We’re in the early waxing stage of the monthly lunar cycle begun with the Libra New Moon—which formed a grand cross as it opposed the chaos-causing wounds via Chiron & Eris, & squared Jupiter as it opposed Pluto--on October 21.
This posed tensions around the area of partnership. Pluto represents power & control, as well as joint resources & other peoples’ money, among other things. Since the Sun’s been in Scorpio since October 22, it’s now ruled by Pluto. 
So, as the Scorpio Sun squares Pluto in Aquarius October 24, we’ve already seen power plays, particularly those related to money, including taxpayer’s money (read: other peoples’ money) & its effect on the U.S. economy.
Meanwhile, President Donald Trump is taking corporate donors' money to fund his $200M 90,000 square foot ballroom addition to the White House & has already begun the destruction of the East Wing there. 
Nothing speaks more clearly to the fact that million & billionaires now influence government policy than this. As my Capricorn mother used to say: “He who has the money has the power.” I hate to admit now that she was right. 
Consider the symbolism: As the president of the United States takes corporate money to destroy a part of the White House—known as “the people’s house,” do we not realize that this is what’s happening now to the U.S. Government?
The heavens are reflecting back to us the power plays occurring here in the U.S. as the government remains shutdown & funding for many different services—such as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) which feeds millions of poor people & their children in all 50 states—run out of funds November 1.
Meanwhile, the destruction of the East Wing, made possibly by rich peoples’ donations, tells us that something is not right here. By the time Mercury enters Sagittarius & we reach the first quarter lunar “crisis in action” square of the Aquarius Moon to the Scorpio Sun October 29, will even more than the seven million people who attended No Kings Day peaceful protests be called to action?

this week's astro news you can use now. Before we

experienced the October twenty first libernew Moon last Tuesday, we
were in the ball sound, wazing, waning phase of the
Virgo new moon's solar eclipse from September twenty first, which
asked us to plant seeds to help ourselves first, so
that we'd be healthy and strong enough to be of
service to others. Given that context, it's interesting that we

(09:17):
experienced the nationwide No King's Day on October eighteenth, at
the end of this monthly lunar cycle, when a reported
seven million people took to the streets to protest a
government trying to take away the funding and services which
keep so many of us healthy. That this has been

(09:37):
due not only to the government shut down, which as
of today will be in its twenty fourth day since
October first, but also to the ongoing efforts to eliminate
federal civil servant jobs, reduce access to affordable healthcare and
food benefits, strengthen the ability of armed federal troops to

(09:58):
enter our cities, and so much more that should be
at this point obvious. Meanwhile, as mentioned last week, we
had Mercury waxing towards Mars in Scorpio, an aspect which
perfected as a conjunction late on October nineteenth and early
on October twentieth, depending on your time zone. Now, Mercury

(10:20):
represents communication, while Pluto ruled Scorpio represents, among other things, trust, loyalty,
joint resources, power and control potentially related to subterfuge and
manipulation or secrets. That speech has been used to manipulate
facts in favor of propaganda, to coerce people into believing

(10:44):
things that are not factually true. Becomes obvious when you
realize that people like Mike Johnson, the GOP majority leader
and Speaker of the House, actually publicly called the No
Kin King's Day protests Hate America rally. Now he's not
the only one, but remember he's a leader of the House,

supposed to be a sane guy, right. He has also
since stated that George Soros funded No King's Day by
paying protesters to take to the streets. Both claims are
obviously false. It's just too bad that Johnson's drunk the
Trump kool aid at this point. But remember, Pluto ruled

Scorpio is about money. As noted, and that Johnson's publicly
espoused propagandist theory about George Soros is also an anti
Semitic trope. George Soros is a Jewish billionaire. At the
same time when the Trump administration is claiming that anyone
protesting the war in Gaza is anti Semitic and punishing

them for their constitutional right to free speech, the hypocrisy
of this could not be more obvious nor more ludicrous,
at least to those capable of utilizing them critical thinking skills.
Also during the waxing period of Mercury to Mars and Scorpio,
as The Boston Globe reported on October seventeenth, quote President

Trump said he has commuted the sentence of former US
Representative George Santos, who is serving more than seven years
in federal prison after pleading guilty to fraud and identity
theft charges. End to quote. Bear in mind that a commutation,
unlike a pardon, does not wipe out the prior conviction. Rather,

(12:31):
it simply reduces a convicted person's sentence to a lesser
period of time. So Santos was released from prison in
that evening after his commutation by President Trump, after serving
only three months of his entire seven year sentence. And
bear in mind that Santos' crimes had to do with
bilking people out of money. Now who does that? Now?

(12:55):
Who does that remind you of? Oh? Right, the guy
who commuted his sentence. Right. Meanwhile, we learned also about
the private text chat messages between members of the New
York Young Republicans Chapter, meaning basically anyone under forty not
so young as some would have us believe that they're
like teens or college kids, that espoused support for Nazism.

And by the time Mars, Mercury and Mars perfected its
exact conjunction in Scorpio, the Young Republican New York Chapter
was quote suspended following a unanimous vote after Politico the
publication documented racist and anti Semitic chats from members. According
to the publication, The Guardian, which also I'm sorry that's

(13:44):
their quote now is another quote. The move comes after
a bombshell report revealed hundreds of racist, bigoted, and anti
Semitic remarks in a group chat, according to CBS News.
So we then experiencedly New Moon, which formed a grand
cross through its square to Jupiter in cancer opposition to

Chiron and airiscenaries and an out of signed square to
Pluto and Aquarius. At that point, Mercury was barely separating
from its exact conjunction to marsin Scorpio, and President Trump
announced that he was thinking of suing the Department of
Justice over his twenty twenty three to twenty twenty four
federal prosecutions. Now that essentially means he's asking for reimbursement

to the tune of two hundred and thirty million dollars
from the Department of Justice for wrongful prosecution. First of all,
of course, even though the Independent Council Special Council Jack
Smith's case was dropped after Trump won the twenty twenty
four election, Trump is suing his own DOJ and asking taxpayers,

and that's you and me, if you live in America,
to pay this quote unquote bill. Now, this is tantamount
to dorkson as per legal analyst and former FBI General
Counsel Andrew Weisman, who also served as a lead prosecutor
on the Mueller Report investigation, which investigated Russian involvement in

the twenty sixteen election and which eventually led to the
conviction of GOP operative Paul manifort. There's also the fact
that by the time of this liber New Moon and
the Mercury Mars conjunction in secretive scorpio, Trump's previous lie
that he had planned to build a two hundred million

(15:34):
dollar ball room that would not involve the demolition of
the East Wing of the White House was revealed. And
that's because photos and videos of the East wings destruction
by bulldozers is something we've all been able to see
with our own eyes. Now, so let's recognize the symbolism
of this. I'm not the first one to say this.

(15:56):
By far, the White House is known as the People's rago.
It belongs to all Americans. First, Trump demolished its rose Garden,
a place tended traditionally by first ladies, only to replace
it with a concrete floored outside space with tables and umbrellas.

(16:17):
Now he's decimating the White House's East Wing to build
a nine hundred person ballroom funded by corporate interests. In fact,
it's said that donor's names will be listed there. So
in short, Trump has circumvented using taxpayer dollars by using
instead funds from companies from whom he's either already solicited

(16:39):
and received such bribes or from whom he plans to
receive some other form of loyalty in the future. So
let's again recognize this now for what it is, a
continuation of the attempted invasion of the US Capital on
January sixth of twenty twenty one, when people repelled their

(17:00):
way up the walls of the building in order to
gain entrance, roamed the halls searching for Nancy Pelosi, not
to hug her. They smeared feces on the inside walls
and built a gallows outside while screaming through bullhorns for
the hanging of the US President Mike Pence. And that's

(17:22):
not even mentioning many of those presents use of stun guns, flagpoles,
pepper and bear sprays and more as weapons to injure
Capitol police who tried to stop this invasion incited by
someone who claimed to win an election he actually factually lost.

(17:43):
Now Trump is continuing the defacement and destruction of a
portion of the White House, again known as the People's
House with impunity. Nothing reeks of the symbolic destruction of
the democratic system as a whole by the defacement of
the respective buildings. Most American people hold deer one where

(18:07):
they are elected officials do business on behalf of us,
the American people, their constituents, and the place where the
president dwells and meets and greets foreign dignitaries, and has
other significant meetings and makes significant announcements related to the

(18:29):
health of the nation. So as memes on social media
have already pointed out destroying a part of the people's
home to house to build a two hundred million dollar
ballroom funded by private entity capitalists while people go hungry,
smacks not only have special favors granted private funders by
a corrupt government, but is also reminiscent of the phrase

(18:53):
let them eat cake during the French Revolution. Whether that
phrase is apocab full or not. So money's given to
politicians in return for political favors is illegal. Let's try
to remember that. And here here is Trump who's already
been doing that, especially for people like Elon Musk, who,

(19:15):
despite Trump's previous threats after their romance fallout, managed not
only to maintain but to increase his company's government contracts
since then. Remember how he donated two hundred and something
million dollars to Trump's presidential campaign According to CNN, the
companies that donated to the building of a ninety thousand

(19:37):
square I'm sorry, ninety yeah, ninety thousand square foot ballroom
include Apple, Amazon, Lockheed, Martin, Microsoft, Google, Coinbase, Comcast, and Meta.
According to the White House, nothing emphasizes that capitalism has
led to the growth in inequality and of representation between

(20:02):
the rich and the poor in the country than this,
and that this inequality has given birth to the rise
of a wannabee monarch is exemplified by the monumental arch
Trump is planning to build in Washington, d C. According
to The New York Times on October twenty first, quote,
President Trump has proposed construction of an arch in the

(20:23):
style of the Arc de Triumph in Washington in the
lead up to the nation's two hundred and fiftieth anniversary.
Mister Trump publicly unveiled his plans for the arch last
week during a dinner for the wealthy donors who are
funding the two hundred million dollars ballroom. Addition to the
White House, it goes on, mister Trump said the arch

would be set on Memorial Circle aroundabout in front of
Arlington National Cemetery and across the Potomac River from the
Lincoln Memorial Anyone entering or leaving the nation's capital via
Arlington Memorial Bridge, which stress stretches across the river, would
have a full view of the arch at that site.

(21:05):
And the article continues. A journalist asked mister Trump last
week who the arch is for. He responded me, It's
going to be beautiful, end to quote. So the arch
has planned to commemorate the two hundred and fiftieth anniversary
of the United States in July next year, July fourth,
as well as the rise of Donald Trump as an autocrat.

(21:29):
Think of this arch as the arch to the triumph
of Trump, and you'll fully get what I'm trying to
say here. All right, So let's move on. Since Neptune
retrograded back into Pisces from Aris on October twenty second,
we're all being given the opportunity to review what's happened
since Neptune entered Aries on March thirtieth. I've said before,

(21:53):
also on this podcast, that I believe the combination of
these energies Neptune and Mars ruled area is will result
not only in increased warming of the seas, but also
an armed conflict that occurs on the world's oceans. We
have obvious proof of that, given the US attacks on
boats in the Caribbean that Donald Trump claims are ferrying

(22:15):
drugs to America, despite the fact that these claims are
not backed up by proof. Despite this, however, at least
eight boats to date have now been fired upon at
least thirty two people of those aboard those boats have
been killed. In recent days, the US military has expanded
this undeclared war against no nation but rather against drug

(22:41):
cartels two boats in the Pacific. So nothing highlights the
point that boundaries between the executive, judicial, and congressional branches
are and continue to be eroded. Then the fact that
its Congress's job, through the war powers act to declare
war or not the presidents to do so unilaterally. Plus

(23:05):
firing on or attacking vessels in international warders is a
violation of internationally accepted maritime law. Now proof of this
comes as the boundaries between states are also dissolving given
the current gerrymandering happening even as we speak. An update

(23:29):
about what's happening state by state is easy enough to google,
but I'll add this, which comes from the Parnas perspective
on October twenty three. Quote, In a surprise move, Virginia
Democrats are preparing to redraw the state's congressional maps, aiming
to pick up two or three new seats in Congress,
a bold and unexpected power play. End quote. Remember too,

that redistricting of congressional districts usually occurs every ten years
after the results of the census, which is mandated to
be taken by law every decade. This time, however, states
like Texas have already announced that they would attempt to
redistrict in order to keep a GOP majority in the

(24:14):
House of Representatives at the behest of Donald Trump, and
for no other reason than that. So Neptune will now
transit back through Pisces and will station direct while he's
still in Pisces on December tenth, and Neptune will then
re enter Ares on January twenty sixth of twenty twenty six.

(24:36):
So during that time, we have the opportunity to review
the influence of Neptune during its short time in Mars
world Ares and to become conscious of what that might
mean when Neptune re enters Aries for the long term
next year. And I believe it's important to mention that
on October twentieth, which yes, was two days before the

(24:58):
actual re entrance of Neptune retrograde into Pisces. But remember,
the planet is pretty much like almost stopped at that point,
you know, as it's moving pretty slowly even though it's
moving backwards. And the world experienced an interruption to Internet
transmissions via a massive Amazon Web Services outage that affected

(25:23):
thousands of services. Now, as I've explained on previous podcasts,
the backbone of the Internet is primarily supported by undersea cables,
which form and connect the global data centers that host
cloud services. So while satellites play a supporting role primarily

(25:45):
by providing access to cloud services in remote or underserved
areas where terrestrial infrastructure is lacking, over ninety nine percent
of transoceanic data travels through more than seven hundred and
fifty thousand miles of undersea cables, which are the main

(26:07):
arteries for connectivity between continents. And it's these undersea fiber
optic cables that provide the high speed connections necessary for
data intensive services like cloud computing, like AI and like streaming.

(26:28):
So meanwhile, satellites offer a solution mostly for users and
organizations and locations without access to traditional Internet infrastructure, and
most of it comes through these undersea cables. So as
we approach neptunes move back into pisces. In addition to

(26:50):
some of what I've already discussed, I think these things
like this Internet outage are become more recognized or more
easily recognized right because the confusion that resulted from the
outage of the Internet for just a few hours on

(27:13):
October twentieth is an example of how we are seeing
the dissolution of everything else around us, and how that
dissolution to fundamental structures will become potentially worse when we
have Saturn can join Neptune next February in areas. So

(27:40):
this also includes the dissolving of previously congressionally past pollution
prevention regulations, and here I'm talking about Neptune, which only
will increase warming of the seas from an environmental point
of view over the long term. As I noted on
an earlier podcast, what happens when the Internet goes down

not only for a few hours, but a few days,
a week, a few weeks or longer. Imagine that, if
you will and give some thought to Neptune when it
re enters warlike areas. We could actually make the same
case for the government's shutdown now, but we'll get to that.

But further, we can also ponder now during Neptune's retrograde
in Pisces, how the US is increasing continued tensions in
international waters by ordering its military to blow up small
vessels in the Caribbean and Pacific oceans that it suspects
of drug running, the operative word here being suspects, just

(28:44):
as ICE is rounding up people it suspects are here illegally.
Neither of these actions is based on due process, which
allows for proof or demands proof before such actions are taken.
According to CBS News yesterday, October twenty third, the headline reads,

(29:07):
Columbia calls for US to stop lethal boat strikes and
respect the norms of international law. The Colombian government has
asked the United States to stop attacking vessels in the
Pacific and the Caribbean as part of an operation that
Washington says is targeting drug smuggling. US Secretary of Defense
Pete Hegseth on Wednesday announced strikes on two alleged drug

(29:29):
running boats in the Pacific that left five people dead.
The first strike took place on Tuesday, with two people killed.
A defense official confirmed the vessel was in international waters
off Columbia. A second strike took place on Wednesday, according
to Hegseth, killing three more. The strikes bring the total
number of such US attacks to at least nine, with

(29:52):
thirty seven people dead, according to US figures. Columbia calls
on the US government to cease these attacks and urges
it to respect the norms dictated by international law, the
Foreign Ministry said in a statement Wednesday night. The government
of Colombia's leftist president Gustavo Petro, who has been embroiled

in a war of words for President Trump, quote rejects
the destruction by the United States of a vessel allegedly
related to drug trafficking in the Pacific Ocean. But it
says also that mister Trump and Petro exchanged angry threats
on Wednesday, which was yesterday. I'm sorry. Two days ago,
mister Trump branded Petro a thug and suggested he was

a drug trafficker, leading his country to ruin, prompting Petro
to val I will defend myself legally with American lawyers.
The US president also said military aid to Bogata had
been cut and warned Petro to watch it, while Secretary
of State Marco Rubio called the Colombian leader a lunatic.

(30:56):
All right, that sounds a lot like projection to me.
In any case, Let's go on on October twenty second,
which is just before these boat strikes happened, right, we're
talking about well, we're talking about the twenty first and
twenty second the sun entered Pluto ruled Scorpio, where it
will remain until it moves into Sagittarius on November twenty first.

(31:20):
And it's on October twenty fourth today that the waxing
square of the sun to Pluto, which was waxing into
its square by the time on October twenty first of
the Leebal new moon, it's this morning that it actually perfected.
And this aspect portends difficulty with quote persons in authority,

(31:44):
According to astrologer Rob Hand and Planets and transit quote.
Such persons, he explains, may give you problems just because
they are wielding and thereby abusing naked power. Hand also
notes that by being challenged by those in authority, quote
will be a source of strength in the future. You

(32:06):
think someone should hire an astrologer for Donald Trump and
Mike Johnson know between the Sun's October twenty second entrance
into Scorpio ruled by Pluto again, the planet of deep binding, trust,
joint resources, and other people's money, sex power and control
power being oftentimes related to coercion or manipulation. On October

twenty second, and by October twenty fourth this morning, it
perfected this square to Pluto and Aquarius. So we've already
learned as the square was waxing that quote. House Republicans
refer Obama CIA director John Brenan Brennan for criminal prosecution.
According to USA Today, House Judiciary Committee chair Representative Jim

Jordan said Brennan lied to Congress about the investigation into
whether Russia intervened in the twenty sixteen election to help
Trump end quote. Also, there was the arrest of a
previously pardoned and freed January sixth prisoner for making a

to testify in open hearings because many because of the
many mischaracterizations around his investigations that led to criminal charges
against Donald Trump in twenty twenty three for alleged mishandling
of classified records and actions related to the twenty twenty
election results. So we'll see how that one turns out.

But remember, Jupiter and Saturn both have to do with
the judicial system, and mercury is communication. Jupiter is the
law and the courts, and Saturn is the judge. But
next on October twenty seventh and twenty eighth, we have
Mars in scorpio trying to Jupiter in cancer, which normally

is considered a lucky aspect. However, the question becomes lucky
for whom again action Mars related to whether or not
congressional officials allow Smith to extend his testifying into the
public domain rather than remaining in secret. This remains to

forms a water trine to Neptune and Pisces, making empathy
a little bit easier for many of us, but also

that I was talking about before. So Mercury's entrance meanwhile
into Sagittarius also marks the beginning of the shift of

element over the next year, which is something I'll discuss
in greater detail as we get closer to November ninth.
But meanwhile, on October twenty ninth is also when we
have the first quarter monthly lunar square since the challenging

Jupiter and Pluto on October twenty first, and this is
the crisis in action period marked by the Aquarius moon
in square read tension with the Scorpio Sun. So if
the Aquarius moon represents the emotions moon of the people

Aquarius who are trying to be rational, logical, and objective
rather than solely ideologically driven, it will be in contrast
to the Scorpio Sun that wants change, possibly of the
kind that wants more individual power. And this is not
hard to imagine, especially if the US government shut down

people and Aquarius's groups of people, then the sun represents
the leader who keeps secrets, especially about material possessions, money,

Saturn retrograde and Pisces, which can bring some measure of
patience when doing hard work to the forefront. This is
known as more controlled Saturn energy Mars that leads to
greater concentration so that we can actually get the job done. However,

this is followed by Mercury and Sagittarius's opposition to Uranus
in Gemini October twenty ninth two, which portends the possibility
of a sudden announcement that either reverses previous ones or
U is a surprising new one. Also combined with the
fact that Mercury's and Sagittaris we may witness someone thinking, speaking,

or acting too quickly, then whatever it is, it's likely
to shock and surprise, and given that aspect impatience may
interfere with critical thinking skills. Given that this opposition occurs
from Mercury in the fourth house opposite transiting Uranus in
the tenth house of Donald Trump's chart, as transiting Mars

sits on his ic and forms a T square to
his natal Mars, which is on his leo ascendant and
transiting and an opposition to transiting Uranus. I would expect
some major announcement may come forth from his mouth. Whether
that will be of the insurrection act kind, I don't know.

But Neptune retrograde in his eighth house twenty nine Pisces
will both sextile transiting Uranus in his tenth meaning it's
an opportunity potentially related to power or greater power, particularly
around joint resources. And Neptune will quincunx his natal twenty

nine degree Leo is sndant, and the latter means an
adjustment as to how he or by extension, the nation
spends its money. So again I'm just musing here, but
let me also relate to you given some of the
topics that I've mentioned. And this was reported again by

Aaron Parnas of The Partners Perspective late last night, where
he says, tonight, something deeply alarming is unfolding. President Donald
Trump has openly suggested that he could quote just kill them,
referring to Venezuelan residence without seeking a declaration of war.
Remember I said before that that it's Congress who has

under the war powers actor the power to declare war.
At the same time, parness continues, the Pentagon's Press Corps,
the body responsible for providing accurate information about US military
actions in Venezuela, which I already mentioned last week, has
been basically thrown out of the Pentagon, right, all of

the major news organizations were thrown out except foran But
they've announced yesterday that now the Press Corps for the
Pentagon is led by two infamous conspiracy theorists, Alex Jones
and Mike Yes, the pillow Guy Lindell. And he continues

at a moment when misinformation already spreads faster than truth,
which is something we also need to be aware of.
With Mercury and Sagittarius, this convergence of violent rhetoric and
disse information power is a perfect storm. Again I'm reading
from the Parnas perspective. It is also a reminder of

why independent journalism is important. But he says, speaking about
the ongoing US military strikes in the Caribbean and the
potential expansion of the conflict into mainland Venezuela, Trump made
his stance unmistakably clear. Quote, I don't think we're necessarily
going to ask for a declaration of war. He said,

I think we're just going to kill people that are
bringing drugs into our country. We're going to kill them.
They're going to be like dead. So I mean again,
this is a guy with a Sagittarius moon conjunct his

represents someone who came in thinking they know every is
you know, this stuff is just it gets more and

the government during the shutdown and not receiving paychecks. So
therein is another problem that is going to increase the

tension as we head towards this first quarter Crisis in
Action Square, because clearly people are going to be affected
by this power struggle right between parties that began right
before the government shutdown October first and is part and

parcel of the theme of the Libre New Moon from
October twenty first. So we still have this ongoing struggle
to move away from chaos since that lunation had both
luminaries square I'm sorry, opposite aries and not aris opposite

chirn and eris in aries, as well as forming a
square to Jupiter opposite Pluto. And I think I read
last week to you what that Jupiter opposite Pluto is
usually about, which is someone taking power, expanding their power
at the expense of others. And you know, it's it's

sort of like a well, it's all about me. I
don't really think I need to think about you. Here's
one bright side that I have written down, which is

I wrote what's kind of interesting to me is that
while the Democrats have been racking their brains since Kamala
Harris's lost in twenty twenty four about how to win
back the Democrats and independence that they lost then, and
how it's being reported now that the GOP is struggling
to keep their elected positions, given that a Gallop poll

now has Trump at a sixty percent overall disapproval rating,
and at this point that tops the fifty eight percent
disapproval rating of President Joe Biden after his disastrous debate
performance last year during the election cycle. So again, as

we wax towards this first quarter monthly lunars square, which
is the Aquarius moon to the Scorpio sun. And bear
in mind at the United States, if you use the
Sibly natal chart has an Aquarius moon. That this is

again the people being intention with those in power, particularly
the one individual who leads the country. And so as
all of this is going on, we're seeing this disintegration,
this dissolution of the you know, all the things that

by saying that I would be on the lookout for
whether or not at this first quarter waxing square, we
are going to hear something when Mercury or before when
Mercury exact opposes Uranus, that shocks us. And that has

conjoin with Pluto on the twenty ninth at three twenty

kind of intense thing going on here, just like we

understand is not particularly It's not particularly optimistic, is it.

really not, you know, an optimistic thing. And I do

the US Pluto return, things are disintegrating, things are being annihilated.
The people's house is being wrecked, you know. So that's

of what's going on internally, and we have to be

I think a lot of us are fearful who actually

we can temper that by understanding that things have to

It hasn't been a pleasant time at least since January, right,
but it started before that and it's now just starting
to manifest in everybody's lives. So we have to just
sort of watch the stars, see how they manifest, Look

and do what we can to, you know, if not
get out and protest and do things physically. If we're
physically okay, but we pray, we pray, we meditate, we think,
