Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, we're going to go to Rocky Hill this
morning and find out why Justin is getting ghosted after
our first date. Good morning, Justin, Good morning, Hey, welcome
to the show.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
I hope we can get some answers for you this morning.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
Yeah, me too, Me too. It was I feel bad
because it was such a good date.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Okay, So tell us about this date.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Well, we met through mutual friends. I met her through friends,
and we got together. We went out for burgers and beers,
and we had just just great conversation, which was excellent
because the top it all off, she was smoking hot.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
We end up having great conversation and really getting into
just stuff and our mutual likes and everything like that,
and we ended the date fine with no problems, and
I was hoping for another day. I texted her a
couple of days later and said, hey, we'd love to
go out again. And I haven't heard back from her since,

(00:57):
completely ghosted.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
I like the idea of and beer because it takes
the pressure off. You're like, okay, so the pressure is off.
We're just gonna like dress casual, get burgers and beers.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Did you pay for the date?

Speaker 4 (01:10):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Okay, did you have too much to drink on the date.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
No, No, I had a beer and then water because
I was driving.

Speaker 4 (01:19):
Let me ask, what was the napkin situation with you?
Did you use enough that did.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
You wipe your mouth on your sleep? That's I'm talking
about that.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Yeah, I mean I don't I can't say that I
remember specifically, but I'm pretty sure I used a nap game.
I mean, I'm not one to wipe my food on
my sleeve.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Did you like burp after you drank your beer because
that's kind of gross.

Speaker 3 (01:45):
No, we're just remember because I do have a bad
habit of doing that at home when I'm not thinking
about it. And now I'm starting to think, did I
let one slip?

Speaker 1 (01:54):
We're nitpicking now it was burger and beers. I mean,
so let's just call her up. We're going to call
her up. We're going to ask why she's ghosting you.
If you're ready for the answers, we're gonna get him
for you.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
Yeah, let's go.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
He sounds like a nice guy, and I don't understand
what's happening.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Maybe he's a little too browy for her, Like maybe
he did have a little bit of like messy eating mermaid.

Speaker 4 (02:15):
She's a vegetarian.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Oh, she could be a vision or a vegan.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Hello, hi's Kendall there. Yeah, Hey Kendall, it's Courtney Kendall.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
It's Walmart Cheff.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Hey Kendall, it's Savannah.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
We're calling from Kiss ninety five seven. You're on the
radio this morning. Oh yeah, you're on second Date update.

Speaker 5 (02:36):
Oh no, so yeah, she said no.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Sounds like you know what it is, second date update.
You know, you go on a first date, you get ghosted,
we get answers.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
So Justin called us. Sounds like a great guy. Justin says,
you guys.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Went up for burgers and beers and had a lot
in common, and he's reached out to you, but you
are completely ghosting him.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
So we want to know how the date was for you.

Speaker 5 (02:59):
Well, if you must know, we must, we must. Indeed,
we had we had a fun time. We have a
lot in common. Okay, Yeah, I thought it was going
pretty well. We had burgers and beer, okay, up until
the waiter came with the dessert menus.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Okay, okay, So what happened with the dessert menu?

Speaker 5 (03:24):
Well, I was looking at the dessert menu and he
put his hand on my belly and said, don't you
think you've had enough?

Speaker 2 (03:35):
What are you talking seriously? Are you being serious? Kendall?
Uh yeah, okay, that's incredibly rude.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
I'm offended. Can I I'm just I'm not listening, Justin.
He's on the line. He's listening, Justin. Are you serious?

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Did you do that?

Speaker 3 (03:50):
Justin? Was an absolute joke. It wasn't even I was
not being serious in the slightest. Okay, that was I
thought that was so obvious? How how much of it?

Speaker 5 (04:00):
Like?

Speaker 3 (04:01):
I was just kidding. I thought we were there. I
thought we were like at that point where we could
make those jokes. We were making jokes, all.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
Right, and touching a woman's stomach and and and mentioning
how much she's eating? Is that's wrong on all levels.
It's not even a joke.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Yeah, not a good lie.

Speaker 5 (04:18):
No, No, Justin's a joke. That's ridiculous. It's the first date, dude, Wow, it.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
Was only a joke. I wasn't that. You're completely overreacting
to something so simple and so small.

Speaker 5 (04:33):
I Justin, I spent two hours getting ready for you.
I was excited about this date, and then you're going
to be joking about my body absolutely not.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
It wasn't even like I wasn't joking about your body.
I was joking about like you had you had a
whole like burger and chips, and you even ate some
my onion rings, And I mean, I love it with
an appetite. Are you kidding? There's absolutely no problem there.

Speaker 5 (05:00):
I have an appetite for you.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
Just I think where you screwed up. I don't mind
the joke, but after you say something like that, you
have to say, just joking, yeah, you kind of have
to laugh, yeah something.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
And I kind of giggled. I genuinely thought it was
insinuated or maybe save.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
That until you like really really really know the person
and know it won't bother them, because I feel like
if that was me on a first day, I would
have been like, oh no, So Kendall, do you accept
Do you accept Justin's apology or you just no.

Speaker 5 (05:36):
Sorry, I'm not interested.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
Okay, you're I'm just gonna say, Kendall's like me like,
if you're if you're gonna put your you don't even
know me and you put your hand on my stomach
and mention how much I've had to eat. I don't
care if it's a joke because clearly I don't like
your sense of humor, which means I don't want another
date because I'm never gonna like your sense of humor.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
Does that make sense?

Speaker 3 (05:58):
Yeah, I suppose.

Speaker 5 (06:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
I mean, I'm just listen justin Kendall. I usually offer to.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
Go on a second date, but I feel like you
were so offended that even if I paid for it,
you would not be interested.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
Is that correct?

Speaker 5 (06:12):
No, you'd have to pay for the date and pay
me for my time.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
Okay, Well, guys, thank you so much, and I'm glad
you got your answers.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
Thank you, Thank you, guys, appreciate it.
