caught immediately after his heights while countinghis money outside the targeted branch. He
was caught again just a few dayslater trying to rob the same bank.
Michael Nash, forty nine, wasswiftly taken into cussy for carrying out the
failed scheme that closely resembled his fumblefrom five years earlier. The botch twenty

eighteen burglary earned him a spot onat least one Dumbest Criminals list after he
slipped a teller demand note that itwith his name and birthday scrawled on the
back. Clad in black jeans andblack boots and a black hat, Nash
allegedly sauntered up to her first Nationalbank and anchorage at nine am, him
violently pulling on the front doors.Employees told Nash that the glass of the
bank would not open for another hour, but he stood his ground and passed

does not appear that Nash included hispersonal information on note this time. Around
the second time, the supervisor immediatelyyelled for the bank door to be locked
via secondary locking mechanism and called nineone one, but Nash continued loitering in
front of the bank. A nervousand stuttering Nash allegedly rejected a bank security

officers please for the robber to leave. When they finally arrived, Nash peacefully
submitted was transported to Anchorage Police department. While he was being put at handcuffs
and he was back on the patrolcar, and Nash made several excited utterances
that it was not his first timerobbing a bank, officers later recounted to
FBI investigators. The records check revealedthat Nash was arrested, charged, and

convicted for robbing the same bank intwenty eighteen. Although he followed a nearly
identical modus operendi the Monday morning,the hold up was not nearly as effective
as the twenty eighteen so either way, Nash gets busted again for trying to
rob a bank.
