talking and I brought up some recent research that you know.

(12:55):
It was scientists. They found the plastic particles nestle inside
the arterial plaque, and again that's the stuff that clogs
your arteries. Also, this increases your inflammation throughout the body,
and those with this faced a sixty percent higher risk
of heart attack or stroke over the following years. And

(13:16):
some of the culprits here are hot beverages. So these
researchers they tested every single drink sample and they found
that microplastics in all of them, one hundred percent of them.
Hot tea contain nearly double the plastic content compared to
ice tea, and we're talking about particles that are so
small they cross the blood brain barrier. They also have

(13:40):
detected microplastics in testicular tissue, and these higher plastic levels
are linked to lower sperm count. They're showing up also
in placental tissue, meaning that each generation already has microplastics
flowing through their bloodstream. Now does this prove microplastics are

(14:02):
the sole cause of all disease, Of course not. The
science just doesn't work that way. But there's multiple red
flags and it's pointing towards chronic inflammation, cellular stress, in
disrupted hormone function, and these are all hallmarks of cancer biology.
So it's time to hit the brakes on exposure, especially

the kinds that we can easily avoid. So if we're
looking at ground zero, that's your kitchen. If we walk
through your kitchen together, because this is where most of
the damage happens. So I'm going to call out the
biggest offenders, and I want you to mentally check off
how many of these apply in your daily Routine's talk

about the microwave first. This is a non negotiable rule,
and I want every listener to repeat this back to me.
I will never heat foods or drinks and plastics, even
if that container screams microwave safe or BPA free. Those
labels are talking about warping or melting, not the particle shredding.

So these are two completely different issues. And as far
as leftover containers that are sitting in your fridge right now,
if they're in plastic, you need to transfer the food
to glass or ceramic before heating. And if you're packing
hot lunches, let the food cool before sealing in any
container and consider upgrading to glass with silkne lids. Let's

(15:35):
talk about the dishwasher. Stop putting plastic utensils or cutting
boards and baby items through high heat dishwasher cycles. That
combination of scalding water in harsh detergents ages plastic rapidly
and increases the shedding and hand wash these items in warm,
not hot water, and folks, Has anybody out there made

(16:00):
these changes? Won't you let us know? Call and tell

once you make these simple changes. And also what you
sip on and what you sip from matters more than
you realize. Those disposable paper cups at your favorite coffee shop,

they're lined with plastic. If you pour hot coffee in there,
and that lining starts breaking down almost immediately. If you
ever notice that weird film on your hot drink, you're
not imagining things. You're seeing microplastic release in real time.
So here's your marching orders. Carry a stainless steal or

ceramic travel mug everywhere you go home, office, coffee shops everywhere.
Make it almost as automatic as grabbing your keys. And
tea lovers, I want you to listen up. Some tea
bags are made with plastic. Fibers are sealed with plastic.
These hot water pushes these particles directly into your cup,

So I encourage you to switch to loose leaf tea
with a stainless steel infusure. So here's here's a myth
I want to destroy right now. BPA free doesn't equal
problem free. This might be one of the most dangerous
misconceptions of modern health. BPA free it might reduce exposure

(17:23):
to one specific chemical, but it does not magically stop
particle shredding or shedding. In fact, some BPA substitutes have
questionable safety records themselves. So if you want to cook
and store food with confidence, lean on materials that age
gracefully under any condition, like stainless steel for cooking, cast

(17:45):
iron for searing, ceramic and glass for baking and also
for storage. These materials they don't break down, they don't shed,
and they don't leach chemicals. So now let's go over
to the laundry room. Your washing machine. It's like a
microplastic generator that you probably haven't even considered. We got

synthetic fibers or fabrics, polyester, nylon, acrylic. They shed microfibers
in every single wash in hot water in aggressive agitation
turns these into a particle storm. A hot wash cycle,
it can release hundreds, if not thousands, more fibers than
a cold cycle. So if you want to win, set

your washer to cold by default, choose gentler cycles, use
liquid detergent instead of powder, and skip those fabric softeners
that actually accelerate fiber breakdown. If you want to, add
a microfiber catching laundry bag for synthetics, or install a
filter on your washer's discharge line. All right, let's move

on to water, and let's talk about the water coming
out of your tap and the bottles you've been buying
at the store. The microplastics there been detected in both,
So what's best defense. Why don't you start with a
quality activated carbon filter pitcher and change those cartridges religiously.
If you want to level up, install an under the
sink system with a submicron sediment filter. And if you

want maximum protection, look for a reverse osmosis system. Now
here's a tip that'll save you immediately. Never use hot
tapwater for cooking or drinking. Fill your pot with cold
filtered water and heat it on the stove. Hot tapwater
leaches more particles from the pipes in your fixtures. So

let's go ahead to your air. In the air you
breathe indoors. Microplastics they don't just swim in your food
and water. They float in your air, and they settle
in your dust. And every breath you take in your
home could be delivering particles directly to your LUNs. Now,
if we're trying to clean smarter, vacuum with a sealed

HEPA filter or unit that's an h PA unit, and
dust with a slightly damp microfiber cloth instead of dust
drying and as usually just tosses the particle's airborne, and
use your kitchen in your laundry room, exhaust fans and
make sure they vent outside. Every ten minutes of fresh

air daily helps dilute the indoor particle concentration. So lifter
windows if you can. All right, folks, So again, if
your schedule's packed and your kids are pulling you in
twelve different directions, I get it. So here are your
three non negotiables that deliver maximum impact with minimal disruption.

So one, stop heating food or drinks in plastic period
and wash synthetics in cold water and capture those microfibers.
Use non plastic vessels for all all hot beverages. And
these three changes alone can cut your daily microplastic exposure
by an estimated eighty percent. That's not perfection, but that's

powerful perfect protection for you. Now, from a longevity perspective,
this isn't about avoiding one toxin. It's a strategic retreat

to bring something to light. If you or someone you
love has dealt with depression, you know how relentless it
can sap the motivation, the energy, or even joy itself.

An ancient ten cent pill treat depression better than modern medicine.

This is a little pill that's called you Jew. It's
