Court Johnson, we had kind ofan intense morning to start off the show
this morning. Yeah, unexpected tragedyin that being my coffee pot that I
make coffee for the masses here atthe building, for the other radio stations

and myself. And now Court includedbroke. Yeah, handle, Brow,
you've got it in your hand,and it's the it's a it's you know,
imagine a stereotypical coffee pot with awith a black handle. It's glass
with a black handle, and thetop part that typically would fasten to the
bowl or you know, the blast, yeah, is disconnected, so snap.

So yeah. So it's so youwere ready to make a pot of
coffee and I said, if youdo that, how are you going to
hold it when I pick it up? And I said from the bottom.
And then Court looked at me like, are you really that dumb? Yeah,
And you were right for looking atme that way, by the way,
and then I started thinking about allthe people here in the building who
depend on Maryland to bring them theirmorning coffee. It's a thing. As

a matter of fact, Court wasnice enough to take a video of this
situation this morning, which is onour Facebook page and our Instagram at ninety
eight one the breeze to show whathappened. But there was a backup pot.
You'll be happy to know a backupcoffee maker in the kitchen which I
have stolen and use that this morning. So it was lovely. Do you
think it slowed down your process,like the amount of time you spend because

you had to think on your feetreal quickly, so delayed juice slightly?
So much? I think so.I spend a lot of time. I
mean I make the coffee, Igo studio to studio, I fill up
everybody's cups. There's a conversation thatusually happens, like a good morning,
how are you today? So it'sa thing. Well, I was just
reading yesterday, Carolyn, this interestingstat The average worker spends fifty hours a
year on coffee break, whether that'sgoing to their coffee, to the break

room, or going to the localshop and standing in line. So fifty
hours a week, or excume me, fifty hours a year is a good
It's more than a week's worth ofwork that you're spending on coffee time.
My way higher. Well, butit's you know, it's it's you know,
it's good work that you're doing becausepeople depend on you for it or
the masses. Yes, it's myway of giving back here at the radio

station to helping my coworkers. It'sgood camaraderie. It starts everybody's day off
with a smile. Right, that'swhat we do here on the Breeze.
It should come from the Breeze,right. So now we have the stolen
pot from the kitchen and this one'sgoing to go to my recycling bin.
