Today, the FAA is beginning at ten percent reduction in
flights at major airports in order to relieve stress on
air traffic controllers who are overworked and not getting paid.
Former airline pilot Patrick arns And says this is a
difficult but necessary move.

I want the folks that are working the flights that
I'm on to be well rested, to be well compensated,
and to be in a good mental place so they
can function at a very high level. And we've got
this perfect recipe right now where we see that degrading,
and I give the SAA credit for kind of getting
out in front of this problem.

Airlines say you will be notified if your flight is
canceled and rebooked on another flight or offered a refund.
