Hello everyone, and welcome to Karmic Evolutions astrologically speaking podcast.
I'm your host, Sherry Horne Hassan of Karmic Evolution Astrology,
and I'm coming to you on October thirty first, from
Karmic Evolution dot com or any of your favorite podcast stations.
Happy Halloween, y'all. But before I get into this week's
(01:25):
astro news you can use on this particular day, here's
my usual quick reminder that this particular podcast aims to
bring you the truth about astrology and your soul's karmic evolution,
and that a new show or a new podcast will
continue to drop every Friday at eleven am Pacific time
(01:45):
and two pm Eastern time on most major podcast platforms.
Now that won't affect you today the thirty first, but
bear in mind we're moving the clocks back on Saturday
night Sunday mornings, so next week it'll be an hour earlier.
In any case, I want to reiterate primarily my motto
(02:11):
or my manta, as it pertains to my perspective about
the importance of gaining astrological insight into our lives and
the world around us. And that is as follows, the
universe is benign. It has no vested interest in making
any of us suffer. Rather, it provides us with opportunities
(02:31):
every moment of every day to grow in consciousness. It's
simply up to each of us to recognize those moments,
and when we don't, the universe doesn't just give up.
And what I want to say too, is that when
I say that the universe is benign, when we look
at that from an astrological perspective, which is that the
(02:55):
energies of the planets as above affect those of us
here on Earth so below right, that they have archetypal
meanings that run what I consider to be like one
hundred and eighty degree spectrum. So there's the high side. Mars,
for example, is motivation. It's ambition, it's assertion, it's our
(03:20):
ability to speak up for ourselves. It's our ability. Given
the the fact that the zodiac's natural wheels starts at
zero areas on the ascendant that we had the motivation
and enough ability energy to assert ourselves to be born,
to come out of the womb. So that's the high side, right,
(03:43):
but the lower side, when you pass the middle of
that spectrum, becomes over assertion becomes anger, and you can result.
Speaker 4 (03:55):
In things like violence.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
So we can interpret any of those and which part
of each archetypal energy based on the planet and or
the signs therein or the signs of your angles or
your nodes, will determine based on conversation and some analysis
how these which end of the spectrum may have manifested
(04:22):
for you in particular. So this is why I continue
to offer my discounted seventy five minute Karmic Evolution Natal
Insight reading, and that is for podcast listeners only for
the price of one hundred and twenty five dollars.
Speaker 4 (04:41):
I believe that this benefits.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
Those most who a have questions like why am I here?
What is my soul's purpose, what is my mission that
I'm here to fulfill before I leave this incarnation? And
what if I don't achieve certain things will I come
back again? Simply have to deal with Then it also
(05:04):
helps people to see where the origin of issues that
plague them the most or worry them or vex them
the most, whether it's relationships, whether it's money, whether it's career,
whether it's health or anything else, that we can identify
those origins, and sometimes that serves as a revelation when
(05:31):
it's explained astrologically for many people, and many of my
clients who have had light bulb aha moments which then
have led them to be able to make certain changes
or become well, I should say, led them to become
more conscious, which then led them to make certain changes
in their lives and their mindset and their perspectives for
(05:53):
the better. So if you're an astrology enthusiast or perhaps
a studentudent looking to move from chaos to clarity about
any of these areas of interest in your life, or
again you simply want to learn about your soul's true
mission in this lifetime, then this reading is for you.
(06:14):
And like I said, consciousness or like I say, I've
said it in past podcasts has never been so easy
or so affordable.
Speaker 4 (06:24):
So if you're.
Speaker 2 (06:24):
Interested in booking the Karmic Evolution Natal Insight reading for
only one hundred and twenty five dollars, please contact me
at Sherry s h e Er I at Karmaicevolution dot com,
and I'd be happy to answer any questions or to
book a time slot for you, all right. So I'd
(06:45):
also like to remind everyone about something I mentioned last week,
which is my friend astrologer Ronnie Dryer's upcoming annual twenty
twenty six Sensitive Degrees webinar, which she has scheduled for Sunday,
December fourteenth, which is going to run from eleven am
to five.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
Pm Eastern Time.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
And I don't think you can get more thorough than
in a six hour time slot, so you'll see it's
well worth the money. But this webinar will focus on
what's in store for twenty twenty six, which includes planetary stations,
the four eclipses that will occur in twenty twenty six,
ingresses of planets, aspects between planets, and much more. And
(07:29):
Ronnie says this year meaning twenty twenty six, should be
very intense, both continuing many of the ingresses and aspects
that began in twenty twenty five, some of which retrograded
and will now go direct for a final time, the
wild Ride that began in twenty twenty five, plus new
events could be life changing, Ronnie says, So if you're
(07:53):
interested in signing up for this webinar, and I think
she has an early she has an early bird special,
so check it out now. I don't remember, but you
can go to her on Facebook and ask her. I
(08:13):
know that if you go to her Ronnie Dreyer dot com,
you have to go there and use the https Ronnie
Dryer dot com slash product slash twenty twenty six hyphen
sensitive hyphen degrees hyphen webinar slash, so that'll give you
all the information, but you can.
Speaker 4 (08:35):
Contact her directly. Also. I believe she's on Instagram too.
Speaker 2 (08:40):
All right, so let's get into this week's astro news
you can use, and first look back a little before
we move forward into what may prove to be an
extremely important election next week on November fourth in America,
as we wax toward the November fifth, thirteen degree in
twenty three minute Taurus full moon, which has the Taurist
(09:01):
moon opposite the thirteen degree twenty three minute Scorpio sun.
Speaker 4 (09:07):
And that.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
In case I forget to repeat this later on, let
me just say that that full moon occurs at five
nineteen am Pacific time, on Wednesday, November fifth, and at
eight nineteen am Eastern Time.
Speaker 4 (09:26):
On the same day.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
So I want to talk about the fact that even
though November fourth is neither a presidential election nor a
midterm one, it's still important in terms of illustrating which
way the political wins are blowing right now. In turn,
this may prove a strong indication of which way they
will blow during the mid term elections next year, which
(09:52):
are on November third, twenty twenty six. However, before we
get into that in the upcoming November fifth tourists full
Moon again, first look back at the deeper meaning of
the Libra new moon and this cycle, which began at
twenty eight degrees in twenty two minutes of Libra on
October twenty first, because that is the monthly lunar cycle
(10:16):
that we're still currently operating under. And let's remember this
monthly lunar cycle began with a call to plant seeds
to better partner with ourselves so that we might be
more comfortably open to partnering with others, and to achieve
that we needed to be open to discussion, negotiation, and
(10:38):
compromise with those we consider our partners, be they significant others,
family members, colleagues, neighbors, and others in our wider community
or whomever, even those with whom we disagree, right because
being able to discuss calmly and to lay out your
(11:00):
thoughts and then listen to another person's thoughts that can
lead to a negotiation, which can ultimately lead to a
compromise that at least satisfies both parties enough to keep
the peace. However, one glance at that liber new moon's
astrological makeup told us this was not going to be easy.
And what we witnessed. What we witnessed then as both
(11:23):
luminaries opposed Chirn and arison aires and form squares to
Jupiter and Cancer as it waxed toward an out of
sign opposition to Pluto and Aquarius, was that we were
then twenty one days into a stalemate of non compromise
between two political major political parties here in the American
(11:46):
Congress that shut down the government on April first, they
disagreed overfunding how to fund the government now? Since the
sun then moved into Pluto ruled Scorpio by October two,
twenty second and wax towards its square to Pluto and
Aquarius on October twenty fourth. This energy exemplified the need
(12:07):
to empower ourselves. And that's because this aspect can be
an indication that there are those in power in this case,
because the Sun, at least in mundane astrology, is usually
viewed as the ruler or the leader or are working
to disempower us through coercive means. That's because again the
(12:29):
Sun is in Pluto ruled scorpio and wax and squaring,
the ruler of the sign is going through which is
known to be manipulative and coercive because it's sometimes obsessed
with getting its way, and that such coercive means, combined
(12:50):
with the lack of the ability to find common ground
that leads partners to a negotiated compromise, have continued until today.
Plus both luminaries oppositions to Chyron and Eras at the
liber New Moon. Poortended also that such coercive tactics would
result in chaos and wounding. Now, given that come tomorrow,
(13:13):
November one, forty two million Americans, including the disabled, seniors,
and children, I believe the number of children I mentioned
last week is approximately twelve million, will be deprived of
their monthly supplemental nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP federal payments
(13:34):
to pay for food. And we can see now how
the waxing portion of this liber new moon's energies might
well come to a head by next week's election on
November fourth, the day before the tourist full moon perfects.
But of course, you know the election results often take time.
This is a nationwide election in fifty different states, so
(13:56):
you know, with mail in ballots and all that, we
may well receive the final results in different places days
after the Torus full moon. But first, as we lead
up to the election next week, we've got tomorrow's Venus
and Libra opposing chirn and Erisnaris, which occurs late on
(14:17):
November one and early on November two, depending on your
time zone. And Venus will also square Jupiter in cancer
on November two, creating a T square between all of them,
meaning Venus, which is the ruler of both earthy Taurus
and archetype representing our values and our resources, and airy Libra,
(14:41):
related to relationships, peace, harmony, and balance, most of it
through what I've already discussed, discussion, negotiation, and compromise, will
square both Jupiter as he squares Chiron and eris now
Venus is square to Jupiter, indicates what I call how
much is too much?
Speaker 4 (15:01):
Question?
Speaker 2 (15:02):
And that's because both of these planets are known as benefits. Traditionally, however,
we might ask ourselves now, how much is too much? Now?
Hold that thought because it's pretty obvious now, especially as
Jupiter is waxing toward an out of sign opposition to
Pluto and Aquarius, as I just mentioned. But this opposition
(15:24):
won't actually perfect in the near term because Jupiter will
station retrograde at twenty five degrees and nine minutes of
cancer on November eleventh, while Pluto continues to move direct
in Aquarius. Now, so that opposition is not going to
happen until after next summer when Jupiter moves into Leo.
(15:46):
But the fact that she's approaching is still the energy
is still there.
Speaker 4 (15:50):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (15:51):
So what it represents, though, Jupiter opposite Pluto, is that
there are those who believe they're not only above the law,
but that they deserve monetary compensation for any previous legal
charges against them. Okay, So clearly you know now I'm
speaking about Donald Trump, who's demanding that his own Department.
Speaker 4 (16:11):
Of Justice Jupiter equals legal.
Speaker 2 (16:14):
Right the law pay him two hundred and thirty million dollars.
Venus equals money to compensate for Special Prosecutor Jack Smith's
investigation of Trump's role in the January sixth United States
capital attack and Trump's mishandling of government records, including classified documents. Now,
(16:35):
given that Trump's demand would be paid for out of
taxpayer dollars, that's a bit of a hubristic Jupiter again,
sense of an exaggerated need Jupiter again to be compensated
Venus in a way no one before him ever has.
(16:55):
In other words, no one who's been investigated by the
Department of Justice in the past or a special prosecutor
has ever demanded and received reimbursement from the government, whether
they were indicted, tried and convicted.
Speaker 1 (17:12):
Or not.
Speaker 2 (17:14):
So Meanwhile, the Labor New Moon's aspects from October twenty
first clearly indicated that we've been waxing toward, seeing, experiencing,
and feeling the inability of partners to compromise and negotiate
their differences into an agreeable compromise, and how that has
(17:34):
been wounding us because of the uncertainty and chaos it's
bringing to so many American lives.
Speaker 4 (17:40):
Right now.
Speaker 2 (17:42):
So at this point, the House of Representatives has been
out of session since its last session ended on September
fifteenth of this year, and the House has not been
in session for the majority of the time since then,
despite the ongoing government shutdown and other legislative challenges. However,
(18:03):
as of yesterday, October thirtieth, the next meeting is scheduled
for today, October thirty first, at one pm, which is
just an hour before this podcast airs. So I'm not
going to know what happens then. But according to Punchball
News yesterday, quote today is October thirtieth, that means it's
(18:25):
been a month since Fiscal Year twenty twenty five ended
and federal agencies closed. This will become the longest government
shut down in American history by the end of next week.
Barring some miracle, the Senate is heading home this afternoon
without doing anything to reopen the government. There's been absolutely
(18:46):
no movement for weeks now. Every potential off ramp has
been closed, with both Republicans and Democrats digging in even
deeper now. After SNAP end quote after SNAP benefits end
tomorrow November first, Venus and liber Will Quincunk's Saturn retrograde
in Pisces, indicating that some kind of adjustment is necessary
(19:11):
to put us back on a stronger footing when it
comes to our committed relationships. In other words, are we
committed or not? And if so, can we adjust our
stance enough to make a compromise feasible? I mean, who knows.
Perhaps there'll be a last minute compromise made of today's
house meeting that saves the day, but of course that
(19:32):
remains to be seen. On the other hand, this opposition
may well also indicate something potentially more nefarious, with Saturn
and Neptune both currently retrograde in Pisces since their entrance
into Mars world areas earlier this year, we continue to
see the dissolution of foundational structures, walls and boundaries here
(19:56):
in the US government by the current Trump administration. So meanwhile,
to wax now toward the exact Mars Urinus opposition and then
the tourists full moon between November fourth and fifth, respectively,
we learned on October thirtieth as Mercury in Sagittarius waxed
(20:18):
into its exact opposition to Uranus and Gemini on October
twenty ninth, and then sextiled Pluto on October thirtieth that
the Pentagon announced this. According to the Hill publication, quote,
the National Guard is building a quick reaction force of
(20:38):
some twenty three thousand, five hundred troops trained in crowd
control and civil disturbance that can be ready to deploy
to US city cities by early next year, according to
a leaked memo reported by multiple outlets Wednesday, October twenty ninth,
and the piece goes on quote the October eighth memo,
(21:01):
signed by National Guard Bureau Director of Operations, orders the
Guard from nearly every US state, Puerto Rico and Guam
to train five hundred service members. States with smaller populations,
such as Delaware will have two hundred and fifty troops
in their forces, while Alaska will have three hundred and
(21:22):
fifty and Guam will have one hundred, according to Task
and Purpose, a publication geared towards the US military community.
Speaker 4 (21:32):
So I quoted you.
Speaker 2 (21:34):
From the Hill publication, which was quoting Task and Purpose.
So let's remember now that on October eighth, when this
memo apparently was written or distributed, it wasn't revealed until
the twenty ninth, but it was written and ordered on
the eighth that we were waxing towards an exact chiron
(21:56):
Eris conjunction in areas which perfected on October ninth, and
which indicated either wounding that causes chaos or chaos that
results in wounding take your pic, and that this was
in the ethers and on the horizon. What's obvious, however,
is that this pair was also opposed by both luminaries
(22:18):
in Libra at the liber new moon October twenty first, which,
as I've already mentioned, squared Jupiter and Pluto forming a cross.
So as we reach the apex of this monthly lunar
cycle next week, it's a push comes to shove moment
at least here in America.
Speaker 4 (22:37):
Soon.
Speaker 2 (22:37):
Not only immigrants who look or speak differently from typical
Americans read usually meaning non white, but local protesters of
any disposition who are against the already ongoing invasion of
mostly blue state cities by national guards and federal troops
may well be in danger as well. Mars Strins Neptune
(23:01):
retrograde in Pisces that day too, which may make some
of us check out, but make others within the collective
more sensitive, sympathetic compassionate and EmPATH empathetic to those who
need help right now or those that we know or
feel will need some kind of protection. So by early
(23:23):
morning election day, November fourth, and I'm going to give
you a here, only Eastern times, Mars enters Sagittarius at
eight oh one am Eastern Time, the moon enters Taurus
at eleven sixteen am Eastern time, and then quincunxes Mars
(23:44):
at eleven twenty five am. Finally, Mars then opposes Uranus
exact at twelve thirty pm. So when I look at that,
I goo boy, that's a lot of change over the
course of only about four and a half hours from
eighth one am to twelve thirty pm Eastern time. But
there's more following that. At one thirty pm, the Taurus
(24:07):
moons squares Pluto and Aquarius exact. So here's my take
on the Mars Uranus opposition. And remember again it's Mars,
which is newly entered into Sagittarius opposite Uranus, which is
retrograde currently in Gemini. But here's my take on this,
which comes from what's not really my take, I'm just
sharing it with you. It's from my favorite astrologer Rob
(24:30):
Hand from his book My Favorite Book of his Planets
and Transit.
Speaker 4 (24:35):
Quote.
Speaker 2 (24:36):
Like most oppositions, this one has two sides, he writes.
Most commonly, it makes you strike out rashly against people
who seem to have held you back in some way,
or who have angered you so consistently in the past.
Or you may suddenly act impulsively to escape duties and
(24:56):
obligations that circumstances have imposed upon you. Most frequently, he continues,
this transit signifies the explosive release of tension through sudden
anger against someone, especially persons close to you. These people
will make you feel restless and irritable, and you will
(25:17):
blow up at them easily. Expect to have feelings of
great impatience end quote. On the other hand, this transit
can represent a time when your efforts to liberate yourself
from unnecessary and inhibiting restrictions start to succeed, Hans says, quote,
now you can really feel that you are becoming free
(25:40):
of these bonds, but you can expect considerable resistance from others,
and it will not be easy. He core cautions. Now,
I'm sorry, but for whatever reason, the first part of
his description makes me think of Thanksgiving dinner with family
and relatives who or you know, friends even who are
MAGA believers or who simply you know, they're simply Trump supporters,
(26:02):
and in terms of experiencing what hand says quote anger
against someone, especially those close to you.
Speaker 4 (26:09):
I mean, that's what.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
Came into my mind, and I'm going to rationalize that
thought by saying that conversations with or simply reading or
hearing news from those of the opposite political persuasion, if
you're more democratically inclined before this election, may spur some
of us or many of us to remember these arguments
and the discomfort around such family occasions, especially since we're
(26:33):
now right now less than a month away from it
happening again. Or we may you know, feel the grief
of not having having exed out some of these people
and no longer you know, inviting them.
Speaker 4 (26:46):
I mean, the.
Speaker 2 (26:46):
Cliche is, you know Uncle Ed or whatever, right, or
Uncle Tommy, who you know is the one who's you know,
the most conservative, arguing that they're at the over the turkey,
you know, and that these conversations and arguments may lurk
in the forefront of our minds to spark votes for
(27:08):
Democratic principles, even if one is not thoroughly thrilled with
the more liberal candidate, because they know the other side
is a vote against autocratic candidates. Now, in addition, I'm
not going to make any specific predictions. I'll just say
that if seven million people who peacefully protested across this
(27:28):
country on No King's Day on October eighteenth, vote, whether
they do so by mail in ballots, early voting, or
on the day of, are going to be cognizant of
the fact that their government has been wounded by a
lack of partisanship this past year. I mean, that's to
put it mildly right, and that as a result, the
(27:48):
government is now literally wounding them or their family members,
or their friends, or their communities, as well as people
they don't even know, but for whom they are capable
of empathy. Meanwhile, the tourist moons fixed square to Pluto
at aquarius that perfects on election day quote encourages compulsive behavior.
(28:11):
According to hann quote, your emotions acquire so much momentum
that is difficult not to give in to sudden urges
and impulses that may not be good for you in
the long run, particularly if you've been trying to suppress
your feelings. But this transit, he says, quote, is least
difficult if you deal with your feelings honestly and do
(28:34):
not try to hide them for yourself. Well, given that
those who protested it no King's Day, those who attempt
to warn their family members, friends and neighbors that ice
is in the vicinity, those who will lose their snap
benefits tomorrow, those who and veterans' benefits, and so much more.
(28:55):
You know, those who don't want more National Guard troops
their communities, et cetera, will be more in the mood
to express their feelings at the polls honestly, which means
they'll be less volatile passionate perhaps, but not in a
negative way. And that in turn means, at least for
(29:15):
those showing up at the polls on that day, that
they may express their concern with their emotional insecurity about
their physical bodies and their material resources. Why, because the
moon's going to be an earthy physical taurus from one
PM or what did I say? I forget if it
goes in at noon, hold on, I'll tell you. I know.
(29:36):
It perfects at one It perfects at one thirty six
Eastern square to Pluto, but it enters Taurus at eleven
sixteen am, So I'm not sure when poles open. I
think it's different times in different states, and if it's
as early as seven am, but we've got early voting
going on and all that too.
Speaker 4 (29:56):
While this is waxing, right.
Speaker 2 (29:58):
So for the at least the I mean, polls stay
open till in some places nine pm in the eastern coast,
so you know, from eleven fifteen till nine pm that's
the major portion of the day, right. So anyway back
to the Taurus moon, because as I was saying, you know,
(30:24):
Taurus also likes its creature comforts. It doesn't like being
deprived of paychecks that allow us to buy our favorite foods,
be they healthy meals or unhealthy snacks. Mars entering Sagittarius
says we may be motivated by our philosophical beliefs, which
for some may lay with immigrants who deserve due process
(30:46):
under the law. Sagittarius, after all, is ruled by Jupiter,
which represents foreign travel, which under our current political climate
I often call immigration and the law. Putter's philosophical beliefs
also extend to religion and those who may believe the
words of the Bible, which advocates the following. In Exodus, quote,
(31:10):
do not mistreat or oppress a foreigner, for you were
foreigners in Egypt. And in Deuteronomy ten eighteen quote, he
defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and
loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing.
And in Deuteronomy twenty four fourteen, quote, do not take
(31:31):
advantage of a hired worker who is poor and needy,
whether that worker is a fellow Israelite or a foreigner
residing in one of your towns. Now, when I say
things like the universe is benign right and has no
vested interest really in any specific outcome, its interest is
(31:55):
in I would have to say, having been an astrologer
for twenty five years now, it's in evolution based on
the on the major planets, where you know, we need
to evolve in order to survive the threat of extinction.
(32:16):
So what I want to say too is that with
this mars Urinus opposition, especially from Sagittaris to.
Speaker 4 (32:25):
Gemini, we.
Speaker 2 (32:29):
Remember that the manstra with Urinus is always to expect
the unexpected, and that means if we expect things to
go one way, a monkey wrench may get thrown into
the mix and the outcome could be the opposite. So
that means we don't know exactly what to expect, right,
(32:49):
because things may change at the very last minute. But
the reason I mentioned is the universe's benign stuff is
because we might assume that those who are you know, voting,
(33:09):
regardless of which way they were going to vote originally,
might suddenly change their mind. Right. So, whether that's why
you're filling out your absentee ballot and you're you know,
penciling in the little ovals, or whether you're engaging in
early voting at the actual polls or the day of
(33:32):
So Mars and Sagittarius, as I've said, can be motivated
by one's political and or religious philosophy. And while this
combo can be lucky, it can also be reckless.
Speaker 4 (33:42):
Because it may move too fast.
Speaker 2 (33:44):
So the implication for that, given that Mars move into
Sagittarius is it that morning on November fourth, is that
one may again suddenly change one's mind. And meanwhile, Uranus,
which is still retrograde. But as I said, still in
murder rule Gemini see the correspondence there. No I'm Sorry,
(34:05):
that was when I was talking about mercury. Forget that. Okay,
I'm ad libbing and I screwed up. Yeah, the uranus
is still retrograde, but still in mercury rule Gemini before
it re enters Venus ruled tourists on November seventh. They
just indicate a sudden change in perspective. So might a
(34:27):
religious person suddenly begin to realize that voting for seizing
anyone who looks foreign or has a Spanish accent, throwing
them into detention and leaving them there without charging them
with a crime or allowing them to call a lawyer
known as due process is the quote unquote righteous thing
to do. Or might a Republican or independent who's not
(34:50):
on board with the right wing direction in which this
nation has been moving walk into the voting poll and
suddenly choose different candidates than those for who they originally
plan to vote. Well, anything's possible. I mean, I think
that's more probable. And again I'm not making a prediction,
(35:12):
but logic says to me that all those seven million people,
plus those of us who weren't able to go and
march with them, but agreed with them throughout this country
and who are capable of voting by whatever means, are
going to feel strongly about our vote, whereas some of
(35:35):
the other people, the Republicans who are mainstream centrist and
who are seeing what's going on around them, and as
well as those who are religious or truly you know religious,
in the true meaning of that is that they may
have a sudden change of heart. Anyway, we know that
(35:59):
this is going to occur as we lead up to
the Taurist full moon on November fifth, and is then
as some votes will undoubtedly continue to be counted across
the States. As I said that the thirteen degree twenty
three minute Taurus moon will exact oppose the thirteen degree
twenty three minute Scorpio sun on November fifth at five
(36:20):
nineteen am Pacific in eight nineteen a m. Eastern time,
and that alone tells us that the moon, indicative of
the people's emotions is craving stability. One of the keywords
that I learned for Taurus energy when I was first
starting to study is the word serenity. Taurus, particularly in
(36:47):
the emotional moon seeks calm, and as I always mention,
a full moon is excuse me, always going to be
reflecting the light of the sun back onto itself, highlighting
the sun's archetypal shadow side. That's the side of the
one hundred and eighty degree archetypal spectrum I was talking about, right,
(37:10):
because once you pass the middle, you start to get
into the shadow side. And given current circumstances, if we
think of the Sun as the ruler, the leader, the president,
the king, and it's in scorpio and the Taurus moon
is opposing in that she's asking the leader to please
stop changing so much because it's not conducive to the
(37:32):
people's ability to feel stable, secure, calm, and serene. Taurus
likes to know what's coming tomorrow and doesn't like surprises.
So Venus's Taurus, which rules the natural second house and
the natural chart, is always about relationships, but also about
physical and material resources as noted, and Venus is representative
(37:57):
of or Venus's Taurus is represented the physical body, which
requires food and water to survive. I mean, in a sense,
dying is becoming extinct, right.
Speaker 4 (38:09):
I mean those of us.
Speaker 2 (38:10):
Who are evolutionary astrologers or who just simply believe in reincarnation,
you know, we have a slightly different take on that.
But the physical body is going to become extinct no
matter how you look at it, and when too much
evolution is going on around the Taurus archetype, it threatens
these things. So again, if forty two billion people have
(38:34):
lost SNAP benefits in fifty states, and twenty million others
will have been informed of tremendous rate hikes in their
healthcare insurance costs by November first, which will be effective
the latter. The benefits will be effective immediately. There's no
money going out when it normally goes down on November first,
but the ACA rate hikes the subsidies for health care
(38:57):
insurance under the Affordable Care Act will become effective in
twenty twenty six. But people are getting letters now and
definitely by the beginning of November, and so it may
be highly unlikely that most voters feel confident that the
amount of change occurring now is going to benefit them
in the long term, and that in turn, again may
(39:22):
account for a Mar's urinus sudden about face and how
they ordinarily might have voted in the past. Party loyalties
may suddenly vanish, for example, when you're not getting a
paycheck because those in power have denied you one and
without that paycheck, you now have to limit your expenditures
to necessities only like food, utilities, and gas. On the
(39:46):
other hand, this opposition may well also indicate something potentially
more nefarious, with Saturn and Neptune both currently retrograde in
Pisces since their entrance into Mark's ruled. I think I
said this already, so forgive me. Yeah, I did hold on. Oh,
(40:07):
but what I wanted to say is that also this
past week, which I think may concern some folks at
the ballot box, is that this was reported in the
New York Times on October twenty ninth, FED cuts rates
(40:29):
over concerns about a week job market. The Federal Reserve
lowered interest rates by a quarter point for the second
time this year, despite officials having only a partial view
of how the economy is faring because of the government shutdown.
Speaker 4 (40:43):
End quote and.
Speaker 2 (40:44):
This is from punch Bowl News, also October twenty ninth.
Speaker 4 (40:48):
Quote.
Speaker 2 (40:49):
FED cuts interest rates another quarter point. But according to
punch Bowl News, it's flying blind all months long.
Speaker 4 (40:58):
They said.
Speaker 2 (40:59):
This is me quoting Punchbowl News. The Federal Reserve has
been forced to contend with an incomplete data picture. The
last US employment report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics
covered August. September's report has been delayed indefinitely and October's
may never exist. Economists have been sifting through private sector
(41:20):
job reports since, which have shown a muddier picture, and
this piece goes on the angle. Democrats have wasted no
time this month attacking the Trump administration for this state
of affairs. Thanks to Donald Trump's refusal to release the
job numbers, the Fed is now going to make interest
rates like an aeroplane trying to land with only one wing.
(41:43):
Senator Elizabeth Warren from Massachusetts, the Democrat from Massachusetts, has
said quote Yet, consumer's overall impression of the economy may
be waning. According to Punchbowl News, the Conference Board's consumer
sentiments survey hit US six month low this week week
and the word layoffs is very much in the news
this month, with major employers like Amazon, which cut fourteen
(42:08):
or announced a fourteen thousand employee cut, Ups announced a
forty eight thousand employee cut, Target eighteen hundred cut, Nesle's
sixteen thousand cut, Novo Nordisk nine thousand cut, and Microsoft
six thousand cut all announcing significant restructurings. End quote now
(42:32):
I gathered that data two days before I put this,
before I'm recording this, or a day or two, and
there's since been more. Okay, And that's not including obviously,
the federal civil servants civil government employees, who I think
from what I read, there's two million of them, and
I think one hundred and seventy five thousand have thus
far been either furloughed or laid off, and some of
(43:01):
them I'm not sure if if that total includes the
civil servants who will have to work without pay, but
it's still a pretty good percentage. And according to Reuters,
Jerome Powell, the head of the Federal Reserve quote his
comments show the developing dilemma for the FED as a
(43:24):
budget dispute between the Trump administration and Democrats in Congress
extends into a second month, with the government unable to
carry out surveys and produce reports that are key to
central banker's policy decisions, in this case, possibly delaying rate
cuts that President Trump himself wants. Now, if you ask me,
(43:44):
could it affect And this is a quote by Jerome Powell,
the Democrat the December meeting. I'm not saying it's going
to but yeah, you could imagine that you know, what
do you do if you're driving in the fog? Use
slowed down? So, in other words, many in the government
and consumers have had businesses have expected that the FED
(44:08):
would lower the rates, which it did this week on Wednesday,
at least a quarter point and possibly a half. But
the FED lowered their rates a quarter point, then they
expect that they would do the same, if not more,
in December. But this quote by Jerome Powell is saying
that I'm flying blind, and how in the world can
(44:28):
we decide now what we're going to do in December.
I read somewhere that said economists had put a ninety
percent bet or chance of their doing another rate decline
in December, and that went down to like sixty nine percent.
Now anyway, it's worth remembering that members of Congress are
(44:51):
all feeling the economy in different way ways. Some states
and municipalities, and this is I think also from what
do you call it punchball news, some states and municipalities
are experiencing micro recessions. Moody's Analytics estimates just under two
dozen states are in or close to a recession, and
(45:14):
it's the state's closest to the nation's capital that have
been some of the hardest hit. In Virginia, it's bad.
The GDP has gone from six point two percent that's
the gross domestic product from the state, to one point
seven percent in the year before Trump to this year.
(45:34):
Senator Tim Kaine, the Democratic senator from Virginia, said, we're
seeing higher prices, fewer jobs, and slower growth.
Speaker 4 (45:44):
Now.
Speaker 2 (45:44):
When we put the November fifth transits at the tourists
new Moon around the US SIBLY chart's July fourth Natal chart,
we see that the transiting Sun, which I've already said
a few times is going to be in Scorpio at
thirteen degrees in twenty three minutes, is training the US
(46:05):
natal seventh House of Partnership Son at thirteen degrees and
nineteen minutes of cancer from the eleventh House. So the
transiting Sun in Scorpio at this tourist full moon will
be in the eleventh House of the Legislature as we
lead into this election, and it's going to make an
(46:30):
easy aspect to the cancer natal cancer Sun in the
US chart. Further, we see there's a T square forming
as transiting Jupiter's in the eighth House in the US
chart of Joint Resources and other people's money, and twenty
five degrees in five minutes of cancer in opposition to
(46:52):
the natal us second House of Resources and Work. It's
opposing the twenty seven degree thirty three minute Pluto in Capricorn,
and that they both square transiting Chirn and Eras in
the fourth House of Home, family, Roots, Tradition, and Security
(47:14):
at twenty four areas on November fifth. So basically the
transiting Jupiter in the eighth squaring transcending Cairn in the
fourth that alone tells us there's tension between the legal
use of taxpayers' monies for the health, well being and
protection of people and their families which make them feel secure.
(47:37):
But transiting jupiters also triggering the Natal square of the
US Mercury at twenty I'm sorry, it's not the square.
It's the opposition of the US Mercury at twenty four
to eleven cancer in the eighth House, which opposes that
natal Pluto and Capricorn at twenty seven in the second House.
And as I've noted before, Mercury opposite Pluto is all
(48:00):
an aspect indicating obsession. Now, obsession is great if you
have a job where you have to do really intensive research,
you know, and there are plenty of those right in
the science, technology, legal fields, you.
Speaker 4 (48:13):
Know, academia or whatever.
Speaker 2 (48:15):
But in this case, I think in the US, it
does seem that obsession about capitalism fits that bill, right,
especially since times of political disunity there's usually one party
claiming that the other is anything but capitalistic. When they
call those they don't like communists, socialists, Marxists or whatever.
(48:39):
I mean, the insult is meant to imply that we
don't like anyone but capitalists here in America? Right? But
has obsession with capitalism gone too far to create an
even wider disparity between the rich and the poor, as
current changes in government have maneuvered some in the middle
class towards more poverty or you know, more towards the
poverty line, as those already rich, you know, are being
(49:04):
made richer.
Speaker 1 (49:06):
Now.
Speaker 2 (49:07):
Chiron squaring both the Natal Mercury Pluto opposition in the
US chart from the Fourth House, and that's Natal Chiron
there in areas while transiting Jupiter triggers that Natal opposition,
but also squares Chiron indicates that this is this kind
(49:27):
of wound is being triggered and is growing now. So
in terms of this election, it may be decided by
those who feel most wounded, those who's loved one or
they themselves are losing previously assumed rights like due process,
or those who believed, also a Jupiter thing that their
(49:50):
nation would always provide for their security, be that physically
in terms of their safety and health, and their access
in material terms to being able to afford what they
need for their own health and well being. And then
some now Mars will sextel Pluto on November sixth, which
may provide an opportunity for those in power, though which
(50:13):
way that will swing remains to be seen. Opportunity for
those to try to gain more power in terms of
disempowering others, or opportunities by those who are or feel
disempowered to get an opportunity to empower themselves. Okay, that
will be waxing at the time of the November fourth election.
(50:35):
Venus also enters scorpio on November sixth, which can indicate
any number of things, the first being that power lies
in honesty between partners, but it might also mean relationships
becoming more manipulative. Again, the former is the high manifestation
of this energy, and the latter is the shadow side.
(50:56):
So while Venus then Quincunx's Uranus retrograd in Gemini, there
may be a sudden, surprising or shocking adjustment made that
involves partnerships. May this be through the voting results, sure.
Speaker 4 (51:11):
Why not?
Speaker 2 (51:11):
But which way it will swing remains to be seen.
Maybe it's going to be, you know, the impass in
Congress coming to an end related to money. Right It's
being said that there are some Republicans who are very
concerned about the rate hikes to the subsidies to health
and people's health insurance, and so they may be starting
(51:35):
to see some change in votes there now. By November seventh,
Venus and Scorpio squares Pluto and Aquarius, and again will
likely have tension between two fixed viewpoints. Will those in
power try to manipulate groups of people? Will groups of
people resist such manipulation, especially if it has to do
(51:55):
with money, especially if it has to do with their money,
meaning taxpayers money. One thing's for sure, which is that
we'll soon see how this manifests. And we are going
to have Mercury stationing retrograde in Sagittarius on November ninth,
(52:17):
and since Mercury entered Sagittarius on October twenty ninth. We're
hearing more about these legal cases. There are just too
many to even report on it at this point because
which I used to like to do. But you know,
there's a there's a ruling by a federal judge, then
it goes to the district court's federal district panel of
(52:39):
three and they stay that ruling. Then it goes to
the end bank, you know, district federal district of all
the nine judges or whatever, and then it you know,
it's like this is going on every day. It changes,
so it's hard to know, but we will be hearing more,
especially as there are more legal cases Sagittarius reviewed during
(53:00):
Mercury retrograde, which lasts until November twenty ninth, at which
point it will have retrograded from November ninth at six
degrees fifty two minutes of sagittarius back to twenty degrees
forty two minutes of scorpio before it re enters sagittarius
(53:21):
again later on. So the thing is that you know,
we're going to be reviewing all of that during mercury retrograde,
and I will be more than happy to expound more
about this Mercury station retrograde on next week's show on
November seventh. So the only other thing I want to say,
(53:46):
very briefly before I let you go, is I looked
at zoron Mom Donnie's chart, because a lot of what's
going on the election here on the East Coast is
revolved in New York, obviously in New York City around
the mayoral race where he is running against primarily former
(54:09):
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. And I noticed some interesting
stuff which I'll probably talk about and we'll see what
happens with the election, so I'll as long as I remember,
I will talk about it next week. But he's a
Libra's son at twenty six degrees of Libra in his
(54:29):
third house, conjunk Mars at zero scorpio, conjunct Mercury at
zero scorpio, but his Mars and Mercury and Mars particularly
partile squares Saturn in his seventh house on his descendant,
so he has a zero Leo ascendant and a zero
(54:53):
Aquarius decendate with Saturn at zero nineteen. I'm talking zero
zero here, but Saturs at zero nineteen just into the
seventh house and its squared by Mars in Scorpio from
his third house of communication. So I think that he
(55:15):
appeals because that can be a very frustrating energy internally,
I think because he appeals to people's frustrations, especially in
New York City, especially over issues like.
Speaker 4 (55:29):
You know, free buses and.
Speaker 2 (55:32):
Mostly housing costs, you know, which is a serious issue
in New York City, rent stabilized in rent control departments
or one of his major major platforms for this for
this election. But we'll talk more about that. But he's
got Mars opposite Urinus from his fourth house Mars and
(55:56):
Saje in the fourth house to Uranus in his tenth house,
which feels like it could be some kind of change
around his shall we say, home situation and a change
in his reputation out in the world. Uranus also is
(56:18):
trining from zero Gemini his zero Saturn in Aquarius from
his tenth to his seventh. So what's interesting here too
is that you know Saturn by transit right when it
goes over your descend it, it starts that seven approximately
year journey to the mid heaven. So you know, what
(56:44):
do you call it?
Speaker 4 (56:44):
Transiting?
Speaker 2 (56:45):
Saturn is in his eighth house right now, so it
is actually transiting. Several years from now, it'll be on
his mid heaven, which is four degrees Taurus. So let's
see what happens. Oh, and he also has Jupiter.
Speaker 4 (57:00):
What was it?
Speaker 2 (57:01):
Jupiter is square to his Sun. Jupiter square the sun
is usually a time when.
Speaker 4 (57:06):
You're very, very busy.
Speaker 2 (57:09):
And Jupiter's in his twelve house but heading towards his
Leo ascendant and heading towards opposing. But as I said,
he's going to retrograde first. He'll eventually oppose, but not
until next summer his natal Saturn. But I think it's
important too to recognize that Jupiter in the sky transiting
(57:33):
is trining.
Speaker 4 (57:35):
Saturn.
Speaker 2 (57:37):
Jupiter is on election day by nine pm at twenty
five h four Cancer and Saturn is retrograde at twenty
five thirty seven Pisces, and that this is part of
this Jupiter Saturn cycle, the synotic cycle, which began at
the end of December of twenty twenty and represents the
(57:59):
fight between Zeus and Saturn in Greek mythology Jupiter and
Saturn in Roman mythology.
Speaker 4 (58:09):
Where the young.
Speaker 2 (58:14):
Replaces the old, so that trine is somewhat auspicious, but
it will remain to be seen because also Venus is
opposite Chiron, It's opposite the chirn and Eiris in his
ninth and I think that again is part of the
(58:35):
chaos and the wounding around finances. And they square Jupiter,
so Jupiter's the apex of the T square, but Venus
square Jupiter's. Has said before is how much is too much?
And how much is that causing you chaos and wounding
because they're taking your tax payer dollars and given you
nothing for it anyway. All right, So that's it for today.
(58:58):
Thank you so much for joining me today. I am
hoping that you found the information presented here helpful as
you continue your karmic evolution in this lifetime. Please be
sure to join me again next week on November seventh,
for another episode of this podcast. Until then, may your
soul's journey be filled with karmic healing and the joy
(59:21):
of greater consciousness.
Speaker 4 (59:22):
Now must day, no.
Speaker 1 (59:24):
You go before this days confusion did be again.
Speaker 2 (59:33):
Throughout the stars?
Speaker 1 (59:35):
Did you go onder?
Speaker 3 (59:41):
Distance was no barrier and time and had no hope?
Speaker 1 (59:51):
Freeze you come and freez you you you come, and
free to go?
Speaker 3 (01:00:06):
Oh then on the boat
Speaker 1 (01:00:09):
The book, back on the boat,
