again and the Clippers have one oftheir best wins of the season. They
win by twenty four over the MilwaukeeBucks at Staples Center. Welcome into your
Clippers postgame show. I'm at damOslin. This is Clippers Talk coming up

(00:57):
here on the show. We'll getto your phone calls eight seven seven five
to zero eleven fifty eight seven sevenfive two zero eleven fifty is the phone
number or get to me at followAdam May on Twitter. Charles Mockler from
Lockdown Clips will be here for analysisafter Terrence Man does it again, but
less with the scoring that stood outfor me tonight with him, it was

(01:19):
more about the passing. He finishedwith six assists and zero turnovers. And
we're talking about dazzling assists. Wesaw the other night. He had that
no look past to Nicholas Batum fora layup underneath the basket. He had
another one in the second half toNicholas Batum that was a no look passing

(01:41):
Batum when knocked down the three pointer. The Clippers knocked down a lot of
them after the first quarter. Letme speak to that for a second.
The Clippers were two of ten inthe first quarter, the Milwaukee Bucks seven
of eleven. That's why they ledby as many as twelve to start things
off early in this game. Butfrom then on, from the second quarter
through the fourth, the Clippers hitseventeen of their next twenty four attempts from

(02:08):
beyond the arc, a seventy percent. They end up shooting nineteen of thirty
four overall. That's fifty six percent, and they get a twenty four point
victory over Jannis Denakopo and a MilwaukeeBucks team that I think circled this one.
They had some guys out the othernight and they were ready and locked

(02:28):
and loaded because Jannis had twelve pointsin that first quarter. Drew Holiday had
twelve points in that first quarter. But by the third quarter, after the
Clippers had a two point lead goinginto the half thanks to Terrence Man having
nine of his fourteen points in thatsecond quarter, and again those six assists
he had one to Reggie Jackson.Action Jackson going down the lane in the
second quarter was beautiful. Then aseverybody is afraid of Terrence Man attacking,

(02:53):
Now, well he can kick itback out to guys like Marcus Morris for
open three pointers, who went fourof seven led the Clippers with twenty five
points. That happened in the secondquarter and again in the fourth quarter,
but the Clippers were up to atthe half, and Reggie Jackson absolutely went
off. He wasn't the last guyto do the sew in this game to

(03:15):
catch fire. But in that thirdquarter, Reggie Jackson had fifteen of his
twenty points. Just absurd, andhe was getting into the basket and going
at guys. And then Luke Nard, somebody who hasn't played a lot of
minutes. Even after his game wherehe went eight for eight and was the

(03:36):
driving force of the clippers twenty twopoint come back against the Atlanta Hawks just
a few games ago, he hadn'tbeen playing much. Got some running the
first half. The last couple ofgames, but didn't play heavy minutes,
didn't get up a lot of shots. Tonight, though, he absolutely put
the Milwaukee Bucks away after hitting fourfour straight three pointers in a row,

(04:01):
and the first one came off ofa hustle play from Terrence Man with an
offensive rebound that he was able topoke back out to the perimeter for Luke
Kennard to catch, get in rhythmand put it through. With five of
six Luke did from the outside eightof eleven, had twenty one points,
his season high. Luke skywalker becausehe's probably walking on air right now,

(04:24):
at least it must feel like thatwhen you're that hot. Four straight three
pointers in a row. Milwaukee triedto ice them, they called a time
out, and then he came backand hit the fourth one. Clippers win
by twenty four over the Bucks witha final score of one twenty nine to
one oh five, and they makeit six straight. This team just flat

(04:46):
out looks different post All Star Break. Outside of one game against the New
Orleans Pelicans, their defense has beenfantastic, and during this winning streak,
they've been doing most of this withoutPat Bev, without Serge Ibacca, without
Paul George tonight, who was outwith a right foot injury. That was

(05:06):
a late scratch. Nobody saw thatcoming. And they still have guys that
just step up, and Terrence Mancontinues to provide that boost and that energy,
and at times the offense is runningthrough him. He's that hub in
there. He's not necessarily the pointguard, the true point guard they tried

(05:27):
to make him last season. He'sjust playing off of instincts now and just
let Terrence be Terrence. And Icannot believe some of the passes and some
of the reds he was making tonight. I know he's twenty four, but
he's still just a second year player, and he was a plus nineteen out
there off the bench and just continuesto help this team make runs because they

(05:50):
were down after the first quarter. They didn't look good in fact, the
second half of the first quarter, where the Milwaukee Bucks went on thirteen to
oh run in the final three minutesof that first quarter, Clippers were down
thirty eight to twenty six. Butthey were down ten in the first quarter
the other night against the Philadelphia seventysix ers, and they were down by

(06:13):
twenty two a few games ago againstthe Atlanta Hawks, It's starting to feel
like that mentality, that never giveup mentality, granted with a more talented
roster overall, is starting to mergetogether and meld where we were hoping that
would happen more often last season, but instead, throughout the regular season and
obviously in the playoffs, it wasthe opposition coming back on the Clippers.

(06:38):
Now I want to say they're twentyand one with a twenty point lead or
more. That one was against theGolden State Warriors the front end of a
back to back. They would comeback and win by twenty the next night
up in San Francisco. But thisteam is starting to show. At jeff'son
Tarzana has wanted to see Jeff isabout their killer instinct and not having enough

(07:01):
of it. But remember last timeout against Milwaukee Bucks where they went scoreless
in the last five minutes of thatgame, they went oh for nine or
at least Kawhi Leonard and PG thirteenboth did took some tough shots. They
didn't take many tough shots tonight. The passing was beautiful. The only way
you go seventeen of twenty four fromthree in the final three quarters is if

(07:24):
guys are getting open three pointers, and there were a lot of them.
They look like speaking of the GoldenState Warriors from a couple of years ago
from three who have one of theall time top three point percentages in a
season, I think it was thetwenty seventeen team. But the Clippers right
now best three point shooting team inthe league, but they haven't relied upon

(07:45):
it as much. They almost hadfifty points in the paint tonight and they're
still hustling out there on the boards. Thirteen offensive rebounds and how about Big
Zoo with five of them. Clippersout rebounded the Milwaukee Bucks, good rebounding
team, tough team, physical team, by fourteen. That is not easy

(08:09):
to do. And Janie still hadthirty two points on ten of twenty one
shooting. Like I said, hegot off to a hot start Sarah drew
Holiday that seemed like a recipe fordisaster. But early in that second quarter
of Viza Zubots locked in defensively.Jannis only had two points on the second
and I Viza Zubats was on hima lot of that quarter and did the

(08:31):
best he could. And then inthe second half you saw at one point
Marcus Moore's played really good defense onJances and a Koumpo who then went into
the lane and Iviza Zubats he raninto big Zoo, so you gotta throw
a wave of guys at him tostop him. But I thought overall,
yes, he had thirty two points, but they did enough clearly to win

(08:56):
by twenty four, up by tengoing into the fourth quarter, and then
Luke Kennard just knuked him with fourthree pointers in a row. But they
had I believe nine three pointers madeas a team in that fourth quarter,
because Marcus Morris hit one, aMere Coffee hit one, Patrick Patterson hit

(09:16):
one, Nicholas Bazum hit one. There's one more in there I'm missing,
or Marcus Morris might have hit twoof his four in the fourth quarter.
But what a performance by your LosAngeles Clippers to just dominate and run away
with a victory over the Milwaukee Bucksand make it six straight. They're thirty
two and sixteen on the season, seventeen and six at home, and they

(09:37):
got the Orlando Magic tomorrow night atStaples Center. Eight seven seven five two
zero eleven fifty eight seven seven fivetwo zero eleven fifty. I believe we
have Sean and Inglewood on the line, Sean, what's up? You're on
clippers Stope without of Maleston. Howare you, hey, greatest announcer,
how are you? Oh? You'reaway? Two con and that is it's

(10:01):
not April Fools yet. Give ita couple more tastes, Sean, Hey,
First of all, we Fargus started. Let me give a shout out
to you, said lady usc.How many times two teams from the same
city makes the Elite eight, Soit's proud of your boy. And secondly,
this was the same crowd McK loopy, because they do have a different

(10:24):
focus. As we were talking aboutbefore that our death, the killing mentality,
I see it now and you seeit's in every possession where they seem
to be more tuned in. AndI really want to give a shout out
to Reggy Jack because he has beengoing crazy lately, of course, and
canar get crazy tonight? Is thissuch a mornful thing? And every game

(10:48):
you see the maceration, the growthof our boy man, Harris Man,
he just seems like, you know, pretty tune. We're looking at him
as being a Candidmick. The allplayer game, I really like the growth
in it, you know, nextyear is going to be a breakout year
to him. So all in all, you know, I give him an
eighth blow and Malcolm Blank Tolipper andthat's the way he has. PN said

(11:13):
that Milwaukee was favored by about thisgame. Well, that's a lot of
people wrong, then, Sean, thank you for the phone call. As
always, you're listening to Clipperstock hereon the Patriot AM eleven fifty. Terrence

(11:33):
Man has been averaging fifteen points pergame now his last six games. But
he just does a little bit ofeverything and helps ignite this team. And
there was nobody else like that forthem before when Patrick Beverley was out,
which is why they had a losingrecord over the last three seasons without Pat
BEV. They found that guy.But it's not just him. Nicholas Buttou

(11:54):
making energy play. Is that chasedown block on Deevin Chenzho, the putback
dunk I but toomb after Kawai hadtwo of them. Unbelievable competitive game from
the Clippers for forty eight minutes,Okay, then maybe six minutes or three
minutes at the end of the firstquarter weren't pretty, So we'll say for

(12:16):
forty five minutes completely locked in effort. Terrence Man, grown man stuff.
More Clippers stock coming up next righthere on the Patriot AML fiftiest baked a
body like Boggle with them built baitlike the doc with the real to reaction

(12:39):
it out he clitter there he erasedit at the rim by never had a
chance. This is La Clippers basketballon the official home of your LA Clippers.
Now, not even a little bill. Oh lord know yourself, No
you weren't. Max's been a lotof them, my word, as I

(13:01):
was still so done. I hervedone too. We could do it on
exerve. Oh look, I'm arookie. In event shout you want to
talk about zero to one hundred. The Clippers outscore the Milwaukee Bucks by twenty
two points on the second half atStaples Center. They win by twenty four
with a final score of one twentynine to one oh five, and went

(13:24):
seventeen of twenty four from three afterthe first quarter where they started two of
ten. Welcome back into Clippers talk. I'm at a Moslin eight seven seven
five two zero eleven fifty eight sevenseven five two zero eleven fifty. Luke

(13:45):
Nard, who finished with a seasonhigh twenty one points but he had four
straight three pointers at one point inthe fourth quarter. He absolutely helped open
this win up, or open thisgame up for the Clippers to win comfortably
against one of the best teams inthe Eastern Conference, even with Jansadna Coopo

(14:07):
getting his with thirty two points. But overall, I guess it was a
tale of two halves for the MilwaukeeBucks. They started off real hot from
three. They started off seven ofeleven from distance, and they ended up
hitting just four of their next nineteenfrom three. Tonight they go eleven of

(14:33):
thirty overall. Clippers, though, seem to be turning the corner. And
I know some people are getting afterme or some haters out there, Lakers
fans, because I tweeted out Clippersthese Clippers are different. Well, they
do look different. They look moreconsistent. The effort and the competitiveness out

(14:54):
there has been much more consistent thanany Clippers team I've seen without Patrick Beverley
on the floor with them over thepast three years. And they look like
the type of team that is buildingthose championship habits because the effort at times
this season came and went, notsince the All Star break, where they've
been a top five defense all ofa sudden when they've done even a better

(15:16):
job of taking care of the basketballoutside. Tonight they did have fourteen turnovers,
but they were averaging just ten pergame, best in the league coming
out of the All Star Break. They've been getting to the basketball almost fifty
points in the paint tonight, holdingMilwaukee under forty. All those little things
that we thought could end up beingfatal flaws with this team, they're starting

(15:37):
to be remedied. Morris and longBeach, you're on Clippers stock with Adams
and what's up the Clippers rule?I told you, suh when the Clippers
won five? Did you see youdo show Clippers rule? And now you
do? Every night week got adifferent winner rule and every night a different
players got it go and Tlippers rule. Fun up Morrison long Beach with the

(16:07):
parody hits as always. I justlove that after every big winning and there
have been a lot of them recentlyduring the sixth game winning streak, but
Morrison long Beach comes up with somethingnew each and every time. I mentioned
Luke Kennard a little bit earlier. Here he was post game speaking with Christina
Pinka Fox Sports Prime Ticket book. You have a season high twenty one points

(16:30):
tonight, Paul George a late scratchfrom this game. You find out that
you're getting the starting nod tonight,How does that change your approach? Yeah,
I mean all year, it's it'sbeen, you know, next man
up. You know, we we'vebeen in situations like that before, and
you know, we we we're adifferent team when everybody's healthy. But but
when somebody's out, next next manup, next man mentality, and that's

(16:52):
that's what we've been trying to do. So credit to the guys for for
stepping up and playing hard tonight.Yeah, it was X shot up for
you time after time here in thisfourth quarter of this game, at one
point, you hit four consecutive threeSo as you're knocking down each one of
those shots, what is going throughyour mind in those moments? You know,

(17:14):
just just getting a good shot. You know, Coach, you know
t Lou he puts us in positionsto get a good shot every single time,
honestly he does. And obviously wehave some some of the best players
in the league on our team thatthat make the right reads, make the
right passes. So just for mestaying aggressive and you know, if I
get open those they want me toshoot. So just staying confident and staying
ready and being ready to shoot theball. Well, Luke, fifth team

(17:37):
collectively is really using confidence right now, you guys, when you're six to
one in a row, but againcoming against a contending team in the dominant
fashion, what are you learning aboutthis group right now? We want to
win, We want to compete. We want to win each and every night.
Every game is important for us fromhere on out. And I remember,

(17:57):
you know, we we went throughthat little that little rough patch a
few of you know, a fewgames back, and we were all right,
let's let's get on a roll.We got a little homestand going on.
So let's let's get a street gone. So credit to the guys for
locking in, staying focused, andit's taking a day by day getting better
and uh, you know, competehard. A great job tonight. Thank
you, Luke. All right, thank you. There was Luke Kenard post

(18:18):
game after the Clippers win by twentyfour over the Milwaukee Bucks. And it's
not just that they've won six ina row. They've been taking out teams
that were hot. Atlanta had woneighth straight. Clippers beat them, even
after being down twenty two. TheSixers, where I think nine and one

(18:40):
in their last ten games atop theEastern Conference, Clippers beat them. Saturday
night, the Clippers are down twelveagainst Milwaukee Bucks. Don't worry. They've
shown great resolve and an ability tofight back that we saw in twenty seventeen
and twenty eighteen and twenty eighteen twentynineteen. Last season, it felt like
the shoe was on the other footat times, with the Clippers getting a

(19:03):
taste of their own medicine with comingback on teams. Not this year,
especially since the All Star break. This is as good as the Clippers.
Clippers have looked all season long comingback. We'll have my friend Charles mack
lauron from Locked on Clips. That'snext. Oh but before we do that,

(19:26):
let's pause ten seconds for station identification. Here on the Patriot AMM fifty,
this is La Clippers Basketball AM elevenfifty KADIV, Los Angeles, an
iHeart radio station. I'm also lookingfor postgame audio from head coach lu After
the Clippers beat the Milwaukee Bucks bytwenty four. This is Clippers Suck.

(19:49):
Here on the Patriot AMALM fifty, this is the official home of your La
Clippers beats and soup Bots, deathdates on the Rim and the Home of
the Clippers. This album is dedicatedso all the teachers that told me I'll

(20:11):
buildings that I was hustling frond thecold, the police on me when I
was just trying to make some moneyto feed my daughter. Ye, it's
all my people's in the struggle, you know what I'm saying. Yeah,
we need that shake it shake. It was all a dream. Clippers win
one twenty nine to one zero fiveover the Milwaukee Bucks. Welcome back into
Clippers Talk. I'm at a Moslinshe listeners to the Patriot. Am eleven

(20:33):

eleven fifty is the phone number. We will get to your phone calls.
You can also get to me atfollow adam A. The Clippers have one
six straight now, but it's theway they're winning. Not all wins,
not all losses are created equal.Someone who has no equal when it comes

(20:53):
to covering the Clippers, it wouldbe Charles Mockler. He has to do
it for you every day with Lockeon Clips and he does a fantastic job
and I'm happy to have him onClippers Talk post game Here, Charles,
let's start with this. I've beenplaying salt and pepper. What a man,
What a man? What a man, What a mighty good man,
because Terrence Man has been all ofthat. But really, even post All

(21:18):
Star Break now he's taken his gameto another level. He just went for
a season high with twenty three theother night against Philly. Just fourteen points
tonight, but he's still averaging fifteenover his last six games. But it's
the six assist to zero turnovers. He's the playmaker out there. He's this
hub on offense, getting guys involvedwhile also finding creases in the defense and
getting easy baskets which have been soneeded by this team. But he's just

(21:41):
doing exactly what the Clippers ask ofhim and playing Mike. He's back at
Florida State all of a sudden.Maybe it's the tournament, but I think
this is going to expand past that. What do you think, Charles,
It's incredible there. We've kind ofrun out of things to say because he's
had so many finding performances over thelast just week and a half and since

(22:03):
the All Star break. I mean, the assist kind of came out of
nowhere. We knew he's a greatflash and a great finisher, and he
had some absurd finishes tonight against theBucks, who are a gigantic team.
But like you said, those sixassists to know turnovers, he found Nick
Batoum with a couple of passes justfrom underneath the basket that kind of look
wild. But now that I've seenit happen so many times, I'm perfectly

(22:23):
okay with any pass he's gonna throw. No no, no, no,
yes, yes, yes, yes, yes yeah. That underhand shot in
the second quarter by Terrence Man thelittle like oh to George Gervin, it
was amazing. And we're seeing newstuff from him each and every game because
he's such a well rounded player. You don't know what he's going to supply,

(22:45):
but you know he's going to bea positive out there. Before,
even when he wasn't scoring, hewas still providing energy, hustle plays,
guarding the best player at times onthe other team. He's just done so
much and has such a well roundedgame. There's just many a multitude of
ways that Terrence Man can help thisteam right now and has been doing that.
Somebody else who I think a lotof people own apology to Reggie Jackson

(23:10):
has been so good. I'm nottalking about you, Charles, I know
you were on board, but ReggieJackson last season, with the way things
ended for the Clippers, a lotof people said they didn't want him back.
Now it looks like the veterans minimumdeal that he's on is the steal
of the off season. Along withNicholas Batum and Reggie Jackson had fifteen points
alone in the third quarter tonight finishedwith twenty. But he also has supplied

(23:33):
that downhill play that has been sodesperately needed from this Clippers team. Well,
it's funny. With Pat Bed's availability, Reggie is effectively our starter for
this season up to this point, and he's helped the second best half court
offense in the league, next toonly that team over there in Brooklyn.
And he's it's like you said,I mean, between him and Batum,

(23:56):
we have two of the most valuableveteran contracts maybe ever for a team.
And catch and shoot Reggie's the best. Reggie and he's also cut down on
the turnovers. He had three tonight, but I mean, he just did
every He's doing everything the Clippers needhim to do, and hopefully he comes
back next season. But with theway that all these guards are playing while
we're still down Rondo and Bed,we might not have room for him,

(24:18):
which is a problem for the laterClippers fans. Thankfully, right now,
we just have to be happy Reggieis doing exactly what he should be.
Charles Mockler is my guests from Lockedon Clippers. You're listening to Clippers talk
after they win by twenty four witha final score one twenty nine to one
h five over the Milwaukee Bucks. To that point, though, and it
is a good problem to have. And if anyone can press the right buttons

(24:41):
at the right time, it's beencoach Lou. And it's also a credit
to these guys for staying ready andstaying prepared and being professionals, and you
know, stay ready so you don'thave to get ready. But down the
line, when Sean Rondo and PatrickBeverley are back, what happens with this
hard rotation? How do you seeit's shaking out because there is a log

(25:02):
jam. I think we're gonna seeBev starting again just to get that continuity
back, because that's the biggest battleright now. If you know, I
Reggie Jackson's playing great, but weknow what Pat Bev brings on the defensive
end, and ideally he's ready tostart in the playoffs. When it comes
to total minutes, though, Ithink Tyler is going to switch it up
based on matchups. I think wewere all kind of surprised to Luke Canards

(25:23):
start in place of Paul George. It's kind of been what he's done.
But you know, Luke Canar willhave a great game and then get a
DNP. So I think Tyler isreally just going based on best matchup and
with Bev still from me cemented asa starter. But yeah, those total
minutes are gonna be interesting to seehow they split up. Clippers win once
twenty nine to one oh five overthe Milwaukee Bucks. Something else I've noticed

(25:47):
as this team ramps up, andthis was something Blurrence Frank talked about.
We don't want to be a flipthe switch team. We want to ramp
up as we get closer to theplayoffs, and we're starting to see that
now, especially defensively for them, because they haven't had I mean tonight they
did nineteen to thirty four from three. They haven't always though, had great
shooting performances from the outside recently, and they've had to find other ways to

(26:10):
win. But I really feel like, and even though Paul George wasn't there
tonight, he and Kawhi Leonard havehave to be credited for the way that
they've stayed attacking the basket, regardlessif they're getting calls or not. And
it's starting to pay off a littlebit. The Clippers did just take ten
free throws tonight, but they hadtwenty seven the other night. But they

(26:30):
are getting into the paint at willnow and that's something that has to be
there come playoff time. And Ido think there's a trickle down effect with
the rest of the team when theysee they're two superstars, two of the
best two way players we've seen overthe last ten years. Live up to
that super stardom and that dual threatrole they both have, but also just

(26:51):
playing with that aggressiveness out there onehundred percent. And so your point about
the aggressiveness Kawhi Leonard has done moretime since the Altar they came back.
Then it feels like the last yearand a half almost right right, He
had no I think yet he hadzero putback in dunks all season. He
had two tonight against the Buck. He's ramping up to this level of energy

(27:11):
that really, I mean, shouldtear Arrest of the league a lot more.
It feels like because he's looking,he knows exactly what fought he wants
to get to, and he's gettingthere and athletically he's hitting another stride as
well. Yeah, he had twoputback dunks earlier in the season, and
I think we just saw a coupleof these the other night from PG thirteen.
But he's caught alley oofs, thelaw passes. I can't remember one

(27:33):
from last season. Kawhi Leonard hasthat balance, has that juice, and
maybe part of his the depth onthis team, but I think he knows,
he's sensing that there's something special goingon here, even though every post
game he says, onto the nextone, we just got to stay locked
in. We're not there yet,But that's what you want to see from
your leader. He's demanding the mostout of this team, and with the

(27:56):
way things ended last season, youhave to have that attitude. They have
to keep striving for greatness and perfectionat times. And we've also seen that
with t Lou. And that's mynext question here, because he's had that
sense of urgency often even when they'reup big. The other night they were
up twenty, it came down tofifteen points, he calls the time out
right away. I just love theway he manages the game and how he

(28:19):
uses his timeouts at certain times, along with the way he puts in different
guys and rides the hot hand.Yeah, I mean your point about the
timeouts. Last year, I feltlike we'd just watch a team go on
a run and then a foul wouldbreak it up and we would all be
wondering where the hell of the timeoutwas and Tylu called that time out.
And I think what's more exciting ishe's doing this with I mean, he

(28:41):
did this tonight with a skeleton crewright like, we were down three starters
in this one and we steamrolled theBucks. So all credit in the world
to Tylou. And we haven't evenseen the team at in terms of full
offensive sets. He's mentioned that acouple of times in press conferences that were
still at like, you know, seven percent of what we're going to see
in terms of the full playbook, and we're getting back, Bev. We're

(29:04):
getting back, you know, theIQ of Rondo. I don't know.
I might be very excited after thiswin in particular, but it feels like
the sky's eleve right now. Forthe Clips. He is Charles Mockler.
You know him from Locked on Clippers. Follow him at Charles m os c
K l e R. Charles,thanks so much for coming on Clippers Stalk
tonight. Man. I really appreciateit. Thank you. Thanks having me

(29:27):
on after a big win, Clipperswin. Maybe there was a connection there.
Clippers win one's twenty nine to oneoh five over the Milwaukee Bucks.
They make it sixth straight coming back. Speaking of the head coach, Tlu,
I'm looking for some post game audiofrom him and we'll get back to
your phone calls at eight seven sevenfive two zero eleven fifty eight seven seven

season long. No, Paul GeorgeTonight, no Patrick Beverley, no Serge

(30:14):
Ibaka, no Rondo yet, butthe Clippers have yet to lose in their
last six games. They've won thelast six. They win tonight one twenty
nine to one oh five at StaplesCenter over the Milwaukee Bucks, of course,
of two and Ozero so far inthis nine game homestand which is critical.

(30:34):
We've talked about it a lot andjust how it could change the outcome
of this team season because they haveso much more practice time right now.
And I'm looking for TLU audio. We'll have postgame audio from the head coach
Ron lou after another massive victory byyour Los Angeles Clippers where they put away

(30:56):
Milwaukee Bucks with I want to say, nine three pointers in that fourth quarter,
and Luke Kennard had four of themafter starting two of ten. We've
said all season, you know, sometimes this team gets off to slow starts,
but it doesn't matter. They canget incendiary. They can catch fire
in a quarter from distance. They'relooking to be the second best three point

(31:19):
shooting team of all time while takinga lot more than the ninety six ninety
seven Charlotte Hornets did. But Ijust like the fact that once again missing
guys and missing critical key players outthere, and yet this Clippers team was
able to overcome it. They wereunder manned, but they have Terrence Mann

(31:45):
and he's playing like I think itwas Sean and Inglewood earlier. But talking
about him being an All Star inthe future if he continues to progress like
this, if he can do allthese little things plus score. He means
so much to the team right nowwithout Patrick Beverley. But it's just good
to see them win against quality competitionas there are. I want to say

(32:07):
about twenty six games left in theregular season now, and remember, it
looked like they had turned the cornerright before the hiatus last year because they
had smoked some teams, the DenverNuggets being won, the Rockets being another.
They were playing great basketball, andthen, as everyone else had to

(32:30):
do, they had to stop andwait four months. And there were guys
in and out of the bubble thatwere part of their eight man rotation,
guys that were very important, andunfortunately, for different reasons here and there,
they just couldn't get that chemistry back, that continuity back. Now it
looks like they're deeper than last season, which is crazy to say. And

(32:54):
something I didn't expect to say cominginto this season necessarily, but they also
have, you know, the Cavalryon the way with Patrick Beverley coming back,
with ra Gen Ronald coming back atsome point with Serge Ibaka, and
that can give them another shot inthe arm to extend out this winning streak.

(33:15):
That second engine on the rocket thatignites. That's what we're hoping happens
with this team now so they cankeep this going. Because after going over
a month without winning two games ina row, they just made it six
straight, winning one twenty nine toone oh five over the Milwaukee Bucks.

(33:37):
Still looking for that postgame audio fromcoach tlu here, but I just love
the way they're playing with consistent effort. You can live with the results when
you play hard on both ends, when you compete on both ends. And
something needed to change there because theydidn't have that mindset, no matter how

(33:59):
many times they had to learn thatlesson and they'd bounce back after bad losses
or blown lead against the Golden StateWarriors. It really came down to that
third quarter against the Atlanta Hawks wherethey get down by twenty two points and
midway through the quarter, t Loupulls the starters. That could be the

(34:20):
turning point for this season, themoment we identify and say this is when
the Clippers started to build that neversay die mentality and where they start to
consistently put it together with their effortdefensively, it just hadn't been there.
They weren't playing up to the talentlevel that we see on this team.

(34:45):
The roster was much better than theyhad shown defensively. And it was curious
because they could lock in for aquarter here, a couple of minutes there,
but they weren't good enough for fortyeight minutes. And then this league
league with teams and the three pointsshooting that's out there. You don't lock
in for a couple of minutes, right, you can get down ten in

(35:07):
a hurry. All right, wegot it. Here's coach t Lou post
game after the Clippers make it sixthstraight and they win by twenty four over
the Milwaukee Bucks. Here was coachHeron Lou speaking with the media. And
that's how I carry you over, you know, offensively, just be able

(35:28):
to play after the play if we'vewe've been working on for the last three
months, and like you can justfinally see us starting to come together.
And like I said, we hada lot of lineups on the floor that
you're probably never see again. Wejust kind of had to just keep pushing
buttons, but just teaching those guyshow to play after the play. Help
us out tonight as far as justplaying the game and then making driving kick
making place for yourself for your teammates. Thanks for to come already, that

(35:54):
was going on, Coach, Isee guys can be here, But would
you say that's a civil line ofthe guys to the fact that you get
that specially different lineups? Say itagain. I'm sorry, I couldn't hear
you. I said, would yousay that's a civil lineing with guys?
Man? No experience, experiment withdifferent lineups, I mean, not something,

(36:15):
not something the line ups we hadin tonight, I wouldn't you know,
I wouldn't say that. But youknow, we were trying to match
Zeus's minutes with Yanni's as much aspossible, and they kept getting me in
and out, so it kind ofmade our lineups tricky as well. But
you know, I just like Isaid, I thought Zoo did a fantastic
job on him. He came outand made two threes early on and I
want to pull up, but youknow, we was giving that shot up.
And outside of that, I thoughtZoe's physicality and be able to play

(36:37):
him at the rim was was veryhuge for us. And like I said,
a lot of guys stepped up andit's just just a total team win.
That's what andrew it. You guyshad that seven game win streak earlier
this year, but that streak wasusually guys are pretty healthy during that run.
You've done this, obviously, meseek surge obviously even seems had tonight

(37:00):
is about as good as you've seenthe teams play all year. Yeah,
we've been playing well. I thinkeverything we've been working on and frustrated about
early on in the season, youcan finally see it coming together. Small,
small pick and rolls, I think, attacking the paint, you know,
making an extra pass, you knowto your teammate when they're open,
playing with more pace, you know, defensively, having a defensive mindset every

(37:21):
single night. And you can seeall them things coming together right now.
There was head coach Chilu post gameafter the Clippers win one twenty nine to
one oh five over the Milwaukee Bucks. Their next game is back at Staples
Center tomorrow night. They're taking onthe Orlando Magic. Captain check on dot
roster. Let's see who some ofthese guys are. But that can be

(37:45):
a dangerous team. They gave areally good effort the other night against Los
Angeles Lakers. Because a lot ofguys are getting more run now and they
want to show off with their headcoach. You can't take them lightly.
You can't have a letdown, notnow. They won sixth straight. Let's
see if they can keep this goingbefore we get out of here. I
do want to thank the Clippers organization, Noah Eagle, Brian Seaman, Ralph

(38:08):
Lawler, big brother, Jake Warner, who is back big? I love
you, Jake, Glad You're goodback here in Burbank, Zacho quality for
helping me out. Get the tlou sound until tomorrow night's starting at six.
