verse because the Lord is really highlightingsome things in affirmation. Family, we
are going into freedom, So buckleup, let's get started on today's broadcast

(03:01):
Romans eight twelve through thirteen. Therefore, brothers, we are debtors not to
the flesh, not to live accordingto the flesh, For if you live

(03:24):
according to the flesh, you willdie. But if you live by the
spirit, you will live. Forby the spirit you put to death the
deeds of the body. Yesterday weread scripture where Jesus spoke that he did

(03:49):
not come down to do the willof his own flesh, his own will.
He came to do the will ofthe Father. We have a responsibility
as women and as men of God, to say, who am I going

(04:09):
to follow? What flesh am Igoing to live by my own or the
flesh that was buried, died andresurrected on the cross. For me,
will I live by the spirit?Or will I live by my own judgment
and reality? Because that is whatromans Ad is speaking about. It's a

(04:30):
reality that will you actually receive thatyou are no longer living according to what
you conceive, what you do,what your birth, what you're capable of,
or will you live by and accordingto the realm of the spirit.

(04:56):
In the beginning of the scripture,it says we are debtors, not to
the flesh. That means you don'towe the flesh anything. You don't owe
the flesh a thing. So guesswhat when it tempts you, when your

(05:16):
flesh calls and says, go sin, or go delay, or go be
disobedient, or you don't have todo that? Did God really call you?
Are you really sure about that? The flesh is speaking all the time.
The flesh wants you to get introuble and wants you to sin and
want you to disobey God. Becausethe flesh is from the world that unfortunately

(05:41):
Satan is controlling at the moment,Little g God of this world, God
of the air, the flesh isnatural, as we saw in Adam and
Eve, to disobey God. Butguess what, we have a savior,

(06:05):
and that savior's name is Jesus. That means that you don't have to live
fighting your flesh. You don't haveto live in a rat raisdom, fight
these things and these temptations every day, hoping that by the end you would
sacrifice enough things for you to bemade righteous. Guess what Jesus said,

(06:28):
I see, and I will godown Father, And I will not go
down to accomplish my own will, but I will go down to accomplish the
will of my father. And becausehe did that, because he was faithful
to his own will, that iswhy you and me are able to stand
today and to see the salvation ofthe Lord. It is not because Jesus
came down and did what he wantedto do and lift according to his flesh.

(06:51):
Because we read yesterday that he said, I didn't come to do my
own will. He recognized that hehad a will, but he came to
do the will of the Father.I want to ask you today, whose
will are you deciding to obey. It's a choice. Your will is a
choice. Your will is what youThe definition of the will in the Greek

(07:17):
is what you wish or determine shallbe done. So you're making a choice.
You're making a choice. If thisis what I want to do,
I'm going to put my decision toit. When God says I want you
to begin to write a blog,or I want you to begin to pray

(07:38):
for this one person, I wantyou to begin to give to this give
to this ministry. You deliberately makea choice by your own will when you
decide otherwise, and as we listento yesterday, you're going down a path
through a current of sponsor, byyour own will that will lead to death.
It will lead to death. Itwill lead to death spiritually and naturally.

(08:03):
Jesus said, I have come sothat you may have life, and
life more abundantly. Hallelujah, hallelujah. Your your will is your choice,
it's your inclination, it's your desire. And let me tell you this is
the way that you begin to fillup your will with the will of God.

(08:24):
It's when your inclinations become the willof God. It's when you spend
your time saturated in the presence ofGod that you say, my will is
the lie of a desire to dothe will of God. I can hear
it's in the background. I canhear my flesh. It's in the background.
It's not before me. It's notthe megaphone. It's not that it's

(08:45):
not blaring before me, because it'sI've suppressed it to a place where I
can push it away because God's word, God's spirit is around me. I
want you to get to a placeaffirmation, family, where you are begin
to be sat it is all aroundyou, that the spirit of God will
be so heavily around you, saturatedinundated in your mind and your spirit and

(09:09):
your body, that it will bethe first thing that comes to your mind.
Jesus went away and prayed, andhe talked to the Lord, and
he had so much pressure. Canyou imagine the pressure. Can you imagine
the pressure that Jesus was feeling.Yet he said, Yet he said,

(09:30):
what did he say? Not mywill, but thy will be done.
I want you to begin to declarethat right now, not my will,
but the will of my Father willbe done. Not might I don't hear
you. Come on, say itwith your heart, with a glad heart,

(09:54):
because you're saying yes to a life. You're saying yes to moving away
from death. Yeah, the scripturessay that when you live according to your
flesh, to the will, toyour desires, you're saying yes to death.
You're saying yes the pleasures. You'resaying yes to carnality. But begin

(10:18):
to declare, God, I willlive a life that pleases you in Jesus'
fame, hallelujah, I will livea life that pleases you, that pleases
might. Begin to declare this affirmyour atmosphere, because guess what the Desireelujah.

(10:39):
The decisions that you make, family, they will affect your children,
whether you have them now, whetherthey're grown, or whether they're unborn yet,
or whether they're just babies. Thedecisions that you wake, the will
that you make will begin to affectyour children. Whether you decide to follow
God to affect your children and willaffect the men and women that that they

(11:03):
become. It will affect what isbirth from you. It's not just you,
it is what proceeds out of you. Are you producing life from the
spirit or death from the flesh? Are you doing things because you desire them?

(11:26):
Begin to talk to the Lord andtell him he is first in your
life. Hallelujah. How good thatmust sound to the Lord, How good

(12:26):
that sounds to God. There wasa period I shared this about, I
think a year ago, where theLord had me put all over my house
signs, sticky notes to say,put God first. And at first I
thought it was silly, because Isaid, well, who else am I

(12:48):
gonna put first? You know howwe think we're so holy and we're being
obedient. Well, even till today, these little sticky notes by my sink,
in my kitchen, by my dressher, by the closet, by
the bathroom convict me because I knowthat I haven't chosen to choose what's comfortable

(13:15):
in areas. I've chosen to obeymy own will and to skip over the
will of God, thinking he willnot notice. God is a faithful God,
even one so faithful to stewart youremotions and stewart your fears and your

(13:43):
doubts. And I pray that youwill begin to allow God to guide you
and your will, so that therewill be nothing else that still affection that
is reserved for your true creator.Let that will, that determination be to

(14:15):
obey a mighty God, the spiritof God. In Jesus' name, We
praise your name God. I loveyou Affirmation family, and I will see
you and speak to you tomorrow
