weeks ago. We won all three games against Purdue, and

was my four years of following Ohio State softball that
my daughter's been a starter for the team on the
shortstop position. It was the worst game I've ever seen

run out of gas.

They are strong? So we were at a Red, White
and Boom party with Earl and they have different alcohol
things that you can drink. It's the first time I
ever had cut water. Well, I cut loose after my cutwater.

But I would stay tuned just to hear what happens
after Michayla and I drink these lemon drop cutwaters. I
didn't even know what I put into my mouth until
I turned the cane over and.

Well, hey, I'm gonna have you in good form for
a selection Sunday. Yes, show later today.
Speaker 5 (14:19):
Yes you are the listen to this, you know when
it rains at pourse. So we're already driving back. We
figured we'd stay at the hotel a couple of days
because we figured they'd win that first game, right, and
then it would have been a high state Michigan vying
for the championship game in the Big Ten. That didn't happen.
Speaker 8 (14:37):
What ended up happening. He ended up going to the camps.
Speaker 5 (14:39):
Michigan ended up winning the whole thing, and we beat
them three times this year.
Speaker 8 (14:43):
That was an electric series.
Speaker 5 (14:44):
It was important for them though, otherwise they would not
have made it into the NC Double Tournament. Every team
who wins their conference is an automatic qualifier, So because
Michigan won the whole thing, they're automatically into the NC
Double eight and we probably weren't going to see them
in there. So anyway, we're driving home and we're talking
to different families, you know, to pass the time, and

Randy's probably just not paying attention to much as we're
driving and talking to one family and another family. All
of a sudden, we're on the highway and uh, we
run out of gas.
Speaker 8 (15:19):
No, you didn't, We ran out on that highway.
Speaker 5 (15:22):
Yes. Fortunately, you know, when you're going from Indiana to Ohio,
which it was at Purdue, there's a lot of rural
roadways where there's nothing around you. True, Thank goodness. This
is where you say God was probably looking out for us.
We were right next to an exit, so we even
coasted right to the bottom of the exit and then

cur plunk nothing. Kylon's in the back seat having a fit.
Oh I'm sure, Dad, how do you run out of gas?
Because they ran out on the highway Randy, years ago,
when Kylon was like maybe ten years old, for a
baseball tournament. They ran out of gas. Yeah. I don't
know too many people who have run out of guess
these days, but we did. So then we got out
(16:04):
of the car. Kai stayed in the car, like, I
don't think you should stay in the car because it's
right off the exited car could hit you, And He's like,
now I'm staying so Grandy and I walked no help
of my son Randon, and I walked, bought a little
gas can and gas and through the gas station. Yeah,
it wasn't that far of a walk, but it was.
Speaker 7 (16:22):
You were the people on the side of the highway walking.
Speaker 8 (16:25):
With the can.
Speaker 5 (16:26):
Wish I would have had my can of cut water.
Speaker 8 (16:28):
I know cut water would have worked really well.

Then there's another story that I'm going to save for
our hot topic, and this one has me very angry
and very worried. Oh yeah, I'll call tell you. I'll
tell you during our time.

I mean it's a busy time in general. Happy Mother's

thing about mom, you know, I McKayla and I were
just talking. Mother Day means Mother's Day means so much
different for me now. It's just different because my mom's
not here, and I know my kids are, and Cammie
cooked me dinner the other night and she surprised me.

After church, her and Randy had a plan that we
were gonna grab something to eat, and she went came
right up and surprised me as well. Meanwhile, Kylin was
asleep in our basement because he's home for the weekend.

I'm like, Hi, it's Mother's Day. Oh I girl, weeken,
we'll have some we'll talk about our days. We'll do
