Hi there, welcome to the calming anxiety podcast.
You are here for 10 minutes of guided meditation, a powerful act of a self-care ritual.
Let's set the intention to cultivate self-love and bring mindful clarity to our hearts today.

(00:30):
Allow your body to settle in, finding comfort and stillness, somewhere you won't be disturbed for a while.
Gently close your eyes now and bring all of your awareness to your breath, your personal anchor.
We begin by consciously releasing any tension or stress that you may have carried into this moment.

(00:59):
So focus on the almost hypnotic rhythm of the rise and form of each and every breath.
On your in-breath, draw in fresh, clean air and then on the extended out-breath,

(01:22):
allow yourself to let go of any worries or stagnant energy, just breathe naturally and softly.
Yet be aware of the sensations within and around your chest as you breathe in and breathe out.

(01:45):
Now bring your attention to your seat, feel your body becoming heavy, rooting you down into the earth.
We are grounding you firmly in the present moment of peace and tranquility.
You are safe here. This stability allows you to be an advocate for protecting your peace.

(02:14):
Let your mind wander aimlessly around your body, finding moments of tension or stress.
As you breathe in, imagine a warm wave of calming energy flowing through that area.
And then as you breathe out, the muscle fibres, they loosen, they lengthen, they unwind and you truly allow yourself this moment of peaceful connection.

(02:52):
To reunite mind, body and soul in harmony, in acceptance, relax and unwind deeply, safely, with every out breath, with every word I say.

(03:18):
Now gently bring your awareness right to your heart centre, the middle of your chest.
Visualize a warm, radiant light glowing within your heart.
Let it be the colour that represents compassion and warmth to you, whatever that may be, it will be perfect for you and your consciousness.

(03:45):
Feel this beautiful glowing light begin to spread throughout your chest, gently melting away any defensiveness or hardness, pushing away the strain, the angst.
This light is an energetic cocoon of love and healing, its energy, pure, transformative, feel it flow outwards cascading into your shoulders, releasing any tension, allow your shoulders to drop and relax.

This light is your wellspring of self-love.
Take a deep breath right now into your heart centre, with every pulse of this light, you are reminded of your self-worth and in a wisdom.

(04:49):
You deserve to feel this whole, complete, loving all that you are.
So allow your mind this moment of time out from the turmoil of the world outside.

(05:10):
Allow yourself to let go of the mistakes of your past, the negative words or actions of others, to truly honour all that you are with this simple gift of time.

(05:31):
Relax deeply and safely, drifting deeply, calmly as a new sense of acceptance and understanding flows through the very monologue of your thoughts.
You are worthy, you are loved.

(05:56):
As you rest in this loving energy, let's welcome a few powerful truths to integrate this feeling into your whole being.
You do not need to repeat them aloud. Simply let the words resonate in your heart, maybe visualise them in your mind's eye as you hear them.

(06:25):
I choose peace. I honour myself by setting healthy boundaries and protecting my peace.
I am loved and supported. I am capable of emotional independence and I am kind to myself without judgement.

(06:52):
I trust my inner wisdom. I allow the mindful clarity of my heart to guide me.
Let these words sink down and become part of your root.
Breathe them in for a few moments, allowing them to gently wash over your heart's centre.

(07:22):
Then feel your breathing once more, inhaling hope, clarity, self-acceptance and breathing out the negativity that surrounds us all.
And then once more, listen to my words, imagine them and feel the echo of them resonate within your soul.

(07:54):
I choose peace. I honour myself by setting healthy boundaries and protecting my peace.
I am loved and supported. I am capable of emotional independence and I am kind to myself without judgement.

(08:22):
I trust my inner wisdom. I allow the mindful clarity of my heart to guide me.
And once more, you breathe out tension and negativity. You truly allow yourself to grow and heal.

(08:51):
Now gently bring yourself back into awareness, back to the sounds of the room and the world outside.
Carry this sense of self-love and compassion with you.
Go on, wiggle your fingers and toes, start to stretch out your arms and legs.

(09:13):
And when you are truly ready, softly open your eyes. Remember, you can always return to this sacred space whenever you need mindful clarity.
You are strong, you are worthy and you are loved.
