and you're going to give our producer your name, your
email address, and your phone number, and we're gonna then

How did you and Marcus meet in TV.
Speaker 3 (00:59):
Right his producer and you still are I still am
this producer that is prey.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
Sure, his director, his everything. So yeah, I would rewrite
his scripts. He really loved me. Oh, I'm sure. How
about you and Randy.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
Randy and I met because I was working at the
WLAO TV station in Lima. I was doing news and weather.
I was actually the weather girl back then as well.
Actually dark and Everything taught me how to add lib
more than anything, because you had to think on your feet.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
You didn't have a script. You had to talk and
I had to act like a meteorologist. I would love
to see you referring to maps. Oh.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
The very first time I went on there the du weather,
I was like, you know, it's going to be a
pretty nice stay out. So if you want to lay
out in the sun and get a tan and you can,
or you don't have to.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
So did Randy see you on TV or what happened?
Speaker 2 (01:45):
No? So he was from that area, you know. He
grew up in Putnam County and Kaleida. So he was
a big name basketball player, like a big big name.
He was the last one cut from the Lakers because
he was an All American at the University of Finland.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
I don't think I knew that.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
The Lakers out in calif and was the last one.
He was an All American with Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman.
So anyway, he was a big name basketball star and
his dad, of course being the winniest high school coach
in the history of high school basketball currently today. And
then he made this professional softball team. So our sports
guy at WLAO was doing a story on Randy. He
(02:21):
came to the station and nothing against Lima, but I
wasn't used to seeing a lot of hot guys at
that time in my life in the Lima area.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
He comes to the station, I see him. The rest
is history.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
We dated for like six years, so it was I
guess through my job as well, but had no I
swear you, guys, when love hits you, you never expect it.
You know what it happens in those most inopportune times
where you don't expect the love of your life to
walk in out of a car that was hit by
a semi truck, which he parked like a mile away
because he didn't want anyone to see it. He's had
(02:53):
two lives before midy and after Mindy, that life before Mindy.
He took the money that he was supposed to get
to fix his car and took his buddy to the
Final four, his buddies to the Final four in New Orleans. Ah,
that's before Mandy. That's before Mandy.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
So that's how we met. But those are the stories
we want to hear.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
We do so six one, four, eight, two, one, nine,
eighty eighty six. I think you know that Marcus met
my youngest sister before he met me, though I.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
Did not know. Did he kind of have a hunking
for her? No, thank god.
Speaker 4 (03:21):
No.
Speaker 3 (03:23):
So she was finishing up high school at the time,
and she let.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
A walkout at school. They walked down at school.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
There were some things they wanted changed at school that
I think had to do with lunches, and so that
is how Mark she was the student body president, and
that is how Marcus met her.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
Did they get their way? I think they did. Actually, yeah,
I think it worked out. I mean it's been years ago.
I can't remember what the exact thing was, but yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
So The Interviewer is a show on Netflix that was
an old show but I'm just now watching it.
Speaker 1 (03:52):
Orange is the New Black okay, yes, I've never watched.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
Try to get changes in the prison instead of holding
a walk out because I can't walk out of prison. Nope,
they held a hunger strike some of the inmates in
there to initially ate change.
Speaker 3 (04:06):
Got to get attention somehow.
Speaker 1 (04:08):

I get a text from one of my very best friends,
Michelle Carrier, and she says, is that Sean? And she
spells out your last name. So I'm like, yes, how
do you know him? So we called her before your
husband left.
Speaker 1 (04:45):
We called her to put her on the ear. She's like,
I thought that was him. I do their taxes, but
I work.
Speaker 5 (04:49):
With his Wife's not wonderful. Michelle is awesome. She and
her staff are amazing. Yes, so how did you meet?
Speaker 4 (04:58):
Not Michelle, but you Yeah, yes, Sean and I met
in high school and we met because I went to
lunch at a different period than I usually go.
Speaker 5 (05:14):
We both went to Thomas in Worthington, and so I
walked to his lunchroom and I saw my friends a
bunch of people sitting around the table and they were like, Karen,
come on over here, come on stay with us, and
I was like I would, but there's nowhere to sit.
And I saw him and I thought it was cute.
And he stood up and pulled out his chair and
(05:36):
said here, you can have mine.
Speaker 3 (05:38):
Oh he seems like a very kind individual that would
do something like that.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
I mean he gave MICHAELA and I last time he
was in studio a baby Jesus, like a little Jesus
pocket Jesus.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
