guys are preparing for the big Game, or even maybe preparing for some friends
to come over for gathering. Whetheryou're a season party host or a first

(00:44):
timer, We've got the ultimate guideon how to host a big game party
that's both easy, buddet, finally, and even delicious. We're excited to
welcome back to our broadcast today RissaBrainy. You guys know her as a
television host and lifestyle expert. Shegonna help share some friendly tips three guys
that won't compromise on the fund, but also will be a little bit kinder
to your wallet as well. Marissa, always a pleasure speaking with to you.

(01:07):
Thank you again for the time.Oh, thank you for having me.
Cyrus, Always a pleasure to bewith you. Well, this is
an exciting time, I note fora lot of people, whether they're going
to be watching the football game Marissaor just looking for the commercials. But
but what tips do you have formaking the task of hosting a big game
gathering easier and more enjoyable this year? Yeah, there's always a bit of
both in each party crowd and youknow, big game season is my fave.

(01:30):
It combines my love of hosting withthe excitement of football. It's such
a fun day and it's actually oneof the biggest food holidays, second only
to Thanksgiving, believe it or not. So if you're hosting, you want
to make sure that you're really bringingyour a game when it comes to the
food. And we often think aboutfinger foods for game day, right wings

(01:53):
and you know, sliders, nachos, things like that. So I'm partnering
with Target to bring you some greatop this year. Target is my favorite
one stop shop. So we're goingto get you in, we're going to
get you out. We're going togive you everything you need to really host
a winning party. Love that andRistha, you always do such a great
job of being able to share thingslike this, especially of course through social

(02:14):
But for yourself, what are someof your go to dishes for big game
entertaining? So you know it isall about those finger foods and I love
a little twist on them, right, And so this year I have to
tell you Target pulled together three gameday spreads for under twenty five dollars,
so they kind of did the workfor you. They gave you the option

(02:35):
and then they saved you the money. So we love that. So we'll
start with my favorite, which isthe Cheeseburger Taco board. This is so
much fun. It combines, ofcourse the best the two worlds. We
love, cheeseburgers and tacos. Soyou have your seasoned ground beef and then
all your fixin's, your lettuce, tortillas, cheese pickles. Got to have
that special sauce too, and againall of that for under twenty five dollars.

(03:00):
They did a wing basket as wellwith everything you need ready to go
under twenty five bucks, and thena nacho bar moment, which is a
lot of fun. People can kindof choose what they love on their nachos,
so really great to really stay onbudget. And then of course their
target brand, Good and Gather hasa lot of great snacking options to kind

(03:21):
of fill out the menu, fromdips to chips. They even have popcorns
and things like that. We don'twant to forget about dessert too. They
have a target brand called Favorite Daymakes great desserts, little bite sized brownies,
things like that. And then ofcourse beverages. So beverages are big,
and whether you're going alcoholic or nonalcoholic, you can get them both.

(03:44):
Target has you covered. But Iwant to call out some non alcoholic
drinks this year because you know alot of people are continuing their dry January,
so some that you might not havetried yet that are great. Athletic
Brewing Co and Lagunitas two great nonalcoholic options. And then Targets Good and
Gather has these sparkling waters that havesuch fun flavors. Definitely want to give

(04:08):
the cherry Cola a try. It'sreally youm so you're going to be good
to go, you go in,you get everything you need in one place.
Well, that's some really good tipsand it's great to know that,
as you mentioned that all in oneaspect, Marissa, is something that I
know our audience will appreciate sce savingthem time, but definitely saving them money.
I love the price points that youmentioned there. So for those who

(04:29):
are doing the hosting, do youhave any tips there, Marissa when it
comes to how they can be ableto host a great event but not break
the bank in the process. Well, it's really about making a plan.
You know, that's really going tobe your MVP here when you are hosting.
You want to curate your menu aheadof time. You want to make
that list and you want to stickto it. And I will say that's
definitely easier to do when you're goingto one store as opposed to kind of

(04:51):
bouncing around to different places, becausethen we get tempted. We have these
little impulse buys along the way,and you know, I have to tell
you Target if it's same day deliveryand drive up options are my best friend
as a busy mom, but theyalso help me save money because you put
it all in ahead of time, right, You put in your list,

(05:11):
you check out, then they deliverit into the trunk of your car in
minutes or to your house same day, and you're not bringing the kids into
the store kind of wandering around indifferent directions getting off track. So really
it helps me stay on budget whenI use those options, not to mention
so fast and convenient too, Rotha, you always come through for us.
I really do appreciate you stopping byby again. Everyone. MRSA Brownie has

(05:32):
been our guest today, you guysknow who, as the television's host and
lifestyle expert, helping you guys withsome budget friendly and delicious options for the
big game party that you may bethrowing or attending. Bris Where can our
audience go for more information? Well, definitely at to Target dot com and
the Target app for these game dayfavorites, you'll be covered and ready to
host your party. With all thisall right, Rissa, really appreciate it

(05:55):
and looking forward to our next chattogether. Yes, nice to talk with
you, cyrus As always appreciate youand we think your audience for tuning in
