year old Jayceon Branch, who was playing basketball with his
friend at Donie Moore and some other kids during recess
at Raleigh Oak Charter School in Raleigh when Donie began
struggling to breathe. He was choking on a granola bar,

and Jason calmly and quickly came up behind his friend
and performed the Heimlich maneuver, dislodging the obstruction and saving Donye.
Jayson says he learned the life saving technique from a
YouTube video. The moment was captured on the North Carolina
School surveillance video and niches left teachers and parents in awe.
