A tinis greed shin podcast recording this uh to to
Night remembered eighteen twenty five, of course, with America's favorite
degenerate himself, Zachary Zach what's going on? Brother?

Speaker 5 (01:18):
No mush man and burning money right and left.

Speaker 4 (01:23):
Well gambling gambling the market.

Speaker 6 (01:27):
You know, don't ask me for any information right now
because it's just gonna lightt your money on fire.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
Oh god, oh my god. Well have some more bad
news for you. You lost this week?

Speaker 5 (01:38):
Really yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:41):
It was uh three five to three. We'll had a
bad week, to be honest to you. But I couldn't
see them get so back when the streaks over. So
what's a lot of time they don't you still four back,
four back with some weeks ago, try to catch up,
you know.

Speaker 5 (01:58):
So it's like the Bengals still with the show.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
No, they're done, were done?

Speaker 5 (02:05):
Well, what are they three games back?

Speaker 4 (02:06):
Come on the three and seven. They're not catching. They're
not gonna catch Baltimore. They're not gonna catch Are you serious?

Speaker 6 (02:13):
If it wasn't for the schedule Baltimore had, they'd already
still have two more losses.

Speaker 5 (02:18):
Like Lamar has not looked.

Speaker 4 (02:19):
Good, says the Ravens fan. Says the Ravens fan.

Speaker 5 (02:24):
Yeah, I can be honest.

Speaker 6 (02:26):
It's just like my team might be cracking them a
top five on this list, but not in a good way.

Speaker 4 (02:33):
Yeah, I mean, but the Browns defense, we we we
knew the brown defense be a team that they're the
one team that keeps them more at Bay. They can
keep a little more controlled you put. You give any
team that defense, any any solid team that defense to
Super Bowl.

Speaker 6 (02:50):
Put at this ft. The Ravens got lucky, Dylan Gabriel
got knocked out.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
The game was bad. They're both bad. I don't think
it mattered. It would mattered because Bill Gable look that
good either too.

Speaker 5 (03:03):
No, but they managed.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
Yeah, anyway, before we get to our best bats and
previous empty states on one of their topics went on
the docket. Have been doing evere weeks since, like I
think three weeks ago. We are now doing power rankings here.
So before we gets off top ten, give me your
bottom five was after this week? Speak twelve?

Speaker 5 (03:22):
Bottom five? The only easy one is the worst team
in football.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
It's oh you easy? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (03:30):
After that, there could be eight other teams. Oh yeah,
I got Vegas at thirty thirty one.

Speaker 6 (03:38):
I mean, when you can't score points against Dallas, I
don't know what it's up. All right, you're just got
awful you draft. This guy is looking like the biggest
bust of the year.

Speaker 4 (03:49):
Gent ooh genty are you yeah?

Speaker 5 (03:54):
Are you serious? You only get six or seven carries
in the entire game for twelve? You are cards?

Speaker 4 (04:00):
Well, was that was that the old lines fault? Was
that really him just being that bad?

Speaker 6 (04:05):
Dude? If you go top five in the NFL draft, dude,
you don't get excuses for.

Speaker 5 (04:13):
Oh, the old line is bad. You need to put
up some sort of numbers.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
Hmmm, alright, you got thirty at number thirty.

Speaker 6 (04:23):
I got the Jets, all right, they're selling off their team,
They've got no hope, yet they.

Speaker 5 (04:28):
Still managed to play decent.

Speaker 6 (04:30):
Yeah, Cleveland's at twenty nine and the Saints are at
twenty eight and right behind them trying as hard as
they can.

Speaker 5 (04:41):
Washington.

Speaker 4 (04:42):
Yeah, Washington's pretty bad now, all right? My bottom five
going from thirty two to to twenty eight. Thirty two
also the Titans as well, to easily work team in football.
Thirty one is still the Saints. It's bye week, second
wort team football my opinion. Thirty I've got the Raiders
now that as bad as you, but damn close. Twenty

(05:03):
add the Jets as well, and then twenty eight have
the Giants. You know that they put up a good
performance against the Packers. Yeah, it's still one of the
worst teams. I mean, the thing is that twenty eighth spot.
We can go to five or six teams, as you said,
and go to the Commanders, and go to the Cardinals
and go to you name it. You know, so I
mean that twenty that twenty spot is so like fluid

(05:25):
at this point. All right, top ten, number ten?

Speaker 6 (05:28):
You got at number ten, Tampa Bay holding on by
a shoe string in for the top ten spot.

Speaker 4 (05:37):
Mm hmm. I almost put them there, almost put them
there myself because they they put a fight as Buffalo man.
But again is what it is. Uh, But how to
give it to these guys? They finally ways to win
games even though on the injuries. He also their quarterback
came back after what like eight weeks, brought Perty and
the Niners number ten again. Kyle Shannon is coaching, I

(06:02):
mean a mass unit there and still did. This team
is still play attention, So you gotta give them credit
for that. Who got them nine and number nine?

Speaker 5 (06:11):
I got.

Speaker 6 (06:11):
I got Tampa's opponent from last weekend, the Bills. Okay,
all right, the fact they managed to be Tampa. It
might be their second best win of the year.

Speaker 5 (06:22):
So I just have no I have no real faith.

Speaker 4 (06:27):
In the team, So right, I get it. The night
for me got the Ravens. Actually same moved at one
spot for last week. They're back. I look, I get it,
you's your schedule. But as I told you, guys, you
know the Browns game. Don't look at that because again
the Browns always play Baltimore tough. Okay, sometimes even win

(06:47):
a game. It's just one of those weird things in
the schedule, you know. But theyfly win the game. They
are back night you got.

Speaker 6 (06:55):
And theay I got brock perty in the forty nine ers. Uh,
that's what That's what the Niners look like with a
legit quarterback. And that is why there is no quarterback
controversy for that.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
Teams contracts at all, because number one, they're paying them
two hundred million dollars. You have you have to play
pop party. There's no choice of the matter. And Property
wasn't gonna a contract, then maybe have a conversation. But
you're paying them as though he's in the boreline e
League quarterback, So you gotta, you gotta, you gotta play
them matter what. But Mat Jill has been very good
this year, to be real about that. Mus the Bills again,

(07:31):
big win against the Bucks. But again this is a
team that they're they're spop team. They are a team
that Okay, well you're you're good and we we we
you are, yes, a super ptender, but it is super
Bowl Bus for you guys this year. You gotta get
to super Ball this year, espcially now the AFC being
so wide open as it is, there's no excuse this year.
So but but but again again, a phenomenal win by

(07:52):
Buffalo on Sunday, even more phenomenal performance by uh by
Josh Allen jeez, three touch, six touchdofs total, three Russian
pee passing. Well, it always happened twice in history of
this league. He did twice. Insane, insane.

Speaker 5 (08:10):
I know that's why he won the MVP last year.
That's that's gilm is due.

Speaker 4 (08:14):
And he's probably I wouldn't give it him this year
because of the team's been less this year. But he's
certainly in the conversation again, No.

Speaker 5 (08:22):
He's not even in the top five conversation.

Speaker 6 (08:25):
We need to be honest about who the real MVP
candidates are this league this year, and he's not one
of them.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
So you got Stafford, he got h the kids from
the Colts, uh, You've got Taylors.

Speaker 5 (08:39):
You've got to.

Speaker 4 (08:40):
Sell that performance on Sunday may have taken him out
a little bit.

Speaker 6 (08:45):
Man, if that performance takes him out, a loss to
the Dolphins completely negates any chance.

Speaker 5 (08:52):
Of Josh Allen having made right.

Speaker 4 (08:54):
Maybe you're right, maybe right. I will say the MVP
promptly this year is very fluid. There's no clear cut
winner right now, do you? That was my favorite, one
whole thing, that's my favorite.

Speaker 5 (09:06):
But seven got at number seven. I'm doing it more
out of love for this team than confidence for this team.

Speaker 4 (09:16):
The Lions, same here, same same tough loss, and it's
really not surprising at all. They got robbed the in
the game. But at the same time, to ask your question,
how do you people all those porkdown misses that they
Dan Campbell five conversions, five failures?

Speaker 6 (09:39):
Look, they that is the real reason that team struggles
at times when you put your team behind the eight ball.
You can't blame the quarterback for having turnovers. Ben he
knows he has to try and dig you out of
holes because your coach refuses to ever punt the football.

Speaker 4 (09:57):
Yeah, so what is all these coaches now so not
wanting to take the points? I don't get The Dolphins
game went in Madrid doing fourth and goal to win,
to win, win the game, well at least took the
lead in defension to win a game. And they go
for fourth down, miss it and nearly lose the game.
And you have all these coaches going for fourth down.
I get it. I like the aggression, but sometimes it's okay.
To the points.

Speaker 5 (10:18):
Absolutely, points are always better than no points.

Speaker 4 (10:21):
Exactly, especial when you have me five times five times.
Come on, bro, all right, number six.

Speaker 5 (10:26):
We got at number six.

Speaker 6 (10:30):
Andy probably probably the second second best team and all
the auc, but I still only have them as six.

Speaker 4 (10:39):
Oh interesting, well I got Denver to six, who finally
all this time at nine and two climb into my
top ten this year?

Speaker 6 (10:47):
Is it because they completely took away any playoff hope
of your team.

Speaker 4 (10:51):
Well all the hope, but you know, it is what
it is. It's a big win though, for the big win,
big one absolute. Yeah. And I said in the podcast
last week, if you if you put me, put me wrong,
I reward you. And I have done that. I'm a man,
I'm a manimal word, Zachary.

Speaker 5 (11:09):
You know this so a little late to give them
the reward, but okay, but.

Speaker 4 (11:14):
They say barely never right, Yeah, that's gare we go
all right? Number five?

Speaker 6 (11:18):
You got at number five. I think this team would
actually lose to the Colts. But Denver baby, and do what.

Speaker 5 (11:27):
They did to Kansas City and your heart. They deserve
to be top five.

Speaker 4 (11:32):
Well, they lost their Colts once this year, so that
has happened ready. I have Indian five by way, so
we had five and six with those two teams again
any of the by This is distretch. Now, okay, big
winnings Atlanta last week. You get a Bible this week
and now you get the home stretch down and get
the chief Chiefs. You have a chance to do something

(11:53):
here where not only were you benefit but every team
AMC benefits from. If the Chiefs lose this week, that
they're not only three of that stretched we talked about
weeks ago, the tough stretch, and they are as close
to buried as we've ever seen this Chiefs team in
Mahomes era, especially with that messy walkcart situation. Now that
Beings said, if they get in the seven season Waldcarts

(12:16):
still they're still live because of who they are, but
they are definitely vulnerable. The Colts have a chance to
do something here for the rest of the league. Here
in all this fifties and whatnot. So but culted five
four he.

Speaker 5 (12:32):
Got at number four Seattle.

Speaker 4 (12:35):
Same.

Speaker 6 (12:37):
Yeah, Donald might have had one bad game, but everyone
is entitled to a bad game.

Speaker 5 (12:42):
I mean, they can't all be Matthew Stafford.

Speaker 4 (12:45):
All right, it's true, all right. I took away a
lot of positives from that win and loss rather on
Sunday because you turn them below four times against a
team I believe is the only team cable of beating
the Eagles at this point, and you almost have, you have,
you almost win the game. You almost miss field goal

(13:08):
from winning that game. Yeah, I mean that is just
that simple. I feel better about the Sex more now
than did before the game because they came there. They
competed after the first quarter, but it was down fourteen three.
That defense type done, so that is a super Bowl defense,
and that offense play a little better. Cut back on

(13:29):
the turnovers. I'm gonna say they are a super Bowl contender.
They are, you know, So Seattle four for me, I'm
with you. We might have the same three, same top
three four in order to be honestly right, but.

Speaker 5 (13:40):
Three you got a number three. I think this team
has the AFC one seed.

Speaker 6 (13:45):
Locked up now at this point, their schedule is so
easy going out New England.

Speaker 4 (13:51):
Same hereand same here. In New England, they are gon
win the AFC, I mean the next tough well, they
do have two tough teams to two games not coming up.
Let's go weeks. He's got Buffalo again at home though,
and it got Baltimore in a few weeks. So those
are the two tough games coming up for the Patriots.

(14:12):
But it will go a long way too also in
also burying the Ravens too well, the other team will
be live making the playoffs. So but yeah, I think
I don't know. I dountless say number one seed just
yet because I don't think that I don't even think
the contenders is yet. I I there's a lot of
the things I'm still on the fence about. But maybe
I maybe gotta see more. Maybe makes been good, but

(14:33):
I gotta see more.

Speaker 5 (14:34):
You know, sometimes you don't need to be a super
Bowl contender to be the one seed.

Speaker 4 (14:40):
Baltimore, that's true. But with New England, I don't know,
man that they might be contented by default, because if if,
if there's a world where Baltimore and Casey both miss
the playoffs, then pretty much all seven teams that make
the playoffs all live.

Speaker 5 (15:00):
I can't agree with that.

Speaker 4 (15:01):
That that's simple. So that's that's how I look at that.
All right, number two, what you got at number two?

Speaker 5 (15:09):
I think this is very different. I got the Rams. Yeah,
I mean you're you're correct.

Speaker 6 (15:18):
If any team is capable of beating the Eagles this year,
it's gonna be the Rams.

Speaker 5 (15:23):
But right now, you still got to give credit to
the champion. They always signed a.

Speaker 4 (15:29):
Way to win and and they've also beaten the Rams
rade this year. So until you beat the man, I
can't reward you. You have that one of your two losses.
Againt Philadelphia ran black field goal. Yes, but it will
beat you. So but the gap is close though, it's
very close. Yeah, the playoff game last year and then
the game they played the like week three, Week four,

(15:50):
you know it was about to block field goal. So
Eagles one for me. Again, not not pretty, but again
nothing nothing. They might have had the tops for the
league this year because they played They've played Tampa, they
played Kansas Kansas City, they played the Rams. They've played
who else? They played Denver this year, they played Detroit

(16:12):
this year, they they have a very tough schedules year
and they got through it with rooty flying Colors, So
you gotta gi him credit man, And I know it's
pretty but but again, when you're a champs, you get
your rest best shot.

Speaker 6 (16:23):
Look, they'll have the most unhappy two time Super Bowl
champion probably in the history of football if they win
this year.

Speaker 4 (16:31):
Who's a A J. Brown? Yeah they got they got
trade that guy seriously.

Speaker 6 (16:36):
Oh they will after the season, but yeah, I mean
two super Bowls and that guy will still be so unhappy.

Speaker 4 (16:42):
Yeah, ridiculous. All right, here we go Week twelve Best bets.
You got four buys this week on Zachary. We got
the Broncos, got the Chargers, the Dolphins, and your commanders.
Of these four teams, Zach, who needs this by the most?

Speaker 5 (16:59):
I want to say in my team? But in reality
is the Chargers.

Speaker 6 (17:03):
I mean, the Chargers really gotta get healthy and after
such an embarrassing loss, you really don't want to show
your face for a little bit, so they can at
least go and high at home.

Speaker 4 (17:12):
Yeah, Devers wanna high. So even though they're not even that,
they are despected by people like me, which I understand.
You don't have to like what I like. I say
this is my opinion. Easily Chargers. They have all the
injuries right now going on that they had a chance
to state to stay in pace with the with the
Broncos not been what two back of the Broncos in
the division. I think it is, so the Broncos is

(17:33):
right up. The Broncos might have rocked up the ABC
West now might have I'm not saying it's done, yes,
but that one case. Look now, the five up in
KSE be honestly because you had the four four games
of the division plus the tiebreaker. So yeah, they might
take care of business there. So we'll see, all right.
First game we got on Thursday football, we got Bills

(17:54):
at Texans. The Bills are six point favorites. The over
unders act's forty three and a half.

Speaker 6 (18:00):
Oh man, you know what, Texans are strong at home
and the Bills are so inconsistent.

Speaker 5 (18:08):
Give me the Taxans.

Speaker 4 (18:09):
I'm there with you, brother, I am absolutely there with you.
Houston's weird. It's start one, three, nine, five and five.
And by way, they're also back in the contention for
the ball card. I don't think they'll catch Indie for
the division at this point. That's why, see, this is
why I said that Colts win against Atlanta was huge.
It was a bust win because the coast was that game.

(18:30):
Now there's seven and what seven and three, there's some
doubt steeping in a little bit five week, get the
Casey game coming up. Also to meanwhile, Jacksonville's kind of weird.
I don't blame on the Jaguars, but it's still six
and four. Also, you know you have the the Texans
stunt a clim up again. So at least that that
falcon that that that went over, the falcons went a
long way and and and least give me some some

(18:51):
breathing room going to you bye. So that means said,
I almost like Houston's well, because Buffalo's like for what
every one, big one. They'll have a lot time coming
up on a short week. Two on top of that,
I mean, they'll probably to win the game, but I'll
take Houston the points here. So all right, next game
here we have Steelers at Bears. This is interesting game
here is actually uh zach Bears a three point favacy

(19:14):
over under a forty five and a half.

Speaker 6 (19:17):
Give me the Bears. They don't even know I who's
gonna play quarterback. They put in Aaron Rodgers. He's gonna
throw the ball four yards.

Speaker 4 (19:25):
That's it.

Speaker 5 (19:27):
So my confidence is in the Bears right now, the
way they're playing.

Speaker 4 (19:30):
And that's the Rogers team plays this game exactly.

Speaker 5 (19:35):
M If it's Rudolph, I feel even better.

Speaker 4 (19:39):
Yeah, there's there's a word though that he's like he's
pushing to play. But that's gonna be a coaching decision there,
of course. I actually I'm gonna go you over on
this though. I don't like any of these defenses, to
be honest to you, So I'll take the over in
this game. It's low enough to least flut with it.

(19:59):
I could definitely see twenty thirty twenty seven game, you
know that kind of thing, you know, twenty twenty four
or something like that. We could see something of that nature.
So give me to you over in this one, all right.
We got Patriots at Bengals. The Packs are seven a
half point favorite. The over under is forty nine and
a half.

Speaker 5 (20:19):
Patriots, what this will be there? This is gonna be
their tenth win in a row.

Speaker 4 (20:24):
Close eleventh, No, no, no, no, it would be actually
the eighth or ninth. Okay, they started, they started one
and two. Now they're nine and two.

Speaker 5 (20:35):
Okay, I thought they had started started zero and two and.

Speaker 4 (20:38):
They wont Miami week two, and then they want lost
again and then they won the role.

Speaker 6 (20:43):
So yeah, this will be their ninth one in a row.
I love them to cover against Cincinnati.

Speaker 4 (20:49):
I probably should go that route too. Also by what
over as well, even though the Bengals won't have Jamar
Chase's game, they suspended up spinning at Janie Ramsey and
you know he said he didn't spin on him. But
the old every camera saw that. What are you fucking
bor run? You want? You want camera, bro?

Speaker 5 (21:07):
You tell the lie long enough. It doesn't matter if
you're on camera.

Speaker 4 (21:12):
These players will get it, man, I'm telling you. But
I'll take you over this one. You got you got
New England, right, yeah, all right? Next game here we
got Giants and Lions. The Lions and ten and a
half my favorites. The over under Zach is fifty.

Speaker 5 (21:29):
I mean, Giants were in that game, so.

Speaker 4 (21:32):
James effects know.

Speaker 6 (21:36):
And in fact, Detroit's so been so inconsistent on the
offense of late.

Speaker 5 (21:43):
You know, I'll take the points. He said, ten and
a half or eleven ten and a half. Yeah, I'll
take that.

Speaker 4 (21:52):
I'm taking Detroit Man Detroit the do win you receiving
the Giants. I know whos starting quarterback this week at
although I wouldn't be against Stamens Thorne one a week
to be safe with our SA with marbles. But the
choice is the better team. That's not a conversation. And
they need to win place on day place or day
they're not in. I see. The thing is I again,

(22:16):
I knew they would be a rest to me this
year for this team. I just didn't know how much.
Now we're seeing how much. They're still a good team,
probably contenders to go to Super Bowl. But I think
there are teams down the NFC a little better than
they are right now. The teams you mentioned in the
front rankings Seahawks from Eagles Rams clearly better than they are,
you know, but I'll go to Choy this one. It
need has been bad. So all right, we got an

(22:38):
AFC North shot out here. You got Vikings at Packers.
The Packers are six and a half points favorite. Thee
over under Zacht is forty one low.

Speaker 6 (22:49):
Well, I mean I think to expecting Minnesota not to
score any points and Green Bay struggled, So give me
the under.

Speaker 5 (22:56):
I just taught myself into that one.

Speaker 4 (22:59):
Well, I'm one oppos with you. I'm going taking the
over this one. Actually, that numbers is too too T's
too low to not take the over. It's just too
low not to take the over.

Speaker 6 (23:10):
How many sectually got maker parksons having on JJ McCarthy
at least two? Yeah, he better have at least two.
I mean he thinks he's the best player in football and.

Speaker 4 (23:22):
Act like it. I like it, you know. So all right,
we got uh Seahawks at Titans. The Seahawks are thirteen
a half. My favorites. The over unders act is forty
to a half.

Speaker 5 (23:33):
Oh give me the Seahawks in this one. All right?

Speaker 6 (23:37):
That that Seahawks defense, the Times will be lucky to
score ten points.

Speaker 4 (23:43):
Yeah, I got seallhold too. Another team he's seeing. Tennessee's
is terrible. Dude, They're just dude, is terrible. I I
there's nothing I want to say this game. They just
wayne for the season. The end. Seattle is trying to,
you know, stay in content with that division. You know
you're not gonna see that. You won't see a game
that bad from Darnald again, I don't give a Crapy're

(24:06):
traveling out east. That doesn't matter anymore. Give me Seattle
is clearly better than You're all right, we got probably
a game of the week here, Colts at Chiefs, the
Chiefs of three point favorites, the over under Zach is
forty nine and a half.

Speaker 5 (24:21):
Give me me under. I'm worry that this could be
a bad game for Daniel Jones.

Speaker 4 (24:29):
I don't blame you. I don't blame you at all.
And again I'm gonna I'm gonna read what I have
been saying on this on the show. Until this team
is dead and buried. Until they're dead and buried, I
will still have them as a superw contender. Give me
Casey to win this game and the cover, because again

(24:49):
I have to see I don't see a world where
we're entering week thirteen they're five and six. I just
don't see that. Zach, so by hook a by crook,
they'll finally win this game. Now, having said that, if
Indy pulls this off, wow, we got a conversation to
have on next week on the show about the Chiefs.

Speaker 6 (25:11):
Not just a conversation about just the Chiefs or about
how about the coat are legit Super Bowl contenders at
that point.

Speaker 4 (25:20):
Again, and then you agree me on this too. Also,
if we live in the world in January where the
Ravens and the Chiefs are not in the playoffs, all
seven playoff teams are super contenders, this would be the
most wide open AFC we've ever seen. That's simple. So
but give me k C to meantime. So all right,

(25:42):
we got Jets at Ravens. The Ravens are thirteen and
a half point favorites the over under Zach, it's forty
four and a half.

Speaker 6 (25:52):
You're not gonna like to hear this, but Ravens aren't
good enough to cover thirteen and a half.

Speaker 5 (25:56):
Give me the Jets.

Speaker 4 (25:58):
I see your fear. I do see your fear. But
I think this week is at home. The Jets are
obviously a team way for the season, and also, like
the Titans are and Ravens again, he needs to do
the gas they need this game, and this game will
put five hundred, you know. And if the Steels lose
this week to also, I think they're tired mistaken a

(26:20):
close Titan. So give me the ra Ravens to cover
this game. I do think Ravens will bounce back. You know,
you know they didn't lose last week, but they'll bounce
back in a big way. So all right, we got
oh god, here we go. Browns at Raiders the Lord Ravens.
Raiders rather are three and a half win favorites. Favorites

(26:41):
the over under Zactus thirty six and a half.

Speaker 5 (26:48):
Raiders. I feel bad for you.

Speaker 6 (26:49):
You're gonna pick up a win and cast yourself a
draft draft slot. But I do not see a world
imentch Shadora comes out and beats his team.

Speaker 4 (27:01):
Yeah, that would be a great story. Though if he does,
it does happen best Betsy under Rados offense was stunk
last week. Brown's offense thinks all the time. Just points
a lot of for these two teams, a lot of points.
Give me under this one. So all right, you got
Jaguars at Cardinals the Jacks and three point favorites over under.

(27:22):
It's forty seven and a half.

Speaker 6 (27:24):
Gim me Jacksonville, man, I had him, had him another
division to start the season. After yes, last week's went
against Charters, I'm feeling good giming Jacksonville.

Speaker 4 (27:36):
This is a trap game, bro, There's a trap game.
I'm saying the Cardinals this game, Bro, did you say
deceive last week? Yeah, he had the most completions in
the history of the NFL. And what happened and very
efficient too, mind you. And what happened was he forty
seven fifty seven last week?

Speaker 5 (27:55):
No?

Speaker 4 (27:55):
I know it lost the game. I get I get
all there, but it wasn't least at least it was
a fishing in those in those numbers. Bill, you know
what I'm saying. No, this is a trap game, bro, Like,
I'm sorry if you if you trust the Jaguars to
winning this spot on the road, you're crazy, Like they
should win this game, Zach. I agree with you, they
should win this game. But knowing the Jaguars, how they

(28:16):
been this year and how many let they've had this year,
would it shock you if we come back Monday, Tuesday
Evening Dudes podcast and the Jaguars another lost under uh
in the column? What's surprised you?

Speaker 6 (28:30):
So nothing would surprise me. You see how bad I'm picking,
You're winning week after week.

Speaker 4 (28:37):
That surprised you. I'm called the upset here. I'm giving yourszona,
give you your zona. All right? We got Eagles at Cowboys.
The Eagles are three point favorites. The over under Zack
is forty seven.

Speaker 6 (28:52):
Oh, give me the over in this game, all right.
I feel like the Cowboys are gonna make this a game,
but it's just gonna be high scoring and they'll still lose.

Speaker 4 (29:04):
So give me.

Speaker 5 (29:04):
Give me the over there as.

Speaker 4 (29:06):
Well too, obviously, just thinking I'm a huge Cowboys fan.
Because my bet still in play, I need to get
nine wins to get my Hornerbucks, my buddy Mario. Long
Way to Goo though, know they won them one day,
but long way to go bat the overs well too.
All right, we got Falcons at Saints. Another snoozer. The Saints,
so two point favorites under three nine point.

Speaker 5 (29:27):
Szech Oh, now you're asking me to bet on Kirk Cousins, right, yeah,
give me the Saints.

Speaker 4 (29:42):
I see that.

Speaker 5 (29:45):
You know my history with Cousins. Give me give me
the Saints.

Speaker 4 (29:49):
I see. I see that, definitely, man, I see that.
But I am taking the under this game because Cousins
is terrible. The Saints is still terrible. Three times. It's
a lot of points. Give me even under this one,
all right. Next game, we have the the Bucks and
the Rams the pubblic the other game of the week
here Rams and six half point favorites. See over under

(30:10):
is forty nine zec.

Speaker 6 (30:14):
Oh. I would love love take just take the Rams
out right, But you know Baker, Milt Mayfield and you
know back door cover, So give me the over.

Speaker 4 (30:27):
I have the over two, a backround covering backtro windows
game you wanted to, but you know I don't like
that much. But now, not for nothing. I know we
all assume the Bucks went division, but Honner heels the
fucking call out of Panthers.

Speaker 3 (30:41):
Bro.

Speaker 4 (30:42):
Yeah, the only game back of them right now or
half game back. Look, I still think the Bucks will
division matter what. Okay, I have no I have no
vision of seeing the Panthers win division this year. But
my god, if you told me going to week twelve
the Panthers are six and five right now and only
a game back or half game back or the Buccaneers
for the NC sub title, I would have called you crazy.

(31:05):
Yet here you are.

Speaker 6 (31:08):
Uh well, if Carolina were to win that division, Tampa Atlanta,
you need a clear house.

Speaker 5 (31:15):
That's that is how shocking now would be to me.

Speaker 4 (31:18):
Yeah, diagree with you on that one. Give it you
over the wall two though, I'm with you on that
all right, and finally, my life football, we have the
Panthers at the Niners on the Niners at sann point favorites.
The over under is for you and half. All of
a sudden's a big game now.

Speaker 6 (31:34):
Yeah, and you know Tampa is getting lucky right here
because even when they lose to the Rams, they don't
have to worry.

Speaker 5 (31:41):
I think forty nine ers cover this game easy.

Speaker 4 (31:44):
Mm hmmm. I went under this one. All le Broncos
back though, but I'll go on this one. Keyln is weird.
Is really weird by the way I think of this game. Man,
I'm telling you that's gonna make the end of the
NFC Waldcard picture even more nuts. It's the same. And
now I forget the fact they have in the Walkar situation.

(32:06):
Now they're because they're likely the likely the Bucks are.
We're gonna lose on Sunday to programs all of a sudden.
Now they're either tied, No, they're not tied at all.
I think Carolina win this week and a Temple loss
actually puts Carolina in the first place of the division
actually by half game. That's crazy, bro, that's insane. I look,

(32:35):
I think, well, the teams lose this week anyway. So
but it's not gonna happen. But yeah, give me the
under put of the that game, all right, quick, f
F two minute. I didn't watch one minute of that
damn game gets parted in tech because I don't care.
I've checked out, bro, I've checked out.

Speaker 5 (32:51):
Look. It made me proud. They did the same thing
all of Dominion did, which was deep contact.

Speaker 6 (32:57):
Yeah, they finally did something I expected. But this fix
a different story. They're planning team in the NC State
that has a history of beating them.

Speaker 4 (33:12):
Well win here for the Knowles, here the Knowles. They're
at that point. That's good news.

Speaker 5 (33:20):
Yeah, but.

Speaker 4 (33:23):
I don't know. Uh so right this week, this week
they are on the road. Your half one favorites at
NC State unixt one and a half. My god, that's
a big number. Geez six one and a half.

Speaker 5 (33:36):
But we don't play a lot of defense.

Speaker 4 (33:38):
Man, I'm going over over on this. I'm going over
and the Knowles because whatever.

Speaker 5 (33:47):
Yeah, I'll go the over and stay away from betting
NC State.

Speaker 4 (33:52):
Yeah yeah, yeah, So that's it for me on that
on that front. All right, before we get out of here,
I want to I want to revisit a NFL topic
we sort of touched on last week text. Last week
I wanted to touch on and it was involving the
twenty twenty four draft of quarterbacks. I was want to

(34:13):
focus only on the the top four quarterbacks that were drafted.
So I think the order was, you had call Wilsumber one,
you had Jumber two, Drake, May three, and I think
was Bo next, like eight now seven, so.

Speaker 5 (34:30):
It was May three. The next was fourth McCarthy. Fifth,
next was six.

Speaker 4 (34:36):
Six, Okay, right, So I want to focus on the
four guys that have clearly been the best quarterback so
far through a year and a quarter, three quarters of
so far, obviously, Bo, Jayden, Drake, and uh In Caleb.
If you have to do the draft all over again
right now, those those four guys in order, how would

(34:57):
you draft those four guys right now.

Speaker 6 (35:01):
Right now if I'm actually being serious instead of looking
out for my team.

Speaker 5 (35:06):
Drake May one, and then it's a real toss up.

Speaker 6 (35:13):
Caleb is really starting to come on strong for the
number two, and so I'm actually gonna give it to
him right now because I've got another quarterback and Daniels
who can't stay healthy and is run happy. Now, I
don't know what happened to him wanting to throw the

(35:34):
football from last season, but he is run run happy,
and that is not good for a guy at his frame,
right and number four, I mean, you're gonna give it
to bon Nicks because of the record, but honestly, if
he didn't have Sean Payton and he didn't have that defense,
I don't know if I still wouldn't go Michael Pennis

(35:56):
Junior at four. Like, I get it, Bone is deservedly
so for number four because of the win loss record,
But to me, it looks like Timbo most of the
time literally can't show up for three quarters and then
pulls magic out of his ass in the fourth quarter.

Speaker 4 (36:16):
Yeah, yeah, to the point. Yeah, And I think with
both push too that you see moments. You see moments
and like oh okay, now we get it. He makes
he makes a really good passes too. Also, like in
a case game, he makes some really tiny pants passing
that game. So it's not to say a boat could not,

(36:37):
you know, climb this ladder down the road.

Speaker 5 (36:39):
You know.

Speaker 4 (36:40):
But I'm gonna be honest with you. I'm gonna shock you.
I was I'm public go Daniels one still because I've
seen more upside of him now. Having said that, the
injuries are concerned, no doubt about that. But let's stuff
we got last year. This dude was literally a game
away from going to super Bowl as a rookie. Okay,
so he's been He's had the larger climbs so far

(37:04):
in terms of like ceiling, but obviously the injuries make
it a lot more humbling to to put to make
a clar number one, but I will stole against number
one because I think, what here's Neil even this year?
As bad asy've been this year, when he's healthy, they're
obviously a much better team.

Speaker 5 (37:22):
No see this is that's coming from someone who hasn't
lost the.

Speaker 6 (37:27):
Washington game, oh barely, because Mariota has looked like the
better of the two quarterbacks this season.

Speaker 4 (37:33):
So what is the issue with what Danil's year?

Speaker 6 (37:35):
They think literally incisiveness, lack of confidence in his throws
or lack of confidence in his wide receivers.

Speaker 5 (37:44):
And he is.

Speaker 6 (37:46):
He's got happy feed and I mean real happy feet.
He can't wait to take off and run. He doesn't
even give his receivers a chance to get open anymore.

Speaker 4 (37:59):
Could I argue you that, uh, the mcclarin injury has
been has hurting him a lot.

Speaker 6 (38:06):
Okay, you've had you've had lower body body injuries, and
yet every time you come back, all you do is
want to run the ball.

Speaker 4 (38:15):
Mm hmm. I do think the case of Drake may
right now is the long game. Like, we don't know
Drake maywill will be a star in this league. Oh
there's trending that way right now. It's starting to trend,
but we don't know who been starting. Is he closer
to Sam Donald's, closer to Tom Brady, We don't know.

(38:36):
And there was a side last year that he was decent,
he was solid. But I will say I pay closest
to clail willmbs this year. And yes, it's so instant
he's there. But Ben Johnson has at least got that
kid at least. Yeah, you know, stable, stabilized like the

(38:57):
the off the off the key, the the off key
runs he makes and stuff. For example, the scrambling last
year was it was just chaos. This year is less chaotic,
like is actually more a purpose now when he was
in the scrambling, I feel like it's more purpose and more.
He looks much more of homes like now than he
did last year in terms of making those plays. So

(39:20):
I would go Daniels by a smidge one, Drake May two,
kill Win's three, and Votex four. I that's the other
year Jayden was. I know we have obviously we obviously
going you know, Recly Bias. Jan Niels was so fucking
good last year. I can't forget that either.

Speaker 6 (39:41):
He was.

Speaker 5 (39:42):
But you here, here's something else.

Speaker 6 (39:45):
He had three games in a row early in the
season where his completion percentage was over eighty percent. M
he finished under sixty five percent passing. So he has
massive highs that are incredible. But then you go back

(40:06):
and look at those games last year. We were pulling
out squeaker after squeaker after squeaker after squeaker.

Speaker 4 (40:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (40:15):
So again, when it's a toss up game, it's easy
to lose the next season on the toss up games.

Speaker 6 (40:24):
If I were to ask you, of those four quarterbacks
everyone comes in next season healthy, who do you think
gets hurt?

Speaker 4 (40:34):
Well, obviously j Daniel be a favorite to get hurt.

Speaker 5 (40:37):
Okay, Yeah, and that's gonna be his whole career.

Speaker 4 (40:42):
Well, hopefully he's not, but rist sake, but we'll see.
Like there's definitely the RG three.

Speaker 6 (40:48):
Sons, three sons, Lamar signs, Joe Burrows signs he is
gonna get hurt.

Speaker 4 (40:57):
Yeah, I think made the better long play here, and
we'll see. I was just this ends up though, because
the dat make falls off a cliff by end of
the year, then we'll not have its conversation.

Speaker 6 (41:09):
Yeah, but if he's if he stays at the exact
same trajectory he's having right now, he's having one of
the greatest completion percentage seasons in the history of the league.

Speaker 4 (41:19):
Right and his best receive with Steve Stephan Diggs was
not that great anymore. It's okay, but it's not like,
you know, he's not lead anymore.

Speaker 5 (41:27):
Would going into the season, did you even think he
was okay?

Speaker 4 (41:31):
Who d me?

Speaker 5 (41:32):
No, Stefan Diggs.

Speaker 4 (41:34):
I thought his last likes honestly, and with that you
can really better on anything. So yeah, more or less
I have to give him credit. Kill Wims is coming, though,
I will say kill Mombs is starting to figure it out, man,
So I'm gonna say I agree with that one to
we all agree with both. Nick's is the distant fourth
of the buncher, you know, so, but something okay, because

(41:58):
this actually is actually gonna be a turning off. You'll
be one of the better classes the quarterback teams we
had a long time. So we'll say, I'm assuming that
assuming Janiel can stay healthy, PEDICX Junior can stay healthy.
Obviously got hurt. This a c L situation, but we'll see,
we'll see.

Speaker 5 (42:12):
Yeah, so it's gonna be a third a c L. Yeah,
another surgery.

Speaker 4 (42:18):
Atlanta has a lot of issues to worry about. So anyway, Zach,
go up with your picks and we'll talk to you
next week.

Speaker 5 (42:24):
You too, man, Good luck, all.

Speaker 4 (42:25):
Right, brother, take it easy. Later later,

Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant.
