Speaker 1 (00:00):
Turkey Drop dot org. By this time tomorrow, the twenty
second annual Turkey Drop for Meltrotter Ministries will be well underway.
We have a bunch of drop off locations that includes
Celebration Cinema North in South We'll be doing our special
rap broadcast from Celebration Cinemon North tomorrow night. I've got

(00:20):
a lot to talk about between now and then about
that Turkey Drop dot org to find out all the
information you want, David the News, I'm just talking about
the Epstein files. In a vote that could possibly happen today.
Here is Congressman James Comber.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Yesterday, they've released what they can legally release. There's grand
jury testimony, and the Trump administration asked the judge to
release that grand jury testimony. And the judge, who was
an Obama appointee, rejected the Trump Department of Justice request
to release the grand jury testimony. So a judge has
to issue that.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Heard from Ryan Schmels that the Speaker of the House
is on board with this, the President is jing congressmen
on the geop side of things to vote for it.
Ryan Smells on Capitol Hill this morning with Fox News Radio.
Good Morning, Hey, good morning, So it's hard to keep
straight what's going on with this thing. So Republicans talked

(01:16):
about making sure that the victims aren't outed, that they
redact what information may harm people. Now everybody's saying, just
get this thing out in the open.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
Well, I mean, look, the bill was going to have
the votes to pass, so President Trump essentially is giving
them his blessing and saying we have nothing to hide.
So yeah, now we can probably expect a pretty bipartisan
vote today as opposed to what it was before.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
I get emails from the administration. I'm sure you do too.
They went on the offensive yesterday throwing a lot of
Democrats under the bus on this thing.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Yes, and I mean there was a story yesterday it
dropped where these text messages were revealed between Jeffrey Epstein
and a Democrat member of Stacey Placid. She's actually a
delegate who lives in the Virgin Islands, represents the Virgin Islands.
And you know, Keem Jefferies was actually asked about that yesterday.
I've got to pull up a statement to see what

(02:12):
exactly he said. But yeah, I mean this is something
that Democrats are starting to face too, because you, yeah,
like you just said, the White House is going on
the offensive, and that's kind of been how their mo
has been with a lot of other issues.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
I guess it's an opinion piece, but I agree that
I can't imagine that there's a smoking gun in this
thing in the world of leaks that we live in now,
having enough people had an eye on this thing that
if there was some big bombshell, we would have learned
about it by now.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
Well, there's been this widespread theory and Republicans really believed
this that if there was anything related to President Trump
that was in these Epstein documents, the Biden administration would
have probably leaked it to the press during the twenty
twenty four election cycle. But that didn't happen, and I
think there's widely been considered there's an expectation there's probably

(03:01):
no smoking gun when it comes to President Trump or
Bill Clinton. But you know, we could be proven wrong,
and there's a lot of things in there that that
could be incriminating for a lot of people, but there's
also might not be. But you know the problem with
this story is that it's been such a fascination of
the public, in such a passion of the public, especially

(03:21):
the Internet that you know, there's always going to be
the question, well, when they when they drop this information,
is it ever going to be satisfying enough to people?

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Yeah? And will it be the whole report? And so
is that how it rolls? Right? If they approve this
thing that somehow on a website, we'll all get an
email with a link and everybody will be able to
read it.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
Well, I mean, I think you quite look it up,
but I don't know. I don't know how exactly they
would drop the information. Ryans or no, not a ready
your public library and pick.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
It up there you go, just follow the blue line

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
