (44:53):
To repent what we're you? Arguing about it had to
have been we never go to Church any surely that
long of an. Argument's. Wild best my GIRLFRIEND and i
got a new puppy and. She's, perfect worst back to

Speaker 6 (45:16):
My kids want, a Dog and, i'm like when you
can pick up poop in, the yard we'll talk.
Speaker 1 (45:22):
About it that's why you get a.
Speaker 8 (45:23):
Small dog, STILL poops, i know but small poops nonetheless
easier for them to. Pick up, you know they don't
got to go out there with their play school shovel
and you know pick it up. A, HALFWAY yeah.
Speaker 6 (45:36):
I don't care how big the turn is. GONNA be
i ain't picking it. Up right and the other part
of this is the dog will outlive them being.
Speaker 1 (45:43):
At home. So, true yeah hard.
Speaker 6 (45:45):
PASS man i don't want in ten Years when i'm
SIXTY picking i just best part of, the weekend my
GIRLFRIEND and owi. Did, that worst we think someone stole
my Son's autographs scream painting at comic con and it.
Crushed HIM best i placed It with Matt and Skeet
(46:08):

in the and that are in. The, movie yeah whoever's
there at the, comic con, you know Representing the, scream
franchise because, you Know Like courtney cox ain't gonna, be There.
Speaker 7 (46:36):
But Skee So skei ulrich was there and he was

Speaker 6 (46:54):
Pretty awesome worst is my yard guy told me he
wasn't working anymore and doing yards and my yard looks. Like,
summer man this is the yard guys are a dime,
a dozen.
Speaker 1 (47:06):
All right they have a ton of people that. Mow
yards i'm sure there's a teenager in the neighborhood somewhere
that'd be willing to do it for ten bucks. Or
anybody there's so many people that.
Speaker 9 (47:16):
MOW yards i get a flyer in my mailbox like
three days a week, for, lunch yes.
Speaker 1 (47:23):
Or a business card. Or something, you're.
Speaker 6 (47:25):

Speaker 8 (47:54):
Help me i'm not gonna lie there for a little bit.
OF thought, o measles because you know the outbreaks. COMING
around i keeping an eye out for, some SYMPTOMS and
i would have already shown the major rash by this point.
Speaker 1 (48:06):
In time so measles off.
Speaker 7 (48:08):
The board so what made you think you had.
Speaker 8 (48:10):
The measles just because the symptoms that start off. With
it there's a, slight fever, there's coughing, you, know congestion.
You know and then after that's so basic, you know
cold flu, like symptoms just like. Everything, starts yeah and
then from there you're looking for white pustules inside, your
mouth white.
Speaker 1 (48:29):
Bluish PUSTULES and i, was, LIKE okay i don't have any.
Speaker 6 (48:31):
Of those you get pustules in your mouth when you have.
Speaker 1 (48:35):
The measles that's what.
Speaker 8 (48:36):
It says that's what it SAID when i go to,
measles symptoms because, you know there's an outbreak going on,
right now. And uh and then, after that that's when
it starts, the rash the from from head and then
just works its way down and out.
Speaker 1 (48:50):
Your body so do you are you an, ear forehead
tongue or a noose? Temperature? Guy oh.
Speaker 8 (48:57):
Like ear i've got. The gun, The, gun yeah makes
things a. Lot easier for a, LONG time i didn't.
HAVE one i had one and the battery, was DEAD
so i was just like whatever. It was it was it,
last year year, BEFORE last i, was like, All right
i'm just gonna go ahead and buy the bullet and
go buy a thermometer, because goddamn you're gonna. Need it
AND so i found the one with the gun and
(49:18):
you know it takes just. A, second yeah. Fairly accurate
hene even has color, coding green, you're, good yellow, slight,
fever red.
Speaker 6 (49:26):
Definitely, fever yeah you're aft there when they'reing THE whole.
Covid thing my WIFE and i almost bought this thermometer
that keeps track like it sinks to an, app okay
and so you can always go back, and, go oh
they've had this has been? Their temperature oh are?
Speaker 1 (49:42):
This is you KNOW what? I mean because, usually, like
ah what?
Speaker 6 (49:44):
Was it if you're not writing it down, Or anything
and the it occurred to me because we have the,
ear one we have an, infrared one we have the
one you drag across, your, FOREHEAD.
Speaker 1 (49:55):
Right i feel like they all give a. Different temperature.
Speaker 8 (49:59):
They do they probably do the only one that's. Guaranteed rectal?
Speaker 7 (50:04):

Speaker 14 (01:13:30):

Speaker 6 (01:13:33):
Great man, chris says you've been married. One year congratulations
you got married a.
Speaker 5 (01:13:38):
Little.
Speaker 14 (01:13:39):
Late huh second time is always.
Speaker 1 (01:13:42):
The, charm okay how did you meet your? Current wife.
Speaker 14 (01:13:48):
We've frequented a lot of the same places all, the
time but never. Cross PATHS but i believe it was a.
Poker run we finally met on about two and a half,
years ago three.
Speaker 6 (01:14:01):
Years ago and what was your line to her that got?
HER attention I wish i could.
Speaker 14 (01:14:07):
Tell you it was, something special but it was not
just some casual sit. Down, conversation okay you just wore.
Speaker 1 (01:14:15):
IT down i. Get it THAT'S what. I did and
you are An air. Force vent how long were you
In The?
Speaker 14 (01:14:24):
AIR force i did about thirteen?
Speaker 1 (01:14:27):
Years okay and what'd? You do.
Speaker 14 (01:14:30):
Started out in security forces and enjoyed it for a?
Little bit is that?
Speaker 1 (01:14:36):
Like police Like The air? Force police, it is.
Speaker 14 (01:14:39):
But it kind of for The. Air force it breaks
it down into a few. Different criteria there's like, your
MPs but then you have your your security long and,
security short which are two. Different sections and so take
an air based ground defense side as well as LIKE
the mp side of.
Speaker 6 (01:14:56):
The, house okay because people make a. Common mistake they
Hear air force and they think. Everybody's flying but there
is a lot of takes to Make The air force what.
Speaker 1 (01:15:03):
It is.
Speaker 14 (01:15:05):
It would be the equivalent, of, grunts.
Speaker 6 (01:15:08):
Okay right because there are people don't. Realize this there's
a there's a.
Speaker 1 (01:15:12):
Group of of of.
Speaker 6 (01:15:14):
Airmen that, are soldiers. I e boots on the ground
and go and. Kick Ass.
Speaker 1 (01:15:22):
Correct and is that what you? Can get is that what? You?
Speaker 14 (01:15:24):
Did ah yes?
Speaker 1 (01:15:27):
It Is and and what was your why do you
want to Join The. Air force well in the.
Speaker 14 (01:15:34):
Military group, YOU know i scored high enough ON my
asvab and my my father Was A vietnam vat guy
who was In, the army and he said the whole
time that they lived in The Mother air force guys
that air. Conditioned tense, he pushed he pushed me down
a little. Better, route?
Speaker 6 (01:15:51):
Okay uh and did you want to do security forces
or did your recruiter lie?
Speaker 14 (01:15:56):
To you it seemed like a good IDEA that i,
you know college was a big DEAL and i couldn't,
afford it and it seemed like a. Valid ROUTE so
i ended up just PICKING what i could get into
and got me out of the house and moving at,
you know eighteen.
Speaker 1 (01:16:12):
Years old how long from boot camp to you were?
In theater.
Speaker 14 (01:16:19):
So my first deployment took from basic training to theater
was about eighteen. Months. Probably.
Speaker 1 (01:16:26):
Wow wow do you remember getting? YOUR assignment.
Speaker 14 (01:16:32):
I DO and i was so broken hearted when my
first assignment was Out. To oklahoma what were you hoping
it would be anywhere Other? THAN stateside I guess i
imagine at. The TIME am i.
Speaker 6 (01:16:46):
Fair to say that you were eager to get out
there and get to, work.
Speaker 14 (01:16:51):
Oh absolutely, you know you picture yourself and there's, this
big glorious picture you get when you join, the military,
you know going out and doing things and, Cool stuff
and GOING, To altus oklahoma was the polar opposite of.
Speaker 1 (01:17:05):
That version what did you do in altis for? THAT deployment.
Speaker 14 (01:17:11):
I joined a forty four man team for air Base
ground defense and trained for deployment.
Speaker 6 (01:17:18):
Year, round okay so is it more in? Depth training
it's just more in. Depth training so you get the
call that, you're like, all right we're. Going over what
was that?
Speaker 1 (01:17:29):
Flight? Over like.
Speaker 14 (01:17:32):
Seemed like it, Took FOREVER but i got to see
the sun come, up twice so that.
Speaker 1 (01:17:36):
Was interesting explain that for people that, Don't, understand like as.
Speaker 14 (01:17:40):
You fly one way of the other directions across, the globe,
you know and you go through time zones and international,
date lines it's weird. Going backwards, you know you might
land the day before you took off or so as you,
fly backwards, you know we got to see the sun
come up once and then it got, dark again the sun.
Speaker 6 (01:17:59):
Came, up again and as, your land where did? You
land where was your first stop?
Speaker 14 (01:18:04):
Over THERE so i think our first stop on. That
deployment we Stopped in hickam for some refueling and That's,
in hawaii and then Over to korea and then further
Into The. Middle east and when.
Speaker 6 (01:18:17):
You landed In The, middle east what was? That like was,
there nervousness excitement or did you did you expect to
get off the plane and, you know be chaos or
what was that like?
Speaker 14 (01:18:26):
FOR you i think everyone has a certain vision in,
their head, you know when you're going into something. Like
that but it wasn't as bad or as GOOD as
i thought it. Would be it, was interesting, you know
it's culture shocks and customs issues AND things i had
never seen before in, my life so it. WAS interesting
(01:18:47):
i enjoyed it for the. Most PART so i don't.
Speaker 6 (01:18:51):
Know, about you BUT when i, travel ANYWHERE when, I
land i want to get. TO it i don't want to,
you know mess, you know, see this see that. Take
time was there an expectation that you were going to
land and immediately go out on a on a route,
or anything or how much time was there between landing and,
you know going.
Speaker 14 (01:19:09):
On, patrol well most, government operations, you know are a
hurry up. And waits they training. For that so when.
You land usually there's a little bit of downtime while
things are being sorted out and you're being pushed. Into
theater maybe a couple, of, days.
Speaker 6 (01:19:27):
Okay you get accustomed to your where, you're sleeping were
messes all that?
Speaker 14 (01:19:33):
Other?
Speaker 1 (01:19:34):
Stuff absolutely and how many tours did? You do.
Speaker 14 (01:19:41):
I've done ONE, In oef i've done One. IN afghanistan
i think Ones Like, Northern Watch. Southern watch i've been
To the bulkans a, few times which one see a
Few different.
Speaker 6 (01:19:56):
Is there one That stands is there one that stands
out to YOU as i don't want to say memorable
BECAUSE that i don't want to undermine one over, The
other but is there one that sticks out to you
that immediately pops in?
Speaker 1 (01:20:08):
Your? Head First.
Speaker 14 (01:20:11):
Probably IRAQ when i got we Got to jordan shortly before,
the INVASION and i think we got there and like End,
of november Beginning, of december and we Landed In, king
kassal which Is. In jordan but that would be, the
one because that's THE one i got my bell wrong
on and that was like a moment of clarity when
(01:20:33):
you realize it's not all fun. And games, you know
a little bit of an.
Speaker 6 (01:20:37):
Eye opener so bell wrung an, explosion RIGHT an? Id
CORRECT and i would imagine you're aware that there are
people shooting, at you trying to, kill you but it
just doesn't resonate until.
Speaker 1 (01:20:51):
That moment maybe well you kind.
Speaker 14 (01:20:53):
Of have this impression in, your mind, you know being
shot at everything you drained for. And everything and then
you get in there and yeah you're being, shot at
but not everything is close enough to. Really register and
it's sometimes you even become accustomed to being. Shot at
but then when it's like it comes around real quick
(01:21:14):
when you get your bell rung and stuff explodes and
you're lost and confused and bleeding from your ears and.
Your nose and can.
Speaker 1 (01:21:22):
You take us back? To that do you want to talk?
ABOUT that. I.
Speaker 14 (01:21:28):
Can uh it was just like, a morning just like.
Every other, you know you go out on you do,
your patrol you, pick it you get, your side, your
route you.
Speaker 1 (01:21:36):
Clear.
Speaker 14 (01:21:36):
It uh we assumed we have been doing our job
good enough, so far and it WAS an rpg to
hit something and then which explosion? DID it i, don't
KNOW but I know i was knocked out for a
few minutes AND then i came to somebody had drugged
(01:21:57):
me behind one of the humbies in the in, the
line and then it's just, you know when you when
you get enough gathered back up and you come to,
you know you get back in. A fight he doesn't
really register what happens until after.
Speaker 6 (01:22:13):
The, Fact yeah and can you go? There immediately like
can you visually go? Back there like do you?
Speaker 1 (01:22:22):
Smell it? And everything it.
Speaker 14 (01:22:24):
Is weird, like that, you know you can pick up
on some of, the smells and you can pick up
on even certain sounds you hear throughout, the day whether
sometimes it might be a backfire or car, door slamming
or there are CERTAIN that i guess they're, called triggers,
you know that can put you back in a weird
fight or. Flight place but.
Speaker 1 (01:22:44):
That happened pretty early for you on your, deployment, there right.
Speaker 14 (01:22:50):
That would have been probably three or four weeks into.
That one we were just starting to do the invasion on.
That one when that when, that HAPPENED because i want
to say we invaded like just after the first of,
the year, you, know officially, you know some of the
unofficial stuff.
Speaker 6 (01:23:08):
Is different, but right and and did when did you
realize it had a ramification?
Speaker 1 (01:23:14):
On you that you weren't. Aware of.
Speaker 14 (01:23:20):
It would have been. A, while uh it's NOT like
i left country or anything because. Of it, YOU know
I think i got Checked out rope a few, days
later out of the, med bay and, you know your
corman come up and check you on, the place are,
in place and then, you know depending, on everything, situational awareness,
(01:23:41):
you know you don't always have time to decompress or,
you know sort. Things out but the long term ramifications
of that took years to. Sort, OUT yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:23:55):
I can't i can't.
Speaker 6 (01:23:55):
Even fathom and so moving on, from military unless there's
something else you want to, talk about you get back
and you realize that there are a lot of people
that need HELP, with ptsd and you start.
Speaker 14 (01:24:07):
An organization SO after i retired medically from, the military
it was, more about LIKE how i, started out it
was more about trying to find something that brought me
PEACE because i had been in and out of all
the impatient programs you know the military has when you're
on active duty and you're, getting out they used to
(01:24:29):
send you Through a warrior. Transition unit and then when
you get out and you're thrown over TO the va
side of, the house it's a Lot of they have different,
impatient programs, you know for different amounts. Of time sometimes
there are a, few weeks they could be. Three months
and it was a lot of staring at four white
walls and PILLS where i realized that that approach wasn't
(01:24:51):
going to, help ME and i saw it not help
a lot. Of people so it was trying to find
other AVENUES where i could take to get almost like
a relief for. A decompression and IT was i think
it was a three month Program, In Batavia, new york
where they took us on a field trip one Day
(01:25:13):
To attica Gun And rod club and it was just
a day of FISHING where I realized i got more
out of just being outdoors and FISHING than i ever
did inside the four white walls.
Speaker 1 (01:25:27):
With.
Speaker 6 (01:25:27):
Pills, yeah yeah there's many studies psychologically of people that
get to spend time outside and how much it helps
them compared to drugs and sit down sessions and. Anything
else so that tracks, for sure and so you go and,
experience that then, What, happens.
Speaker 14 (01:25:45):
Well then it took me down a little bit of
a different path where, you know the pills were starting
to destroy my liver. And STUFF so i had to
wean myself off, of those AND as i got, clearer minded,
YOU know i REALIZED that i had to find a
different way to deal with. These issues so then IT
(01:26:06):
was i was going to buy myself some land and,
with horses, you know because animals can, be therapeutic and,
most veterans, you know were not big on, public anyways
so we'd rather just withdraw. From that but the help
came from the. Animals themselves SO when i was going
(01:26:26):
to buy myself land and, do this people had come
to me and, they're, like well if you're going to
do this, for yourself you should do something big enough
to help other people, as well.
Speaker 6 (01:26:37):
And so tell me about how you INVITED another vet
to come out to.
Speaker 14 (01:26:42):
The ranch so we sat down one day and we
built this whole program from the. Ground up it took
it probably two years to file the paperwork with the
state And the feds and get your five oh one c,
three stuff and then we had to find somebody to.
Partner with land and horses, Isn't cheap so we partnered
(01:27:04):
With The Tulsa, boys home and they've been good to
us over the last year year and. A half setting
everything up and getting the program off the ground and.
Speaker 6 (01:27:11):
Running and talk about when guys, show up are they
a little or, girls like when they, show up are
they a? Little apprehensive and because you've got some photos
can be sent Us, your facebook and you got some
photos of guys just lighting up on these horses and
when you hear, you know grunts or whatever smiling on
(01:27:32):
a horse that doesn't. Usually track but they're awesome photos
of how happy some of these.
Speaker 14 (01:27:38):
People are and it really is a weird process because
every individual. Is different so, you know some of these
vets come out and they just want to groom the
horses or pet, the horses and other guys come out
and they want they want the. Full experience, you know
we're not building cowboys by, any means but we're focusing
really unjust that therapy the Horses, per so like when
(01:28:01):
you sit down and we do an eight week you
gallop program which is just a fancy word for equine,
assistant therapies and we, start out, you know with just
some simple time grooming and building the relationship between the
vet and, the horse and then we build off that
each week through the eight weeks up to riding and
learning just the basics and just that time spent between
(01:28:26):
the vet and the horse. Building it, every week they build,
a relationship and that's the relationship that these vets can
carry forward into their, own lives, you know whether it's rebuilding,
you know family dynamics and building relationships back with kids
and wives and. Everything else so that's the. Ultimate goal.
Speaker 6 (01:28:49):
That's interesting because it comes from, just, like hey we're,
doing this and as, things do the camaraderie happens and
other conversations pop up to kind of help navigate those.
Other things almost like the horses of the animals bring
the guard down a, Little bit.
Speaker 14 (01:29:05):
Like it does work, that way and then, it's like,
because well we're all guarded and we put up our
walls and everyone. Does it so when you start to
slowly pick away at, those walls, you know brick, by brick,
you know using horses and animals and the other camaraderie between,
the vets, you know people start to look forward coming Out,
every friday and then, you know after that there's a
(01:29:29):
little bit of normalcy that you, could say vets get
back that they're not used to having because a lot of,
you know we just will Shop at walmart at three
o'clock in, the morning because we just don't want to run.
Into people but when you can take those simple relationships
between the horse and the vet and build them into
bigger aspects and try and, build back, you know relationships
(01:29:50):
and family dynamics and everything else that go, into it
they can really carry it into a lot of other
parts of, their lives whether, it's work relationship and building,
you know stronger bonds in the family and then trying
to get the. Family involved is part of our, ultimate
goal is taking, the vet healing them and then trying
(01:30:11):
to reintegrate everything back into the family dynamics to heal
the family. As Well if.
Speaker 6 (01:30:17):
I'm a family member or a friend OF a vet
that knows, they're struggling what would be your recommendation on
how to get them pointed in the direction Of broken.
Speaker 1 (01:30:28):
Warrior RANCH.
Speaker 14 (01:30:30):
So i, would say, YOU know i will never SAY
the va, doesn't help because there are certain programs and
THINGS of thea can do that. We CAN'T but i,
would say don't put all your eggs in. One basket,
you know if you feel like the, VA's helping but
you could be in a better place that go to.
The website there's sign ups, on there there's information about
(01:30:51):
our program what, It entails so. Come out, you know
if it's not, for you that's. Fine, too well you
know we're not gonna be, everyone's cure but you can't
look at it as just, a cure, you know it's
it's the beginning of. Something better so that's how we
(01:31:12):
kind of put our, message out is that if you
can come out and spend eight weeks with a little bit,
of healing you can take that healing and continue building
it off of in other places and other aspects of.
Your life.
Speaker 6 (01:31:29):
What about THAT because i can only imagine, you know
you guys go through training and you go into these
situations where you have to be fearless and you have
to be gritty, and tough and now you have to
suddenly peel that back.
Speaker 1 (01:31:46):
And you know for not trying to but like play with.
Speaker 6 (01:31:51):
A horse like some guys are gonna hear that and, be, like,
no no what do you say to?
Speaker 1 (01:31:55):
THOSE vets.
Speaker 14 (01:31:58):
I, would say give it, a shot because it's, it's weird.
YOU know, i, mean yes they're big animals, and everything
but they're they're just like kids in the aspect of,
you know they're gonna test. Your patience they're gonna they're
gonna look at you and they're gonna SEE what ta
can get. Away with but they'll also like scare right through.
(01:32:19):
Your soul on the other hand, of it, you know
they'll they'll sit there and it's weird how certain animals
can pick up on. Broken people and, you know Hence
The Broken. WARRIOR ranch, i meant most all military people
are broken in some way or, the other but they
will look straight through your soul almost and see that
(01:32:40):
and give you just a little bit of hope and
then you take that little bit of hope and you
just continue building off of it for the eight.
Speaker 6 (01:32:47):
Week program how can someone get in touch with you
guys At The Broken.
Speaker 1 (01:32:52):
Warrior ranch you.
Speaker 14 (01:32:54):
Can reach out to, the Websites the, facebook pages there's
all links that take you To The Broken warrior ranch
website and there's sign ups on there and it's just
going in filling out the simple forms on there and
they'll get submitted. To me AND then i usually call
out once a week with the new people who are
signing up and get, them scheduled, you know whether it's
(01:33:17):
the next class or the class. After that but we're
pretty good about getting, everybody scheduled.
Speaker 6 (01:33:22):
And anything else you'd like to say to maybe vets that,
are listening OR just i want to give you a
chance to say whatever. You'd like i've learned a lot
from you, just Now and i'm impressed With The Broken.
Warrior ranch and if there's ever anything we can do,
to help please ask us to.
Speaker 1 (01:33:37):
Do so but anything else you'd like, to say.
Speaker 14 (01:33:40):
You know i'd just. Like it Thanks To Tulsa. Boys
home the next Big Event Broken warrior ranch Has is.
April nineteenth it'll Be The Preacher, memorial run which is
a poker run for motorcycles and anybody else who wants
to come out and help raise the money for a.
Speaker 6 (01:33:55):
Good, cause chris thanks for taking, the. TIME man i
enjoyed talking, with you and good luck. With everything we.
Speaker 1 (01:34:02):
Appreciate it, all, right buddy see. You Later. It's chris

Speaker 5 (01:34:07):

Speaker 13 (01:34:55):
For.
Speaker 6 (01:34:55):
THAT man i hate To, see CREST but i was
so so, Excited Too so i'm going to pivot to.
Something else and it's. Also shocking but this baseball player
For the. Yankees retired him and his family went to
vacation and while they were, on vacation they all.
Speaker 1 (01:35:12):
Got sick but their fourteen year old. Son died.
Speaker 6 (01:35:19):
And they're not saying where they were on, vacation at
they're not saying what they got. Sick with but the
youngest Son Of brett Gardner died friday at the age.
Speaker 1 (01:35:28):
Of fourteen.
Speaker 6 (01:35:30):
It's terrible The former yankees outfielder said they fell ill
along with several other.
Speaker 1 (01:35:37):
Family members while.
Speaker 6 (01:35:38):
On, vacation quote we have so many questions and so
few answers at, this point but. We do but we
do know that he passed. Away peacefullness sleep on the Morning,
Of friday march.
Speaker 1 (01:35:48):
Twenty first.
Speaker 6 (01:35:51):
He was a beloved son and brother and we cannot
yet comprehend our life without his. Infectious smile he, loved, football, baseball,
golf hunting.
Speaker 1 (01:35:57):
Blah, blah right he's a.
Speaker 6 (01:35:59):
Good kid and they announced it Through. The yankees they
didn't do it like their Own, the YANKEES which i
think is, that's, Fine right but it's not clear on
what happened this that they were on vacation and he
DIED and i cannot. Fathom, this no well they all, got, sick, right,
(01:36:23):
yeah okay and he's just the only one that's to come.
Speaker 1 (01:36:25):
To, It yeah so.
Speaker 8 (01:36:29):
Trying, to think just trying to think of like things
that could, affect everybody right and kill. One person, food poisoning,
food poisoning maybe salmonilla.
Speaker 1 (01:36:37):
Kills, people, sure yeah some kind of brain. Eating amba
it wouldn't be. That fast it's like they were. On,
VACATION yeah i don't know how.
Speaker 8 (01:36:47):
That, works again we don't know where they, went, though
right you'd like, to think, you, know wow this is
a former major league. Baseball player i'm sure he took his,
you know family to some nice place maybe or, YOU
know i. Don't know maybe they're playing down on the Swamp.
IN louisiana i.
Speaker 1 (01:37:05):
Don't know it is. VERY unfortunate i want. To know
surely there'll be, an AUTOPSY don. I, would again we
don't know where, he's at and sometimes autopsies take, a
while and transporting bodies from other countries isn't like.
Speaker 6 (01:37:24):
To me, that is let's just Go with let's just
put aside how horrible it is that your. Kid dies
let's put how horrible it would be to discover them
while you're on. Vacation aside the logistics of figuring out
how to get your kid Back to america. Feels Exhausting
and i'm sure you can pay someone to. Do it
(01:37:45):
the Man Played Major, league baseball twenty five million dollars,
net worth like that type. Of thing, BUT still i gotta,
be honest if my kid that happens, To me i'm.
Speaker 1 (01:37:55):
Not leaving i'm not leaving.
Speaker 6 (01:37:58):
My, kid oh even, In that i'm at least gonna
escort the body On the i'm gonna you KNOW.
Speaker 7 (01:38:05):
What, I, MEAN yeah i want to stay.
Speaker 6 (01:38:06):
With them i'm not gonna resort that to treat it,
like hey pick up my, dry, CLEANING right i would
feel an OBLIGATION because i would probably have guilt that
WHAT did? I, miss? Right right And so i'm going
to try and compensate for that by being there to
escort them.
Speaker 1 (01:38:23):
Back, home now when did it just happen over?
Speaker 9 (01:38:29):
The?
Speaker 1 (01:38:29):
Weekend, yeah Okay? On. FRIDAY okay i was trying, to, think, like,
well okay so maybe maybe if it's been a week
or if it was, just yesterday that's why we don't
have any answers. Or ANYTHING but i mean it Was, just,
friday yeah, you know so that makes that makes sense
why we don't have any answers Yet because i'm not
finding and maybe it's the family's decision.
Speaker 8 (01:38:52):
If they want to put that. Information, out hey we
were Vacationing in aruba and he. Went snorkeling we all, went,
snorkeling well and he felt, you know we all. Got
sick the.
Speaker 1 (01:39:02):
Next day.
Speaker 6 (01:39:02):
He's dead not, only that but you could have uh
something else unknowingly and getting sick there could have. Accelerated
it that. Is true so this says these are things
that could kill you in. Seven, days okay, bacterial meningitis,
brain swelling sepsis and killing hours.
Speaker 1 (01:39:22):
To days, that's Nasty, But, okay.
Speaker 8 (01:39:25):
Well we just want to pause on that for a,
Second though like that would show up and you, would,
know right like when your kid came down with meningiet
as you knew something, wasn't right and you took it
straight to, the hospital right and got her taken care
of and you know she.
Speaker 1 (01:39:38):
Is now we only caught It because.
Speaker 6 (01:39:45):
I'm, a, Hypochondriac right, and two it felt like it.
Speaker 1 (01:39:50):
Wasn't common but what was she.
Speaker 6 (01:39:52):
Was doing she was a teenager and sleeping and not
wanting to. Get, UP okay i probably would have not, noticed it.
That's fair only because we went not even twenty four
hours from the first time we noticed she wasn't wanting to,
get up, Right that, we're like this is not normal. Baby, behavior,
(01:40:13):
okay okay so it is possible that for sure being
contracted and just normal.
Speaker 1 (01:40:18):
Teenage, behavior yes it's, just like, Okay whatever only because
my child was six months old did we? Catch it
that is it.
Speaker 6 (01:40:25):
Got you got you early enough most times back to
Theman and juyces caught way, too.
Speaker 9 (01:40:29):
Late okay and again in, this case the whole family.
Speaker 6 (01:40:32):
Was sick everybody. Got, sick yes now back to it
floats in the, air, like right it's everybody. Has it
you can. Spread it sepsis body wide infection leads to,
organ failure so he could have got sick and. Sepsius,
unknowingly yeah the resort doctor couldn't have. Caught, Right, yeah
(01:40:53):
uh flesh, eating disease, it's POSSIBLE but i. Would think
you see, somebody's, wound right, you're, like oh, that's BUBBLY
like i would like to think true or.
Speaker 16 (01:41:07):
It's.
Speaker 8 (01:41:07):
Growing true but if you're a teenage boy and you
don't want to you don't want, to one you don't
want to cut vacation short for you and, your, family
right maybe there's some embarrassment that.
Speaker 1 (01:41:18):
Wherever the, KIND is i.
Speaker 8 (01:41:20):
Don't know you may not mention it to. Your Folks
hey i've got this gash here that's, you know. Pretty
infected you need to get it.
Speaker 9 (01:41:28):
CHECKED out i think a fourteen year old would freak
out if they saw that on, their body and would
some would, be, like oh this this doesn't look, right.
Speaker 7 (01:41:36):
Mom dad somebody.
Speaker 1 (01:41:37):
Depends on, the, Upbringing.
Speaker 6 (01:41:39):
Right, uh, ebola sure, organ failure, you did death occurring within.
A week toxins, and poisoning, botulism okay paralyzes muscles lungs leading. To,
death uh tonightis. Muscle spasms respiratory failure can. Occur quickly.
(01:42:00):
Organ failure he could have just had a normal sickness
that everybody, else had but he had organ.
Speaker 1 (01:42:04):
Failure, exactly yeah which could be a, different.
Speaker 9 (01:42:06):
Thing right complete dehydration from flu symptoms can shut down.
Speaker 6 (01:42:11):
Your kidneys people underestimate diarye all. The, time, yes yeah
that you can get the hydrated.
Speaker 1 (01:42:16):
Pretty fast liver, failure, okay yeah maybe he had a.
Speaker 6 (01:42:21):
Drinking, problem, uh pills, cardiac arrest sudden hard. Inflammations okay
diabetic keto acidosis can put you in a coma if.
Not death so there are many things that could have
taken this person's life at a.
Speaker 1 (01:42:38):
Young age or they got.
Speaker 8 (01:42:41):
The shot that's probably what. It, was say IS that
covid shot coming?
Speaker 1 (01:42:46):

right we gotta take. A break we'll. Be Back Eelsa's.

D join's on the line Now Is jeff Hensley of Hensley.
And associate's, Good, Morning, jeff hey, good Morning and jeff
is here to answer any question you have about, family, law,
custody guardianship, name change anything. Like that And when jeff,
IS on i like to get us started with a
question that is in. The news and there are two
celebrities lower prepond from that seventy Show And, ben foster another,
(01:49:16):
great actor is in the news because he is claiming
illicit marital conduct when they were married that what can?
Speaker 1 (01:49:29):
That be is it? ALWAYS cheating i.
Speaker 10 (01:49:31):
Don't know maybe, it's cheating. It's hard i'm guessing that's what.
IT is, i mean we don't have anything specifically labeled
that Way, in oklahoma but my guess is is that
that's what. It is and, of course remember a lot
of these celebrities have massive prenups that, include cheating clauses
and things. Like that so that's probably what it's, referring
to is.
Speaker 6 (01:49:50):
My guess if you have a Question for jeff, about
divorce a couple of ways to get it. To us
the email addresses show at kmod. Dot com you can
TEXT it bmms in whatever your question is to eight
two nine. Four five you can call at nine one
eight four SIX. Zero kmod you can pursue Cheating in
oklahoma as a reason, for divorce but it's something you've.
Speaker 1 (01:50:10):
Advised, against well.
Speaker 10 (01:50:13):
The Only reason, i'm advising, EXCUSE me i advise against
it is because when you start doing anything outside, of
incompatibility you now.
Speaker 13 (01:50:21):
Have a burden.
Speaker 10 (01:50:22):
Of, proof so in, other words if for some reason
you claimed adult tree or severe abuse or whatever it,
may be you now have to prove to the court
if it went to a trial phase or even a temporary,
order phase you now have a burden approof to show
to the court that that thing is. Actually happening and so,
you know that's one of the reasons they kind of
(01:50:42):
came up with no fault divorce or incompatibility is simply
because then it eliminated the burden of proof, on things
and so, you know it's NOT that i necessarily advise,
against it other than to say you now have a burden,
of proof whereas with incompatibility there is no burden. A
proof so that's why ninety nine point nine percent.
Speaker 13 (01:50:59):
Of of all people file.
Speaker 10 (01:51:01):
For incompatibility and YOU know i have filed for the
other twice in, my career both the times it dealt
with dealing with the other side being some part of
the clergy that my client wanted to bring attention to.
Speaker 13 (01:51:13):
Or embarrassed but outside.
Speaker 10 (01:51:14):
Of that i've always done incompatibility because again there's no burden.
Speaker 1 (01:51:18):
A proof Jeff From hensleying associates is on.
Speaker 6 (01:51:21):
With us you have a question about family law that
can be anything from divorce to something relatively simple like.
Name change he can answer the logistics, of that so
good your question. To us email addresses show at kmod.
Dot com you can text your question bmmss and whatever
that question is to eight two nine, four five or
you can call at nine.
Speaker 1 (01:51:38):
One eight four six OH.
Speaker 6 (01:51:39):
Kmo d this, Text says i've been raising my stepdaughter
since she was, a baby but her biological father has been.
Completely ABSENT can i adopt her without. His consent you.
Speaker 10 (01:51:51):
Can absolutely there is a clause for that in the
adoption code that does allow. For, that now, you know
as far as be able, to adopt you've got to
make sure that you can meet the burdens of yours
part of, the statute which would include, things like, you
know no felony BACKGROUNDS or dhs investigations.
Speaker 13 (01:52:09):
And stuff but, you know, typically.
Speaker 10 (01:52:11):
Yeah, absolutely now the, good thing or one of the
things is you've got to understand is we've got to
find the individual to give them notice of what's. Going
on but even if you don't know where, they are we.
Can publish, so yeah there's definitely ways to, handle that
and just give us a call and we can help you.
Speaker 6 (01:52:25):
With That jeff Hensley From hensley associates is on the
phone numbers nine one eight four SIX zero kmod or
you can text bmms and then whatever your question is
to eight two nine, four five or you can email
show at kmod. Dot com this one says how long
after a child turns eighteen does a parent still have
to pay? Child support child is still living with mother
but isn't.
Speaker 1 (01:52:45):
In, school.
Speaker 10 (01:52:47):
Well if, the child the way the law is written
is is that you only continue to pay past the
age of eighteen until the child graduates or is continually
enrolled in school up until the age.
Speaker 13 (01:52:58):
Of twenty so what that means, is is in.
Speaker 10 (01:53:01):
This, particular, case whoever this is if the child is
not in school and continuously enrolled in attending and they're
over the age, of eighteen then essentially and they're past
the age of graduation and the essentially the child support
should not. Be happening and this is this is one
of the. Important Things and i'm kind of glad this
came up because we've talked about. This before there's not
(01:53:21):
an automatic termination of child support when a kid turns
eighteen or graduates. High school there's kind of this misconception
that there is. An, automation now, some counties SOME county
dhs offices are more better equipped to be able to
look ahead to, those issues and there are some that
(01:53:42):
happen where they do automatically. Terminate it but that's not, The.
Norm okay the norm is is that the burden is
on you to terminate the child support once it's the
child is eighteen or has graduated. High school so if
you've got that, coming up please give me. A call,
you know we want to start that. Process early don't,
call me, you Know in may when the child is
(01:54:02):
actually graduating and expect to be stopped.
Speaker 13 (01:54:04):
That month it doesn't happen.
Speaker 10 (01:54:05):
That QUICKLY what i usually tell everyone is give me
a Call about march so we can get everything filed
and ready, to go so that by the time the
child is Graduating, in may then it'll be stopped and
we can get you taken. Care of so if you're having,
that issue please give me.
Speaker 6 (01:54:18):
A call if you're someone who's decided not to participate
in the process at all and don't, file paperwork could
you be?
Speaker 10 (01:54:26):
Paying forever, YOU know i don't know about, FOR everybody
i will tell you the oldest One that i've personally
dealt with is the children were over the age of
twenty five and they were. Still paying they'd been paying
for the last seven years on top of a after graduating.
At eighteen, SO yeah, i mean what will happen is
if that automatic payment that comes out of your checks
(01:54:49):
not stopped at that, income assignment and then it's just
going to keep drawing and drawing, and drawing and the
next thing, we know we've got seven years. Of overpayments
that have gone to a parent that legally didn't deserve
them and trying to get that money back is damn.
Near impossible so with that, in mind we want to
make sure we get you taking care of when they're
turning eighteen or graduating. High school so please please give
(01:55:12):
me a call so we don't have you paying out
an extra.
Speaker 6 (01:55:14):
Seven years someone want to is tagging onto the conversation
about stopping child support. At eighteen it says do force
paper say child support only goes. To eighteen it doesn't
say anything about? High school does it stop?
Speaker 1 (01:55:26):
At, eighteen actually a divorce paperwork.
Speaker 10 (01:55:30):
Does say if it's, properly drafted it'll say that you
pay until the child reage's age of eighteen or if
they are continuously enrolled up until the age. Of twenty
so what that means is if your, kid turns, say
example eighteen, years Old in october of their, senior, year
okay child support is you continue to pay it until
the child.
Speaker 13 (01:55:50):
Graduates in The. Following may.
Speaker 10 (01:55:52):
All right so, let's say, for example your child is
eighteen and is not Graduating, in may but has an
extra year because they've been held back. Or something, all
right you would continue to pay until.
Speaker 13 (01:56:02):
They graduate.
Speaker 10 (01:56:04):
At, that point so it's eighteen or up, to twenty whichever,
comes first and when. They graduate, so again if the
degree is, written correctly it'll have all that information in
it that's required by.
Speaker 6 (01:56:18):
State law if it's, written incorrectly what is what? Takes,
PRECEDENT well, i mean.
Speaker 10 (01:56:24):
The law is, the law whether it's written correctly. Or
not the law is. The law so even if it's
not in, there correctly you, can't, say well, you know
it's not. My decree no one's going, to care at
least of all. The judge they're going, to, say well
that should have been, done correctly and you're still stuck
on the way the law's.
Speaker 1 (01:56:43):
Actually Written jeff Finsley From hehinsley associates is.
Speaker 6 (01:56:46):
With us you've got a question about family, law custody
when you should, stop paying if you should. Start paying
he can answer those right now, nine one eight four
to SIX oho kmod or you CAN text bmms and
whatever that question is to eight two nine. Four five
this is my wife would like to foster her niece,
and Nephew but i'm. A FELON would dhs consider to
allow us?
Speaker 10 (01:57:05):
To foster probably NOT the dhs rules are very strict
on those issues about felonies and about, fostering children so,
you know everything's on a case by case base and
it doesn't hurt. To try but instead, of fostering what
we should be doing is getting. A guardianship but, even then,
(01:57:28):
you know you run into the issue of the felony
and it. ALL depends, i mean is it thirty years
old and the felony was is you know you got
busted for pot or is this a. Violent felony there
are things to consider and ways to, address it but
we would need to know specifically what the felony is
and how old. It, is so whoever, this is please
(01:57:48):
give me. A call let's talk about it and see
if we can make things happen.
Speaker 6 (01:57:51):
For you IT says i have heard that the court
focuses on the best interest of the child when, deciding
Custody but i'm not sure what that. Actually means what
specific factors do they, look at and HOW can i
Make sure i'm presenting my case in the best.
Speaker 1 (01:58:05):
Way, possible well.
Speaker 10 (01:58:07):
Best interest is basically dealing with what's the, you know
what's the healthiest thing for the child for? Growing up
who's going to be, for example one of the things
we talk about. In, custody okay remember Custody in oklahoma
only goes to legal. Decision making it has nothing to
do with the amount of time that either parent spends with.
The child so what that, means is in a joint,
(01:58:27):
custy situation, for example you guys would have to make
joint legal decisions for. The children, you know since things
as major, medical decisions major dental, you know all those
what we call major life, altering decisions you guys would
have to. Make, together now when it talks about, best
interests it's one of those things going when we're looking
at soul versus joint what's in the child's? Best interest in,
(01:58:50):
other words do we have two parents that are willing
to work together for the betterment of, the child or
do we have just one parent that's willing to do
that or able to. Do that so best interest it's
kind of a we don't have a. Set list so in,
other words if you're if you want to go to
the statutes and look at, best interest you can't find
a definition that says this is everything that has to
(01:59:11):
be looked at for. Best interest the one thing about
the family law statutes compared to other statutes is is
there's a lot of leeway given to judges as to
for them to decide what they think is in the
best interest based upon their beliefs and their, own experiences
that sort.
Speaker 13 (01:59:29):
Of thing so it's one of those there's no.
Speaker 10 (01:59:31):
Straight definition but basically a lot of times it boils,
down to, you know is one parent a drug addict
and the other parent? Is not is one parent willing
to help foster relationship and the other. ONE'S not, i
mean it's basically what is the healthiest thing for the
child in the, long run for the betterment of their.
Speaker 6 (01:59:51):
Young years Jeff From bensley associates is on. With us
you have a question about divorce or custody or guardianship or,
name change you can call it nine to eight four TO.
Six kmod you can email show at kmod dot dot
com OR text bmms and whatever your question is to
eight two nine.
Speaker 1 (02:00:06):
Four five this, EMAIL.
Speaker 6 (02:00:08):
Says i recently found out my ex might have been
seeing someone else when we, were together And now i'm
not sure if the child. Is mine i've been paying
child support for, a while but WHAT can i do
to confirm paternity and protect. Myself legally if it Turns
out i'm not, the, father.
Speaker 10 (02:00:22):
Well you're only allowed to dispute that up until. Age
two and if they're already paying, child support it sounds
like there's already an order in place that says that
their dad now more than likely this individual's name is
on the. Birth certificate and to sign an acknowledgment when
you've got an issue like that and now you're, questioning
paternity the only way that you can get out of
(02:00:44):
that is if it's called the seven OH six. B
argument and what that all that means is IS that
i have to take it out. Of it you're going
to have to find somebody else that is willing to
step up or has stepped up and holds the child
that is their own and is willing to take care of,
them legally and those sorts of things moving, forward financially
those kind. Of things but, you know the boat's kind
(02:01:05):
of kind of sailed at. THAT point, i mean that's
why if you've got any, questions whatsoever we DO the
dna test at the, very beginning not several years after.
The fact if you've already been adjudicated as dad and
you've been paying, child support, and now out of the
blue you think the child might not, be yours then
you've got, an issue and the only way out.
Speaker 13 (02:01:25):
Of that is the seven OH six.
Speaker 10 (02:01:27):
B argument and the other question begs is, you know
if you've got a relationship with, this child do you
want to? Ruin that, you know there's a lot of,
factors involved and that's why it's important you give us
a call so that we can walk you through and
help you make one of those decisions that will alter
the course of your life for the.
Speaker 6 (02:01:43):
Child's life and if you are going to do a
seven OH six b argument where someone else is going, to,
Say hey i'm, the dad you really are going to
need the mother or the other party to be actively involved, in, That, right,
WELL yeah.
Speaker 10 (02:01:59):
I mean you.
Speaker 13 (02:01:59):
Have to she's going to be involved in the legal process.
Speaker 10 (02:02:02):
On that there'll be a guardian at item that is
appointed by the court to do an investigation and all sorts.
Of things, so yeah it's a complicated process and that's
why you don't want to represent yourself in those kind.
Speaker 6 (02:02:16):
Of Arguments jeff Finsley From hensley associates is on. With us,
this says my ex has a history of, domestic Violence
and i'm scared for my kid's safety if they have
to spend time.
Speaker 1 (02:02:24):
With him he's trying to get.
Speaker 6 (02:02:25):
Unsupervised visitation HOW can i protect my children while still
following the.
Speaker 5 (02:02:29):
Legal, PROCESS well, i.
Speaker 10 (02:02:32):
Mean when it comes down, to that it's going to
be left up to the court if the parties can't
agree on a visitation schedule or a type of visitation supervised.
VERSUS unsupervised, i mean one of the things we do
is that if the individual has, been violent we've got
to put forth to the court exactly what the instances of.
Violence were did they involve, the children did they not involve.
(02:02:53):
THE children, i mean there's all sorts of factors that go,
into that and that's why you want to make sure.
Speaker 13 (02:02:59):
You give us all so that we can help.
Speaker 10 (02:03:01):
With that, you know it's the judge will always err
on the side of caution in regards to whether or
not children should be around people that. Are violent but,
you know the other issue is is you've got to
prove to the court that was there any sort of
violence done to the children or around. The children if
the answer, is no then we're dealing with a. Different
(02:03:22):
issue and you know there's a chance there may be
some unsupervised visits at some point simply because the person
was not violent around the children or to. The, children
now that doesn't mean that they won't be required to
do some sort of parenting class or, you know anger
management or or domestic violence assessments.
Speaker 13 (02:03:41):
Or whatnot but there's always. That possibility.
Speaker 6 (02:03:45):
This, text says my ex is holding my kid back,
in SCHOOL so i.
Speaker 1 (02:03:49):
Pay more WHAT can i, DO.
Speaker 10 (02:03:53):
Well, i mean first, of all we're gonna have to.
PROVE that, i mean if it's just that sounds like conjecture.
To me in, other words maybe, it's true maybe. It's
not that's one of the things we'll have, to figure,
you know prove to the court or find out and
prove that that's. THE case, i mean that's pretty cruel
to the child to hold him back just for, money's
(02:04:14):
sake and one of those things that the burden of
proof is now pretty heavy when you come in, and,
SAY well i want to modify this because or terminate
THIS because i believe or think that she's holding him
BACK so i have to pay. MORE money, i mean
there's a lot of proof in there that we're going
to have to get to to be able to show
that to, the court and whoever sent this sin please
give me. A call i'd like to talk to you
(02:04:35):
and find out why you believe that to be, the case.
Speaker 1 (02:04:39):
And what kind of evidence would.
Speaker 6 (02:04:41):
You have you're going to have to have a teacher
or an administrator come in, and, say, YES.
Speaker 10 (02:04:46):
Well i mean when you're holding, kids back it's typically because.
THE teacher, i mean there's a lot of difference as
the whole. Kids, back okay don't, misunderstand me and parents
have the right to, do that, but, typically yeah you'd
have to have somebody come in, and, SAY well i
don't think that the child needs to be. HELD back
i think they're, you know emotionally ready for their, next
grade that they are, you know academically ready for their,
(02:05:09):
next grade that they are mature enough for the. NEXT grade,
i mean you'd have to have somebody coming in, and,
SAY look i don't think this child should be, held
BACK and i don't understand why mom keeps holding this.
Kid back it'd be a very. Strange case i've never
heard of people, doing this although nothing surprises me. These days,
But again i'd love to hear the reason why this
individual thinks mom is holding the Kid.
Speaker 6 (02:05:31):
Back listen every case is dramatically different and there might
be something, in there like you think the decree, is
accurate but maybe it's not following, the law like we
pointed out with one of the one of the payments
for when a child. Is eighteen that's why you got
to have somebody represent you one to make sure the
decree is drawn up correctly, and accurately but also to
(02:05:52):

Speaker 12 (02:07:52):

Speaker 1 (02:07:53):
FOUR five i saw.
Speaker 6 (02:07:55):
THIS story, I mean i want to make the statement
that people suck like they're. Not good some of us,
are trying some of, us AREN'T and i feel LIKE
sometimes i get, that wrong AND then i read stories
LIKE this a sexual assault, survivor suspect his, younger brother maybe.
Speaker 1 (02:08:11):
His son oh oh.
Speaker 6 (02:08:14):
Wow quote i'm speaking out because there are people suffering
in silence, right now AND if i was gonna suffer
to the extent that you were, AWARE of i didn't
want to do it, silently anymore the twenty five year.
Old said in, Twenty fifteen logan was sixteen. Years old
he came forward to report sexual assault allegations involving. His Mother,
(02:08:38):
oh god nearly half of all men will report experiencing
some form of sexual harassment or sexual assault in.
Speaker 1 (02:08:45):
Their lifetime.
Speaker 6 (02:08:48):
And say, that AGAIN because i don't think people really
know that nearly half of all men will report experiencing
some form of sexual harassment of sexual assault in. Their,
lifetimes logan who sexually success fully helped pass a ballot
question REQUIRING voter Id, last november said why?
Speaker 1 (02:09:04):
THAT'S important i don't know. Who cares that has nothing
to do with. The, story no maybe it just goes
to show how important this kid is and how we
can get. THINGS done i.
Speaker 6 (02:09:20):
Don't know quote there's a possibility my brother could be.
My son i'm still directly involved in the mess that
has been left. To me he, told police and later
testified that, His, mother doreen began sexually assaulting him when he.
Speaker 1 (02:09:36):
Was ten.
Speaker 6 (02:09:38):
Prosecutors Alleged that doren sexually assaulted his son for, several
years later charging her with sexual assault with a minor.
And incest she has maintained her innocence and took and
took a plea deal on a, lesser charge including attempted. Sexual,
assault essentially it's a plea for, no contest and it
(02:09:59):
means a definite does not, admit guilt but does believe
prosecutors have enough evidence to convince a jury. To convict
in late, twenty fifteen a judge sentenced her to eight
to twenty years.
Speaker 9 (02:10:10):
In, prison well which is it eight? Or twenty that's what,
bothers me.
Speaker 1 (02:10:16):
Like cable, Guy, times, YES exactly i think it depends on.
Some things obviously she has to do a minimum, of
eight but could do as much. As.
Speaker 6 (02:10:24):
Twenty right the judge also ordered her to register as a.
Sex Offender The Nevada parole board granted her Parole, last july.
Speaker 1 (02:10:35):
But she was still in custody as of.
Speaker 6 (02:10:36):
Last week senator in prison was half way VINDICATING because
i thought the largest problem of my life was originally,
dealt with, he said adding that. He went he was
then left with helping raise his, younger siblings including one
brother with cognitive difficulties born around the time of the reported.
Sexual assaults he deserves to live a quiet and, peaceful
(02:10:58):
life and said he's. Here now he didn't ask for any.
Of this the young man who was caring for that
sibling has since filed a, paternity case asking the judge
to order an advanced test to determine who his brother's
father is and if it comes, Back negative i'm still
filing for custody because it doesn't change the OBLIGATION that
i have. To him in the year since his, mother's
(02:11:20):
incarceration he has worked on, political campaigns, got married and has.
Speaker 1 (02:11:24):
Had.
Speaker 6 (02:11:24):
CHILDREN wow i really wound up having to make a
lot of critical decisions at a very early AGE because
i was looking at the impact that it would have
had on my siblings and it's ugly, and visceral but
it doesn't change the fact that it needed to.
Speaker 1 (02:11:40):
Be done she remained In.
Speaker 6 (02:11:42):
Custody wednesday As, of wednesday though it's unclear why the
parole board granted her parole.
Speaker 1 (02:11:47):
Last year.
Speaker 6 (02:11:49):
Tempted contactor has. Been unsuccessful, before sentencing her attorney maintained
his client's innocence And, said logan a child at, the
time had ample opportunity to report. The, allegation damn what. A,
take yeah well that child didn't. Speak up it's not
her she's, in it and that kid he. Had, time yeah
(02:12:11):
it's a pretty crappy way to look.
Speaker 10 (02:12:12):
At.
Speaker 6 (02:12:13):
It man as, an adult, he said that comment shows
how the system. Failed him hearing on the paternity case
of Scheduled.
Speaker 1 (02:12:20):
For may, to, Me.
Speaker 6 (02:12:24):
Listen i'm not questioning how this guy's. DOING it i
cannot even comprehend what all. That's like but if you're
going to take, custard anyway why go through that torment.
Speaker 1 (02:12:35):
To find out WHAT the? Dna? Test foreclosure there.
Speaker 7 (02:12:39):
Isn't, CLOSURE well I mean i think he.
Speaker 8 (02:12:42):
It's his, own curiosity is what. It is he wants
to know if he happens to be the father of
this this disabled baby, or not, you know and just
add another layer To His jerry. Springer, story ah it's?
Would you would you if You this, logan character would
you go Through with you're gonna go ahead and file for,
(02:13:05):
custody anyway adopt, them whatever making your?
Speaker 1 (02:13:08):
Own right and would you go through WITH the dna
test to find out if you were The? DEAD lindsey i?
Speaker 9 (02:13:15):
Would yeah and could that potentially be another charge? AGAINST
her I mean.
Speaker 1 (02:13:21):
I think they already got her. On, incest, yeah okay.
Speaker 6 (02:13:26):
Younger me maybe older me feels like the cat's only
dead because you open, the, box right what's? It matter
if you're gonna if the end result is, the same
why go through. ALL that i, get it you're gonna,
have anxiety you're gonna have, Mental breakdown you're gonna have all.
These things but if you're still gonna do the same
thing no, matter what why go?
Speaker 1 (02:13:45):
Through that just say it is right and just let.
Speaker 8 (02:13:48):
It, Be right and that could change the way that
you look at this younger.
Speaker 1 (02:13:54):
Sibling child you KNOW what?
Speaker 8 (02:13:55):
I mean i don't want to, say resentment but, it's like,
you know it could be a sense.
Speaker 6 (02:14:01):
Of disgust sounds like you're already acting as if, all,
RIGHT right i want to know what other.
Speaker 1 (02:14:11):
Adults were in the in the in. THAT circle.
Speaker 8 (02:14:15):
I knew that what was. GOING on i never. Said
anything it's hard to know if they, knew. Anything right
i'm sure that they don't just go, Around, BRAGGING oh,
i uh totally raped my son.
Speaker 7 (02:14:28):
Last night, you know.
Speaker 1 (02:14:30):
Not something that comes up over cards or no.
Speaker 6 (02:14:34):
Or. Sex no but if you are at a friend's
house and you see an adult and a child, be
close how much closeness has to occur for you to raise? A?
Speaker 1 (02:14:46):
Flag?
Speaker 8 (02:14:48):
Right right and especially something that's a mother's son relationship
or father. DAUGHTER relationship i think the father daughter you
might you'll look at it and your red flag would
go up little, bit sooner you KNOW what?
Speaker 6 (02:15:02):
I mean i, Don't, know, like again what is the
what is the violation short of an obvious right? Of
course what is the violation that would make you raise?
The flag plenty of daughters sit on their. Dad's, laps yeah,
but okay here. You go if she seems like you
can look and tell if somebody feels forced, or, Uncomfortable
(02:15:25):
Right so i'd say if, it was, you know we'll
just do daddy.
Speaker 1 (02:15:30):
Daughter.
Speaker 8 (02:15:30):
Day here if if if she looks, very, uncomfortable cringing,
you know trying to, get Away but dad's.
Speaker 1 (02:15:38):
Like, no, no, no no stay, right here stay on.
Dad's lap you KNOW what, i mean that's probably would, be,
like hey you're gonna you're. GONNA intervene i ain't gonna.
Say nothing I'm all, i'm, like hey did you see
how gossip?
Speaker 8 (02:15:54):
About, it okay, let's like, you, know listen if you
get enough people on board, with you then in reading
is not.
Speaker 6 (02:16:01):
That bad so in, the moment like as an out
like not in the moment, RIGHT now i would like
To think i'm gonna say something because and whatever that,
LOOKS like i, don't know call the, police whatever Because if,
I'm wrong i'm okay with.
Speaker 9 (02:16:14):
BEING wrong i kind of think that that an obvious
sign would be that the child would be uncomfortable around.
Speaker 6 (02:16:22):
The mom what about when kids are uncomfortable when it's
time to leave. A store i mean that that uncomfortable
kids is. Not, uncommon now if you go to hug
your kid and there you go give mommy a kiss and, they're, like,
no yeah.
Speaker 7 (02:16:39):
That's, common yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:16:43):
She's coming at him with. The, tongue though, even then
if you give daddy, a kids you, Would, go okay
the dad's being silly. AND weird i think you're you're.
Speaker 8 (02:16:57):
Absolutely right short of, the obvious there's really nothing that you,
you know would now because kids be kids and parents,
be parents and, you know short of him grabbing her
ass in front, of, everybody yeah.
Speaker 6 (02:17:12):
It's hard to know unless you're, you know you go
into a, back room right and they're naked in. Bed,
Together right i'm, just, saying like what what is the?
The sign what is the clear? IT'S happening, I don't.
I DON'T maybe i need to be educated.
Speaker 8 (02:17:29):
On, that right, all, right everybody let's gather around for a,
quick picture and then the kid just instantly starts taking off.
THEIR clothes i think that that's that's a good sign,
right there.
Speaker 1 (02:17:38):
Because kids don't. Do that you just don't, do, that.
Speaker 8 (02:17:42):
Man when it comes to regular group photos or just photos.
In general but the kid's been conditioned. To it, are,
LIKE well i think you're dying my paints off.
Speaker 1 (02:17:52):
REAL quick. I don't, I mean i don't remember reading
any of, that HAPPENING.
Speaker 8 (02:17:57):
But i, Don't no I'm just i'm trying to think,
of like where is short of, the obvious you caught
him in bed naked together, or whatever, you know how would?
Speaker 1 (02:18:06):
You, tell well that probably might be a.
Speaker 6 (02:18:09):
GOOD one i was reading a story online this weekend
of a girl whose dad she wanted to stay the
night at a friend's house and the dad, was like
will there be any?
Speaker 1 (02:18:17):
Men?
Speaker 6 (02:18:17):
There right and SHE said i, was unsure so he
called the parent and the parent, was, Like no it'll
be the daughter and.
Speaker 1 (02:18:26):
Me and her sister and.
Speaker 6 (02:18:29):
That's it and my dad, comes over drops, me off says,
you know, comes in, says, hello whatever da da, da da,
and leaves and unbeknownst, to me this is the person telling.
Speaker 1 (02:18:43):
The story the woman's boyfriend, is, there oh even though
there's already, told dang gonna be no.
Speaker 6 (02:18:50):
Dudes there and he assaulted her sexually multiple times for.
Multiple years and you can do everything right as, a
parent but if the, other, parent yeah. Not you THAT'S
why i just don't trust, people, Right right and maybe
that maybe that man wasn't there at the time that,
(02:19:10):
question happened and maybe there was no plans for him to, come,
over right doesn't mean that that other parent, was, dishonest.
Speaker 8 (02:19:18):
Right right and clearly it's not always the guy that. Does,
it yeah that's what makes that story, so bizarre because
you don't hear about a lot of mothers sexually assaulting their.
Speaker 1 (02:19:29):
Young, SONS yeah i mean you.
Speaker 6 (02:19:30):
Heard the staff instead fifty percent sexually assaulted by a woman,
by somebody, by somebody exactly.
Speaker 8 (02:19:38):
By somebody but most of, the time you, you know
it's Creepy uncle steve or your dad.
Speaker 1 (02:19:43):
Or whatever you don't hear about.
Speaker 8 (02:19:44):
The mom, doing it, You know and it's so. So
bizarre you'd think you would think as a mother.
Speaker 1 (02:19:54):
You'd. Be different but people are sick no matter who.
Speaker 6 (02:19:59):
YOU are i wanted, to, see like who commits more sexual?
Assaults statistically men? Or, WOMEN yeah i want, To say
i'm gonna put my money on. The, man yeah what
do you think the? Percentage is if we're gonna do
a split down the middle of lindsay what.
Speaker 1 (02:20:14):
Do you think of men? And? Women, Eighty okay.
Speaker 8 (02:20:19):
I'd say. That's fair just to, be different let's go,
seventy five.
Speaker 1 (02:20:23):
Twenty five.
Speaker 8 (02:20:25):
But overwhelmingly THE men i feel are the purps ninety,
Percent dum.
