Australia’s Northern Territory is dealing with massive flooding, and police are warning people not to even think about going near the water. And listen, here in Manitoba we’re no strangers to flooding, and I don’t want to take away from that… but CROCODILES EVERYWHERE???? Authorities are literally saying there are crocs in the floodwaters just cruising around like it’s their personal splash park....
Turns out I have more superstitions than I realized, and Friday the 13th is the perfect day to discover them. Apparently I must put my left shoe on first, and if I spill salt, I’m tossing it like it’s instinct. Listen to the break and let me know what weird little rituals you’ve accidentally picked up.
We've all got those meals we go to when we're close to payday, or even just can't be bothered to throw anything remotely complicated together. From Grilled Cheese to a plain tortilla, there's lots out there!
We sparked a surprisingly heated debate: what actually makes something a burger versus a sandwich? Is it the meat, the bun, the way it’s built, or just what we’ve always called it? Add chicken, fish, and veggie burgers into the mix, and suddenly there are no rules… just strong opinions.
Comedian and actress passed away on Friday, and Matt talks a bit about the impact she had on him growing up.

I've realized my morning routine is about as simple as it gets. Wake up, shower, get dressed, and head out the door. No breakfast, maybe stop for a coffee or energy drink on the way in to the station. But I'm curious, what does YOUR morning routine look like! Let me know, and I just might try it out and report back!
I thought it was going to be something fun to play casually, but I am fully hooked on Mario Kart! After getting a secondhand Nintendo Switch over the Holidays, I have become OBSESSED with kart and tire combos, character selection, and even watching videos on the best "racing line" on a level! It's more or less harmless, but it's become a complete obsession! Do you have any harmless obsessions?
The Holidays have come and gone, and I had an absolute blast! I was able to visit my parents, and see some other family, which is always a lovely thing. One of the biggest highlights for me was my conversation with my cousin's kid. He was very bright, and kept me on my toes!
This time of year, Christmas music is a guarantee, no matter where you go. And most of us have songs we like, or at least can tolerate! But, sometimes, we encounter some Christmas songs we just can't do. For me, Randy Bachman's "Takin' Care of Christmas", and "Christmas Shoes" by Newsong do it for me. What about you? Let us know in the comments, or text 321-321!
Love it or hate it, Christmas music is a pretty inevitable thing this time of year. But I think it's safe to say each of us has at least one or two Christmas tunes we can get on board with! What are yours?
Frozen the Musical brings all of the fun, and heartfelt goodness that the movie has, to the WMCA stage this week! I was able to chat with James and Tiana about the upcoming show!
This weekend, Bounce is getting into the Holiday spirit with the Countdown to Christmas! Think of it as dipping your toes into the Christmas Music that inevitably shows up this time of year. It's inevitable, like your co-worker Donna's homemade butter tarts showing up, and just staring at you from the staff kitchen!
It's a delicious tradition in Brandon, and it's back for another year! The MICA Holiday Buffet will be next week, and tickets go on sale today!
Bounce Radio spoke with Heidi Clarke, Executive Director of the Sandals Foundation, about their critical work in Jamaica following Hurricane Melissa. The foundation has been delivering thousands of food and water packages, medical equipment, and rebuilding support to devastated communities, while ensuring their employees and families are safe. Clarke emphasized their partnership with local hospitals and relief organizations to rest...
The province is moving ahead with plans for an overpass at Highways 1 and 5 near Carberry, the site of the tragic 2023 bus crash that claimed 17 lives. The design phase starts next year, and the project is expected to cost more than $100 million. Some people are asking why not just install traffic lights, but on a major highway with vehicles moving at 100 km/h, that could create its own risks. I’m no expert, but there’s...
Big win for Assiniboine College! Culinary students Alicia Decosse and Presley Kuharski just cooked their way to gold at the Cooks the Books competition in Toronto. They went head-to-head with teams from across Canada and wowed the judges with creativity and skill. A $3,000 bursary and national bragging rights? That’s how you do it! Alicia and Presley, if you’re up for showing off those skills on-air, Bounce Mornings wou...
Boiled hot dogs don’t count, unless you’re really leaning into the chaos of National Men Make Dinner Day. This one’s for the guys who usually avoid the kitchen but are now armed with a spatula and a dream. The rules are simple: four ingredients, one real utensil, and no outsourcing the cleanup. If it all goes sideways, just pivot to National Sandwich Day and call it a win.
Did you hear Tom Brady cloned his dog? No, that's not the set up to an incredible dad joke, it's true. When his dog Lua passed in 2023, some blood was collected, and used to create his current dog, Junie. This was done by a company that's working on bringing the Woolly Mammoth out of extinction. Personally, I'm of the opinion that pets come into our lives for the amount of time they're meant to, so it would be a hard pass for me, b...

Fear thrives in silence and confusion. Ana Navarro rejects both. Her voice is an antidote to today’s chaos. Her new podcast, Bleep! with Ana Navarro, takes on today’s most pressing issues with the voices most connected to it: decision-makers, political leaders, cultural shapers, and people on the frontlines of the story. The conversations acknowledge the emotions we all feel—despair, sadness, fear— but emerge with knowledge, perspective, and hope. The belief is simple: fearless dialogue can transform fear into courage, and courage into change. When fear dominates the headlines, this show digs deeper. Because information, debate, and conversation don’t just ease fear, they give us power to shape the future.
