This week’s podcast focuses on the fall out from Uranus station retrograde & Pisces Full Moon total lunar eclipse of September 6 & 7, respectively, along with this week’s upcoming Sun/Mercury superior conjunction & third quarter monthly lunar square.
And phew, what a week it was! As astrologer Ronnie Dreyer noted in early September, when Uranus stations retrograde along with an eclipse, the week or two leading up to & after these astro events can be filled with all sorts of shocking events. 
It's common knowledge among astrologers that the themes of eclipses often make themselves felt prior to when they are exact. Combined with the retrograde station of Uranus, it seems that the chaotic, violent events of the past two weeks certainly prove this to be true.
This podcast explores the nature of this past week’s shocking events--from earthquakes in Afghanistan that killed 2,200 people & ones off the coast of Oregon, to the fall of prime ministers & other high-level officials in France & Japan. And then there’s the protests by Gen Z members that torched a government building & killed 22 in Nepal, leading to their prime minister’s resignation. 
From Russian drones violating NATO’s airspace in Poland to Israel’s attempted assassination of Hamas negotiators by targeting them in Doha, Qatar, to the murder of right wing political activist Charlie Kirk in Utah, such shocking events illustrate a whole lot of violence in a short period of time.
Of course it doesn’t help that transiting Mars in Libra has been waxing closer to its exact opposition to dwarf planet Eris, the goddess of chaos, discord, & strife, & wounded healer Chiron—both in Aries—which perfect on September 15 & 16, respectively. Goes a long way to explaining the current chaos—much of it born of violence, not only in the U.S. but around the world.
We explore these details, along with a look at Charlie Kirk’s untimed birth chart to determine how Mars was conjoining his natal Libra Sun/Jupiter conjunction as Eris & Chiron opposed them. And then there’s the fact that the upcoming 29’05” Virgo New Moon solar eclipse—activated circa January 23 when the transiting nodal axis hit that degree--falls on his 28’23” Venus in Virgo on September 21. 
Part of the theme of this fall’s eclipse series is linked to concerns about the health of someone young—as per traditional astrologer Bernadette Brady in her book “Predictive Astrology, The Eagle And The Lark.” I think we can all now see the veracity of this given that Charlie Kirk was only 31 years-old at the time of his murder on September 10.
And let’s not forget that on September 11 the Brazilian Supreme Court convicted former President Jair Bolsonaro of overseeing a failed conspiracy to overturn the 2022 Brazilian election in a coup plot that included disbanding courts, empowering the military and plotting to assassinate the then president-elect. 
SUN/MERCURY SUPERIOR CONJUNCTION: THERE’S STILL HOPE TO DEVELOP A BETTER FUTURE PLAN
When the Sun conjoins Mercury in Virgo for their superior conjunction on September 13, between now & Mercury’s next retrograde station on November 9 is a time “when a completion of action stage dominates,” according to Jungian astrologer Erin Sullivan. 
“The maturity of projects, ideas, & actions has arrived & the…direct phase is an opportune time to recap the full rewards available,” she explains in her book “Retrograde Planets, Traversing the Inner Landscape.” 
“Though still a forward moving time, it is a thoughtful time, too, one which requires more deliberation before initiation.” During this period “Mercury says there is still hope to develop a better plan than the one from the past.” Hopefully democrats will feel this energy & heed the message from Brazil that something similar may happen here in the U.S.—eventually…
Meanwhile, this eclipse series is also associated with potential “important paperwork,” according to Brady. It should not surprise us then that the public has become privy this past week to never before seen documents related to sex trafficker & pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. 
And to his convicted co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell. And that these include not only the Epstein Foundation-released now infamous “birthday book,” but also a trove of 18,000 emails between Epstein & Maxwell (& others) made public between September 8 & 11.

All right, So let's get into this week's astro news
you can use, and there's a bunch of it. So
let me start with the reminder that was still in
the Virgo New Moon monthly lunar cycle, which began on
August twenty second or twenty third, depending on your time zone,

which asked us to take good care of ourselves so
that we can be of better service to others. And
the fact that which we discussed last week, Uranus then
stationed retrograde at one degree and twenty eight minutes of
Gemini on September sixth, just before we reached the first
eclipse of this fall series at the Pisces full moon

(05:56):
total lunary clips on September seventh, and that brought us
to the apex or climax climax, if you will, of
this month's lunar cycle. At this Pisces full moon, we
were asked to let go of controlling our environment in
an effort to achieve perfection. And this was aptly illustrated

(06:17):
as we waxed toward the first quarter crisis in action
monthly lunar square between the Sagittarius moon and the Virgo
sun on August thirtieth or thirty first, again depending on
your time zone, and this was when we were made
leading up to that point acutely aware of efforts by
the US federal government to control cities by threats to

send in federal troops. We already know that they've sent
federal troops to LA and to Washington, d C. But
it was on August twenty eighth when nineteen Democratic governors
warned President Trump not to send troops to their cities.
Now I've discussed this previously, but what I want to
reiterate is that because we're in Virgo season, and because

we experienced a Pisces full moon lunary clips that oppose
the Virgo sun and South node, which are asking us
to release our attachment to controlling our environment and to
let it go and let it flow. We can note
now how much of this attempted control has placed an
emphasis or come at us through statistics, data and documents

given virgos archetypal association with both sacred geometry and numerology. Now,
not only those data and statistics related to our economy,
you know, such as the recent drop in I'm sorry
rise and unemployment and inflation rates, but also, as I

outlined in last week's podcast, through the theme of this
set of eclipses, which includes important paperwork, you know, such
as paperwork related to accuse sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. In
like the infamous birthday book, which since its release to
Congress posts urin a retrograde and posts eclipse on September eighth,

includes proof of Trump's submission, which of course he denied making.
So let's look back now at what I quoted astrologer
Ronnie Dreyer as having said in her September first newsletter.
But also remember we're still under the astrological influence of
the currently waxing Saturn Pluto cycle, which began in Capricorn

in January of twenty twenty, and that this depicts that
a global realignment is going to occur within the next
thirty six years or so from that date. So here's
what Ronnie drier said, quote, you're in a station's retrograde
on the sixth total lunary eclipse on the seventh and

(08:53):
partial solar eclipse on the twenty first. You're in a
station's retrograde the day before the total Pisse's full moon
lunary clips I discovered. She wrote over many years that
often when a total eclipse and a retrograde station occur
within a week of each other, major sudden events often

(09:14):
take place and range from earthquakes or other major meteorological disasters, revolutions,
overthrow of governments, leaders resigning or leaving due to illness
or death, and other events. So on September one, we
had the six magnitude earthquake in Afghanistan, which I mentioned

on last week's podcast, in which their government still calculates
left approximately two thousand, two hundred fatalities, And by September
eighth and ninth, Newsweek reported that we learned of an
earthquake and its aftershocks off the coast of the state

(09:55):
of Oregon. Quote of five point eight magnitude earthquakes struck
off the coast of Oregon at around ten thirty pm
local time on Monday night, which was September eighth. The
US Geological Survey said, as reported by Reuters, I'm sorry
I said it was Newsweek. It's re Reuters. I'm quoting

from quote. Two. More tremors struck the area soon afterwards,
measuring at three point three magnitude and four point nine magnitude.
The article continues, noting also that the first and largest
quake had a depth of around eight point five miles
and that there was no tsunami threat reported. Now let's

look at revolutions, government overthrows, and leaders resignation, illness or deaths.
On September eighth, two days after Uranus's retrograde station and
one day after the lunar eclipse, the French government of
Francois Bahux. I hope I pronounced that right, because I've
never taken a French lesson in my entire life, and I,

you know, grew up in New York, so that New
York ye Ken accent. Sometimes it creeps in when you
least expect it. Anyway, Francois Bairroux, a centrist prime minister
who has been in office for just nine months, collapsed
on Monday. The French government of him collapse, not the
man himself. On Monday, in the latest sign of a

France reduced to chronic political instability and incapacity to confront
its growing financial crisis. According to The New York Times,
which continues, the National Assembly, or lower house of Parliament,
voted overwhelmingly against mister Bearux in a confidence motion he
had called with the aim of setting out the gravity

of France's ballooning debt and budget deficit and the need
to confront them by finding annual savings of at least
fifty one billion dollars, now, you know, in France. What's more,
the most interesting to note is this quote, again from the article.

The French buzzet budget deficit is now nearly one hundred
ninety eight billion, or five point eight percent of economic output,
well above the three percent limit set by the European
Union for countries using the euro currency. Again, according to
the Times, in his speech, mister Bayrouse said that his
aim was to reduce the deficit to three percent by

twenty twenty nine. The national debt is now equal to
one hundred and fourteen percent of total economic output. Now,
in this next statement by the New York Times, note
the correlation between what's been happening there and what's been
happening here in the United States. Quote. The core of
the economic issue is one of national identity. In France,

the social safety net, which includes education, health care and pensions,
is the near sacred expression of the revolution's call, meaning
the French Revolution's call for a fraternal society, and the
article continues, Any attempt to curtail social benefits is near anathema,
as was made clear by an intense conflict in twenty

twenty three over French President mister Macrone's decision to raise
the retirement age to sixty four from sixty two, and
by the furious response to mister Bayu's proposal to eliminate
two public holidays in order to increase production and raise
tax revenue. And the article continues. Mister Macrone's whatever it

takes response to the COVID nineteen crisis, in which salaries
were effectively nationalized in many cases, also added to the
current grave imbalance. Any future leader of whatever stripe will
face the dilemma of demanding changes that France has staunchly resisted,
unlike European countries from Scandinavia to Germany that have curtailed

their welfare states end. So my question is does that
sound reminiscent of the US Congress's July third passage and
the signing on the July fourth by Donald Trump of
his big beautiful bill that's going to cut Medicaid and
healthcare and nutritional benefits for millions of people over the

next decade. Clearly, the attempt here is to reduce the
nation's budget deficit, and like France, is being strongly resisted.
So stay tuned for both the outcome over there and
the outcome over here as the US heads toward its
twenty twenty six midterm elections. Next, we have the resignation

of Japanese Prime Minister Shigero Ishiba, who resigned on Sunday,
September seventh, quote, ushering in a potentially lengthy period of
policy uncertainty at a shaky moment for the world's fourth
largest economy, according to Reuters, which continues quote. Having just
ironed out final details of a train deal with United

(15:01):
States to lower President Trump's punishing tariffs, Ishiba's sixty eight
told a press conference he must take responsibility for a
series of bruising election losses. Ishiba sixty eight came to
power less than a year ago and faced voter backlash
over rising living costs. According to Reuters, he noted Reuters

said that he waited for a US trade deal before
stepping down, and then we have The New York Times
report on September nineteenth, headlined Nepali troops moved to restore
order as death toll rises to twenty two. The chaos,
according to the Time, stemmed from a government ban issued

last week on major social media platforms that lit a
fuse on years of anger and frustration over corruption and
economic inequality. Now I don't know about you, but I
don't know too much about Nepal, and that came as
a bit of a sup to me anyway. The article
goes on quote protesters defied a curfew to set fire

to government buildings and the homes of politicians as unrest
over censorship and economic issues continued, and again quoting the
article social media is a critical tool in Nepal, where
many citizens work abroad and send money back home. Last week,
the authorities banned twenty six services, including we Chat, YouTube

and LinkedIn, which it said had failed to register with
the government. By Tuesday morning, they were all back online.
End quote. So I'm saying, remember too that transiting Uranus
now retrograde in early Gemini is training Pluto in Aquarius
in early Aquarius, that both at one degree and some minutes,

and that trines are easy energies but not necessarily always
fortuitous ones. I told you. Trines are likened by traditionalist
Bernadett Brady to having the wind at your back when
you're ice skating. If any of you, like me, remember
that feeling of not having control, then I think you'll

understand what I'm trying to say. So tribes can simply signify,
as in this case be based on the archetypal meanings
of the planets and science, that they're in disempowerment of
groups through a sudden change in communication. I rest my case. Meanwhile,
Gemini also represents youth, and the demonstrators in Nepal, who

appeared to be mostly teenagers and young adults, according to
the New York Times quote, have embraced the label gen
Z protest. Free speech is prized in Nepal, which has
maintained robust space for debate as similar rights have shrunk
in other South Asian countries. There is an economic crisis.
An outrage has also been growing over economic inequality and

what many Nepalese see as the government's failure to aggressively
pursue high profile corruption cases, but the biggest country's biggest
lingering crisis centers on jobs. And then on September ninth,
the Associated Press ran this headline and news piece quote,
NATO scrambles jets to shoot down Russian drones in Poland,

raising fears of war spillover. Multiple Russian drones crossed into
Poland in what European officials describe Wednesday as a deliberate provocation,
causing NATO to send fighter jets to shoot them down.
A NATO spokesman said it was the first time the
Alliance confronted a potential threat in its airspace again. According

to the ap which continues, Polish airspace has been violated
several times since Russia's full scale invasion of Ukraine in
twenty twenty two, but there has been nothing on the
scale of Wednesday's violations in Poland or in any other
NATO country. The incursion, which occurred during a wave of
strikes by the Kremlin on Ukraine, and the NATO response,

swiftly raised fears that the war could spill over, a
fear that has been growing in Europe as Russia steps
up its attacks and peace efforts go nowhere. Poland requested
an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council on the
drone incursion, and the article continues. South Korea's UN Mission,
which holds the Council presidency this month, said the time

was being discussed. Russia's defense ministry said it did not
target Poland, while Belarus, a close ally of Moscow, said
it tracks some drones that quote lost their course because
they were jammed and again, the article continues. However, several
European leaders said they believed the incursion amounted to an

intentional expansion of Russia's assault against Ukraine quote Russia's war
is escalating, not end. European Union foreign policy chief Kaja
Kalas told reporters in Brussels, what Russian President Vladimir Putin
wants to do is test us. What happened in Poland
is a game changer and it should result in stronger sanctions.

And then, also on September ninth, the New York Times
reported quote, Israel attempts to kill Hamas leadership in airstrike
on Cutter, a Gaza war mediator, and it continues. The
Gulf nation of Kutter has been trying to negotiate a
ceasefire in the conflict. The attack threatened to destabilize those

peace efforts. Quote. The Israeli strike on a Hamas meeting
where the group said its officials were discussing a ceasefire
proposal backed by President Trump, threatened to undermine negotiations over
the Gaza war. The direct attack on Qatar's territory Cutter's
territory also risked antagonizing the Katari government and dec stabilizing

its diplomatic efforts in the war, particularly because the country's
political and economic stability hinges on its reputation as a
haven for business and tourism in a volatile region. So
the afternoon attack by Israel's air force hidden area of
the capital Doha that is near schools and embassies, sending

(21:21):
black smoke billowing into the air. The article continues. Ramas
said the Israeli strike had failed to kill senior officials
in the group, without specifying whether they had sustained injuries.
In a statement, the group confirmed that the son of
Ramas's chief negotiator, his office manager, and three other people

(21:43):
affiliated with Ramas had been killed in the attack. Now,
I want to point out also that we have Mars
in Libra at which, yes, which on September tenth was
at twenty two degrees of Libra has been waxing into

opposition to the transiting Chiron Eiras in areas. So I've
spoken about that in the past. Chiron eras chiron woundedness
eris discord, chaos and strife, so we might imply or

infer is the better word that you know, martial action
is going to bring chaos and more wounding than perhaps
necessary in you know, in its aftermath. So while we're

(22:49):
on the subject of murder, as I just spoke about
the attempted murder of the Hamas negotiators on September tenth,
also as this energy between Mars opposing Eiris and Chirn
is in play, right wing influencer Charlie Kirk was shot

(23:09):
to death at a Utah Valley University rally in Aurum, Utah.
Kirk born October fourteenth, nineteen ninety three, in Arlington Heights,
Cook Country, Cook County, Illinois, has no known birth time.
For that reason, I run a noon chart because as

(23:31):
Astrological Society of Princeton's heads, Kennegis taught me a long
time ago that's how you can best pin down the moon.
The moon is obviously the fastest moving planet or body,
and pinning down the moon and determining whether it was
in the same sign during the whole twenty four hours

(23:53):
of the potential time of birth of any given individual
can tell you a lot. So what we know is
that Kirk was indeed born with a Labra son October fourteenth,
but also a Libra moon. And we know the latter
because at noon his moon degree is ten degrees seventeen Libra,

and because a quick check shows us that the moon
is in the same sign from midnight on October fourteenth
until midnight October fifteenth, So a double Libra he was,
though he did not have a conjunction between his sun
and moon, and we don't know his descendant because without
a birth time, it's impossible to ascertain a correct one.

Before I delve more into his chart, however, I'd like
to preface my astrological remarks by first saying that the
truth is that I'd only recently become aware of any
real specifics about Kirk, except for knowing he was a
right wing commentator with a podcast. I'd heard his name
mentioned several times, but didn't really know, as I said

much about him, that he was this young. I didn't know,
nor did I know many facts about him or you know,
the road to his rise to fame in right wing
political circles. That's where my consciousness was when I saw
this post on Facebook by an acquaintance who wrote, quote,

my condolences to Charlie Kirk's family. I have a son
his age. How horrific people, Let's stop shooting each other.
It's someone's son, daughter, mother, father, and etc. And I
replied to her with the following because this was exactly
the same as my gut reaction before having seen this

(25:44):
friend's post, and I wrote back, quote, my son too,
is a year and a half younger than Kirk, And
that was my first thought as well. We must be
human before we're political. I did not agree with his
ideology or his politics, but my heart cannot help but
go out to his parents, wife, and young children for

(26:06):
a life taken too soon. And then I wrote the quote,
no man is an island, no man stands alone. Each
man's joy is joy to me. Each man's grief is
my own. However, since his murder, I've come to understand
that he did say quite a few things with which

(26:26):
I completely disagree, and that he influenced a great deal
of young people, especially leading up to the election of
Donald Trump in November twenty twenty four. I was interested
in what Keith Olberman said on his Countdown podcast yesterday
morning on September eleventh about Charlie Kirk's murder September eleventh,

(26:52):
the same day as the commemoration of the horrific events
of nine to eleven, of course, and said this quote
this new America that MAGA wants, and the fact that
Trump has spent the last decade stochastically calling for violence
against his opposers. I mean, Trump was shot a year ago,

(27:15):
and none of his supporters was willing to support gun restrictions,
he noted, and then he went on, you can have
many reactions to Charlie Kirk's death, and I hope sorrow
and disgust are among them, as they are for me.
But you can be utterly opposed to shooting people but
also believe America's comforting lie that violence has no part

(27:38):
in our political system. Despite the constant call for escalating
violence and murder and the latest rage among right wing commentators,
public executions now of course, that reminds me of January
sixth and the chant of hanging Mike Pence. But Oberman
goes on quote. He goes on to quote a right

(28:02):
wing commentator who has in the past said this quote,
death penalties should be public quick and televised at a
certain age. It's an initiation. He proposed making kids above
the age of twelve watch and suggested guillotines be used,
and suggested pay for view TV sponsored by Coca Cola.

(28:25):
He wanted to broaden the definition of capital offenses and
also wanted the death penalty for anyone opposing Trump. Oberman noted,
and then he went on the same commentator thought it
was just too bad that there's an estimated three hundred
and ninety three million guns in this country, and that
there would be gun deaths always, but that this was

(28:46):
a fair trade off because that was the best way
to protect the Second Amendment. And then he named Charlie
Kirk as the person he was quoting, who on April fifth,
twenty twenty three, said quote, you'll never live in a
society when you have an armed society and never have

(29:06):
some gun deaths. I think it's worth worth it to
have the cost of unfortunately some gun deaths each year,
so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect
our other God given rights. That is a prudent deal,
That is rational. And Oberman went on to say, did
Kirk deserve to get shot because of what he said

(29:28):
or because he said that? No, we should not kill
commentators with guns, we should not kill presidents with guns,
We should not kill Americans with guns. Say it, dedicate
yourself to it. But please forget the cliches and empty
words and how the and the how could this happen
in America? And the where in a bad place and

it's getting worse. These are meaningless We've always been in
this place. They are as meaningless words as are the
insulting fallbacks of but thoughts and prayers. But prior to that,
Olderman listed the number of US presidents, elected officials and
others from the beginning of this nation through to this

current murder of Charlie Kirk and came up with nineteen
I think assassinations or attempted assassinations. But anyway, he says,
you know that if we're opposed to killings based on
people's speech and the fact that they advocate violence, we

because the nodal the transiting nodal access had already hit

degrees right when it regressed back from the sign before
after it that it from you know, Leo, that it
it was going to I'm sorry from whatever it Okay,

The nodes regress when they transit, So it went back
from Libra into Virgo in January of twenty twenty five,
which means that the south node had already the year
and a half before transited over his natal librin Jupiter,
Sun and Moon and Juno, and is now coming back

I would only surmise that that was his support of
Donald Trump, who had just been elected president, and his
pride son Jupiter in having had a hand in helping
get people, particularly young people, to vote for Trump. That

And my fear, what I sort of say before, is
that he will become a right wing martyr, which I
think we are already en route to seeing happen now.
All right, so I want to talk about one other
piece of news which broke late yesterday, which is that,

as per the reporting by NPR News, quote a historic conviction,
Brazil Supreme Court delivers a majority vote to convict former
President Chai Air Bolsonaro over a plot to overthrow the government. Now,
I say, for those of us who deeply regret the
US Senate's inability to convict Donald Trump of insurrection for

the January sixth, twenty twenty one Capitol riot, we may
now live a bit vicariously through the news released yesterday
afternoon on September eleventh, and the NPR article goes on
three of the five justices on the panel voting to
find him guilty of a coup attempt and criminal conspiracy.

The verdict will be historic. It marks the first time
a former Brazilian head of state face trial for attempting
to overthrow the government. The seventy year old far right leader,
a close ally of President Trump, who governed Brazil from
twenty nineteen to twenty twenty two, and seven alleged co conspirators,
faced accusations raging ranging from plotting a coup, attempting to

overthrow Brazil's democratic order, and participating in an armed criminal group. Bolsonaro,
who has been under her house arrest since August, also
faces additional charges linked to riots in Brazilia on January eighth,
twenty twenty three. On that day, Bolsonaro's supporters stormed government

leftist leader Luis di Nacio Lula de Silva, causing property
damage and destroying historical items. Seatings are set to continue
through Friday, which is today, when the final vote will
be cast. In the sentence announced, but with a majority
already secured, Bolsonaro and his co defendants, including three former

track to be convicted and could face up to forty
years in prison end quote. As we work our way

Ronnie Dryer September sixth newsletter in which she says, quote,
during times of eclipses, secrets get revealed, especially during the
two weeks between the eclipses. We see that with the

arrives just before the fall equinox, and the Suns move

triggering the natal mars neptune square in America's chart. And

United States that American settlers were destined to expand westward
