Carolyn, I got a question foryou. Have you ever heard of something
called in everything shower and everything shower? No, I immediately think of everything
but the bagel or everything bagel oreverything everything? What's in everything? We're
not talking about little bits of sesameseed and garlic, no seasonings. Apparently

gen Z has this thing called andeverything shower. It's an extremely warm or
hot shower Okay, steamy, theydo, but they do it for hours,
like two to four hours at atime, in the shower for the
new shower hours. Yeah, thiscan't be California. Well, I know,
I know a lot of people likedon't take showers for that long.

But it's it's kind of you know, it's a worldwide phenomenon. In fact,
on TikTok, the hashtag everything showerhas racked up more than one hundred
and sixty eight million views. Whatare you doing in there for two to
four hours besides wasting a tremendous amountof water? Amount of water, said
the old grumpy lady. Right,so that's the part where the everything comes
from. You're you're basically you're soapingup every nook and cranny, wow,

washing your hair, sure, justtaking your time. And the other part
is you're blasting music as you doit. This seems like such a bad
idea. Yeah. Here's the thingthough, I heard about this, and
I'm like, oh, wait aminute. Sloan, my fifteen year old,
takes She doesn't take hours long showers, but she does take really long
showers. And I actually realized thisover the weekend my family was down visiting.

We went from like having multiple bathroomsin the house to just one in
the apartment. Yeah, and soshe would go in for the shower,
and all of us were like,oh, okay, when Sloan's clogging it
up. She's in there lugging upthe line, soaping up everything and blasting
Taylor Swift. Oh, because that'sthe other part, is you blast music
while you do it? Yeah?Yeah, yeah, everything shower. I

am so irritated by this on somany levels. Yeah, this is why
I don't have kids. I wouldI don't know how I would handle this.
Yeah. I would probably guess thatparents out there are probably seeing a
little bit of this, And again, I don't know. If I don't
think Sloan isn't necessarily following a trend. I don't think she saw this,
and it's just she's just being Sloan, right, she's got a routine.
How do you handle this as aparent, Like, what do you do?

Do you just let it happen ordo you just you know? Or
do you say, Sloan, you'vegot to take shorter showers. You can't
be in there for hours on end. I'm always saying that, just because
you know, we've got their dad. Yeah, the thermostat take shorter showers.
I will wonder if any of ourlisteners do you have kids that are
doing this, that are taking theselonger showers. I mean thirty minutes tops.

That seems too long. So twoto four hours seems just out of
the question, way too long
