Speaker 3 (03:18):
You mean before dinosaurs.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
Yeah, wouldn't that be the dawn of Earth? Mm hmm,
there you go.
Speaker 4 (03:27):
So glad he didn't get eaten.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
He is a dinosaur all right? Everyone?
Speaker 4 (03:37):
Well, oh, Dylan is coming for your job.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
That's a good one, so good that I wish I
came up with it. I'll work with it. Happy Sunday,
every one. Sorry, we are running behind. Had some technical difficulties,
but here we are face to face a couple of
silver spoons. And even right before the show, I'm sure
(04:11):
y'all saw me make a mad dash. Why because I
forgot my water and I was not going to survive
this show without my water. Not today, Not today, Satan
not be melting today.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
Huh you melting today?
Speaker 1 (04:28):
Oh? Not today? The AC is fixed. Let me tell
you you know, Customer service isn't what it used to be.
Can I remember the days when you would call an
AC person over to your house to fix something, and
not only would they fix the problem, but they would
also just do a check. They would check the AC
(04:51):
unit to make sure that everything is copasthetic with that
and that everything is running smoothly. They would also check
your filters, just to make sure they're not old and
du and maybe needs to be replaced. And if it did,
they would go to the truck and they would say,
I just so happened to have an air filter for you,
and I'll put it in for your charge. You know
what these folks did. They came in, they went upstairs
(05:15):
into the attic, they flipped the switch and left.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
You could have done that.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
Right probably you know who, you know who else could
have done that, the people the day before when I
told my landlord, hey, these people can come check it out.
So we could have had a whole twenty four hours before.
But you know what these people did. They just climbed.
They made me clean out the closet that has access
(05:45):
to the attic. They went up there and said, they
came down and said, I'll fix Well, do you want
to tell me what was fixed? Do you want to
tell me how to prevent it? Do you want to
take a look around at anything else? Oh? No, not anyway,
I have air and it's now. I wouldn't say Elsa
(06:09):
in here, but she's definitely about to walk through soon.
So anyway, I won't be melting like I was yesterday.
Yesterday last week, because last week I was about to die.
Even my mom text me and was like you look hot,
and I was like thanks a lot. Any Who's it's people.
(06:33):
It is Sunday, It's the last day of the month,
and we are here talking about our favorite soap opera
because that's what we love to do. What did we
think of this week's episode of Days of Our Lives?
Speaker 2 (06:50):
A lot of talking this week, A lot of talking.
Speaker 3 (06:54):
I enjoyed it.
Speaker 4 (06:57):
I enjoy talking. We know, you know what felt like
a warm It felt like a warm.
Speaker 3 (07:06):
Cup of chowder. It felt That's what it felt like.
Speaker 4 (07:08):
That's like the classic like warm cup of Chowter was
my comfort my comfort place this week. You know, it
didn't make me didn't put me on the edge of
my seat, but it also didn't want want to make
me pull.
Speaker 3 (07:20):
My hair out.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
Did I keep you engaged?
Speaker 3 (07:25):
Yes, A good conversation. We'll do that. It's the nonsense
that just I'm like, bye bye, okay, all right.
Speaker 1 (07:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (07:36):
I not much movement in terms of like storyline, but
we had some good like character interaction I think, yeah,
with different people, different people, which was nice.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
I think I had one of those weeks where Friday
went off, and I was like, what happened this week?
So we'll see.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
There's a word for it.
Speaker 6 (08:01):
When it's like there's just like not not our info week,
like not that there's like a term, like an industry
term for it, like exploratory exploration something.
Speaker 1 (08:15):
It was there, It was there. I mean that's pretty
much all you can say. It was there.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
Exposition that that Yes, yes, exposition.
Speaker 1 (08:26):
We love it. We love an exposition.
Speaker 3 (08:29):
Thank you? Film school?
Speaker 2 (08:31):
Is that is that right?
Speaker 7 (08:33):
Like?
Speaker 2 (08:33):
Yeah, I think I think called like an exposition week.
Speaker 3 (08:37):
I think so, you don't know, it's been a while
since I've been in school.
Speaker 1 (08:44):
Arselly just said a big word to go with it.
Speaker 4 (08:48):
That's usually what I am doing when I say most
of my big words.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
You just saying it and going with it.
Speaker 5 (08:54):
Yes, you know what?
Speaker 1 (08:56):
So this now makes sense all those times that I
would look at y'all after your big words and I
would go huh, and then y'all be like, oh, you know,
how dare you don't know this big word? And now
the truth comes out. You just using stuff just to
be using it and don't even know expeditiously if you're
(09:18):
using the correct terminology.
Speaker 4 (09:21):
I'm fairly certain expeditiously. Well, I think you use the
word expeditiously could be correct if you're using in a
certain way. I will say, even if I don't necessarily
know the full context of the word that I am using,
I can usually spell it. Happy Sunday, everyone, Let's get
(09:49):
into what we'd like to talk about, shall we.
Speaker 1 (09:54):
I really wish I knew a big word so that
I could insert it right there, but I don't. My
vocabulary is very limited. All right, ooh, inverting a big word.
Note to self, don't use this wall. All right, ladies
and gentlemen, it is now time to start.
Speaker 2 (10:16):
I was early on that one.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
Yeah, you were. That's all right. No one likes it
when you come early. Michael manis oooh you know what
if I if I was not mistaken, that same kind
of joke was made this week by Hobby. Did you
at that.
Speaker 2 (10:36):
There was some kind of There was a dick joke
somewhere in there?
Speaker 1 (10:39):
Yeah, when Hobby, when Hobby and Gabby were talking, he
emphasized a particular word, and I was like, you are
on peacock girl, I have some class.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
I can't remember exactly what it was.
Speaker 6 (10:57):
Oh, and then Brady and what's his face talking about
the snake had I was like, okay, cut next next scene.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
I'm sure you were like.
Speaker 6 (11:13):
I was like, ha ha haa okay, yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
Oh look, you guys aren't the only one that knows
big words. Thanking Dylan Matthews. M h there we go.
All right, y'all, let's kick things off with our top storylines,
and we're gonna start with Kristen's premature confession.
Speaker 6 (11:40):
If only she hadn't said anything, but.
Speaker 1 (11:46):
She said, did she not tell e J? Let's just
wait until the verdict comes in and then I'll figure
out what to do. EJ was not satisfied with that.
He wanted something done then and he wanted something done now.
And I don't know about y'all, but I'm super aggravated
(12:06):
at the fact that she made that confession instead of
waiting for the not guilty verdict that was going to
come down. Now, not only have you told on yourself,
but when it comes out that you didn't do it,
then people are going to be like, well, why did
(12:27):
you do it? And who are you protected. My mom
is finally in the room everyone. It's football season, so
she's probably going to be a little late, but it
was so I was, I was, I was. I'm sorry,
I was annoyed. I was annoyed.
Speaker 3 (12:46):
A lot of people were right there with you on that.
Speaker 1 (12:48):
I am glad that we that we do know the verdict,
but I was, I was super annoyed. How did y'all feel.
Speaker 6 (13:00):
It's just, you know, I'm like this, this is I
understand the motivation to protect her daughter and everything, but
it just, you know, it's the same thing with what's
her face lying about Xander or lying to Xander. It's like,
it's not you know, it's not a long good, long
term solution.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
No, it's gonna come out sooner or later.
Speaker 6 (13:25):
And it's just putting yourself through this, putting your family
through this, you know, And and honestly, it's probably gonna
be in my opinion, And I'm not a psychologist, I'm
not a child behaviorist. I feel like this was this
is the more harmful approach rather than sitting Rachel down
and maybe trying to engage with her about what actually
(13:47):
happens so she can begin to process it now, because
they're just delaying an inevitable.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
Like this whole idea.
Speaker 6 (13:54):
And again, not a child psychologist, not a kid behaviorist.
Speaker 1 (13:58):
I don't.
Speaker 6 (13:58):
It just doesn't seem like if you know your kid
did something like this and they're repressing it.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
I don't think.
Speaker 6 (14:06):
Prolonging prolonging What am I trying to say, Prolonging the
inevitable inevitable? I get, Yeah, Okay, prolonging the inevitable is
actually going to be the better solution for her rather
than maybe starting trying to get her to process it.
Speaker 7 (14:24):
Now.
Speaker 4 (14:25):
Yes, I actually did because I felt like we were
on the right track last week and what we were
saying on this topic. But I did want to consult
an expert, So I did actually consult a licensed therapist
slash social worker slash my cousin.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
You went through a.
Speaker 4 (14:46):
Yes, yes enthusiast who said Kristen first of all, should
not be keeping this information from Brady because he's the
child's father. Marlena should know better, and Rachel should be
in therapy. As far as any legal repercussions, Rachel's case
would be immediately dismissed. She would face no legal consequences
(15:08):
zero for what she did. They would they would identify
as an accident and would immediately put her in uh
serious therapy. And if and when Rachel remembers they have
now all the adults in her life have now added
on the trauma and the guilt of knowing that her
mother went to jail for her. And then I asked
(15:31):
the follow up question of at this point, given where
they are now and all the information that is available,
would social Services at this point take Rachel away?
Speaker 3 (15:45):
And she said, with their history and with all this lying, yes, Well.
Speaker 6 (15:51):
See, then that's there. That's the And I think maybe
that's the reason they're Isn't that one of their motivations, And.
Speaker 3 (15:57):
That's that's the motivation.
Speaker 7 (16:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (16:00):
Yeah, they're basically doing long term psycholopegical damage to this child,
more so than she already has because they're afraid that
she's going to be taken away from Social services. So anyway,
slice that Rachel's kind of screwed.
Speaker 5 (16:16):
Yeah, I'm more annoyed by the fact that they're not
telling Brady, like what's the plan here? Like how can
you help Rachel if he doesn't know? It seems like
they're putting a lot on Marlena, who is still grieving
her dead husband.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
Like what you know what I mean? Like, what's the plan?
Speaker 5 (16:33):
Like, yeah, Marlene is a great shrink at all, but
she's got her own issues, and she's what's just supposed
to carefully watch Rachel for the next five to ten years,
you know what I mean, without Brady knowing or not.
You know, I just feel like there's no there's no
logical reason for him not to know. Like I don't
think Brady's the type he's not going to like the
(16:53):
fact that Kristen took the blame. Yeah, but he's not
going to be rushing into court to turn Rachel over
to free Christie. You know, I not understanding what the
what the downside? I don't understand why keep him in
the dark?
Speaker 1 (17:08):
Here?
Speaker 2 (17:10):
Did they ever like?
Speaker 1 (17:11):
And I don't.
Speaker 6 (17:11):
I don't remember them, Like did Kristin not want Brady
to know? Like now I can't remember from last week?
Like not telling you Brady. I don't think she gave
it reason. She just said I don't want him to know.
But it's like, how do you how do you help
Rachel know?
Speaker 4 (17:27):
Like yeah, I mean I don't think she's gotten as
far beyond Brady needing to be a stable parent for Rachel. Again,
I don't know where her logic comes in that if
he knew the truth, he wouldn't because again, she seems
(17:49):
to be putting so much on Marlena right now, and
Marlena is not in her right state of mind. If
she was, she would never ever, ever have agreed to
this plan.
Speaker 1 (18:02):
I I just would like to know who on the
Day's writing staff is so mad that they are using
these characters to get their aggression out, Because the way
Brady was talking to Kristen, also how Xander and Sarah
(18:24):
have been talking to each other, I'm like, who is
mad over there? Who is using art to get rid
of their frustrations.
Speaker 4 (18:35):
Well, in the case of Xander and Sarah, I do
think that, you know, we've you've heard from a lot
of the Xera fans that they're going they're very upset
over the state of things right now, And I keep
telling everyone hold on tight, because I think in that scenario,
the bringing up the subject of anger and impulsivity is
(18:55):
actually going to lead to somewhere.
Speaker 3 (18:58):
In Brady's case, I do think so, I really do.
Speaker 4 (19:01):
In Brady's case, I think he's just getting mad to get.
Speaker 1 (19:05):
Mad exactly, because that whole time I was like, at
some I was like, it's one of those ones where
you're watching and you're like, like, ho, tell him, like,
what are you like what he's going on and on
about how you're this day? You're like you called you
everything except for a child of God, and you were
(19:27):
just sitting there just.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (19:31):
Because it's like he doesn't get it, and he doesn't
get it and doesn't understand that like she didn't just
do this. And but also I feel like Brady should
have enough sense to go, why are you doing this?
Because I know, like you're not, Like, She's not that
selfish to just sit there and allow Johnny to go
(19:55):
through that, to allow Rachel to go through that, to
cover her, because we see, we see what she would
do for Rachel. That's her child. You know, she may
not be the best mother all the time, but she's
still very protective of Rachel. She would never have allowed
Rachel to go through what she went through knowing that
(20:18):
she was the one that did it. I think she
would have confessed when they called Rachel to the stand
and Rachel was getting involved, and she would have said, nope,
I did it because I'm not going to put her
through that now.
Speaker 2 (20:29):
But Brady should realize that he should.
Speaker 6 (20:32):
He should in his history, in his history, his crutch
has always been believing the worst about Kristen without thinking
about it, Like someone.
Speaker 4 (20:45):
Says, huh, not just Kristin, Oh not just not just
not just Kristen. I would say Brady has an I
can't open my eyes mentality because he.
Speaker 3 (21:02):
And jealousizes. No, that's not the right word.
Speaker 4 (21:04):
He he puts, he put the he puts certain women
on a pedestal who he thinks can do no wrong.
Speaker 3 (21:11):
And then he puts.
Speaker 4 (21:12):
He puts some He puts the women that he's involved
with who are like quote unquote bad into a separate category.
So they're either good or they're bad. There's no one between.
So he's always gonna believe the worst in these women.
He's always gonna believe the best in these women, and
there's no room for the great because remember he did
the same thing with Teresa way back when when she left, uh,
(21:37):
when she left him in Tate, he just believed the
worst of her without without digging deeper into it.
Speaker 1 (21:45):
Is that when she was kidnapped.
Speaker 4 (21:47):
Yes, yeah, he just he just believed. Yeah, he just
believed the worst. Yeah, he doesn't.
Speaker 3 (21:55):
He he does not see with his full scope of vision.
Speaker 6 (21:59):
Now is Chris and partly now in terms I'm just
talking about in terms of Kristin, she's she has done
enough to warrant some suspicion when it's presented that Kristen
did some ship that you may not you know, But
to your point, in this case of Rachel, would she
have just sat back and put her daughter through?
Speaker 1 (22:21):
No?
Speaker 2 (22:21):
Everyone?
Speaker 6 (22:22):
And I think people some people in town realize that.
And Brady is just not one of them. He just
has his his blinders on and just can't take kind
of himself out of it for a minute. And and yeah,
so I wonder so this week we get we were
back to huffy and puffy, I'm gonna blow your house
(22:45):
in Brady.
Speaker 5 (22:47):
I wonder if we'll get that this week though, I'm wondering.
I mean, last week it was seemed like it was
a shock and it just happened. So I'm wondering maybe,
I mean, maybe we'll get some introspection this week with
him at least thinking about it, like why would she
do this?
Speaker 2 (23:03):
What's going on? I don't know.
Speaker 1 (23:04):
I just.
Speaker 2 (23:06):
The promo answered that for you will answer that for
you when we watch it later. Yeah, okay, mm hmm.
Speaker 1 (23:13):
Side note, speaking of promos, I felt like I saw
somewhere where someone was like talking about the Fall preview
and I was like, oh, did that come out? But
then I didn't see it. No, yeah, yeah, they.
Speaker 4 (23:29):
We're talking about the extended promo that was released like
at the beginning of the month that was more of
like a the end of summer early fall preview.
Speaker 1 (23:42):
Got it.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
Yeah, I think they're referring to that one.
Speaker 6 (23:45):
I took that as a summer promo, not a fall promo,
but that was because it was released during the summer.
Speaker 2 (23:50):
But yeah, yeah, it's a fall promo.
Speaker 3 (23:54):
Well, at least they just slip away into a London time.
What I forget one a Yeller's fifties.
Speaker 6 (24:04):
She's being expeditious right now?
Speaker 2 (24:08):
Did I use it right?
Speaker 3 (24:09):
I don't think so.
Speaker 1 (24:12):
We have already we have already established that Rseli uses
big words that she doesn't quite know the meaning of.
She just hopes she says it and it lands in
the right sentence mhm.
Speaker 6 (24:24):
And then one of us, in a situation outside of
this will use that in a conversation and we'll get
looked that funny mm hmm, or they won't look at
us funny, and then they'll just go off and be like,
did you hear that. Dumb fox said yeah, and then
we'll look like idiots. It's okay, though, I'll be fine.
Speaker 2 (24:43):
Mutch. We say, wow, that's so expeditious, and people are like, what, I.
Speaker 1 (24:48):
Feel like, we're just gonna We're just gonna.
Speaker 4 (24:53):
No, it means it means promptly and quickly. So no,
you meant to say I use words thoroughly, like I
use many, not that I use them quickly.
Speaker 3 (25:06):
Who magmas?
Speaker 2 (25:10):
Well what did I say? Let's move on?
Speaker 6 (25:16):
Yeah, move on, exponitiously.
Speaker 2 (25:24):
Quickly fast.
Speaker 4 (25:26):
There you go, there's the right context.
Speaker 1 (25:31):
The two people who are very happy, uh is Chanel
and Johnny m hm. But they're trying to reconnect and
they can't because I keeps interrupting them.
Speaker 6 (25:47):
If Susan is such a wouldn't she know, wouldn't she
have come to them and be like, Oh, they're trying
to get freaky.
Speaker 2 (25:54):
I'll come back later.
Speaker 1 (25:55):
First of all, would you want that? Would you want that? Like? Like,
let's say let's say we were we were all meeting
up and and RSELI was running late, and you suddenly
had a premonition that of the reason why she was
running late. Would you want to see that? Do you
want to know that, Oh.
Speaker 3 (26:09):
My god, Tony, what Tony been making a lot of what?
I don't know what?
Speaker 2 (26:19):
Rsel?
Speaker 6 (26:19):
What would I want to know that Rsel's late because
she's getting freaky.
Speaker 3 (26:23):
I'm doing I'm not doing the laundry.
Speaker 4 (26:26):
Probably you see me with my bowl right before I'm
like running and eating lunch before I get on here.
Speaker 1 (26:35):
So, Michael Madis, would you want to see that vision
before we all get together? Or no? Would you want
to feel that?
Speaker 6 (26:42):
But when you're that, when you're clairvoyant, it's not that
you want to see stuff.
Speaker 2 (26:45):
The stuff just comes it you.
Speaker 4 (26:48):
But we established that that Susan because she's not a medium,
she's a psychic. Remember, she's studying.
Speaker 3 (27:02):
To be a meeting medium. Yes, so to me that
means that she has, you.
Speaker 4 (27:14):
Know, she's always had senses, so she has sense of
things of you know, she's she herself said, she has
premonition of things to come, things that are not quite right.
I would imagine that things are very right in Johnny
and Chanelle's world right now. So maybe she's just not
getting vibes off that or maybe right in the world
(27:35):
over here, things are not right in the world over here.
Speaker 1 (27:39):
I mean, she's I think as of right now, she's
just feeling a lot of things. But maybe she hasn't
put them together because even you know, when she went
over to Marlene's it was like, oo oh, doctor Marlena avions,
whatever is happening to you? It's getting worse. So maybe
certain feelings are more overwhelming than anything. But and someone
(28:03):
mentioned I think it was a Nett Thompson that was like,
she's surprised she hasn't felt that Rachel shot her. She
hasn't been around Rachel. Sure, so so I think if
if maybe she like Rachel was like high Susan, she'll
be like vampire, you love vampire. So yeah, maybe, But
(28:29):
then but then again, I don't know. I mean, no
one knows how how any of that stuff works.
Speaker 4 (28:35):
I will say she does need to back off of Marlena,
because you can only tell someone the same thing ten
times before they start to get really annoyed.
Speaker 1 (28:46):
Yeah, or it seems that threshold This week it seems like, well,
let's be honest, Marlena has reached that threshold with a
lot of people. Dating back to John's funeral, Yep, y'all
remember the hug that was Yep?
Speaker 2 (29:08):
But even Pauline and Hope.
Speaker 1 (29:11):
Yeah, but I but I feel like Susan is onto
something like especially right now when her and Sarah are
trying to figure out what's wrong with her. I do
feel like Susan knows something, she just can't quite put
it together as to what is happening.
Speaker 8 (29:33):
Ye.
Speaker 4 (29:33):
Yes, but then in that case, back off until you
can sense more clear answers. Don't just come back to
the woman with the same information and saying.
Speaker 3 (29:45):
It's getting worse and getting worse.
Speaker 4 (29:47):
What does that accomplished?
Speaker 2 (29:48):
What is getting worse?
Speaker 6 (29:50):
If you know what the what? When you know what
the what is? Then and then what the what? When
you know what the what is?
Speaker 1 (29:58):
What the what?
Speaker 2 (30:00):
With the what?
Speaker 7 (30:00):
When you know what the what is, come back, come
back and talk till then come back.
Speaker 2 (30:07):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (30:08):
When you figure out what the what is, then you
come back and talk to me. Okay, what is what
the what is? You know what the what is? What
the what? Yeah, those words brought to you by the
kind folks here edition days expeditiously, stiously.
Speaker 3 (30:32):
How do you feel about Johnny's new career.
Speaker 1 (30:35):
Change, child girl, Johnny is the only person like okay,
let me, okay, let Okay, you know it's so so
we're supposed to disband this belief, right, Let's just say
we're out in the real world, Honey. There are folks
out here that can't get a job, whether they are
on LinkedIn indeed or walk in door to door turned
(30:59):
in their resumes. Johnny has kept the job through a
through a trial that was that had him going for
attempted murder m h. And then he gets off the
trial and someone goes, Johnny Demara, we make a good
(31:22):
professor here at Salem. You let's give him a call, like, who, girl,
you live in Salem? You ain't seen you? Everybody pick
up the same iPad with the spectator on it, Oh,
Johnny Demarra. I don't think we should, but you know what,
(31:46):
if you like it, I love it. Professor Johnny Giovanni,
John Paul Roman, Brady Demara.
Speaker 6 (32:00):
And they're going to work around his schedule. They're going
to be very accommodating to the schedule.
Speaker 8 (32:04):
Mira.
Speaker 6 (32:05):
I'm like, what my reaction to that was, what is this? Yeah,
I just you know, I'm I'm I guess I'm curious
to see where what the intent of this is. But
it's like I would I guess I think I would
(32:26):
rather see him. I feel like I don't know, because
there were clear they were clearly setting up a new
you know, Salem You storyline this week, talking about the
kids going back to school, where they're going to live
in the dorms, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
So they're setting that up, and now are they going
to rope him into this where I would feel like
(32:46):
I would rather see him more in the Demurra storyline
than the Titan Demera storyline rather than roping him in
with the Salem You crowd.
Speaker 4 (32:58):
I wouldn't because he is so not corporate, so to
try to mold him into that feels just so like
he just yeah, he doesn't fit there.
Speaker 1 (33:11):
But it's it's remember it's not corporate. I mean it's
corporate in the sense of, yes, he's working for a corporation,
but he was doing exidently what what he likes to do,
which is marketing and content creating and and all of that.
So and and that's the job that we always said
that he should have. I mean, if he's not going
to make that film about his mama or grandmama, then girl,
(33:33):
we we got to see him doing something, yeah for
a hop skip in the jump.
Speaker 4 (33:39):
Yeah, but if you know, teaching film is a different muscle,
and if that gives him some kind of you.
Speaker 3 (33:45):
Know, create it's its own creative outlet.
Speaker 2 (33:49):
Yeah, yes, this is.
Speaker 1 (33:51):
Kind of weird.
Speaker 5 (33:51):
I feel like they're I feel like they don't have
a plot line for him at what Tightened Demera, So
they're like segueing him off to the with the younger people,
but also keeping him, like you said, like they made
it a point to say he's keeping the Titan de
mirror job. So it's like, what are you doing with him?
Like you you It just seems like they don't have
(34:13):
anything for him to do over there, or they don't
want to write a plot line for him over there.
Speaker 2 (34:17):
So they're putting in with the kids, but also like
retaining the He's still that Tightened de Mirra, He's still there. Yeah.
And then how how how will he be involved with
the Salem you drama?
Speaker 5 (34:30):
Like, well, he's already, oh, we already he's already who's professor?
He's Tates and Sophia and Holly's actually all three?
Speaker 1 (34:39):
Would he? Yeah, he hasn't even accepted the job yet. Well,
I mean, but you you just assume that all three
of them will be in a film class.
Speaker 2 (34:49):
Well they are. That's how they're going to do it,
you know. They they talked about it on Friday Show.
Oh oh that's oh that's right when they were all
at the pub.
Speaker 4 (34:59):
It's an easy freshman credit. So yeah, they're all going
to be in the class.
Speaker 1 (35:06):
And he's like, what it was on? Yeah, it was
on anyway, So uh was there Is there anything else
about Kristen's confession that we need to go over and discuss.
Speaker 4 (35:26):
Really, it's more of the same of like kind of
like who's gonna who's gonna figure it out first that
Kristen didn't actually.
Speaker 2 (35:34):
Shoot questioning and.
Speaker 1 (35:37):
Leo well everyone, well there are a few people because everyone's.
Speaker 4 (35:43):
Like, yeah, not writing except.
Speaker 1 (35:51):
Yeah, somebody somebody else is going to pull him in
mm hmmm mm hmmm.
Speaker 5 (35:57):
And Gwen, it's kind of like teetering, like I'm the
way they're using her. Here's like, yeah, she's in and
out a couple of different things. But I like meshing
her again with the demrs. And I feel like, yeah,
I'm gonna say friendship because that's what I think it is.
Speaker 2 (36:13):
I don't know if it'll go beyond that between who
her with EJ A lot.
Speaker 5 (36:18):
I feel like she's coming in and they're they're developing
some sort of at least a friendship or a family
fond or something.
Speaker 4 (36:25):
You know.
Speaker 2 (36:25):
I haven't I haven't brought this up.
Speaker 6 (36:26):
But I've been thinking this for like a month and
a half now and they haven't brought it up.
Speaker 2 (36:31):
So maybe it's not.
Speaker 6 (36:32):
But I was thinking that she had something to do,
she has something to do with EJ buying the hospital
when I originally thought that too, But I feel like
that would have been unless it's just a really slow
burn like Cat and Chad, Like, I feel like if
that was the case, it would have been exposed by now.
Speaker 2 (36:51):
But I think so too. I did that too.
Speaker 6 (36:54):
I thought she was the silent partner, like that's where
she got yeah exactly, that's where he got the money from,
because all she was talking about was how much money she.
Speaker 2 (37:00):
Ad from Dimitri.
Speaker 8 (37:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (37:03):
But but and I guess it still could happen, but
they're taking a long time with the with that reveal
if that's the case.
Speaker 2 (37:12):
Mm hmm, yeah, mm hmm.
Speaker 1 (37:18):
All right.
Speaker 6 (37:19):
I just laughed when when Emily O'Brien, Brian's excuse me
when Emily, When when Emily is playing.
Speaker 2 (37:27):
Gwen and she gets really.
Speaker 6 (37:28):
Upset and loud, I just have to laugh. She plays
it so so well.
Speaker 1 (37:33):
Matty use such a Wandka and her nord Strom Rack bags.
Speaker 2 (37:42):
Even though it said Saxon's Saxons.
Speaker 6 (37:46):
Saxons like the north Strom Rack, I always thought Saxton's
was like.
Speaker 2 (37:49):
No, It's like it's like, it's like the Bloomys of Salem.
Speaker 3 (37:55):
Hey, what's wrong with nor.
Speaker 2 (37:58):
No, nothing wrong with Nordstrom Rack.
Speaker 4 (38:00):
Not you, and I'm not you. I'm not I'm just
in general, they're like they were like, hat, come.
Speaker 6 (38:06):
On, you know, Leo's down at whatever. The Salem version
of Ross is yes, Clearance Rack, and he has the
nerve to just like north Storm Rack, like really.
Speaker 2 (38:19):
And then acting like he's it's probably something else.
Speaker 1 (38:22):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 2 (38:24):
An anyways, talks to Emily O'Brien e Obi.
Speaker 1 (38:30):
E Obi we love it, eob e ob g o
A t All right, everyone, let's move on to our
next top storyline, which is the boy is Mine.
Speaker 2 (38:47):
I like this, invigorated Sophia. I do too. At least
they're getting interesting now.
Speaker 3 (38:55):
BA sure regularly scheduled teen drama.
Speaker 1 (38:58):
But you know what, though, it's not it's not a
creepy like Jan Spears kind of obsession. It's more like,
it's more like if I were translating for Sophia, and
you know I love translating for Sophia. Every get ready, everyone,
this is where we cut the clip. I feel like
Sophia looks at Holly and is like, look, bitch, Tate
(39:25):
and I will always have something between us, a care
for each other because we share a baby, Okay, And
if I wanted your man, trust and believe I'm about
to have your man, and that's on period. But then
you got Holly looking back at her like, baby, I
(39:45):
don't care if you drop twins, triplets or quadruplets. That
man don't care for you like he does for me.
So I'm warning you now back up, wipe a table,
and go find another man, because he at e belongs
to Okay.
Speaker 6 (40:08):
What was Sophia doing outside of the pub with the glasses?
Speaker 2 (40:13):
What so earlier in the week, when.
Speaker 6 (40:16):
Tate and Holly came to the pub and saw Sophia,
she was outside the pub and she had two glasses.
It was it was not explained why she was outside
of the pub with two glasses. And I'm like, for
all we know, there's no alfresco dining at the Brady Pub,
it's just the dining room outdoor seating.
Speaker 4 (40:39):
Assume that there might be, Well, they needed to explain that.
Speaker 6 (40:43):
I'm not going to assume that the Brady Pub has
outdoor seating that we have never seen and that never
has been referenced. This girl was outside the pub holding
two empty glasses, and I'm like, Okay, that needs to
be explained because that's weird.
Speaker 1 (40:58):
You don't know what's being on that camera frame when
they walk off. They could be going around the corner
to the outdoor seating. They need to explain that then, no,
or you know what, you know what it is, so
let me I'll explain it for you. Michael mannis that's
what I'm talking about. I'll explain it to everyone. So
this is what happened. So Sophia is in the Brady
(41:22):
Pub and she's clearing off a table and she looks
up right after grabbing the two empty glasses and she
notices Tate and Holly are coming through, and she said
went out the side door and was like, Holly, Tate
(41:42):
that's my explanation. You didn't like the outdoor seating, so
I had to give you something else.
Speaker 2 (41:51):
I don't like that either.
Speaker 1 (41:53):
Well, what do you like? Michael mannis expeditiously.
Speaker 3 (41:57):
Nothing right now, I'll fresco dining.
Speaker 1 (42:03):
I don't know. So I'm actually torn between this because
y'all know I am over Holly and Taate mm hmm.
Speaker 6 (42:11):
And they were gonna they were gonna try, they were
gonna try to get freaky in the Marlene's apartment again.
At least Tate stopped didn't isn't Tate the one that
stopped it and was like, I gotta go to work, and.
Speaker 3 (42:25):
You know, technically some more stopped it.
Speaker 2 (42:28):
That's right.
Speaker 1 (42:30):
Is that a snake in your pants? Or you didn't
have it to steamy?
Speaker 6 (42:33):
No?
Speaker 1 (42:33):
Hold, it was a snake.
Speaker 4 (42:37):
I feel like some'mores should get some extra mice for
that effort this week. Who's a good snake?
Speaker 8 (42:46):
Oh my god, y'all, I do not like No, Oh
my god, I do not like snakes. They make my skin.
Speaker 7 (42:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (42:57):
Hot tip for the for the pant house or whatever
whatever townhouse whatever they're they're all living in together.
Speaker 3 (43:06):
An extra fridge will be very helpful in the weeks
to come.
Speaker 4 (43:12):
Why because you need to said.
Speaker 3 (43:19):
Snake food and you don't want that next tier. Trust
what you.
Speaker 4 (43:29):
Don't want to open the freezer in the middle of
the night and see.
Speaker 2 (43:33):
That it would deter you from like some late night eating.
Speaker 3 (43:42):
That's true.
Speaker 1 (43:45):
Like all I keep picturing is like if I were
around Smores, which I wouldn't be, and he was having
uh a rodent for his eat. Just imagine myself standing
there being like.
Speaker 9 (44:01):
Ben, the two of us, we live no more. Oh
my god, both found what we were the.
Speaker 1 (44:12):
King for.
Speaker 3 (44:15):
Poor Ben. Don't name the mice, poor Ben.
Speaker 1 (44:19):
Oh my god, but god, I hate snakes. Oh, Tony,
aren't you from the South. Yes, but let me tell you,
I did not see a snake.
Speaker 2 (44:33):
Uh huh.
Speaker 1 (44:36):
No, No, Oh, like they're so oh.
Speaker 6 (44:48):
I used to see them over in Griffith Park when
I or at Runyon or Griffith when I would hike
over there, especially this time year when it was hot.
Speaker 2 (44:55):
Yeah, you'd be like.
Speaker 6 (44:57):
And then you would just see something out of the
corner of your and then right after you passed it
would like sliver sliver across.
Speaker 1 (45:06):
I'd be like, oh yeah, yeah, it'll.
Speaker 4 (45:13):
Be nice to Rachel because you don't want to piss
off the snake's owner.
Speaker 3 (45:17):
You don't know where she'll leave that thing.
Speaker 10 (45:19):
Well, if you piss off the snake's owner, you can
be dodging bullets. She knows how to use a gun, now, does.
Speaker 1 (45:35):
H AnyWho?
Speaker 4 (45:38):
Uh so the boy for now is Holly's and Sophia
should just leave him there since you know she had
no business getting near to anyways, and apparently everybody else
(45:59):
wants to be in her business now the second perstor
everybody wants to business.
Speaker 2 (46:06):
Is really running with that.
Speaker 6 (46:07):
Uh you you.
Speaker 3 (46:12):
Weird?
Speaker 2 (46:15):
So I'm gonna put my eyes on the whole thing
and talk to you. I'm business dude. Gez doesn't doesn't Wait?
What what is Brady doing for work right now? Does
he have work?
Speaker 3 (46:28):
Yes, he's the He's the CEO Basic Black.
Speaker 2 (46:32):
Why can't he focus.
Speaker 1 (46:33):
On that because Sophia said he instead of she?
Speaker 2 (46:39):
Anyway, Okay, Basic Black? Who's working there? Brady?
Speaker 3 (46:46):
I would just I would look.
Speaker 4 (46:47):
I I will admit, you know, Brady's heart is in
the right place, wanting to check that everything is on
the up and up with his grandchild. I would just
in his case, I would argue that he is investigating
the wrong baby mama at this point because he's so
(47:10):
damn worried about Sophia and her child, he's forgetting about
his own baby mama and his own child. I'm like,
take care of your own house before you start looking
at someone else's.
Speaker 2 (47:24):
There's also that.
Speaker 6 (47:27):
It's so weird and I don't and you know, it's
really a testament to I don't know what a testament
to something that we're defending Sophia who's actively keeping a secret.
Speaker 2 (47:39):
And loving to a bunch of people, and all.
Speaker 6 (47:41):
These people are doing is slowly figuring it out, and
we're against them figuring it.
Speaker 1 (47:46):
Out well because we just won't want them to leave
her alone.
Speaker 2 (47:53):
And I think that's it.
Speaker 6 (47:54):
At the end of the day, we feel like Sophia
may have actually made the right decision by and that
there would have been too much in other and outer interference,
even though as the father does have rights, yes, but
you know.
Speaker 1 (48:11):
What else, it's it's just the fact that we saw
that night as an audience. We saw how she how
what happened, We saw how she felt, we saw how
torn she was, We saw the decision that she had
to make by herself as a young woman, like watching
(48:32):
all that happen and then her looking out at the
firewords the window.
Speaker 6 (48:42):
They created enough empathy for Sophia that we're like, yeah,
but that she's just leave her alone.
Speaker 1 (48:48):
Yeah, leave her alone, but no, Brady gotta go pick
up on a hunch. And then even went to the
adoption the adoption woman, m h she might as well
have said, who baby? Who you said? What his name is? Like,
(49:08):
I almost hope that when they come back on Monday
and he's and he's you know, Brady's like, so, uh,
I'm just here to check on an adoption for Tate Black.
Tate baby. Who is that? Oh you said black Tate Black?
(49:29):
Got it? Yes, I have a record of uh yes,
Sophia Choy is the mama. Uh yeah, I can't disclose
that information to your baby. All right, you have a
good day. And then as Brady's like, oh, well, okay, leaves,
she turns around. It's handled.
Speaker 3 (50:01):
I'm just saying, that's exactly how I wanted to go.
Speaker 4 (50:07):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 1 (50:09):
I mean, I love how I paint out all these
wonderful scenes.
Speaker 4 (50:12):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 1 (50:14):
They happened right here, right here in my brain. You
know what this part of the brain is frontal lobe.
I thought of that expeditiously.
Speaker 8 (50:28):
Hmm.
Speaker 4 (50:29):
Has someone been to the Science Museum with Hailey?
Speaker 1 (50:33):
Yeah, you should.
Speaker 4 (50:36):
It's a lot of fun and it's free.
Speaker 3 (50:42):
The best things on life.
Speaker 2 (50:43):
Are free air conditioning. Maybe I'll go tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (50:45):
There is lots of air conditioning and it's free.
Speaker 1 (50:48):
Do you not have a house?
Speaker 2 (50:51):
I do?
Speaker 3 (50:52):
It's just not is and that he can turn on.
Speaker 4 (50:56):
Remember he said that, Remember he said this.
Speaker 2 (51:02):
It's just like I know it was it.
Speaker 1 (51:05):
It's like it's like she said it Michael last week.
Speaker 2 (51:11):
I know because I want paid for it. That's why. Yes, yes,
I feel like the whole.
Speaker 1 (51:18):
The whole dialogue was very like what.
Speaker 4 (51:23):
No, this is me saying, go somewhere where there's free
air conditioning that you get in for free.
Speaker 3 (51:31):
I shall mm hmm, all right, is that it for
this one?
Speaker 1 (51:41):
There were some other people, Wait, there were some other
people involved, but like I don't know how they were involved.
Speaker 4 (51:48):
Just Steve like Brady, not minding his own business. Kayla
like Brady, teetering on her hippocratical with minding her own
but not minding her own business.
Speaker 5 (51:59):
I love the Kayla scene. I thought that was a
nice way to get around her trying.
Speaker 2 (52:07):
To say something but.
Speaker 5 (52:09):
Also keep you know, yeah, I think I think it was.
I think she's she's in the clear there.
Speaker 4 (52:16):
Nice dodge, nice dodge, Kayla. Yes, that's why I said.
Speaker 3 (52:22):
She's she's teetering.
Speaker 11 (52:25):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 1 (52:27):
Wait which.
Speaker 4 (52:30):
True?
Speaker 1 (52:30):
Yeah, we talked about we can talk about it here. Well,
Steve just was like, baby, I can't take your case.
Oh no, that's next week. Oh no, that's next Okay, No.
Speaker 6 (52:42):
Because I was gonna go there too, because there's something
I actually want to give. I was like, oh, black Patch,
good job, you actually figured it out for something. But
that's in the next story line.
Speaker 1 (52:52):
Okay, Well, then let's just go to the next storyline.
Shall we fill up kiaks lover friend business? Can I
can I ask a question? Yeah? M hm no. After
(53:16):
seeing interaction with Philip and Bell and Philip and Gabby,
who do we prefer Philip with Gabby?
Speaker 6 (53:30):
If it's only if the choices are one of those two,
then I would like to see an exploration with him
and Gabby and I.
Speaker 2 (53:38):
Keep the friendship. Yes, I really enjoyed. I enjoyed their
their reference.
Speaker 1 (53:44):
We played hooky.
Speaker 4 (53:46):
Yeah, yeah, they haven't been married in twenty years. We're
over it. It's fine that they're friends. It's actually great
that they're friends.
Speaker 1 (53:56):
Can I can I say something? And I don't want
this to sound bad, but I just remember this thought
mm hmm. And because we share, I'm gonna share I
for some reason. And this is so nitpicky and very
(54:17):
like side notice I did not like that blue top
that Bell had on.
Speaker 5 (54:25):
Oh hmm. It was a different look for her.
Speaker 1 (54:28):
I felt like the color was great, but I did.
But when when I as I was watching, as I
was looking at at her in it, my my first
thought was, like, I don't really like that on her,
and then my second thought was it feels more like
something Maggie would wear.
Speaker 5 (54:46):
It wasn't the most flattering. It was a little older.
Speaker 1 (54:50):
Yeah, Like like I like, I felt like the color
like look great on her, like that that color blue
was like great, but I was It's just like it's
so like it's too much here, like like maybe if
like it was like cut and then it maybe if
(55:12):
the ruffle went this way rather than to the side
like it was.
Speaker 5 (55:15):
Just I was for a day off, you know what
I mean, Like like she could have honestly still went
to court in that outfit or a day at the
office like they I think sometimes I think someone's mentioned
this before, I know, if it was in the chat or.
Speaker 2 (55:31):
Whatever, that they.
Speaker 5 (55:33):
Sometimes they dress her a little too matronly, and it's like,
you have to remember she's still young ish, Like, yeah,
she has a grown daughter and she's been on the
show forever, but sure character.
Speaker 2 (55:44):
Is still young ish.
Speaker 5 (55:46):
Yeah, yeah, I guess her a little sometimes a little
too matronly.
Speaker 2 (55:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (55:52):
I love Martha Madison. We all do.
Speaker 4 (55:56):
Oh we know we love her, no, then we and
we love her and we also see all the work
that she's put in the gym, and so we know
that Martha has what it takes to pull off some
very flattering as leisure wear.
Speaker 1 (56:09):
Yeah, m anyway, sorry, I just I just had that,
like the.
Speaker 6 (56:13):
Top could have just been a little more fitting and
flattering to her.
Speaker 1 (56:18):
Yeah. With that also being said, uh, I find something
interesting about Philip and Gabby, and I just liked that.
We we saw the history that Bell and Philip have
and just like the the the trust that they have,
(56:44):
you know, because they have been through a lot. People
have also mentioned that he finally mentioned his leg, which
is great. We all know that it's still fake.
Speaker 4 (56:53):
Well also mentioned his his combat history, which is something
that I think a lot of people forget that he
has years and years and years. This just this last
died in a mental health facility. Was not his first
go around there. He has had issues with mental health
for years. First with just just the burden of being
(57:14):
Victor Sun alone is a mental health issue. But then
he did he he you know, and he he just
randomly lose his leg. He was He's a combat veteran,
you know, So putting all of that together and then
saying finding himself in this place in his life of
like I don't know what I'm supposed to do next. Yeah,
(57:35):
and his one of his oldest and dearest friends standing
right there saying I don't either.
Speaker 1 (57:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (57:44):
I think it was an earned scene between these two.
And I think we talked, you know before, like we
miss the time when they would have male and female
friends on the show and nothing was romantic. It was
strictly platonic, and so it was nice to sort.
Speaker 2 (57:59):
Of see that.
Speaker 1 (58:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (58:01):
I have to say I was surprised about the Gabby thing.
I know we saw it in the preview, but I
thought it was going to be one of those where
they wake up, but nothing happened. Maybe you know, they
just share the same bed so to see, so to
hear them acknowledge that they actually slept together, and then it,
you know, it ended very quickly. They did it really
too much talking about it. So it's like, I'm curious
to see how each of them approaches this.
Speaker 1 (58:23):
Now.
Speaker 2 (58:25):
It just kind of lacked.
Speaker 6 (58:29):
Like if it had been her, like after the scenes
with her and Xander, if it had been her and
Xander that you know, woke up together without us seeing,
Like we didn't see did we see even see Philip
and Gabby like out to dinner or anything, So.
Speaker 2 (58:43):
We didn't see the date. We didn't see the.
Speaker 6 (58:45):
Leading up to them. We didn't even see them, like
we saw them make the plans.
Speaker 5 (58:50):
Maybe yeah, and they were going to go to dinner
or lunch or something and then lunch turned into dinner
or and dinner turned into.
Speaker 2 (58:57):
Yeah, we just didn't see any of that. We just
it just happen.
Speaker 6 (59:00):
And yeah, there's just a disconnect with that for me,
Like I'm not completely on board yet, but yeah.
Speaker 2 (59:09):
We'll see where it goes, I guess.
Speaker 6 (59:11):
But the scene that got me that was the Ari
her with Ari and how she was like sneaking background.
Speaker 4 (59:17):
Oh oh, oh, oh oh, Miss Ariana Grace Horton, your
mother is a grown woman. I know you're eighteen, but
you're barely eighteen.
Speaker 3 (59:29):
Your mother is a grown woman.
Speaker 4 (59:30):
Who she chooses to spend her nights with is none
of your business.
Speaker 1 (59:37):
But I would have did the same thing.
Speaker 5 (59:39):
Yeah, I mean I think I worry about someone whether they're.
Speaker 3 (59:44):
Yeah, no, yeah, no. So then then established ground rules.
Speaker 4 (59:47):
If everybody is staying in the home, then somebody sends
a quick text or a phone call saying I'm not
going to be home tonight.
Speaker 2 (59:53):
The end, Yo, I'm getting some d C in the morning.
Speaker 3 (59:59):
Yes, the end. You're not entitled to anything else because
that's your mother.
Speaker 1 (01:00:06):
But still, like, you know, like if if I was
staying at my mom's house and she was out all night,
I would shoot her a text and be like, where
are you at? And then I probably playfully like if
I saw her walk in, I'd be like, oh, so
you think you've grown? You could just stay out all night?
Where are you being? What you been doing? Now? Granted
(01:00:27):
she will look back at me and say, baby, I'm
grown mm hm, and I'm home safe, and that's all
you need to know.
Speaker 2 (01:00:35):
My point exactly now, we.
Speaker 1 (01:00:38):
Might like, well, depending on why my mom was out late,
which is probably like not the same reason why Gabby
was out late, but my mom would probably eventually be like, oh,
you know, I was just out, you know, with the girls,
and then we you know, decided to just you know
the dust. You'll fill in the blanks. But that's because
(01:01:01):
my mom and I have a great rapport with each other.
Speaker 4 (01:01:03):
Yes, and you're you know, also some years beyond Ariana
and pay your own bills and stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:01:12):
I think that I probably would have done the same thing.
Speaker 4 (01:01:15):
Oh no, there's then there's a little miss Ariana be like,
you know, where have you been? Here's the thing, I
pay the bills. You're barely out of high school.
Speaker 3 (01:01:28):
I'm over here.
Speaker 1 (01:01:29):
You just got your degree and you know everything. I
don't know. It's a cute girl's moment, but I don't know.
Its just but it's also just like, let's not give
too many details, Okay, it be like I was, I
was out being an adult. That's all you need to know.
Speaker 5 (01:01:52):
Boom, Yeah, especially yeah, I mean yeah, outside of the
familial connection that I slept.
Speaker 2 (01:01:59):
With your great uncle.
Speaker 5 (01:02:00):
Yeah, keep it, keep it. If we're already too incestuous,
we can we can keep it from that.
Speaker 1 (01:02:07):
Yeah, mm hmmm.
Speaker 2 (01:02:17):
Mm hm mm hmm.
Speaker 1 (01:02:22):
But good for Gabby.
Speaker 2 (01:02:25):
That's all we have to say about this, I mean
pretty much. So okay, so so, but.
Speaker 6 (01:02:32):
Then we have to go we have to talk about
the Titan de Mirror part of it. So this is
where I want to give black Patch some props because
they actually figured something out through the letter that they
the ink on the letter was analyzed and they found
out that the ink, the ink wasn't available when Victor
(01:02:54):
supposedly wrote that letter.
Speaker 4 (01:02:57):
But should we give Steve credit for this because it
seems like we should be giving Paul credit for this.
Speaker 6 (01:03:03):
Well true detective detectively. Yeah, and so you know, hey,
you know, I'm giving Steve a win. You know, the
black Patch wins are few and far between. So I'm like, okay,
good work, you know, nice job. And yes, Paul, good,
you know, a good job to you know, taking a
(01:03:24):
break from not kissing his husband.
Speaker 2 (01:03:26):
Appreciate that something.
Speaker 1 (01:03:39):
So then so then.
Speaker 6 (01:03:40):
Gabby's solution, Okay, So then Steve was like Steve told
Steve told Gabby that he couldn't help her, right, and
it's because he talked because of the conversation with Stephanie,
and he figured out that Stephanie knew something and blah
blah blahh So, now Gabby like that record or pen
(01:04:01):
and we'll see what it picks up. I kind of
liked that part that she. I was like, that's kind
of that to me, feels like kind of like nineties days,
like hiding a recorder soap opera, Like, let's go back
to what worked hiding hiding a recorder, which I guess
they technically did with EJ.
Speaker 2 (01:04:24):
But yeah, so we'll see.
Speaker 6 (01:04:27):
So so Gabby's still decided that she's gonna go rogue
and still get the goods.
Speaker 4 (01:04:32):
Yeah, unlike in the nineties, I feel like this is
something that is easily accessible on Amazon.
Speaker 2 (01:04:38):
Oh I'm sure would you say, sorry.
Speaker 4 (01:04:43):
That the that the recording device you planned is like
easily accessible on Amazon.
Speaker 6 (01:04:48):
I was about to say she got it at radio shack,
and I was like, that's not a thing.
Speaker 2 (01:04:55):
Yeah, it would be definitely on Amazon.
Speaker 5 (01:04:58):
And trying to keep this plot secret like now another
person knows, you know, it's like okay, now Steve knows,
like he's yeah, he's theoretically keeping it a secret, but yeah,
this and then Kayla is sort of phishing around, you
know how long unto she knows. It's like the secret
is just getting bigger and bigger and bigger.
Speaker 1 (01:05:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:05:17):
So in terms of the characters, pretty much everybody that
should know knows. They're just trying to keep it a secret.
Speaker 6 (01:05:23):
Now from like the people looking into the like, who
are they trying to keep.
Speaker 2 (01:05:29):
This to stake? Gabby and TONI essentially Gaby an TONI Oh,
because Gaby and TONI don't know, Okay, got.
Speaker 5 (01:05:34):
It and and sort of they they explained it, which
I thought was gonna because I think people were, like,
I loved Stephanie's her like solution was to name him
officially co CEO, officially, give him half the money, all
of that stuff, so that if it does or when
it does come out, you've legitimized him, and so you're
(01:05:57):
you're you're sort of stopping the outrage of it all, saying, Okay, yeah,
the the will was a fake.
Speaker 2 (01:06:03):
But I love my brother. I gave him half. Any way,
We're all good, we're running, you know what I mean.
Speaker 5 (01:06:09):
I thought that was sort of a brilliant idea, even
though Xander seems very very resistant, I know, and now.
Speaker 6 (01:06:14):
I'm at the point where I'm like, Xander, just do it,
just it makes sense.
Speaker 2 (01:06:18):
Just get over your ego.
Speaker 6 (01:06:20):
Do it, and then everything that just might solve everything,
everything put to bad, no one will question anything. Just
And he almost seemed to be somewhat coming around to it.
Speaker 4 (01:06:30):
Yeah, I think he's slowly realizing that his issues with
Philip are not an issue with Philip problem. They're an
issue within myself problem.
Speaker 3 (01:06:41):
And Alex continuously surprises me.
Speaker 4 (01:06:45):
And I feel like, guys, I was so resistant, tell
you know, I was like I was not on the
Alex and Stephanie bandwagon for the longest time.
Speaker 3 (01:06:58):
But I feel like the girl has done a lot
of good work on.
Speaker 4 (01:07:01):
This man where he's like just coming into his own
where he's just like very comfortable in life, very comfortable
in his relationship, very comfortable in business.
Speaker 3 (01:07:14):
Being like the number two definitely suits him.
Speaker 4 (01:07:17):
And I will say, you need that person in like
a hierarchy in business to be the number two, the
person who like sees all the fires and knows how
to put them out effectively.
Speaker 6 (01:07:28):
So that could be a potential storyline like down the
road where like Alex tries to overtake from If Xander
and Phillips start doing shit that he doesn't like, he
could potentially try to take number two, could try to
become number one.
Speaker 3 (01:07:43):
I would not like that. I would not like that.
Speaker 4 (01:07:47):
I feel like that's overplayed, it's been overdone. I'm much
more like this dynamic of him being mediator and really
just pointing out things to the two of them.
Speaker 2 (01:07:57):
Well, and you know what, you.
Speaker 6 (01:07:58):
Know what, to your point, we we kind of got
sick of the infighting. Yeah, so I don't want it
to go back to that either, because I haven't you know,
like the Demiras are fighting each other, then the Curiacus
were fighting each other, and that got kind.
Speaker 4 (01:08:11):
Of Yeah, No, it's it's it's good drama to have
the families fighting, families, not not each other.
Speaker 3 (01:08:19):
Have had the.
Speaker 4 (01:08:23):
Versus demeras, that's the tale as old as time. We
don't have a problem with that, but the constant infighting,
we're over it.
Speaker 2 (01:08:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:08:35):
I just feel like at this point, if Philip being
a part of Titan has not taken away from you,
then at some point you just get over the fact
that he lied to get to where he was because
(01:08:57):
it wasn't deviant. It would be one thing if if
he did it and then came in and was just
consistently causing chaos, but he hasn't been. He's been working
well with Xander, with Alex to preserve the legacy of Victor.
To hold on to this anger for this long, it's
(01:09:17):
just kind of like girl, Okay, like he's he's he's doing,
he's doing right by the company, he's working with you.
It was. It sucks the way that he came about it,
but at the end of the day, it works for everybody,
and it's essentially what Victor wants or would have wanted,
whether you want to admit it or not.
Speaker 4 (01:09:39):
I'll go one step further and say that I think
both of their problems is that they are well, it's
it's part ego, but I think it's a bigger part
of it is that they feel like they're constantly living
up to Victor's expectations. And you know, as much as
we love and more in Victor, he's gone. You know
(01:10:02):
what he's been. He's been gone for a long time.
He's not here to see you guys. You know, mess
up or fail or succeed or whatever. You know, at
the end of the day. You all you're doing is
fighting your own expectations, and that's what you should be
focusing on.
Speaker 5 (01:10:21):
And it's also I mean they don't they every once
in a while they'll admit this, But it's Victor's fault.
This is all Victor's fault.
Speaker 2 (01:10:28):
Oh yeah, if you really wanted.
Speaker 5 (01:10:30):
To be the patriarch like he claimed he was, he
would have had all his children on one accord. He
would have made sure all his children loved each other
and had good relationships.
Speaker 2 (01:10:41):
He wasn't interested in any of that, unfortunately.
Speaker 6 (01:10:43):
And he would have made sure that all of them
were properly. He would have made sure all of them
were properly taken care of in the event of his demise.
Speaker 2 (01:10:53):
Apparently did not.
Speaker 1 (01:10:57):
Yeah, anyway, is there anything.
Speaker 4 (01:11:04):
Else I would say? Out of all of our main storylines,
I think this is the one I'm looking forward to
the most, seeing where the Kuriocus family and all of
its branches go moving forward. Nothing but potential here.
Speaker 2 (01:11:23):
Hmm.
Speaker 5 (01:11:24):
I'm still kind of curious about the Tony Gabby stuff.
I feel like it's I feel like the fill up
forgery is not going to be the thing. I think
the assault is going to be the thing the lynchpin,
because I feel like they're they're giving us solutions to
the forgery.
Speaker 2 (01:11:40):
That makes sense, and.
Speaker 5 (01:11:41):
That would I don't think the demir Is, I don't
think they have a strong enough case to fight the
forgery if Xander signs over half the company. I think
they have more of a case if they find out
Xander attacked fill up, because then they can pursue that.
Speaker 2 (01:11:57):
I mean, however, they you know, if they.
Speaker 5 (01:11:59):
Get a confession out of him or something with this
reporting or whatever, like, that's that's jeopardizing him going to jail,
that's jeopardized it tight. And I feel like that's more
the lynch pin than this than the forgery.
Speaker 4 (01:12:11):
M Yeah, I agree.
Speaker 1 (01:12:14):
But her her testing out the pin and then first
of all uses a pin like that that pend is
so big and like people use, you know, small, because
she held up this contraption. Here's a pin for you.
Speaker 2 (01:12:34):
Here's a pen that's a camera flash.
Speaker 1 (01:12:40):

If any of you guys are fans of the Bold
and the Beautiful, he has a lot of a lot
of good stuff from that show. A lot of them
like updated, a lot of updates, a lot of new
content about the bold and beautiful.
Speaker 3 (01:14:18):
Yeah, they just moved studios.
Speaker 2 (01:14:20):
Because they moved studios.
Speaker 6 (01:14:22):
And then they were at Anika's bachelorette party that she
had mm hm and he and Tammy were there, so
they were able to get a lot of good bold content.
Speaker 2 (01:14:31):
If you're into bold, bold.
Speaker 7 (01:14:34):
Content.
Speaker 4 (01:14:38):
That's the And before we move on, I would like
to say for the record that I have found the
spy pen that Gabby used and it's available for thirty
and eighty seven cents on Amazon.
Speaker 6 (01:14:54):
I mean it's just a dictation pen, right, Like, it's
probably just it's probably meant to be a dictation pen
so that you're like, if you want to speak a
note instead of writing one and then it sinks to
your phone.
Speaker 2 (01:15:07):
It's not meant toy device.
Speaker 3 (01:15:10):
Right I.
Speaker 4 (01:15:13):
I'm not a spy, so I can't say. All I
can say is that, yes, you can get an eyems on.
Speaker 3 (01:15:20):
It can't confirm I.
Speaker 6 (01:15:22):
Would I would have more faith than Rselli and black
Pat Well, maybe not after that they've actually figured something
out this week, but I feel like RSSELI has enough
connections in like you're part of town that you would
be like the black Patch of.
Speaker 2 (01:15:45):
Black Patch.
Speaker 1 (01:15:50):
Let's go on to our tidbits. Everybody justin Leerrold is
the only person that does not participate fully in the foolishness.
He's like, let's get on because I have to do okay,
I have to record another Those were the days extended
and I don't have time for this. I'm busy right there,
(01:16:15):
New Besties, it's our tidbit.
Speaker 3 (01:16:20):
Whene is so desperate for friends?
Speaker 1 (01:16:25):
What is it about Cat that makes every like? Are
they like? Are they trying to build.
Speaker 9 (01:16:35):
Cat is?
Speaker 5 (01:16:36):
Because she has such an invigorating storyline with Chad. Yes,
they need to give her something else to do.
Speaker 4 (01:16:42):
Well. I think that they're waking up to Cat's charms
in terms of and this is where I do think
that the direction they took her in to make her
a spy actually does work, because her personality is kind
of disarming in that sense where she seems goofy. She
seems very earnest and honest. Uh So, she doesn't seem
(01:17:08):
like she she's very unguarded. She doesn't seem like she
has any secrets left kind of a thing. So of
course she's put that into the universe and immediately like
she senses things about people.
Speaker 3 (01:17:22):
One is desperate for friends.
Speaker 4 (01:17:23):
Well, cozy up to goe EJ needs some extra help
and he doesn't seem to hold any grudges with me.
Speaker 3 (01:17:29):
I'll go cozy up to EJ. You know it's working
for her.
Speaker 1 (01:17:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:17:34):
Also, you hire Adela McCord, you're paying for Anneli McCord.
You should not have her in scene after scene with
one scene partner in the story.
Speaker 6 (01:17:43):
The storyline that's going exactly, that's going negative miles an
hour exactly.
Speaker 5 (01:17:50):
Yeah, this is what they should have done with her
when they brought her on.
Speaker 6 (01:17:55):
Yeah, I'm curious how this, you know, friendship relationship is
how they're gonna how they're gonna involve this because they
work well together. And you know, I'm a fan for
anything that puts Gwen on the screen right now, so
so yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:18:14):
I don't mind this friendship.
Speaker 6 (01:18:16):
Actually, and Anna annalyin McCord when we interviewed her, mentioned
that she was gonna there, that she would have an
ally and somebody she.
Speaker 2 (01:18:26):
Wouldn't mention it.
Speaker 6 (01:18:27):
But then we we all kind of thought like, oh,
we knew Emily at that point, We knew Emily O'Brien
was coming this one, and so we you know, we're
able to.
Speaker 2 (01:18:36):
So this is the call. This is now the culmination
of what she said.
Speaker 5 (01:18:39):
Yeah, it's a nice parallel because I mean, Gwen technically
is a demera, but there's we'll see how much loyalty
there is there, So she's not it's not like she's
betraying like Tony or In or something like that. If
she befriended them, I think it's different. Also, the stuff
with the Wrens, I think we'll come into play there.
You know, they're both sort of potsona and on auto
(01:19:00):
with them, and we'll see, you know, we'll see how
that changes or or or or or better yet, what
Julie's reaction is going to be with these two besties,
if she.
Speaker 3 (01:19:11):
Know what jewel Is reaction.
Speaker 2 (01:19:15):
Those I can't believe Abigail's wife.
Speaker 1 (01:19:20):
Whatever.
Speaker 5 (01:19:21):
And also it gives us some conflict with.
Speaker 3 (01:19:24):
Chad with Yes, that's what I'm more interested with.
Speaker 1 (01:19:27):
Yes, with her.
Speaker 5 (01:19:29):
Working on Oh I meant the one stuff, Yeah, the
stuff too, but I just thinking more.
Speaker 4 (01:19:36):
Big well yeah, yeah, her developing professional and personal more
professional personal relationships with people in Chad circle. Yes, that
automatically brings up conflict.
Speaker 1 (01:19:48):
Yeah. I also I think uh sitting here because they
remind us often that her she was she had surgery
to reconstruct her face and everything. But obviously she had
a pass. But I'm kind of wondering, like, Okay, what
is cats real pass? Mm hmm, Like what does she do?
(01:20:15):
What was she what was her goal? What were her dreams?
Who did she date? Did she date Baba Rett? You know, well,
there's still.
Speaker 4 (01:20:27):
Remember there is that ty little sprinkle of information that
we got that quick look at Sammy's photos.
Speaker 1 (01:20:36):
That was so long ago and it was never explored again.
Speaker 3 (01:20:40):
Yes, yeah, it's still dangling out there in the ether?
Speaker 1 (01:20:43):
Is it because I forgot about the dangle?
Speaker 5 (01:20:46):
But I think they might be circling back to it,
just the stuff this week, like you said, Tony then
bringing up that she has a different face and that
she she's talking about it with EJ who that might
be the Sammy connection there. So I'm I'm curious if
that's where they're going with it.
Speaker 1 (01:21:03):
And obviously what why does she want to work at
the hospital, So the girl was willing to work in
the cafeteria to stay at the hospital. No.
Speaker 6 (01:21:13):
They they This was explained to me by I thought
you guys last week because I was like, oh, well,
they were like, she wants to stay in the hospital
because that's what she's working on.
Speaker 2 (01:21:23):
With with rape Rafe. Yeah, they're investigating.
Speaker 6 (01:21:27):
How EJ bought the hospital and his private how he
got the money.
Speaker 2 (01:21:33):
They're investigating how he got the money to buy the hospital.
Speaker 4 (01:21:35):
Yeah, because they verified that he didn't get the money
from Demara, he got money of Stephan.
Speaker 3 (01:21:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:21:43):
Yeah, they kicked out Stefano's holdings because they've explained at
least her background as far as the ISA was that
she was an analyst. That she was that so it
was literally her job to look into finances and paperwork
and things like that. That she wasn't an in the
field agent. So working for Merline on the hospital gave
(01:22:04):
her access. Now working directly under EJ, it gives her
greater access.
Speaker 6 (01:22:09):
Direct access to the person they're investigating. So yeah, when
she was like with the whole cafeteria thing, like I
was like, oh, this, she wants to stay in the
hospital because that's where then she has an inside, some
sort of insight.
Speaker 2 (01:22:22):
She's an insider. She'll be an insider, not the cafeteria
serving sloppy Joe's.
Speaker 7 (01:22:29):
And oh, one of the scenes that tickled me the most,
and it was so insignificant, but it just made me
laugh because there was a conversation Kayla someone had I
think it was Kayla and Stephanie.
Speaker 2 (01:22:42):
Oh yeah, thinking all of the incidentals.
Speaker 3 (01:22:45):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 6 (01:22:47):
And then there was a moment I think it was
on Friday's episode where they showed Kayla try to poork up.
Speaker 12 (01:22:51):
A coffee and she was just like she was like,
this motherfucker taking away our coffee. Just so much because
I was like, oh, because they were talking about it
was a nice little moment. I don't know why that.
Speaker 4 (01:23:05):
Moment when you've been on your feet for a twelve
hour shift and all you want is some damn coffee
so you can drive home safely.
Speaker 1 (01:23:15):
Oh, it was just was just like, God, damn it, anyway,
go sit down. How you getting rid of stuff at
a hospital.
Speaker 6 (01:23:36):
He's not he's a different kind of businessman. He's not
you know, he's just looking at saving money. He's not
thinking of like why this would be necessary, why it's
a worthy expense to keep him.
Speaker 2 (01:23:50):
While he should look elsewhere. He's just looking at you know.
Speaker 6 (01:23:57):
He doesn't have the business experience that actual hospital ceo have.
Speaker 1 (01:24:05):
No all he worried about is where's my office? So
you don't need an office here. Nobody wants to see you.
Nobody wants to see you. I would have done that too.
I would have brought my own cure rig.
Speaker 2 (01:24:20):
That's what my mom.
Speaker 6 (01:24:20):
My mom used to do that when she would teach
school because she hated the coffee that the school provided,
so she brought her.
Speaker 1 (01:24:25):
Out and then anybody else that wanted in, Okay, two
dollars you brought, or you bring your own pod and
your own cup and clean up after yourself. Mhmm, what
a mess. And then it's like, what a what a rape?
(01:24:51):
And can't supposed to be working on.
Speaker 2 (01:24:54):
They're trying to they're.
Speaker 3 (01:24:56):
Trying to, was explaining it, Tony, Oh, Tony tired?
Speaker 13 (01:25:04):
Maybe turn the phone upside down and and you know,
then maybe you would know the answer to these questions
you're asking.
Speaker 1 (01:25:15):
Maybe maybe if I, if I, you know, did the
same while watching the show, I would you know, I
would I would just know. But that just suddenly back
in my head that I, you know, I was just like, wait,
what are they who are they trying to get? Is
it EJ? Missed? I told you all on Friday. I
(01:25:37):
literally was like, wait, what happened?
Speaker 2 (01:25:42):
And here we are, Well to answer your question.
Speaker 6 (01:25:46):
They're investigating because they found out that EJ did not
use the mirror money to buy the hospital, so they
are looking into who his I guess the benefactor would
be the who he got the money from, And earlier
in this show we said that we suspected it was Gwen,
but it hasn't been revealed yet, so we're not quite sure.
Speaker 1 (01:26:05):
I do remember that, but I'm also just kind of like, wow,
I really let's not have paid attention because I'm like, huh, well, this.
Speaker 6 (01:26:14):
Has also been going on for a while on the
show with very little movement, So it's one of those
things where it's one of those storylines where I can
see someone needing a refresher because there's it's just kind
of staying stagnant for a while and not making any forward.
Speaker 1 (01:26:31):
I think. I think it also happened so quick, like
all of a sudden, she was part of the recruited
by the FBI, and then you know her and Rave
had secret names and then and then I guess at
some point I was just watching it like okay, but
I was just like wait, what, like what mission are
we on? Because the mission of you and Chad have
(01:26:51):
been going on for so long that I've been like
ugh about that. And then I'm like is my brain
just shutting off when like you know, like they come
up and I'm just like whatever.
Speaker 6 (01:27:03):
Well, and there's also an at Thompson brought up with
something that I have forgotten that was brought up, the versavix,
that drug that kind of started this all that's kind
of been forgotten but brought up again this year, and
then his his rationale they wanted to you know, when
Titan and Demira wanted to buy the hospital, it was
because of vers evix and the potential of this drug.
(01:27:26):
And but now the question is like why why because
it would take years for the drug to make money.
Speaker 1 (01:27:31):
Right, But also like the doctor who who created versavix,
like he been gone since, like you know, since he
got there, so so we're not even thinking about versavix anymore.
And then now when it was brought up this week,
my next question was, so why did you want the
hospital because the versavix ain't been talked about since the
versavix was like taken, so like and then why are
(01:27:55):
you slashing all the like what like, can you just
give the hospital act?
Speaker 2 (01:28:04):
I'd like to return this please?
Speaker 1 (01:28:06):
Yeah, Like, where's your receipt?
Speaker 3 (01:28:09):
It's a lot of sweater.
Speaker 1 (01:28:13):
Oh, because it should be treated with such delight like
everything else in Salem. Do you know how many CEOs
they had in a week over at Demera before it
became Demyra Titan.
Speaker 4 (01:28:26):
Yeah, all the people who voted for EJ on the
board really should have looked at that one detail.
Speaker 2 (01:28:34):
We can't blame Maggie, we know she voted for.
Speaker 4 (01:28:37):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (01:28:41):
It's just a thing of like, well, why why do
we still want this hospital? Okay? And then in the
terms of the sweater, what if you bought the sweater
and then you put it on and it's just.
Speaker 4 (01:28:49):
Kind of like, I don't buy anything before trying it on.
Speaker 1 (01:28:55):
But what if you tried it on and then you
like were getting ready and then you walk across the
mirror and it was like, oh.
Speaker 3 (01:29:03):
Five second rule. If you don't love it within five seconds,
you don't buy it.
Speaker 1 (01:29:09):
Well, whatever, take your damn sweater back anyway? Do we
hope that Leo and Gwynn get back together as friends,
Gwendolen and mad No.
Speaker 2 (01:29:24):
I like them as adversary.
Speaker 6 (01:29:25):
Like I'm at least for now, I'm enjoying the It's
gonna get old in a minute, I know, but I
do think there's potential for them to be to be
friends again.
Speaker 2 (01:29:37):
But I right now I'm enjoying.
Speaker 6 (01:29:38):
The the adverse, very adversary adversary relationships, relationship they they
have with each.
Speaker 2 (01:29:48):
Other on the People you Love.
Speaker 5 (01:29:51):
It's getting old for me now. It's I feel like
they've also hinted at like each of them starting to
cave a little bit. There was that scene was that
last week or two weeks ago where they were in
the town square at the table and Leo was starting
to crack and then like he got nervous and then
like ran off and then you know he's spoken to
(01:30:11):
her before where she starts to crack, And so I
don't know, I like either either put them together or
like separate them.
Speaker 1 (01:30:18):
Now.
Speaker 5 (01:30:18):
I don't need like a week. I don't need a
scene a week of them just screaming.
Speaker 1 (01:30:23):
At each other. Yeah, because I mean, at this point,
I just feel like it wasn't Leo's fault that, like,
you know, I mean he was gay. Like, girl, what
where were you going to do about it?
Speaker 2 (01:30:33):
Yeah, there's there's fault. There's at fault with Leo. Yeah,
there's at fault with Leo.
Speaker 1 (01:30:39):
Yeah, I mean, yes, it wasn't Leo's fault he was gay.
Speaker 6 (01:30:44):
It was his fault that he actively carried on an
affair with him and kept it a secret from his
alleged best friend.
Speaker 1 (01:30:50):
True, but so much time has passed. Can we have
a conversation about it and move on? Because she got
the better end of the stack, she got all this money.
Speaker 5 (01:30:57):
Yeah, and they old also brought up the letter this
week again, which we see its false.
Speaker 6 (01:31:03):
I'm thinking, yeah, they need to bring that because yeah,
that letter didn't make sense to him. And you know,
I remember when it happened. It was like, oh okay,
he just wrote Leo off like that. There's something behind
that letter.
Speaker 3 (01:31:16):
Yeah, Dimitri did not write the letter.
Speaker 2 (01:31:24):
I totally think she's gotten stashed somewhere.
Speaker 4 (01:31:27):
Probably he hasn't stashed somewhere. I think someone has him
stashed somewhere.
Speaker 1 (01:31:35):
Megan m most in the submarine, man, do you think
do you think she's still down there? Do you think
she's like merged.
Speaker 2 (01:31:43):
Up to her. Now I think she's she's come up.
Speaker 4 (01:31:49):
Yeah, yeah, I was gonna ask if the submarine was yellow.
Speaker 1 (01:31:57):
All right, now that we've talked about the new best things,
let's tal about the boo really, shall we?
Speaker 2 (01:32:02):
Okay, when did this book get released? Like this week?
Speaker 1 (01:32:08):
Where were you? Michael Maddish? What they announced? The book
released like two weeks? Really didn't it?
Speaker 6 (01:32:19):
This was kind of a I was expecting, which I
guess it kind of makes sense that it wasn't a
big deal because they don't want or Stephanie doesn't want
her to be revealed as the author. So I guess
it makes sense that it wasn't like a big release.
It just seemed like it was, Oh, all of a sudden,
the book's out, and I guess I didn't realize that.
And there was no like at least some sort of
(01:32:41):
conversation maybe between alex and and Kate's disappeared again, so you.
Speaker 2 (01:32:47):
Know a big part of this and she there's been no.
Speaker 6 (01:32:51):
Kate for like a month, like a conversation about like, oh,
it's being today's the big day it's being released, and
then show people like seeing finding it at the bookstore
and what. But I feel like we didn't even get that.
It was just kind of Then suddenly Kate was texting
Alex the reviews and apparently they're all.
Speaker 11 (01:33:12):
Glowing everybody Abe, oh my gosh, Like, okay, Abe, that's
a good husband right there.
Speaker 1 (01:33:26):
But everybody is finding it hot and steamy, and apparently
Alex is gonna get patch his own copy. Stephanie was
looking like girl. But the person who really got a
good peak this week was Jada.
Speaker 4 (01:33:51):
I didn't she didn't get I mean, she didn't get
much of a peak though.
Speaker 2 (01:33:55):
I mean to me, I meant everyone else gets. I
thought there was yet there's gonna yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:34:00):
Exactly, well there was a She was like.
Speaker 4 (01:34:06):
To me, It's like, if it's something that I can
see at the beach, it's not that big a deal.
Speaker 1 (01:34:12):
See, the way that you look at things at the
beach is completely different than how we look at things
at the beach.
Speaker 3 (01:34:17):
How do you say it was a beach in Europe?
Speaker 1 (01:34:21):
It ain't got to be in beat a beach in Europe, Rogers,
Let me tell you. Let me tell you this. You
can see a lot just in a towel, hospedo or trumps.
Speaker 5 (01:34:34):
Yeah, I got the impression it was there was a print,
and that's what she was reacting to. There was a prick,
a print, a vp oh a vpl.
Speaker 4 (01:34:47):
Oh oh r.
Speaker 1 (01:34:51):
Don't be trying to cover your ass as if you've
never seen a vpl. Now she's gonna sit there quiet,
like she want to plead the fifth Girl in the words,
in the words of the Goddess herself, Brittany, you are
(01:35:11):
not that innocent.
Speaker 4 (01:35:16):
I think.
Speaker 3 (01:35:17):
I think what I love about this storyline is.
Speaker 4 (01:35:21):
How we're embracing that no, that we don't have to
all be innocent, that you know, it's grown folk reading
grown up people books, and you know, despite what the
masses think that this kind of this kind of novel
(01:35:42):
did not.
Speaker 3 (01:35:44):
Start with fifty shades of gray. Like, yeah, I took
it to a different level.
Speaker 4 (01:35:49):
But it was like like, these novels have been around
for decades, so like, stop we can we can stop
hiding them in the back now.
Speaker 6 (01:35:57):
I remember seeing them back in the eighties when I
would go to the pharmacy with my mom and there'd
be that book section with all the men's and all
of their you know, not all of their stuff out,
but like you know, the shirtless dudes and what I.
Speaker 2 (01:36:13):
Remember a lot of them.
Speaker 6 (01:36:15):
Yeah, I've been gay since I was like six years old. People,
we know there was never any question.
Speaker 1 (01:36:23):
We know.
Speaker 4 (01:36:26):
You.
Speaker 3 (01:36:27):
You were that kid that just stared at the front cover,
weren't you?
Speaker 2 (01:36:30):
Yeah, mm hmm those front covers were.
Speaker 1 (01:36:35):
Yeah. It's also it's also giving you had a JC
Panic catalog.
Speaker 2 (01:36:46):
Before I signed up for International Mail, I was just
gonna say National Mail. Oh, it's a clothing It's a
clothing line that I really like. Oh okay, that no
one ever bought from.
Speaker 6 (01:37:03):
Yeah, that's no one's ever heard of that, no one's
ever bought, but has half naked dudes all in it. Yeah,
about the clothing, same way Playboy was about the articles.
Speaker 1 (01:37:13):
Huh. And on that note, thank you guys so much.
That was your week of Days. And we're now gonna
go to our segments. We're gonna start with mine, which
is Tonty's official Please Snaps Awards. All right, so listen,
(01:37:39):
I'm gonna give my three Snaps Award to someone who
gave a warning and she meant it. No, Holly Jonas.
This reminds me of when Chanelle gave her the warning
about Johnny. Now, Holly is like baby. I learned from
(01:38:02):
Chanel and I see you. I see what you're trying
to do. You're not gonna get one over on me. Love,
Miss Sophia, don't mess with my man. He's mine. You
may have had him once, but I got him all
the time. He's mine. You better let her know, Holly.
(01:38:26):
So Miss Ashley pozimis Holly Jonas you get Tony's official
three Snaps Award, you better warn a bitch. And now
it's time for it.
Speaker 6 (01:38:46):
That all right, this caption, that photo come this week's caption.
That photo comes courtesy of Gwen Emily O'Brien. Uh and
this week's caption it goes to Meghan Bizarro member Meghan
Mazzara bizarre with her caption, I pray they never make
me wear that wig again.
Speaker 1 (01:39:04):
Ope?
Speaker 2 (01:39:07):
Ope, Ope.
Speaker 1 (01:39:09):
And that was tension there. And now let's take the
travel back in time to.
Speaker 5 (01:39:27):
All right, I take you back to nineteen August twenty seventh,
nineteen ninety three, when Bow and Billy shot on Rodeo
Drive paying an homage to Pretty Woman. This, of course,
is Lisa Rennett and Robert kilcokelly, who was playing Bow
at the time, and after the show you can check
out my latest Those are the days extend It where
I plead my case as to why I think Bow
(01:39:48):
and Billy are actually the preferred couple to each other.
So yeah, check that out. Yes, controversial statement as it
may be. August twenty seventh, nineteen ninety three.
Speaker 6 (01:39:59):
When Bow and Billy the shot the offer tail, it
should be Bo and Billy and Hope and Aiden.
Speaker 2 (01:40:05):
Mm hmm, I'll take open Patrick too, ohat or Patrick?
Speaker 12 (01:40:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:40:13):
Good call. Well, ladies and gentlemen, there's another fight rebuttal.
Speaker 3 (01:40:25):
What we're on? Time for that?
Speaker 2 (01:40:29):
Audible?
Speaker 1 (01:40:31):
Audible? You have a reboot?
Speaker 3 (01:40:36):
No, nobody is not.
Speaker 4 (01:40:39):
And I think we already and I think we already
had this conversation too.
Speaker 1 (01:40:42):
Can we shorten it? What don't you like about? Uh?
Speaker 2 (01:40:45):
You know, Tony?
Speaker 4 (01:40:46):
Oh, I was gonna say, I was gonna say, Tony,
you're asking me for to.
Speaker 3 (01:40:54):
Shorten some things not happening? Moving on?
Speaker 1 (01:40:59):
Well, Michael Madis, I guess we can log at log
that in something else. RSL hasn't answered. Funny a show
(01:41:20):
where we give your thoughts and opinions. And there's some
blank pages in your file mail.
Speaker 3 (01:41:28):
The Creative Air of Mystery. I read it as soon
as I said it.
Speaker 4 (01:41:38):
No mystery here.
Speaker 1 (01:41:42):
Well now what's time for It's again in.
Speaker 4 (01:41:46):
The segment I love because most of what you can
sense in the character is written all over their face.
This week's It's a Gift goes to Miss Stephanie Johnson
and her I am really struggling not to kill my
boyfriend right now face or or, as Dylan Matthews captions it,
no sex for you tonight.
Speaker 6 (01:42:07):
No, she wouldn't do that, go too far that no
matter what, but she will give him the look while
he's stuff in his face with pigs in a blanket.
Speaker 4 (01:42:17):
Mm hm. Also yeah, or I'm gonna make or I'm
gonna make you really suffer for it tonight.
Speaker 3 (01:42:27):
But also side note.
Speaker 4 (01:42:31):
I could I had to actually pause and rewind when
Alex said he had never heard of pigs in a blanket.
I just paused, rewind and I'm like, did he say what?
Speaker 2 (01:42:43):
I think he just said he didn't grow up that
boogie that. Oh yeah, I guess.
Speaker 3 (01:42:51):
Pigs in a blanket.
Speaker 2 (01:42:53):
Yeah, it's really yeah, boy. Angelica may not have but
definitely Adriane had.
Speaker 3 (01:43:07):
Yes, exactly, So good luck to Stephanie.
Speaker 1 (01:43:14):
I just want to note that we didn't have time
to find out why she didn't like the coupling, Yet
we had time to discuss why Alex never heard of
pigs in a blanket.
Speaker 3 (01:43:24):
Noted a much longer conversation.
Speaker 1 (01:43:27):
Now it's time for news and gossip. Today's news and
gossip will now be why RSLI doesn't like Billy and
I'm studying same news.
Speaker 2 (01:43:48):
The congrats to Rachel Boyd. She premiered her new.
Speaker 5 (01:43:52):
Horror movie Sick Puppy at the Frankfest Movie Festival in London.
Here she is at the hair looking gorgeous, set dresses
so flattering on her. And if you check out our
instagram at Rachel dot Boyd, she's been kind of chronicling
her her time over there in London, just having fun
and doing premier stuff, So go check that out.
Speaker 2 (01:44:12):
But yeah, big, big congrats to her.
Speaker 3 (01:44:14):
Oh she moved doctor London. She is in montmart In,
close to Paris. Oh such else.
Speaker 5 (01:44:22):
And congrats to Tamar Braun. Sort of a little bit
of bittersweet here she is joining Billy Flynn over at
yn R. She's set to make a filming next week
and will premiere in the fall. So if you were
holding on to the idea that we were getting Ava
back anytime soon. Probably not, you know, fingers crossed. We
see we see Tamba Braun as Ava sometime in the
(01:44:45):
future hopefully. But big congrats to her. I think this
was inevitable that she was going to get snatched up
by someone. I don't know why it wasn't days, but
that's a conversation for another day. But big congrats to Tamara.
You can see her out of YNR this fall.
Speaker 1 (01:45:00):
See how how beautiful that announcement was. She's been picked
up by YANR and she starts next week and we'll
see her in the fall.
Speaker 4 (01:45:12):
Next up, the stars of Days of Our Lives celebrated
National Dog Day. You can go to ad Day's Peacock
to see how your favorite Salemite celebrated the day with
their real life puts.
Speaker 2 (01:45:27):
Yeah, really beautiful, yeah and mixed up.
Speaker 5 (01:45:31):
We got a little bit of a preview here with
between head writers Paula Quickly and je Marie Ford. They
said down the little preview of Day's six days celebration
and to shoot. In addition to the preview that was
released a few weeks ago, we have a little context.
Speaker 1 (01:45:47):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (01:45:47):
We we saw some people in that preview.
Speaker 5 (01:45:50):
They have let us know that those that are returning
are Sammy, Eric, Eli, Launi, Marie Horton and Stephen Olsen
are back as well Lucas, Will, Paul and Andrew, and
that there is going to be a big umbrella storyline
centered around the hospital gala for in honor of Tom
Morton and that's going to kick off again, this big
(01:46:10):
umbrella storyline that will lead well into twenty twenty six.
So so yeah, welcome back. We have Well, they managed
to keep some of these the secret, so I'll give
it to them for that. So yeah, we'll see a
lot of these people over the next couple months return.
Speaker 4 (01:46:28):
Yes, And to their credit, we don't know when some
of these people are coming. Yes. Next up, Paul Telfer
will be celebrating his birthday with a dinner event in
New Jersey October twenty fifth. Please come, have dinner, do
photo ops, and have lots of labs as you celebrate Paul.
At last check, there were only twenty tickets left for

this intimate event, so if you are interested in you're

dot com, slash Star Image Entertainment.
