Let's get into it. The layoverof hope. When you're in a

situation and you don't know the outcome, the one thing that God wants you
to do is to remind yourself ofwhere you're going and not remain in the
place that you are. It isso important to remember that even though you're

in a situation right now, itdoes not mean that you will be there
forever. It does not mean thatGod will not come and take you to
your destination. See, sometimes thesurroundings of where you are will want to

get you into the mindset that thisis all you have, that you are
not going anywhere. But the Lordsays otherwise. He says, I want
you to remember that you are juston a line. This is not your
final destination. You're going somewhere.Somebody say, I am going somewhere.

What if the person on a tripwas traveling and they literally forgot that they
were on their way to some placethat they had been preparing for, that
the Lord had been guiding them for. But they had a stop in the
middle of their journey. The stoptook longer than what they thought that it

was going to take. But seeour scripture for today, Our scripture for
today. In Psalm twenty seven fourteen, it says, to wait on the
Lord, be of good courage andhuman shall strengthen your heart. Wait,

I say on the Lord. Andthat definition of weight has so many interpretations
because the weight is saying one thing. But this is what it's truly saying.

(05:48):
The weight here is asking you tolook for and be in confident,
hopeful expectation. It is wanting anexpected hope, that you know your God

(06:13):
is coming back for you, thatyou are not doubtful that God said he
was going to do something. Youknow that God has spoken, and you
know, even though you're in oneseason, he will not leave you there.

(06:34):
God says, this is only alayover. This is not your destination.
I want you to begin to pickup your bags. I want you
to begin to look at your boardingpast and remind yourself, God has a
destination for my life. This isnot it, no matter what it looks

like, no matter what this situationmay be, saying, God has a
plan and purpose and like our affirmationfor today Psalm twenty seven fourteen. I
will wait on the Lord. Iwill be strong and have good courage,
and yes, God will strengthen myheart as I confidently wait. Somebody say

that with me. I will wait, Oh the Lord. Confidently, I
expect, and I take courage.I pick up courage. Even though this

surrounding wants me to lose every facetof it. It wants me to think
that God has left me. Isee so many planes taking off left and
right, and it wants me tothink that God is not there for me,
that God has literally abandoned me.But God says, take courage and

wait on me, Wait on me. Do not think that I have left
you. Do not think that Ido not see you. I want you
to know that I am right here. Yes things are moving around you.

(08:50):
Yes there's storms, Yes there's movement. Yes you may not be where you
want to be. But I wantyou to remind yourself and I have a
place and a purpose for you.This is only your layover. This is
only your layover. I want youto begin to declare and to create.

(09:13):
I will not surpass the layover ofGod in my life. I will be
of good courage begin to say thisfamily, I will be of good courage
as he is shrinththing me. Iwill wait for God. I expect my

(09:39):
God. Yeah, this is yourlayover, and I feel encouraged to say

(10:18):
to someone that God will never leaveyou nor forsake you. He will never
leave you or forsake you, nomatter what you're feeling. That's not who

(10:41):
your God is, so shake thatoff. It's reminded me of the Garden
of Eden, where Adam and Evewere in their surroundings, almost as if
they had forgotten that they were ina layover time God was coming back to

(11:03):
speak to them. They were justin a layover. What can God trust
you with in this layover? Canhe give you all that he wants to
give you or will you just squanderit and say, forget about it.

(11:24):
I'm just gonna stay here forget aboutit. I can't take this anymore.
God, I can't take waiting anymore. I don't want to wait, I
don't want to be patient. Idon't want to expect anymore. See Eve
and Adam, they got restless inthe waiting. I want you to begin

(11:45):
to declare I will remain confidence inthe Lord as I wait and hope on
him. I am brave. Beginto say this as you're building your spirit.

I am brave, and I takecourage. Yes, yes, yes,
I wait, yes, yes,yes, I hope and I expect
the Lord. He has not forgottenme. That's right, that's right,

Thank you Jesus. Whatever emotion,whatever season, whatever doubt, whatever failure,
God has not forgotten you. Godhas not forgotten you. It's just

the lay over. Look at yourboarding past. The season is about to
come to a stop, and you'reabout to go to where God wants to
take you, where He wanted totake you. Will you expect and wait

about the layover, I wasn't surewhere he wanted to go. But that's
