Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is a disruptor's podcast. Welcome to Words of Radiance,
where light meets life. Hello and welcome. You're tuning into
Words of Radiance, where the wisdom of Scripture illuminates our
lives and deepens our faith. Today we are blessed to
hear from the inspiring voice of doctor Troy, whose words

(00:20):
are sure to challenge, uplift and strengthen us. Before we begin,
here is a special message for today. No matter where
you find yourself in life, whether in seasons of joy
or struggle, God's light is always present. His word is
not just something to hear, it's something to live. Today.
Open your heart and let truth transform you because in

(00:40):
his radiance we find strength, hope, and renewal. Get ready
to step into the warmth of his promises, the power
of his presence, and the depth of his love. Let's begin.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
Alone. Welcome, I'm doctor Troy. Healing is an interesting concept.
It is often misunderstood, and there are many people even
now that I get in contact with, that are trying
to have some type of physical, emotional, spiritual healing. And

(01:19):
while we have this concept of healing, you cannot have
the concept of healing unless you have an idea that
you are somehow not healed, that you are broken, that
you are not whole, that you are not complete, and
therefore I'm in need of healing yet in the grand

(01:39):
scheme of things in reality, and again reality being the
absolute truth, not what we perceive in a limited environment
of this world. So let's start from just the basics
of healing. So if at creation you are created whole,

(02:00):
complete one without defect, there is no need of healing
because you weren't created such. So then why do we
have this concept of healing. Well, because the brain now
begins to categorize symptoms things that doesn't like ideas. It says, hey,

(02:21):
I lack a finger or an arm, or a leg
or all of them. Or I don't have enough energy,
I don't sleep well. Somebody told me I have this progressive,
voracious cellular appetite in my body that they've labeled cancer.

(02:41):
I really don't like it. Of course, the brain doesn't
like it because it's really afraid. And so we have
all these concepts that were broken and sick, and yet
that's only in the brain. When we allow healing to occur,
all of a sudden, we now have this different position

(03:05):
of where reality is. And I use these concepts kind
of loosely because they're rather difficult to point to with
using words. Words are very limiting, and so I'm pointing
around all this. Why you just come out and say it,
doctor Troy? Well, I would, but words, again, are only

(03:26):
so good, and so I'm going to do the very
best I can and hopefully we've got at least some
modicum of concept that, Hey, are you saying I'm actually
already healed?

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Now, even coming from a Christian perspective, it's interesting to
me that they'll say, you know, people of the Old Testament,
they had a much more difficult time of healing. I'm thinking, what, well,
because once Christ came and died for us that by
his stripes we were healed. Ah okay, so something in

(04:05):
the physical changed the spiritual. Yeah, I'm not gonna buy that,
and if you want to, you can. I'm not going
to fault that. I just understand that, spiritually speaking, that oneness,
that perfection has never changed and will never change. The
moment we were created, it was done. There wasn't left

(04:28):
to be something finished or accomplished. It was already done.
And so yes, Christ came along. But if you believe
Christ is out there and not part of you, then
you're going to have some weird, faulty beliefs. But when
you realize that God only had one child, he created

(04:51):
just like himself, and he is one. He created one,
and so that one is now an interesting concept for
those that have never explored it or heard about it.
But that oneness hasn't changed. God never left his creation
and his creations never leave him, and his creation is one.

(05:14):
And so though there appears to be over seven billion
people on the planet, I think over eight now, there's
still only one of us here. And so Christ, which
is within each of you, which is life, which is God,
which is eternal, which is forever, which is love, which
is peace, which is joy. All of that is what

(05:38):
life is. And the moment that you were created, and
given that all encompassing life, you have everything, and you
were not ever created broken. It is only your brain's
idea that you are, and it will hold the body
in the position that it's in, whether a state of cancer,

(06:00):
whether a state of heart disease, whether a state of
absolute health, whether a state of sleeplessness. I mean, the
list goes on. I have allergies, Oh, good for you.
When you want to let that go and return back
to the state in which you always have been and
have never left, you can experience all of these weird conditions.

(06:22):
There's nothing wrong with it. By the way, I'm not
telling anybody that you're wrong for having cancer or having allergies,
or not sleeping well, or being fearful constantly, or thinking
that the world is going to end every single day
of your life. There is nothing wrong with that. Why

(06:42):
because the truth is always true and God would not
have you in harm's way ever. Yeah, but you don't understand.
All the people that I've lost, they were at harm's way. Well,
that's if you believe that you're just a boy, then
you're going to have all kinds of fear. But when

(07:04):
you realize that the life that is in you, that
keeps your body the way that it is that created it,
that keep all the molecules together, and the brain keeps
trying to hijacket and make it overweight or out of
shape or funny looking only to itself, or sick or unhappy,

(07:25):
or whatever you wish to experience is all for you
to experience. And you can experience anything you want, anything.
It's all for you now when you finally get tired
of that and realize, wait a minute, I think I'm
just going to be I think I'm just going to
be happy. I think I'm just going to be at peace.

(07:51):
I think I'm just going to be love that which
I have always been and always will be. I'm going
to reach turn to that that would be called repentance,
to turn and face that which you are again, and
turn your back on everything that you've been making and

(08:12):
making yourself unhappy, just to experience unhappiness that you could
realize how absolutely joyful, absolute peace, absolute love, perfect joy,
perfect piece, perfect love, perfect life, perfect infinite presence is,
and how amazing it is. And so all the things

(08:33):
that we do in our life that we cause ourselves trouble,
seemingly an endless barrage of problems. We do that only
until we're no longer interested in doing that, and we
begin to let go little by little, some radically, some slowly,

(08:53):
and we realize that only I thought I wasn't healed
the whole time. Sometimes I'll have well meaning Christians come
in that have been healed, they said, and they have
no more pain, and they want to do an X
ray and we take a picture of their back or
their spine and it looks atrocious still and they actually

(09:16):
are devastated. And I have to say, wait a minute,
Wait a minute, wait a minute. Are you going to
allow a picture of what you think your spine should
look like and what it does look like to negate
a healing that you received. That might be tragic, though

(09:36):
if you wish to go through it, you can, and
the world might label it tragic. I won't, I'll really
try not to. But just believe it is your faith
that makes you well always. And that's not a new concept,
my friends, that is well, well experienced, and so I

(10:00):
hope this is kind of something that you'll understand about healing.
It is something that is an internal mechanism that is
between you and your beautiful self, the Christ that you are,
and that you and the Christ is really letting go
of your brain's ideas and just living in the state

(10:22):
of peace and joy that is yours, that is you,
that state of love that is you, that state of
infinite presence that is you, that is God, that is Christ,
that has always been you. Nothing has changed and nothing
ever will. Everything that is has always been the truth

(10:42):
is always true God did not leave anything incomplete the
moment that he was done with creation. It was done,
and it was very good, and it remains very good
unless you label it something other than that. Of course,
that's only true for you right now, but it isn't

(11:03):
true at all. It becomes a fantasy that you get
to live, a fantasy of sickness, a fantasy of unhappiness,
a fantasy of endless problems, endless troubles, or the reality
that you are actually already healed, that you are one
with your brothers and sisters, that you are love already,

(11:29):
that you are peace already, that you've always been one
with your father and he's never left you. Your Creator
has forever been one with you and would never want
to be separate with you, because you are perfect, and
you are an extension of him. All that you are
he is, and all that he is you are. That

(11:53):
is some beautiful healing. And if you're led to eat
a sandwich, fine, if you're led to take a supplement, fine,
if you're led to drink water, fine, But realize that
healing comes from within, and as that alignment with the
truth occurs, the most simplistic things you'll do in your

(12:16):
dietarily needs, in your sleeping habits, in your communication with
the people that you love and are one with. You'll
watch your life heal in so many different ways. You'll
scarcely recognize it, and those around you you'll give light
to them and then they will heal. But of course

(12:40):
you'll realize that you were already healed, that there was
nothing to heal except a fantasy. I know it's a
bit all like drinking from a massive fountain, but it's
a great living water fountain to drink from until next time.

(13:02):
I'm doctor Troy, and remember you have nothing to do,
only something to see.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
