Speaker 1 (00:00):
Long ago, before this days confusion did be again throughout
the stars did we go wandering distance, was no barrier
(00:21):
and time and had no hole. Free to come and
free to you, free to come and free to go.
(00:42):
Open of the boat, the bows on the boot. Hello everyone,
(01:02):
and welcome to Karmic Evolution's astrologically speaking podcast. I'm your host,
Sherry horn has Son of Karmic Evolution Astrology, and I'm
coming to you on September twelfth from Karmicevolution dot com
or any of your other favorite podcast stations. First, before
we begin with this week's astro news, you can news
(01:25):
my usual quick reminder that's this podcast aims to bring
you the truth about astrology and your soul's karmic evolution,
and that a new podcast drops every Friday at eleven
am Pacific and two pm Eastern, again on most major
podcast platforms, in addition to Karmic Evolution dot com. And
before we get into the rest of the news, I
(01:48):
want to reiterate my basic motto or mantra if you will,
as it pertains to my perspective about the importance of
using astrological insight to navigate our lives and the world
around us, and that is as follows, the universe is benign.
It has no vested interest in making any of us suffer. Rather,
(02:12):
it provides us with opportunities every moment of every day
to grow in consciousness. It's simply up to each of
us to recognize such moments, and when we don't, it's
not like the universe gives up. So, you know, many
people don't realize that they're simply repeating habitual behaviors that
(02:35):
became combitioned from past experiences. And whether those experiences are
from solely early in this lifetime or from past life karma,
I'm not sure if it matters. But the real question
is what's the origin of our repeated behaviors, the ones
that may be driven by our unconscious rather than our
(02:57):
conscious or the conscious portion of our And this is
why I continue to offer my discounted Karmic Evolution seventy
five minute natal insight reading for those who are interested
in gaining such greater insight through astrological energies into why
you are here and what issues, habits and behaviors may
(03:21):
still plague you from the past. So whether again these
behavioral patterns stem from earlier in this lifetime or from
past lives. My mission is to help you better understand
through the lens of my archetypal, psychological and evolutionary training
and professional practice by using your chart as your guide
(03:41):
to your own specific individual heroes journey in this lifetime.
So again, as I like to say, the universe is benign,
it has no vested interest in harming any of us,
and a Karmic evolution natal insight reading can help you
realize that your natal or your birth chart, those two
(04:01):
terms are synonymous, is your map, your roadmap to shaking
off the tendency to doing the same thing over and
over and expecting different results, which, as we all know,
Albert Einstein coined as the definition of insanity. Right, And
that's true, whether it's related to relationships, your career, your finances,
(04:23):
your health, or whatever. Each of us has a different journey.
They may overlap in terms of archetypes, okay, but we
all have individual specific experiences that lead, as I said before,
to these unconscious repetition of behaviors. So again, if you're
(04:47):
interested in the seventy five minute discounted Karmic Evolution Natal
Insight Reading, which is offered to podcast listeners, only please
shoot me an email at Sherry. That's sa at Karmievolution
dot com. As I like to say, astrological insight and
(05:09):
greater consciousness has never been so easy or so affordable.
All right, So let's get into this week's astro news
you can use, and there's a bunch of it. So
let me start with the reminder that was still in
the Virgo New Moon monthly lunar cycle, which began on
August twenty second or twenty third, depending on your time zone,
(05:31):
which asked us to take good care of ourselves so
that we can be of better service to others. And
the fact that which we discussed last week, Uranus then
stationed retrograde at one degree and twenty eight minutes of
Gemini on September sixth, just before we reached the first
eclipse of this fall series at the Pisces full moon
(05:56):
total lunary clips on September seventh, and that brought us
to the apex or climax climax, if you will, of
this month's lunar cycle. At this Pisces full moon, we
were asked to let go of controlling our environment in
an effort to achieve perfection. And this was aptly illustrated
(06:17):
as we waxed toward the first quarter crisis in action
monthly lunar square between the Sagittarius moon and the Virgo
sun on August thirtieth or thirty first, again depending on
your time zone, and this was when we were made
leading up to that point acutely aware of efforts by
the US federal government to control cities by threats to
(06:40):
send in federal troops. We already know that they've sent
federal troops to LA and to Washington, d C. But
it was on August twenty eighth when nineteen Democratic governors
warned President Trump not to send troops to their cities.
Now I've discussed this previously, but what I want to
reiterate is that because we're in Virgo season, and because
(07:03):
we experienced a Pisces full moon lunary clips that oppose
the Virgo sun and South node, which are asking us
to release our attachment to controlling our environment and to
let it go and let it flow. We can note
now how much of this attempted control has placed an
emphasis or come at us through statistics, data and documents
(07:27):
given virgos archetypal association with both sacred geometry and numerology. Now,
not only those data and statistics related to our economy,
you know, such as the recent drop in I'm sorry
rise and unemployment and inflation rates, but also, as I
(07:48):
outlined in last week's podcast, through the theme of this
set of eclipses, which includes important paperwork, you know, such
as paperwork related to accuse sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. In
like the infamous birthday book, which since its release to
Congress posts urin a retrograde and posts eclipse on September eighth,
(08:09):
includes proof of Trump's submission, which of course he denied making.
So let's look back now at what I quoted astrologer
Ronnie Dreyer as having said in her September first newsletter.
But also remember we're still under the astrological influence of
the currently waxing Saturn Pluto cycle, which began in Capricorn
(08:31):
in January of twenty twenty, and that this depicts that
a global realignment is going to occur within the next
thirty six years or so from that date. So here's
what Ronnie drier said, quote, you're in a station's retrograde
on the sixth total lunary eclipse on the seventh and
(08:53):
partial solar eclipse on the twenty first. You're in a
station's retrograde the day before the total Pisse's full moon
lunary clips I discovered. She wrote over many years that
often when a total eclipse and a retrograde station occur
within a week of each other, major sudden events often
(09:14):
take place and range from earthquakes or other major meteorological disasters, revolutions,
overthrow of governments, leaders resigning or leaving due to illness
or death, and other events. So on September one, we
had the six magnitude earthquake in Afghanistan, which I mentioned
(09:35):
on last week's podcast, in which their government still calculates
left approximately two thousand, two hundred fatalities, And by September
eighth and ninth, Newsweek reported that we learned of an
earthquake and its aftershocks off the coast of the state
(09:55):
of Oregon. Quote of five point eight magnitude earthquakes struck
off the coast of Oregon at around ten thirty pm
local time on Monday night, which was September eighth. The
US Geological Survey said, as reported by Reuters, I'm sorry
I said it was Newsweek. It's re Reuters. I'm quoting
(10:18):
from quote. Two. More tremors struck the area soon afterwards,
measuring at three point three magnitude and four point nine magnitude.
The article continues, noting also that the first and largest
quake had a depth of around eight point five miles
and that there was no tsunami threat reported. Now let's
(10:39):
look at revolutions, government overthrows, and leaders resignation, illness or deaths.
On September eighth, two days after Uranus's retrograde station and
one day after the lunar eclipse, the French government of
Francois Bahux. I hope I pronounced that right, because I've
never taken a French lesson in my entire life, and I,
(11:01):
you know, grew up in New York, so that New
York ye Ken accent. Sometimes it creeps in when you
least expect it. Anyway, Francois Bairroux, a centrist prime minister
who has been in office for just nine months, collapsed
on Monday. The French government of him collapse, not the
man himself. On Monday, in the latest sign of a
(11:22):
France reduced to chronic political instability and incapacity to confront
its growing financial crisis. According to The New York Times,
which continues, the National Assembly, or lower house of Parliament,
voted overwhelmingly against mister Bearux in a confidence motion he
had called with the aim of setting out the gravity
(11:43):
of France's ballooning debt and budget deficit and the need
to confront them by finding annual savings of at least
fifty one billion dollars, now, you know, in France. What's more,
the most interesting to note is this quote, again from the article.
(12:04):
The French buzzet budget deficit is now nearly one hundred
ninety eight billion, or five point eight percent of economic output,
well above the three percent limit set by the European
Union for countries using the euro currency. Again, according to
the Times, in his speech, mister Bayrouse said that his
aim was to reduce the deficit to three percent by
(12:25):
twenty twenty nine. The national debt is now equal to
one hundred and fourteen percent of total economic output. Now,
in this next statement by the New York Times, note
the correlation between what's been happening there and what's been
happening here in the United States. Quote. The core of
the economic issue is one of national identity. In France,
(12:48):
the social safety net, which includes education, health care and pensions,
is the near sacred expression of the revolution's call, meaning
the French Revolution's call for a fraternal society, and the
article continues, Any attempt to curtail social benefits is near anathema,
as was made clear by an intense conflict in twenty
(13:11):
twenty three over French President mister Macrone's decision to raise
the retirement age to sixty four from sixty two, and
by the furious response to mister Bayu's proposal to eliminate
two public holidays in order to increase production and raise
tax revenue. And the article continues. Mister Macrone's whatever it
(13:33):
takes response to the COVID nineteen crisis, in which salaries
were effectively nationalized in many cases, also added to the
current grave imbalance. Any future leader of whatever stripe will
face the dilemma of demanding changes that France has staunchly resisted,
unlike European countries from Scandinavia to Germany that have curtailed
(13:56):
their welfare states end. So my question is does that
sound reminiscent of the US Congress's July third passage and
the signing on the July fourth by Donald Trump of
his big beautiful bill that's going to cut Medicaid and
healthcare and nutritional benefits for millions of people over the
(14:17):
next decade. Clearly, the attempt here is to reduce the
nation's budget deficit, and like France, is being strongly resisted.
So stay tuned for both the outcome over there and
the outcome over here as the US heads toward its
twenty twenty six midterm elections. Next, we have the resignation
(14:38):
of Japanese Prime Minister Shigero Ishiba, who resigned on Sunday,
September seventh, quote, ushering in a potentially lengthy period of
policy uncertainty at a shaky moment for the world's fourth
largest economy, according to Reuters, which continues quote. Having just
ironed out final details of a train deal with United
(15:01):
States to lower President Trump's punishing tariffs, Ishiba's sixty eight
told a press conference he must take responsibility for a
series of bruising election losses. Ishiba sixty eight came to
power less than a year ago and faced voter backlash
over rising living costs. According to Reuters, he noted Reuters
(15:24):
said that he waited for a US trade deal before
stepping down, and then we have The New York Times
report on September nineteenth, headlined Nepali troops moved to restore
order as death toll rises to twenty two. The chaos,
according to the Time, stemmed from a government ban issued
(15:44):
last week on major social media platforms that lit a
fuse on years of anger and frustration over corruption and
economic inequality. Now I don't know about you, but I
don't know too much about Nepal, and that came as
a bit of a sup to me anyway. The article
goes on quote protesters defied a curfew to set fire
(16:06):
to government buildings and the homes of politicians as unrest
over censorship and economic issues continued, and again quoting the
article social media is a critical tool in Nepal, where
many citizens work abroad and send money back home. Last week,
the authorities banned twenty six services, including we Chat, YouTube
(16:28):
and LinkedIn, which it said had failed to register with
the government. By Tuesday morning, they were all back online.
End quote. So I'm saying, remember too that transiting Uranus
now retrograde in early Gemini is training Pluto in Aquarius
in early Aquarius, that both at one degree and some minutes,
(16:49):
and that trines are easy energies but not necessarily always
fortuitous ones. I told you. Trines are likened by traditionalist
Bernadett Brady to having the wind at your back when
you're ice skating. If any of you, like me, remember
that feeling of not having control, then I think you'll
(17:13):
understand what I'm trying to say. So tribes can simply signify,
as in this case be based on the archetypal meanings
of the planets and science, that they're in disempowerment of
groups through a sudden change in communication. I rest my case. Meanwhile,
Gemini also represents youth, and the demonstrators in Nepal, who
(17:36):
appeared to be mostly teenagers and young adults, according to
the New York Times quote, have embraced the label gen
Z protest. Free speech is prized in Nepal, which has
maintained robust space for debate as similar rights have shrunk
in other South Asian countries. There is an economic crisis.
An outrage has also been growing over economic inequality and
(17:59):
what many Nepalese see as the government's failure to aggressively
pursue high profile corruption cases, but the biggest country's biggest
lingering crisis centers on jobs. And then on September ninth,
the Associated Press ran this headline and news piece quote,
NATO scrambles jets to shoot down Russian drones in Poland,
(18:22):
raising fears of war spillover. Multiple Russian drones crossed into
Poland in what European officials describe Wednesday as a deliberate provocation,
causing NATO to send fighter jets to shoot them down.
A NATO spokesman said it was the first time the
Alliance confronted a potential threat in its airspace again. According
(18:43):
to the ap which continues, Polish airspace has been violated
several times since Russia's full scale invasion of Ukraine in
twenty twenty two, but there has been nothing on the
scale of Wednesday's violations in Poland or in any other
NATO country. The incursion, which occurred during a wave of
strikes by the Kremlin on Ukraine, and the NATO response,
(19:07):
swiftly raised fears that the war could spill over, a
fear that has been growing in Europe as Russia steps
up its attacks and peace efforts go nowhere. Poland requested
an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council on the
drone incursion, and the article continues. South Korea's UN Mission,
which holds the Council presidency this month, said the time
(19:30):
was being discussed. Russia's defense ministry said it did not
target Poland, while Belarus, a close ally of Moscow, said
it tracks some drones that quote lost their course because
they were jammed and again, the article continues. However, several
European leaders said they believed the incursion amounted to an
(19:52):
intentional expansion of Russia's assault against Ukraine quote Russia's war
is escalating, not end. European Union foreign policy chief Kaja
Kalas told reporters in Brussels, what Russian President Vladimir Putin
wants to do is test us. What happened in Poland
is a game changer and it should result in stronger sanctions.
(20:17):
And then, also on September ninth, the New York Times
reported quote, Israel attempts to kill Hamas leadership in airstrike
on Cutter, a Gaza war mediator, and it continues. The
Gulf nation of Kutter has been trying to negotiate a
ceasefire in the conflict. The attack threatened to destabilize those
(20:37):
peace efforts. Quote. The Israeli strike on a Hamas meeting
where the group said its officials were discussing a ceasefire
proposal backed by President Trump, threatened to undermine negotiations over
the Gaza war. The direct attack on Qatar's territory Cutter's
territory also risked antagonizing the Katari government and dec stabilizing
(21:00):
its diplomatic efforts in the war, particularly because the country's
political and economic stability hinges on its reputation as a
haven for business and tourism in a volatile region. So
the afternoon attack by Israel's air force hidden area of
the capital Doha that is near schools and embassies, sending
(21:21):
black smoke billowing into the air. The article continues. Ramas
said the Israeli strike had failed to kill senior officials
in the group, without specifying whether they had sustained injuries.
In a statement, the group confirmed that the son of
Ramas's chief negotiator, his office manager, and three other people
(21:43):
affiliated with Ramas had been killed in the attack. Now,
I want to point out also that we have Mars
in Libra at which, yes, which on September tenth was
at twenty two degrees of Libra has been waxing into
(22:06):
opposition to the transiting Chiron Eiras in areas. So I've
spoken about that in the past. Chiron eras chiron woundedness
eris discord, chaos and strife, so we might imply or
(22:28):
infer is the better word that you know, martial action
is going to bring chaos and more wounding than perhaps
necessary in you know, in its aftermath. So while we're
(22:49):
on the subject of murder, as I just spoke about
the attempted murder of the Hamas negotiators on September tenth,
also as this energy between Mars opposing Eiris and Chirn
is in play, right wing influencer Charlie Kirk was shot
(23:09):
to death at a Utah Valley University rally in Aurum, Utah.
Kirk born October fourteenth, nineteen ninety three, in Arlington Heights,
Cook Country, Cook County, Illinois, has no known birth time.
For that reason, I run a noon chart because as
(23:31):
Astrological Society of Princeton's heads, Kennegis taught me a long
time ago that's how you can best pin down the moon.
The moon is obviously the fastest moving planet or body,
and pinning down the moon and determining whether it was
in the same sign during the whole twenty four hours
(23:53):
of the potential time of birth of any given individual
can tell you a lot. So what we know is
that Kirk was indeed born with a Labra son October fourteenth,
but also a Libra moon. And we know the latter
because at noon his moon degree is ten degrees seventeen Libra,
(24:15):
and because a quick check shows us that the moon
is in the same sign from midnight on October fourteenth
until midnight October fifteenth, So a double Libra he was,
though he did not have a conjunction between his sun
and moon, and we don't know his descendant because without
a birth time, it's impossible to ascertain a correct one.
(24:38):
Before I delve more into his chart, however, I'd like
to preface my astrological remarks by first saying that the
truth is that I'd only recently become aware of any
real specifics about Kirk, except for knowing he was a
right wing commentator with a podcast. I'd heard his name
mentioned several times, but didn't really know, as I said
(24:58):
much about him, that he was this young. I didn't know,
nor did I know many facts about him or you know,
the road to his rise to fame in right wing
political circles. That's where my consciousness was when I saw
this post on Facebook by an acquaintance who wrote, quote,
(25:21):
my condolences to Charlie Kirk's family. I have a son
his age. How horrific people, Let's stop shooting each other.
It's someone's son, daughter, mother, father, and etc. And I
replied to her with the following because this was exactly
the same as my gut reaction before having seen this
(25:44):
friend's post, and I wrote back, quote, my son too,
is a year and a half younger than Kirk, And
that was my first thought as well. We must be
human before we're political. I did not agree with his
ideology or his politics, but my heart cannot help but
go out to his parents, wife, and young children for
(26:06):
a life taken too soon. And then I wrote the quote,
no man is an island, no man stands alone. Each
man's joy is joy to me. Each man's grief is
my own. However, since his murder, I've come to understand
that he did say quite a few things with which
(26:26):
I completely disagree, and that he influenced a great deal
of young people, especially leading up to the election of
Donald Trump in November twenty twenty four. I was interested
in what Keith Olberman said on his Countdown podcast yesterday
morning on September eleventh about Charlie Kirk's murder September eleventh,
(26:52):
the same day as the commemoration of the horrific events
of nine to eleven, of course, and said this quote
this new America that MAGA wants, and the fact that
Trump has spent the last decade stochastically calling for violence
against his opposers. I mean, Trump was shot a year ago,
(27:15):
and none of his supporters was willing to support gun restrictions,
he noted, and then he went on, you can have
many reactions to Charlie Kirk's death, and I hope sorrow
and disgust are among them, as they are for me.
But you can be utterly opposed to shooting people but
also believe America's comforting lie that violence has no part
(27:38):
in our political system. Despite the constant call for escalating
violence and murder and the latest rage among right wing commentators,
public executions now of course, that reminds me of January
sixth and the chant of hanging Mike Pence. But Oberman
goes on quote. He goes on to quote a right
(28:02):
wing commentator who has in the past said this quote,
death penalties should be public quick and televised at a
certain age. It's an initiation. He proposed making kids above
the age of twelve watch and suggested guillotines be used,
and suggested pay for view TV sponsored by Coca Cola.
(28:25):
He wanted to broaden the definition of capital offenses and
also wanted the death penalty for anyone opposing Trump. Oberman noted,
and then he went on the same commentator thought it
was just too bad that there's an estimated three hundred
and ninety three million guns in this country, and that
there would be gun deaths always, but that this was
(28:46):
a fair trade off because that was the best way
to protect the Second Amendment. And then he named Charlie
Kirk as the person he was quoting, who on April fifth,
twenty twenty three, said quote, you'll never live in a
society when you have an armed society and never have
(29:06):
some gun deaths. I think it's worth worth it to
have the cost of unfortunately some gun deaths each year,
so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect
our other God given rights. That is a prudent deal,
That is rational. And Oberman went on to say, did
Kirk deserve to get shot because of what he said
(29:28):
or because he said that? No, we should not kill
commentators with guns, we should not kill presidents with guns,
We should not kill Americans with guns. Say it, dedicate
yourself to it. But please forget the cliches and empty
words and how the and the how could this happen
in America? And the where in a bad place and
(29:50):
it's getting worse. These are meaningless We've always been in
this place. They are as meaningless words as are the
insulting fallbacks of but thoughts and prayers. But prior to that,
Olderman listed the number of US presidents, elected officials and
others from the beginning of this nation through to this
(30:13):
current murder of Charlie Kirk and came up with nineteen
I think assassinations or attempted assassinations. But anyway, he says,
you know that if we're opposed to killings based on
people's speech and the fact that they advocate violence, we
(30:36):
should understand that this, he says, don't pretend this is
some great shock, because this has been going on for centuries.
So back to Charlie Kirk's chart for just a moment,
again for which we have no actual birth time, so
we have no ascendant. We do know, however, he is
a Son Jupiter conjunction in libra Son at twenty one,
(31:00):
Jupiter at twenty four, and that he has a ten
degree libra moon which is within nine degrees or show
of the planet Juno. He has a twenty eight degree
venus in Virgo. So let's look at the fact that Mars,
(31:21):
which exact squared Jupiter back on September fourth, which I
discussed on past podcasts that can have a connotation of explosiveness,
and explosiveness usually you know, usually means some kind of violence.
(31:47):
Maybe not always, but usually, right, we talked about that
at the time, So you can go back to last
week or the week before his podcast, but transiting Mars
is now at the time parted time of approximately twelve
twenty pm on September tenth of Charlie Kirk's shooting was
(32:07):
at twenty two degrees and sixteen minutes of Libra just
passed the square from about ten days ago to Jupiter,
which is at nineteen thirty two at that time of cancer,
and that they both were waxing towards or Mars was
(32:28):
just over his twenty one degree twenty one minute libra Sun,
and clearly Jupiter is approaching it. Okay, Yeah, transity Jupiter,
while his natal Jupiter is at twenty four to fourteen limera.
All right, Now, the two things I'll be brief. Two
(32:49):
things that struck out to me or stood out to me,
was that I've mentioned before, we had at this particular
moment in time, Aris, the dwarf planet of chaos, discord,
and strife who brought increased pain and suffering to the
(33:10):
wounded on the battlefield theoretically both sides, all right, not funny, funny,
not funny, was at twenty five degrees and thirty one
minutes of areas, while Chirn and both of them are retrograde,
is at twenty six twenty five areas. So the Moon
(33:32):
at twenty eight twenty ares was waxing towards a square
to transmitting Pluto at one degree thirty seven minutes of Aquarius.
So that's one thing. But Mars is waxing towards an
exact opposition to Eris and Chirn at the time of
(33:53):
his shooting, and they were already over Charlie Kirk's Sun
and Jupiter and heading back towards them. Okay, so let
me just say that clearly, between the Moon square Pluto,
which doesn't have you know, positive implications, especially when the
(34:19):
moon is in aries, and even though it's an out
of signs square that Mars on his son or just
over his son, having just square Jupiter in the sky
heading to conjoin his natal Jupiter, with all of them
opposing both the transiting Mars and his natal Sun and
Jupiter being opposed by Chiron and Aris helps us to
(34:44):
see that, you know, not that this was inevitable, but
there might be some kind of chaotic violence surrounding this
individual on this particular day. Now, the other thing is
that his venus is at hang on a second, because
I don't know the exact degree. It's at twenty eight
(35:07):
to twenty five, No, twenty a, twenty three, hang on,
hang on, hang on, I'm trying to make my chart
bankers at twenty eight twenty three virgo. Let's remember that
on September twenty. First, we have a solar eclipse at
(35:27):
twenty nine oh five Virgo that makes it less than
a degree away from his natal venus, and that of
course that means that the sun and the moon will
conjoin there, all right, But the opposite point to that
(35:48):
eclipse is clearly twenty nine oh five Pisces. And the
part of the reason I mentioned this, and I also
want to mention that Natalie, he has a south note
in gem and I at five and obviously a north
node in in jubiter ruled Sagittarius, which right away tells
(36:10):
us that he's to move away from elementary information, superficial
Geminian seeking that doesn't look beyond its local neighborhood or
its little territory. That's a that's running around kind of
in the labyrinth and trying to figure out which way
to go. But that he was very strident. He's a
(36:33):
Mars Mercury Pluto conjunction in Scorpio, so he was to
move towards a greater expansion of consciousness about his philosophies. Okay, however,
(36:54):
his natal access is squared almost a partile square. He
has a five fourteen Gemini south nodes same degree in
the Sagittarius north node squared by chirn at five four
of Virgo. All right, so this guy's wound had to
(37:18):
do with trying to, I think, given the circumstances, control
what other people believe, rather than widening his own perspective
to open up to others' beliefs. Okay, But the way
that he did it, which was interesting, was through debate
(37:39):
and dialogue. Libras are known for being able to negotiate
and bring two parties together to compromise. But it feels
like because he is a Sun Jupiter conjunction, that was
a hubristic notion of his. There was something a little
bit arrogant about thinking that he could convince people to
(38:02):
think his way when his way was, you know, to
say that one of the problems in the world today
is that there's too much empathy, which is something that
Elon Musk has said as well. Right, So I'm a
bit afraid, I guess is the right word that because
(38:25):
the opposite point of the upcoming eclipse which is going
to hit exactly his venus. And remember that eclipse which
I mentioned last week, started in January of twenty twenty five, right,
because the nodal the transiting nodal access had already hit
(38:46):
twenty nine oh five. It was one of the earliest
degrees right when it regressed back from the sign before
after it that it from you know, Leo, that it
it was going to I'm sorry from whatever it Okay,
I was half right. It starts with an l Okay.
(39:07):
The nodes regress when they transit, So it went back
from Libra into Virgo in January of twenty twenty five,
which means that the south node had already the year
and a half before transited over his natal librin Jupiter,
Sun and Moon and Juno, and is now coming back
(39:32):
to resonate that whatever was started back at that time.
I would only surmise that that was his support of
Donald Trump, who had just been elected president, and his
pride son Jupiter in having had a hand in helping
get people, particularly young people, to vote for Trump. That
(39:57):
you know, this upcome solar eclipse is the culmination of that.
And my fear, what I sort of say before, is
that he will become a right wing martyr, which I
think we are already en route to seeing happen now.
All right, so I want to talk about one other
piece of news which broke late yesterday, which is that,
(40:20):
as per the reporting by NPR News, quote a historic conviction,
Brazil Supreme Court delivers a majority vote to convict former
President Chai Air Bolsonaro over a plot to overthrow the government. Now,
I say, for those of us who deeply regret the
US Senate's inability to convict Donald Trump of insurrection for
(40:43):
the January sixth, twenty twenty one Capitol riot, we may
now live a bit vicariously through the news released yesterday
afternoon on September eleventh, and the NPR article goes on
three of the five justices on the panel voting to
find him guilty of a coup attempt and criminal conspiracy.
(41:03):
The verdict will be historic. It marks the first time
a former Brazilian head of state face trial for attempting
to overthrow the government. The seventy year old far right leader,
a close ally of President Trump, who governed Brazil from
twenty nineteen to twenty twenty two, and seven alleged co conspirators,
faced accusations raging ranging from plotting a coup, attempting to
(41:28):
overthrow Brazil's democratic order, and participating in an armed criminal group. Bolsonaro,
who has been under her house arrest since August, also
faces additional charges linked to riots in Brazilia on January eighth,
twenty twenty three. On that day, Bolsonaro's supporters stormed government
buildings after he lost the twenty twenty two election to
(41:51):
leftist leader Luis di Nacio Lula de Silva, causing property
damage and destroying historical items. Seatings are set to continue
through Friday, which is today, when the final vote will
be cast. In the sentence announced, but with a majority
already secured, Bolsonaro and his co defendants, including three former
(42:12):
generals and the former head of the navy, are on
track to be convicted and could face up to forty
years in prison end quote. As we work our way
towards the September twenty first Virgo new moon eclipse, which
is going to be an opposition to Saturn retrograde and Pisces,
(42:34):
I would just like to also read something from astrologer
Ronnie Dryer September sixth newsletter in which she says, quote,
during times of eclipses, secrets get revealed, especially during the
two weeks between the eclipses. We see that with the
Epstein files and the release of the Birthday book and
all of that. But she continues, what makes this eclipse season,
(42:58):
What makes this eclipse in ten, meaning the recently past
Pisces full moon lunar eclipse, is the fact that it
is total and the nodes are very close to the
Sun and Moon. To start, whichever node conjoins the Moon
helps define the nature of the eclipse, and in this
case it's the North node, which often means that something
(43:20):
has to be reached almost obsessively. And because the North
node is meeting the Moon two months later, which is
common in a total eclipse, that it is a short interval.
The idea of family, emotion and bringing people together will
be a theme of the next two months, both on
the global sphere and in our personal lives. She continues,
(43:42):
of course, whenever the eclipse, wherever the eclipse falls in
our charts will define in what area that applies to.
With a total eclipse, the nodes are also very close
to the Sun and the Moon, and if you look,
it's clear that the true north node will conjoin the
lunar eclipse degree on November twentieth, which is something I
(44:04):
spoke about and quoted Ronnie as having said also last week,
so she says this process of divesting of things to
create a new order will be intense and quick two
and a half months. That means that things in the
world and in your own lives happen quickly and intensely.
If those degrees can join a planet, point or angle
in your chart, it will then affect you on a
(44:26):
specific level. You can also look to see which house
in your chart contains tropical Pisces. Now a reminder that
the lunary clips occurred at fifteen degrees and twenty three
minutes of Pisces, and again she's speaking about that specific eclipse,
and that the upcoming one on September twenty first, which
we will talk much more about next week, is at
(44:48):
twenty nine degrees and five minutes of Virgo. But right
now we're approaching tomorrow's sun Mercury superior conjunction in Virgo,
which happens on September thirteenth, and then the third quarter
monthly lunar square of the Gemini moon to the Virgo
sun on September fourteenth. These both precede the second Virgo
(45:10):
New Moon partial solar eclips on September twenty first, which
arrives just before the fall equinox, and the Suns move
into Libra on September twenty second. So given the post
uranus rechgrade station and the post lunary clips of last week,
and the outlined events of these two, that these two
(45:33):
precipitated as of today. Let's examine how YOUNGI and astrologer
Aaron Sullivan defines this sun mercury superior conjunction, and by
that I mean all sun mercury, not this specific one
in this specific sign. But let's remember first that we've
been witnessing this past year's mercury retrograde periods in fire Signs, which,
(45:55):
according to Sullivan, has asked us to review how our
inspe inspiration can create our future. How do you respond
to crisis, Sullivan asks in her book Retrograde Planets traversing
the inner landscape with anger and resistance, or with an
increased awareness of the continual necessity to shift gears or
(46:18):
look at life with renewed vision end quote. Mercury retrograde
through Fire Signs quote will test your ability to respond
to life with spontaneous energy and to be more creative
with your decisions for change, end quote. There. Bear in
mind that mercury began to retrograde back into fire signs
(46:39):
starting in December of twenty twenty third, and this is
me speaking now. Think about how many of us have
responded to life's crises throughout through spontaneous action. I'm thinking
here of the protests of young people and others at
college campuses over Israel's in action, over Israel's actions in
(46:59):
gods A post October twenty twenty three, through to the
nationwide protests no Kings and others, including by the older
Baby Boom generations, against the growing tyrannical reach of the
US government since Donald Trump's January twenty twenty five inauguration
now tomorrow's superior conjunction. Portion of this most recent mercury
(47:24):
retrograde cycle in fire is described in general by Sullivan
as the fastest portion of mercury cycle, or one of
quote full blown maturity. That's because she said mercury is
still in full attention and notes that quote though fully
engaged in forward motion, there is an unconscious impulse to
(47:47):
pull back and reserve energy and focus on the product
of the last forty seven days or so of initiatory action.
It's the next forty seven days or so from siptre
Keember fourteenth superior conjunction until the next Mercury retrograde on
November ninth. Quote. When a completion of action stage dominates,
(48:09):
Sullivan explains, the maturity of projects, ideas and actions has arrived,
and the direct phase is an opportunity time as an
opportune time to recap the full rewards available. Though still
a forward moving time, it is a thoughtful time too,
one which requires more deliberation before initiation. Now Mercury moves
(48:32):
quickly and will surpass the Sun as it becomes an
evening star, meaning that quote, the ego is no longer
subordinate to a wild and pure mind, Sullivan says, but
rather becomes more pragmatic and thus more rational, logical, and organized. Now,
as an astrologer who discusses politics frequently on this podcast,
(48:54):
I do believe this bodes well for the US Democrats,
particularly governor's, state attorney generals and those in Congress, who
may now begin to buck the former criticisms about their
past inactions and past inability to curtail an increasingly tyrannical
form of government from taking hold. In short, Mercury says,
there is still hope to develop a better plan than
(49:17):
the one from the past. As Sullivan says, now keep
this mind also within the context of what I just
reported about the Bolsonaro conviction, right, and the bringing to
justice of a man who incited an insurrection. All right.
So November ninth marks the next retrograde station of Mercury,
(49:40):
which also begins its retrograde back from fire signs into
water signs. At that point will begin our review with
the question what is the quality of my life? According
to Sullivan, and this will continue from then until Mercury
begins to retrograde back into air signs in February of
twenty twenty seven. For those who meditate, these are good
(50:03):
suggestions of where to begin any deep reflection as we
complete the fire sign trilogy of Mercury retrograde and enter
soon those of water signs. Now, on September fourteenth, we
have the third quarter Crisis and Consciousness Gemini moon square
to the Virgo Sun, and this particular moon sun square
(50:25):
has the twenty one degree fifty two minute Gemini moon
in the US Siby Birth Charts, eighth House of Partnership
Conjunct its natal seventh house Mars at twenty one to
twenty two Gemini. Meanwhile, the Gemini moon squares both the
(50:46):
us is natal ninth house Neptune at twenty two to
twenty five virgo and the transmitting Sun at twenty one
fifty two virgo as it approaches Mercury at twenty two
forty five virgo, both transiting the ninth house of law, immigration, right,
higher learning, universities, et cetera. You know, travel and conjoining
(51:11):
the natal neptune and squaring the natal Mars. So that
means that this third quarter square monthly lunar square is
triggering the natal mars neptune square in America's chart. And
I've noted before that this that this is an aspect
(51:31):
indicative of a mother of sorry of, among other things,
how the US was born with a fantastical notion of
manifest destiny, or the imperialist belief in the nineteenth century
United States that American settlers were destined to expand westward
across North America, and that this belief was both obvious,
(51:52):
manifest and certain destiny. According to Wikipedia, whichs says, quote,
the belief is rooted in a American exceptionalism, romantic nationalism,
and white nationalism, implying the inevitable spread of republicanism and
the American way. It is one of the earliest expressions
of American imperialism. According to historian William Earle Weeks, there
(52:18):
were three basic toennays behind this concept and this is
still from Wikipedia. One the assumption of the unique moral
virtue of the United States. Two the assertion of its
mission to redeem the world by the spread of Republican government,
and more generally the quote American way of life. And
(52:39):
three faith in the nations divinely ordained destinies to succeed
in this mission. Now, manifest destiny remained heavily divisive in politics,
causing constant conflict with regards to slavery in these new
states and territories. Wikipedia notes it is also associated with
(52:59):
the settler colonial displacement of indigenous Americans and the annexation
of lands to the west of the United States borders
at the time. On the continent. The concept became one
of several major campaign issues during the eighteen forty four
presidential election, where the Democratic Party won, and the phrase
(53:20):
manifest destiny was coined. Within a year. Now I would
just like to say that Neptune being in the ninth
house of the American birth chart for those of us
who use it, also really really highlights this religious belief,
(53:40):
right white Christian nationalism, that the faith in the nation's
divinely ordained destiny, you know, was to succeed in this
manifest destiny and taking over of all all the lands,
you know. So it's you know, it's an interesting, interesting
(54:01):
time and again crisis in consciousness right now as the
monthly lunar cycle is beginning to wane, and we hit
the waning square on Sunday the fourteenth, right, we have
(54:25):
a couple other things going on next week where I
think the most you know, Mars is going to exact
oppose Chiron when I mentioned before, on the sixteenth of September,
so watch that date to but also watch for more
idolization and martyrdom out of the resulting energy of the
(54:50):
death of Charlie Kirk. By the way, the perpetrator is
still at large as of this recording, which is about
six o'clock on Thursday, September eleventh, So there's that too.
Mercury will oppose Saturn on the seventeenth, and the sun
will follow just before the Virgo New Moon solar eclipse
(55:15):
when it opposes Saturn on the twentieth. So watch for
opposition because when we have that, when we have that eclipse,
we are going to be seeing that the as I
said before, the twenty nine degree in five minute Virgo
(55:37):
Sun and Moon will be in opposition to both the
twenty eight degree twenty seven Saturn. It retrograde in pisceson
also out of sign to the zero degrees and forty
eight minute Neptune in aries. So you know, keep your
eyes open because one of the things I wanted to
(56:00):
mention today but I'm out of time with, is just
in general this Saturn neptune. I've alluded to this in
the past. I talked about the undersea cables. We talked
about the blowing the well whatever it's called, the I
don't know if they call it. The attack on the
e Venezuelan speedboat where the United States government and Donald
(56:21):
Trump accused those on board of running drugs without any
actual hard evidence and the violation of international law on
the sea. Okay, there's a whole lot of stuff on
the maritime side that I think we're going to start
to see whether some of that becomes more obvious at
this particular solar eclipse or not, I'm not sure. But again,
(56:46):
you know, it harks back to roughly around Trump's inauguration
in January of twenty twenty five, so you know, it
could have a lot to do because so much of
the world's trade is over the sea. I was reading
an article in Foreign Affairs magazine. I think it was
(57:07):
that I will maybe talk about later on or in
the future, about the difference between nations who were landlocked
historically and those who have coastlines, and that those who
have coastlines were far more had far more reason to
trade over water than the other nations, and that the
(57:30):
other nations had more wars. You know, because when you're
trading with foreign nations across the seas, you're open to
people coming to your land and maybe staying and learning
their ways and their cultures, etc. Whereas when you're landlocked,
you're kind of more Geminian, where you're kind of stuck
in your local area and maybe perhaps don't want to
(57:53):
move away from that to understand other cultures, other religions,
other peoples. Right, So thank you again for joining me today,
and please be sure to join me again next week
on September nineteenth for another Karmic Evolutions Astrologically Speaking podcast.
Until then, may your soul's journey be filled with karmaic
(58:17):
healing and the joy of greater consciousness. Now Mas Day

the stars did you go onder? Distance was no barrier,

and time and had no hope. Freez you come, and
