Claire Miller @NSWIrrigators says the Albanese government's attempt to buy back water in the #NSW Murray is unnecessary

In late March the water minister Tanya Plibersek announced a buyback program from irrigators of water for the environment in the Murray-Darling Basin, largely in New South Wales waterways, including a 10 gigalitre recovery program in the NSW Murray. We speak with the CEO of the NSW Irrigators Council about her organisation's view on that proposal, reaction to the snap consultations on the buyback program in the affected river valleys, and what they expect from an incoming Minns Labor government on water policy.
