Welcome to Community Viewpoints. Is Shawneefeeling blessed and highly favored on this Sunday
morning, And in Community Viewpoints weempower our community. We also provide some
guidance and some events that will helpparents children our community. So today I
have the privilege of speaking to RhodshaButler. She's here to talk to us
about the Leroy Butler Leap. It'sa football and cheer camp. Rhodisha,

(00:26):
how are you today? I amso wonderful and thank you so much for
having me. Well, you knowyou are a pillar of strength in the
community. Are the last time Iseeing you, you were handling the mic
at the Florida Black Expo. SoI said, you know, I gotta
get her in here. I gottatalk to her about what she's been doing
with these children. First, Iwant the community to understand who we're talking
to. So if you would justprovide something about you, Rhodisha and what

(00:51):
you stand for. Oh, thankyou so much. Well. I have
been raised right here and educated righthere in our Duba County school system,
and I'm just excited to be ableto do whatever it takes for children,
parents, families in our community. So over the years I've been afforded and
blessed with the opportunity to work hardon my own, go through school,

(01:12):
go off to Florida State, comeback, and in coming back, I
just saw the need. I wasasked after mister Butler retired to jump into
the school system if I would, and kind of kicking and screaming, I
was like, no, no,no. But after going over to Rebolt
High School, I mean I havea turn back. So starting out after
high school, right after at FloridaState, I started my own performing arts

(01:34):
studio and we are thirty two yearsin, but I tell people I'm thirty,
so we won't talk about that.Right with thirty two years in,
and I'm so excited to have beenable to serve students and families in the
performing arts. But inside of that, I'm so proud of having eighteen years
in our Duval County public school systemeducating and working with families, and was

(01:56):
able to get to a principal levelthis year working with the charter school.
And then the last thing is justbeing a part of our boards. Like
you said the Black Expo, I'ma part of the United Niggro College Fund
Board and Education and the Black Expoallow me to play in both areas where
I can help and continue to bea change agent. And so yes,

(02:17):
the camp we'll talk about today eventuallyis yet just an extension, a branch
of what the Lira Butler Foundation usedto do here and we want to continue
those efforts as well anything we cando to serve children and their families community.
If you're just tuning in Shawnee speakingto Rhodesha Butler, she's here to
talk to us about the football andchair camp and how your child can get

(02:38):
involved, because we know summer iscoming in. We want those kids to
get out the house and be busy. So Rhodsha, if you would tell
us about the football and cheer camp, can they register and where can they
register for this phenomenal camp. They'reso excited. Again, Blast, we
have a partnership with the PAL thePolice Athletic League, and so this is
the second year. We're so lessthat mister Butler did have. After twenty

(03:01):
years of working real hard, hefinally made it into the Hall of Fame
and so with that he came rightback last year. I wanted to do
a camp so parents can go toJack's Palsports Dot org. That's Jacks pilesports
dot org and actually sign up theages or seven to seventeen. And yes,
it's for those growing training athletes allthe way up to those high school

(03:25):
kids who have already begin playing, just to have a very upscale type of
training presented to them, a littlebit of stem information for the academic piece.
And it's both for football players andcheerleaders seven to seventeen. And it's
going to be Saturday, May twentieth, twenty twenty three at the pal location

(03:46):
on Monument thirty four fifty Monument Roads. So we're really excited to partner with
them and to be able to helpnot only with the camp and the children,
but to help further their program initiativesalong the way for the rest of
the year. Rhodesha Butler community talkingto us about her joy and what she's
done with the community. So,Rhodesha, if you would tell me what

(04:08):
does all of this mean to you? I mean, you've grown, We've
seen you in the community, You'veempowered young ladies with dance. What does
this mean to you? Growing upmyself and being the youngest of five,
I watched my parents. They wereolder parents, so they kept us involved.
They kept us in activities. Imean we had to play instruments.
My dad would whip out, youknow, the stand and actually train us

(04:30):
because we come from an art family. However, I know from myself being
a product and having to work throughcollege myself, that activities and allowing students
to find a place to grow andbe excited about things that they accomplish.
We know that academics is an expectationin most households, and even if it's
not as large in a household, that's what educators are for. That's what

(04:53):
we're for. Teachers and and allthe people, all the stakeholders that work
in a building, you know, love and push kids. But I do
belie that activities outside helped to moldwho that young lady or that young man
is becoming. And so that's whythe arts and the sports and community involvement
leadership programs for young people are justso essential to where they're going. I

(05:15):
mean, if you want to bea part of Leroy Butler and Jack's Pal,
they're presenting the Leroy Butler Leap Footballand Chair Camp and again, as
Rhodesia has stated, it will beon May twentieth. Now Rhodesha. I
know that you said that you haveyour own dance Do you still have your
own dance studio? Yes, ma'am. We have rebranded for the years and

(05:36):
I know many many years, andI have so many supportive parents. We
were on the second generations dancers. Now some of the dancers that grew up
it was Attitudes Performing Arts. Iwas in Gateway Shopping Center for fifteen years
and kind of moved around. Butin the recent years, now my daughters
are grown. They're all professional dancersand instructors. We have changed it to
simply Row Performance Academy and we areoperating right now and this is our thirty

(06:00):
second year and so I'm looking toexpand and do some programs, work with
the city to do some things inthis new season. So there'll be more
to come on that. But yes, this is year thirty two, and
so I am just really excited andcontinuing that work as well, along with
a few other things that I havecoming for women as well. What do
you have coming for women? Sinceyou are powering a community that's growing into

(06:25):
masterminds and young women and men, what do you have coming for us in
the future. I think, Shannie, you know, we always say it
takes a village to raise a family, and that's we focus on the kids,
but so many different people, especiallywomen like ourselves, need that continuous
empowerment. So this will be mythird year during my Power conference, but
this year is Shannie, which isthe first time anyone has heard about it.

(06:46):
I'm working towards preparing for our powerconference on a cruise and we'll be
leaving from Jacksonville. I'm looking atJanuary, and so outside of it just
being on a cruise, I thinkthat out of times, as women,
we're afraid to talk about certain thingsor you know, we've been through some
things that are dramatic, and ithelps when women can hear from other women

(07:10):
who've made it to the other sideor or who have overcome those obstacles.
And I always lead with struggles makeyou stronger. And so we're expected as
African American women specifically to be ableto just you know, keep it moving
no matter what we wear. Somany hats, we wear, so many
hats, and I want to beable to continue to empower, continue to
be transparent and share my stories thathaven't been told yet so that I can

(07:31):
help with some sister colleagues like yourselfto really help women to grow and become
no matter what age they are,no matter what age and stage they're in,
to just become their better selves. In twenty twenty three and twenty twenty
four, spoken like a true trailblazerRoodsha Butler Community on Community Viewpoints Today empowering
us with the Leroy Butler and Jack'spal Leap Football and Chair camp along with

(07:57):
Leroy Butler presenting this with the power, will there be any other guests Jack's
Pole pull it together with us?Last year we had two weeks to do
it. Mister Butler did get intothe Hall of Fame and we turned it
right around and so they were ablessing. However, we have an organization
coach Rodney Blunt. He's with cityStreets to student athletes and Shanne. He's
doing some amazing things with high schoolboys. Him and Leroy had a little

(08:20):
rivalry with the Climps in Florida Statething last year. But he brought in
a lot of different players. Sowe will have a surprise NFL players,
but some we've got so many Jacksonvillegreats and so many of those gentlemen will
be coming back again this year aswell as some new names. We're working
with some people like Lavernius KOLs andRashid Mathis and just trying to get those

(08:45):
guys and also some of our localgrades, these coaches around here, just
because they didn't get it to theNFL. We have some amazing coaches right
here working with our children's day andday out, and a lot of them
will be there as well. Igotta thank you for empower the minds that
be the young adults. So thankyou so much for being a part of

(09:05):
the show today. I really appreciatejust coming together as sister friends so that
we can empower each other and thesisters in our community as well as the
young adults and parents out there. And thank you. Let me thank you
for inviting me, because I'm humbled, I'm honored, and I don't take
it for granted because your work isfilled and I know we have our church

(09:26):
homes and our spaces that we're inand it takes people like yourself to reach
out and help us like you said, so I'm greatly appreciative and whatever you
would have me to do going forward, however, we can collaborate to do
more things right here. And I'llbe ready and willing to do whatever you
need. Well, I'm also readyto see you at the Martin Luther King
Parade because you always have a groupof dancers and people representing, so you

(09:52):
empower people. You are greatness aswell. You need to know that.
Okay, thank you so much,Thank you, welcome back to community.
To you. Points is Shawnee feelingblessed and highly favored on this Sunday morning,
and we are empowering the community thismorning. We have two amazing individuals
who want to empower you and inviteyou to a wonderful event today. I

(10:16):
have Carl Greene and Angela Harris onthe line. Carl, how are you
doing this morning? Fine? Howare you? You know, mister carl
Is, it's a pleasure to speakwith you. Angela Harris, how are
you doing as well? I'm well, Thanks for asking. Hope you are
well too. Great Now, tellus about the Kenneth A. Harris Memorial

(10:39):
Foundation, Angela, tell us aboutyour why and why you are here to
talk to us today. Thank youso much. Great question. I'm excited
to share any information that I canabout the Kennethay Harris Memorial Foundation. The
Foundation was started in memory of myHusbin, who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer

(11:03):
in twenty eighteen. Unfortunately, bythe time that he was diagnosed, the
cancer had progressed to stage four, and through the seventeen months that he was
able to be with us, Ilearned that pancreatic cancer moves very aggressively and
there are very few trials or teststhat will recognize it sooner. So normally

(11:30):
when people have it, it isalready stage four by the time they're docugnosed.
So we really wanted to not onlyhonor Ken, but also bring to
the forefront information about pancreatic cancer andhelped to raise funds that go towards the
development of research to help further pancreaticcancer research community. We have Angela Harris

(11:56):
here with us talking about the KennethA. Harris Memorial Foundation, but we
have mister Kenneth Harris's best friend onthe line as well, and understanding friendship
goes a long way. So misterCarl, if you would talk to us
about your why and why you've partneredwith the Kenneth A. Harris Memorial Foundation.
Kenny and I were best friends. We actually say we were brothers from

(12:22):
another mother. We met at workat Johnson Johnson Vision Care and formed the
bond over sports. First it wasbasketball and then it was golf. I'm
a kid in the cancer survivor myself, so finding out that he had pancreated
cancer was kind of a blow, but he was very positive through the whole

(12:43):
ideal and he was such a personthat was charitable. As Andrew said in
his memory, not only did wewant to do something to heal cancer research,
but we also wanted to do somethingto give back to the community,
such as the scholarships that we wantto give to the high school students.
And we thank our community and AngelaHarrison are Carl Green for always thinking about

(13:09):
how they can empower the community. So, community, if you're just tuning
in Shawnee speaking to Angela Harris, the wife of the late Kenneth A.
Harrison Memorial Foundation and the best friendCarl Green that you met while you were
golfing, and I understand you're havinga golf tournament in memory, So tell

(13:30):
the community how they can get involvedin the golf tournament happening on May six.
You can go to the website. It's pretty easy, and then k
a H. Kenneth A Harris dotorg. And there you can donate.
If you're not a golfer, Andwhen I say donate, you can give

(13:54):
actual money. Or if you owna business and you want to donate some
golf equipment, golf balls, asponsor, something like that, you can
do that as well. So thetournament is going to be made a six
at Eagle Landing Golf Course, wonderfulgolf course. It's a shotgun start.
It's going to start at eight thirtyam. It's a fourth person scramble.

(14:16):
And if you can't feel the teamof four and you're a single or just
a twosome, if you show up, we'll pare you up with another two
golfers of three golfers at the golfcourse today. So don't let that stop
you from participating. Well, thankyou so much for thinking and doing this.
I know, I know there's alot of community members out there that

(14:37):
would love to get involved. I'mlooking at the website right now and I
see a lot of pictures and Isee that you can also sponsor certain areas.
Are you looking for sponsors to helpwith the second annual golf tournament?
Yes, again, you can sponsora hole and again, as you go
on the website, it'll show youall of the sponsorship levels. And again,

(15:01):
if you have any questions, youcan call me my numbers nine or
four nine, five, four, three one four, Because we really want
to have a good turnout this yearas we did last year, and we
want to just continue to grow thefoundation so we can continue to do great
things for the community, remembering thelife and legacy of a special man,

(15:22):
Kenneth A. Harris. Community, get involved, be involved, and just
understand that there are a lot ofnonprofits that are doing their major events and
they would love to have you. They would love to share the story of
their why so May six they're havingtheir great, big event making a difference
in the community. Be sure toget involved. Mister Carl, is there

(15:45):
anything else that you like to sharewith the community about the Kenneth A.
Harris Memorial Foundation. Thank you showingit for giving us the opportunity and for
your viewerships for supporting from the Thinktomin advance. Thank you, mister Carl.
We understand friendship goes a long way, and I know that your friend

(16:06):
mister Ken is looking down saying hey, I knew he would remember me.
I knew he would do this,so thank you for being that friend,
and of course thank you Angela Harris. We know that this is something that
is not easy, but this foundationwill definitely keep you linked to the community
and to your husband. So weare here to help. As iHeart,

(16:27):
We're here to remember people and placesand of course empower our community so that
they can be aware of these amazingevents. So make a difference today.
Get involved with the Kenneth Hey HarrisMemorial Foundation. You could donate, you
can join them with their golf event, but check out the website. A

(16:48):
lot of amazing information out there community. Angela, would you like to share
something as we close, Yes,absolutely want to thank everyone for anything that
they can donate, for any participationthat they may have. We are excited
to partner with M B Anderson. That is where our donation will be going

(17:10):
this year. If anyone is outthere that needs more information about pancatic cancer,
we can definitely provide that for you. Thank you so much for having
us today. I really really appreciateit, and on behalf of our board
of directors, we would like tothank you in advance for all of your
support. Well, thank you forbeing a Shira, miss Angela, and

(17:32):
we understand that the road isn't easy, but you have a community behind you.
So be blessed because you are ablessing. And thank you, mister
Carl for your due diligence. Iappreciate it and I am so honored to
speak with both of you as well. You show thank you. You are
welcome, mister Carl and Angela.Today I have the phenomenal, the amazing,

(17:53):
the incomparable Nikki Sparrow Morland. Sheis here to talk to us about
a few things, but first Iwanted to just share her with you again,
community, because Nikki has taken onsome additional duties, some duties that
involve the African American community. Sowelcome back to community viewpoints. Nikki.
How are you today? I amdoing great, Seanny, thank you so

(18:15):
much for having me. And youknow, anytime I'm in your presence,
it's a blessing. It's always goodto speak to the women, the sisters
who are trailblazers, who are makingmarks, who are understanding the need and
then applying the pressure. So,Nikki, I know that you were with
us here at iHeart Media, butyou've made some changes. Talk to us

(18:36):
about that. Yeah, So I'mstill with you, just with you in
a different capacity. So I nowwork on the executive level and I'm the
singing vice person in multicultural sales servicingall of ihearts. So now instead of
one market, I could get toservice all of the markets, all eight
hundred and fifty of our radio stations, podcasts, events and everything that's targeting

(18:56):
our multicultural audience, which income thisis African Americans, Hispanics, women,
you know, the Pride community. When you say multicultural, that is absolutely
different segments that we're actually targeting.Well, you know, I think that's
what is needed. I think it'sa melting pot out there and everybody is
in it. I think multicultural.I grew up in that growing up in

(19:18):
Canada, that was a word thatwas used because there were so many different
people you had to find a commonality, right, So I know that music
and news is a commonality and thatyou are just a trailblazer just trying to
make sure that we are heard.Talk to us about your reasons why you
are really into the community and intohelping a multicultural platform. Seanny, no

(19:41):
matter what I do, I cannotget away from the fact that I am
a African American female in different faces. When you're talking about multicultural. Sometimes
I've definitely been in ruins where I'mthe only female. Sometimes I've been in
the room where I'm the only AfricanAmericans, and sometimes it's been a combination
of two. And so I knowthat's in four for everybody to be seen
and heard and felt like they havea place at the table. And even

(20:04):
though the title is multi cultural andpeople call it multicultural, what I really
like to call it intentional rather thanintentionally marketing, rather than intentionally talking to
someone, rather than intentionally including someone. Whatever you are being intentional about,
that's what I really like to focuson. And when you're talking about inclusiveness
or you're talking about diversity, ifyou're talking about, you know, advertising

(20:27):
multicultural, you have to be intentionalabout that. Who you're talking to community.
If you're just tuning in Shawnee speakingto Nicki Morland Sparrow, she is
here to talk to us about WomenHistory Month, being a trailblazer, not
finding a robbery to embrace the community. So, Nikki, my next question
to you, as I understand thatthis is one of the fastest because I

(20:48):
know as women, we're moms, right, we are daughters, we're wives,
and we have a job. Howdo you juggle this? How do
you madness? As I started outwith a giggle, this is something that
we talk about all the time. And I promise, I don't mean to
be redundant, but you have tobe intentional. You're going to hear that

(21:10):
word intentional because like now, absolutelyI am married to the amazing doctor Charles
Morland. But before, you know, being a single parent, I had
to be intentional about, you know, making sure that I was showing up
for my kids, making sure thatI was showing up for the important things
because I couldn't make everything, butI tried my best to make sure that

(21:30):
I made all of the big stuff, you know, making sure that they
saw my presence. But at theend of the day, and SHARNI you
know me, we've worked together like, I am never late like so that
means, you know, seeing prepared. I couldn't just wing it or when
you are wearing multiple hats. Preparationvery important. So I prepared myself.
Even now that we are empty nestersand everything else, I still prepare myself

(21:52):
at night to make sure I knoweverything I have going on for the next
day and sometimes that week, andI still miss the mark. Sometimes it's
not perfect, because when you're tryingto be everything to everybody, it is
very hard. But I will tellyou the most important person out of all
of that is you, because ifyou're not taking care of yourself, you
can't be there for everybody else. And that's something that I've learned, you
know, as I've gotten older,is that you know you have to take

(22:15):
care of yourself and make sure thatyou are poign into yourself because you can't
pour from an empty cup. Nikki, I understand that as women, we
tend to want to fix and wetend to want to always be there for
everyone. But thank you for sharingthat, because sometimes we forget about us
because we're trying to just take careof everybody else. But we as women

(22:37):
need to take care of ourselves sothat we can take care of our family,
our mate and our community. SoI know that with the changes,
you are still in the community doinga lot of things. And one of
the things that I noticed that you'vedone in the past is take up the
art of golf. Yeah, soget out of necessity. I've learned I'm

(22:57):
not you know how some people arethat's with golf. I'm not obsessed with
it. But I learned how toplay golf because one of my mentors,
Willie Gregory, who wipes the worksat Nike, had told me. He
was like, Nicky, you arein corporate America. Now. What you
don't know is there's a lot ofbusiness that happens, you know, as
people are playing golf on a golfcourse and you can't just go to the

(23:18):
spa. And I'm like, Idon't want to play golf. And then
he said, well, how oftendo you get back when everybody's gone out
playing golf and you're the only onethat didn't go that you feel like you're
playing catch up on those conversations. And so I absolutely learned out of necessity.
The reason why I fell in lovewith it when this is particularly the
first tweaks is I was invited toan event and it was actually career day

(23:40):
and I got to speak to someyoung ladies. Shawnee, you know me,
like, my heart goes to kids. That's why I'm on the board
of First See. That's why I'mon the board of Saint Jude. If
it has something to do with kids. You can absolutely count me in and
you know what you do phenomenal.I work with Saint Jude. Let's talk
about the Taste of Golf. Soyou are talking about a culinary masterpiece.

(24:00):
This year, we're experiencing the samething. It's going to be at TPC.
Saw Grass is absolutely gorgeous out thereis actually where the players is and
we invite the top chefs from thetop golf courses and they all compete and
they compete at our benefits, sowe get to taste the culinary masterpiece of

(24:22):
all of these amazing chefs. Andthen it's open bar and all these amazing
auction items and everything else. Andthe best thing it is for the kids.
And it's for the first Tea ofNorth Florida. But all the money
stays right here in our neighborhoods andit's for kids all over. We have
facilities on the North Side, WestSide, like we service all of North

(24:45):
Florida. We want to make sureall of our kids are taken care of
and exposed to the game of golfand Nikki. When will the eighteenth Annual
Taste of Golf happen? What isthe date on that April the twenty six
it's from six thirty to nine thirty. Is limit to tickets because again it's
at TPC and you can go onand buy your tickets right now at Taste

(25:06):
of goolf dot com. I assureyou you will not be disappointed. It
is a culinary masterpiece and a lotof fun, open bar, the best
of food, food that you wouldnever get in the same room at one
time, and you just go fromstation to station tasting all of these masterpiece
and everything that is raised that night. The night of Tas of Golf goes

(25:27):
to our kids in our neighborhood.I mean, if you're just tuning in
Shawnee speaking to Nikki Baryl Morland, she is here to talk to us about
women history, about being trailblazer, about being women of strength. She's also
here to invite us to an eventthat is exceptional. And she forgot to
mention that she will be the onehosting this event. So as you know

(25:49):
in media, we as women,we wear a lot of hats. She
is one of the many women incharge of the Black Information Network, and
she also finds time to give backto the community and she finds time to
host so on the night of Tasteof Golf, you will see Nikky Sparrow

(26:10):
Moreland in all her glory as wellas understand that this event is giving back
to our children, our neighborhood, our community. So Nikki again, if
you would provide the community contact informationhow they can purchase a ticket and if
they cannot come to this phenomenal event, how can they donate. Absolutely they
can go go on to Taste ofGolf dot com. If you cannot make

(26:33):
the event, and I hope youcan because I assure you it is an
event that you do not want toforget and even if you're not into golf.
And that's one of the things thatwe make sure that the auction items
that we have they are trips onguitars. We want to make sure it's
names that you just can't get ata traditional auction. We are one of
our board members, amazing board members. She actually donates her Chicago Cubs tickets

(26:56):
and we have all this whole packagethat is wrapped around Chicago. We have
like yachts, and we have paintings, we have like we do have golf
items just so if anybody's into golf. We absolutely have some special signature of
golf items, you know, forthe players, they have the limited addition
gold stuff, so we have someof that. Oh, we have diamonds

(27:17):
that I said we have diamonds, because we have diamonds for the ladies.
We have these amazing trips and allof these are the auction items that you
can go onto Tastes of golf dotcom and you could bid on rather you're
there, not but if you areat the event, you will absolutely will
not be disappointed in the culinary masterpiece, honest again, and not because I'm

(27:38):
the chair and I've been chairing thisfor six shares now, but not because
I'm the chair. But when you'retalking about culinary, I don't know any
other event that's like this. Whenyou have the top chef in our areas
at these private golf clubs that's actuallycompeting and you just get to see their
artistry and visibly and you get totaste. So it is absolutely amazing.

(28:02):
Our main sponsor, Computer Center, has been amazing and they said as they
will keep sponsoring it as long asI'm the chair person. So I'm on
the hook as long as they're onthe hook. I love it. Community.
If you're just tuning in Nikki SparrowMorland. She is here to share
her goodness and why she keeps going, why she is a fierce female in

(28:22):
our community. She is for thecommunity, for our children, and for
women. I have to tell you, Nikki, I want to give you
your flowers today like I've been givingall the ladies their flowers every Sunday this
month. Thank you for being afriend. Thank you for always sharing nuggets
to help the ladies in the building, and thank you for always having a

(28:45):
positive word. And thank you alsofor tapping us if we needed that tap,
if we needed someone to straighten us. I want to thank you for
being a woman of strength, awoman that has helped me, and I'm
sure you've helped a lot of ladiesout there. So thank you for being
who you are and thank you forbeing a great woman. Sean personal,

(29:07):
if you've blessed me speech with whichis very hard to do, I appreciate
that you know. One thing aboutme is very deliberate in how I leave
people. I want to make surethat I'm happy on purpose, like this
is not fake. I'm very intentionalabout my energy and my space and everything
out It's important to me that I'mdelivered about the energy that I put out

(29:29):
and that the way that I leavesomeone, and so shany you know,
we've had some amazing talks, youknow, some my X men other day
about being a female manager and hewas like, do you feel you have
to be like this? And Isaid, no, no, no,
no no. I love being me. I love being a woman. I
love everything about being a woman, from the way that I you know,
get dressed and you know, justbeing a woman like I never wanted to

(29:51):
be a man, nor do Iwant a man. It's like a man
or anything else. But I thinkthat comes with being comfortable in your own
space. That I never felt likeI had to be anyone else. I
just want to be the best nickyas possible, and that's been very I
feel blessed and hilly favorite. Ifeel like when you're comfortable, it then
helps everybody around you to be comfortable, and so I appreciate those words.

(30:14):
I'm not anti anybody, but Iknow that in certain spaces, and especially
like I said before, is nobodywants to be a party of one.
And I've had to go down thisroad. So if I can help anybody
to be comfortable in that place andI absolutely want to make sure that we're
creating communities. And I one hundredpercent believe that women can exist and thrive

(30:37):
and love on each other and celebrateeach other and all of those things,
you know, go against all ofthose things like women can't get along enough.
I do not subscribe to that. You know, every time I see
you, I'm like queen, QueenQueen. All my girlfriends we call each
other queens, and I really Ijust I live by that. I want
to pour into people. I amnot a drainer. I am a poorer.

(30:57):
And so that's what I want everybodyaround me to do, is when
they leave from around me, Iwant them to say, you know,
I got what she wants me toreceive, and I want to do better,
speak better, be better, goget better whatever that better is.
And that's just the way that Ilive. So I appreciate you for your
kind words, and you know thatI love you. I love you more,

(31:19):
we love you more. Nikki, you have helped a lot of women,
not by just work, but you'vehelped me just with words, just
with words to strength and words tokeep going, words to hey, live
by words to say hey, Igot this. So thank you you know
and and community, don't forget youcan see Nikki and all her blender.

(31:41):
What is the date for the eventagain, Nikki, April to twenty six
at tp saw grads from six furito nine thirty on the website or at
tasagolf dot com because the tickets arelimited because we want to make sure we
have enough space in there. Everybody'sto join ourselves. Live, then open
bar and a culinary. Oh my, I don't even know the world.
I can't find the words to explainwhat you actually get to experience, but

(32:06):
you already know. The TPC futilityis absolutely gorgeous. So one of the
premium events that's had here in NorthFlorida, and all of the money stays
right here in North Florida for ourchildren, hosted by the Nikki Sparrow Moreland
community. Be sure to get out, involve yourself in something different and something
so unique. But involve yourself.Get out. We are outside now,

(32:30):
get out, enjoy these phenomenal eventsand understand that it goes back into our
community. It saves lives, Itsaves our children. Nikki, anything else
you'd like to say to the communityat this time. The last thing I
will leave everybody with is absolutely takecare of yourself. Will make sure why
you take care of yourself, you'repouring it to somebody else. Is a
cycle, and the more that yousee about somebody else and focus on somebody

(32:52):
else while taking care of yourself,I promise your tank will stay full.
And Shauniel, like I mentioned before, if it has something to do with
kids, one hundred percent. Andand thank you for coming to Saint Jude
this year because I was a gracioushope for that huge event for Saint Jude.
But like giving back to kids andother things in the community, it
absolutely feels my heart and it remindsme of why I'm doing what I'm doing.

(33:15):
So I'm so grateful for all thesupport. I'm so grateful for the
love, and sometimes I'm a littlethrowed off because I was like, this
is what everybody's supposed to it.Well, thank you Nikki for pouring into
us, pouring into the community.Thank you just for being the woman that
you are. The flowers or yoursbe phenomenal because you are well. Thank

(33:36):
you, Queen, and so areyou. And congratulations on everything that you're
doing. And thank you for alwaysbeing ready to serve to be present and
do what needs to be done inthe community. So hat thoughts to you
as well. Miss Shawnee, thankyou so much for listening to community viewpoints.
It's all about empowering the community.Have a blessed day and be great

(33:58):
on purpose.
