may not have heard the other twoshows that you were a part of,
Yeah, no is and also lotshave changed since the last time we spoke.
(03:51):
Yeah. So now I moved awayfrom education for the time being on
into media. So now I haveI'm the co founder of all the Media,
which is an online news platform andit's growing rapidly here in Australia.
And also I grew my web designand social media business which is Brand Plus
(04:12):
Solutions, and now that one's growingas well. So I'm all over the
place these few months, past coupleof years. If you want, just
out of COVID finished. Yeah, wow, Well, congratulations. I'm excited
for you. I know that you'reYou're the guy who is pretty good with
like getting involved with projects and startingthem and exploring in that area. So
(04:38):
I do admire that. I remembersaying, oh my gosh, you have
how many books, and I waslike, yeah, yeah, this one
is the eighth after an eight yearbreak. Wow, eight books and it's
been eight years. Wow, it'sbeen eight years since the seventh. Yeah,
(05:00):
I've taken a long break. ButI'll use that break to kind of
embrace the material for this new bookand put it all together. It's it
took a while. This one isvery very deep, very detailed. Wow,
I've seen it's like three hundred it'sover three hundred pages like three point
fifty two. Yeah, yeah, something like that. Yeah, that's like
(05:24):
a book that's a real you know. Yeah. I'm not saying that other
books are not considered as like realbooks if they're small, but I'm saying
that is the kind that you it'syou know, yeah, you obviously can
identify. It has to be prettydeep, you know. So can you
share the name of this eighth bookwith our listeners? Okay, so this
(05:45):
book is called Embracing the Spirit Personalitywith a subtitle Delving Deeper and Rising Higher.
Well, you know you're talking mylanguage. When we start talking about
like rising higher, raising our vibrationand living in our truth and becoming more
of who we are, all ofthat stuff resonates with me. So I
do want to talk about this abit. When you're talking about I was
(06:10):
thinking about like living in spirit, living in that way, like all the
time, being in that state ofbeing. Let me just ask you a
little bit about the title and whatdoes it mean to you versus me.
Assuming I've tried to make it moreinclusive, more accessible to everyone, So
(06:32):
whether you're spiritual or not, thisbook will resonate with you. So I've
taken more of a psychological perspective intohow you can develop a personality that is
well rounded, more coherent with itself, more harmonious, and a personality that
can be can connect with all theother personalities regardless of what they're doing,
(07:00):
what their goals are, and whatthey are hoping to achieve. That is
what I called the Spirit personality, and it's based on my earlier book which
was Developing the Spirit Personality. Sopreviously we worked on trying to identify what
the personalities are, how they worktogether, and put more of an overview
(07:21):
of the personalities. In this book, I go deeper into what makes the
personality, how each person has reachedthe current point that they are in,
how their personality has developed so far, and then from that, how you
can move to develop the remainder thatwhatever is missing in your personality. So
(07:45):
if you're missing if you don't havethe skills to do public speaking, for
example, this means that you havea gap in your wind personality. Now
there's lots of things that you cando to address this gap and to kind
of bridge it between create a bridgebetween this and all the other elements of
(08:05):
your personality. Eventually, this willhelp you reach a personality that can function
in any situation. Wow, thatbook sounds exciting because you know how difficult
it is to function like in anyenvironment or any situation. It's like,
not everybody, we don't have thatability naturally to get through it. So
(08:31):
anything that can help us, weappreciate it. Yeah, it's all about
understanding that your personality so far hasbeen developing itself unconsciously. But if you
bring that process into consciousness and youcontrol the traits that you want to develop,
then you can accelerate your development andreach your goals more quickly. I've
(08:54):
read that there's like an interactive bookor what do you call it it is.
It's more of a guide book,it's more of a resource. So
I don't expect a person to getthe book and read it from the beginning
to the end and that's it.No, I would expect them to start
with it and then start working oneach part as they go along. So
(09:16):
they write their journal, find outwhat's missing in their personality, assess themselves,
and then move on to creating aplan that will help them that will
help them reach each trait they wantto reach, and then after that they
reassess see what's missing and keep movingon, keep evolving, keep rising higher,
(09:37):
which is the subtitle. Can Igo back to that last book?
Wi nd It's the four It's basedon the four elements, so earth,
water, wind, and fire.In summary, the Earth personality is usually
the personality that is philosophical. It'sthinking personality. It deals with abstracts,
it deals with with with with mainly, and it's a personality that challenges everything,
(10:03):
that says no to everything. It'sdifficult to get this personality convinced,
but once you do, it's onyour side and that's it. It doesn't
change. The water personality is veryloyal, very dedicated personality. Once you
give it a task to do,it will keep doing it until it reaches
(10:24):
a blockage or it's asked to stop. But once it stops, it just
stops it. It doesn't start anythingnew unless it is provoked to or asked
to start something new. The Windpersonality is an actually communicator. It has
really good communication skills and it excelsat making friends. It has friends everywhere,
(10:46):
but almost none of these friends wouldbe long term or deep connection friends.
Is there an understanding as to whythey never keep those friendships for long
it's part of part of their characters. They want to have friends everywhere.
That and they have a kind oflow attention span, which means that they
(11:09):
create the friends, but then theydon't maintain they don't do the effort to
maintain this friendship. So this ispart of the Wind personality's shortcomings. And
then we have the Fire personality, which is the charismatic, the leader.
It's a personality that can make peoplefollow or do whatever it wants so each
person. But the problem with theFire personality is that it is prone to
(11:31):
become very power corrupt. So ifit gets into a position of power,
it would be the first one tomake the rules and then the first one
to break them. Yeah, thisis one of the shortcomings of the Fire
personality. Now, if we putall the positive aspects of the personalities together,
then we access the spirit personality, which is a personality that has the
(11:56):
philosophical or the wisdom of earths ofwater, the communication skills of wind,
and the leadership skills of fire.Imagine, if the person has a really
good understanding, a really good commandof these traits, these general traits,
then that person can excel anywhere.Oh I love it now that charble is
(12:22):
good stuff. I do recall howyou had described the wind the personalities and
like how impactful understanding that could befor anyone to help them to be successful
in their life, you know. And I think you had mentioned like being
a better communicator. So how longdid it take you to put the book
together? It took around eighty years. But it's mainly based on the previous
(12:46):
book, because the previous book becamereally successful, especially even back in Lebanon
where it was released initially, andonline. It created lots of conversations with
people. It allowed me to observemany more people, see how they interact,
see how the personalities have are affectingeach other, and all this I
(13:13):
had. I took notes of it, I studied it, reflected on it
more, did more research online aswell, So I got lots of resources
in this book as well. Andthat's how I put it all together and
got a deeper version of what weinitially had with definitely a lot more new
(13:37):
information on how each personality protects itselfwhen it's when it precedes itself under attack,
and how they how each each personcan have can blend different personalities together
when they are not a spirit person. So how all of this works together.
You know what I do travel wheneverI feel like I am under attack
(14:01):
minus to shut down, like literallyjust go into shutdown mode and then I
can like just focus on a taskand ignore everything else around me. These
strategies are what I call in thebook, I call them psychological shield weapons
because at the same time they shieldyou from they shield your personality from being
(14:22):
attacked by another personality, but atthe same time they can be used for
attack. So the strategy you areusing is what I call the ignoring,
which is you're attacked by another personality, you ignore that attack. You pretend
as if it's not happening as longas you can until you absolutely have to
(14:43):
deal with it. That is me. So in the book, it shows
you how you can deal with eachone of these shield weapons and how you
can disarm them. When it's justlike me, I have one way of
dealing with things, but like ifI'm dealing with something in a way where
(15:05):
my responsibility is to other people inthat space, it feels like it changes.
Let's say, like if we're inan environment where where I'm responsible for
maybe running an event, or I'mmy capacity or role at that time is
I'm the one helping to coordinate ordo things. It's like, at that
(15:30):
point it feels like nothing can penetrateor get in the way of me being
able to operate and get that doneuntil after it's over. Then I'm like,
WHOA did you? Yeah? Butif I am I'm at a desk
working and something happens, I feellike it's just like I handle it in
(15:52):
two different ways. You're different sometimesdepending on the environment and which you're in,
and you'll tolerate well. I havea tendency to tolerate and to put
up with things a little bit longer, sometimes in different environments than in other
environments, If that makes sense. This is one hundred percent correct and lots
(16:15):
of people And this is the firstchapter of the book. It deals with
how personality got to where it was. Usually, your personality is created as
a response to first your family environment. So if you go back to considering
how your parents were, how yoursiblings were behaving, and you see how
(16:40):
your responses to their behaviors started showingup, you start understanding that, Oh,
so my initial personality before I wentinto college or before I went into
the first job, it was developedin a certain way. But then when
you started your first job or whatever, join the different group of people,
(17:04):
the personality started to change to adaptto this new environment. In the process,
you developed some skills. And theseskills they stay with you. They
become a bit weaker over time ifyou don't use them, but the more
you use them, the stronger theybecome. And when you are put in
a situation where you need these traitsor you need these skills again, they
(17:26):
are there. Once you use them, they become stronger as well. And
this is what happens as we aswe go along. But as I said,
this process has been unconscious. Oncewe bring it to consciousness and we
realize. Okay, so I havean issue with, let's say, negotiating
with people. So I know thatthis is where my gap is. I
(17:49):
know how the book will tell me. Okay, so you need to develop
negotiation skills. You need to putyourself in that situation, you need to
practice in that way. You needto do these projects and they will help
you develop negotiation skills. That's prettyinteresting that I was able to share that
(18:11):
small piece Charbo. You gotta tellus about you, which one would you
fit in in the Okay? Inthe personality elements. Initially, my main
my main personality was water, whichis as you know, I think we've
discussed it in a previous conversation.I'm on the spectrum. I have asked
(18:32):
for this syndrome, which is apart of autism, and mainly the water
personality is rather strong in people withautism. So that was my main personality.
And once I discovered that I hadautism, it was around the same
time where I started discovering these personalities, which were based on a study by
(18:55):
Rudolf Steiner. So I found itinteresting and I started going into it even
more. And then I realized, okay, fine, if this is my
main personality, then I need tostart working on the others. And I
started developing skill after skill after skill. I put myself in situations where I
wouldn't put myself in before I realizedthat, Okay, I need to do
(19:18):
this to get out of my comfortmy comfort zone and to become a better
person. But I'm getting the bookbecause I really do think that it's something
that's definitely going to be an assetfor me in my life. I don't
like dealing with confrontation. By thetime you get my age, and then
it's like, if I ignore this, yes, it's definitely going to go
away. And then when I recognizelike this is becoming suffocating, then it's
(19:42):
like that's when it's like, Okay, I have no choice but to deal
with it, but I do likethe hope this go away sometimes. You
know, this is probably one ofthe major personalities that you have. So
from what I know of you,and this is in no way a final
(20:03):
assessment or a photo assessment, Ican see that your two main personalities are
wind and water. I think you'reabsolutely right. Yeah, the Water personality
is the one that prefers to justlet the problem go away by itself.
And this is enhanced by the Windpersonality that does not want to deal with
(20:23):
problems. It wants happy, golucky kind of life. So put them
together and this is what this iswhat mainly happens. But eventually, when
you have to deal with it,then you start calling on your fire personality
to say, okay, you knowwhat, stop, this is not what
I want and this is the wayI want my life to go. And
(20:45):
then you call upon the fire skillsthat you have developed. Charbo, you
know what you have like a lotof good information that you share. You're
like one of those people that Iwatch and admire and I'm like the red
Right, yes, yeah, andan online news platform and online radio.
Yeah. I think that that's likegood stuff. You know. So if
(21:07):
someone wanted to listen to the radiostation here in the States and get like
connected with you, how would theybe able to do that? They can
download the app it's called oozed atour radio. We run across a lot
of different people, and I reallymean this. We we've run into people,
we meet them, and they comeinto our lives and you connect for
(21:30):
whatever reason. Well, the veryfirst time I think I heard your podcast,
it was a few different things ina row. That was where I
was like, I've got to talkto this guy and get them on the
show, you know. And sowe stayed connected since then, and I
love watching you know your what you'redoing. You have beautiful a beautiful family,
(21:52):
and so I'm always excited when youshare that you've done something. I'm
happy for you and you guys,I know that you'll find that they're there's
a lot of value in this book. This year, Charbo is the year
of like self care is what theycall it. Right, you know how
we go through like, oh,this is the year of like self love
and you know, and so thisis a part of that, like treating
(22:15):
yourselves, treating ourselves to a bookthat can help us to balance our lives
in all of the areas, youknow, and make us stronger. So
I appreciate it. Thank you.Yes, well, this book is about
this. It's about not just selfcare. It's about becoming a better person
for your sake and for the sakeof the people around you. And if
(22:37):
you can help them become better peopleas well, well, why not?
Yeah, definitely, why not. What is it that you'd want to say
to our listeners that you have notshared already. I would say that you
need to The first thing that peopleneed to realize is that personality is not
(22:59):
something set in stone. It's notrelated to your horoscope. Some people they
always ask me, oh, yeah, I'm an Earth horoscope where I'm a
water sign, or yeah, maybeit might have started like that. I
did not go that deep into thatside of the research, simply because it's
too historic. And I would belike saying that every single person born in
(23:23):
the month of January was a certainway. It would be a kind of
boring life where you cannot change, right, the beauty of it change.
You can change yourself, You canbecome a better person. You can do
whatever you want, starting with yourself. Where can I find the book?
It's available on Amazon and Kindle.I know they're like, why do you
(23:44):
even ask people? Where can Ifind the book? I ask anyway,
because sometimes some people only have theirbooks on a website, or it might
only be yeah, you know,no not always. I know, not
always. Can you share with usbefore where we end our episode? So
you have two kids all the wayon the other side of the world,
and I have a husband who wantsto travel there. I'm like, I
(24:08):
think it literally takes a full dayto get to Australia. It takes I
think from the States it takes aroundfourteen hours. Oh that's not that bad.
Yeah, well, whenever you feellike coming over, just let me
know. I now, because wecouldn't travel or do anything during COVID,
but we don't have Australia like onthe list like for twenty twenty four or
(24:29):
anything like that. But that's oneof his things on his bucket lists.
He wants to go, and Australiais a beautiful country. Add that to
my bucket list where I do somethinglike that. If it's not too expensive,
you know, then I can work. It depends on what you want
to do. There's always something thatyou can do with in your budget.
And you were the person who gaveme my beginning of viewing autism, you
(24:52):
know, in a different way.It led me to then talking more about
it to other people and having peopleon the show and things like that,
and then just having just a completelydifferent understanding of it, you know.
So it's like it's not viewed tome in a way where I'm just educated
(25:14):
about it and understand it. Andso I think that educating ourselves is something
that's very important when it comes toa lot of the different things that we
hear about frequently, you know whatI mean? Yeah, yeah, Can
I see the cover of the bookand share the name again before we sure?
There you go? Which I loveit. I love the cover embracing
(25:36):
the spirit personality, delving deeper andrising higher. Available on Amazon. Order
your copy today. You guys arenot going to be disappointed. Charbo.
