to play the Carrington Lincoln Pirates. Warriors entered this game
on their home field and Sycamore, oh County, after falling
in the season opener by a single point twenty eight
twenty seven to Tiffan Calvert. The Carrington Lincoln Pirates arrived
here from their village in Morro County, coming off a
season opening win versus Elgin twenty six twenty two. Here

Here we go. First, the Warriors will be wearing their
home black and trimmed with the white numbers and red lettering.
Cheerleaders out there, and the officials ready to go. We

these early season matchups, five referees, so nothing should get
by them at all, Kirk.

for the Cartington Lincoln Pirates, they've got the same cutlers,
but sort of in the invers as. They'll be wearing
the white jerseys tonight. That's what they're in. But they
do have black pants just like the Mohawk Warriors do

zero to one. As you mentioned what that lost to
Tiffan and flip side Cartington. They only won one game

So yes, indeed, Braxton Frish, she is ready to kick
off this ball. So here he goes to Garrison or
to Briggs. Both of them have plenty of speed and

So right up near midfield, Journey Williamson, he's the quarterback

he was able to get. It looks like he got
to the forty eight, so pick up four if that's

like a solid run, just sees running market. The Warriors

We do have a player down reaching for the ankle,
not sure if we already have a muscle cramp or
something more serious. So both teams will go over towards
the sideline and they're not picking up the leg for

Over there, it is a Carrington Lincoln player who is down,
and uh yeah, it is Bryce Hartley and he is
back up to his feet.

Limping severely. Though he already had a wrap around that
lower right leg, so it looks like some type of
injury there. So it's going to be fourth in about
a yard and a half.

you have to snap you go right to Dinny left side. Yeah,
it looks like I don't know if he got it
or not. Now see it's all well, yeah, it's all

I think if it would have been the official from
the fireside, he would have got it. But the official

So my guess is Ben Bogner will get a chance
to go on offense for the first time with the Warriors.

first drive of the game. That's a lot of confidence
in that offense as they stretch it out. Oh yeah,

Bogner last year nineteen touchdowns eleven interceptions. He also added
six more rushing touchdowns to that total, so twenty five
scores in all for Ben Bogner, and he will certainly
be the main man again this year, but he would
surely like to have a lot more help than he
did last year.

Caleb bish and Bogner gets in the Caleb across midfield

But I believe he was ruled down. So that's a
big Matthews Honaker a first down for the Mohawk Warriors. Yeah,
he was ruled down, so he's got that first down
for Mohawk inside the thirty yard line.

Big twenty five yard play. So Bogner connecting on his
first one and good job by Bish there. And he
was one of the leading receivers last season twenty six
receptions last year for eleven yards per and ended up
with a total of three touchdowns. First stand, twenty sixty

So it is a Bogner from the gun, has a snap,
hands off the Canebish and he runs up the middle
and brought down from behind at the twenty yard line
by Hunter Martini for Cardington Lincoln. So nice six yard

You a lot more options when you're able to gain
six seven yards on that first down. Keeps the defense
guessing as we get to the red zone.

Second down and four from the twenty yard line from
the Bogner wayside gets it, hands it off Cayden Bish
and another tough run as he's tackled from behind by
James Bradley. It's the first down for sure across the
fifteen yard line.

you're a first down absolutely, so real strong showing here
on this first drive. The whole team looks over to
the sideline to get the play and they set it up.

the offense and defense showing up for the Warriors early

in the gun, sending out three receivers, one in motion
entertainment quarterback as a snap pop pass over to Hayman,
comes about the thirty yard line, then cuts inside, tries
to get away from Denny, who hangs on, wraps him
up and is able to wait for his teammates to
come in and clean it up, including Christopher.

Speaker 2 (23:55):
Kinsey, the junior. But to see a flag there at
the forty yard line early indication is a hold. I
thought maybe it was linemen too far down the field.
There were a couple of offensive linemen, but that was
such a you know, quick short pass that they could
release from the line very early. So it was a
hold in the secondary.

Well, that's obviously ten yards getting some Mohawk right there.

They do it from the spot of the foul which
they called at the thirty five, so it's marked back
to the twenty five, so it'll be a odd first

And these are things that they do practice so they
know these types of scenarios can happen.

play in first quarter, trying to add to us having
nothing lead to Mohawk Warriors Carrington on te. Quarterback Bogner
has a helme and I snap hands it off wrapped
the middle to cayten Bish runs into one of his
own men, then cuts to the outxide before he is
brought down by Jeremy Williamson near the thirty.

Yeah, he's doing the fine shaw good last week, it
gets calvert, he's doing this thing once again. So it
puts at the second down in ten thirty three the

rolls to the right, looks up a little pump is
he gonna let it go? And he just eats it
as he shoved out a bounce by Kinzie didn't like.

What he saw downfield basically had three receivers stacked on
top of each other. So Hayman was over there along
with Caleb bish and then they had one more receiver
in the pattern and in Klaus. I'm not sure if
they were all supposed to be in that area and

good choice just to eat that one in third and
long or an eleven from the thirty two yard line.

for the Mohawk Warriors. Now they set it down at

We know Bogner has that arm. He did it last season.

remaining in this first order, first and ten forty nine
yard line, Mohawk on their own side of the field,

hands it off Kayden bish and he gets stopped about
a yard game maybe two. Looks like they are marking
cross midfield.

is now just not able to get away from multiple
pirates there, the first to Greedham Fisher Schumann, but then

on Carningtton Bogder looking over towards the sideline, got two

throwing to him the first half of last season before

some of their younger players in, get some of the

things on the Cartington Lincoln side of things, and we'll
see if they go back to the air attack that
helped them to defeat Elgin in week one. And you know,
if they've got to get that protection on the offensive
line first and foremost to give him some time to

throw that ball, you know, and or you know, come
up with some shorter routes that would not take as
long to develop. But basically, the Mohawk defense has given
him no time at all to get anything started back there.
And the defense has done an excellent job as well,
keying on Denny as a runner. So they really haven't

gotten much going on offense at all. So they're just
going to have to go back to the drawing board
and you know, maybe pull out a couple of plays
that they hadn't worked on or that Mohawk hasn't seen
from the first couple of weeks of preseason scrimmages and

that deficit under thirty that's the rule. If you're able

second half and just absolutely nothing doing at all. Journey
Williamson just one touchdown pass that was the lone score

to Denton Garrison. I'm not sure who the receiver was

Journey Williamson. He had a big thirty seven yard pass play.

they were able to force the fumble and then the
big plays down near the goal line at the end

you know, possible ability for Cartington Lincoln to at least
make some kind of effort at a comeback. Turned that
pretty much into a laugher in the second half with
the running clock to two more scores total of fourteen
points with the two point conversion. So that's one thing

Mohawk can work on. I think they were just one
of three on the two point conversion attempts, and they
you know, the kicking game, the extra points they could
work on a little bit too, But other than that,
it was a total whitewash and the final score indicates it.
