Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hurt us. It could really put us in a position
that we can't afford to be in love a dying
go All right, this is the Angry Dad. Thank you

(00:21):
guys for tuning in. I appreciate it, you know. And
before we get in today's podcast, like thank my podcast
sponsors every Day fit Life. This is a program. This
is a thing that teaches you. This is something that
you read, you follow the instructions, and it helps set
the habits you need to learn to eat right, exercise right,

(00:42):
and just help you make that pivot, make that change
that we all want in losing weight and feeling great
and all that good shit. And it's all about healthy habits.
I'm not talking about completely uprooting and changing how you eat,
how you train, how you work outs. Like no, it
is something that gives you the one, two, three steps
in setting up better habits. And you can do this

(01:04):
with every Day Fit Life. Use my code at check
out for twenty percent off. That's every Day Fit Life.
You need thirty days, sixty days, ninety days worth of help.
And these thirty sixty and ninety days is just to
help ingrain the pattern ingrain, the steps ingrain. What you
need to know how to lose weight and keep it off,
because that's the main thing too. It's like you develop

(01:27):
these habits, you set up these habits and it's just
something that's easily to be maintained. You don't have to
starve yourself. It's just all about following the instructions. All
right now, it's getting to the show. Believing in yourself
is something you have to do. Believing in yourself is
so freaking hard, you know what I'm saying. There are

(01:49):
so many failures, there are so many patterns, There is
so many things in your life and that's going on,
and it's hard to really commit to yourself. It's really
hard to hold that belief in you. And the reason
it's hard is because sometimes there's no backup plan. Sometimes
you got you got to lay it all out there.

(02:10):
When you fail, it sucks. It's a it's a hard fall,
you know what I'm saying. Because you got to start
from nothing, you got to start from scratch. It's a
completely new beginning. And when you believe in yourself, you
understand that you will make it. You will persevere, you
will push through these difficult patches in your life. You know,

(02:30):
believing yourself is so freaking hard. You know, so many
of us fall short because of it. You know, we
don't have the confidence that we need. We don't have
the confidence required to become successful because just having that belief,
having that spark. You know, a lot of us have
these things in our lives where you know, we're digging

(02:51):
ourselves out of a hole. We're not starting at at
a positive, we're not even starting at at even we're
starting at a deficit. We're starting at in the below zero,
you know what I'm saying. And we struggle just to
maintain what we are, who we are, and what we have.
You know, it's a constant grind. You know, life's never easy.

(03:15):
You know, we struggle and strive to just be at
like a baseline, and just to keep that baseline is
so fucking hard. It's like treading water. You're constantly just
trying to breathe, You're constantly just trying to move, You're
constantly just trying to stay above, you know, and we
have a lot of times when we dip and we

(03:36):
can't breathe, or we're suffocated, we're over stimulated, and we're
stressed the fuck out. You know, a lot of us
don't want to take those big chances because it could
really hurt us, It could really put us in a
position that we can't afford to be in. But that's
the thing. You have to put yourself in these positions.
You have to put yourself in these risky situations in

(03:59):
your life to make a change, to grow, to expand,
for the chance to change your life, for the chance
to become something that you feel you can be. It
fucking sucks. It is fucking hard. There are so many
times in my life where I've wanted to do something

(04:21):
but I just couldn't financially, emotionally, or even be willing
to give up what I had to do it. It
fucking is the hardest fucking thing to overcome. It's one
of those biggest, the biggest pushback you can ever put
on yourself. You know, you have to commit to who

(04:42):
you are and what you believe in. And when you
believe in yourself, it will take you far. It'll take
you where you want to go. It'll put you into
positions that you need to be and to be successful.
It fucking sucks when you lose, but it's great when
you win. And god damn it, there's a lot there's
a lot of losing before there's winning. You know, It's

(05:05):
a lot of emotional stress, physical stress, the anxiety, the
concept of losing it all is just overwhelming. It is.
It's suffocating, all right, because trust me, I've definitely had
those opportunities. I definitely had those chances where I could
have did something, tried something, and I didn't fucking take

(05:28):
them because I just let me stick with you, what's comfortable,
let me stick to what I know, let me just
do my everyday routine, and I can just survive like this.
That was a lot of my life. That was so
much of my life. It took so much courage for

(05:51):
me to step out of what I know to do
something new. And now that I've done that, now that
that is happening, my life is different. It's not what
it used to be. I'm not scared to try new things.
I'm not scared to fucking put into work. I'm not
scared to fucking jump over these fucking hurdles, all right.

(06:14):
Sometimes the task looks hard, but it's one step at
a time, it's one moment at a time, it's one
thing at a time. And by breaking these down into
much easier steps, for myself, It's given me a lot
more confidence in what I can do. It's helped me
believe in myself in what I'm capable of doing, because

(06:38):
that's one of those things that we all need to
understand that we are capable of handling what we want.
We are capable of doing the things that we want
to do. We just have to believe in ourselves. We
have to have that confidence in ourselves. We have to
build up that confidence. You know, some of us are
lucky and we're born with it. We just have that drive.

(07:00):
They have the genetics, they have the ability to just do,
but there's a lot of us that don't. And we
have to build up that strength. We have to build
up that courage, We have to build up that belief
to push ourselves forward. And it takes a lot of
breaking down and a lot of building up to get there.
But over time, I promise you you will get there.

(07:25):
You just have to start with one fucking thing that
you want to fucking do to change your fucking life.
You have to believe in yourself just one fucking time
and get it done. And if there's a failure, guess what.
Believe in yourself one more time. Again, there's a lot
of pushing, there's a lot of back and forth. There's

(07:45):
a lot of thought that a lot of us put
into what we're trying to achieve in our lives. But
to achieve those things, you have to go through those things.
I don't know how many times I'd start a new
job not knowing what I'm going to do, not knowing
what the job is. I'm just new on the fucking floor.
This is all new to me, and I'm fucking nervous,

(08:06):
and I'm over fucking whelmed, and I'm stressed to fuck out.
But every time I've started something new, I've gotten good
at it. I've gotten great at it. And because I
have done those things, and because every time that I
fucking leveled up, every time I've gotten a new position,
every time I've gotten a new job, every time I've
tooken on a new task, I've always realized that I

(08:28):
can do it, that I can achieve it, that I
can handle it. I haven't been handed something in front
of me that I can't fucking tackle because I'm willing
just to die fucking forward, handle it, get it fucking done,
learn every fucking aspect about it, and hit it. From
every fucking direction, So then I can achieve my fucking goals,
achieve my fucking dream, achieve the position that I want

(08:50):
to put myself in. You know, it's one of those
things that can be stressful in our lives. But that's okay.
Which stress comes test. When you get tested and you
pass that test, guess the fuck what, it's fucking great.
The feeling you have is fucking just emotional. But when

(09:13):
you fail that test, when you get put under that
pressure and you fucking crack, guess the fuck what, it's
a test. You can take it again. It's not a
one time fucking deal out here. We have all the
redos we could ever want in our lives. You just
got to make sure that you fucking take that fucking
chance again. You put yourself in that position again. You

(09:34):
achieve that goal, you achieve that dream, You fucking persevere,
you stand the fuck up, you fucking pick up your
fucking chin, and you understand that, hey, one time doesn't
mean shit. I can do this, I can push forward.
You know, I say these things and I talk about
these because this is my life. You know, I fucking

(09:58):
started from nothing. Help myself fucking up. You know, people
say that you need to have all this education, you
need to have all this training, you need to do
all these things. Guess the fuck what, No education, no
fucking training, just the willingness to work my fucking ass
off to get to where I want to fucking be.

(10:19):
I'm just like everybody fucking else out here in this
fucking world, just trying to fucking make it, but willing
to do what it takes to fucking make it. Whether
it fucking feels good or not, I'm willing to fucking
do what it fucking takes to fucking make it. You
had to have this fucking attitude. You have to have
this understanding, You had to have this belief in yourself

(10:41):
to understand that I can fucking do it. I can
fucking handle it. Because you can't handle it, you can
fucking do it. I fucking believe in you because I
believe in my fucking self, and because I can believe
in myself, I know you fucking can't too. Because I've
had all the ups, I've had, all the fucking downs,
I've had, all the fucking trauma, I've had, all the
fucking bullshit throw it in my fucking face, and yet

(11:04):
I still stand here. Yet I still push forward, yet,
I still try to make shit fucking happen, and I'm
constantly believing myself, but also understand that sometimes you gotta
fake it to make it. You gotta fucking feel, you
gotta make yourself believe that you believe in yourself. You
have to make sure that you have to fucking just

(11:24):
tell yourself repeatedly, because that's what I've done. I still
have times. I still have fucking moments where I fucking
give up. I don't fucking believe I can do it.
I can't fucking handle it. This fucking sucks. It fucking
like I like, I just want to go back to
what I fucking know. But yet I still fucking do it.

(11:45):
Yet I still fucking push forward. Yet again, I just
make sure I believe. I tell myself. I believe. I
tell myself I'm strong enough. I tell myself I can
fucking handle this, because once I get over those little emotions,
once I get over that anxiety, maybe once I get
over that over stimulation of whatever the fucking situation is,
I am strong enough. I do have enough fucking courage.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
And that's the same thing for you. You have to let
yourself know every fucking time, whether you say it in
your head or you say it out loud, you gotta
speak it to the fucking truth. You can fucking handle it.
You can fucking do it. You fucking got this shit.
What you want to do in your life, what you
want to do for your life, what you want to
fucking become true in.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
Your life, is up to you. And it takes you
believing in yourself and understanding that you fucking got this.
Because I say you got this, understand I'm the person
holding up the fucking the finish line for you, letting
you know that you can fucking get the shit fucking done,
that you can fucking handle this. All your hard work

(12:50):
will pay you the fuck off. I tell you, I'm
telling you. This is what I fucking believe in you.
This is why I fucking believe in you, because if
I can do it, you can do it. I'm the
average fucking person. I'm the fucking this, the the fucking
regular fucking dad. I'm the regular fucking person, the fucking
co worker, the person that's fucking standing next to you,

(13:11):
who's done all the exact same jobs that you have
fucking done. That fucking suck and and always talk about
fucking I want something better, I want something fucking more.
I think I can do this, I think I can
try this. I think I should go to school. Guess
the fuck what you can You can do it all,
and it just takes you starting. It takes you believing
in yourself. It takes you to have the confidence to understand,

(13:35):
never give up, always push forward, and you can always
start again. So guess the fuck what this is the
angry motherfucking dad. You want to watch my shit YouTube?
