some and some pretty contentious times, right, I mean, it's
election season, right, but it just reminded me, you know,
baseball may maybe America's pastime.

A great unifier of America, interestingly enough. And I mean
Democrats love football, Republicans love football, you know, and know
like everyone just enjoys this. It's a great atmosphere in
sports and music. There's only a few things that really
can do that in America anymore. And it's just great
to be a part of this, especially Friday night. Perfect
weather and Ohio fields, great ass walking around, nothing sloppy.

Here Atupper Sandusky to the Rams hosting the Buckeye Central Bucks.
The visiting Bucks arriving here from b Washington, Crawford County
with a record of two and seven, coming off a
home loss to Wentford thirty two to twenty one. The
Rams entered dice contest in our home field in Epper Sandusky,
Windie County, with a four and five mark, coming off

a twenty eight to fourteen road loss to Colonel for Wafford.
Both teams are members of the Northern Ten Athletic Conference.
The head coach for Buckeye Central is Jordan Phillips in
its first season. The hc for per Sandusky is Russell
Hall in his seventh. He previously served as an assistant
coach for a decade. Buckeye Central players are dressed in
their road white uniforms designed with scarlett and gray, and

Up Sandusky players wearing their home black unis featuring the
orange and black. We do know that BC, you won
the toss, chose to receive, so up for Sandusky will
kick first and defend the south goal, which from our
broadcast perspective is to our right. So just about forty
four seconds until we get the opening kick.

field and I heard the coaches talking about h how
they were talking with the rafts, and they said, you know,
watch the eye black, you know, and you can't have
to be on both sides. It can't be something that
sticks out right, so uh and the coach was like,
Coach Ill was like, I mean, what am I supposed

I think you kind of turn a blind eye to
some things for the honor of what it stands for.

Absolutely, wow, we do know last season's meeting. It was
quite a battle. What for Sandusky did defeat BC in
New Washington forty eight to forty two. So yeah, could
be another close one tonight in game time, temperat sixty

Upper kind of starts sneaking up. I saw them making
differences in their coverage and who's covering who just really

start taking chances here and maybe potentially jumping on some

left side and waits for some blockers and takes it
across the twenty five and it's like he gets stopped

Phillips again not only great passer, but a good runner too.
Trying to gain a couple of yards. They're trying to
make some sort of positive happen for BC. Nothing too much,

coaches say, oh, if you're doing trick plays like that,
they'd consider a trick play.

No, man, you just give your athletes the ball and
they make the play.

there is make a penalty, and now you're second. At

and fifteen, that's pretty brutal. That's pretty hard to overcome.

See if upper starts to jump stuff, either by route
or by blitz. They got through that line and uh again,
they were running stuff to that trip's side of the field,
so they've been running towards the heavy side. Nothing really
unintentionally or intentionally deceptive. Necessarily, they're playing it pretty straight
so far.

In Upper Sandusky they almost got to third and eleven
from the twenty five yard line, and upper territory is
Buckeye central cornerback Jack Phillips, I'm like God, has the snap,
steps back, throws it and off the right hand of
Cuddle near the twenty two incomplete.

He yas heete there from Schaeffer by Epperson, Dusky really
getting in his face, Philip's face, and you know the
receiver is open in the flask, but he just could
not see over Schaeffer and so making it real difficult
to make that short little pass. And Bucks they really
live off that stuff and that's what sets the table

and wow, I mean it just takes really don't get
any bigger than that. You know, you win it, your champions.
If not, then you're not correct. And let's just talk

I was listening, but I heard you say that both
the teams are trying to play in and win and
get into playoffs. So I didn't know if they were,

looking at Upper schedule, they played a nine to zero

Northmore team. Okay, they're okay, they're ridiculous. Okay, they played Gallion.
They're six and three. They're in a dog fight with
Hart and Marion Harding right now. But Gallon's a playoff team.
And then they played Kerry, Seneca, Easton, Colonel Crawford, three

And so I mean, when you're thinking about it, they've
had a pretty tough schedule and some games where they've

but they did. So they've had and they've been competitive

They just they couldn't stop Crawford's run.
