Speaker 1 (00:04):
We have about five minutes left as this car show
wraps up. I think the car show people will be
here for about another hour.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
Boots his handing out trophies.
Speaker 1 (00:12):
McKayla and I get to go pick our favorite car
and present our own trophy. But we've had Sally wait
on the line, and our producer said, this is a
caller who wants to say something to Mikayla and myself.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
So Sally, this is your time to shine. What's up?
Speaker 3 (00:27):
Hey, ladies, good afternoon. How are you doing? Sounds like
I have a party over there.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
Here we are in the middle of the party.
Speaker 3 (00:33):
Yeah, yeah, Hey, just real quick, a couple of things.
What a great program that Buckle Up seems to be
and that just goes to prove it just takes one
individual with some drive to produce, to be a producer. Really,
that's an outstanding program. That seems like it's all on
his shoulder. That's outstanding it all. And I am. I
(00:57):
do believe the actholetes should get paid. They then or
she's make a bunch of money off these athletes shoulders,
and I do think they should they should get paid anyway.
The real reason for my call is that any any
friends and family that are not talking to each other
over a privilege. Uh, there's a there's a real problem
(01:17):
there with the individual that won't talk to the other
person that that that's not a true friendship. And there's
a problem more than that with the family member who's
not talking. You got to remember too, Now, it's not
against Trump, it's not it's it's not Trump haters. It's
the right agenda that that the left can't stand. They
want their power back. When the left was in control,
(01:41):
they had forced vaccinations, open borders, child sex trafficking, all that.
They just turned their backs on the boys and girls
sports and the girls and boys sharing back Inston. So
this is just common sense. It's not the hate for
Trump anymore. It's the hate for what he stands for,
which is common sense, and they don't want it. They
(02:02):
want their power. That's about power. It's all about power.
So that's all I'm going to say. Keep in mind,
let's get best bet and Beth Layer in there. She
would make an excellent State Senate person. But anyway, you remember,
so anybody who's listening, it's not against Trump, it's against
his what he wants. It against the right, the left
doesn't want what's right. They want their power back.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
You know what, though, Sally, I have seen people who
do have such a hatred for the president himself they
won't even listen to policies.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
So I think it's kind of both. I think there's
such a.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
Hatred for that man for some people that they won't
even listen to any policies because they can't get by
the hatred of the evil Orange Man.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
Well, since then they've got a problem themselves, because anybody
who won't reason to stand up for what's common sense
and protect our kids and protect this country. They they
they're they're they they should they should go ahead and
leave too, get them out again.
Speaker 4 (03:02):
I do think the dialogue piece that we talked about
is super important, because again, there are good people on
both sides, and so I just wish for more dialogue.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
I guess that's what I wish for.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
Well, I don't know who wouldn't want a boy to
not win a track and field against event against all
these girls, And really, if I was a girl on
the others, on the opposing.
Speaker 4 (03:26):
Team, I wouldn't do it.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
Enough is enough, and it's gonna take ground level of
people standing up and saying forget it and the currents too.
Where are gonna sus sex trafficking at our boarders? Who
wants that? And who just turned a blind eye?
Speaker 4 (03:43):
Who?
Speaker 1 (03:44):
Who?
Speaker 3 (03:44):
Who in their right mind would let this go on?
Speaker 2 (03:48):
The bye?
Speaker 3 (03:48):
Sally?
Speaker 2 (03:49):
Thank you? Okay, thank you for calling in.
Speaker 1 (03:52):
We do appreciate it, and I know there's a lot
of people who agree with you, There's no doubt about it.
We have about forty five seconds left and I think
we covered just about everything on this show. You know,
thank you for taking the time to let us reflect
on Coach k losing my father in law. He's a
great man, but man, he lived such a great life
and will pass on this legacy to his kids and
(04:14):
grandkids and great grandkids. But you know one thing, family
matters anything.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
And life is too short not to have the conversation, folks.
And I think if anything of our conversation sticks with
you today, it's that through the tough times with family
and very very good friends that are like family, have
the conversations you don't want to be somewhere wherever you
regret that you don't.
Speaker 1 (04:37):
Next week Sunday will be Father's Day, so we'll have to.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
Have something planned for Father's Day. I'll feel so bad
for Randy.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
Because his service is Saturday, that the viewing is Thursday
night Friday from like two to eight, because he was
so well loved in the community of Putnam County, and
then the service in burial is Saturday, and then it's
Father's Day.
Speaker 4 (04:56):
On so hard for Randy and you guys.
Speaker 2 (04:59):
And his whole family.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
But like I said, you can look at it with
sadness or you can look at it with love and
light and know that he's in a better place and
that he lived a great.
Speaker 4 (05:08):
Life, and those are the things that should stick well.
Thank you so much for all of you who listen.
No matter what you do this week, spend some time
doing what matters.
