Free Speech for Scotland

Alistair McConnachie, Director of Scottish Unionist group, A Force For Good, hosts our Saturday Street Stall and delivers another comprehensive message, which includes our Free Speech For Scots submission to the 'Justice Committee' at Holyrood regarding the anti-free speech laws which it is proposing; the morally questionable notion of 'aggravated' offences; and how Humza Yousaf could fall foul of his own law; the dangers of this Bill trying to 'create a crime without the guilty mind'; the awfulness of trying to make everyone in a company liable for the words of another; and the importance of putting forward a very strong Freedom of Expression clause as we have detailed in our Submission (see link below).

We're also speaking about why the PM needs an official Office in Scotland that Nicola visits, instead of the other way around; the importance of understanding devolution as a vertical, not horizontal relationship; our welcome message to Boris, in his capacity as the Prime Minister of Scotland; the importance of using the correct terminology and STOP talking about a 'Scottish Government' – it is the Scottish Administration, a devolved arm of the British State!
