Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello everyone, and welcome to Karmic Evolutions astrologically speaking podcast.
I'm your host, Sherry Horne Hassan of Karmic Evolution Astrology,
and I'm coming to you on August twenty second from
Karmic Evolution dot com or any of your favorite podcast stations. First,
my usual quick reminder that this podcast aims to bring
(00:23):
you the truth about astrology and your soul's karmic evolution,
and that a new show will continue to drop every
Friday at eleven am Pacific and two pm Eastern on
most major podcast platforms. And before we get into this
week's astro news you can use, I'd like to again
(00:43):
reiterate my motto or mantra as it pertains to my
perspective about the importance of gaining astrological insight into our
lives and into the world around us, and it is
as follows. I believe the universe is benign. It has
no vested interest in making any of us suffer. Rather,
(01:04):
it provides us with opportunities every moment of every day
to grow in consciousness. It's simply up to each of
us to recognize such moments, and when we don't, the
universe doesn't just give up. And that's why I continue
to offer my discounted seventy five minute Karmic Evolution Natal
(01:26):
Insight reading for those who are interested in gaining greater
insight into why you are here and what issues, habits,
and behaviors may still plague you from the past. So,
whether these behavioral patterns stem from earlier in this lifetime
and or from past life experiences, my mission is to
help you better understand through the lens of my archetypal,
(01:50):
psychological and evolutionary training and practice by using your chart
as your specific guide. So if your interests in taking
advantage of this seventy five minute discounted reading for only
one hundred and twenty five dollars, please contact me at

would be happy to set.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
Up a reading for you.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
So if you're looking if you're an astrology enthusiast or
a student looking to move from chaos to clarity about
any area of concern for you could be relationships, could
you could be your career or finances, could be your health,
or you simply want to learn more about your soul's
true mission in this lifetime than this reading is for you.

All right, so let's get into this week's astronws you
(03:06):
can use. And the first thing of importance is that today,
on August twenty second, the sun enters the mercury ruled
sign of Virgo, and that this will be followed by
the Virgo new moon at zero degrees in twenty three
minutes at eleven oh seven pm tonight Pacific time or
(03:26):
two oh seven am Eastern Time on August twenty third. Now,
what's interesting about this lunation is that it will be
followed by the Pisce's full moon, which will be a
lunar eclipse on September seventh, which falls at fifteen degrees
and twenty three minutes of Pisces. Also interesting is that
(03:46):
we'll have a second Virgo new moon at twenty nine
degrees and five minutes of Virgo on September twenty first,
and that this lunation is also a solar eclipse, so
as the sun enters verse tonight or later today, the
transiting self node is still in Virgo, and together they
(04:06):
advise us all, both individually and collectively, to stop trying
to control our environment based on the fear of chaos.
And we have two moon then the fact that we
have two new moons and one full moon involving the
Virgo archetype is probably time to discuss all things Virgo
(04:29):
on a little deeper level. So as a pure archetype,
the high side of Virgo, which is what will aspire
to during and following the first Virgo new moon tonight
and tomorrow, involves understanding that we must all take care
of ourselves first before we contend to others, and that
(04:50):
doing so is not selfish. Rather, it's based on understanding
that we cannot do our best to serve others if
we're not in tiptops shape ourselves. What many may not
realize about the deeper meaning of the Virgo archetype is
that it can be a very beneficial pathway toward prioritizing
(05:11):
really taking care of ourselves, and that means it can
help us jettison old habits that might not serve us
well in terms of our health, which also means that
such habits may hinder our ability to help others as well.
In general, every Virgo new moon carries the same message,
and since Mercury's Virgo rules the natural sixth house in
(05:34):
everyone's chart, this zodiacal sign has to do not only
with service, but also with our health and our work
as it's defined by our daily routine. So inherent in
both upcoming Virgo new moons will be the message to
ensure that we ourselves are as healthiest can be before
(05:54):
attempting to serve others. Otherwise, put that means on maybe
a little bit more of an esoteric level, healer, heal thyself.
So it's important to understand that the Virgo Pisces archetypal
opposition sygnifies the phrase from chaos comes clarity. While most
may think of Neptune ruled Pisces as causing chaos, and
(06:17):
this is not wrong depending on one's individual chart or
when the transiting South note is in Pisces. Moving from
Virgo to Pisces represents letting go of controlling tendencies because
we fear that if we don't, will experience chaos in
our lives. And this might be because when young or
(06:37):
in past life karmic experiences, chaos was our experience in
our daily lives or through some seriously impactful experience or experiences. So,
because the Virgo archetype also represents trying to reach a
state of perfection, its opposition to pisces tells us that
this is at best an amorphous goal and at worst
(07:01):
an impossible one. Accepting this reality goes a long way
to our understanding that we must let go of our
idealization that perfection is actually possible and instead not only except,
but embrace our imperfections. Coming after the monthly lunar cycle
begun with the Leo new moon back on July twenty fourth,
(07:23):
which called us to recognize the specialness of our own
unique individuality, the Virgo new moon cycle then or now
will or next coaches us to understand that as such,
as unique individuals, we have no need to be perfect,
(07:44):
and that, in turn, i think I said this last week,
we are perfect in all our imperfections, and that in
turn allows us to accept how and where we may
be different, but also that different is good rather than bad.
In doing so, can then release any feelings of inadequacy, shame,
or guilt that often results in a self punishing attitude,
(08:07):
as evolutionary astrologer Stephen Forrest puts it in his book
Yesterday's Sky, Astrology and Reincarnation. Now, the Virgo Pisces axis
also has a lot to do with the Age of Pisces,
which began with the birth of Jesus Christ, marked by
the beginning of Anno Domini or dominie. According to Wikipedia quote.
(08:29):
The term Anno dominie is Medieval Latin and means in
the year of the Lord, but is often presented using
our Lord instead of the Lord, taken from the full
original phrase Anno domini nostri Jesu Christi, which translates to
quote in the year of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Now
basically ad represents the beginning of the Age of Pisces,
(08:52):
as noted when over the course of the past two millennium,
Christianity dominated much of the Western world's beliefs, systems, and
love it or hate it. Christianity is often associated with
concepts of original sin and the idea that one has
to behave perfectly and be perfect and general in order
(09:12):
to be worthy of entrance into Heaven upon one's physical demise. Okay,
so I'm probably not telling you anything you don't already know.
But I wanted to spell this out in terms of
the meaning of the Virgo archetype and the struggle we
all have as human beings with jettisoning the idea that
that perfection is a healthy goal, especially given that it's
(09:36):
an unattainable one. So, in short, such a goal, as
promoted through the Christian faith over the past two thousand years,
is antithetical to the psychological process of individuation as coined
by Carl Jung. Rather than concentrate on attaining perfection in
whatever that means to any given individual or, in the
(09:59):
case of the transiting Virgo self node, to the collective,
the goal is really to learn how to best take
care of ourselves first and others if and when we
are healthy enough to do so. Now. It will be
at the September seventh Pisce's lunary clips, which is the
Pisce's full moon, which occurs at fifteen degrees in twenty
(10:20):
three minutes of Pisces, that will be asked, after planting
seeds now directed toward greater self care at the Virgo
new moon, to release any tendencies toward perfection and the
ensuing guilt or shame at not having achieved it. So
what can free us at this lunary clipse is the
(10:43):
realization that the idea that perfection is actually possible is
that the Pisce's moon reflects the Virgo Sun's shadow side
back to itself, allowing us to see that perfection is
a concept with zero basis in reality. But more about
the upcoming September eclipses likely next week. Back to this
(11:08):
Virgo new moon and the Virgo south node currently you know,
part of the transitting nodal axis, and that this is
also a time to realize how Virgo operates. Aside from
that little not so little perfection hang up in this realm,
Virgo is about facts because it represents looking more myopically
(11:30):
at the microcosm than the macrocosm. And that's because when
we focus in on data, statistics and provable numbers, you know,
we can see things more clearly. Now it's important for
me to mention too, that the Virgo archetype also has
(11:50):
a connotation with what's known as sacred geometry, and quote,
sacred geometry ascribes symbolic and sacred meanings to certain gymetric
shapes and certain geometric proportions. According to Wikipedia. The Wikipedia
explanation continues quote it is associated with the belief of
(12:13):
a divine creator of the universal geometer. The belief that
a God created the universe according to a geometric plan
has ancient origins. Plutarch attributed the belief to Plato, writing
that Plato said, God geometrizes, geometrizes, Sorry, continually geometrizes.
Speaker 2 (12:36):
I like that.
Speaker 1 (12:36):
There's another couple of words here that I'll say in
a minute that are cool too, and the Wikipedia continues.
In modern times, the mathematician Carl Friedrich Carl Friedrich Gauss
adapted this quote, saying God arithmetizes. That's the word I'm
talking about. So geometric geometrizes and arithmetizer gotta love it.
(13:01):
Johann Kepler. This entry continues. Believed in the geometric underpinnings
of the cosmos, and according to Stephen Skinner, the study
of sacred geometry has its roots in the study of
nature and the mathematical principles at work therein many forms
observed in nature can be related to geometry. Again, as
(13:22):
per Wikipedia, now there are those Virgo influenced folks who
often see numbers in their mind's eye, or dream numbers
or stuff like that. I've had clients, I've had friends.
I remember, in particular, one of my son's friends whose
chart I drew up had a Virgo son in the
twelfth house, and he told me that I think he
(13:46):
used to dream in numbers, but he didn't know what
they meant. So, you know, you hear this kind of
stuff from people who have heavy Virgo influences, particularly in
the watery houses like the sixth, like the twelfth, or
the a. Now this is from artificial intelligence when I
google this, but it's still you know, I'll use AI
(14:07):
if it is verifiable elsewhere, and this was, but it's
also perhaps more succinct quote. Sacred geometry in spirituality refers
to the belief that certain geometric shapes and patterns are
found throughout nature and are imbued with symbolic and sacred meaning.
These patterns, such as the spiral, the golden ratio, and
(14:29):
the flower of life, are seen as a visual language
that reveals the underlying order and harmony of the universe.
It suggests that these geometric forms are not just aesthetically pleasing,
but also reflect a divine or universal intelligence.
Speaker 2 (14:46):
End quote. So the virgo.
Speaker 1 (14:48):
Archetype is also associated with numerology or number symbolism, which
is divined in Wikipedia as quote an ancient and pervasive
aspect of human thought, but deeply intertwined with religion, philosophy, mysticism,
and mathematics. Different cultures and traditions have assigned specific meanings
(15:09):
to numbers, often linking them to divine principles, cosmic forces,
or natural patterns. Known before the twentieth century as arithmetcy
that's another cool word, is the belief in an occult, divine,
or mystical relationship between a number and one or more
(15:30):
coinciding events. It is also the study of the numerical
value via an via an alpha numeric numeric system of
the letters in words and names. It is often associated
with astrology and other divinatory arts. Now, one of the
reasons that it is associated with astrology is because much
(15:53):
as some people who are just starting to learn astrology
or learning how to read an individual's chart don't want
to hear it is based on mathematics, and that is
to say, it is a circle of three hundred and
sixty degrees that is divided incrementally, and those increments form
aspects that are geometric in shape. So again to go
(16:18):
back to this to the explanation of the Virgo archetype.
The antidote to Virgo's obsession with perfection, which can lend
itself to an obsessive, compulsive kind of personality, not with
everyone who has Virgo in their chart, but for some,
is to realize that the universe is already perfect because
(16:41):
it's based on a geometric order that we humans do
not need to manipulate or control, and this in turn
lends credence to an interpretation of this upcoming Virgo new
moon as a time to plant seeds to better understand
that we can let go and let God. In the
metaphorical sense, I mean, because the universe has already got
(17:02):
it all under control, and that means, you know, I see,
say let go and trust the universe is probably a
more esoteric way or a more spiritual way to say it,
because God, of course implies some kind of indoctrinated religion.
But regardless of how one wants to view it, it's
(17:24):
about letting go, and that means also that it's time
to simply concentrate on our own health and well being,
because that's what service really means we can't serve anyone
unless we're of sound mind, body, and soul, because where
part of the universe's divine geometric intelligence get it. In short,
(17:46):
we're already there, so there's no need to keep on trying. Okay,
But now, as we've been seeing throughout the collective, at
least since the transitting self node entered Virgo while the
North node entered Pisses back on January eleventh of twenty
twenty five, there's been a lot that we need to
move away from, starting with this attempt to control our
(18:09):
environment in order to achieve the basically unachievable state of perfection,
but that this concept has been in play since the
inauguration of Donald Trump as the US President on January
twentieth of twenty twenty five. It seems pretty clear that,
through his adaptation of the Heritage Foundation's Project twenty twenty five,
(18:32):
that he is trying to make America great again via
focusing myopically on what he and others perceive as America's imperfections,
and that these include the presence of immigrants is more
than obvious at this point, as is the fact a
(18:54):
good Virgo word that anyone deemed imperfect at their job
by those who are trying to control the environment within, say,
the ranks of the US federal government has been summarily
disposed of through firings or large scale layoffs. That both
of these attempts at making America perfect have resulted in
(19:16):
statistical data showing how high tariffs, increased unemployment, and currently
rising inflation are not the true road to quote unquote
perfection is similarly becoming more obvious every day, as is
that perfection will be attainable ultimately. Again, that perfection will
(19:42):
not be attainable ultimately because again, the universe is already perfect,
as is in its geometrical and numerical design. Now, by
the way, the transiting nodal access will remain in effect
until July twenty sixth of twenty twenty six because it
marks the eighteen month period of potential shifts since it
(20:05):
entered the Virgo Pisces axis. As I said around January
eleventh of this year, so we've got about eleven months
to go to try to learn these lessons before new
ones are upon us. When the transiting nodal access shifts
back into a Leo's south node and an Aquarius north node,
so tonight and tomorrow as we experience the Virgo new
(20:28):
mode hang on again depending on your time zone. We're
called to look at our relationship to work, service, spirituality,
health and healing on both an individual and a collective level,
and how to relate these areas to bettering our lives
(20:48):
rather than attempting to make them perfect. As many astrologers
point out, now is a good time to up level
one's diet, exercise routine, meditative and mindfulness practices, sleep habits,
et cetera, or to start to take note.
Speaker 2 (21:05):
Of them if we haven't before.
Speaker 1 (21:07):
Making even small improvements now can show big benefits down
the line. One of the things that Virgo archetype can
help us with is to replace negative habits, some of
which may be karmically derived, with positive ones. And what
I mean by that is that often if we're say,
(21:28):
addicted to food, smoking, drugs, alcohol, or even if we're
experiencing depression or anxiety as a long term situation, we
can now realize that these are grounded in past painful experiences,
but that we have the opportunity to exchange the past
for a better future. In other words, we might contemplate
(21:51):
that food addiction might be a result of having starved
to death in past lives. Because I studied past life
regression with evolutionary or strology Patricia Walsh back in twenty
twelve and thirteen, I witnessed I had my own regressions,
but I witnessed many of them, and as well as
readings by evolutionary astrologer Stephen Forrest of other people. And
(22:16):
there are many times when someone who has weight issues
had to deal with, you know, having starved to death,
like I said, and that now, if that's the case,
we can, you know, make sure that we have enough
so that we don't have to allow our unconscious drive
(22:37):
to move us toward habitual overeating or hoarding likewise for
loss of weight, right there are. I had a client
once who had certain signatures that showed that she would
not eat because she gave her food to her lover.
So in a sense, she sacrificed her own nutritional needs
(22:59):
for someone else's. Now, drug and alcohol addictions may be
related to having needed to escape mental, physical, emotional, or
spiritual pain, or any combination of those that prevented us
from existing, experiencing, and enjoying life.
Speaker 2 (23:15):
In the quote unquote real world.
Speaker 1 (23:18):
Now beginning new habits now, which I'll refer to in
Virgo in terms as rituals can replace old ones. And
I use the word ritual it comes up a lot
when we're talking about Virgo in the sixth House, because
if you have a habit that's unconscious, you know, you
feel depressed, or you feel you feel anxious, so you
(23:39):
go to the refrigerator. You know you're upset about a conversation,
so you smoke a cigarette, or you know a lot
of times people smoke out of habit with their morning coffee,
as I had several friends who did that. Or you
know you're upset about a conversation and it replaces or
(24:00):
somehow seems to feel like it can alleviate anxiety. And
the same thing of course with drugs and alcohol. So again, diet, exercise, meditation, mindfulness,
and sleep adjustments all make sense as ways to further
take care of ourselves so that we're ready to be
of service to our fellow humans if and when we
(24:20):
are called to do so. And I'm sorry I didn't
finish my thought about rituals. When we replace an unconsciously
driven habit, we start to become conscious of it. Then
every time we reach for something in the refrigerator or
the cigarette or to go to sleep because we're depressed,
or the drink or the drugs, we can replace it
(24:42):
with something of a ritualistic nature, which is what meditation
or mindfulness or exercise can become.
Speaker 2 (24:50):
Right.
Speaker 1 (24:51):
So, once we do this or start to do it habitually,
we replace basically what I just said, unconscious driven behavioral
pattern which has become over time a habit, but an
unconscious one, with a consciously replaced ritual, and that is
(25:13):
to take a walk, and that is to do some
of the things that maybe you used to love doing,
like painting or singing or dancing or just sitting or
walking or moving, meditation or anything else that puts you
in a mindful state. As that gives us, you know
(25:36):
what I'm saying now, I'm hoping can give us a
heads up that at the Pisces full moon lunary clips
on September seventh, will be asked to release anything that
smacks of our tendency toward perfectionism. Right, so, as we're
trying to up level our diet or our sleep patterns
(25:56):
or whatever, it's not about criticized ourselves because one of
the issues. One of the negative issues also associated with
the Virgo archetype is that, as I said before, we
feel guilt or shame or you know, we blame ourselves
that you know, oh, I dieted for nine days and
then you know, I thought, I just have that one
(26:17):
bite of chocolate cake, and I ate the whole goddamn thing.
You know. Okay, So tomorrow or today is the first
day of the rest of your life, like they used
to say back in the seventies.
Speaker 2 (26:30):
When I was a kid.
Speaker 1 (26:33):
But it's never permanent. We can always change things. And
if we get mired in that guilt or that shame,
it's harder. It's like a vicious cycle. Right. The more
we feel guilt or shame, the more we impress upon
ourselves that we have to do better, with the with
the unconscious or unspoken aim being that we have to
(26:56):
be perfect right because when is good good enough?
Speaker 2 (27:01):
But that's not the.
Speaker 1 (27:01):
Case at all, as I've said, So if we can
release our tendency towards this kind of perfectionism, because it
really doesn't serve us to feel guilty or shameful that
we didn't achieve it, we have to first realize that
perfectionism is a defense mechanism against suffering from the fear
of losing control and then experiencing chaos, and chaos is
(27:27):
really a metaphor for going mad. We're afraid that will
be overwhelmed and flooded by the subconscious or the unconscious,
and it'll drive us insane. So now let's remember that
we're today August twenty second until the new moon at
(27:48):
the times that I've mentioned later tonight and earlier tomorrow
on the East coast, that we're ending the Leo new
Moon monthly cycle, and that during this past waning week
or the last third quarter square a portion since the
August fifteenth and sixteenth third quarter crisis in consciousness lunar
(28:09):
square of the stubborn Taurus moon to the theatrical Leo's sun.
We've seen the theatrics of the Trump Putin meeting in Alaska,
and how despite Trump's previous threats to sanction Russia if
they didn't agree to a ceasefire in Ukraine, he is
then instead again flip flopped on this position by the
(28:32):
time the moon entered Gemini and conjoined with Urinus there
the day after on August sixteenth. So here's what I
said on last week's podcast, which is that the Trump
Putin Alaska meeting on August fifteenth, the day before this
exact moon Urinus conjunction and Gemini on the sixteenth quote
will happen as we wax toward the exact square of
(28:56):
the stubborn change resistant Taurus moon to the royal Leo sun.
So what could go wrong? Both sides, both Russia and
Ukraine ultimately sticking to their guns, and given that there's
a Gemini moon Urinus conjunction perfecting the next day on
August sixteenth, you think something said won't be changed, recanted, denied,
(29:20):
or flat out lied about, Well, my money's on that
right now, but we'll see end to quote. So I
nailed it right. Trump immediately began to simply echo Putin's
talking points about how Ukraine started the war, which is
completely untrue, and that there can be no ceasefire unless
Ukraine seed some of its territories to Russia, et cetera. Next,
(29:42):
as the monthly lunar cycle continued to wane, Trump met
with Ukraine Zelenski on August eighteenth, who was flanked by
the leaders of NATO and several European nations including France,
Germany and the UK and more there to show solidarity
and uniity in favor of Ukraine against continued Russian aggression.
(30:05):
And this only went so far with Trump, however, since
his natal Sagittarius moon opposite his Gemini son Uranus once
again led him to think he knew better than all
of them, and instead shamelessly project his long standing admiration
of Putin, currently one of the world's most dangerous dictators,
hell bent on occupying, if not completely annihilating, Ukrainian sovereignty,
(30:30):
and in doing so, Trump's manipulation to achieve quote unquote
perfect numbers continued. We have his parroting Putin's advice to
him to stop allowing mail in votes, which Trump erroneously
said he believes is not done anywhere but in the US,
when in fact, at least thirty different voting nations allow
(30:52):
mail in ballots, as does Russia itself.
Speaker 2 (30:56):
Now, Trump's ignorance on this.
Speaker 1 (30:57):
Score should scare just about everyone, though if his overall
ignorance of so many other topics hasn't done so already,
there's probably little hope that this will sway his hardcore
group of supporters. Now what started at the Leo new moon,
when Mars conjoined the Virgo self node and both squared Hygiea,
(31:19):
the asteroid of health ended the same way with an
aggressive manipulation of data, statistics, and numbers in direct antipathy
to statistically evaluated, provable facts. That this has impacted the
health of this nation as it switches under Trump's refusal
to accept reality to false and falsified data should alarm
(31:43):
everyone now. So it's important to note that this Virgo
new moon will also be conjunct the fixed star Regulus,
the king maker and potential king breaker, and that both
luminaries are square to Uranus in Gemini. Now, Regulus denotes
great power, but also a great fall from power if
(32:03):
one abuses is or her powerful position. I'd say, as
Trump's approval ratings continue to sink in the polls, that
this is a long term process, given that transiting Urinus
and Taurus has already squared his natal twenty six Leo,
Mars his twenty nine Leo ascendant, and Regulus the latter
(32:24):
two both at twenty nine Taurus, and that Urinus will
once again square these points when he begins his retrograde
journey back into Taurus by November ninth, if not before,
Uranus is going to actually retrograde station retrograde next week
on No, not next week, but yeah, next week on
(32:45):
what's today twenty second, No, in two weeks on September
fifth and sixth, depending on your time zone. And we'll
talk more about that next week. But November ninth is
when will move back into tourists, so he'll be at
twenty nine tourist. I discussed this last week and the
(33:05):
week before, I believe, and then once again re squaring
some of these points, I think he comes within a
degree of rescar re squaring the Mars, but he will
hit exact two more times at least Trump's ascendant and
needle regulus, both at twenty nine twenty nine LEO. So
that November ninth, this date is shortly after the US
(33:30):
off year elections, when turnout is traditionally lower than during
the mid term or presidential election years. We might surmise
that these election results may pave the way for less
enthusiasm for both Trump and the GOP Congress people in general.
As always, we shall see. Now I'll mention two that
(33:53):
just yesterday, no, the day before, which was August twentieth
the Tea, the Texas Democrats returned to the state after
having fled so that they couldn't provide a quorum, so
that the legislature there could vote on jerry mandering the
Texas maps and giving Trump his five more GOP seats there,
(34:18):
which I believe, if I'm not incorrect, limits minority ruled
districts to two out of the entire state. That the
Democrats came back, they allowed the legislation or the move
to pass. But just today also, I'm sorry, yesterday, on
(34:40):
the twenty first, the California House Democrats pushed through a
redistricting plan to counteract Texas's GOP ahead of the twenty
twenty six midterms. So the California Democrats measure to create
a new ballot question is one of three redistricting bills
that are exp to pass in the state Senate and
(35:02):
House then reach Governor Gavin Newsom for his signature today.
Speaker 2 (35:06):
According to the Washington.
Speaker 1 (35:08):
Post, state voters must then decide in November on a
plan that would create five new Democratic leaning congressional districts. So,
of course, again my point is that we're talking about
numbers here, and gerrymandering is a way to reduce democratic
districts in states throughout the country in those particularly red states,
(35:31):
while the Blue states are attempting to counteract that by
redistricting plans of their own. Now I just saw this
because we were talking about legislative stuff. I just want
to mention it. This is also according to the Washington Post,
that broke. As I'm recording this, it's late afternoon on Thursday,
the twenty first sorry of August, federal judge rules Alina Habit,
(35:57):
Trump's pick for US attorney in New Jersey is not
serving lawfully. The decision means Habba must be disqualified from
participating in ongoing cases, but the judge paused his decision
to give the Justice Department a chance to appeal. All right,
we'll talk more about that next week. Because for those
(36:19):
of you who are from my neck of the woods,
meaning New York, New Jersey, Washington, d C, Connecticut, et cetera,
there is you know, this is an ongoing situation which
we can get back to later. In any case, I
want to go back to the Virgo New Moon, which
(36:41):
is as I said, you know, I kind of segued
into the legislative stuff, but that this at this Virgo
new Moon, the Virgo Sun will Quincunk's Saturn and aies
exact square Uranus and Gemini, then Quincunk's Neptune and areas
(37:02):
and Quincuk's Pluto and Aquarius between August twenty third and
twenty fourth. Now Quincunx's or one hundred and fifty degree
aspects between planets denote the necessity for an adjustment, while
squares in general represent tensions. Since Saturn and Neptune are
still both close together at zero thirty five degrees zero
(37:25):
degrees thirty five minutes and one degree thirty four minutes arees, respectively,
at this lunation, both are quincunx by the Virgo or
will be Quincunk's by the Virgo Sun and Moon. We
can see that an adjustment may be necessary in terms
of the dissolution of the foundational structure of in this
(37:47):
case America or America's governmental agencies, et cetera. Whether this
and that includes the judiciary, right, I mean, we're talking
about the dissolution between the three branches of government and
particularly within the legal judiciary brands. So whether this adjustment
will be one that empowers citizens or disempowers them may
(38:10):
be a direct result of the fact that both Saturn
and Neptunin areas form a sextile or an opportunity to
Pluto in Aquarius. Now, the Saturn Pluto sextile presents us
all with the opportunity to quote understand that forces the
forces that make you an individual. According to astrologer Rob
(38:31):
Hand in his book Planets and Transit, quote you know
exactly what you can demand of yourself, and you push
yourself to the limit, but not beyond. Consequently, this can
be a time of great achievements. He says, focused energy
is recommended so that your quote energy hits exactly the
(38:51):
right target.
Speaker 2 (38:52):
Hand advisors because this.
Speaker 1 (38:54):
Applies oh and this applies to both internal and external
work as Meanwhile, the sextile of Neptune to Pluto, which
has existed in the sky for the past eighty years
or so, will likely be less experiential as its effects
are more long term now. According to astrologer David Lawrence Palmer,
(39:23):
who's also known as the Leo King Quote, there are
forty nine Neptune sextile Pluto aspects from nineteen fifty to
twenty thirty two, which occur in three separate time frames.
Fifteen between nineteen fifty and nineteen fifty six, twenty one
from nineteen seventy six to nineteen eighty six, and thirteen
(39:44):
from twenty twenty six to twenty thirty two, and he continues,
Neptune sextile Pluto gives a pioneering spirit, making you unafraid
to challenge the accepted way of thinking and doing things.
He explains, you can deconstruct any aspect of life, a system,
a belief, or a procedure. You can remove political, religious, cultural,
(40:07):
and gender bias and reconstructed in a more advanced and
unadulterated state. You are inspired by truth and human potential
end quote. Given that, transmitting Pluto's now at one degree
twenty six minutes Aquarius, we're starting to see quote larger
forces for social change happening around us that may ultimately
(40:29):
prove that beliefs and opinions you have held all your
life are invalid, agrees rob Hand. Therefore, quote this is
an opportunity to clear away the dead wood in your
brain and start over again.
Speaker 2 (40:42):
He concludes.
Speaker 1 (40:43):
Since both Neptune and Pluto are known as collective planets,
this bodes well for society in general, as does the
Urinus Pluto airy trine, which I discussed during last week's podcast.
So the suns. Meanwhile, the Sun's quincunxes to Saturn, Neptune
and Pluto indicate at this Virgo new moon.
Speaker 2 (41:06):
I'm talking about that.
Speaker 1 (41:07):
In order to take advantage of these current sextiles, the
longer lasting Saturn Neptune one combined with I'm sorry, Saturn
Pluto and Neptune Pluto, we must first acknowledge that adjustments
to our beliefs and ways of thinking must occur, and
that's in alignment in general with Uranus and Gemini, but
(41:30):
also with even more rapid changes. By the time the
Virgo Sun forms its mutable square to Uranus in Gemini
on August twenty fourth, I mean, the square is there
at this lunation, but twenty fourth is the exact perfection
of that square between the Sun and Urinus. So let's
(41:50):
note that the moon first squared Uranus on August eighteenth,
as Trump met with Zelenski at al at the White House,
but then disappeared suddenly to call Vladimir Putin. When Trump
returned to the meeting, he seemed hell bent on pontificating
on what Putin had told him about the detriments of
mail in voting, none of which, as I said before,
(42:12):
was based on fact. Overall, I think it's fair to
say we might still expect the unexpected on this score,
and that it ain't over till it's over, if you
know what I mean. Now, that might be related to
the Russia Ukraine situation, might be related to other conflicts
such as Israel and Gaza, but again, just in general,
(42:37):
this is something to keep in mind. We have to
start changing our mindset because our old beliefs are no
longer going to prove to be valid. I think that
also relates to things on the legislative side or the
legal side, where we're also dealing with the fact that
the polls are showing how far down Democrats are those
(43:00):
who support Democrats, and that changes are going to be
necessary in the primaries, where perhaps they do away with
the primaries for registered Republicans or Democrats only and open
them up to independence as well, and that the Democrats
start to accept the primarying by one Democrat to another,
(43:21):
particularly younger Democrats to those who are aging out and
are stuck in that mindset. From twenty thirty forty to
fifty sixty years ago, all right. So we might note
too that this Burgo New Moon's combination of both luminaries
squared to Uranus along with its yad formation, which is
(43:43):
so called when two or more planets form a sextile
to another planet. Along with quincunxes two are from a
third planet or planets, and that ad yad is often
known as the finger of God. And what's most important
about this is that it's seems, according to traditional astrology,
to be a faded aspect. Now, I could probably take
(44:05):
a whole podcast to discuss whether you know fate versus
free will is inherent in this aspect or not, but
y odds are really not my area of expertise, so
I'm going to put that on hold for now. In
this case, as Saturn and Neptune together form sextiles to
Pluto and all three are quincunkst at this lunation by
(44:28):
the Moon and the Sun in Virgo, the Moon and
the Sun become the focal point of the od. So again,
Saturn and Neptune both are sixty degrees away from Pluto,
while all three of them are one hundred and fifty
degrees away from the Moon and the Sun in Virgo,
and therefore the lunation itself is the focal point of
(44:51):
the odd and the outlet for the Sun and the
Moon and Virgo becomes the point directly opposite them. Now,
the lunation is at zero degrees twenty three minutes of Virgo,
so the opposite point is zero degrees twenty three minutes
of Pisces. Now, when we look at this lunation in
(45:12):
the chart of Washington, DC, we can see that Pluto's
in the eighth house, Saturn and Neptune are in the
tenth house, while the lunation occurs in the third house.
So that places the opposition point to the Virgo, Moon
and Sun in the ninth house and Pisces. And since
there is no planet currently there at zero degrees or
(45:33):
anywhere near zero twenty three of Pisces, we have to
interpret this via the ninth house placement alone. So to
take advantage of the sextele opportunities outlined here, that this
can be a time of great achievement, though we must
give up old beliefs in exchange for new ones in
order to affect long term social change, that an adjustment
(45:56):
is also necessary for this to work. This adjustment begins
in the third house, in which the moon and sun
conjunction at this lunation is domiciled, which is the house
of communication, siblings, brothers, sisters, twins. You know, I think
the concept of brotherhood and sisterhood rather than just literal siblings, youth, friends,
(46:24):
local business, neighborhoods, and transportation.
Speaker 2 (46:27):
But is also the house.
Speaker 1 (46:28):
Of elementary learning. So is it faded that our way
forward to achieve relearning what we perhaps already thought we
were sure we knew in order to affect social change
is through hard, concentrated effort right now to move toward
the ninth house, aka the expansion of consciousness, and in
(46:50):
pisces that this higher consciousness includes spirituality, empathy, and the
art of divination. The house in traditional astrology is the
house of dim divination, among the other things mentioned.
Speaker 2 (47:05):
In other words, we.
Speaker 1 (47:06):
May not have to tangibly, empirically or physically see this
happening right now to understand on another more spiritual or
intuitive level that it's in the works. Meanwhile, Venus, the
planet of beauty, love, resources, values, and relationships by virtue
(47:27):
of Venus, Dorus's rulership of the second house in the
natural chart enters Sun ruled Leo on October. I'm sorry,
I don't know why I keep reading August as a
different month. Venus enters Leo on August twenty fifth, where
she'll remain until she enters more practical, earthy Virgo on
September nineteenth. In Leo, Venus wants to shine, be noticed
(47:52):
as the center of attention, and magnanimously shine her good
graces on those she deems worthy of love, disregard, however,
those she thinks are unworthy. But also while in Leo,
which is the sign of individuality, Venus opposes Pluto in
group oriented Aquarius on August twenty sixth or twenty seven,
(48:14):
depending on your time zone, and this highlights an intensification
of our emotions, both individually and collectively, at being forced
to submit to the power of a group. The Venus
Pluto opposition in Air, the modality most representative of partnership,
(48:35):
denotes an intensity of emotions that can prevent us from
recognizing or quote accurately evaluating the potential of a relationship
that tries to exert power by manipulating jealousy, guilt, or
some other negative emotion.
Speaker 2 (48:51):
According to rob hand, So we.
Speaker 1 (48:53):
Can see that as the Virgo New Moon is being formed,
and we are going to plant seeds that allow us
to understand that we are perfect in all our imperfections
as a way to reduce or eliminate any shame or
guilt we feel around not achieving perfection. That meanwhile, others
(49:15):
may try to manipulate us by making us feel bad
about ourselves. Right, and that could be people who are
in relationship with personally or people were in relationship with
through our voting capabilities. Okay, I haven't yet mentioned the
attempted flooding of Washington, d C. With more States National
(49:37):
Guard troops since last week. As now not only West Virginia, Ohio,
and South Carolina, but Tennessee, Mississippi, and Louisiana have committed
over eleven hundred troops in total to support a federal
effort to supposedly address crime in the nation's capital. And
I say supposedly because the crime rate in Washington, DC
(50:00):
hit a historical low recently, and because most of these
troops have reportedly been focused in tourist areas such as
around the US Capitol and the Washington Monument rather than
on the known higher crime areas in the DC environs.
Now clearly, as we wax toward the exact Venus Pluto
(50:22):
opposition on August twenty six or twenty seventh, there's quite
a bit of passion in the air directed against such
power moves that seek to disenfranchise the freedom of movement
of people in DC, if not in other places. However,
we have another opportunity now to open our minds to
higher levels of consciousness, as Uranus and Gemini waxes toward
(50:45):
a sextel to Neptunearis, which perfects on August twenty eighth,
So between now and then we may begin to transform
our ideals, aims, and objectives. According to Rob Hann, who says,
quote as you as your consciousness evolves, you will begin
to associate with others whose views are similar, so that
(51:06):
you can reinforce and strengthen each other's insights. This sextile
rises above Orthodox religion and other more mundane Saturnine type
belief systems and allows us to benefit from a more
spiritual understanding of our world through metaphysics such as astrology.
(51:27):
This is because more rigid analyzes of the world will
not suffice now, and this jibes as well with the
yad formed at this Virgo new moon, whose outlet points
to the ninth House under expansive Jupiter's natural rulership in
Neptune ruled Pisces, which includes collective empathy. No surprise that
(51:48):
all of this seems to portender reaction against the current
attempts to control our environment through martial restraint, a lack
of all inclusivity, a disregard for the Life Eagle system,
higher education, and the benefits immigrants bring to this country.
In so much more so. On that note, I'll end
(52:09):
with this, which is that next week we'll focus on
the upcoming first quarter crisis and action. Mutable square of
the Sagittarius moon to the Virgo sun on August thirty,
thirtieth and thirty first, Saturn's retrograde back into Pisces on
September first, Mercury and Leo's quincunks to Saturn in Pisces
(52:31):
and his entrance into Virgo on September second, and then
Mars quincunks from Virgo to Neptune in Areas on September
second and third, and Mercury's square into Urinus. Mercury will
be in Virgo square to Uranus in Gemini we may
(52:52):
hear something again not unlike a Sun Mercury conjunction or
a Sun square to Uranus, something so prizing or shocking,
and Mercury's quincungst to Pluto, both of which occur on
September third. You see how Mercury is following the same
aspects as Venus did. So let's see what these Venus
(53:16):
aspects bring so we can better extrapolate what might occur
when Mercury follows in her footsteps. Agreed, We'll also have
Mars in Libra square to Jupiter in cancer and often
explosive energy, which will perfect on September fourth, while Urinus
will station retrograde in Gemini on September fifth or sixth,
(53:39):
again depending on your time zone. At the Mars Jupiter square,
Mars will also be opposite the asteroid series, which represents
both literal sustenance in terms of food and faith. As
I've outlined numerous times before, that all three.
Speaker 2 (53:56):
Will form a T square.
Speaker 1 (53:58):
With Mars in librapp series and areas with both of
them square to Jupiter, and Cancer likely denotes issues around
what I call angry nurturing. My guess is that by then,
if not before, we'll see even more disturbing news out
of Gaza, given the current level of malnutrition and starvation
(54:20):
taking place there currently. Also given that Heiress the dwarf
planet of chaos in discord, and please remember when I
mentioned Eris. In Greek mythology, sees the sister of Mars,
who roamed the battlefield, according to Homer, bringing increased pain
and suffering to the wounded and dying. She is not,
(54:43):
in my opinion, a feminist in that sense, unless you
want to think of her. I mean, I don't know.
I have thoughts about that, but we can discuss that
another time. I don't think it's very feminist to be
bringing more pain to people, do you. It's certainly not,
you know, depiction of anima versus animus. Right. Anyway, Aris
(55:05):
is going to conjoin instead of giving that Eris and
wounded healer Chiron, both currently retrograde, are running close together
in aries between now until they meet again exactly on
October ninth, twenty twenty five, at twenty five degrees in fifteen.
Speaker 2 (55:24):
Minutes of ares.
Speaker 1 (55:25):
I don't think we're in for a period of calm
in the US for quite a while yet, especially when
it comes to the current conflicts between again Israel and
Gaza and Russia and Ukraine. I have not harped in
this podcast on things that run through my mind all
the time, which is stuff I've talked ad nauseum about,
(55:46):
like the larger cycles of Saturn Pluco, Saturn Pluto and
Jupiter Saturn and you know, Saturn Neptune.
Speaker 2 (55:59):
But also so that you know, we will.
Speaker 1 (56:06):
Sorry lost my train of thought for a second, and
the US Pluto return, That's where I'm going here. I'm
not I'm mindful that people may have tuned out to
this podcast going oh oh again with the Pluto return,
you know, but whatever. Anyway, so we'll keep an eye
on this aris Chiron conjunction since it's going to occur
(56:30):
in the US Sibley Chart's fourth house, where it recurred
where it occurred already there, and that it's a repeat
of the May twenty sixth conjunction of these two at
twenty five degrees in twenty.
Speaker 2 (56:41):
Eight minutes of areas, so not far.
Speaker 1 (56:44):
From the twenty five to fifteen areas that's going to
recur in October, as it marks the time period back
in May during which Trump and Elon Musk had the
falling out of their prior bromounce. So I'm guessing there's
going to be a lot to discuss as we head
(57:06):
into next week's Labor Day weekend, which will include because
next week will be August twenty ninth, and the week
after we'll start with the eclipses, so I'll probably talk
next week also about the pair of eclipses happening in September,
starting with this Pisces full moon, which is lunar eclipse
(57:28):
that I touched on this week. So please please be
sure to join me again next week on August twenty
ninth for another episode of Karmic Evolutions astrologically speaking, until then,
may your soul's journey be filled with karmaic healing and
the joy of greater consciousness.
Speaker 2 (57:46):
