More variety from the two thousands, the nineties, and today
at Star one oh one three, Marcus and Corey right
before six o'clock. Good morning everything, Hello, fresh back from vacation.
I feel very rested.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Oh good.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
For the first time in years, Corey, I don't feel
like like my like my schedule got completely jarred. Even
though on vacation I was probably in bed by ten
thirty and up by seven thirty, and this morning getting
up at four. Usually I come back from vacation, it

(00:31):
takes a couple of days to get back into the swing.
I feel pretty swingy right now.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
That's well, let's see how you are tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
Well, he's kidding. Let me see how I am in
ninety minutes.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Oh great, that coffee.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
How are you? I'm good?

Speaker 2 (00:44):
It was it was a nice weekend.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
The weather was nice. And took the dogs for some
walks and it was pretty chill though. And that's okay.
Like we got a lot done around the house. There's
something that I did I'll share with you later. There's
a couple things that happen over the weekend that I'll
share with you later.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
In fact, in my notes, I got passed a note
here in class Corey writes, I'm a bad person again.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Again?

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Am I a terrible person? It's what it says Ice,
So that's the question.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Do you feel bad? But at the same time, I don't,
So you did something.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
I know, I actually didn't do something, oh that I
probably should have done, but I didn't want to, So
I'd say.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
It's all very cryptic. Yeah, we're gonna talk about it.
Six fifteen is Cory a terrible person? Per husu Also
coming up this morning, more tickets for our party that's
coming up at the end of the month, Marcus and
Corey's big day on the Bay, a y two K
boat party. This is gonna be with City Cruises. I'm
very excited. Oh yeah, it's just gonna be on a boat,

(01:45):
partying with everybody.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
It's gonna be fun.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Celebrate in the last swing of the summer and dancing
to our favorite era music, the early two thousands. If
you want to just buy tickets, they're on cell now
at eventwright dot com. M hm. Otherwise you can try
to win them at seven thirty five when we talked
back for tickets to get ready more variety from the
two thousands, the nineties, and today. It's Star one oh
one three Marcus and Corey Monday morning, Good morning. Hello.

(02:09):
Sometimes I get random texts from Corey and then we
have to kind of dissect them. This one might actually
call from some judgment on your part. If you're listening
right now, Corey just wrote, I am a terrible person. Again,
to be fair, before we start talking about what a
horrible person you are, you'd feel terrible I do about
what went down.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
I do, but I probably wouldn't change it.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
All right, Well, that's that's strong.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
Last week I got a little handwritten note in our mailbox, okay,
and it was a lovely little note that said, this
was my parents' house. So the daughter of the people
who had this house, huh is in our neighborhood. And
she said, my brother's coming in town and we'd really
like to see the house.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
I'm not gonna like you after.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
The story, You're not going to.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Like where this is going.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
And my husband and I talked about it and we
just kind of got here's one of the things that
I was uncomfortable with.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
I didn't feel like giving out my phone number.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
But you know it's her. You know this is her
parents' house, right.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
I don't know I mean, I think so, but I
blew them off.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
There's a part of me that like, I get it
because I remember when I was a kid in the
house I grew up in. The former family came by
and they were like, do you mind if we look around?
And it's kind of weird because I'm like, I'm not
sure what you want to get out of that.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
And the thing is they walk into the.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Backyard where we put in a pool and they're like,
our dog was buried back there. So I don't know
if it's always such a good idea for somebody to
come in, because I feel like we've changed a lot
in that house, sure, and I don't want them to
be disappointed in what they see or what they don't see.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
If you're asking me, I wouldn't personally be worried about that.
If I'm going to a house that I have not
occupied for decades or whatever, I know it's going to change,
but when you walk in, you're going to still feel
certain vibes. You're going to feel a certain type of
way still no matter what the change is. In my opinion,
that's just me to talk.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
Well.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
I appreciate that she put the note out and didn't
just show up because I have done that.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
You've gone to somebody's house, not me.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
My parents when I was I don't know, fourteen, So
I was born in San Luis, Obispo. My parents both
worked at cal Poly as teachers, and they had the
tiniest of tiny apartments and they were trying to start
their little family. It was the apartment that like my
sister when she was two and then I was born,
basically living in this apartment. We were on campus and

(04:30):
we just went and knocked on the door and my
dad said, sorry to bother you. My wife and I
this was our first place.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
To get so invasive to me.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
Like I think about, it wasn't twenty twenty five though,
it was like nineteen eighty six. I think it was
more socially acceptable.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
So after my mom passed away, my sister and I
sold our childhood home.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Neither of us are going to be living in Florida.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
I've gone back and seen the changes and seen what
someone had did and said, that's not my house anymore.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Right, those aren't my memories, that's not my head home.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
I honestly didn't want them to be offended, because you know,
we've taken down a lot of crap in that house
that they were probably thinking is still up.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
I have to assume they would know that. You know,
they're not going to be offended. It's not their house anymore.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
Well, I like it.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
I know Airbean beat it and then changed everything.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
My husband and I talked about it, and I was
just like, I don't want to give up my phone number.

Speaker 5 (05:21):
I but I do feel slightly guilty. I feel weird
that I'm going to tell you. I don't think you're
a bad person, because it's twenty twenty five. It's difficult
to trust people at the end of the day. I
feel like it's up to your comfortability level. And if
you're not comfortable and you guys legitimately discussed it, no me,

(05:41):
it's your house. Is that weird to me? A bad person?

Speaker 1 (05:44):
I don't know where's everybody at on this.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
I just wohen the timeframe came and went, my window
came and went.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
I was like, in my.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Heart, if somebody showed up at my door and said
I used to live here, I would question them. I
don't know if I would let them in. I would
at least let them into the backyard to chat.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
Well, I don't do poppin so I do appreciate it
to pop in a note, but it was like and also, I.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
Just feel like there's so much clutter and we're.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
Just others that too.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
You you know, I'm not there yet.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
We're still trying to like clean the place up from
because we downsized or whatever.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
It's forth. I don't think you're a bad person, thank you.
Someone else might think differently, that's you know, I'm used
to that. That's fine.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
I get that on talkback all the time.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
Just a recap. Lady whose parents used to own Corey's
house left or note. They wanted to come in and
check it out, you know, for nostalgic purposes, and you
guys decided against it, weren't comfortable. I get it. Leave
us a talkback. What do you think? It's a little
red microphone on the iHeartRadio app. If you're streaming Star
one on one three right now, please leave us a message. Well,
variety from the two thousands, the nineties, and today it's

(06:43):
Star one on one three Marcus A Corey, Monday morning.
We want to start the week off right. We're always
worried about our fitness. Here are some simple ways to
fit movement into your life. I like to call it
incidental cardio.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
I try to do it, you know, like I feel
like behind the scenes, you and I both you'll do
like a squad against wall, and I'll do like push
ups against desk, and I feel like we're trying.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
I never feel like I'm doing enough. I gotta be
honest with you.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Well, as long as I close them rings. And then
of course my husband's like, what do you have your
rings set out?

Speaker 1 (07:11):
I'm like, you shut your mouth for me. It was
something as simple as you go to target, you park
in the back of the parking lot. I do that
right now, you get in extra steps, walk everywhere. I
used to do a thing like what that I called
bus chasing when I lived on Folsom Street in San Francisco.
I would chase the bus to the gym six blocks
and they're Soma blocks, so they're gigantic long blocks. The

(07:32):
bus would stop, I would walk, the bus would go,
I would sprint and I would walk, and I was
anybody on the twelve probably looking out the back window
like I'm a freak. These things are also very good.
Right here, says bike or walk to errants, do some
squats or wall sits while your food's heating up in
the microwave at work.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
I miss walking everywhere. That was one thing that living
in the city here. But I don't walk as much,
so I try to do more. I take the stairs
every day.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
Here says that right here leads to a ten percent
lower risk of dying of all causes compared to not
climbing the stairs. So I take the elevator. I'm going
to die sooner than you.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
It's a little different, though. You know you have an
infliction what nothing.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
Lead by cerebral palsy. Out of this walk while you
talk on the phone.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
I love that if you do it quietly and not
in my face. Do cafhrases while brushing your teeth.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
I do that.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
I love it.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
Just you know. The other thing I do is the toepic.
I just I don't do the up and down. I
just stand there on like a like a ballerina. Yeah,
not like a ballerina. You know what I mean? To
stand up right now, we're on the radio. No one
can see. You. Do your chores faster. Use a desk, treadmill,
or a walking pad. Get active while you're watching your
favorite show. I mean, yeah, I weirdly like to do

(08:52):
pushups while I'm watching football, especially if somebody is running
for a touchdown. I'm a complete weirdo. Don't give me
that look.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
I was just thinking.

Speaker 3 (08:59):
You know, you watch sports and it makes you want
to be active, and when I want to feel really
good about myself, I watch my six hundred pound life.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
I don't know how I feel about that last statement.
Incidental cardio. Easy ways to fit more movement into your day.
I know somebody out there listening does these little things.
Do you have a pro tip for us that we
haven't covered yet? Hit us with the talkback if you
don't mind. It's the little red microphone on the iHeartRadio app.
Corey's gonna check what's trending next.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
It looks like a celebrity couple has broken up. Would
that be Timothy Chella May and Kylie Jenner.

Speaker 5 (09:37):
Oh, I'm still hoping for Olivia Rodriguez so we can
get that new album.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Uh okay, okay, all.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
Right, we'll talk about that and more coming up at
six fifty Star one on one three. Except this is
what I'm talking about. It's what's trending on Star one
O one three.

Speaker 6 (09:53):
What's happening in entertainment news, the biggest stories of the day,
and everything people are talking about today in the Bay.

Speaker 3 (10:00):
Fans are defending Taylor Swift after the AI assistant for
Elon Musk's social media site x created explicit deep fake
videos of the singer. This feature was used to generate
images as Swift with a prompt and then turn them
into a video using the preset Spicy. Thirty images were generated,

(10:22):
some showing Swift and revealing clothes, and then it generated
a clipped where she tears off her clothes and begins dancing.
Her fans are outraged. They blasted the AI's reporter capabilities,
with one calling it digital rot and a forty four
billion dollar playground. And I feel like this is this
is grounds for a lawsuit, don't you think sure?

Speaker 2 (10:43):
I mean, there's gonna.

Speaker 3 (10:44):
Have to be some regularities with AI, and don't do
that to Taylor Swift the last time.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
I mean to anybody. But that's the last person, because
Swifties will get activated.

Speaker 2 (10:54):
Oh yeah, they're cloud.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
Uh. There's some fans that think that Kylie Jenner and
Timothy Shalla may could have broken up because Kylie shared
some breakup themed songs on Instagram.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
It's kind of sad because.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
I haven't heard of either of these and either that's
showing my age or they're just really new.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
I don't think we've played them here.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
So the emotional songs have lyrics about longing and heartbreak
came as she and timoth. They haven't been seen together
in public in a month, but he's in Prague.

Speaker 2 (11:22):
He's filming Dune Messiah. They've been dating since twenty twenty three,
so who knows. He could just be busy.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
It's probably fine.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
And then a dog named Petunia took the title of
the World's Ugliest Dog contest at the Snowa County Fair
in Santa Rosa. I don't think this is the world's
ugliest dog. I think she's precious, but the hair.

Speaker 1 (11:41):
Cute as a button. I don't know what they're talking
about it.

Speaker 3 (11:43):
I know so she's hairless. She's an English French bulldog
and her owner, Shannon Nyman, scored five thousand dollars with
this whin. She's gonna be on the Today Show this morning.
The World's Ugliest Dog contest has been running for nearly
fifty years.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
Although if I was the owner, I would not be mad.
I just I mean five grand I'd not be mad.
I would not be mad.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
It's hard to be to call any dog ugly truth,
to be honest truth.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
I don't even know where I want to start. I
want to start with the cutest story you may not know,
rapper Gz. Look, i'll get to an outside Lands recap
in a minute, but you probably got inundated with it
on social media, so we'll get there in a second.
This story that just came down about Gez used to
be named Young Jeezy, of him getting to a show
from South Carolina and Baltimore and the planes, trains, and

(12:31):
automobiles that it required has melted my heart. So he's
in South Carolina, he's got to make a flight to
DC for a show in Baltimore. Flight gets canceled. He
doesn't just give up or cancel or anything like that.
He decides to arrange for a driver from South Carolina
to Washington, d C. Imagine this first, Okay, two hours

(12:52):
into the ride, the driver hits something in the road
punctures the gas tank.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
Oh gosh.

Speaker 1 (12:58):
At this point, I'm canceling the show. But my guy
Jeezy decides to call an uber. Okay from South Carolina
to Baltimore, pulls into the show with ten minutes to
Spare goes on stage and brings the He liked the
uber drivers so much he brought him on stage with him.

Speaker 2 (13:18):
Well, he spent a lot of time with him. They
had some time to get to know each other.

Speaker 1 (13:21):
Oh, I enjoyed that story so much, but it did
I'm not sure either. All Right, Outside Lands Doci was
the big breakout star Friday night. Her show what some
called electrifying, even upstaging the headliner Doja Cat, although she
did a really good job as well. Tyler the Creator
ar also perform, and then on last night, Hosier closed

(13:43):
the festival out with a two hour performance That's Awesome,
which was pretty awesome. And then Anderson Pack brought on
E forty on stage for a surprise Heiphie mashup that
everybody loved and Gracie Abrams killed it. Oh did an
amazing job. People were calling in very emotional, very intimate.
There's your wrap right there were you at Outside Lands?

(14:03):
How did it go for you? Leave us a talk
back on the iHeartRadio app if you don't mind. There
were a lot of random celebrity sightings, including who was
walking around in the Conan O'Brien just randomly grabbing a
taco I thought that was pretty good. Lots of school
district starting school this week and next week. That time
is upon us. I'm bringing it up because traffic patterns
are going to change. Watch out for the kids today.

(14:26):
The only major school district that is starting is Oakland Unified.
But this week you've got Fremont Berkeley back to school
and we are running our Thank a Teacher contest. You
have a chance to give your favorite teacher a five
thousand dollars shopping spree and classroom supplies.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
That's so nice.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
Got to go online and nominate. Our top nominees are
Miss Yanaz from San Jose from kipp and Navigate College Prep,
Miss bark Howski in San Francisco at Everett Middle School,
Miss Diaz at Newark Memorial High uh Ms Bess Ramirez

(15:08):
from Middle College High School in San Pablo, and then
mister Maloney at Lynston Elementary School in Pleasanton. I'm sure
I pronounced that wrong, but if you want to go
on and give them more votes, you can. If you
have a teacher that you want to thank, you can
go to one O one three dot com slash teachers
to participate right now?

Speaker 2 (15:27):
What was it all about?

Speaker 1 (15:28):
Best? Best was catch what's trending?

Speaker 5 (15:31):
Every weekday morning on the fifties six fifty seven, fifty eight,

right into it. How did you guys meet and then
what happened on the first date? Well, we met on tinder.

Speaker 4 (16:18):
Okay, we went out for a few drinks around Berkeley
and yeah, it had a great time.

Speaker 5 (16:24):
It was a great date.

Speaker 4 (16:25):
It was hello, how are you get to know each other?

Speaker 1 (16:28):
Yeah? I had a few drinks and then I haven't
heard from her since. I thought that when we said
good night, I had a hug, and then that was
did you make it weird on the hug? Did you
make it weird on the hug? No? No, I tried
to hold a little too long.

Speaker 3 (16:44):
Too long?

Speaker 1 (16:45):
That's you, all right? And she has ghosted officially. Yeah, okay, Corey,
what do you think?

Speaker 4 (16:54):
Well?

Speaker 2 (16:54):
I think Roxanne.

Speaker 3 (16:56):
She's a bank clerk, kind of shy, not really used
to date, and one night discovers this mask that contains
the spirit of the Norse god Loki, and then like
her entire life changes. You know, while wearing this mask,
she becomes like a supernatural, just fun loving person, exuding
charm and confidence. But then with her energy, she robs

(17:20):
a bank and that makes a crime lord really mad
because that was his money.

Speaker 2 (17:25):
And so now she's in hiding from the goons.

Speaker 4 (17:29):
No idea.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
Why you just quoted the movie the Mask? It is
the mask Mask. I was gonna say the Mask, but
you didn't. Caleb is so confused. He's not He's right
on board with me. I don't think that's what happened, Caleb,
I gotta be honest, but no, it wasn't. But let's
let's call her and find out. Can you hang on
for a song. Yeah sounds good. Awesome, dude, we'll be

(17:52):
right back with it. Second Date Update Star one on
one three more variety from the two thousands, the nineties,
and today Star one O one three. Marcus and Corey
were doing Second Date Update, chatting with our guy Caleb,
who has been holding He's waiting for us to call Roxanne.
Date matched on Tinder Cocktails in Berkeley, and by all accounts,
Caleb like, it was fine. You did hug at the end.
There was no kiss. However, you didn't make it weird,

(18:15):
you promise. Okay, all right, let's call her and find out.
Go ahead and mutu your phone. Obviously, we're gonna have
you listen in and we'll see what she says. Okay, cool?

Speaker 2 (18:30):

Well, have you ever heard of Second Date Update?

Speaker 4 (18:53):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (18:53):
We would like to invite you to be a part
of it today.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
Oh god, okay, we understand your dating, you know, here
and there trying. So there's a guy says you met
it for cocktails in Berkeley and really dug you, and
he's feeling feeling like you ghosted. I wonder if you
have a second to talk about your date with Caleb
and whether or not we should bring him on now

(19:18):
or later.

Speaker 4 (19:19):
I mean we didn't talk about it for sure.

Speaker 1 (19:21):
Alright, Well hold on, Caleb. We don't want to talk
about you like you're.

Speaker 4 (19:24):
Not here, right, Yeah, I'm like I know he's.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
There, Caleb. Hello, all right, Hello, this is what adulting
sounds like.

Speaker 2 (19:33):
Sounds very mature.

Speaker 1 (19:34):
Here we are so rock sand uh. I guess I
asked the same question I ask everybody. Did you ghost?
And then, if so, what happened? Because my guy enjoyed
your time and would love to take you out again.

Speaker 4 (19:47):
Yeah, I mean I enjoyed my time. I just do
not see it going anywhere. So yes, I ghosted.

Speaker 2 (19:55):
Okay, and why did you feel like it's not going anywhere?

Speaker 4 (19:58):
Yes? I should have just him up front. Yes, I
just didn't want to be like, hey, I think you're
cheap and I can't date you because that just seems.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
Mean he's cheap. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (20:11):
He he showed up to our date in a an
uber pool, like there are strangers in the call her
when he caught out to go on a date with me.

Speaker 2 (20:22):
Okay the.

Speaker 1 (20:25):
Much yes, Oh okay, sure, Okay, that's that's the one
where you share the riding. Okay. Sometimes you can get
it by yourself though, and it's cheaper.

Speaker 4 (20:39):
That Okay, I didn't know that, but yeah, I just
I felt like, I don't know, like it was a
cheap move, like and I just feel like it shows
like what kind of partner he would be, and like
I don't want to have to sit there and think
about like what am I ordering? Can he afford? This?
Is he going to be weird about money? And so
I just I was like, I can't long term do that.

(21:02):
I can't. I can't. I'm a princess. I just want
to be treated like a princess and I'm not going
to ride in uberpool.

Speaker 1 (21:07):
Oh wow, Okay, Yeah, this is all right, Caleb, your
thoughts you know, I'm good.

Speaker 3 (21:16):
Oh yeah, that might be one of the quickest relations ever.

Speaker 1 (21:25):
Wow, this is over. Isn't it already? Yeah, okay, well, hey,
yeah we're you know what, let's just pretend like we're
in we weren't even here, you guys.

Speaker 4 (21:35):
I didn't think he wanted to know this information.

Speaker 2 (21:37):
That's why I.

Speaker 4 (21:37):
Didn't send it.

Speaker 1 (21:38):
Well, yeah, look, at the end of the day, you
guys aren't compatible, and we can just leave it that,
I think. Yeah, yeah, hang on, hang on.

Speaker 5 (21:46):
What a simple resolution that was. Yeah, you know, I
came and went quick. I like it when we can
settle these quickly.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
Second date update seven o five weekday mornings, you replace
it nine oh five. You get the podcast on the
iHeart radio. It gets over one hundred thousand downloads a week,
which means, I mean people are listening worldwide. If you
want to catch up on all the past phone calls,
you can do that. Set a preset as well. More
variety from the two thousands, the nineties, and today it's
Star one O one three, It's Marcus and Corey seven

(22:15):
to twenty Monday morning, Good morning, big news on the
show as one Corey Foley has started working out again. Yeah,
we're not sure how we feel about it. I'm posting
the picture right now of you completely defeated on your
living room floor.

Speaker 2 (22:28):
Yeah, that's I took a picture right after I worked out.

Speaker 1 (22:31):
How long has it been the way you seriously worked out,
I'm not talking about taking the stairs at work. Months, okay, months?

Speaker 3 (22:40):
Uh So I decided to zoomba and it was just
it was a train wreck from the very beginning because
my zoomba is on my Wii. Yes, the original Wii,
that's how old it is. And then you got to
put your belt. You put this little belt on and
you put your remote in there. You know, your your
hand operating device. You put that in your belt so
you can track your movement and you can AnyWho. I

(23:02):
had to start the thing over three different times. Why
because my handset wouldn't connect to the TV. So my
third attempt into doing this set things are going, Okay,
I'm feeling pretty good. I'm getting the moves down and
I'm tracking stars. You get stars at the bottom of
the screen if you do the moves right.

Speaker 1 (23:20):
Then let me guess you look up and your husband
and the dogs are watching you from the doorway, and
he's videotaping you.

Speaker 3 (23:25):
He would not do that because he knows that I
would leave him if he did that he did come
down to the garage, but he was dealing with his
own stuff, you know, like he was working on his
hot rod.

Speaker 2 (23:35):
And that's a whole nother story.

Speaker 3 (23:36):
But I all of a sudden, I'm working out and
feeling good about myself.

Speaker 2 (23:41):
And then I'm on the floor.

Speaker 1 (23:42):
What happened?

Speaker 2 (23:43):
My knee just gave out. Oh god, it wasn't painful,
it was fine. I didn't drop that you sure?

Speaker 3 (23:50):
Are you sure?

Speaker 4 (23:50):
Hey?

Speaker 2 (23:53):
Do you want to die today?

Speaker 1 (23:54):
Sorry? Urh? I should say I'm older than you, I'm
younger than you.

Speaker 3 (23:58):
It was just so bizarre because I'm like, wait a minute,
I was just standing and now I'm on the floor.

Speaker 1 (24:03):
Dude, it happen, and it happened out, and.

Speaker 3 (24:06):
So but I finish up the workout. I got like
sixty minutes on my exercise ring. And then yesterday I
couldn't laugh because the stomach hurts so bad.

Speaker 2 (24:19):
Even now, I'm.

Speaker 1 (24:20):
Like, how your abs are?

Speaker 3 (24:22):
Like?

Speaker 1 (24:22):
What are we doing? Who are you? Who is this?
And who are you?

Speaker 3 (24:25):
It was it was I don't know. I just woke
up with a sense of I'm gonna make this a
great day.

Speaker 2 (24:31):
Yeah, and I think I did.

Speaker 1 (24:35):
I mean, look, dude, any movement is great movement. But
I will caution you as someone whose knee gave out
as I was walking down the stairs no reason. The
only reason that I could ascertain was because I hadn't
stretched out before deciding to walk.

Speaker 3 (24:49):
It was so weird, it was very I've never had
that habit of me. But I was just like on
the floor and I'm like, yeah, is this am I
working out too hard? Did I?

Speaker 2 (24:59):
Did I go do hard to fast too soon?

Speaker 1 (25:01):
I have sneezed and hurt my hips? Uh huh, So
you gotta be careful. Here's where it Here's where it
goes sideways. Is that I learned that our bodies, like
they wear out after a while, you know. And I
you know, I'm what fifty gonna be fifty two here
in a couple of months, But they just wear out.
And so you can't go as hard as you used to.

(25:24):
And I know you used to be a gym bunny
back in the day. Yeah, you know, And you want
to get back into it and you want to play.

Speaker 3 (25:30):
Zoom is good because it's fun. I'm competing against myself
and I can monitor how hard I go at it.

Speaker 2 (25:39):
So once the knee gave out. That's when I was like, take.

Speaker 1 (25:42):
It down and notch if the knee gives out, and
then now you're gonna be you're you're gonna be in
water aerobics before uh oh, and it won't be the gym,
it'll be a rehab facility.

Speaker 3 (25:53):
It's it's crazy though, like I'm I'm more sore today.

Speaker 2 (25:57):
You know you're always more short two days later and
I was like, but it feels good. It's a kind
of good soreness, like I did something positive.

Speaker 5 (26:04):
I'm loving your outfit too. Oh, thanks to very flash dancy.
It is very flash dancing.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
Even your your shirt's even cocked off the side of
your of your shoulder.

Speaker 5 (26:14):
It's one of my favorite shirts showing your tattoos because
I'm so hardcore.

Speaker 1 (26:20):
Ow my knee Corey on the prone position. We can
only be termed a wood floor from the eighties. I
don't know anyway you can check that out. I just
posted it. It's on the Marcus and corn Instagram. Send
her some words of encouragement, especially especially if you're someone
who just got back in the workout game. We appreciate it.

Speaker 3 (26:41):
It's one of those things where you gotta stick with
it or it gets real easy to sit on the couch.

Speaker 1 (26:47):
It's time for good news with Marcus and Corey.

Speaker 6 (26:52):
Sometimes all you need is the one a good thought
to make it a great day.

Speaker 3 (26:56):
So let's do this.

Speaker 6 (26:57):
It's good news on Star one one three.

Speaker 1 (27:01):
You're getting a good news twice in morning seven forty.
This hour brought to you by Shriven Company, Luxury time Pieces,
fine designers and Flawless Diamonds. When I first read this story,
it is local, and I struggled with whether or not
it's actually good news because it's not about good Samaritans
or little kids doing big things or somebody you know
paying it forward. But if you live up in like

(27:22):
the North Bay, the thirty year highway project is almost completed. WHOA,
so they started this highway project. This thing has been
going on for more than half my life. And so
if you ever drive up to Petaluma and you just
see the barriers and there are bottlenecks. It's so bad
that there is a sixteen mile stretch that they call

(27:44):
the Marinza Noma Narrows, it just gets weird. The traffic
congestion sucks. Getting to the city from the North Bay
is in the morning and the afternoon community has just
been awful for thirty years. Wow. They started this thing
in the nineties and it is set to open this month.

Speaker 2 (28:03):
That's exciting.

Speaker 1 (28:04):
Yeah, here's the here's what I'm seeing. Enhanced traffic flow,
expanded transportation options, so they're you know, more bus options,
HOV lanes, and relief from chronic bottlenecks. That's great and
I just the only the reason I bring it up,
Like I literally I feel like it's been going on

(28:24):
my entire life. Yeah. Literally, you're like, are they ever
going to finish this thing?

Speaker 2 (28:28):
So that's amazing.

Speaker 1 (28:30):
If you're up there in the North Bay, we're thinking
about you right now, and I hope you're excited. Uh,
let us know how you're feeling, because it must be
a gigantic relief. But feel free to use the talk
back if you like. Variety for the two thousands, the nineties,
and today, it's Star one on one three, It's Marcus
a Corey. It's time to play the bas favorite trivia game.
It's called What You Know About That?

Speaker 3 (28:50):
You went a pair of tickets to Marcus and Corey's
