Speaker 1 (00:00):
Coach arms are folded on the approach with the right
foot kicks it through. Had this one taken at the
bout from the ten yard line, Smith Heyward dashes through
the middle and gets down across the thirty yard line.
So it's a good field position to start things. All
four the Carrie Ballue Devils with Kyler Bows now the
(00:21):
starting quarterback for Carrie.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
As we mentioned, not a huge stat line from last year,
but Kyler Bows did have some game experience and he
also was able to get some rushing yards last year
three point four yards of Carrie did get one touchdown
via the leg route, and so I will be really
surprised if we don't see a heavy dose of rush
(00:47):
offense here, but we'll see what happens. Getting ready to.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
Go underway first and ten thirty one yard line Tannery
most of the quarterback has the stab goes to Eli
Steam comes in the middle Stub Bulls but able to
get it to the thirty five yard line for a
pickup before Eli Steen. As you talked about, maybe you're
even marking met the thirty six. That's it, so make
give him five yards Eli Steen. That's the thing about
(01:13):
Eli's you know he generally finishes moving forward.
Speaker 2 (01:17):
Absolutely, yeah, And he's not gonna the first hit is
not going to bring Eli Stein down. That's a little
different thing. We saw that little pitch out there. Most
of the time we've seen that power formation. Right now,
it's just a.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
Single tailback second and five thirty six yard line, three
receivers to the left. Quarterback. Bose has it, unquorks of
the arm with the right hand, goes down field looking
for a receiver intil they have a phoenix.
Speaker 3 (01:41):
On the left sideline inside the twenty five yard line,
marking about the twenty three of Hope Well Lowdon Well.
Speaker 1 (01:49):
That answers a lot of questions here early about the
arm of color bows.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
Forty six yards on that reception. The trip phoenix, as
I mentioned in the opening thirty two two yards per
game was his average. And it looks like we've got
a Kerry Blue Devil injured already. I'll have to get
you more. That's Sam Cole coming out. I'm not sure
it looks like he's holding that shoulder.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
First a ten twenty three yard line. They go right
to Belstein and then he pitches out of it and
he gets to his man tenor to the right side
across the twenty yard line, so Brandon Tanner knew that
was coming and able to make it a positive game
to the eighteen yard line.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
What made that play it was an excellent ball fake
to Eli Steen going into the line. Four different defenders
tackled Eli Steen because Steen covers up with that ball
and lowered his head and you can't take a chance
because otherwise he's in for six. So Tanner with a
good five.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
Yard pickup second and five, eighteen yard line in the
red zone. Bow's under center has the snap, hands off
the steam power running. The chieftain's are ready for him
right there as he maybe picked up a yard, So
good defense for Well Loud multiple players in there, including
Scott Turco. Turco is one who has tons of experience
(03:07):
for the chieftains and they're gonna need him a lot.
The five to nine, two hundred and thirty pound junior.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
Well was really nice to get that long pass to
open things up, and that puts the defensive backs on
their heels, opens things up a little more for that
running side.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
Third and three from the sixteen yard high dash bucket
in motion. Quarterback has the shot and snap goes out
to Eli Steen has a little bit of running room
and he's berthing Tordians up us stuff to side. He
gets inside the five yard line, but that is that
Matthew Sondaker a first down for the Carried Blue Devils
about to be for a goal.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
Thirteen yard pick up, longest rush from the scrimmage so far,
twenty yards on three carries, three live stef and I
really like the look of this offense. It's not what
we're used to seeing with that three yards on a
cloud of dust there pitching that ball out and been
very good pitches from bows to steam. Now we got
that power eye formation we're used to for the goal line.
Speaker 1 (04:07):
First a goal from the three quarterback as a snap
goes to the left side and Logan smileley a Summit.
Pardon me, Logan Summit on the run and he doesn't
get into the inZone. Stop Shine.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
Looks like he's down to the one though, got a
couple of tough yards in there. Bounced off one would
be tackler in the backfield and moved it forward.
Speaker 1 (04:29):
So some of getting the carry right there. Short yardage play,
but he's coming out for this play, and we do
see Stone who's.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
In trip Phoenix. A deep back here.
Speaker 1 (04:45):
Lead a yard here, I second down here, go to
Eli Steam. Then let's see he's in rubble through pore
the touchdown. Eli Steam. The first teamer from one season ago,
the only sophomore or to make the offensive first team
in the end ten. Now he's a junior and he's
already got his first touchdown. Brought to you by the
(05:06):
Central Ohio Farmers. Go off.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
Christeen on the one yard run and he picks up
right where he left off. He had fifteen touchdowns last year,
number one this year, so I'll see if he can
eclipse that record he set for himself his personal best
last year.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
Extra point Nathan Geary, Yes it is good. So on
our Wilson Tyre scoreboard it is seven to nothing, Carrie,
So it'll be hopeful allowing ball when you come back.
Eight twenty one to go in the first. So glad
you're with us for Matthews Hondak for a game of
the week, Come magic in ninety five to nine.
Speaker 4 (05:43):
He's Regina Realty.
Speaker 5 (05:47):
It's the name you trust, were your local Teamgina Realty.
Speaker 1 (05:54):
For fine selling. We got more.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
Check us out, Regina ben.

the retina compared to about fifteen percent with normal dilation.
The mission of doctors Matt axe Line, Greg Farrell, Wang Collier,
Jill Danker and Shane Jones is to give their patients

appointment by calling seven four zero three eight seven eight
four one four for Marion or b Cyrus at four
(06:34):

you can find them on the web at Premiere Optometrygroup
dot com.
Speaker 1 (06:47):
High school football matching ninety five nine. The Carrie Blue
Devil's with a seven to zering lead on a one
yard touchdown run Eli st Nathan Gary getting the extra point,
so a twenty one to go in this first quarter
and she but hopeful Lowdin's able to do here. As
we get the kickoff here from Geary and from the
ten yard line, Bradley Martinez to the fifteen, cuts inside twenty,
(07:09):
belt it out to the twenty five and then tackle
near the thirty yard line, multiple Blue Devils in pursuit,
including Bryce Pucket for the Carry Blue Devils. So now
we'll see what Hope well lowdon can do hold offense.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
This is a big question mark. Will the Carry Blue
Devil defense that we're been accustomed to, will they be
able to, you know, come out and show that dominance
that we've seen in years past.
Speaker 1 (07:38):
That's what we're gonna try to see. Absolutely, the fans
they believe so you don't, they believe in them. As
we have Kellen Frankert at the quarterback taking over for
Evan Creaser graduator. So snap back, here comes Frankart right
side all and he's smothered from behind. An excellent defensive
play for Lewis Watkins, the sophomore for CARER.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
Just a one yard pickup on that play and recapping
that last scoring drive sixty nine yards, the big play
the forty six yard pass to Bucket and from Bows
and then one yard plunge to finish it off by
Eli Steen, who was the workhorse on the majority of runs.
(08:23):
Tanner also picked up five hard yards down.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
Near the end zone as we got second down at
nine from the thirty yard line. Record has a snapwayside,
takes a handoff to Martinez, runs around the right side
and is able to spring Ford across the thirty five.
They maybe ark him right there. Maybe his knee was
down right there at the thirty five. Oh, they're giving
him to thirty six. Okay. One official had him at
the thirty five. The other said, no, we're giving him
(08:47):
to thirty six.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
So three yards to go for that first down on
third down.
Speaker 7 (08:51):
There you go.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
Well, that's what it is. From the thirty six yard line.
Got to get to the thirty nine. Four receivers heading out,
three of them on the near side as they're moving
right to left. From our perspective in the booth down
seven to Zhering. First quarter, first drive for the chieftains
high snap, jumps for it and able to hand it
off to Frankart. So that time they went to Jacobe
(09:13):
Yellis as the quarterback in Frankart has a running back
on that one, but not enough. He stopped at the
thirty eight yard line, needed to get to the thirty nine.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
I was able to see game film prior to this match,
and you'll see that quite a bit, especially in the
longer down situations. He may be a little better passer
and excellent runner is Frankert. So really good combination there,
even in the short yard situations and keeps the defense
guessing when you put it in a different quarterback.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
So on the fourth and one they do punt the
ball away Frankart. This one taken at the bounce by
Phoenix and Trip on the move down to thirty thirty
five and then tackled shy of the forty yard line.
Least appeared to be shy of it to me. See
where they spot him. They might give it to him
right there there our excellent return Trip Phoenix. He was
(10:03):
so good last year, wasn't it.
Speaker 2 (10:04):
Absolutely and Case and Sherman very lucky on that play.
He almost got called for an illegal block there. I
was really surprised not to see the hanky come out.
A little bit of restraint by the official. The defender
actually kind of turned his shoulder and but Sherman actually
hit him in the back, but he kind of let up,
so I think the official gave him the benefit of
(10:26):
the doubt on that one. First game for the officials too,
might be a little tough to get that hanky out
of the pocket.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
The new linen, we'll see if it happens, it's gonna happen.
At some point. Yeah, first and ten, forty yard line
headed off to Steve from the quarterback and always buried
right near to line of scrimmage. It looks like he
may have gotten the yard. Nonetheless, a tough yard for
Eli's tea.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
Yeah. Absolutely, It's all gonna be tough over there because
everybody knows he's the big guy back and so they're
gonna be keying on him for people surrounding him voting.
Thomas Daniel and also Will Nutter, and he's both of
those are returning letterman from last year.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
Yeah, Will Nutterer, he's another one who just is so physical.
I mean I remember watching him on the basketball court
playing for coach Jury, and man, he really gets after it.
We see that same mentality here in football. So, second
down at nine from the forty one yard line, Carrett
the ball leading at seven to nothing quarterback and I'm
quicking it bows, Oh it floated too high for ten
(11:30):
or over on the far side near the forty five
yard line. Just you had too much on that one.
Third down.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
Yeah, Bo's eyes got real big on that one because
that looked like it could have been six.
Speaker 1 (11:45):
Yeah, and you know, he definitely saw it. He saw
the play and uh yeah, it's just about getting that
execution down. It got to just give more and more reps.
Oh my gosh. So here we go, third down and
nine forty one yard line, carrying our own territory, leading
at seven to nothing, but five twenty two to go
in the first quarter. From the gun, Bows has a
snap waist high rolls to the right pass on the
(12:07):
near side incomplete looking for Bryce's bucket, falls down trying
to get to that ball.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
That would not have been enough for the first down.
They needed to get up to the fifty yard line.
That was about the forty seven where he was leaning
out of bounds for it. Even if he caught it,
he had no chance to get the first down on
that one. So looks like they'll be punting it away.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
It's a good idea. They'll mess around. Got a seven
to nothing leads. So here comes the pun and over
in tenor and approaching on the ketch. No fair catch.
Called call it Tulio. He challenged him, and then he
got decked immediately by Jason Kramer. No pardon me, Brady Atkins.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
Dalton Roberts also helping on that one sophomore five eleven
hundred and fifty pound reserve quarter cornerback and an excellent
punt by Tanner. He only averaged twenty yards a kick
last year, but that was much much more than that.
Very close to what we got. Thirty two yards.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
That's what it is. Yes, Seek, he's been working on it.
It's like, yeah, my numbers are going up first to
twenty eight yard line. I hope we'll allowed him with
a trailing seven to nothing for his quarter at Jacobe
Ellis the quarterback this time on the play action rolls
to the right of the pass. This one caught on
the left side by Wyatt Crow at the thirty yard
(13:32):
line and smothered. So very minimal gain on that one
of two yards for the chieftains.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
Crow one of their top receivers, and so you can
look for him to get the ball quite often this year.
And also Kristin Biller and Raylan Martinez. Of course you
always got a watch or where he's at.
Speaker 1 (13:56):
Yeah, yeah, he could break one in an instant, could
tell it at a thirty yard line farside Hash So
they're going this time with Frankert head quarterback, has a snap,
helmet high and takes aft run Bud Gem Snyder's right there,
pulls him down. Great play by Snyder and got some
(14:16):
help there from death Pucket at the end.
Speaker 2 (14:18):
Yeah, absolutely, Snyder wasn't gonna finish him off. Pucket was
right there and wrapped him up through and back.
Speaker 1 (14:25):
It's the ball back to the twenty nine.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
So so far, so good and interesting thing. I think
we were seeing a little bit more of a three
down linemen. I've seen a lot of two down linemen
three or excuse me, four sometimes five linebackers depending on
what you want to call it, or an extra corner
in there. And when we got two down linemen and
four linebackers.
Speaker 1 (14:51):
Right now, third and nine, twenty nine yard line, snap
his back Ellison and quarterback again throws it downfield. It's
high and it's a complete and getting a hand on
then Boston Ridder. Good defensive play for Ridder.
Speaker 2 (15:04):
Yeah, that would have been a heck of a catch
had it been able to be made. But Ridder made
sure of it knocking that one away. Looked like he
was going up to knock a lay up in or
dunk a ball.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
He was up high, sure was Yeah, he's a good
yeng athlete for sure. Blue Double fans excited to see
him out there all right. So brings on four down
in nine to twenty nine yard line and the punt
from Frankert that taking it the thirty six yard line.
Phoenix gets to the forty and then driven back. Nowhere
(15:38):
to go. I wreck on that tackle and then just
a little bit of an entanglement afterwards, But no problem
there as here we go Blue Devils with the ball back.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
Yeah, Phoenix, just a little bit of hesitation there. I'd
like to see him just catch that ball and try
and move forward immediately then make your cut. But uh,
doing a good job holding on to that ball, because
that was a big hit. Kirk.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
Yeah heavn I rick. Yes he Uh good form tackle
for the chieftains, Yes he he knows how to do it.
So from the forty yard line, carry with the ball
first down in ten three twenty seven to go on
the first up that one touchdown under center on the
Maryland Ie. They pitch it back, here's summit go and
tackles back. Uh where they're we're they're spotting that ball
(16:25):
around the seventh loss. I think fifteen that would be
a three yard loss yep thirty seven yard line.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
Eli Benner making that tackle there, and uh, Junior.
Speaker 1 (16:46):
That's what dash Buckett goes back on for Carrie, replacing
Mace Bucket for the Blue Devils as they break the
huddle two fifty to go in this first quarter leading
against seven to nothing.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
Good news. On the sideline, I do see Sam Cole
up and around. He's clapping his hands, So I was
worried he might have dislocated that shoulder if.
Speaker 1 (17:04):
You second at thirteen to zero and fumbled there if
he had possession, and they rule that he did, Eli Steen,
that's a close call. The carry coaches there saying no,
he didn't have possession of the ball. But and you
see coach Merseman, he's showing the bobbling motion. But yeah,
(17:25):
they say he had possession. And that is a premiere
optometry group turnover that goes to Hope well a loud him.
Speaker 2 (17:32):
Yeah. Quite honestly. I know in the NFL they've got
the did he make a football move? And I would
have to say no. That ball came out of there
so quickly. It didn't really look like he even got
a step forward. Once he tried to turn around, he
was met by the defender and Eli Stein a rare fumble.
I think he only had one last year that I recall.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
First of ten forty one yard line as Hipuel goes
to Martinez and tackle for behind logan Summit five ten
sophomored someone making a nice play for carry.
Speaker 2 (18:06):
Yeah, Dash Pucket clearing out the lineman so he could
make that play. So Puckett always seems to be around
that ball when you talk about somebody that has a
nose for a ball. The definition you got Dash Pucket's
picture in the dictionary.
Speaker 1 (18:21):
There you go.
Speaker 2 (18:22):
I'm sorry on the Google. Yah. I have to get
with the times here, Kirk.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
It can't be both. I mean, you know some people
still read the dictionary.
Speaker 2 (18:33):
Yeah, but Dash wasn't born then, Just kidding.
Speaker 1 (18:37):
Alright. As we get a second down of twelve forty
three yard line in carry territories, hope, well loud nope, man, game,
Yes it is.
Speaker 2 (18:45):
The shot clock expired.
Speaker 1 (18:46):
Oh wait, that's a different sport, similar effect in this
case losing five yards.
Speaker 2 (18:53):
It's going to be second and seventeen.
Speaker 1 (18:55):
After all that, those are the things that coach College
Julio and the staff do drill on making sure that
you have that time management and focus. But it is
week one, he said he was excited to see how
they're going to handle this environment. Down steven nothing holding
(19:15):
her own one thirty to go in this first quarter,
he's seventeen yards here in the quarterback at list downfield
against double covered all high pointing in his college Tulio
making the crab for Hope Well Loud and inside the
twenty yard line. Looks like he's at the sixteen.
Speaker 2 (19:34):
Right, absolutely, yeah, wow, one heck of a play. So
thirty two yard pickup. We've seen a couple of long
passes and that's obviously the biggest play from scrimmage for
the Hope Well Loud.
Speaker 1 (19:46):
And chieftains Jack Colla Trulia with an excellent acrobatic grab
over on the far side, so they set up the
ball of the far side hash. They're in the red
zone first and ten sixteen year yard line. Final men
at first quarter, trying to tie this game if they can,
and they go back to Frankert to quarterback find finale. He
(20:07):
runs up the middle with some space and he gets
drilled near the five yard line.
Speaker 2 (20:14):
So it looks like enough for another Matthews hondaak you'ra
first down. If it is, it'll be first in goal
from the five, and they have dropped the chain game
equipment over there. So it is first and goal with
forty seconds left in the first quarter and the lead
for the Kerry Blue Devils in jeopardy. Now it's seven
to nothing at the moment.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
Let's see if they handle this first and goal from
the five. Yes, the quarterback Frank Heard runs to the
right side Blue Devils, they jump on top of them
and prevent him from getting into the end zone. So
stop around the two yard line with fourteen seconds to go,
(20:55):
see if they just let those seconds tick down. Yeah,
there are no urgency right there, so we are. We're
got to close out the first quarter, all right. So
on our Wilson Tire scoreboard, it's Carrie seven Hope well
loudon zero but threatening to get some points. We'll be
(21:16):
back forward to start of the second quarter. Glad you're
with us for Matthews Hondakra Game of the Week, it's

Speaker 1 (22:27):
High school football Magic ninety five nine. Here we are
starting off the second quarter and hopeful a loud got
the ball just at the doorstep of the end zone,
trying to tie this game, and they're going directly to
Brelan Martinez and here he comes crashing through and he's
in for the touchdown, two yard score for Brilin Martinez,
(22:50):
the senior. They're a point away from getting this game tied.
Touchdown brought to you by the Central Ohio Farmers.
Speaker 2 (22:56):
Go off. Yeah, no, uh.
Speaker 1 (23:02):
Question.
Speaker 2 (23:03):
There interesting defense, only three down linemen and they pretty
much had the field spread and just let Martinez picked
his way through the open areas. Good job by the
Hope Well Louden offensive line.
Speaker 1 (23:16):
It is Martinez to go for the point after colle
it truly on the hold. It's a good one. The
kick us up with the right foot and it is through.
So Hope Well Loudin has tied the game. On our
Wilson Tire scoreboard, it's Hope Well loud and seven joining Kerrie,
which also has seventh still in the first five seconds
of the second quartex forre break. Bring you back for

Can you roll in company.
Speaker 1 (24:23):
High school football magic? In ninety five nine here at
Carrie where the Blue Dipples gave up a turnover and
then gave up a score early in the second quarter
on a two yard dad from Brilan Martinez. See the
Blue Divils can find a way to get them back
and get that lead back good drive.
Speaker 2 (24:45):
Big play was the thirty two yard pass play to
Jack Colin Trulio, who went up high and made an
acrobatic catch to get them into scoring territory.
Speaker 1 (24:58):
Catch made at the thirty As we come on the
near side, he gets across the thirty thirty five yard
line and dropped at the forty yard line. Lucas Smith
Hayward for the carry Blue Devils, So good field position
for carrot.
Speaker 2 (25:13):
Yeah, Lucas Smith Hayward. He took that one on the run,
so he was pretty much at full speed by the
time he caught that moving up on ball. So very
nice run getting it all the way out to the forty.
You think he got about thirty two yards on that return.
Very nice or twenty two rather from the eighteen.
Speaker 1 (25:33):
On Mike count. Yeah, this is the third time that
carry's starting a drive at the forty yep. Absolutely so
in motion it's tenor and from the pistol. Look, Bows
has it, hands it off, Eli Steen. Y're grabbing him
from behind his Dean's able to pick up five for
the carry Blue Devils, Well I thought he did. They
(25:54):
may be backing him up nip. Yeah, they give him
four extend to the forty four yard line. Is all
where his knee went down.
Speaker 2 (26:05):
Steen able to get the one yard touchdown run in
the first quarter to be the first score of the game.
We're tied at seven, just underway here in second quarter action.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
So it is Bow's under center for carry and he
goes right back to Stean, rumbles out the middle, cross
midfield and is able to get that Matthews hot acker
first down to the forty nine yard line across midfield.
So Eli Steen and Yeah, he just keeps punishing him
and after a while a number of defenders they just
get tired of hitting them.
Speaker 2 (26:36):
Yeah, he is just one of those runners that you
just cannot shy away from. You got to try to
hit him with more than one person if you can
at a time because he is not going to go
down on that first hit.
Speaker 1 (26:50):
First, the ten forty nine yard line carry blue doubles
score tied at seven to three receivers to the right
side of the formation. Bows has a snap and then
fakes it. Then wep, he gets sandwiched Scott Turkoll and
will Nutter for Hopewell Louden. So loss of two yards there.
Back to Carrie's forty nine yard time.
Speaker 2 (27:09):
I'm not sure it might have been a little confusion there.
It looked like unless it was designed as like a
miniature quarterback delay draw type play. I thought maybe he
was expecting that Steen was gonna take that. It just
looked a little bit odd either way. Loss of two
and second.
Speaker 1 (27:26):
And twelve second, twelve and forty nine yard line carries
own territory working back Bows as a nav goes off
to Steen, maneuver's to the left side, and Steen's able
to get across the forty five yard line in Hopewell
Louden territories and mark him at the forty three seven.
Speaker 2 (27:43):
Carries forty three yards and they need four more to
get that first down on this third down play.
Speaker 1 (27:53):
Yeah, that's what coach Mersman said. They are not going
to abandon the run at any point. That's the bread
and butter, and Stein's so good at that. Yes. So ever,
we go third down and four back to the Maryland
I and then fake the handoff. Bows tries to get
it himself and he's stopped at the forty yard line,
so a yard shaw for Kyler Bows.
Speaker 2 (28:15):
Probably a yard and a half. They mark it about
a football and a half away from the forty, so
a yard and a half maybe maybe close to two,
because that's it's hard to see. It looks like, yeah,
they'll have to get it just past the thirty nine
yard line to get a first down, so definitely short yardage.
And this is what we're used to seeing out of
(28:36):
coach Merchman. Fourth in short, they're going for it, especially
in the opponent's.
Speaker 1 (28:40):
Territory inside the near half. Quarterback and snap goes to
Eli Steen in a hard run. The yes, he's got
enough other than Matthew's hondaker first down for sure, thirty
eight yard line. Looks like we're they're marking that football,
so Eli Steen And that's the thing. A part of
it is just knowing what you need, and he knows
(29:02):
where to go. Yeah, so you get enough and then
hey we live for some board downs.
Speaker 2 (29:09):
Yeah, eli Stein knows where to go north and south,
in this case north.
Speaker 1 (29:13):
First ten thirty eight yard line, Yes, sir, so, score
tied at seven. In the second Quarterbows has the snap
or another with the pressure to pass down field for
Phoenix sending completed. He was jumping for that ball near
the fifteen yard line and Luca sing Gregory on t
four the chieftains.
Speaker 2 (29:33):
Yeah, san Gregory jumped up and so did the receiver,
but well behind both of them, so nobody with a
real chance at that one. So Bose hit one long
one to start the game, and since that time he's
come up empty. But let's see what he can do
here on second.
Speaker 1 (29:50):
And long, it looks like yeah, yeah, second attend for
thirty eight yard line under center, there's collar, Bows has
the snap, takes a handoff man. Here he goes running,
fakes a pinch, comes up the middle, spun around, still
up before hitting brought down by Turco from behind near
the thirty yard line. So that's where he got. That's
(30:14):
eight yards. We'll see. Now they put him a little
bit shy of the thirty, but that was a heck.
Of an effort there by Bows showing us some real
football smarts out there on that play.
Speaker 2 (30:25):
Yeah, he scared me just a little bit that, but
football was kind of in one arm and kind of
got behind him a little bit as he made a
spin move. But as soon as he started into that move,
then he brought the other hand on top of it,
so able to hold onto the ball. That's the main
thing down.
Speaker 1 (30:40):
There, third and three and hope we'll allowed in territory
to carry Blue Devil's to score tight. His seven quarterback
has a snap, Bows hands it off to the left
side dash Bucket, and he tries to back his way
into additional yardage and stopped at the thirties. So one
yard there for dash Bucket. Yeah, so it brings on
(31:04):
the fourth down. Yes, so to carry Blue Devils the
indication that they are indeed going for it, they need
a couple of yards seven to eight remaining until halftime.
Of course, we'll have our insurance Agency half type show
coming up for a year.
Speaker 2 (31:26):
Like to see Dash Puckett out there on that offense.
He's a heck of a defensive player, but he just
has an eye for what he needs to do.
Speaker 1 (31:33):
Bows with a handoff there to Eli Steen and yes
he got enough for the Matthews Honta Hakira first down,
just enough. Good work there for Eli Steen. He is
putting some punishing hits on as he carries the football, and.
Speaker 2 (31:51):
Real nice job. We talked about that offensive line. I'll
try and watch it a little more closely, but offensive line,
they're holding their own down there and pushing people back
just enough. And that's a real nice play for the
offensive line to help Steen get that first down.
Speaker 1 (32:07):
First of ten, twenty seven yard line and Hope Well
out in territory, carry with it, snap us back pitching
back to Phoenix. So tripped up, was able to break
out of it and then wrapped up by Wyat Crow
at the thirty yard line. So maybe they give him
the twenty nine. We loss of a couple of yards
right there.
Speaker 2 (32:25):
Yeah, he would have lost four or five if he
hadn't made that one little spin and get away from
the first tackler. So I made a little something out
of nothing, but still negative yarded So second and twelve.
Speaker 1 (32:36):
Under six to play until halftime, still tied, had seven
points apiece to carry touchdown. Eli Steen, the Hope Well
a loud and touchdown.
Speaker 2 (32:45):
Brelan Bartitez gotta get Trip Phoenix out in space. That's
where he does his most damage. He's got that big
forty six yard reception in the first half that helps
set up the first touchdown. Jonathan Mershman wants a time out.
Speaker 1 (32:57):
Here, so we'll take that quest for credit Union timeout
with five thirty nine to get out on tail A halftime.
Carrie seven Hope will allowed him self and it's our
Matthew's ONNAKRA High School game of the Week a Magic
ninety five nine and on her radio, Hello.
Speaker 13 (33:12):
And welcome to Matthews Honda and Matthew's Accura side by

Speaker 13 (33:21):
So you're looking for a vehicle that's quiet but has
quick acceleration, Roy pretty impossible to find a vehicle with both.
Not at matthews Honda and Matthew's Acura.
Speaker 1 (33:28):
These are EV's.
Speaker 13 (33:29):
They don't even need gas least New twenty four Honda

Speaker 4 (33:39):
Forty nine a month, five forty nine.
Speaker 13 (33:41):
Let's get me into this new twenty four Honda Prologue
twnty nine a month.
Speaker 4 (33:46):
It's that easy. At Matthew's Honda and Matthew's Acura.
Speaker 13 (33:49):
Side by side in Marion, Matthews Hondaccura dot com.
Speaker 4 (33:52):
Matthews Hondaacura dot com.
Speaker 13 (33:54):
That's Matthews with one t so much more in one location.
Speaker 14 (33:58):
Alisa thirty six months, thirty ninety five down game A

a reason possible. Color up charge, mut qualify for least
loyalty or conquest cash and seventy five hundred tax credit
actress seventy fi hundred miles per year, ten thousand miles
per year on Honda must qualify for Level one credit
xspires eight thirty one, twenty four see dealer for the tails.
Speaker 1 (34:15):
We get a second down twelve and twenty nine. A
pitch play over the dash bucket. Then he made it
interesting is he was stopped near the UH twenty yard line.
Looks that they've marked it at the twenty two. Actually, yeah,
that was one It took a long.
Speaker 2 (34:34):
Time for that play to develop, Kirk, but they got
some positive yardage out of it, and so they cut
the deficit from twelve down to five, so a little
better than half way there. And of course this is
typically John Mershman four down territory. See if they'll need
it or if they can pick it up here on
this third down.
Speaker 1 (34:51):
Play, third and five, twenty two yard live score tied
at seven. Heading toward halftime, Carrie wants to get the
lead back to Eli Steen right in his belly runs
right side. Just not much room right there is hope Well,
Loudin's in position to pick up of two yards firsteen
is word four forty five to go until halftime.
Speaker 2 (35:13):
Down to the twenty. They'll need to get it just
inside that seventeen yard line. It appears.
Speaker 1 (35:22):
There's so many coming into this game. He's like, yeah,
this is going to be a tough game both ways.
Speaker 2 (35:27):
Oh yeah, this is a nice stool. Yeah, nice way
to start off your game. For your program, you want
a roadmap to find out where you need to go.
This will help you.
Speaker 1 (35:36):
Fourth and three fronty, let's see is both pitched it
back Phoenix right up the middle and then driven back
near the twenty so that is not enough, so Hope
Well well out it able to get it done on defense.
Good job for the chieftains, so they get the ball back.
(35:58):
Score still tied at seven. It's four eight remaining until
the break.
Speaker 2 (36:05):
A couple of yard loss for Phoenix and they seem
to have Phoenix's number there. I don't know if they
picked up something on films or what, but again, you know,
it's very early in the season. Obviously first half action,
but I'd like to see him get out in space
a little more, not roughing it up in the middle
so much.
Speaker 1 (36:24):
First to ten, twenty yard line, Hope alone with the
ball pass out to the left side, Martinez shows the
moves across the thirty and stopped inside the thirty five
yard line, but does get the Matthews how to act
we first down so fast he is.
Speaker 2 (36:39):
Real nice job blocking out there by Braydon Brickman for that,
Hope Well Louden offense, he's the tight end and he
did a heck of a job. He kept Logan's summit.
He would have been able to come up and make
a nice play on that one, but instead they get
the first down. Good job blocking by your receiving corps.
Speaker 1 (36:57):
Casey Sherman able to get back there from behind to
get the tackle to prevent it from being in an
even longer game for Hope Well louden there so first
of ten thirty three yard line score tight at seven,
three thirty four to go until the break. Quarterback Frankurt
has a helme high snap and brought down by Mace
Pucket for carries. So Mace Pucket getting the opportunity this
(37:19):
season as a sophomore, and he's showing up.
Speaker 2 (37:22):
Well, yeah, he's got a lot of fire out there.
Came up clapping those hands, excited to get that action.
Get that jersey dirty, get some grass staines.
Speaker 1 (37:35):
As we head toward the three minute mark, still tied
at seven, Hope Well louding with the football at their
own thirty two yard line. They go with the long huddle.
See if they're gonna get it a timeout yep, so
press Federal Credit Union time out, Hope Well a loud
(37:57):
in two forty nine to go and tell halftime it's
carry seven Hope Well out and seven for Matthew South
akraa high school football game of the week, go on
magic at ninety five to dos.

Went up with one hand, was able to get a
hand on it, but just could not haul it in
before the ground came crashing up on him.
Speaker 1 (39:44):
Third down and eleven, thirty two yard line. Hope will
aloud them with the ball and the quarterback, it's Jakobe
Ellis's time, and it passes over the middle and it
is caught by Matt Wimer and he stopped at the
thirty nine I should say, whyman.
Speaker 2 (40:03):
Seven yard pick up forty one yards for Frankart on
five passes?
Speaker 1 (40:12):
Yeah, that combination. Yeah, Yeah, they're figuring some things out
this season. Yeah, after the graduation, have increased a couple
of quarterbacks out here doing what they got to do.
For Hopewell, Loudon's we head towards the two minute mark
of this second quarter, getting close to halftime, still tied,
had seven, so it's a fourth down. Looks like they're
getting ready to punt on the fourth and thirty nine.
(40:36):
That's for carry is Phoenix Then well what happened there? Oh? Yes,
they get the time out on time time out, I'm
not sure yep, So Hope well Loudon getting the time out.
Brought to you by the Press Federal Credit Union just
keep it here this time with one fifty one to
(40:56):
go until halftime. And obviously we knew coming into the
game defense was going to be a big part of it.
It is certainly a physical and yeah, the defense is
not allowing for the offenses to get away with really
any mistakes. And right now, yeah, this is going to
be an excellent opportunity for the carry Blue Devils here
(41:19):
because there's still time.
Speaker 2 (41:20):
Yeah, absolutely, and minute fifty one to go. Score tied
at seven, but definitely something that Carrie is looking forward
to get their first two minute drill out of the
way very first game and get things rolling.
Speaker 1 (41:36):
Here, all right, So yeah, we'll try to get the
pun off this time.
Speaker 2 (41:45):
Got a handed to the crowd. I wanted to mention
earlier about ninety eight percent of the stands are full
on this side and people all around the track throughout
the entire stadium.
Speaker 1 (41:57):
All right, So there comes backer with a pun the
right foot, nice one twists and stops right at the
thirty yard line over there, Mason and Ryan Hart to
stop that ball for the chieftains was carry football one
forty two to go until a halftime. They like to
get the lead back if possible, yep.
Speaker 2 (42:19):
Eli Stein's been the workhorse here. Fifty yards on ten carries,
so a little under his seven yard per carry average
last year. But you got a stalwart defense there and
a brand new offensive line for Kerry. But I really
think the offensive line they're doing a pretty decent job overall.
I like what I'm seeing out there.
Speaker 1 (42:37):
For Game one, first ad ten thirty yard line for
Carrie one forty two to go until a halftime score
tight at Steven under center color Bows. That's a snap
drops back downfield under pressure from Nudder and the pass
picked off by Colin Tulio as he got the inside
position near the thirty five yard line. Bryce Puckett was
(42:59):
trying to go to the outside, but Jack Collin Trulio,
what's there? And that's the second Premiere Optometry group turnover
that the chieftains have been able to secure from care.
Speaker 2 (43:10):
Yeah. Just a real nice play again, Katrulio. You can
tell he is just one whale of an athlete.
Speaker 17 (43:16):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (43:16):
He got a good position.

Speaker 1 (43:56):
As we bring you back. Yeah, big play that they
worked to Braylan Martinez for Hope Well Louden and he
runs alled away inside the twenty yard line for the
Kerry Blue Devils with one twenty one remaining until halftime. Yeah,
he's able to break down of a couple of tackles
with spin moves on that. And that's the type of
(44:18):
talent that we know that Brailer Martinez brings to the field.
Speaker 2 (44:22):
Yeah, he made about a twelve yard play into a
fifty yard play on that reception. So excellent job by him.
Speaker 1 (44:29):
In the red zone ball twelve yard line first and
ten Hope Well Louden Kellen Franker, the quarterback has the snap,
runs to the right passes up and it is caught
by why men and he runs close to the D zone.
Speaker 2 (44:44):
I think they did he get in?
Speaker 1 (44:46):
Yep, he did, So Hope Well Loudon has taken the lead.
It is a touchdown brought to you by the Central
Ohio Farmers co op a twelve yard play to Matthew Wyman.
Speaker 2 (45:02):
So Wyman gets the second touchdown that makes it thirteen
to seven. With the extra point by Martinez.
Speaker 1 (45:11):
Pending kick is up for Martinez and it is through. Wow,
So hope Well Lawton able to come up with a
couple of huge plays all our Wilson Tire scoreboard. The
Chieftains are up fourteen to seven on carry one fifteen
to go until heptime. It's Matthew Hontakra High School Football

High school football Magic ninety five nine. Here at Carrie
Well Hope Well Loudam has taken a fourteen a seven
lead on the Blue Devils with one fifteen remaining until
half time at you Wyman with the twelve yards reception,
So here we go on the kickoff from our team
is taking at the twenty yard line for to carry
(47:03):
Blue Devils Logan Summit tries to get away but cannot
get away from Roady Brickman. Florida chieftains good special teams
play for Brickman. So Carrie's got one oh nine to
go until a halftime to try to get this game retie.
Speaker 2 (47:22):
Yeah, how quickly things change. We were looking at one
fifty one and carry, what's excellent field position, looking to
add to seven points that they scored in the first quarter,
but instead the interception and then two huge plays, a
fifty yard pass play and then a second twelve yard
pass play for the touchdown, and with one fifteen to go,
(47:43):
it's they're on the short end of that fourteen to
seven score.
Speaker 1 (47:46):
First and ten twenty eight yard line pitched over to
Eli Steve as he spills across the forty yard line,
gets that Matthew Hondakira first down. They mark him at
the thirty nine. But yeah, now they are looking to
move inside of a minute until halftime, down fourteen to seven.
In motion, his mace Pucket quarterback Bo's as a snappitches
(48:09):
into the left side of he last team cuts through.
Always got a lot of attention as we get a
penalty flag from behind and it's a hold against Kerry.
Speaker 2 (48:19):
I'm not sure who that one is on. They could
have been mace Pucket in the backfield. They had great penetration.
Did the Hope well out in defense on that play
and Steen was probably not going far regardless of the hold,
but that just pushes them back, and of course coach
(48:39):
Catrulio wanting to play the field position battle with just
forty eight seconds to go, time is the biggest enemy.
Speaker 1 (48:47):
There you go. So yeah, it does send them back
to the twenty nine yard line ten yard penalty right there.
Speaker 2 (48:58):
Be really surprised if we see anything too fancy here.
We've got, you know, thirty two seconds to go. And
I'm really confused.
Speaker 1 (49:08):
As to why the clock started there already first and
twenty twenty nine yard list.
Speaker 2 (49:13):
There's a problem there, there's a time out.
Speaker 1 (49:16):
I'm really confused.
Speaker 2 (49:17):
Why did the clock start after a penalty? I don't
think that should have happened.
Speaker 1 (49:24):
I'll try to get that organized to get a quest
Federal Credit Union time out. Yes, so close to halftime here,
as we get ready for a Reinsurance Agency halftime show,
we'll try to work through us some things and get
some elements out to you. Some of the interviews that
we did leading up to this game right now fourteen
(49:47):
two seven, in favor of visiting Hope Well allowed in
the game that we expect it would be really close
than it is.
Speaker 2 (49:55):
Yeah, absolutely, you know, Carrie has done the majority of
their damage in the first two quarters of most of
their games, but of course that was with a very
experienced squad and that's not what we have out there tonight.
But they are doing a good job and it's a
very close game. Anybody's ball game at this point.
Speaker 1 (50:15):
First and twenty twenty nine yard line, twenty three seconds
remaining until halftime. Carry with the ball, treatly get fourteen
to seven in motion is Phoenix a quarterback color Bows
has a snapways side, fakes a handoff, works his way
to the right side, not much there. Multiple chieftains are
behind him to make that tackle, and the clock continues
to move. We're down to fifteen seconds of counting down and.
Speaker 2 (50:36):
Don't need to snatch.
Speaker 1 (50:37):
Might not mess around, yeah, you know, because yeah, it's
only a seven point game right now. So yeah, they're
just going to let the final three seconds picipate and
there it is. It's halftime.
Speaker 2 (50:49):
Yep. The chieftains will start off with the ball in
the second half, but you know, it's still anybody's ball game.
And the defense has been playing pretty well outside of
I would say three big plays that well, four altogether,
two big passes and you've got the touchdown run on
both sides, so and then a second pass for a
(51:13):
touchdown for the chieftains, and that's our Mark fourteen to seven.
Eli Steen scoring the other touchdown in the first quarter,
putting carry on top. But hope we'll Loudin's been able
to turn things around. We'll see if Kerry can turn
things around come the second half.
Speaker 1 (51:28):
Certainly will so we'll step away momentarily, we'll come back
for our Reinsurance Agency halftime show. Looking forward to bringing
you that. So on our Wilson Tires scoreboard at the half,
it is Hope well Lelton fourteen Carrie seven. So glad
to'r with us for our Matthew hont Aker a high
school football game of the Week Week one, Magic ninety
(51:50):
five to nine. That's iHeartRadio.
Speaker 11 (51:54):
This is the Read Insurance halftime Show and Magic ninety
five to nine.
Speaker 5 (52:06):
Come discovering the Boss and Cheese Regina Real, it's the
name you trust.
Speaker 1 (52:14):
Where you're going to seven and on the approach Martinez
at the twenty yard line, tunder twenty five to other
steps towards a thirty gets across fights the way all
the way across the forty yard line.
Speaker 2 (52:28):
Actually, he's where he's short, just short of the forty.
But the pile went past the forty, so I think
they got about the thirty nine. We'll see where they
actually set it down.
Speaker 1 (52:38):
That's where it looks like they are setting the ball. Well,
that's where the sticks on the ball's not down yet, but.
Speaker 2 (52:46):
That's because they had to switch balls from the carry
side that kicked it off to the ball that hope
Well aloud and wanted from their sideline. So there we go.
Speaker 1 (52:54):
It takes a moment first and ten from the thirty
nine yard line, first play of the second half, hop
Well loudon with a fourteen the seventh lead at Carrie
and the quarterback Kellen Frankart from the gun receivers the
right of the formation. Frankart has the snap and does
hand off to Martinez up but wrapped up immediately by
(53:18):
the carry blue depos and maybe for a loss there.
Speaker 2 (53:22):
Yeah, a couple of yard loss and they came out
fired up. Man. I everybody was in on that tackle.
They had four or five guys defensive linemen flying in there,
and it looked like they had three down linemen. I'll
watch a little more carefully on this one to see
if that's what they're running with or they're still going
with that two down lineman with four linebackers and blitzing one.
Speaker 1 (53:44):
All right, makes a second down and the living from
the thirty eight yard line. Hope Well Loudon with the
football of fourteen, the seventh first draft of this third
quarter quarterback has a snap. Ellis this time passes to
the left side. It is complete Collin Julio and he
spun out about to right ed midfield or the Matthews
Hondaker at first down, Florida chieftens.
Speaker 2 (54:06):
Yeah, we'll give him thirteen yards on that pass play.
And I'll tell you what. He looks good out there.
He really does.
Speaker 1 (54:13):
Yeah, he's got an arm, Yeah, no doubt and h
Yeah called Julio. Just what hands a young man has?
Speaker 2 (54:21):
Yeah, absolutely, and U he's impressive.
Speaker 7 (54:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (54:28):
So here we go first and ten from midfield. Hope
Well Loudon with the football at fourteen to seven. Wanted
the motion from the quarterback has a snap, Franker takes off,
tucks it their summit, who grabs him and brings him
down to the turf right at the line of scrimmage.
So no game. Some help from his teammates, including Mace Puckett,
(54:50):
but clearly Logan Summit's the one who got that initials ton.
Speaker 2 (54:54):
Yeah, good job by those defensive linemen. Took away all
the blockers, let him slide right in there. Good job
by that defensive line, and it is a three to
four now they're running. In the first half, we saw
mainly a two to four with an extra defensive back,
but they're trying to get a little more pressure up front.
They weren't getting any pressure at all in that first half.
So a little change here in the second half for
(55:15):
this carry Blue Devil defense. If they can switch things.
Speaker 1 (55:18):
Up second and ten midfield, hope we'll allowed and drift
to the right quarterback in the gun. It's Frankart has
this snap, rolls to the right, has plenty of time,
throws it downfield and it is caught at the forty
five and brings it across the forty yard line, still
fighting through multiple carry tacklers. That is going to be
good enough for the Matthews Honda akera first down for
(55:39):
Matthew Wyman. Really strong effort there for Wyman and hope
we'll allowd and definitely starting to cook.
Speaker 2 (55:48):
Yeah, they've obviously seen some things and even made some adjustments,
even though Kerry made some adjustments at the half. They
definitely think that they're way to success in this ball
game is going to be through the air, and I
can't say that I disagree.
Speaker 1 (56:05):
So first and ten, thirty seven yard line and carry territory,
Hopeell louding with the ball, trying to add to that
fourteen the seventh lead. Frankart has a snap next Andolf
Martinez cuts to the left up. Blue Devils are right there.
Really know where to go, losing the yard there, it
appears that time Frankart.
Speaker 2 (56:25):
Yeah, they've done a really good job on Martinez. Everybody
knows that. You know, if they're gonna have a good
ground game, it's going to be through Martinez, and he
really hasn't been able to get uncorked on the ground,
so they've done a good job.
Speaker 1 (56:39):
Yeah, definitely keying on him. Yeah, that's a huge fact.
I think everybody plays Hope well loud in this season.
That's gonna be the case. If you could do it,
you know what you gotta do.
Speaker 2 (56:50):
So that's the whole other story. And so far, the
Blue Devils are doing a good job.
Speaker 1 (56:54):
On the run.
Speaker 2 (56:54):
They need to get some something else going. As R
Kobe passes second and eleven as the pass from elis
over the middle and that is caught right at the
twenty yard line by white Crow. So another Matthew tow
Naker first down for the Hope will loudon Chieftains. Yeah,
this is a good looking drive and uh yeah, if
(57:16):
Carrie can somehow prevent the Chieftains from scoring on this drive,
that'll be a job well done. But yeah, they are
figuring some things out. So here we go a red
zone first ten ten, twenty yard line. Hope will loudon
up the touchdown quarterback it is Ellis steps up to
throw on the far side, getting in the middle.
Speaker 1 (57:38):
Lots of an interception, it sure is from trip Phoenix, well
right at the door step of the end zone. To
call of Tulio wants the intended target, but Trip Phoenix
gets the interception for Carrie. The first premiere Optometry Group
turnover in favor of the Blue Doubles.
Speaker 2 (57:55):
Yeah, we've seen a lot of athletic plays by Katrulio,
while Trip Phoenix just took one out of his book,
ripped that page, and ripped the ball right away from him.
He had to fight it away from Petrulio. What a
play by Trip Phoenix.
Speaker 1 (58:10):
That's what the Blue Devils were wanting and eating and
hoping for. Get that turnover, so spot it at the twenties.
So here we go first and ten carry, trailing fourteen
to seven with a twenty three to go in the
third quarter in motion now and it all He lie
(58:33):
and let's see, looks like Carrie's on talking down. Yeah,
so maybe a game of a yard If anything.
Speaker 2 (58:44):
The pile was really huge. I didn't see was that steam?
Speaker 1 (58:47):
He lie? Yes, he lot steen.
Speaker 2 (58:50):
I'm not sure if he got his own fumble back
on that one. I saw about six bean bags going
there all at once.
Speaker 1 (58:59):
YEA a lot of body in there. Uh yeah.
Speaker 2 (59:02):
So after all said and done, a one yard gain fristeen,
he's up to fifty yards. He was at fifty and
last several downs. They've had his number that time.
Speaker 1 (59:14):
Fortunately held on second and nine, twenty one yard line,
hand off to Tanner and he gets drilled by multiple
chieftains in there, including will Nutter. And we've told his
number a number of times tonight and over the years
with Hopewell A Louden. So he's still getting it done.
Mason Reinhart also in that tackle for Hopewell Loudon stopped
(59:36):
at the twenty four yard line, so I was gonna
set up a thirty six.
Speaker 2 (59:40):
Tanner didn't have a ton of carries last year, but
he did average seven and a half yards, so.
Speaker 1 (59:43):
He is a capable back. Here might stop here tonight,
third and six, twenty four yard line. Here at the
ball in their own territory, down fourteen to seven, snap
back to the right side, bows about oh get picked off.
It's intercepted by Daniel Thomas. Daniel lineback, getting in great
position and making the play for Hope Well Louden, and
(01:00:05):
that is the third Premiere Optometry group turnover that the
Chieftains have been able to come up with against carry.
Speaker 2 (01:00:13):
Yeah, I'm not sure where that ball was intended, but nonetheless,
Daniel definitely had the bead on. It looked like he
was really the only one with a chance for it.
Steen was upfront blocking and I really didn't see another
receiver in the area over there for the Blue Devils,
so he was throwing it right at the sideline, so
maybe some confusion there. It was right the past was
(01:00:34):
to the sideline where the interception was made and a
three yard return for.
Speaker 1 (01:00:39):
Dan at the twenty five yard line and Carrie territory
first hand ten for Hope Will Loudon as a quarterback, No,
actually bray the Martinez directly step into him, goes to
the right sign twenty yard line in toward the fifteen
and knocked out of bounds near the tenths. He where
they spot him. It might be marking at the eleven
yard line, real close to that, but regardless, that is
(01:00:59):
going to be a think he's on the agra first
down for Hope Well Louden, Yeah, that's.
Speaker 2 (01:01:03):
I think his longest gain from scrimmage, and I think
both of his gains where he's had some good positive
yardage were those direct stamps.
Speaker 1 (01:01:14):
It's the ball at the twelve yard line first and
ten chieftains in the red zone. They want some more points.
Speaker 2 (01:01:28):
Watch Catrulio here in the bottom of the offensive set
and they directed to Martinez im and he usually runs
out of that end the Blue Devils and knew it
getting him down to the turf Carter Bay.
Speaker 1 (01:01:41):
A nice play for the Blue Devils.
Speaker 2 (01:01:45):
Basically got back to the line of scrimmage, but nice
for them to figure that out because, like I said,
his biggest plays have come from that set. No gainer there.
He's only got twenty six yards on six carries. That's
well under his average from last season.
Speaker 1 (01:02:00):
Fuck well, well we're at six fifteen to go with
the third quarter. Hope we're allowed with the ball, second
down and ten twelve yard lining carried territory, threatening to
score again. Lead again, fourteen to seven. Snaps back to
the quarterback, Frank Kurjepp and the Blue Devils are all
over them.
Speaker 2 (01:02:20):
Yeah, that pressure up front, it's one of the offensive
linemen got in there. That's Red Blankenmeier and he's coming
in from that right side on the defense, right defensive
end and putting that pressure on. Good job by the
nose guard up front. Two very nice play by Gavin
(01:02:41):
Snyder to help spring his teammate in there and get
that big tackle for loss. That's what Carry's been known
for throughout the years is they get a lot of
tackles for loss, set up a lot of long yarded situations.
Speaker 1 (01:02:51):
This is third and thirteen, third, thirteen from the fifteen
yard line. So they've got Jacobe Yellis is out there
as a quarterback. He's got the snap just tied drops
as a pressure breakdown passes over the middle come by
Frankurt and he gets cut down near the ten, maybe
spotting him at the eleven. So certainly not enough for
(01:03:12):
a first there for Hope.
Speaker 2 (01:03:13):
Well louted Brandon Tanner coming up nicely, and he cut
the legs right out from under him, making sure he
wasn't gonna get away. Good defensive play, and they're gonna
looks like they're going for it on fourth down. Not
gonna try Martinez leg here from what would probably be
close to thirty yard kick about twenty twenty eight.
Speaker 1 (01:03:33):
I guess yeah, fourth and nine on the eleven long field.
It'll be if they don't convert, but we're gonna get
a crest Federal Credit Union time. I will take the
short break four thirty nine to go, third quarter, fourteen
to seven. Hope we'll let him with the lead. Trying
to add to it on our Matthews Undiaker Game of
the Week come Magic ninety five nine.

Speaker 1 (01:05:00):
If we bring you back. We did have just a
pass play that was incomplete at the end zone for
Hope Well Loud and they were trying to add to
a fourteen to seven lead. Didn't work out. Turnover run
down to Carrie with the football logan summit with the
big defensive play there.
Speaker 2 (01:05:18):
He knocked that ball away from the would be receiver
and kept Carrie's hopes alive, keeping this thing close. So
just a seven point ball game, but they've got a
long field to go here.
Speaker 1 (01:05:28):
Church from the eleven yard line, Yes, verse ten, and
they go with handoff two Steam scrambles forward across the
fifteen yard line. Eli Steen. Yeah, they're just going to
continue to work him, and he wants that type of work,
and usually as the game goes along, it just becomes
more and more effective for Carrie.
Speaker 2 (01:05:48):
Yeah. Eli Steen has a way of wearing out defenses.
And a little different story this year with that. You know,
four out of or five out of six offensive linemen
being new if you want to include the tight end
into that equation. So yeah, there's only five offensive linemen,
but tight end at least in this offense does a
(01:06:10):
lot of blocking.
Speaker 1 (01:06:11):
Second and five from the sixteen yard line, snaps back,
going right back to the ground with Eli Steen to
the left side, and Steen stopped at the twenty yard line, very.
Speaker 2 (01:06:22):
Close to a first down, but I don't think he
got it.
Speaker 1 (01:06:25):
Yeah, I gotta get to the twenty one for the
first on this one. Did not get it. So be
third and short, just needing a yard of blue devils
trailing at fourteen two seven three twenty to go in
the third quarter here at home Week one, Let's see
(01:06:50):
the quarter back Cayler Bills from the gun hand it
off to the left side. Oh, that could be a
stop for Hope Well Loudan.
Speaker 3 (01:06:56):
No, he runs all he's been away, whateffort.
Speaker 1 (01:07:02):
Oh my goodness. They had them stopped and then he
just kept on running and spinning around and he cut himself.
Matthews Honaker first down. I don't know how he did that.
Speaker 2 (01:07:11):
Yeah, the legs never stopped moving. They had him turned
all the way around backwards. He was facing his own
end zone, kept the legs moving, kept the pile somehow
was moving a little bit forward so they couldn't quite
blow the whistle. And then he spun out of there
and got enough for the first down. That right there,
that was the run of the ball game. That showed
a lot of heart.
Speaker 1 (01:07:31):
We're gonna remember that with no question about it. So
first in ten twenty six yard line, carry with the
bole and try to get fourteen a seven. Then the
third quarterback collar bos that's a snap and corks into
nearside caff my NAT's pucket and he's brought down shy
of the thirty five yard line. And that's some good
defense for Eli Binner for the chieftains.
Speaker 2 (01:07:52):
Now, statistically, you'll look at that and say negative one yards.
But mentally for Kyler bows that it's huge because he
hadn't completed a pass since the very first pass he
threw in this ball game. Before that one, I thought
we just had lightning. They turned on the lights in
the booth. That never happens. I was like, how do
(01:08:13):
we have lightning? There's not a cloud in this guy.
Actually there are some clouds, but not those kinds.
Speaker 1 (01:08:17):
Second, and he lived in twenty five yard line goes.
We go to the Trip Phoenix and he finds the
mob to the outside midfield and College Julio is able
to make the tackle to stop what could have been
a touchdown run, but instead it's a Matthews hondak. We
first down to the forty nine yard line across midfield
for Trip Phoenix and the Kerry Blue temples.
Speaker 2 (01:08:38):
I'm glad coach Merchman finally listened to me and got
Trip Phoenix out in space. Man as he fast twenty
six yards on that play.
Speaker 1 (01:08:49):
The Phoenix he's a sophomore. Yeah, he got some time
last year and he's getting more now. So first and ten,
forty nine yard line Wherebecasa snapball and Steen after the
handoff just gets tripped up and not really anything doing
right there. Looked like he got stopped at the line
of scrimmage. Oh maybe they give me a yard. Okay,
well it gets one yard out of it, so still
(01:09:11):
a positive game. Yeah, one yard free eistein right there
to the forty eight yard law. One to go in
this third quarter.
Speaker 2 (01:09:24):
Yeah, it's still not coming easy free listein eighteen carries
sixty seven yards. Things have kind of slowed down, especially
near the end of that second quarter. But let's see
if he can pick things up here.
Speaker 1 (01:09:34):
See he's able to retain the possession, but not able
to pick up anything there. Final minute of the third
quarter and it'll be third and long.
Speaker 2 (01:09:51):
Had about a two yard gain, but the ball came
out he had to dive back for it, so I
didn't I just saw the ball. No, the officials, I
don't know if they even saw that it came out.
I didn't see any of the beanbags come down like
we normally do.
Speaker 1 (01:10:05):
All brings. On third and nine from the forty eight
yard line, thirty four seconds left in the third carry
with the ball traily get fourteen to nine at home,
snap his back to color bells and fakes the handoff,
works the left and pitches it at the last moment
to Brandon Tenner, and Tanner is able to spring forward
toward the thirty five yard line for Matthews Hondakra first down.
(01:10:25):
Well done for the carry, Blue Devils, leaving twenty two seconds.
Speaker 2 (01:10:29):
We got an injury on the field, big number seventy two.
That's Aiden e Wold, and Aiden is hurt. Six one,
two hundred and thirty five pound junior. He's gonna have
to come out. I'm not sure if he's got an
ankle or a knee going on. He's basically stuck in place.
He's standing up, but they're gonna need to have a
couple of people come over and help him off the field.
(01:10:51):
He's got a band around his left chaff. That was
you know, he's been there the whole game. But yeah,
he's holding that ankle. Real funny. I hope he's all right.
Speaker 1 (01:11:03):
Certainly do.
Speaker 7 (01:11:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:11:04):
The junior lineman nade N e Walldah, such a valuable
member of that defensive front and yeah, yeah, he's struggling
a bit to get back. Yeah, I hope he'll be okay,
but obviously he's gonna have to sit out for a
little bit.
Speaker 2 (01:11:23):
Come back to that last play. Excellent job by the
quarterback with hanging on to that ball.
Speaker 1 (01:11:30):
Thurst and tent thirty seven yard line. Kyler Bose hands
it off to Summit who gets up inded near the
thirty five yard line with on the five seconds left
in this third quarter. So I think they're just gonna
run it out, and they do. So that'll do it
for three quarters of play and honormost entire scoreboard. It
(01:11:53):
is hope we'll lop fourteen Carrie seven. We'll be back
for the fourth quarter for Matthews hont Akra High School
for the week, Cat Magic ninety five n and Dieheart Radio.

Speaker 1 (01:13:07):
So as we get that play from the thirty five
yard line looks like up to maybe the thirty on
that road.
Speaker 2 (01:13:21):
And I didn't see who the carrier was on that one.
Speaker 1 (01:13:24):
You know, I'm not sure myself.
Speaker 2 (01:13:26):
Oops, unless okay, you know it is. I think it
was Gavin Snyder, was it?
Speaker 1 (01:13:31):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (01:13:31):
I'm like, why am I seeing fifty nine come up
from the bottom of the pile. But he switched numbers
and from last year to this year, and I didn't
catch it right away, all right.
Speaker 1 (01:13:41):
So they go back to the ground with the quarterback
Kyler Boone and Kyler yeah, he just he's nid good
enough for the Matthews Hondaker first down. Looks like they
marked it at the twenty seven yard line, So who
Devil's in business? Trailing get Ford team took seven in
the first minutes up this fourth quarter, head home. They
(01:14:05):
got to get the touchdown, and they know it. I'd
like to get it here.
Speaker 2 (01:14:09):
I'll tell you what. Kyler Bows a few plays ago,
he held onto the ball till the very last possible
second with that pitch to Tanner that ended up being
the first down. He absolutely made that play and hanging
on to it and sacrificing himself for that yardage.
Speaker 1 (01:14:24):
First of ten twenty seven yard line. Bows holds on too,
and then puts up a pass so old it's complete, yeah,
Jack College Julio. He tried to sell it. The official
was like, no, I definitely saw what it was on
the ground and incomplete pass.
Speaker 2 (01:14:41):
Yeah, he's an athlete. He got one hand under it.
He couldn't quite get the second hand under it to
cradle it and brought it in pretty darn quick. But
it did hit the ground, so good job by the
official right on it. It was the sideline judge waving that
off and he was looking right at it.
Speaker 1 (01:14:58):
We're go second and plenty the seven yard line. The
under center of the quarterback, Bows hands it off, steam,
goes around the left side and gets driven back by
multiple chieftains.
Speaker 2 (01:15:11):
Maybe got two yards. We'll call it second and eight.
Speaker 1 (01:15:14):
Braidon Brickman among the tacklers for Hopewell louting on that
play right there at the twenty five yard line. Yeah,
still early in this fourth quarterer, so Carrie's got plenty
of time down one touchdown. I want to keep the
trend going of the home team winning in the resumption
(01:15:35):
of this series, and it's fourth straight year. All right,
So here we go, third down and a twenty five
yard line in Hope Well Louden territory. Here at the
Bulls snappens back to the bows, roll to the right
house of protection. Passive of the here caught by Mace
bucket Head. He's taking it inside the fifteen yard line
for the Matthew Tondaker at first Town. It's like they
(01:15:56):
parked it at the thirteen. So yes, may see is
on the money. Definitely reliable receiver and he knows what
to do with the ball after he catches it as well.
Speaker 2 (01:16:09):
Nice job there by Mace. He has done a good
job blocking up front. He's got a couple of runs
and a real nice pass reception for thirteen yards verst
a ten from the thirteen yard line.
Speaker 1 (01:16:22):
Here we go with Phoenix.
Speaker 3 (01:16:23):
Zipods of cleansing the outside. Then he's able to doz him.
Speaker 1 (01:16:28):
Who want to play touchtown trip Phoenix and they're an
extra point away from leveling this game.
Speaker 2 (01:16:37):
Yeah, you get trip Phoenix out in space, No bud,
he's gonna catch him.
Speaker 1 (01:16:42):
Thirteen yard touch down run brought to you by the
Central Ohio Farmers. Go off, and it's.
Speaker 2 (01:16:51):
Got to be the tallest placekicker in the end ten
and maybe in Ohio six foot five For days and
care he gained a couple more inches over the year.
Speaker 1 (01:17:02):
Absolutely, here we goes and the cup oh yes, right
through all right? So well, oh it did go through.
Speaker 2 (01:17:12):
It made it.
Speaker 1 (01:17:14):
I get all those scoring so we get the extra points.
So on our Wilson Tire scoreboard, it's carry fourteen joining
hope well love and also with fourteen nine twenty one
to go in the fourth, it's a good one here.

All right, Isaay, kick it off? Brayla Martinez on the
return across to twenty twenty five, thirty thirty five forty
help midfield forty five. Here we go to forty thirty?
Will they track it for me?
Speaker 5 (01:18:49):
High?
Speaker 1 (01:18:49):
Bryce Puck the only one with a chance, and he
does get it down inside the five obviously a tremendous
return by Martinez, but a heck of an effort by
puck to not just give up a touchdown. So we'll
see if Carrie's able to hold him out of the
end zone. But wow, how impressive as Braillen Martinez. He
(01:19:10):
just has the speed, he's got the moves. What a
tremendous player he is.
Speaker 2 (01:19:15):
Yeah, he's winded right now. Bryce Puckett caught him from
behind him. You're not gonna see that too often. But
Bryce never gave up. He was probably six or seven
yards behind him when I first saw him trying to
catch him, and made up all that difference, made a dive,
made the shoe string tackle, smacking that back of his
right heel down into the turf.
Speaker 1 (01:19:36):
All right, so ball at the six person goal. Ellen
Frankart the quarterback profile and has the ball. He takes
off and runs left side and he slips through a
couple of tackles and squirts through for a hope well
loudon touchdown. Oh, my goodness, killing Frankart in his first
(01:19:56):
season playing quarterback for the Chieftains. My goodness, that was
uh not what the carry fans were expecting there. Touchdown
brought to you by the Central Hilo Farmers. Cut well
six yards right tier and Braylen Martinez in for the
(01:20:20):
point after I let's with you again on the hold
and the kick is up.
Speaker 2 (01:20:28):
That one is it's true.
Speaker 1 (01:20:31):
Wow, so oh my goodness, So on our Wilson Tyres
scoreboards twenty one to fourteen, well loud and leading at
Carrie nine h six to go in the fourth. Wow,
what a game we got going on here? Where Matthew's
hot acrag game of the week, I imagine ninety five.

Speaker 16 (01:21:43):
At one eight hundred twenty five eight two two one three.
That's one eight hundred twenty five eight two two one
three and as always go.
Speaker 1 (01:21:49):
Bucks ninety five nine here nine oh six to go
on the fourth hope Well, Loudon's got the lead back
twenty one to fourteen killn Frankert with the six yard
touchdown run for the Chieftains. Can see if Carry's got
(01:22:10):
an answer. Certainly got some time. What a difference.
Speaker 2 (01:22:14):
Fifteen seconds makes that big kickoff return? See if Dash,
Pucket or Summit can come up with something big.
Speaker 1 (01:22:21):
Here Smith Hayward, I think they're on the return to
the thirty yard line, Yes, Lucas Smith Hayward returning it
for the Blue Devils. So yeah, let's see Carrie's got
multiple young options out there. Yeah, they're thrown into it
week one.
Speaker 2 (01:22:41):
Yeah, it's basically I think gonna be up to the
quarterbacks to solve this one, mainly through the air. It
seems like both defenses are pretty solid against the run.
Not too many teams can stop Eli Steen as a
running back, and I wouldn't say they've stopped, but they've
definitely slowed him down. From the first half he had
(01:23:03):
forty nine yards. He's got another twenty more in the
third quarter into the fourth here, but they've definitely slowed
down his rushes.
Speaker 1 (01:23:11):
First at ten thirty yard liner cut you like, see
up the middle, hard run in and he's brought down
from behind by Lucas and Gregory at the forty yard
line and Hope well out in territory. But obviously Hey
Hughes Matthew's on the acker a first down for the carry,
Blue Temples. That's the explosion that the people want to
see from Steen here at carry check that he's now.
Speaker 2 (01:23:32):
Got fifty yards in the second half. Thirty yards run
right there for Eli, Steam right up the middle. Nothing
fancy offensive line doing a heck of a job moving
people out of the way. Nobody touched him for a
long while.
Speaker 1 (01:23:44):
No doubt about it. So they break the huddle down
twenty one to fourteen, eight and a half remaining in
the fourth quarter, first and ten forty yard line and
Hope Well on territory carry with the ball snap his
back tack caller bows handed off Elisten anybody's our tackle
heads to the thirty yard line twenty five and it
brought down the twenty yard line. He is feeling it now,
Eli Steen. Another Matthews on egrafers out for Carrie Brayden.
Speaker 2 (01:24:09):
Brickman's gonna see Eli Stein coming at him all night
long in his dreams because they're nightmares. He just bowled
him over another ten yards down the field.
Speaker 1 (01:24:20):
Twenty yards overall on that game there for Eli Steen absolutely. So.
As we hit the eight minute mark of the fourth quarter,
the Blue Deubles, hoping to get this game tied yet again,
down twenty one to fourteen, breaking the huddle, the Blue
Doubles in the red zone quarterback Color Bills shotgun snap
(01:24:40):
has it takes off immediately to run left side and
then Crow the first to hit him. And a little
bit of help on defense there from Mason Brighthart at
the fifteen yard line. So pick up a five.
Speaker 2 (01:24:55):
Good job there, everybody firing off that ball and doing
a good job on that left side to create some
space for the quarterback to get a five yard pickup.
Speaker 1 (01:25:07):
Yeah, it's gotta dig into the playbook a little bit
here again. So hope well louded. So here we go
second to five, fifteen yard like Harry down twenty one
to fourteen in this fourth quarter. So I cauna snap bows,
hands it off. Eli Steen burroughs through uses the legs
that get a little bit extray. Yep, he got to
(01:25:27):
the ten. That's what he needs, Matthews hanachera first down
for the carry blue temples. Let's see.
Speaker 2 (01:25:43):
Eli Stein just keeps those powerful legs churning. Those are
like tree trunks down there. They're falling forward and you're
not gonna stop it unless you've got three or four
guys on him.
Speaker 1 (01:25:54):
First the goal from the ten, bows under center and right,
go right back to Steve. Then Eli gets cut down
inside the five.
Speaker 2 (01:26:04):
So got a real nice block up front. That was
dash Pucket And also can't leave out Levi bowling. I
think on that left side, Yeah, I thought I saw
fifty three.
Speaker 1 (01:26:21):
Well, let's see here second and goal, it's a three
yard line, color Bows under center. He's got three backs
behind him in the Maryland I and hands it off
to Mace Pucket. It appears, yes, he's got the tough
down carry Blue Temples again within one point up, tighter.
Speaker 2 (01:26:40):
Game, Carry doing the job, marching right down the field
rely and I Lei Steen and then Mace Puckett pushing
it in from three yards out. Good job by the
left side of that offensive line. I might have misspoke.
It was probably number fifty one Dawson Kerchnaf. He definitely
(01:27:00):
had a good block on that play too, that left
side of the line, along with number sixty six Cameron Penwell.
The seniors coming up to day. Let's see, they're trying
to go for two. Here e La Steed rushing in.
Speaker 1 (01:27:14):
He's gone.
Speaker 3 (01:27:16):
Are the Carry Blue Doubles of taking the lead?
Speaker 1 (01:27:20):
Hondo Wilson Terra scoreboard. The Blue Doubles lead at twenty
two to twenty one. We have five fifty seven to
go in the fourth. We'll take the short break. Bring

Speaker 1 (01:28:41):
High school football Magic ninety five nine. Here we are
just under six minutes to play in the fourth Carrie
has taken the lead of twenty two to twenty one.
As we get a kicked off from Gary and Andy
pro dropped it hell and he's able to land on it.
Do well out and just disverted disaster. Oh my goodness,
So Lucas and Gregory, good job by jumping on top
(01:29:04):
of the ball after maybe losing into lights not quite sure,
but hope well louding down by a point with five
fifty six ago in this fourth quarter twenty two twenty one.
Speaker 2 (01:29:17):
Can't say enough Nathan Gary doing a good job. He
put that ball up really high and kept it away
from Martinez. So those two factors gave the Blue Devil
defense time to get down there quickly. His only choice
was to jump on that as quick as.
Speaker 1 (01:29:31):
He could back twenty yard line. He as a quarterback
has Oh he's looking to go deep franker down the
field who Martinez incomplete near the forty yard line. That
was just he just overshaw him.
Speaker 2 (01:29:43):
Really now, I don't really know how to describe this.
This looked like a quarterback draw pass. It's the only
way I can do it. He tucked the ball in,
ran to his right about four steps and it looked
totally like a run, and then all of a sudden
he uncourts it trying to get the pass down field. So, uh,
you know, it's basically designed to draw the defense in
(01:30:05):
which it did. It was pretty decent coverage downfield by
the defensive secondary, but he did have an opportunity, maybe
had a half a step on the defense. So very
fortunate that's fell incomplete.
Speaker 1 (01:30:16):
Second and ten, twenty eight yard line. Hopefull out with
the ball down by one and the quarterback is l
us here under pressure conn then the ball comes up.
It looks like Hopewell Loudon it was able to recover
the ball and keep possession of it. As Joey e
Wold was there at a sophomore. Well, yes, you heard
(01:30:43):
that announcement there, reidmar we would play four carries. So
it's gonna be.
Speaker 2 (01:30:53):
Third and eighteen or nineteen third and twenty they're calling it.
I'm gonna still go. We're gonna go with eighteen.
Speaker 1 (01:31:00):
Third and eighteen from the twenty. That's exactly what the twenty.
There you go, as we approached five minutes here quarterback
has a snap. Here we go. Ellis on the move,
puts up a pass. Collets Juliot with a catch inside
the thirty and are wrapped up and tackle by quarterer
Pain boys. He far and up.
Speaker 2 (01:31:21):
Yeah, Bain doing a real nice job wrapping. That was
one thing that's in the first half to carry Blue
Devils had to work on making that better tackle, hanging
on to people. He just about ripped off his jersey
to hang on to him. But he got the job done.
Speaker 1 (01:31:37):
Hope well loud. Obviously he did not want to be
in a situation to have to punt. But here we go,
fourth and eleven. Yeah, that gets away from Phoenix. He
just gotta let that go. It takes the multiple Chieftain bounces. Oh,
inside the twenty five. Well done. That was a great
punt for sure. Fun The good news for Carrie got
(01:32:00):
the football back at one point lead with four seventeen
remaining in the four.
Speaker 2 (01:32:08):
All right, balls all the way down to the twenty
four yard line. You say, okay, well here we go.
We got four minutes in eighteen seconds left, four minutes
seventeen seconds. They ticked off one more second than I
saw before. But this is exactly where having a back
like Eli Steen having the power eye offense. We'll see
(01:32:28):
what they come out with here, but I would be
very shocked if we didn't see an awful lot of
ground game here to try and keep that clock.
Speaker 1 (01:32:35):
Rolling first and ten let's see. Yep, they go right
down to the ground with Steen and he just gets
what he can. Yeah, some sore yardage right there. It
looks like at the twenty seven yard line opening we
may have a plinger down piers. To be a hopewell
loudon player.
Speaker 2 (01:32:52):
I think it's just a leg cramp.
Speaker 14 (01:32:54):
One of the.
Speaker 2 (01:32:57):
Kerry Blue Devils actually trying to help him stretch that
leg out. The official comes in and says, hey, let
him go, and it's like just helping out here. Yeah,
we definitely got a leg cramp. Knock on wood. Hopefully
that's all it is.
Speaker 1 (01:33:10):
Yes, looking at Mason or Ryan Hart here, so get
this time out an injury time out brought to you
by the Quest Federal Credit Union. And it does appear
that they are just stretching out the calf area there
for Ryan Hard and yeah wow yeah, four six to
(01:33:31):
go in this game. Not quite sure how long this
will last. Sometimes they pop right up and then there
right back to play. So we're just gonna keep it
here just in case that happens, because, yeah, it's so close,
a close game of twenty two of the twenty one
in favor of the Carrie Blue Devils. And yeah, everybody
(01:33:54):
was saying coming in this game, it's gonna be tight.
It's gonna be hard for both teams. Uh, that's what
we're seeing right now. This has been an impressive effort
by both teams as they continue to stretch them out.
I'm just gonna look real quick at to see any
scores I've got and yeah, yeah, Upper Sandusky down to
(01:34:14):
Northmoor forty eight to seven in that one, so that's
really tough. But yeah, just as we know, the player
here does get up and Mason Reinhardt, so it can
happen that fast and they get back out to play.
We'll watch for some other intent scores as we can.
Speaker 2 (01:34:30):
They'll have to come out for at least one play,
but my guess is he's gonna try to come right
back out. Definitely needs to get some fluids over there,
and if you're a young athlete out there, you got
a seventy seven degree night, definitely keep yourself hydrated. We
had a cool week right before this last week of football,
but it's gonna get a hot out here again. So
(01:34:51):
if you're playing Saturday morning football tomorrow or something else,
some other kind of athletics running around outside, definitely keep
yourself hydrated before, during, and after the ball game.
Speaker 1 (01:35:07):
All right, Well, here we go on the twenty seventh
yard line. Suck it down. Just gotta try to keep
it on the ground. Y yep, you're just gonna run
it here, and yeah, you'll see who has that ball
that time this two headed. But if you're already getting
the time out, oh there it goes. Thank you, d
(01:35:33):
look in sum it all right, so we get to
Hope Well allowed timeout, So we'll take it here. Rote
you about the Cross Federal Credit Union. It's twenty two
to twenty one, Carrie leads Hope Well allowed, with three
twenty one to go in the fourth on Magic ninety

High school football Magic ninety five nines. It's one winding
down here out of the timeout to carry blue. Devil's
trying the milk just went away, leaving by one and
on the run. Kyler vows from the right side and
would maybe just stop there at the live scrimmage. Looks
like we're getting another crest. Federal Credit Union time out. Yeah,
(01:37:10):
this time for hope, well loud, and yeah we can
keep it here this time. Yeah, three thirteen to go
in this fourth quarter. It's twenty two to twenty one
in favor of the Carrie Blue Devils, and yeah, every year,
you know it's gonna be quite a battle. And uh yeah,
that's what coach colleg Julio was talking about. It is
tough to get a win here at Carrie when you're
(01:37:31):
a visiting team.
Speaker 2 (01:37:33):
Coach Mershman's got the one point lead. Now his defense
has tightened things up in the second half, but this
one's far from over. They have scored quickly on the
drives that they have had, if you know they've obviously
the last drive was set up by the kickoff return
but one play to get into the end zone, and
the previous drive was a couple of big plays to
(01:37:55):
get downfield, you know, fifty yarder and then a twelve
yard touchdown pass. So they do have some quick strike capability.
So this one is far from over.
Speaker 1 (01:38:07):
Yes, indeed, so coming out of that time out, yes,
three thirteen remaining in the fourth.
Speaker 2 (01:38:16):
So fourth down, looks like they're gonna try and set
up the return here.
Speaker 1 (01:38:23):
We know they're dangerous for that. Yeah, they got to
get up a good punt and here it comes in
over in backing up called Trulio. Did he I don't
know if he touched it. It didn't seem like you did.
Did you think he touched it? Well, the officials will.
Speaker 2 (01:38:37):
They didn't put a bag down, but I really thought
it touched his foot. Okay, Now there's no no bean
bags down on the field, so just a long kick,
so excellent time to cut uncork your longest punt of
the night. Good job by the carry Blue Devils, and
good coverage there as well, four players surrounding the ball
making sure nobody was gonna pick that one up and
(01:39:00):
bring it back.
Speaker 1 (01:39:04):
Absolutely so. Yeah for the twenty one yard line. Hope
well loudon still with time under three minutes to play,
trailing at twenty two, the twenty one and carry to
Kobe yellows Is. The quarterback has a snap, drops back.
He's the one with the big r over the lift
side finds a playmaker. Martinez cuts through the middle and
then gets wrapped up head and tackle. Yeah you think
(01:39:24):
that all He might just break it loose, but the
Blue Devils are there. Cason Sherman among the other tacklers
for the Blue Devils inside the thirty yard line.
Speaker 2 (01:39:33):
Coach Catulio pulling out all the plays here. That one
was the receiver came back into basically like a flanker
position from an outside receiver, then brought it back up
through the middle. He picked up seven yards.
Speaker 1 (01:39:46):
Second and three from the twenty nine yard line. Two
receivers to the left, two to the right, a pistol
formation here. On the break out of it to Tobeyellis,
the quarterback has the snap, looks to his left under
some pretch for Deshpucket. Lets it go just on time.
A sideline complete comes down on second what comes in
as well as Evan Irick was the intended receiver and
(01:40:09):
it looks like it's going to be on carry.
Speaker 2 (01:40:14):
Well, I tell you what, that was excellent coverage. He
might have got a penalty flag. I don't necessarily agree
with that call, but you got two officials. What are
we We.
Speaker 1 (01:40:25):
Got a whole hold? Yeah, well hope, well loudon and
the passpits on carry. So they all said offset, whoa
dodge the bullet there, But that's what the second flag was. Yeah,
So they weren't for the same play. Yeah, yeah, quite.
Speaker 2 (01:40:38):
Honestly, though, that was excellent defense. There might have been
some contact. That's on the far side of the field,
you know, their officials eyes are a lot closer to
it than ours here. But it looked like excellent coverage
to me. And so Smith Hayward has nothing to be
ashamed of there. So just keep that tight defense and
(01:40:59):
he's doing a good job. Trip Phoenix out on Jack
Cola Tulio. He's been there hot hand here.
Speaker 1 (01:41:05):
Three yep, and let's see. Well they just got the
time out just on time for the Carrie Blue Devils
to eleven to go in the fourth twenty two to
twenty one. Carrie leads hope, well, loudon, it's so Matthew
Udacer game of the Week. I bet you got a

Speaker 1 (01:42:26):
Two eleven remaining in the fourth, you got a second
down in three to twenty eight yard line pro poliut
and training by one quarterback L's pass near side. Oh
I got two handled the butts out of bounds or
may not even have completed the catch. Eater couldn't quite
tell on the sideline, Jack Calletulio, so it brings on
third down for Hope Well louded down twenty two to
(01:42:47):
twenty one two o five to go with a four.
Speaker 2 (01:42:50):
Trip Phoenix who came up with that big interception on
the coverage there. He did a great job on that
one and forced a quarterback to throw it high. It
was just he did come down with it, but unfortunately
was not able to get either foot in only one
foot required in high school football to be a reception,
but just an incompletion there third and three, twenty eight
(01:43:12):
yard line.
Speaker 1 (01:43:12):
They'll go for it on fourth if they don't get
it here pass the deer's come by College. Julio gets
across the thirty five yard line and.
Speaker 2 (01:43:20):
Uh, I don't think did they bounds? Did he? No,
They're gonna wind it, okay, so.
Speaker 1 (01:43:25):
He's does stay in bounds, Jack College Trulio still a
Matthews Hondaker at first down, spotted at the thirty six
yard line. So hope, well Loudon still alive here one
fifty six. Ag it's a first down. So they paused
the clock temporarily. But yeah, now I'm rolling again down
by one. Here we go versus ten, thirty six yard
line in their own territory. Snap back from the gun,
(01:43:47):
Ellis pass, oh and it's caught there by Martinez. He
has cross the forty five yard line and pushed back
in the sea.
Speaker 2 (01:43:55):
Here I they're giving him the first down, but quite honestly,
he came back under his own power and was still
moving backwards before anybody touched him. I think that's a
misspot there.
Speaker 1 (01:44:07):
But one and a half to go first and ten
forty six yard line, Hope Well louding down twenty two
to twenty one. Quarterback ellis Well to the right, but
it's a pass up and caught by Weinmann. Then he
immediately goes out of bounds near midfield or the chieftains
think they're marking him at the forty eight.
Speaker 2 (01:44:22):
Elis doing a masterful job here so far, he's got
to get all these passes to the sideline. They have
to get out of bounds. They're out of timeouts. Coach
John Merchman forced that on the other end of the
field by you know, just running quote unquote conservative plays.
It forced the other team to call the timeouts. Otherwise
they would have lost a couple minutes on the clock
(01:44:42):
with the forty second clock, and you know, you just
can't afford to do that, so they had to burn
their timeouts. Now no timeouts left. They still got fifty
two yards to go, second and.
Speaker 1 (01:44:52):
Age forty eight yard line. Quarterback Ellis He's the one
working at pass barside, caught by Erich, and he's able
to spin out of a tackle, get the first down
near the forty yard line and carry territories stick star
moving Matthews Hondakra first down with what are living to go?
Speaker 2 (01:45:08):
In the fourth?
Speaker 1 (01:45:09):
Still down a point? They need something, see.
Speaker 2 (01:45:12):
If they spike it here the ball spotted, but they yes,
they did. Wind the clock down to one oh five
and counting. Now what have we got and let's see
all let's carry the Coles a time out. Yeah, in
this situation, we'll just keep it here at a minute
to go. Oh my gosh. The pressure of this game
both ways, for sure. I mean it's just a one
point game. Absolutely, it's just uh, exactly what you want.
(01:45:36):
First week of high school football. Yeah, both these teams
being tested, the metals being fired in the forge. We'll
see who comes out with the victory here tonight. It's
it's gonna be close. It's been close all night and
both these teams very deserving. Hope well loud and hats
off to them. They've come in here and put on
a heck of a game. I'm not unexpected, but both
(01:46:00):
these teams had quite a few people graduate both teams
putting on an excellent show.
Speaker 1 (01:46:04):
Yeah, when you think about if Increase and Blake Barrier,
how good they were. Hope Well Loudon, Carter Smiley, Austin Pedercorp,
among many others for Carrie, Yes, but they just keep
turning them out. So here we go first d ten
forty yard line and carry territory. Hopro allowed it down
by one minute to go in the fourth quarterback has
(01:46:25):
the snap. It is Ellis. Let's it go far side
hi gram made by Collins Trilling.
Speaker 2 (01:46:29):
Ye, yes he was.
Speaker 1 (01:46:31):
He stayed in bounds there right across the thirty yard line,
marking at the twenty nine. Matthews Hondia Akra first down
fifty three seconds. We'll see when they wind it. They're
doing it now, first right the twenty nine from the gun.
Now let's again down by one, it's a situation under
a minute to go. Get the tabartin dazing hold. Oh
(01:46:52):
and let's see he runs up the middle and he's
brought down near the fifteen. Absolutely whoa first down for
Hope Well Loudon with thirty seven seconds left.
Speaker 2 (01:47:05):
Carter Bain got held bigger than daytime and nobody saw it.
Speaker 1 (01:47:09):
And a spike, yes, so smart play. You're right there
for the Chieftains in their quarterback, Jacoby Ellis. We knew
we would see both of them in this game. Helen Frankert,
he certainly did his duty in this contest as a
quarterback in one situation, was able to run it into
the end zone for a touchdown. Right now, it's Jacoby
(01:47:32):
Ellis's turn. He's doing really well putting the pressure on
carry with thirty two seconds left and hope well loudon
trailing at twenty two to twenty one.
Speaker 2 (01:47:41):
I'll tell you what Carter Bain wishes, he would not
have been held there. I think he would have made
that tackle. But they'll have to do it again.
Speaker 1 (01:47:49):
Second and ten, Yeah, fourteen, let's see quarterback Ellis puts
it up toward the end zone. Good Den, Yeah, you
called down and didn't get it. Play good defense over
there for the Blue Devils.
Speaker 2 (01:48:04):
I think that's caseon Sherman who came in as the
extra defensive back that actually knocked that one away. Number seven.
Speaker 1 (01:48:14):
At least twenty four seconds.
Speaker 2 (01:48:18):
Also over there on the coverage was Lucas Smith Hayward,
and he's been doing an excellent job. He's got the
tough assignment now as Jack Kolachrulgio has made those acrobatic catches.
Goes out on that far left.
Speaker 1 (01:48:29):
Side turn ten, Yes, fourteen yard line. Let's see the pass.
Speaker 3 (01:48:33):
Yeah it's cut and Martinez tumbles in to the in
zone for hope.
Speaker 1 (01:48:40):
Well Loudon chieftains take the lead with seventeen seconds to
go in the fourth whoa.
Speaker 2 (01:48:50):
Carter Baim had a chance, just could not wrap him up. Martinez,
with a really nice spin move, was able to get.
Speaker 1 (01:48:57):
Away fourteen yard touchdo down play to Martinez. Touchdown brought
to you by the Central Hill Farmers go op. So
Hope Well Loudon has the lead twenty seven to twenty two.
There's seventeen seconds ago. They gonna go for two here,
(01:49:19):
looks like they will. Yeah that yeah, mathematically makes the
most sense to go up the full touchdown. Frankarts back
in comus direction, Oh and then dropped. Wow, yeah he
was there, but.
Speaker 17 (01:49:34):
Yeah, Braden Brickman unable to hold on to the ball,
so a little bit behind him. He wishes he had
that one back. So no good on the two point conversions.
We're just keep it here.
Speaker 1 (01:49:47):
Final seventeen seconds on our Wilson Tires scoreboard, it's Hope
well Louton leading twenty seven to twenty two. This is
a team that knows how to put the pressure on.
And there's some young players out there are really stepping
up well, but it's the veteran who's had the biggest
plays in Verillan Martinez. He has been sensational.
Speaker 2 (01:50:10):
Yeah, absolutely, that last spin move obviously what appears to
be the game winning touchdown, of course got to go
through the kickoff and still.
Speaker 1 (01:50:22):
Well yeah, there's seventeen seconds. Yeah, so one time out
remaining for the Blue Devils as well. Yeah, it's not over,
but right it's I mean, it's a much tougher situation.
You would rather be in the situation to Hope all
Loudin's in right now for sure. But if you're a competitor,
you say, we still have time. We're gonna find it
till the very end. That's how the Blue Devils do it.
(01:50:43):
So we shall see this.
Speaker 2 (01:50:45):
Ball will go nowhere near dash bucket. And I guarantee
you that.
Speaker 1 (01:50:50):
All right, see, if they are able to execute playing
properly in only seventeen seconds left. Twenty seven to twenty
two is the hope well a loud and lead ready
to kick it.
Speaker 2 (01:51:00):
Off, going to keep it away from Trip Phoenix as well.
Phoenix has burnt the defense on a couple of plays here,
so they will try to stand it towards Smith Hayward
if they don't just scrift it Riper.
Speaker 1 (01:51:13):
Yeah, our TEAMZ goes to Summit and he just runs
out of bounds near the thirty five yard line.
Speaker 2 (01:51:23):
Carter Bame and Brody Brickman over on the sideline with
a little bit of an extra pushing and shoving a
no penalty flag, so the ball will start off right
about the thirty five yard line.
Speaker 1 (01:51:37):
Yeah, this is one where you just don't have much time,
only sixty seconds left. Gotta have the blocking. Imagine that
coverage might be soft to try to prevent the long
pass plays, so you're running doesn't particularly help because that
runs down time. So let's see off yard line.
Speaker 2 (01:52:01):
Little conference by the officials on the thirty five go
over and discuss things with coach Mershman. Take one more
second off the clock. They're saying should be fourteen or fifteen.
Speaker 1 (01:52:20):
I guess it was at sixteen rights it was, yeah,
so they have it at fifteen seconds. Yeah, that that
seems about right. So first in ten thirty five yard line,
down twenty seven to twenty two. Alright, the quarterback long
because hit under pressure, getting hit and that falls incomplete
on the near side line around the thirty five yard
(01:52:41):
line and hope well loud territory leaving nine seconds left.
Were the carry Blue Devils? Oh my gosh, yeah, they
carry seeved so close the victory, but they had to
get the stop. Now they need the big play and
only nine seconds left. Yeah, that's the idea. Pretty much
(01:53:02):
got to go to the year. It might have might
be time for two plays, So see what they throw up?
Will they go with some tricks? Second and ten thirty
five yard line and the quarterback boughs and needs some protection,
runs to the right side, oh, can't get away, and
(01:53:24):
then just throws it down, leaving two seconds on the clock.
Speaker 2 (01:53:31):
That's where they're discussing. For sure there is a penalty
flag down. Did not see a receiver in the pattern.
The only one who was close was an offensive lineman.
That offensive lineman happens to be Gavin Snyder, who fullback,
(01:53:51):
but he's currently playing guards, so that doesn't work out
so well, was not haven't seen any eligible guards reporting
to the officials.
Speaker 1 (01:54:05):
You know, not tonight for that. Yeah, yeah, they're keeping
things much more basic. But uh yeah, just a good
all around football game fromidous effort both ways around. But
only two seconds left. The Blue Devils will need a
miracle right now to pull it off. Down twenty seven
to twenty two. So we will see these funnel two
seconds right now.
Speaker 2 (01:54:26):
Got basically five people within ten yards of the line.
He's got the stab way back.
Speaker 1 (01:54:31):
And Bow's the pass, Soda Milvie and Calcubio just knocks
it down and that will do it. The Hope will
Louton Chieftains come into Carry and get the victory by
a funnel score of twenty seven the twenty two. So
it's the chieftains who start off this season one and
(01:54:51):
oh Carry's dealt with this before starting off one to one.
But we know that does not mean that it's gonna
be a down. See in twenty twenty one, Carrie lost
in Week one to Hope Well Loudon and that wound
up being the only loss all season for the Kerry
Blue Devils went on to win a state championship. So
(01:55:12):
Blue Devils have to regroup. They know that they had
some chances and just couldn't get the stop that they
needed against the exceptional Braylen Martinez who got the winning touchdown.
Speaker 2 (01:55:25):
Yeah, an excellent job by Jacoby Ellis as well. He
led them on that last drive and you could see
he's definitely going to be the quarterback of the future,
and he's the quarterback of right now too. In that
fourth quarter he led him on that last drive. He
also made a couple other nice plays and was able to,
you know, put the ball where he needed to on
(01:55:47):
the sideline. He was on target, and that's tough to do.
Speaker 1 (01:55:51):
You know.
Speaker 2 (01:55:52):
He's had to come into the game late, and he
had a couple of passes earlier, but really put on
a show on that final in the fourth quarter. So
our final score once again twenty seven to twenty two
with the come from behind victory by Hope well Louden
after a really hearty effort by the carry Blue Devil squad.
Speaker 1 (01:56:15):
Certainly was yes, a tremendous game. Unfortunately for Carrie and
the fans here didn't probably turn out as hoped for,
but you knew there was going to be a tough
game versus Hope Well Loud, and it certainly was. Congratulations
of the chieftains they get the victory. So we'll take
(01:56:35):
the short break in we'll come back for some more
postgame talk, but again it is a final, twenty seven
to twenty two Hope Well Loud and defeats Carry. Tonight
for Matthew Sundakra High School Football Game of the Week,
I'll Matgice ninety five nine and iHeartRadio
