(00:00):
They're gonna style that profile. You'regonna bleed all night long. Maybe Chris
has that we're in an hour numberthree here and we're gonna wrap it up
here in about fifty five minutes andhand it over to one Ian forness.
Can I give an update from Oklahoma? My bed of a Huskies is looking
(00:25):
good. When I get ten bucks, I can use the ten dollars heading
into the weekend. Yeah, I'llhave to bring it in on Washington leads
by two. That's okay, threeto one. As we head to the
top of the fifth inning, theyplay seven, right, yeah, they
play seven. I'm just making sureI can't come on, don't your softball.
I should know it, and Ithink I did know it. I
(00:47):
just wanted to make sure because Ididn't want to be going idiot sheep sheep.
I just saw a picture of awater gun on Twitter? Is it
frowed upon? A run around yourneighborhood? Still the water gun? I
mean again, I understand what theclimate we're in now. No, it
shouldn't be okay because we have abunch of water. But my son's got
like a can you put an eyeout with it? You've got like one
(01:10):
of those pump ones like looks likeI mean, it looks like a thing
out of like Stormtroopers. I wouldtake a water gun or a squirt gun.
Squirt guns, the old school watergun, the old school squirt gun,
but it doesn't work half the time, and the water's leaking out of
the back end when you're trying toplug that little hole. But and then
(01:32):
I was asking, do you remember, Karis, did you ever play with
water wheenies? First time hearing aboutit? Okay, do you remember these?
So we used to get these atthe drug store, and then it
became a thing like then they madelike actual water weenie. Is anybody like
forty five, forty six right myage group that remembers buying water wheenies at
a drug store but before you theyactually made them that kind of yes,
(01:57):
yeah, yeah, no, theone that looks like surgical tubing. But
what you used to do is you'dgo buy surgical tubing. You'd tie off
one end, okay, then you'dfill up, fill it up, and
then you'd you'd take out a pen, you'd haul out a pen, take
out the ink, and then youput a pen in the other end of
the surgical tube and then you wouldjust clamp down on you fill it up.
(02:17):
Then you clamp down on it,and then you would spray up people.
This thing would spray like twenty fivefeet and like hard like. Then
they found it so popular they startedmaking them with like an actual like kind
of like a lever on it.That was all fancy. I think you're
probably looking at here because anybody elseremember waterween he's four nine four five one
on the telemore do text line?Well they look fun. Oh they're all
(02:42):
fun. Oh that was a goodtime. That was a good time,
good good time. All right, buddies. Good as in glass brings your
headlines. It's always four twenty atbuddies. What a time to be alive
with buddies. Cosskeys are taken onUtah right now. If they win,
they will face Oklahoma State. Theyare on the top of the fifth inning.
(03:06):
They are currently up by a scoreof three to one. As they
head of the fifth inning. Huskybaseball team is playing right now. Oh,
Dallas Baptist has come back here alittle bit. Guys. It was
eight one, but Dallas Baptists, thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ, has
played three in the bottom of thefifth one in the bottom of the seventh
(03:29):
inning. They probably have preacher manwalk around their hand. You're going now
eight five is the score right now, Dallas Baptist? Is that over bottom
of the seventh in anything else?Update from the memorial A decade leads at
(03:52):
seven under David Lipski is at sixhunder Patrick Cantling. That about Chad Remy,
No, what shot eighty eight yesterday? Seventy four today? But he
had a thirteen on one hole andI'm not sure exactly what happened, but
he's gonna miss his cut. Hehit his drive right down in the middle
(04:14):
and then proceeded to take a thirteenon a home Hey, Billy Horshell's gonna
miss the cut. He's shot openingaround eighty four. He bounced back today
with an even part seventy two ifyou haven't seen it on Twitter, though,
in a really emotional response yesterday toshooting in eighty four, which you
pointed out, shooting eighty four forthese guys is like, would you say
one twenty for an average golfer? But he just it was a real raw,
honest press comp Normally these golfers wouldnot stick. It would not answer
(04:39):
questions and it's actually kind of upto them to go to the podium.
They don't have to. But sincehe was defending champion, maybe he was
the defending champion, he felt itthat appropriate that he would go up there,
and he was very emotional and justtalked about, Hey, I don't
I can't. I don't know whyI'm not playing well right now. I
feel like I'm so close, butyet the results aren't they and it was
(04:59):
it was raw, and it justbrings a reminder because we all fall into
this that we just sometimes we lookhim as athletes and they just don't look
at him as humans. And itwas just a very human moment there from
Billy Horshe Well, the first partafter the first question, the pause was
I don't think I'm exaggerating to sayit was ten seconds at least, and
he just was like trying to collecthimself and imagine being at the top of
(05:21):
the world in a game and thenall of a sudden just feeling like you
can't even I'll say this though, they're a human but Scotty Cheffler better ff
and turn it up right now.Well, think of him on the personal
side and what he's going on thinkingabout on the monetary side, Scheffler,
get it going, Jesus, that'llteach you to take chalk. Yeah,
(05:43):
there you go, and get Chuckyover There is he there? And he's
been waiting patiently, like when arewe gonna get to me? This segments
about me? Hey. He joinsus right now as a nineteen time Emmy
Award winner. He's also a shampoomodel and joining us right now as Chris
Seeking from King five. Hello,Chris, how sorry we got t la
my bad bucket, Jim were allgood. I enjoyed a nice turkey sandwich
(06:06):
on wheatbread. I listen to youguys that we're talking about water wheenies,
and do you remember waterwes. I'mtrying. I'm doing. I'm doing what
I can. Oh do you rememberdo you remember water weenies? Do you
remember those? Well? Not onlydo I remember water weenies? Those were
I think when I was in fourth, fifth, and sixth grade. Those
were like the number one birthday giftwater when let me take you to this.
(06:29):
We had the water wheenies and wedid the thing with the pen.
But here's what we invented. Onthe North Hill of Ya, which is
now called Edgewood, but back inthe day, we would take two bungee
cords. Okay, yeah, wewould take us We would take a funnel
and we would droll a hole inthe size of the two funnels and then
attached bungee cords. So you're basicallyinventing a launch padger. So you need
(06:55):
three people for this, but thenyou have one guy hall on the left
side, one guy or one guyon the right side, and then one
person in the middle that goes allthe way back with the funnel and you
put your hand over the water balloonand then you release and you could shoot
those things five hundred yards six hundredyards. I love a good water balloon
fight, good water wheenie fight aroundthe neighborhood. That's just it's just good
(07:16):
times. Everybody had the water wheenies. But if you came in with one
of those homemade cannons, I mean, it was like your team was gonna
be the winner. Oh man, hey, how was how was the all
the state stuff? I mean wehad baseball tennis? How was that chaos?
Yeah? It was pure chaos.Congrats the everybody out there listed that
(07:38):
broad home state titles. But wehad a run. We had our our
oldest was in two state tournaments. So we go up on Saturday the East
Lake. We play east Lake inthe first round. You know, I
questioned the draw. You know,we weren't the sixteenth seat, but somehow
we were playing the number one seed. I'd love I'd love somebody from the
baseball committee to Colin and asked, tell me why Rogers dropped three spots in
(07:59):
an night. But that's okay.We ended up giving it doesn't sound like
it was okay. Sounds like you'reholding a grudge. Well, I just
want some answers. Just want someanswers. You know, I'm a reporter.
I not that I don't have SusannahFrame looking into this, but hey,
I want some answers. Um.But we gave east Lake their best
run of the state turn who wasa heck of a ball game. That
is a heck of a team.I got nothing but mad respect for east
(08:22):
Lake and ended up winning the title. We lost for one. My son
pitched through scoreless ins against the statechamps, and my favorite moment of that
though, is my dad. Guys, it's a pack crowd. First pitch
of the game, first pitch ofthe game, east Lake pitcher throws.
It looks a little outside, theycall strike. Heyy Egan sitting right next
to me, Oh my god,oh this is awful. Yeah, now
(08:48):
pitch yeah, And I said,Dad, Dad, your grandson late pitch.
We want that uncler on our sideright now. And so we him
and I basically for the first end. He went back in fourth, you
know, had a little uh father'sson moment, and we called him down
and he was able to enjoy theenjoy the game. We ended up losing,
but from there we head over theTri Cities for the state tennis tournament
(09:11):
and uh, you know, Astonlost to another state champion there, a
kid from Jackson's. Another tough job. But hey, who's complaining? We
had fun. It was a goodtime. Did everyone have a good time?
I saw the picture. A bunchof family members there, mom's cousins
and let's look like a big party. Let's just say some had maybe too
(09:31):
good of a time. We're youknow, we're which one answered Jim's question?
Which one? Yes, I'm gonnatell you, Jim, We're supposed
to be on the courts at sevenany of the next morning. Okay,
So we get over the beautiful TriCities we're staying in Richland, which you
know, kudos a rich one. They stepped up that tent a little pointint
(09:52):
Oh, it's just I love itdown there now. And um well,
I'm you know, my wife,my beautiful wife, a full wife,
you know, the number one readerof Pierce County and her sister with us.
You get together and then you throwin my brother's wife. It's it's
like they just go back to thelike they're in a sorority party and they
are party NonStop. And I'm tryingto get my son to bed and here's
(10:16):
my beautiful wife coming in the hotelroom at two am. I'm like,
jim any Christmas, honey. We'vegot a match in five hours. So
I love it. She was turningit up good her. What was the
poison? Uh, you know shewas doing it. You know, she
was having a little bit of this. She loves her one, she loves
(10:37):
her vodkast, so she's they youknow what, And here's the deal.
We get in this tennis tournament andyou got eighteen family members there and the
you know, my son's cousins comingto his defense through your heated match with
Kaminuton. You know, it's likeyou realize how how awesome family is and
how special these moments are. Andit was a good time. Did we
(10:58):
win state titles? No, butit was a heck of a ride,
and you know it was awesome.Yeah, Chris, I gotta tell you,
man, I mean to have onekid that was in a state tournament
in two different sports, I mean, that's fantastic. Well, and that
was the trouble Jim. He didnot in his mind he was he thought
Rogers was gonna make the final four, so he never picked up a tennis
racket. In his mind he wasgoing to because if he would have made
(11:22):
the final four, he wouldn't havebeen able to play in both. So
when they lost the East Lake,I didn't even talk to him that night
about tennis. And the next dayhe's like, hey, Dad, we
probably better we better hit a littlebit. And I'm like, yeah,
okay, So but I give creditto him. He's an awesome kid.
And and now we begin tonight.Guys, you've been there, We've got
grad parties. Now start tonight.Graduation in two weeks, you know.
(11:45):
So it's just it's the fun beginshere. So it's it's emotional, but
it's good. Well, you're leavingout the biggest news that has happened here
in the past week. Yeah, come on, well and pucket, this
is hard for me. All right, you're a kind of emotion. Do
you know what the big news is? Yeah? I do. Come on,
(12:07):
do you not want to talk aboutit? Well, no, this
is my and talk about you know, my my wife. Maybe that's why
she was just throwing them down becausewe had, like we knew what was
going to happen on Sunday last Sunday. Uh. Incredible kid by the name
of Zack Paulson played basketball for SPUis gonna go down and play for point
Loman out with his brother tys.Uh. He's been dating my daughter for
(12:30):
you know, four to five yearsand two weeks ago, Guys, he
made the comone me and sat downand asked if you could ask for you
know, my daughter to if youcould marry her. And we love the
kid a lot, but it's stillyour daughter and it's still emotional and uh.
And last Sunday was the big day. So we had all the family
and they're tight close friends over thatthey grew up with. And he asked
(12:54):
her and she said yes, anduh, you know now, now,
you know, I gotta now,I gotta somehow planel wedding. And my
wife's all into this thing, andI'm like just looking at the costs and
I'm just trying to cut wherever wecan go here because it's you know,
we're still a year and a halfaway, guys, but these things are
expensive. Now, Oh my god. Yes, well, congratulations, congratulations
to Maddie. That sounds great.Um so did she She must I saw
(13:18):
the pictures? Did she know?Because I don't think there was not surprised
by the photographer who pops out ofthe bushes, Hey I'm married, and
there she is right. They areboth, they're both grat they both are
going to be going after their master'sdegree, and because of COVID, they
both have the year's ls you willbe left in tennis and basketball. So
they were taking grab pictures that day, okay, where I was heading off
(13:41):
to go watch Luke, you know, take on Seattle Rotary, you know,
and Austin had baseball games and thenthe cousins said they were all going
out to the beach. So wewe pretty much sold her we weren't going
to be around. So I don'tthink she had any idea, and they're
going out to get grab pictures andthen so he called did YouTube for the
(14:01):
next year and a half. It'sit's tough. It's your baby, you
know, it's your baby daughter. She's getting married, and don't lean on
me. My daughter's fourteen. Shebetter not be coming home saying she's engaged.
Yeah, Jesus, hey, I'vehooked up with somebody I'd like to
get married. So he uh,he called though he did the right thing
to ask. Both of you werejust you Did he do it in person
on the phone? How I thinkyou're supposed to ask the dad? Yeah,
(14:24):
he yes, And Jim, that'sexactly what he did. He called
me out for lunch and uh,and we had lunch. At the end
of the you know lunch, he'slike, you know, any other suggestions,
like a, well, you know, there's a reason my wife has
twenty pillows on her bed and shepretty much rules the you know rules.
The next year, I think maybei'd give my wife a taxtion invite her.
(14:45):
Okay, wait did he so?Did he get right into it right
away? Like did you when youwent out to lunch? Did you know
why you were going out to lunch. I had a pretty good idea because
I haven't had a one on onelunch with him before, so I kind
of knew where we were going.Okay, So was he nervous? How
was he? He was? Youknow what, he was a little nervous.
But I like to think I'm apretty easy dad. You know,
(15:05):
I'm about to uh, you know, I don't know, I'm pretty I'm
pretty easy going with the kids andall their friends. Him. Did you
do that? He was loose, and he was fine, and you know,
then I come home then in meld, where's the ring? What are
they getting married? I'm like,I don't know, honey, that you
go do that. That's not myjob. So do we like him?
(15:26):
Were like the parents and then allthat we love them? We love them
all. Yeah, it's an incrediblefamily, you don't He's got two good
brothers, you know, and hisfamily is just awesome. You know,
all of his everybody around him isgood. So it's, uh, we're
very happy, very exciting. Well, when he when he asked you any
other suggestions, did you say,any chance you could get married at a
(15:46):
city park or a county park,a lope or a lope about the courthouse.
Well, I thought, you knowher, the in laws have land
out on Von Bay. We coulddo it out there. Everybody could just
bring a bucket. You could digyour own clams. Yeah for dinner,
backyard, give me some gooey ducks. But it's uh for anybody that has
(16:11):
their kids getting married. You startlooking at some of these costs and here's
like, you know, they threwout one of the venues yesterday and they
said it's like ten thousand dollars. They said, what does that come with?
And they're like, nothing, justtables out of chairs. I'm like,
ten thousand is nothing these days forthe venue. Yeah, the down
(16:32):
of the South Sound, that's prettyhit. That's a hefty price. Why
don't we just have microsoft brother justkind of throw it at his compound.
Huh, Well, we may haveto go there, Puck. You may
you may have to or go toback up to the rain Eers and just
say can we go up on thatclub section and just have it there.
It would be about minute ago. You're gonna you're gonna be working. So
(16:52):
that early retirement you thought of Kingfive, that's not happening anytimes. There
is the only good news for me, is uh we can't do this until
after the Olympics, so usually afterDuring the Olympics, I'm working seven days
a week, twenty hours a day, so I'm thinking pretty much everything I
make during the Olympics will go towardsmy daughter. Yeah. If you think
(17:14):
it's emotional, now wait until you'rewalking down the aisle with her. Oh,
Egan's gonna be a mess, anabsolute mess. Open bar, open
bar. Oh, it's gotta be. If you're fair party, it's has
to be open bar. Yeah,it's got to be. And then that
older brother, you know what Imean. Well, we're not We're not
even a We're over a year anda half hour. They already got people
(17:37):
texting me, hey, are yougonna You know, I can get an
invite to that? I like, what it's a tough one for you,
like because then who from the workpeople to invite and all that kind of
stuff. I know. That's allwell, and that's this crazy thing you
(17:57):
mentioned that, Puck. I've beenat King five twenty two years and basically
we moved to boy we moved fromBoise here because of Mattie. She was
born one month after I started workingat King five. So pretty much that
entire crew has has watched her growup and has hurt stories about her.
So it's uh yeah, She's beenpart of the King plant five family in
(18:17):
her whole life. And with thatmine, I do need to transition to
get my shout out of the weekto King five photographer extraordinary photo journalists from
the Washington State University. Dave Whiteofficially announced his retirement. Guys, he
worked his last day at King fiveyesterday. How about this? Forty two
years and eleven months he worked atKing five. He was lou Gellos and
(18:41):
Tony Ventturla sports photog in the eightiesand the nineties and the intrough the you
know two thousands, he's been workingthe you know with Eric Wilkinson on the
news front. But forty two yearsand eleven months, Dave White has officially
retired from King five. One ofthe best photographers in the business. So
casting him well, shout out toshout out today. That's awesome. Emmy's
(19:03):
tomorrow, right, Emmy's tomorrow.I'll be Uh. I gotta work,
so I'm gonna go there during adinner break. It's gonna be the most
expensive dinner break I've ever been on. Under an eighty dollars for the sam
and dinner. But I'm gonna sneakin there because Joyce Taylor's getting a big
award and you know, I wantto be there to help celebrate with Joyce
and watch everybody get excited. Andof course if I win. You know,
(19:26):
my shout out goes to Jim Mooreand Jason. Who are you up
against tomorrow? Well, I'm up. I'm up for the Sports Story of
the Year with our story on CalebWannica, the young man that passed away
out of Peninsula and his best friendPeyton Knowles transferred from gig Harbor to Peninsula
to honor him. So that isup for Sports Story of the Year.
(19:48):
Then we're up for Sports Anchor ofthe Year against uh I think Piper Shaw
against Nico Orlando down KGW good,Yeah, Dirk and Boise, I don't
know, Doug and Medford, areyou all up for this? Let's let's
just be honest. It's coming downbetween you and you and Nico. Yeah,
(20:11):
but you know you gotta throw woodwith the crack and run that Piper.
Maybe you know, does does Nico'swife celebrate even though they work at
competing stations or how does that work. That's a good question. That is
a good I'm not sure if she'sgonna be rooting for digo for myself tomorrow.
Well, if she was a goodteammate, should be rooting for you,
not her husband. But we'll findout. Hey, well, good
(20:32):
luck. Congratulations to the family, give us, give Mattie big hut from
us. Tell her congratulations. We'llchat next week. Have a great weekend.
All right, thank you, boys, appreciate it. Chris Keegan nineteen
times soon to be twenty times EmmyAward winner. We'll have more. Update
the Huskies and Ute's next ninety threepoint three km's stak. How do you
(21:02):
like the two hall? What aright? How do you like the two
hall? It's a great day tobe a Blazer? A right, bro,
I'm risking my life. It's agreat day to be a Blazer.
Accessful of corruption something stac in suburbia. That's stak. Boom, chuck,
(21:23):
ol god, come on nor sayoh sorry from him in a long time?
All right, you wonderful her sayloved it. We don't build rockets
to go to in the upper quartileof winners, were in the top quartile.
I think that. How do youlike the two hal diers head.
(21:44):
I do the same thing. Iwas a broadcast journalism major. We're better
than most all moever. Love tosee it. Hey, what's happening?
This is Kobe Bryan. You're listeningto the Dave Softy Myers Show on my
fifty cage. I love to seeit. In the upper quartile of winners
were in the top quartile of thatupper anything else, anything else, anything
(22:10):
else, just do it all daylong here, anything else? Are we
going out there next week? It'sthat whoa whoa? In the upper quartile
of winners were in the top quartileof that upper it's that whoa, whoa?
Anything else? That's like alarm clock? Who who? Are we going
(22:33):
out there? I don't think weare. I saw the schedule, early
schedule. I don't think we weregoing out there. It's just like I
saw on Thursday the media availability ateleven thirty, and I didn't think they
didn't want us out there. That'sokay, that's okay, all right.
I'd like to be out there.Would you like an update from Oklahoma City?
Her or top of the sixth inning? Right now? We got two
(22:56):
ounce, but the utes have gota runner on first base US he's right
now, clinging to a three onelead, almost nearly turned a double play,
but just couldn't execute it in time. One out of way to go
into the final any all right,so we're four outs away from the Husks
dancing. Yeah, ten dollars.Yeah, see, I win either way
(23:21):
either way. I went, Yeah, I took the huge I did.
I admit it. Looking at thelosing wager, it's not it's you haven't
lost yet. I tell you whatif it pitched on the mouth of the
Huskies can't get it going, younever know what's gonna happen. Is either
the lefty that's low that can bea ball one one and with the kum
I'll tell you about my time withMichael Knight. No, no, you
(23:44):
didn't. If any and Michael Nightsstill doing the Facebook show that's still on
today, let's see it might beh No, I think they've wrapped up.
They've they've signed off yea by now? All right? Oh, you
know what I was gonna bring up, and I'm so glad that I haven't
wrote it down. I wanted toget to here's a chopper to second base,
throw the first out. We headto the bottom of the sixth inning,
(24:04):
Washington clinging to a three one lead. Did you happen to see John
Willner's suggestion at the San Jose MercuryNews suggestion for media rights? No,
for the You know, there's beena lot of conference talk about schedules.
(24:26):
SEC is in the news because they'recowards and we're gonna play eight games.
So stupid. It's just so dumb. You know, Georgia and A and
M haven't played like in it's eightyears or something or whatever it is.
They're in the same conference. Theydon't even play each other. What's the
point. What's the point of havinga team in your conference if you don't
(24:48):
play them? Well, because they'recowards and you know, it's the greatest
conference in the world. Fine, but they don't play each other. Yeah,
and then at the end of theyear they play at FCS team,
all of them. Yeah. Iknow I live in the past at this
point in my life, but Ienjoyed the Pac ten when you would play
nine conference games, which meant haveyou faced every opponent every year? How
(25:11):
about one more? John Wilner suggests. And sometimes when Wilner suggests this,
by the way, he also hearsit, he thinks, and I like
it. I think it's a goodidea. With the expansion of the playoffs,
Let's just pretend for a second topack twelve remains and they're good to
go, and we all move forwardten game schedule conference ten game schedules.
(25:36):
So this would be with adding SanDiego State in SMU or No, there's
nothing in here about adding anyone. He just says that they should move forward
with because their scheduling is gonna comeout here soon or like you know,
for a future scheduling, And hesays radical idea and he brought up a
little while ago, would be toadd ten interconference games, and his thought
(26:00):
process behind it was good because whatthe PAC twelve is found out is that
it's hard to attract teams to comeout here financially. They just don't see
the benefit of doing it and theydon't want to do it. It's a
miracle that the Badgers are coming outhere, a miracle, and Michigan State
(26:21):
did it last year. But wehave seen examples of Ohio State has canceled
the series on Washington who has comeout to play Oregon. I think Cal
finally gets I think Cal gets auburnedthis year, but Oregon talked to Rob
Mullins talked about John Kanzano that it'steams will cancel them, they won't play
onsen there. It's it's because it'stoo much of a home field advantage from
(26:42):
them, so we're not going toplay there. Washington holds a similar home
field advantage, so you could seethe ankst of why would we play out
there. We'll play in Vegas.See, these SEC teams will play you,
but they'll only play on these neutralside games. Now the neutral side
games are in Atlanta, so thatall their fan base can go. You
know Alabama. Alabama will play USCand they throttled them, but they'll play
(27:04):
him in Texas, will come outto Los Angeles. It's one thing that
we've been robbed here in college footballare these great rivalries. So he suggests
that a radical idea would be toaddress the concept of a ten game conference
schedule, and the thought process behindit would be Listen, there's some financial
issues within the conference. You wouldsave money on travel, you would save
(27:26):
money on paying people to come playyou, and that with an expansion of
the playoffs. Anyways, teams shouldbe rewarded for playing other good teams.
And then he brought up this idea. It's a good one one of the
one of the teams that this conferencewas always able to play because they didn't
have to travel far in'to why theyhad screwed this up royally to allow BYU
(27:52):
to jump to the Big twelve isthat they always scheduled BYU. I mean
BYU in twenty twenty one played fiveteams in the conference. I think they
weren't like four and one, bythe way, And but now BYU's gone
because they're in the Big twelve,so you have to find somebody else to
kind of take BYU spot. Andhis suggestion is it just just play everyone.
I love the idea. I loveit for me as a fan.
(28:15):
I would rather see ten intraconference gameswhere you play everybody, and then two
out of conference and let's make themhammer games. And I'm pleased, and
just do away with the Idaho's andthe Portland States and the Northern Colorados,
the Tulsas of the world. Well, does not benefit the fan when you're
(28:37):
asking them to spend all this moneyon seat licensing and tickets and tailgating and
all that why so I can gosee my team win by fifty's that's not
fun. No, I agree withyou, But I mean, if you're
going to continue to have two nonconference games, at least have one that's
semi marquee type game. And ifyou need to have a cupcake game,
(28:59):
okay, but at least you'd onlyhave two non conference games. But I
love that. I don't I don'tlike missing What do we missed too?
We missed two teams now so yeah, so, and we're not playing USC
this year, and I know that'sgreat for us. We'll have a better
chance to want to play. Ido too with Kayleb Williams c M one
last time. I like this idea. It's a great suggestion there by Wilner.
(29:21):
Hopefully maybe they will, they'll lookinto it. But I'd sign up
board. If the Pac twelve remainsall right, bottom of the sixth inning,
Husky's got a runner on one out, they're up three to one.
All right, that's uh, that'sflowing. We're finished. Ian Furnas Coat,
She'll just tell it like it isa lot of lack of discipline,
(29:41):
at least to the first half here. No one, damn, you're in
trouble. Husky has got the basesloaded. Bottom of the sixth inning.
They lead by a score of threeto one. How many out? There's
one out? Number eleven's up toooh, she just missed that right up
the middle. Josh miss that othermiddle middle pitches a wash? I think
(30:03):
so are there? Yeah? I'mgood, Chris? How long is that?
Have you listened to a little bit? Sixteen seconds here? You want
to hear a night? You wantto hear a little bit of nine or
eight when he interviewed a preacher man. We promised it at twelve thirty.
We didn't deliver. I can't getenough of nine or night. But I
don't think we can play the wholething. Would be late to your show,
went a little bit of it?Do we have two minute breaks again
today? I don't want a littlebit of it, a little bit of
(30:25):
niner, so I may set upnine eight. We worked here for years
and years ago, and then Iwould send him out on these man on
the street thanks to go interview people, and they were just and the mirrors
were terrible, so I'd had togo ask. You know, when the
Yankees would come into town and saygo find a Yankees fan and ask him
where they grew up in New Yorkand he'd do that. And we did
the same thing with the Red Songs. And I've never lived there. I'm
(30:45):
from Aubert Stadium now, I never. I yelled at some woman at the
game the other day. She's like, let's go ye and say, hey,
where'd you grow up? I'm fromthere, adopt I didn't grow up
there. Shocker stunning. Okay, nine or eight you sent him out to
interview the Preacher man who stands outthere with his hate and his signs,
yelling at people that if they don'tsupport God, they're burning in hell.
(31:08):
So nine or and eight went downthere to throw some questions at him.
Internet out here at safe cook Field, we're gonna go find the infamous Preacher
Man of Safe co Field and we'regonna ask him some important questions. I
found the Preacher Man. It's timeto ask him the most important questions.
Find out what he thinks of somethings going on in Seattle sports. So
(31:29):
who do you think it's gonna winthe Kentucky Derby? You lose always outside
of Christ, but you always havethe victory through Jesus. Turn outside of
question. You lose no matter whowhat team wins, what would you win
achieve? It's all going to burnthe fire? Well, what about what
great would you give the Seahawks draft? I'm concerned about as you get right
(31:52):
with God, because everything else shouldhave a statue, hire a safe coal
field. To man be born ofwater into the spirit. He cannot venture
into the kingdom of guns that whichis born. All right, So that's
doesn't answer the question. But okay, if you could start anyone, would
(32:13):
you start Jacob Eaton or Jake Browning? What I would do is I would
start Christ. Who do you thinkis better? Lebron or Michael Jordan?
Why is that they don't have Christ? What's your favorite name for the new
(32:34):
NHL team? You like Totems orMetropolitans. How about the Seattle Sodomites?
Okay, there were pretty good.Preacher Man kind of played along Seattle.
I don't win the Sodomites play.Huh, Well, it would have taken
out Dallas. Yeah, I don'tthink. I don't think there's any doubt
(32:55):
Jacob debate that brings it all theway back home, doesn't It's God?
It was better. I wish youwould have answered that he said, Christ,
I mean, you know, Christ, I can spin it great against
the Blitz. Yeah, sporting topff, you can spin it could be
great. Boy. He was quickon his feet. He was the strength
(33:19):
of nine or night? Was thathis strength is? Is he didn't give
a blank Yeah, and and soand you could tell not a lot of
energy, just kind of on thisthis path, like the nine or eight
path. What's he doing now?He? Uh, he works because I
got interviewed by like an FBI agentin some high security like data technology.
That's terrifying government thing. That's whymy Twitter doesn't work because guy's like that
(33:42):
are running the show now. Iasked me a bunch of questions about him,
like thirty minutes, like, hey, I don't know man, how
do you know him? I usedto send him out on the street to
do man on the street interviews, interview people. Was he doing a forty
nine ers blog or anything? Hedoesn't do Nothing's nothing at all? Okay?
Was he off of that? He'snot doing that anymore. He's not
doing any of that stuff anymore.I mean little bit I did it last
year when he was I thought Ithought they had like some podcast he was
(34:06):
doing. But I mean, youknow, you know, would be a
good podcast, you know when theNiners in the in the Seahawks play nine
or night in his Crew and doinga dual podcast with the Twelfth Man?
What it? What is it called? I'm sorry, man, man,
Jesus man, come on? Justthe hell? I wanted to get the
(34:27):
right name. I don't want tomake I know, I wanted to believe
that you've never listened to it.First of all, I got part of
it, right, I said manyI got. I was partially hs Man
to Man podcast wherever you find yourpodcast? And so asking what channel he's
on those TV shows? I lovehim on Cairo. Thanks. Yeah,
(34:49):
okay, you know, come onthe Man to Man podcast versus the Nate
nine or Night Gong show whatever hedoes with his traveling troop of knuckleheads down
there. Yeah, that'd be fun. All right? What's our playing for
today? Michael Sean Dugar using wordsthat none of them can understand. Hey,
what's the latest? All the Huskies? Just you guys have a bet
on this? Yeah? Utah?Yeah, did you get did you get
(35:14):
a run and a half? Atleast? Why not? I'm gonna look
at the seat, does Utah getanother at bad. What are we doing
here? They will be come topof the seventh and we close it out.
They're a lower seeded team. Theyalso beats beat Washington earlier this season.
I did my research. They splitBaylor beat Oklahoma this year. Yeah,
then they lost eleventh straight too,did you did? Here's a question,
(35:35):
answer the question on the show.Fact that I know too much about
that. As we got on theshow, Oh, what are we doing
today? Um, we're gonna checkCraig Button's gonna join us. Uh,
NHL analyst kind of previous Stanley CupWe've got. Oh you'll like this.
Uh, we're bringing felts Feltzie inat one forty five are we'll just call
it our Portland Sucks segment. Ohyeah, big rivalry games tomorrow, right
(35:58):
tomorrow and uh and then revisit aquick quote from Julian Love yesterday, playing
alongside your favorite player, Small Adams. Okay, all rudience coming up next.
Everybody, enjoy the weekend. We'llsee a Monday. We promised to
be better. No shirt, noshoes, no dies. I I was
(36:22):
to lick your face. I wasto rob you, but you were born
to rob pain. First, whatdo you mean my best for we write
the song a Thursday. I don'tthink that
