Speaker 1 (00:00):
There we go, Hello and welcome to GHV. Spotlight is
Sunday and you see him away Sunday. He shows off
the rails already. But this is what we do every
week for you. For the last ten years. We've been
doing this. Hi, I'm James Lot Junior. And of course
we got mister Frank Moran with me. Hi Frank. Everybody
(00:22):
there and of course I mentioned I mentioned him. You
guys are so excited we brought him on. The man
you love to hate but love to love also Color
wrote time. So Carlo, tell them, folks what you're doing
out there right now? By thinking what is he doing?
Speaker 2 (00:41):
Well, I you know, I normally don't do.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
High end interviews this way, but I had like a
crazy busy morning. We had to do a couple of
editions this morning, and and I've got twelve people coming
over for lunch. So I'm just finishing off a dish.
This is a Zucchini Incrpione, which is zucchini.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
I'm gonna show you what I've done.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
I've cut zucchini and I've put them on the plancha.
I'm also essentially caramelizing some onion. The zucchini will go
in this in this container, this Dutch oven, and then
I will add some olive oil, lemon juice, a little garlic,
and some dissolved anchovy and let that sit for a
(01:32):
let it cool.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
It can be served at room temperature. It's fine.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
And it's a beautiful summertime dish. And you know you
can have just that if you wanted to. You canna
have that beautiful bit of bread, crusty bread. But we're
gonna be serving it with a whole unt a bunch
of other things. My wife, my beautiful wife, who is
also very talented in the kitchen and is also Indian,
has made a just made an amazing accurry with shrimp.
(02:02):
There's a few other things. There's a there's a fennels salad. Uh,
There's there's a bunch of other things that We've got
twelve people coming over. So, like I said, I got
I had a crazy busy morning and I just thought
I'll put the finishing touches on this dish.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
While being interviewed, the.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
Chat is like they're hungry. Now. The chat's like, we're hungry.
It sounds good. They're saying hi to you. They're like
they're hungry. We're all hungry.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
Now, well, come over, come over, let's this.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
We post your address.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
Yeah, yeah, that's a good idea.
Speaker 4 (02:40):
Carlo. Just to start, I know that you you hosted
the Great Canadian Food Show?
Speaker 2 (02:44):
Yes, I did.
Speaker 4 (02:45):
So what was it like to tour Canada through like
a culinary perspective?
Speaker 2 (02:50):
Well, it was fantastic, you know that show.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
The way that show started off was it started as
as a very traditional sort of food show where I
would go meet people in the food business, you know,
whether they be farmers, chef's, hoteliers.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
Or whatever.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
And it was very traditional, you know, be like, Hi,
I'm Carlo Rocher. I'm standing here with chef blah blah blah.
Hi chef, blah blah blah. What are you cooking for
us today? And then I realized, wait a second. The guy,
you know, the guy that produced the show. I said
to him, Chris Chris Night. I said, look, Chris said,
(03:27):
you know, you've hired a guy that knows a little
bit about food.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
But I'm basically an actor. Why don't we.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
Why don't we like hush things up by making this
like a story. I can act some of this food show.
Like so, for example, Paul, you know, we did a
bunch of shows where I had been told I report
to the audience that I've been told by my therapist
that I need to leave town after a major relationship
(03:57):
breakup and need to get as far away as possible.
So you know, we go to Gimli, Manitoba, or we
go to some far off, far flung place in Canada,
and you know, then it becomes like the murder she
wrote of Food, where I arrive somewhere wanting to get away,
(04:18):
and what happens.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
Food happens. You know. So but it was a fantastic experience.
Speaker 3 (04:25):
I did that show for I think six seasons, and
I toured Canada from coast to coast to coast and
really discovered Canada because I'd been in Canada for a while.
But you know, Canadians tend to not travel much within
their own country, and so it's rare that you just
go like, oh, I'll go to discover Saskatchewan. I'll go
(04:48):
to discover the interior of Quebec. And I was able
to do all those things and I'm telling you, spectacular country.
Ah just loved it. It was a It was a fantastic,
memorable experience. I will never forget, you know, I'll never
forget it now. Of course, my lifestyle was different at
(05:10):
the time. I was semi single and I had no kids,
so and we were I was away a lot, we
were on the road a lot, right, So I'm not
sure if I'd be able to do the same thing now,
But I just loved it.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
It was a it was a really great experience.
Speaker 4 (05:30):
In a country that vast culinary wise. Are there more
differences or similarities between the types of food and experiences
you had across across Canada?
Speaker 2 (05:40):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (05:40):
Yeah, there's there's vast differences in culinary experiences, you know. Obviously,
one of the best places to shoot is the province
of Quebec, where there is there is a very varied,
beautiful and an older culinary tradition. You know, anywhere you
go in Quebec, you're going to find something really interesting
(06:02):
when it comes to food. Other provinces, you know, uh,
you know, like, but but still like, you know, there's
still there's something fantastic everywhere. It's just that some promises
you have to dig a little deeper, you know. You know,
we shot in Newfoundland a number of times, and we
(06:23):
unfortunately we went to Newfoundland once to shoot a whole
show about cod and uh, and then we get there
and then there was a moratorium on on on catching
cod because of the scarcity of the cod. So like
then like we go, okay, so there's no cord, So
what do we do? We have to make up a show.
So we had to, like you know, we did a
(06:45):
we did something about berries, and we did we we
we eventually found some cord. I speak Newfoundland. I'm not
sure if you know that. Ah, but I loved it.
I loved doing the show. Like I said, it was
just illuminating to me, the vast expanse of Canada. It's
(07:08):
various people, and you know, because of course I don't
sound like I'm Canadian, even though I do have a
they actually gave me a Canadian passport.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
At some point.
Speaker 3 (07:20):
I'm not sure how I managed to sing that they
also gave me a US passport. Again, I'm not sure how,
but but the point is I don't sound Canadian, so
so it's interesting. I tour Canada and people will treat
me like oh, visitor, right, and so that they you know,
I would get great explanation of culture and history and
(07:44):
food from people, and and as a.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
Result, what can I say, it was just it was amazing.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
It was an amazing time, busy time as an actor,
and just as I said, illuminating.
Speaker 1 (07:59):
I've been to Montreal and I've been to Quebec City, right, yeah,
and I enjoyed the food there. And I've been to Vancouver,
which has great Chinese food.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
Vancouver's Vancouver's Choco Block with food.
Speaker 3 (08:14):
Uh, there's a there's obviously, Yes, you're right, there's a
multiple versions, multiple Asian cultures in Vancouver, Indian of course, Chinese, Japanese,
and you can find a lot in Vancouver. Great culinary
tradition in Vancouver. Quebec City is well, I mean it's
(08:37):
a very special place. It's the only walled city in
North America and built during a time when everyone was
still afraid of being attacked.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
So you know, it's a it's it's built.
Speaker 3 (08:51):
On a on a spoke wheel and spoke thing and
and with a wall and and so very special place,
super romantic. You know, if ever you want to romance someone,
take him to Gebec City.
Speaker 1 (09:10):
Agree with that. I went alone, but I agree with
you that.
Speaker 3 (09:13):
Yes, well you know what, for some reason or other,
just you telling this story makes me feel unusually romantic
towards you.
Speaker 1 (09:21):
There it works, Okay, then it works. Nobody works. It works,
it works, everybody works. He's married.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
It worked.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
It's totally worked. And well, I want to actually lead
with that because it's very interesting you and your and
your beautiful wife, who's doing great work on your hospital too,
Who got hired first? And how that all happened? Did
you guys know? You guys auditioned separately together.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
It's actually a very it's kind of an interesting uh,
it's kind of an interesting little, you know, a sequence
of events. So I auditioned for the show a year
like so, I've been on the show now for about
a year.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
A year. I know, it's incredible.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
And I auditioned for the show a year earlier than
I started. So I started last September, and I auditioned
I think the August before that or September, and I
auditioned for a different character. And it was a phenomenal
audition for me, because I'm sure you're aware that us
(10:23):
actors these days, we don't go into additions anymore. We
do everything at home and but but general hospital. It
was an in person audition in front of Frank Valentini,
you know, the Uber showrunner of all Time, and uh
and and and and the other producers. And it was thrilling.
(10:47):
I was walking into people. I mean, the reason why
I came to LA was to be to be able
to audition. When they yanked when they yanked the auditioning
thing from us, it's like it was like losing a limb,
for Heaven's sakes.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
So I was thrilled. And I auditioned with Laura Wright.
Oh she was she. I walked in. It was her.
Speaker 3 (11:11):
I was auditioning with. It was a scene that they
had written. I was auditioning with her. And she is
a force of nature. Like when I see her walking
down the corridors in on General Hospital, I have to
put my sunglasses on. So I've been in front of her.
(11:31):
I've been in front of her. Yeah, she's like she's
she's something else. Man, She's I don't know. I don't
think she's from this planet. So so you know, she
like she she makes everyone's legs weak Heaven's sake.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
So so Uh.
Speaker 3 (11:48):
I auditioned and it was a beautiful audition. Like I said,
I walked in. I was so happy to be there,
so happy to be in front of people. Uh, Frank,
who essentially makes all pretty much all the decisions, was
looking at me very stony faced.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
There was not much in a way of like hmm, okay,
I got nothing from him. But but I loved the addition,
loved saying hello to everyone, loved seeing Laura left very happy.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
Didn't get that part.
Speaker 3 (12:23):
A year later, I get a call from my manager saying, oh,
they'd like to bring you on to General Hospital for
like three or four episodes.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
And I said great.
Speaker 3 (12:37):
I said, well it's not the same, not from that
same addition, surely goes no, No, a completely different part.
Speaker 2 (12:43):
You know.
Speaker 3 (12:43):
Apparently there's this new part that came up and Mark Tesla,
the casting a guy there, the head of casting. He
said to Frank, what about that guy Carlo remember him?
And Frank said, oh yeah, yeah sure.
Speaker 2 (12:58):
So I went on. I did I want four or
five episodes?
Speaker 3 (13:03):
And I think it was like the fourth or fifth
episode that Frank came up to me goes, hey, guess
what I think You're going to be coming to Port
Charles to commit some mischief, right. I'm like, great, So
there I am. Now I'm now in Port Charles. I'm like,
I'm in the show. I'm in Port Charles. Now what
do I do? I have my mother in law visiting
(13:24):
from Canada, Nasne's mum, and she is a so fan
of the show Massive, Like she knows everything about the show.
Speaker 2 (13:32):
She knows all the characters.
Speaker 3 (13:33):
If I don't know something that's going on in the show,
I'd phone her and say this guy blah blah blah,
do you know And She'll go, oh, yes, he had
a child with her and then he left her, and
then he had an affair with her. Like she knows everything.
And so she came to visit and I said, do
you want to go?
Speaker 2 (13:53):
U just Set? And She's like, do I want to
go Set? Like are you talking about? So?
Speaker 3 (14:00):
So I arranged a visit to Set and I brought Nasany,
my mother and law, and Nasany we go with, We
visit Set, We have a great time. Frank sees Nsani
and says, who are you? And so I'm Carlo's wife
and he goes, your Carlo's wife, and I'm like, yeah, Frank,
(14:24):
I'm not the ogre that lived under the bridge. I
mean I can have a wife, sax. So he goes,
she's your wife, Well, she has to be on the
Show's that simple, Okay.
Speaker 2 (14:36):
And so they wrote her onto the show.
Speaker 1 (14:38):
Oh my wow, that is crazy talk. Yeah, and I'm
still married to Frank too, so there.
Speaker 3 (14:45):
Yeah, but listen, the deal is that, you know, we
both love it. In fact, I think our storyline is
actually building now. And and uh, it's been a fantastic year.
There's been a super fantastic year.
Speaker 1 (15:01):
Yeah. No, she's good. I want her on the show
too at some point, So we'll talk about that later.
I want her on the show too, Yeah, totally later. No, No,
I'm not sure what she'll be cooking when she's on this.
I love it. Food ain't kind of food bringing. I
always going everbody's a chance going Wow, No, that's amazing.
She got discovered coming on the on the sets with you.
Speaker 3 (15:23):
Now, I have to say that she is a very
discoverable person because she's actually done quite a lot. Okay,
you know, she's she's She's been leads in a bunch
of different films. She she did a number of sort
of hallmark like films. Yeah, she's quite she's people that
(15:47):
people that know her know her like she's she she's
I think I would quite easily say she's more famous
than I am.
Speaker 2 (15:57):
Whatever that means.
Speaker 1 (15:58):
There are people bring up twenty four Yeah, I mean,
I mean that was my show too, folks, that's my
show too. No, I mean, here's the here's me about you, Carlo.
We'll go back to you for a second. You your look.
I love your look. I used to have a shaved
head and beard and all that back in the day.
You have because you look different than the other folks
on the show.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
And yeah, I know.
Speaker 3 (16:19):
Well, I that's the thing I said to people when
I was on. When I got on the show, I said,
last thing I expected to be is on this type
of show.
Speaker 2 (16:29):
And they're like, well, because don't you have to be like.
Speaker 1 (16:33):
Good hair and you know all that stuff, right.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
And then don't you have to have like this kind
of a.
Speaker 1 (16:41):
Look, cold steel right, blue steel?
Speaker 4 (16:46):
Right?
Speaker 2 (16:47):
I said, you know, I said, I don't. That's not me.
Speaker 3 (16:50):
And and people by like we're talking about I think
it's a perfect fit. I'm like, I don't know, but
but I can tell you that regardless of how they look,
the other people on the show are really good at
their jobs.
Speaker 1 (17:05):
Oh well, well that's the thing. Are you used to
the soap paced yet? Million in a year?
Speaker 2 (17:09):
No, I don't think you ever get used to it.
Speaker 3 (17:12):
You just hang on. You just hang on and and
and hope that somehow a performance comes out, and sometimes,
by the grace of God, it does, you know. But honestly,
I think I think it's more less technique and more
bloody philosophical or spiritual because it's too fast. You cannot
(17:32):
you cannot, uh, you know, any anything else you do.
You'll have at least two or three takes exactly right,
and you may even have a rehearsal right right.
Speaker 2 (17:45):
On General Hospital.
Speaker 3 (17:46):
You go, you block a scene with your with your
your lines, with your sides, and then and then you
go back and when they're actually shooting it, you you
you'll you reblock it and then they shoot it and
they and that's it. Boom, one take. They're not very
happy when you dry in your lines, which I sometimes do,
(18:07):
and uh, you're drying your lines and they have to
retake the scene, or what they'll do is they'll just
stop and go, we'll pick it up here, okay, right,
which is possible to do because they've got four cameras
pointing out the set. And so yeah, I mean it
is breakneck when I when I when I when I
(18:28):
after after the first four or five episodes, I'd come home.
Speaker 2 (18:31):
I was exhausted.
Speaker 1 (18:34):
I'm sure, I'm sure, but.
Speaker 2 (18:36):
Not because I've done that much work.
Speaker 3 (18:37):
It's just that your brain is working at a at
a rate that you can you cannot comprehend, and it's
never worked before. Just to try and keep up, It's
like you're holding on to a fast moving train and
trying to deliver a message through a window with the
with the with the wind, you're howling, right, that.
Speaker 2 (18:58):
Is what it's like.
Speaker 3 (19:00):
And you know, and so the fact that all these
people that are on that show gives i mean very
often very excellent performances. It's like, I gotta say, my
first impression was, well, I was like I would be
the guy on the sidelines. Honestly, I'd be like, we
look at Pember would look at me and go like,
what are you doing?
Speaker 2 (19:20):
I'm like, fantastic, guys.
Speaker 1 (19:22):
That was absolutely fantastic, exactly, And I mean they're good,
I mean are they really are good? And the crew
the crew is amazing. I mean they're switching things out
and and MOVA.
Speaker 3 (19:35):
So the the unhralded A champions are the crew who
work long days and who you essentially performed to. Right,
if you can make the crew laugh, that is a
good day because they have seen everything.
Speaker 5 (19:54):
Right, I'm not saying they're jaded, right, saying they're jaded. No,
I'm just saying that they have seen it all fifteen
thousand times. So if you actually get a reaction from
the crew, you've done something. Also, not just the crew,
(20:15):
but the set guys. They work all night, they swap
out these sets. You're in one day.
Speaker 3 (20:24):
It's there's a whole bunch of sets up. You come
back the next day, it's a whole bunch of different sets.
These are complicated sets. There's swimming pools, there's ears, there's
like my mind's in Somalia. No, it's like I honestly,
if I'm working in the morning and the set guys
(20:47):
are just leaving again, I'm like they're going, yeah, like
what are you doing?
Speaker 2 (20:53):
What's your problem?
Speaker 1 (20:54):
Like it's brilliant, I'm clapping for you. They're like, we're
going home. I'm going home, Frank now your back. Go ahead.
Speaker 4 (21:03):
And Carl, I know that you mentioned before we started
rolling that seeing fans and conventions and saying that they want, uh,
they want to like you. But you do such despicable things.
Speaker 2 (21:13):
Yes, yes, uh for you.
Speaker 4 (21:15):
I feel I feel like that's the sweet spot of
somebody that's maybe more of a villain on the show.
Is that if you want to still, especially be a
long running one. Yes, you can't just be just mustache
twirling the whole time.
Speaker 2 (21:27):
No humanity to you, right, Well, I will credit the writers.
Speaker 3 (21:34):
They write in some very human stuff, you know, for gens,
you know, he's he.
Speaker 2 (21:41):
They may be all.
Speaker 3 (21:42):
They may be always some far reaching, underhanded reason for
some of the stuff he does. But he does some
kind things, you know. He he financed the nurse's ball.
You know, he's uh, he loves his son, he's uh.
He has empathy. You may not always see it, but yes,
(22:07):
you know, I don't know how long I'll be on
the show, And quite frankly, some of the stuff I've
done lately makes me go ooh, I don't know if
there's any.
Speaker 2 (22:17):
I don't know if there's any coming back from that, Like,
how do you like?
Speaker 3 (22:22):
Go, Well, he wasn't that bad, really, you know, So
I don't know, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (22:29):
I mean, I'm just I'm just I've just had a
blast over.
Speaker 3 (22:33):
The last year and I'll continue the journey as long
as I'm allowed to continue the journey.
Speaker 4 (22:39):
For you, do you want to know the long term
story arc for Sidwell or do you prefer just discovering
it in the script and then having me come up and
adjust your performance accordingly.
Speaker 2 (22:49):
Well, there's two things there.
Speaker 3 (22:50):
First of all, no one knows, because I have asked
things like because there have been times when I may
have been in a scene and then a few episodes
down the road something's happened, and I'll go, well, if
I han't known that this was going to happen, I
would have played that scene differently, right, So sometimes I
(23:11):
will ask, I go like, why am I? Is there
anything I should know about this scene? And you know what,
the answer is invariably like, ah, you know how it's
fast when you're shooting, and well, it's kind of fast
when we're writing.
Speaker 2 (23:23):
Do and things can chop and change.
Speaker 3 (23:27):
They may have a broad plan, but you know, they
have a macro. They may have but they may have
a micro but that may change. There's they just don't know,
and you know it's it's it is kind of fun.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
To get your scripts.
Speaker 3 (23:44):
They get emailed a few days before you shoot, which
gives you, hopefully enough time to learn these lines. H
Sometimes there's so many, Like I think one one day,
I did five episodes in one day. My entire kitchen
was wallpapered with general hospital scripts. The wall papered and
(24:07):
it was like that for days. People would come over
and go, what the going on.
Speaker 2 (24:14):
To go have you is this like a thing? I'm like, no,
it's my my scripts.
Speaker 3 (24:18):
And the actors that came over that saw that would
be like, holy, that's a lot.
Speaker 2 (24:27):
So yeah, you really have to, like you clearly have
to clear a head.
Speaker 3 (24:31):
You get up early, you start learning, you start learning,
you start, but you can only learn for so long
in the day because your brain sort of fries, and
then you try and do it the next day and
the next day, and then I run it.
Speaker 2 (24:42):
I'll run it with my.
Speaker 3 (24:43):
Wife and I still will sometimes get on set and like,
I have forgotten what's that.
Speaker 2 (24:53):
Line? Line? Oh?
Speaker 1 (24:58):
Great, ad?
Speaker 4 (25:00):
Sorry, I'm just gonna ask. Speaking of the writing, have
you like, as the longer you've been on the show
that the writers kind of adapted to what you're bringing
to the character.
Speaker 2 (25:09):
You see that working in Absolutely they're like, I don't
know what happens in that writing room.
Speaker 3 (25:15):
I have this, I have this sort of I don't know,
but i'd call it this enthusiastic belief that they do
very very exotic.
Speaker 2 (25:28):
Ed bulls and and they're.
Speaker 3 (25:34):
Like, Okay, that Carlo man, he's friendly, right, Okay, We're
gonna write a scene where he's really friendly. And then
he picks up the phone and he says, kill them all,
you know, And uh so, yeah, they totally they totally
(26:00):
react to that.
Speaker 1 (26:01):
Uh huh.
Speaker 3 (26:02):
And I have to say, I'm always thrilled when I
see these scripts come over email. Both my wife and
I want there was the same things, like the email,
dang email, like, oh, ship to the hospital?
Speaker 2 (26:15):
Do you know? Do you know what I'm doing? Do
you know what I'm doing?
Speaker 1 (26:23):
Well, Carlo Bell was gonna say, because you know, we're
all friends of MO and for us at home as
Marie Bernard, your wife is entering a storyline and they're
pushing very hard. They have those two together.
Speaker 2 (26:37):
Yeah, I'm not show what's going on there.
Speaker 1 (26:39):
Yeah, but as an actor on the same show as
your wife, Yeah, how do you how do you even
handle that kind of stuff you're asking.
Speaker 2 (26:46):
You're asking about the mother of my children.
Speaker 3 (26:48):
Yeah, there's only there's only one man's grabby hands. I
want my wife, and that is the Postman Filipino post. Okay, listen,
this is the nature of the beast right. I mean,
you know, my wife goes off and does romantic storylines
(27:12):
for a living, right. I'm like, I'm always She's like,
let's watch the show I was in. I was like, Okay,
let's have a wondering and watch you falling in love
with some guy and like, wow, he's actually really good looking.
Speaker 2 (27:22):
Oh my god, Okay, wow, he's got great hair.
Speaker 3 (27:30):
This is the nature of the beast Man. This is
what you signed up for. I don't know. I mean,
I feel like, uh yeah, that's the way they want
to send that story.
Speaker 2 (27:40):
What am I supposed to do about it? I just
have to go in and there, I.
Speaker 1 (27:43):
Guess Carlo and with Sidwell, they seem like they've hinted
you in Lucy this whole time.
Speaker 3 (27:50):
Yes they have, I know, And you know what, I'm
not sure exactly what the deal is there. I'm not
sure if it's already aired, but I do kiss her once.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
Anyway.
Speaker 3 (28:06):
The point is, first of all, uh Lynn, it's phenomenal
on on on set. Yea she has an acting method
that blows me away. It's like I always think she's
forgotten her lines, but she hasn't. She's just so natural
(28:27):
and so compelling. It's a and Up said this to her.
I said, it's an absolute pleasure working with her. It's
so great. Now where that storyline is going to go,
I don't know. I mean, I'm a little bit of
a betraying bastard, you know.
Speaker 1 (28:46):
But and then you're surrounded by the beautiful Nise Harper.
I mean I've seen her in person. She she slopped stop.
Speaker 3 (28:55):
I mean, I tell Tanisha, I go like, can you
stand a little further away from me? And she's like why,
I said, because you're too tall and you're too beautiful,
and you're making me look like a hobbit.
Speaker 1 (29:17):
I mean, I've seen her in person. She just glides
across rooms. She's just so pretty.
Speaker 3 (29:21):
I remember the first time I saw Tannisia. Sorry, I
just checking on my onions. I remember the first time
I saw Tannisia. She was walking up the stairs. I
was walking down the.
Speaker 1 (29:32):
Stairs, and.
Speaker 3 (29:36):
I was like, that is an impossible looking woman. That's impossible.
Again again, Tannisia is probably not of this planet.
Speaker 1 (29:44):
Yeah, I agree with you, Frank.
Speaker 4 (29:50):
I want to ask you a little bit about past
because feel like my introduction to you was maybe for
a lot of people, it was twenty four.
Speaker 2 (29:56):
Yeah, yeah, great, great time for you.
Speaker 4 (30:02):
What is when you were out are Yeah, you've only
been on a gh for a little bit.
Speaker 2 (30:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (30:07):
In terms of what do you get most recognized for
the fans coming up to you talking twenty four.
Speaker 3 (30:12):
No, funny enough, it's a bunch of different things. First
of all, people say I have a relatively distinctive voice,
so they they like they will recognize me often when
I speak. And uh, you know, I've done a whole
bunch of quite well received video games. Uh, so people
(30:35):
will know me from those. I think the biggest one,
uh well, Mafia just came out. But uh yes, come on,
come on, it's there, it's there.
Speaker 4 (30:50):
I don't watch games in the Indiana Jones film, in
the game, yes.
Speaker 2 (30:54):
Indiana Jones game, and also.
Speaker 3 (31:00):
Valhalla, uh yeah, Assassin's Creed, Valhalla. But when it comes
to the visual stuff, you know, yeah, twenty four is
a big one. Do you know the film Boondocks Saints? Yeah, yeah,
that one, that's a big one. That's a big one.
(31:22):
In fact, that one is probably the one that people
go most crazy for because it was it had such
cult status for a long time. And in that film,
I say some really really despicable things, which I will
not say on your show, But one of the things
(31:43):
I say uses the word insignificant, but I changed the
ending to sound more like an anatomical part.
Speaker 1 (31:56):
Oh got it, Yes, I got it, I got it.
Speaker 2 (32:01):
So and it's a very famous quote, like it was
Huffington Post's.
Speaker 3 (32:06):
Top twenty insults like film like insults. I'm on the
phone and I'm talking to someone, and so I'd get
guys coming up to me, going, can you I'm gonna
phone my mom? Can you please say the insignificant line?
(32:28):
As I like high and then say it. I'm like,
do your mom?
Speaker 1 (32:32):
Your mother?
Speaker 3 (32:34):
And I'm They're like, yeah, they actually love you in
this film, man, they love you in this film.
Speaker 4 (32:43):
I know when you first came on, I mean it's
like the way you know you're gonna be sticking around.
Did you get a place to live? And they show it, Yeah,
you start getting family, which yeah, Marco, but then you
also had Natalia and LaRue playing out. Yeah you're so short.
Speaker 1 (33:01):
I know.
Speaker 3 (33:02):
I was sad about that, because you know what, I
had a real quite a lot of fire with Natalia.
Speaker 2 (33:07):
She was really great to work with. We really hit
it off.
Speaker 3 (33:10):
We had a great shimpatico there, and and we like
really let loose on each other.
Speaker 2 (33:15):
Right, it was great. It was really emotional and uh.
Speaker 3 (33:19):
And you know, and getting back to what I was
saying about the rapidity of shooting, if you've actually come
out with a performance, it's a little miracle.
Speaker 2 (33:25):
And I found that I used to do that with
her a lot. And uh.
Speaker 3 (33:29):
And then the next thing I find out is, you know, yeah,
she's gonna be leaving, which I was sad about.
Speaker 2 (33:36):
I was very sad about.
Speaker 1 (33:37):
You had one scene that it was towards me game
when you she's confronting you. Yeah, very docile effort. She's
kind of talking to her, playing around, But then you
switch and get very serious. Yeah, ark right back here.
You will never tell me yes, And we all jumped.
We're like, oh my god.
Speaker 2 (33:56):
I know. And I don't know even know where that
came from. It just came out.
Speaker 3 (33:59):
This is what I'm saying about the performing on General Hospital.
Sometimes it's not technical, it's just it's spiritual. And I
don't mean to say I flaking when I say that.
It sometimes just comes out of the blue, right, It
comes out of the necessity of, like I said, trying
to come up with something when you're hanging onto this
fast moving train with the wind and.
Speaker 2 (34:21):
The burn the windows and the noise.
Speaker 3 (34:23):
And it just comes out and then and you know,
and what's interesting, as I said earlier, when the crew
notices your performance they did that day, right, they were like.
Speaker 4 (34:36):
That was.
Speaker 3 (34:38):
Good, you know, and you go like and then you
go home going like thank you, thank you. It's like
it's like you're sotting well talking to the Almighty or something. Right,
It's like it's like you've opened up a portal. You
come home feeling like you've actually accomplished something, which is
(35:00):
not always the case. Hasn't sometimes you come up gun today, you.
Speaker 1 (35:07):
Know, But that one gave us a glimpse that there
was something more going on with that relationship.
Speaker 3 (35:14):
Was like, oh, I know, that's That's why I was
hoping that it would like continue and would delve further
into it.
Speaker 2 (35:22):
But what I guess what I.
Speaker 4 (35:25):
Like about that is that Sidwell, who we've seen, seems
to be even though he's doing nefarious things at times.
It has a general control of stuff. But it felt
like from that dynamic and that little bit that we
saw that something he had been aggrieved, something had happened
to him.
Speaker 2 (35:42):
Yeah, definitely, definitely.
Speaker 4 (35:44):
I was really curious to see sidwell as kind of
necessarily the victim, but as the person who had been
done wrong.
Speaker 2 (35:50):
Yes, done done wrong exactly.
Speaker 3 (35:52):
There was a there was a there was an anger,
but there was a vulnerability in the anger, uh that
I didn't know at the time. People tell me that
I had seen it, and uh and I thought, that's
still great because it speaks to a greater event that's happened.
It's not in the writing. Uh and and and it
fills in for people. It fills in some really great
(36:13):
gaps uh and and and then makes it come alive.
Speaker 2 (36:17):
You know, it makes the whole, which is really you know,
really what you want to.
Speaker 3 (36:21):
Or anytime you're performing on anything, you just want it
to become alive for people. You want it to be
compelling to them. You want them to feel the fricking
life in it, right.
Speaker 1 (36:33):
Uh you know what you know, Carlo, another thing that
about your character and I just wonder what your thoughts
on this are your son is openly gain on the show,
but civil is always accepted. Apparently, Apparently Sidwell's like, I
love my son, That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (36:50):
It's like he has he has. Sidwell's a complicated dude.
You know, he has empathy, he has loves, he has
has hurt. At least that's the way I hope I'm
playing it.
Speaker 2 (37:08):
Some people.
Speaker 3 (37:09):
You know, it's so funny with the fans. There's fans
are so invested in the show of this show more
than any other show I've been on. They're so invested
in it they feel like it's actually their reality. And
so therefore, if you're if you are doing dastardly deeds,
first of all, they feel like, well, I cannot like him.
(37:31):
I have to hate him. And then on top of that,
they're like, he has to go, he has to go.
Speaker 2 (37:42):
You know.
Speaker 3 (37:43):
It's like I had a I had a long chat
with Cameron, who I've also been lucky enough to have
a few scenes with. And that's another that's anoother guy
that brings some fantastic energy to his scenes.
Speaker 2 (37:55):
Fantastic.
Speaker 3 (37:57):
But you know, since Drew has become this like bad boy,
bad decision making guys, like he said, he told me,
he said, you know what, sometimes I go home feeling
like I'm public enemy number one because you know, you
cannot help but read some of this stuff when you
(38:17):
get Google alerted, right, and he's like, they all hate me,
they all hate me. I'm like, I don't think they
actually hate you. And then I read the next Google
alert It's like, we hate Drew.
Speaker 4 (38:40):
Well, so I didn't enjoy the scene last week between
you and Cameron where Drew threatened sitwell, I'm like, that
seems to be just the worst decision, right you could.
Speaker 3 (38:52):
I know, I know, and then and then I don't know.
I don't know where the show is, so I'm not
sure how much I can say.
Speaker 1 (38:58):
Uh, okay, right now, we're at the point, Frank, we're
at the point where that's interesting. He just right now
he's planning something against Michael right right, the whole the
whole bad thing. But that's it. We're not anything further.
We have got any further than we're.
Speaker 3 (39:15):
Probably about what I was about to say, I'm not
going to say, because we're about five weeks behind you guys,
feel me, yeah.
Speaker 2 (39:23):
Yeah, but.
Speaker 4 (39:26):
We should take him mom with that to do a
Jane Elliott appreciation moment for a sec Fantastic scenes with
Jane Elliott.
Speaker 3 (39:35):
Soup great, so great, great, she is.
Speaker 1 (39:39):
We love her.
Speaker 2 (39:41):
And you know what, she is so funny. She cracks
me up.
Speaker 3 (39:51):
I can't help but do scenes with her with a
semi smile on my face.
Speaker 1 (39:54):
You all till you you can tell because she's like.
Speaker 3 (40:08):
And I'm like, oh my god, it's fantastic, man, it's fantastic.
And you know what I got to say, because I
cannot speak about the show without saying this. Some of
these people have been doing it for freaking decades, man.
Speaker 2 (40:22):
Decades, and they still have this.
Speaker 3 (40:27):
Nuclear motor that allows them to be enthusiastic, to give
a performance, to be compelling. And unlike many shows where
people have been on it for a long time, there's
an extraordinary amount of kindness on General Hospital.
Speaker 2 (40:47):
I have not perceived.
Speaker 3 (40:49):
I mean, maybe behind my back when I'm not you know,
when I'm looking somewhere else, they're like, it's an asshole.
But I've not perceived the kind of toxicity that sometimes
creeps into the television making process for very understandable reasons,
when people have been on the show for a long time,
(41:09):
you know, maybe somebody thinks they're not getting enough pots
the spotlights. Somebody thinks they should be the lead. So
many thinks that they shouldn't be the lead.
Speaker 2 (41:18):
I don't know. Somebody thinks the storyline is not good.
Speaker 3 (41:20):
General Hospital seems to be to be blissfully clear of that,
and I don't know whether that's I think that that's
a maybe that's a Frank Valentini thing.
Speaker 2 (41:30):
I think he's like he lays down the law man.
Speaker 3 (41:33):
That guy's like a He's like I told him once,
I said, I said you should give show running lessons,
and he's like, yeah, you think I have time?
Speaker 1 (41:44):
That's it. That's Frank. I mean, he runs a tight ship.
That's why his show's on the area.
Speaker 3 (41:48):
Really is the quintessential show runner. He comes on set
and he's like that, what's that like doing there? Why
is she wearing those heels? What's you know?
Speaker 2 (41:58):
He's like, he's on it. He's on it.
Speaker 3 (42:02):
I've never seen anything like it, tell you the truth,
I don't know how he does it.
Speaker 2 (42:06):
I don't know how he does it.
Speaker 1 (42:09):
Right.
Speaker 4 (42:09):
Speaking of behind the scenes of GH, do you have
an unsung hero, somebody from behind the scenes that fans
that don't know about, but you think is just so
crucial to making the show run as well as it does.
Speaker 3 (42:23):
Oh my god, you have put me on the spot
here because there are many of them, you know, all
the first ads who call out, who actually run the
day and caught so you get called up to set right, and.
Speaker 2 (42:45):
And there is also.
Speaker 3 (42:49):
You know what, I'm so sorry, I'm gonna get murdered
for this because I've forgotten his name. But there's a
guy that actually is one of the guys that is responsible.
Speaker 2 (43:01):
For making sure that the sets are.
Speaker 3 (43:05):
You know, like perfect, and it's a phenomenal job.
Speaker 2 (43:12):
I mean, have you have you either of your guys
been to set?
Speaker 1 (43:15):
I have?
Speaker 2 (43:17):
Okay, so you've seen the sets.
Speaker 3 (43:20):
They're incredible, right, they are absolutely incredible, and they change
every day. I'm gonna get murdered for not having these names,
you know what.
Speaker 2 (43:33):
Blame it on this.
Speaker 1 (43:35):
There you go, yes, there you go. But we're talking
about people, you're talking they should know who they are.
They know who they are. You're talking about the you
know who, they know who they are.
Speaker 2 (43:41):
I can't say their names for privacy reasons.
Speaker 4 (43:44):
That's right.
Speaker 1 (43:44):
There go, there you go, there you go, But you
know who you are. We watched this. You know who
you are? You know, get money up? No, because I've
been I've been to the set of y R N
G H. And it's it's something else. I mean, those
those sets are something else.
Speaker 4 (43:59):
You know.
Speaker 3 (44:00):
My wife is like, good, my wife, she's like, she's like,
are you still on with these guys?
Speaker 1 (44:07):
We gonna let her. We're gonna let him off shortly.
Speaker 2 (44:10):
They're gonna let me show this slick hot. She may
have disappeared.
Speaker 1 (44:16):
Walk great, We're gonna let you go.
Speaker 6 (44:19):
Just you guys think she has disappeared and me, you know,
do you want to say hello? To say, oh god,
how are you?
Speaker 1 (44:33):
I'm good?
Speaker 2 (44:33):
How are you?
Speaker 1 (44:34):
Guys?
Speaker 4 (44:34):
You guys having a nice chat?
Speaker 1 (44:36):
So what we want you on the show too. So
we're gonna contact you to come on the show too.
Without him, I would without him, but I like to
do things with him.
Speaker 2 (44:45):
I hope.
Speaker 1 (44:45):
So you are married more than she's done at least
a couple of things with me, a few things. The
results are there. Yes, we love we love you too.
We want we were gonna let them off. He sort
of all the food and everything, so oh yes, that's
one of his many talents. I love it. Well, somebodice
(45:10):
to meet you guys have come on the show soon
on show. I'd love to you go you gentlemen, my
very much better. Huff see folks, everybody there who comes
on the shows talking on the show.
Speaker 2 (45:26):
I love that. The beauty and the brains of this relationship.
Speaker 1 (45:31):
Hey, there you go, there you go right there you
go well to her. Yes, but I had I had
most son on my show. JJ Renard was on and
Moe showed up for a second and I know him,
and so I was like, the gonna show up. Everybody's
related on the shows, So fray, I'll just ask the
last question as the last question Carlin.
Speaker 4 (45:52):
Well, and where we started in terms of yeah, for you,
what's your go to meal if somebody's like, all right,
I've had a rough day, Carlo, I'm kind of down
in the dumps. What's your go to meal to kind
of brighten somebody's mood?
Speaker 3 (46:05):
My go to meal to brighten somebody's mood, Darling, What
do you think that is somebody's mood? Yeah, it really
depends on who it is. You know, what if I
made recently that was that we've just gone, oh this
(46:25):
is amazing.
Speaker 2 (46:28):
Those salmon are okay.
Speaker 3 (46:31):
So here's what I've been doing recently, which turns out
so much better than I thought it would. So I
have a slow juicer, and uh, I juice basically celery, carrot, apple,
like the green apple, bitter apple, ginger lemon. Put them
(46:55):
in the slow juice. It's a slow juice. It just
squeezes very slowly. It doesn't smack, it doesn't rip up
the vegetables like some juices do. It slow juices them,
and it squeezes out quite a lot of pulp.
Speaker 2 (47:10):
Right.
Speaker 3 (47:11):
So what I do is I drink the juice that'll
be my lunch, for example. But then I take the pulp.
And so day before yesterday I took about how much
salmon was there. They're about a pound, a little bit
over a pound. I take the salmon, I put this.
I cut up the salmon into into little cubes, take
(47:34):
the skin off, put it in the food processor, and
I put the pulp in the pulp that's left over
from my juice.
Speaker 2 (47:44):
Yeah, uh, this is not just this is also being
very frugal.
Speaker 3 (47:49):
By the way, in this in this time of exactly
of sticker shock, you put the hoping you put one
egg in you know, uh, and then you can put
spice to whatever you want a spice. Now, I'm a
(48:09):
as I said, good for with the zucchini. I'm a
big fan of the anchovy. Not everyone is, but I
put a couple of anchovies in.
Speaker 2 (48:16):
I grow. I have, like I grow all my hot stuff,
like these peppers.
Speaker 3 (48:22):
Okay, oh my god, yeah right, there's like these things
are just the ones I have up here. I have
a garden back there full of stuff, and I uh,
I put something like that in to give it a
little yeah right, what else did I put in?
Speaker 1 (48:39):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (48:42):
A little a little olive oil. That's it.
Speaker 3 (48:45):
Food process. And then I make these little fritters. Okay,
I make little balls fritters about that big. Put them
in the fridge. They dry out a little bit in
the fridge, and then in the evening I will squeeze
them into little fritters like little burger type, little slider types.
Speaker 2 (49:04):
Do them on the planta here.
Speaker 1 (49:09):
I'm coming over. I'm going I'm going to eagle rock.
Speaker 3 (49:12):
And then you make a little sauce. You take some mustard,
some mayonnaise, some capers, a little lemon juice, and you
make a little sauce. Right A little mustardy mayonnaise, e
caper sauce, lemon juice, and then you do your fritters.
You spoon that on top and then serve that with
(49:34):
some simple veg like some steamed broccoli with garlic or something.
It's simple, super low carb, frugal. But I have to say,
at the end of the day, it made us all,
all of us, even my son who's thirteen years old,
who's like, you know, he was like, oh, I'm you
(49:56):
feel so happy now, dad.
Speaker 4 (50:00):
Well, Carl, I get as we're wrapping it up here,
I imagine your former life is in the culinary field
as a restaurant tour. The skills and the mindset and
the teamwork for that, I feel like those compliment acting
extremely well in terms of being on a set, everybody
hopefully coming together as a collective to create something that's
(50:21):
bigger than the sum of the parts.
Speaker 3 (50:22):
You know what's interesting you say that, I've never really
thought of it that way, but you're absolutely right.
Speaker 2 (50:26):
I mean it is.
Speaker 3 (50:27):
It's all bigger than some of the parts. And the
best shows you work on again are that way. Is
like a lot of people coming together. It's like not
one person going you know what I'm better than the show,
and I'm making it.
Speaker 2 (50:39):
You know. It's like it's a whole bunch of people
coming together.
Speaker 3 (50:43):
And as a result, you get a good product, you know,
And the restaurant business has to be that way too,
you know.
Speaker 2 (50:51):
Of course, there are always the.
Speaker 3 (50:55):
Superstars in the punch right, you know, and then the
restaurant hopefully your chef of the superstar.
Speaker 2 (51:02):
You know.
Speaker 3 (51:02):
I was always there in the restaurant business. I was
always like the matre d you know. I was the
guy to be like, hey, how's it going, Hi, how
are you Hi? Good to see you, so good to
see you, you know, and so yeah, but absolutely I
think it's it's probably Look, the restaurant business is is
I've found in my experience it was a chaotic business.
(51:25):
And in many ways, this this business, if you can
call it a business, is a chaotic business.
Speaker 2 (51:33):
You know.
Speaker 3 (51:33):
We deal with so much with like last minute bookings,
last minute editions, a lot of rejection. It's like it's
it's basically life chaos, and you have to find a
way to get through it and hopefully survive and and
(51:54):
have some fun. That's the important thing, have some fun, right, Dally, Well,
I was just like my wife is like, yeah, right, whatever.
Speaker 4 (52:04):
I think I speak to the fans and all of us.
I mean, at least certainly for me, that you definitely
have provided lots of fun over the years. So thank
you so much.
Speaker 3 (52:12):
Oh my pleasure, and I'm so happy to hear that
there is. Honestly, that's what you want. You want to
like somehow make someone go like, I remember that, I
remember what that guy said, you know, I remember that performance.
That's like, it's such a pleasure when you get reminded
of that. Any actor that you go to, they're like, yeah,
(52:34):
I really like you in who goes like yeah, you know,
I don't care is lying because that's what we.
Speaker 1 (52:40):
Do it for, right.
Speaker 2 (52:43):
Right.
Speaker 1 (52:43):
Well, Carlo, You're welcome back anytime. Of course.
Speaker 3 (52:46):
You are the bomb.
Speaker 1 (52:47):
You are the man. You are the man. The fans
thank Colorado for his time.
Speaker 2 (52:52):
Listen, this has been a lot of fun. You guys
have a good thing going.
Speaker 1 (52:55):
Oh thank you. Ten years. You'll bring ten years.
Speaker 3 (52:58):
Excellent, excellent. Well, carry on, I guess I'll see you
Anten's time.
Speaker 1 (53:03):
Yes, lunch, enjoy your lunch.
Speaker 3 (53:06):
Yes, sorry, lunch, thank you. I better, but now make
it make the rest of my wife has done most
of it.
Speaker 1 (53:12):
Yes, help go help her by Carlo. Thank you very much.
All right, folks, all right, okay man, how do I
leave these guys? Guys? You just want to leave us? Okay,
(53:33):
that's kind. So everybody a chat. Think it's so much
for the kind words. I you know, I'm you know,
it's been celebarate next month and next month is our
ten year anniversary and I'm working on really doing you
guests every Sunday, Frank, I'm trying to do it every
Sunday and night. We're trying to do this every Sunday
and guess guess guests. So thank you fans for thanking
me for that. I work very hard to do this
(53:53):
for you guys. They do. I have a big announcement,
you guys. I have a big announcements. So Labor Day
weekend we're not gonna be here, so you guys have
to get a little rest from us. But next Sunday
we will be here. And Frank knows this already. I
told him yesterday. For you guys who are a long
(54:13):
time gh Report fans, Jason Spotlight fans, for you guys
are after Buzz TV fans. Next Sunday it's Lucretia Lyon
and Laden Harvey. Yes, you heard me first, the ogs
(54:34):
that helped me bring this together were joining me and
Frank next Sunday. You guys, Frank Link is back together
and on one is only one. So they're joining us next. Yes,
so you guys anna you know them? Obviously, I don't.
Nobody else did chatting to knew who they were. But
Lucretia did you know? Show us for a while on here.
(54:56):
But it's been about I guess it's the beginning of
the pandemics. We've been together all together. So I gonna
start crying already. I'm probably gonna cry because I'm a
big cry baby, but for all of us. So they're
joining us next United, next Sunday. So I reached out
to both of them. Ladna's in Florida. Thecreatias here in
l A. And we're gonna We're gonna Ayody's reacting. Yes,
(55:16):
we're gonna sell longtime fans for you guys. Is a
treat for me and freaking a tweet a tweet a treat.
Speaker 4 (55:22):
Also, it'll be nice time. It'd be great to see
them both.
Speaker 1 (55:26):
Yeah, I haven't seen that, we haven't. I went and look,
she looks good. I've seen the recent pications. Looks pretty good,
So I don't know. I'm certain lady's just good, awesome,
but I don't know what's going on. I don't know
what they're doing. So we're gonna find out what they're
doing and see what's going on. That's next. That's next Sunday.
And I'm already working at lanth Reunion. That's why the
right someone in there, Yes, Lank Reunion. I know she
posted that on there, the Fab four back to yes
(55:46):
we'll be together. But I'm already working on September seventh,
so it'll be September seventh, fourteenth, and twenty first, and
then the twenty eighth is our anniversary frame. And Frank
m VP because he's been doing this extremely for ten years.
I've did it mostly ten years, but he's been the
whole ten years. So Frank's the boy.
Speaker 4 (56:08):
And then I will ascend. I guess.
Speaker 1 (56:13):
Picture really your final form, Frank, that's it. Get ready
for that, folks. But no, thank you guys for the
praise for me. I'm working at I got some people.
I'm talking to you right now. I have some really
tough people. I'm talking to you right now for September,
so just stay tuned. He knows a few of them.
But I'm working on some people and one person from
(56:37):
really from our past, I'm asking to come back on,
so you haven't seen them in a long time. Some
work on that too.
Speaker 4 (56:44):
So there you go, look a look at you.
Speaker 1 (56:46):
I know it's off for you, guys. It's all for Frank.
It's off for you, guys. Do it thanks to sixty
eight people who are here watching before we start, and
I can do my church announcements. Why aren't being bolder out?
They're alright out there, so you check those out. But
we had a big loss this weekend. Somebody actually knew,
(57:07):
which is always weird to me because I get to
know some of these people. And that was Tristan Rogers.
We lost them to cancer and he they said he
had lung cancer and he never smoked day in his life.
Speaker 4 (57:20):
That's those are the stories where it's like, man, cancer
is cruel. But boy, uh, you know there's manything when
you you haven't done like a smoker and you get
lung cancer. Boy, that's just right out of a box.
Some people have that happened to them.
Speaker 1 (57:39):
Yeah, so weird and Uh, I was shot to his
wife and kids and grandkids today. Uh, on Daytime Today.
It's out now. I talk about my time with him.
I've actually partied with them. I've had dinner with them,
lunch with them, great conversations. Uh. He showed the events
that I did with Sean Kanaan. Check out my interview
(58:00):
with him talking about how almost became mad Max that
is out today on Daytime Today and go to Sean
Kana's channel. He posted the scene that earned him an Emmy,
uh for Studio City.
Speaker 2 (58:13):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (58:13):
He's scene against Sarah Joy Brown. It so he says
he's dying of cancer and the character of that. But
he's also on the Bay. He was on yn R,
he was on Bold and Beautiful. Uh, just just a
you know, a legend. Daytime is is gone, you know.
Speaker 4 (58:28):
Uh. It was a bummer. I mean, you know, I
think you know, when we all, I am glad that
we had a chance to see him a gh. But
I think everybody would agree, you know that he you know.
I mean that's why you feel like they.
Speaker 2 (58:45):
Of his.
Speaker 1 (58:50):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (58:50):
Yeah, I feel like that that timing of the announcement,
with that appearance, I mean I feel like you knew
his time was not as long as we would all
like to have to have Ben.
Speaker 1 (59:01):
It reminds me there's a famous Jeanie Cooper her last
scene on Y and R. She was very frail and
she walks up the stairs and then she died after that.
So it's kind of like she had her last scene
with the girl played Jill. He had his last scene
where he said they gave the character a great send off,
not knowing maybe that it was gonna be a final
(59:21):
send off. That was I think that was such a
great It was a great anybody agrees, and Annie, I
will say it on camera, fuck cancer. Yes, I will
say that. So that's why we go. We don't care
that anybody can agree on that sentiment. I know you
don't want to say it out loud, but I'm gonna
say it. Fuck cancer.
Speaker 4 (59:41):
In these situations that there's honoring the actor and honoring
the character. And so while I feel like the honoring
of the actor can happen much Sooner went over the
show feeling appropriate, but also like the way that we
saw Robert last moment, I'm in no rush for them
to you know, you know, move him, like say that
he's pasted or anything.
Speaker 2 (01:00:01):
Like that.
Speaker 4 (01:00:01):
It's like, let's let the let's let us as just
fans of these characters. Just imagine, you know, Robert, Holly, Sasha, Yeah, yeah,
and Daisy's just out there just enjoying life for a while.
Speaker 1 (01:00:14):
I agree with that, Frank, I actually agree with you
on that one. And just and as we were saying
the chat, why this kind of what his legacy is
is he was part of the early eighties sub General
Hospital that you know, it was our action man when
they were they were doing all those Him and Tony,
Geary and and Anna and all of them, Emma Samy
(01:00:36):
all they were all part of that type here where
we were glued. I was glued to the TV, he said,
the Ice Princess and all I always he was part
of that whole. He was part of all that. He
was part part of that. He had two amazing romances
on it. We had several, but the two biggest ones,
of course, were Anna and Holly. I mean really really
worked out.
Speaker 4 (01:00:54):
Yeah. I mean see I mean seeing like Kimberly McCullough's
and I know, my god, yes, so yeah, he attributes great.
Speaker 1 (01:01:07):
So I want to say people today, he was very funny.
I'll tell you was a very funny guy, whis most
Australians are They really funny, great sense of humor. He
was always very nice to me. So my song, so
I just so said it's no sap. I fided up.
Part of my childhood's gone. All the child going by.
They have a picture when all these feo from Johashen
they're all dead, like they're all gone, like monitary, they're
all gone. It's like, damn it that is that does happen.
(01:01:29):
It does happen. As we get older, it does happen.
Speaker 4 (01:01:32):
Yeah, there was just something cool about knowing that as
a kid. Robert Scorpio was also the voice one of
the characters and Rescue was down under.
Speaker 1 (01:01:39):
I was like, oh that's right, Yeah, that's right. Yes,
that's right.
Speaker 4 (01:01:42):
That's so awesome.
Speaker 1 (01:01:43):
So that's right, Sarry trying to mention. So just we'll
keep the show to him, just make sure his and
his memory a nearbody who lost him. Unfortunately, rest of
the kidding we come more of the rest of the week. No,
but you know, here's the rest of here's what happened
you know on JO Hospitals last week and I I've
been watched it yesterday because I was, I was a
feeling well this week. I was, I'm going through something
(01:02:05):
right now as a feeling well. So I caught up
on all the soaps yesterday and I had a cup
of coffee. I sat on my couch. I just kind
of its kind of hung out. There's the weather in
la Is will be nice right now. It's really nice
and I love it. So I watched Wide Are Bold
and gh yesterday.
Speaker 4 (01:02:20):
And just marinated in soapy goodness.
Speaker 1 (01:02:24):
Oh it was. I was so soapy. I still left
the couch. It doesn't employ off the couch. Now my
new chair I have. So here's the deal. I will
say there were a lot more entertaining scenes this week
for me. I almost think of that. I think of
(01:02:45):
this week and as a bunch of scenes. But then
there's some things that don't make sense to me, so
we're gonna talk about that. But one of the things
like that I kind of enjoyed. It was it was
a stretch, but I kind of enjoyed it was Lucas
and Willow. I always they always throw them together because
they work together. So I make that, Okay, I'll get
(01:03:07):
points on that. But he's always so self righteously towards
her on some level. I mean when but that slap
that she did, his expression made me laugh so hard
and changed.
Speaker 4 (01:03:21):
A bit from day to day.
Speaker 1 (01:03:23):
It was the next day it was all they had
to you know, they had to redo it. It was like, yeah,
it was you caught that to you it was kind
of weird. Was it was kind of weird? Right?
Speaker 4 (01:03:31):
It was like yeah, because that that first day, that
slap in his reaction, I was like, well, yes.
Speaker 1 (01:03:40):
Okay, I was. I wasn't alone. I was that, I
wasn't alone. I wasn't alone. Okay, Yeah, So it was
a little weird, and they had Marco just run in
really fast. I was like, where the first day, obviously
you know, he was out there, But the second day
it was, I mean, I might like, you know, freak
like slaps. You've been waiting for some slaps. You said
that a few weeks ago. You wave for some good.
Speaker 4 (01:03:59):
Slaps, some good old fashioned soap slaps.
Speaker 1 (01:04:02):
You wanted. She gave one, gave on she did, she
gave what but and then but then it's like, you know,
but Marco saw its, and I was like, like, do
you want to press charge? I'm not gonna pss charges
to her. But I love how she just kind of
ran out.
Speaker 4 (01:04:17):
Oh yeah, just staring at her hand.
Speaker 1 (01:04:21):
What were you doing hand?
Speaker 2 (01:04:23):
How could you?
Speaker 1 (01:04:25):
I just I chuckled. I'm sorry, guys, because she's because
I did listen. Wait, So was Elizabeth on her way out?
Why was she in the stairwell all of a sudden?
She maybe she was walking up, like why would you
mean a stairwell? Would you be? I mean, whate sowell? Well, Frank,
after what happened with Finn's why would you be scared
(01:04:47):
of stairwells? That's true? And Finn remember last until that happened,
like we did you be scared of little scare of
Peter will be scared a little stairwell action, I think.
Speaker 4 (01:04:57):
Like all of us, She's like memory, hold o that stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:05:03):
I'm like, why is there? But that was and she
was like, hey, I slapped him and I just it
just it was so funny to me because she gives
me a whally is not yours anymore? But he was
probably like he's tell my family. You tell my family.
But then on the other spectrum, we got a good punch.
That was because we haven't seen what else in a while.
Either with Michael punching Drew, so each of them have
(01:05:27):
had something happened in that area.
Speaker 4 (01:05:31):
Yeah. What I liked about that too is that we
that we have the Ada at Sunny place overhearing all us.
So what I like is if you know, she hears
you know, Drew trying to blackmail Sonny into something great,
(01:05:51):
anything that kind of you know, these are these scenes
that kind of then eased the Ada off. I'm seeing
Sunny in a different light. It's like, oh, yeah, he's
not the only bad person in town. Even our congressman
is a.
Speaker 1 (01:06:02):
Jerk, I know. And it's like when Will ran to
Condie's house. Yeah, well, here's what's funny, because see unit
ling is something that makes me chuck a little bit too.
They had Little Donna there, of course as a prop,
clearly as a problem. Clearly, Frank, I mean like I
(01:06:27):
almost admire how they have no shame. It was just like,
we're gonna, we're gonna really ship this couple together by
using the kid for the for the ADA and b
there that you would hear that, Okay, that's okay, I'll
give you that. Because she was already there already, But
the reason why she was there and little girl you
(01:06:48):
gotta stay for me with the best spaghetti in her earth,
and aren't you hungry? I mean it's like it was
just kind of like it's all strung together very openly.
I guess, Frank, it's it's very They're very I mean,
there's no pretense that they literally are just like pushing
them together. She's really she's nice, daddy. I'm like, okay, kids,
(01:07:09):
i'll talk like that. I'm sorry. Yeah, I might say
weird to chat, but it was just kind of like, yeah,
it was like, there really is. When you mentioned that
I didn't mind her overhearing, so it's like you can't
get it, but they're really pushing Sunny and her together.
Speaker 4 (01:07:24):
Uh yeah, I mean you know, and you know, certainly
I feel like this show, I mean, the show came
in hot with her originally in the way that she
was writing and that she was just gonna tear down
Sonny and that was it. And for whatever reason, the
show decided like, oh hey, wait a minute, maybe this
is better if they could be a potential couple. So
now we gotta we gotta pull it back and we
(01:07:46):
gotta throw some gray into this, uh, this relationship. So
the show is not I feel like the show is
we're seeing them being as heavy handed about moving towards
the shades of gray as they were about like, oh,
she's just another typical da that just out just get
rid of sunny corrintos.
Speaker 1 (01:08:02):
But she's a tight c that he has, so it
does work on some levels. She is a he likes
the Brunettes, ye, I mean, he went to carly And
and Nina, but an Ama but for the most party
likes the Brunettes. It's that whole Brenda thing.
Speaker 4 (01:08:17):
Somebody that's you know, gets some fire to them.
Speaker 1 (01:08:22):
Yes, he had Sam, he had Reese, he had all
always different, you know, different, darker you know, darker ones
he had, So that makes sense on some level. Obviously. Yeah,
Donna was a convenience prop. She was because it's very
much it was like she's pretty day. I was like,
oh god, nobody talking about people talking about you know,
(01:08:42):
I mean, and it's she's sweet to the girl, and
oh my god, you can see that that sunniest sweet.
Sometimes it's the whole trope, which kind of makes me
laud As want to chuckle itcause like, Okay, they're really
gonna letting us know what they.
Speaker 4 (01:08:57):
Want, uh, And we have to remind everybody that Sonny
is a great chef. Yes, sauce are outstanding as always.
Speaker 1 (01:09:05):
Frank and sauce. Come on, Frank, Nixon falls, Nixon falls.
I'll look here at that sauce. It's just like Sonny's.
You were like, you're not having it. I know you
were just not having it.
Speaker 4 (01:09:19):
Then, want to take let's roll that tape, kids, Frank, Oh,
trust me, I I want to burn that Nixon fall
storyline to the ground.
Speaker 1 (01:09:28):
The sauce got you off. I remember that, the sauce,
And yes, he's apparently a great cook and can cook.
We gotta get that. So that's just kind of fame.
But you know, but I do. I moved all around,
folks because I'm just kind of like, I feel like,
for me, it's all about scenes for me. And this
also leads to him and Laura and Laura's explanation. I
get Laura's explanition. Actually, well, why she's not just performatively
(01:09:52):
pulling from him like it's like in a way, it
won't it really won't help anyways too late. I mean
it just looks it looks Sony kind of get what
she's saying for me this election.
Speaker 4 (01:10:03):
I want this election to happen tomorrow. I can't like
this is we've had too many of these scenes. I mean,
as much as I enjoy seeing the two of them together,
it's too much around like you've got to distance yourself
For me, I'm not gonna do that, Sonny. I'm not
that kind of person. Uh. And we've had that. It's
like I need I need this to move on because
(01:10:24):
it's just like give me or just like come on, guys,
there's other scenes you can put the two of them
together that don't have to be about backing off about
you know about this, uh see whatever it is.
Speaker 1 (01:10:38):
Yeah, bo, I agree with you. I totally agree with you,
oh on that because I mean, even though I do
enjoy little Ezra Boyle action, they wise to keep up
just every once in a while. I kind of like
that because.
Speaker 4 (01:10:55):
Yeah. And what I like though is that even he
was like Withdrew, was like, hey man, you know, do
you really do you really want to be.
Speaker 1 (01:11:03):
Keep doing this? Right? He did, Like It's like I
kind of yeah, I like that also. It's kind of like,
but it's funny all of them. Everybody's kind of going,
you're sim know when you said when he threatened saying, oh,
that's the wrong. Don't be that's the wrong. Many new kids,
and she was kind of like, yeah, I've got time
for you. Or when Tracy lit into him, whoa, Okay,
(01:11:27):
Lacey's like she was not having it. I mean that's
I mean at first she was like, well, you know,
because you know the strange bedfellows and but when but
when he went out, because when Drew went after Homeboy Wiley,
all bets were off.
Speaker 7 (01:11:40):
Oh yeah, when like and Drew says that you should
let me see her, like oh, Michael was piins with
Tracy got pissed. She was like, okay, kids, that's that's you.
You crossed several lines. Uh, and you have no shame
you had just says no, she has no shame. When
(01:12:00):
he saw he starts smiling like, oh my god, I
don't do it, Drew, don't do it.
Speaker 4 (01:12:08):
And I mean he's gonna lose Martin once the whole
Stella thing comes out, yes, uh.
Speaker 1 (01:12:15):
Because Martin's like yeah, and something's going on with him,
like come on, folks, He's like he's seeing it too.
I know he needs the money. I know he needs
the money, but he hates Tracy Moore but the whole
thing is like he's gonna see it too, seeing it.
Speaker 4 (01:12:27):
But I agree with you that it is setting up
to like somebody's gonna do something to Drew, and that's
gonna be the mystery. It seems like because we keep
widening the net of people that have been aggrieved by Drew. Yes,
and so, I mean, I know I could I could
see it being Martin, I could see it being Stella.
(01:12:47):
They're they're lower there. They're low enough that they could
be potentials that they could, you know, and then be
written off going to you know, go to prison. Uh
you mention.
Speaker 1 (01:13:01):
I think even Nina on some level, because she has
a storyline now after this, I mean she has a storyline.
They could totally right her off for a while to
rest the character. I mean her will are not gonna
be close anytime soon.
Speaker 4 (01:13:15):
Yeah, I mean, ez hera boil, you could. I mean,
if they do a little bit more ground where you
can put them in that camp too, I bet I
need to be somebody that could that. You know, it's like, oh, well,
he's been on the show, so it's not like a
low hanging. It's not like just somebody we weren't expecting
but it's also you know, the shows like going to
take a big swing and make it. That's why I
don't think as much as you say, Nina, which I
(01:13:36):
am always a fan of resting Nina, Like I feel
like it wouldn't be the big ones that we'd want
it to be. It would be Michael, it would be Nina.
It wouldn't be right.
Speaker 1 (01:13:46):
Once in a while, they do every once in a
while back in the day, they used to, they do
a big one and they just find a way to
write them through.
Speaker 4 (01:13:53):
Uh. That's when you can tell the difference between those
characters and like a real secondary characters, like if we
file them to prison, like Alexis or Sam and we
see them in prison for a while and they're like
all right, yeah. But then there's all the characters we
just like, like Brad, you know, see you later, and
then we'll see you every so often.
Speaker 1 (01:14:13):
But Smethicos drew coffee authorities on Stella, Curtis will be
it Curtis one pissed. Oh we must be just anti
so they got Curtis pors I mean, hear me to
the limit and be it'll be about Stella and Porsa.
It'll be like both things are happening. But somebody brings
up this and I go, yeah, I'm like, Drew made
(01:14:36):
a realmy of Alexis. The cast line came out in
Alexis for a minute there. She was kind of like,
excuse me that. When he was like, you will know,
nobody from your family will see Scout, she was like,
wait a minute. So but then Molly trying to bring
it up late, and I'm like, so, I wonder what
I wanted her to go. I wonder what, because I mean,
(01:14:57):
to my knowledge, he's not the in the canvas Cameron Mathison.
So I'm curious that they're gonna do any I don't know.
They said it's hard for a grandparent. What can an
ant take the I'm just really curious. But I want
I'll not go with that. But are you gonna go
with that?
Speaker 4 (01:15:14):
Well, I mean, if he is incapacitated for some reason, okay,
through some injury or something, then who would be watching
Scout in his absence?
Speaker 1 (01:15:25):
There you go, Okay, I with that?
Speaker 4 (01:15:26):
Okay, you know, I mean it could be Moley, somebody
who's been searching for a child, ye raising her her
sister's child.
Speaker 1 (01:15:36):
That's true, You're right, I didn't have any of them right,
so it could be they lead up to something something again,
I'll think, go to kill Drew from they'll be more
shooting or stabbing and he'll be then he'll be out,
and you're right, take care of scouts. Oh okay, and
I see how friings going with that. Okay, yes, I
can see that. But yeah, he when he was like terrybody,
(01:15:58):
when anyone elections mean again, we have to see as
she lost her daughter, and when he said he mentioned Sam,
but she said, well, since you want to invoke my daughters.
And I was like, oh my god, oh my god,
like duck and I duck. She was like, oh. She
was not happy about that you crossed the line name
because that's how she looked. She said, you want now
(01:16:19):
you want to vote my daughter's name? Like oh, she
about the time she told him and why I should
have brought her. I'm sorry I didn't evoked her name.
But then when he was when he turned around, when
he walked closer to her, and she started getting and
this thing ground is so good. She was that she
was that anger with tears, that anger, tear teary anger.
It's like I could believe what he was saying, She's
like what he was like? And then when he says
(01:16:42):
Drew and he just turned back to biolexus and that
was he like. And she was like, oh she was
she was in shock. She wasn't shock. She was in
shock because she really hasn't think about it. She has
not really done anything to Drew. If anything, she's been
too nice. She has not done anything, you know. So oh, yeah,
(01:17:03):
Sam updated will? Yeah, where is that? Will? Frank ride up?
Third day? What happened? It's on It's on a desk,
isn't it. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:17:09):
I mean we haven't seen Diana in a while, but
you know, I guess, you know, maybe she do something.
She'll do some decluttering and like, oh, here's Sam's will,
dead from us the year. What have we done with it?
Speaker 1 (01:17:21):
You should hire me as a professional organizer. And I'm cleaning.
I'm cleaning the office. I find it.
Speaker 4 (01:17:26):
Oh hang it out with Susan.
Speaker 1 (01:17:31):
Look over the top.
Speaker 4 (01:17:35):
He was like, you wanted to do arst Danny like
you slapt those cuffs on him. Uh, Like that was
so over the top, Like come on.
Speaker 1 (01:17:44):
Geez, we were And that's why Chase was like, no,
it's like you aren't too much, like arrest him. I'm like,
I'll talk to him, give a warning. I'm i gonna
arrest him, Like come on, please, that's not gonna happen.
And like you said, no judge of work would do.
I mean, it's just it's but you let's think Drew
does not care, and I kind of like it. He doesn't.
(01:18:06):
He doesn't care. He does whatever the f he wants.
He name though he still wants that, he wants it
bad and Tracy him like no, Monica, Michael don't want
to talk to him. So I'm like, it's just it's
I personally myself, I'm actually enjoying this Drew. I think
it's I think it's great. It brings so I mean,
because he's so blatant, it brings some excitement. And so
(01:18:29):
people hate him because he does he doesn't care. He
just doesn't care. He just walks around entitled like he
doesn't And when because we did go up to to Will,
I'm just like, I'm glad you're here and you don't care.
He don't care, you don't care.
Speaker 4 (01:18:43):
He when he tells Martin like Will just doesn't know
how much he needs me, Like that'sation for everything, Like geez, Louise, dude,
you just gotta kinda take several seats as James.
Speaker 1 (01:18:56):
He didn't care, He doesn't care. When Jason was talking
to him, I mean he he was like you know,
Sam would want he was always worried about your influence
on blah blah. I'm like, you'll bring up this dead
woman to prove a case and you're a mess, like
you can't. I mean, just like he just doesn't care.
And Jason looking like Jason's looking like I want to
tear him limb from limb. That won't happen, you know,
(01:19:17):
just it's just like, oh my god, he just he
just he does he doesn't care. He is a care
at all. And I kind of like that. I mean,
I mean, we need a villain. He's a different type
of villain than Sidwell. This guy is sunny and Sonny
is from the Cyrus school of villain ry. He just
he doesn't he doesn't read the room, he doesn't care
(01:19:38):
what's going on. He just comes in and thinks he
knows it all, but yet almost feels like he's the victim.
The Cyrus is always the victim, no matter what. You know,
Like you make me do this, you know kind of thing.
Drew was like, oh, I'm doing it. I love you, Willow.
I didn't do nothing wrong, and like it's like, no,
you just say anything's wrong. And I'm glad that Willow.
(01:19:59):
I glad they have not so far your fingers crossed
have not made Willow fall back into the spell. I'm
so glad she is really staying tall. But how recam,
what's your name? Frank? Why did you my Stella? Please? Why?
And I talked about this on J three d's This Week.
(01:20:22):
You guys agreed with me. I want to say this
to Frank, speaking of propping up, speaking of blatant, here's
what's what you do? Stella? Propping up? Kai? That was
so blatant. It's just like I it's like Trina explained
herself pretty well well why she doesn't want to be
(01:20:44):
with him and what's going on and everything, and well
it was like, well, you know you're right, but however,
like no, girl, It's like I totally get where she's
coming from and ain't gonna invite him over and she's
like why, yeah, does she'll want to do with them
by But the end of question is like thanks for
(01:21:04):
offering the drink or whatever, and she had taken she left.
I was like, stella, don't stella though, don't.
Speaker 2 (01:21:08):
Do it to her.
Speaker 4 (01:21:12):
Well, I am curious are we seeing the eventual kind
of corruption of Kai, because when he's talking with Drew,
Andrew's like, way, what's I'm in, d C. You're gonna
need me my eyes at these here?
Speaker 1 (01:21:24):
Everything he did he said everything, So I was like,
oh my god, I means I mean, I mean, I
mean just I mean they can be together.
Speaker 4 (01:21:35):
Then if he's doing that again there, you know, yeah,
you go over there in blackmail. This you know this
is sunny for me? Okay, I mean Drew said I
gotta go over blackmails exactly.
Speaker 1 (01:21:47):
So I'm like, that's why I go. This is you're
interesting to see because the thing was, here's the thing
with Kai for me because I have no feeling for
her against him because we don't really know him. There's
no family, know nothing. They would give me enough head.
So maybe they make this more interesting going forward. Maybe,
But again, Trinia has no story, not really just she's
(01:22:09):
just they're going dress shopping her mother. I mean that's
not a story.
Speaker 4 (01:22:13):
That was rough.
Speaker 1 (01:22:14):
Yeah, that was rough, Like no, she look don't look
good and everything, she looked good and everything, but just
that was that was just like nothing and so just
and so was the whole Jordan Curtis at her new
place thing that was just like, I mean, there's ways
to bring them together, but I was like.
Speaker 4 (01:22:33):
And way too much like an indo and this like
I'm gonna need you to get up in everything about
this And oh I saved the best for last show.
Speaker 1 (01:22:41):
I didn't mind that part. Frank come out of mind
some double of tons for a Frank. I don't mind that.
Speaker 4 (01:22:47):
Oh yeah, if it would have actually led somewhere instead,
would just go back like why you were right about that?
Speaker 1 (01:22:54):
Snow? Holy cow, that's funny. That sounds kind of nice.
It's a nice little set. Uh yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:23:01):
I mean I feel like what you get out of
it is like Curtis is realizing, well, hold on a second,
we're getting a little chumpy here. I gotta I gotta run,
I gotta run, I gotta you know, I gotta go
stick it to my wife.
Speaker 1 (01:23:15):
But you know, Isaiah's standing there. Oh Flicia said stay
out of it. Yep, but what does he do? You
got it?
Speaker 4 (01:23:25):
Yeah, Like Jordan's like, I didn't you even called me
in forever.
Speaker 1 (01:23:29):
I didn't even you did say that. Oh I love
that she said that. Oh my god, this shade was real.
So I saw you know what, I saw your number
pop up. I'm like, oh, I know, I'm gonna beat
you up in the same way, Like what the how?
Like I love that she said that. I love as
she said that because he ain't talked to her in
uh in several Sundays and they say, mm hmm, okay
(01:23:51):
about Frank. I love I love what she said. And
she was like, yeah, you don't call me. And He's like,
like you talked to you. I'm like, you gotta go
to Portia. You gonna go to Georgia. Try to stop her, Like,
I'm just I'm not even looking forward. I'm not even
looking for to those scenes. I'm not looking for to
that at all. Now, No, no, let me painful this
week Frank And also I thought of Frank this week.
(01:24:14):
I would think of Frank, but I'm close to myself.
But I thought of Frank also this week because we
had we had some outdoor scenes of Los Felis. I mean,
I'm saying, New York I will just get back together. Man.
Speaker 4 (01:24:32):
You know, it was like you asked me that last
week and I was like, no, that's not gonna happen.
But now that we've seen like this, I mean, running
through that that park shirtless will omit. You're the only
one that understands me. Uh you know, I could. I
could see it, especially Brooklyn is all Geo obsessed and
not you know, starting a family obsessed like Chase wants
(01:24:54):
to be.
Speaker 1 (01:24:56):
Who knows, could be changing a bit. I'm not crazy?
Am I still crazy? But you see, no, that's still crazy.
Speaker 2 (01:25:04):
I could see you.
Speaker 4 (01:25:05):
If the show wanted to do that, they could.
Speaker 1 (01:25:07):
It's so Menna be funny full circle. He gets back,
and that will Brooklyn, Oh my god, she would lose
it also, But I know, but that says he. At
the same time, they have they have which is Lulu's
big scary thing. They have Ga and Geo. They have
Dante and Lulu, Dante and Brooklyn getting closer again because
(01:25:28):
of Geo. And that's what the right, That's how it
was the whole thing. So I can see now they're
they're they're they're widening. Brooklyn's over here, he's over here,
Chase over here. I can see it. I'm telling you,
I'm telling you Frank, I think he.
Speaker 4 (01:25:46):
Was happy about like the Dante Brooklyn stuff because like
the geo stuff needs to move along.
Speaker 1 (01:25:51):
Oh my god, yes, oh my god. I'm sorry, folks.
The little the little actor plays him. I think he's
kind of cute and I and I I wish and
and I know he said he probably thinking some acting lessons,
like you're too him. Sometimes there's expressions on his face
so serious. It was like, like what expression is that?
(01:26:12):
Like I'm like, okay, he's a cute little boy and
everythings a boy because I'm old and I'm just like
somebody's expressions are a little much. I'm like when he
was talking to Finn, Finn, that's the guy who blamed
we're talking to Rocco, they're talking to Grandpa, Sonny and Donna.
Like some of his expressions are a little too hard
for me, like exactly a little too hard. But I
until he's trying. He's he is trying to like, you know,
(01:26:35):
give us up.
Speaker 4 (01:26:37):
Yeah, we just yeah, we just needed to move it
along because I agree, like us giving him his space
is doing nothing. It's like, yes, trust his viewers, it's doing.
Speaker 1 (01:26:48):
Frank's all, Hi, we agree with you. And there's nothing. Also,
uh no, I agree with you. I was like when
he sounds like, yes, like come on, we need something,
we need something to move it along with everybody talking
to Geo, your parents are like you talk to Mike
talked to like, your parents are good. Your parents are good.
I'm like, we need him, you know, and yes, him,
(01:27:08):
him and rock Or are still kind of close. And
he said, I'll go to the Donna's birthday. I like,
I like that. Yeah, but you're right. They can't just
sit and I'm glad that they had. Dante really push
understood Brooklyn's position at first. I totally get it. She's
the one he gave away. So I saw what you're saying,
you go because he'll understand so so you didn't even
know you existed. Ither oneh gave him away. So but
(01:27:31):
he was like, no, we got to do this together.
We have to just together. And I hope they keep
Actually I don't want Brooklyn don't take it together as
a couple. I hope they stay friends like family. I
always stay friends. But I think making Lulu jealous and
Chase jealous, I kind of like that part. I don't
mind that so much. They can spin them off to
other stories.
Speaker 4 (01:27:49):
Anytime Loulu gets inconvenience unhappy for she's so miserable. Well,
you know, Harley that second time about you said you'd
get rid of Lee's so she was she was petting
a dog.
Speaker 1 (01:28:04):
Oh my god, I'm like, you got and and Connie
saw right through it, and so she sorry, that was hilarious.
She's all right through. So I know what you're doing
it like, I know what's going on. And when she
negotiated a better over, that was hilarious too. Anna vouched
me and she's like, oh, I'll be right back. That
(01:28:25):
made that made me laugh so hard. I love it.
It's nice talking. But the whole point was she was
like saying, yes, lizel has changed a bit. She is
working it out. But everybody knew what was going on,
but so she But then she in the end, after
everybody talking to her, she's like, okay, I'll leave. I
loved that penthouse suite of course, and yurs, I love that.
(01:28:46):
But it's all because a Lulu. It's like, I'm like, yeah,
I'm just not I'm not a fan of character. The
actress is doing great, I'm not a fan of character
so much. Devin, give me a reason to like her
yet And oh yeah, Chase did politely ignore Lulu. He
did when she walked over and he just walked he
(01:29:08):
say by to her. He was like, walked by my
by and bout his business. He was like, next, I'll
blame him by this. I just think it's it's it's
I freaking I say this all the time. That shows you,
guys showed me something, another side, something like you know,
with Sidwell, we see that he loves his son. There
(01:29:29):
are things that we see others like he has been
Kai's kind of Lucy. There's things that Okay, there's some
good stuff we need that even with this Cody story
lou which I think is dumb, I love this stuff
for Tracy this week. I loved it again. We're seeing
a side that she sees something in him. And you
got to got a chance to see Josh Kelly do
some acting. It was like, I love it him with
(01:29:51):
him with James, that stuff works for me. It's like
even the rest of the storyline sucks. The whole Molly
thing is tired. But I think at least we see
they've fleshed him out a little more now, and so
so I'm hoping to continue, so he's not so one note,
I don't deserve anybody that's gay. Just gets get past that. Les,
Let's get past that.
Speaker 4 (01:30:12):
Because I feel like that's something that we just default
to Cody too, where it's like I can't tell Mack
he's my real my father because I don't deserve, you know,
a father like that in my life, or he doesn't
deserve a son like me. Like we've already gone that
road with Cody and the pity party, so like, what
come on? Uh. The other thing I enjoyed between speaking
(01:30:34):
of Cody and James was I don't know if you
picked up on it, but that, uh, Maxie's dad is
cheap detectives and like a really stand up guy. Uh,
and Maxie asks him for advice sometimes. You know, I
got big issues, like they're just like I like that
(01:30:56):
we had to keep cameraing that. Oh, but like I
think we got everybody that Sidwell is gonna do something.
But I don't like that they keep reminding us.
Speaker 1 (01:31:05):
The thing is, James knows everything that kid has, all
the gossip. I couldn't stop laughing. He was just just
talking to Sidwell, is just running his mouth, not like
just to all your business really so everything you know,
you know everything and that that's me. It just chuckled
the guy because he was nice in a kid. He
was like, oh, he tells Mirco we got some information
(01:31:26):
we could probably use because he his homeboard. Just James
is to tell it all. And we saw pasty Josh
Kelly's body. Yes, Josh Kelly gets some tanning salon Solu
situation going on. It was it was a little bright.
We're all like, he's a little bright. He was like,
with no shirt on, Hey we go.
Speaker 4 (01:31:43):
Those lights are bright.
Speaker 1 (01:31:45):
We do we do.
Speaker 4 (01:31:47):
Let's know how break those lights.
Speaker 1 (01:31:48):
Are great hand kids. I love Josh, he knows that.
But it's it's just funny. And I was just like,
it's that James character is hilarious. He just knows everything.
And then and then and the temporary MAXI doesn't bothered me.
Speaker 4 (01:32:03):
He's actually, uh yeah, and I am curious to see
how sid Will removes her.
Speaker 1 (01:32:11):
Yeah right, yes, yeah. And I was like I'm like, okay,
I'm like, I like she said, this chicken is actually
doing a good job as Maxie. Folks. I don't have
a problem with her so far. For a couple of
scenes that she was in it was fine with her
in Brooklyn her and I was like, I'm okay with that.
She was okay.
Speaker 4 (01:32:29):
Good, you know, I mean I think well, I mean, one,
you know, you don't have to like if he keeps
Finelli around, you can have him in some scenes and stuff.
But I feel like Maxi is somebody that people are
gonna miss quickly if once Sidwell does something with her.
Speaker 1 (01:32:44):
So I agree with yeah, h So, I mean, I hey,
where do I start. So there's a whole storyline that's
given lots of attention, and I guess I'm still called
(01:33:05):
the Jackal, which is of course Steve Burton and Brada
Hanson's podcast. Steve is really looking forward to this brit storyline.
Fans I see fans online are just like they're gonna
going bizarre because they're picking up or he left off
and and if Frank I get you get tested this
(01:33:26):
to where we left off before the Rocks got him.
They said there wasna be a romance of some sort
in there. You know, I had to marry Carly. But
then when Sunny came back, I felt like if Stanton
killed her off, they put a naturally probably got relationship.
I'm thinking, so why not Now. People are having a
hard time with this, and I'm like, I just have
(01:33:49):
a feeling this was soake Stu to go on a
relationship with Jason, that they were actually leaning towards one
on some level, So I understand what the problem is.
Speaker 4 (01:33:57):
Uh Yeah, and especially post Sonny coming back and pre
him going into the Rocks right hiding for a few years,
Like I could see Britain not immediately wanted to get
back with Jason, just because she still feels hurt about
being so easily cast aside for for Carly, even though
there are a bunch of sitchways extenuating servery circumstances around
(01:34:19):
So immediately yes, but like now after you know one,
she thought he was dead and now seeing him back alive,
all this time has passed, she's all the circumstances that
where people think she's dead but she's still really alive.
But she's being detained in this like you know, this
golden handcuffed resort working for for him, whoever him.
Speaker 1 (01:34:41):
Is, yeah, whoever getting.
Speaker 4 (01:34:49):
Right after he left Carly, after Sonny came back, I
think I think it would happen much easier this time.
And I'm liking that they didn't drag it out like
he gets there boom Caesar nice, all right, thank you,
let's get to it.
Speaker 1 (01:35:02):
Yeah, they they did not drag it out. I am
proud that. Also, Josh saw her right away. Love that. Also,
Yeste was the little snake in the grass, remember, and
it wasn't so it was that so fun? Remember I
said last week, what happened a homegirl? She's back, thank you,
(01:35:23):
she's back. And she's a double agent. H I don't
mind that. But here, but here's my problem, Frank, I
want to preface be if I say this. I want
to preface this to say, we clipping the sh out
and get me in trouble. I'm friends with McCoy. That's
my girl. I noticed she was a kid.
Speaker 2 (01:35:43):
That's my girl.
Speaker 1 (01:35:46):
I'm just not buying her as a WSP agent. It's
heart a hard time. And also speaking of let's just
like really try to direct your attention the montage of
her Vaughn. So now she has feelings for Vaughn as
you're trying and tell us, I see no counting between them.
(01:36:08):
I see nothing. I'm just it's just it's this story.
I have a hard time with her in the storyline.
I love.
Speaker 4 (01:36:16):
What I liked is in that montage, the montage stuff
that we didn't seen it in that same episode they
dropped it montage. We know, we just saw this fifty
minutes ago, and you're dropping it in again, get out
of here with this montage.
Speaker 2 (01:36:33):
But it was Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (01:36:37):
Uh yeah, they're they're in high pressure situations. James, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:36:43):
Oh one second day. Flower says it is because they're
treating it like it's an epic romance. Others say they're not.
I don't see. I don't I don't find the Tree
has epic romance either. I just feel like they're just
saying they've got really close on the run. She helped
out Jason a lot. They were leading that direction. He
had feelings, she had feelings for him, but then he
(01:37:05):
married Carly. Like there was there was a cut off,
there was there was like there was I feel like
they're picking up where they left off. That's that's kind
of how I feel about. I don't find they're trying
to make it an epic romance. I just feel like
they're just there finally picking up where it would have
went possibly well you know, yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:37:24):
Well, I wouldn't say it's epic. I think it's more like,
you know what could have been if you had, you
know before when it left. I think they were both like, boy,
this maybe this could have been something between us if
they've been allowed to continue. And so now you get
a situation where it's like you both of you, both
of the people discovered that each other the other one
is alive. How does that not bring up those feelings like,
(01:37:47):
oh man, you know, boy, if we can actually be together,
maybe this would work this time.
Speaker 1 (01:37:51):
Right.
Speaker 4 (01:37:52):
I gonna say epic, but I'm gonna say that there's
a foundation for wanting to pursue something.
Speaker 2 (01:37:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:37:57):
I just fel like there's tense feelings. You thought he
was she was dead, and then also down now with
Anna filling his head with all this stuff, you think
she's in trouble. So she was there for him, not
it's his turn to be there for her. I feel
like that to me, It all makes to me because
you know, folks, we would track it, would call it out,
and we think it's so weird we would call it out.
(01:38:19):
I feel like, to me, it's actually natural.
Speaker 4 (01:38:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:38:24):
So Dave five says, yes, they are a tagline the
room much you've been waiting for Well, that's epic, but
that's that's some people were waiting for that romance. There's
some brid fans out there.
Speaker 4 (01:38:34):
I guess I think I'm one of them. I was
definitely bummed when it got cut short. For the Jason
you Carly have to get married just you know, save
the family.
Speaker 1 (01:38:43):
He's one of those things that it's I think it's
one of those things where it may not be for
you obviously, And I mean, trust me, you know I
don't like certain things, but I actually I don't mind.
I don't mind this couple. For some reason, this couple
does not This couple does not bother me. Other couples
bother me. This one does not bother me at all.
Speaker 4 (01:39:02):
And for those that do, you could be like James
where he did not like Lizen Franco. At first they
did draw on you. Maybe that got'd to be the
case with Jason and Britt You mean be.
Speaker 1 (01:39:13):
Yeah, So my thing is I I yeah, I wasn't.
I wasn't. I wasn't a Friends fan for I ain't
no friends. Fans hated me because I wasn't a Friends fan,
But towards the end I kind of got it. Then
they killed him, so there was that. I was never
a herd Fin fan. Never. They just messed with that.
They messed up that romance so much. I was just like, no, no, no, no, no.
Speaker 4 (01:39:35):
That would be hard press to find anybody that would say, like, hey,
I was a Fitted List fan.
Speaker 1 (01:39:41):
That was rough. But but Britt, I don't care. I
have no problem with them. I just I just really don't.
I have no problem with them at all. I just
but folks have a problem with them. I don't. I
don't have a problem with them.
Speaker 2 (01:39:52):
I don't.
Speaker 1 (01:39:52):
I just but it wasn't glad how quickly it is
going Me too. I'm glad it's going fast, furious. We
don't even don't even really to go on for weeks.
It's just like, just just get this, get her back
to Port Charles. Let's final. We may have to find
out who the key is. Let's get her back. Let's
get her Port Charles. We can figure that out later.
Let's get her back and get her all into everything,
you know, all the mix that's gonna be, that's gonna
(01:40:15):
be her. And because we had we had we had
the you know last week, the week before last, we
had the whole lore of brokering the deal of Lisel.
All that, so wait till Lisel sees his daughter, our daughter.
We know she did film scenes and told she filmed scenes.
It's just it's just it's I don't know. I just
feel like it's there's folks you just don't I said,
(01:40:38):
you don't like the character. Totally get it. I totally
get it. But I just feel like it's it's where
they would be going. I just kind of feel like
that's where they were gonna go that way anyway. Becky
Herbs and Roger Howard had great chemistry. It's gonna accept them.
I could accept our ancients. Franco so friends for me,
you know, Yeah, thin is. Becky Herbs and Roger how
are great actors. And I liked I liked Roger as Franco.
(01:41:00):
I want that would be that clear too. I liked
m Miss Franco. Actually, I thought it was kind of
you had an interesting take on the character. And the
same thing with awesome someone bro dofter Austin gall On
home He's dead somewhere again. He's taken the beginning of
that character. I was very interested in it. Roger Howard
is a great actor. I mean, it's it's you know,
(01:41:20):
but they didn't go else. We think the right an't
go nowhere, So that's that's kind of problem.
Speaker 4 (01:41:24):
And I felt like with Franco, the tough thing was
there were certain things baked into that character before he
took it over that just I think made it tougher,
you know, like man, you just uh you know, not
everything can be Todd Manning. Some characters, you know, it
took a long time to try to you know, redeemed
hot Manning, and people were less interested in doing that
with Franco.
Speaker 1 (01:41:45):
For sure, I agree, and was too emotional to be
an agent. Well I especially is, But I just would
buy and I'd buy it faster than than than Josh.
I feel like this is only a plot device that's
gonna break up Jack and Carly of course.
Speaker 4 (01:42:03):
Uh yeah. I Emma's man just her inability to realize like, hey, yeah,
you know, I am just a civilian person, like I
have to be the one to bring it down, Like what, no,
that you're You're not any sort of law enforcement at all,
So no, take what you know and give to somebody
that actually could do stuff to break it down legally
(01:42:26):
and make a stake.
Speaker 1 (01:42:29):
Yeah. Oh, problem with me, I don't care. That's not girl.
I there. There's a couple of I don't care about either,
Trust me, I vocalize them on here too. I get it.
But I'm saying for me, I have no problem with them.
I don't. It's not a problem with I'm seeing the
problems with everybody else out there. I don't have a
problem with them. I just think I feel like it's
a continuation. Why not who you up pair with? I'm waiting.
(01:42:54):
It won't be It won't be Coding. They had a
whole horrible they had a whole horrible thing. Won't be Cody.
Who else? Not Michael, that's not that's there's no reason
reason for gonna be together. That's not gonna happen.
Speaker 2 (01:43:07):
Who else?
Speaker 1 (01:43:07):
Nobody, nobody, no, no idea. I mean they can be
doctors together. I mean I don't, I don't. I don't know,
So I just think who knows. But I feel like
the vehicle is gonna happen. Is that Car's gonna find
out about Joss. Obviously that has to happen, and her
and Jack are gonna have a big fight.
Speaker 4 (01:43:30):
But hopefully that after, you know, until after this weekend
when they get away get their freak.
Speaker 1 (01:43:36):
Yeah, but I like that. I like that, and I
calls him out and I was like, you you're you're
exhibiting things you everything exhibited before with Carley and that's
a detriment to being an agent. Which I don't mind
that either, that part of it on mine either. And
here's the thing. This guy, Chris mc kennon's kind of
grown on me. He's fine. I mean, the other guy
had more charisma, but he's fine with me, uh with
(01:44:00):
Carley at least fine. It's interesting.
Speaker 4 (01:44:02):
It's like, because I buy him more is on the
ws B side now then yeah, so I'm like down
with him on that, But when it does get to
the stuff with Carly, I'm less so. And that's I
think that's more because the show hasn't really given us
a lot uh to do and so I mean, certainly
with Charles measure they probably had just as much going on,
(01:44:24):
but I don't know, I feel like, you know, Charles
Measurement brought just that spark that was great. And that's
not saying Chris Maketta doesn't have that spark, but maybe
he just needs like some some the fantasy a little
at least for me, some longevity or in those scenes.
We need some more scene building between those two in
a romantic sense to be like, oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
(01:44:44):
I'm invested now. I don't feel like the show's given
at least me enough to really get on board with
those two as a romantic couple that I should.
Speaker 1 (01:44:50):
Care about it. I'm not four against I can't agree
with you, Frank, I mean resistance together, Okay, I mean
I don't. I don't have anything for against them at
this point. It's it's whatever they broke up tomorrow, be fine,
they say, Hey, fine, I don't have anything invested. I'm
just curious about her and Joss. That's the part I want.
I'm really curious about the mother daughter thing, how that's
(01:45:11):
gonna be, And that's that's that's I'm more invested in.
Speaker 4 (01:45:13):
That, Yes, especially because I gotta figure Jason's gonna find
out about Joss, so you know, how does But he
really can't really say anything because he doesn't to betray Anna.
So can he not say anything to Carly either? I
don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:45:33):
I mean that's a good question, right, I don't know.
I mean so that to me, that's a decent, decent storyline.
I just have our time buying Joss, but Josh seeing
her too. I'm glad you saw her right away. She
saw it was britt and they talked about it right away.
Sounds good, and Brittany hitting on ball was kind of fun. Actually,
it was kind of fun. I liked I like britt,
(01:45:54):
which I like her.
Speaker 4 (01:45:56):
Uh, and we get to see Jocelyn Jocelyn suit shoot
uh acid, Yes that's right, you're gonna throw that WSB
straining to good use. She shut that guy, no problem.
Speaker 1 (01:46:11):
Yeah, yes she did, yes, yes, yes she did.
Speaker 4 (01:46:14):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (01:46:15):
You know.
Speaker 4 (01:46:16):
I mean I feel like with all storylines, it's you know,
whoever he is is gonna I think really factor into
how much I feel the storyline is successful. Like if
the he is just kind of a disappointing revelation, it's
definitely gonna like huh all right, but it's like you
could you can also make me not care so much
(01:46:36):
if you speed it up, if you go through it
and the revelations kind of a dud. Uh. Okay, we
just keep going because I don't know what this he
his relationship is with Sidwell. I mean, I mean Sidwell
seemed concerned when he was that guy the Courier was
coming to town to find out Dal's progress. So Didwell
was like, this is maybe another guy we want to
screw around with.
Speaker 1 (01:46:58):
And meanwhile, you got uh, Maxie wanting to tell she
wanted to tell. Still, yeah, We're going like, no, bitch,
we ain't talking. We know, we don't know what else
is going on. I mean, I don't know why the
Mexican subbing, you have a trust fund. It was it's
a little too much for me. And I was just like, okay,
back to whatever. It's just too much.
Speaker 2 (01:47:18):
Well.
Speaker 4 (01:47:18):
I felt like we had to really paint that heavy
to understand why Sidwell would want to take her off,
because you know she's off. She's not She's in Tennessee
for a while, right, exactly right.
Speaker 1 (01:47:28):
So I was like, okay, So I'm like, I guess
there Isaiah could work, and Isaiah and I could. I mean,
I said, the guy has chemistry with everybody, but I
mean he's HATI tatzi. I mean I see him. I
see with Willow, with Jordan, with Porch, you have the
chemistry everybody, lucash.
Speaker 4 (01:47:46):
Computer at the nurses desk, that's right, I.
Speaker 1 (01:47:50):
See I see it anywhere. I see he has cheistry
with every every object and animates they're in there, so yes,
I see both, but I don't know. I mean I
don't yeah, I don't know. And this I wish October
wouldet her fast too, Frank, because I just can't just
(01:48:13):
custy things anymore. We need it's October to October frank.
Speaker 4 (01:48:19):
Uh. Yeah, I mean hopefully he's going to pull the
trigger on it sooner round than later. And it's like
Barko was like saying, hey, if you want this to
be any good, hurry up.
Speaker 1 (01:48:29):
Yeah, hurry up there, but you don't even get it.
Willows cool cool crazy right now she does couck crazy,
you guys. I mean, I feel like this plant can
totally fall apart because a willow.
Speaker 4 (01:48:42):
Yeah, And as much she wants to talk tough to Lucas,
she also was like, well, Drew, let me know, you know,
text me about you know what. It was a scout
like no, no, no, you just got you gotta just
go cold turkey and Drew.
Speaker 1 (01:48:55):
She said, I was like, oh, like I having to
your kids, but that's not you, not no, no, no.
So Lucas is right. I mean she was a little
too still a little too involved, but yeah, I think
I don't know. It's it's like I said, for me,
this week was all seen work, the scenes and scenes
(01:49:18):
and scenes. So what do we miss everything?
Speaker 4 (01:49:25):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:49:26):
I think so they think of everything. The treat why
I get two year old? No, you're treating Scout like
she's a two year old and they sayd she was twelve.
Have you seen a Scout friend? I guess she was
short twelve, I guess, but I'm like, she don't little
tweld me.
Speaker 4 (01:49:44):
She got a youthful appearance.
Speaker 1 (01:49:46):
Okay, I'm like, sure, friend girl girl. But I was like,
you treat her a little little little young. But then
we got everything, and we got everything. I get we already.
Pay praised Michael and Tracy their talks. They were good
and as she said, you know you're pushing the whole
this thing because Scalley, because of you know, their kids
(01:50:07):
won't have their mother. They said, wow, I didn't think
about that. That was kind of cool.
Speaker 2 (01:50:11):
I like that.
Speaker 1 (01:50:12):
I was like Tracy, how she is with the with
the kids and her still of course you're always great together. Yes,
these are barely together because someone's going on. Oh. I
mentioned Lou adopting a dog. Okay, Lou adopted a dog. Okay,
that's it. Next, Yeah, that's not a story back again,
yeah out back. A cute dog, but unnecessary to anything
(01:50:34):
while we moving him around? Why can't you stay with
Why are moving him around? I don't I don't get it.
I'm like, okay, so Liula mentions you adopt a dog,
rock go tappy? Okay, I don't even Okay.
Speaker 4 (01:50:47):
Yeah, hey, hey, remember that Charlotte also lives in that
house too. You know, well, we'll never see her hardly.
Speaker 1 (01:50:52):
Charlotte.
Speaker 4 (01:50:58):
I will give props to a gen. For instance, she
brought the heat. Did that? See? Yes?
Speaker 1 (01:51:04):
She did? Oh yes she she stepped in, stepped into
and she literally stepped in front of them, in front
of me. And then and then Dante came in and
started and stood back there while she laid the law down.
Did I love what Laura? Does? I see Laura? See
anything about Laura? Folks, Laura's seen some things. Laura been
(01:51:26):
around the block a few times, she been kidnapped, all
kinds of stuff. Laura's nothing played with. And you you,
you screwed, almost said something when you screwed her family.
She jumps right in. She don't care, and she she
let Liseel know need to back down, And don't you
ever talked to her daughter that way? You back down
about her parenting lil.
Speaker 4 (01:51:46):
Back down she did, Yeah he did. He was like,
all right, I will have my several seats.
Speaker 1 (01:51:55):
I'm a couch, thank you. But she did a Laura
jumps she. I mean, I love when Laura gets feisty,
like like she had the stuff with's like you know right, yeah,
but she had the stuff with geinst cyrus. But she
would go off on him.
Speaker 4 (01:52:08):
Oh yeah, it was so was so good.
Speaker 1 (01:52:10):
You know, he was scared sometimes like he was should jump,
but she was. She stood up jumping though I didn't care.
But yeah, the Laura jumps in when she has to
h and answer boil, she gets in there. But but Lisel,
she laid down that lall like, okay, here's here's the deal, bitch,
and she put it all out you you will respect
their parenting choices and Liesel, she calmed down.
Speaker 4 (01:52:34):
Yeah, you know, it's it's like that's what's great about
the way they rate Laura. It's like, you know, she
takes all that life experience and you know she will
be empathetic towards others, but she's still not gonna let
you walk all over her family, right.
Speaker 1 (01:52:48):
And star Gee, I don't know who you're saying, Hi, Jason,
she is crazy. Why I've seen this? Are we talking
about Liesel or Willow? Same family? But I would say
with Liesel people talk about her. Of course she sees
it this way. They've explained it. It's her closest thing
to Britta. It's like and and Laura was like, I
understand that, and Anna too, like we understand that. Whenever
(01:53:11):
she said that, they get it. They know what that's like.
They get it. So but you still going too far.
You'd get a little too hyped, bitch. You calm down.
So that's why, And that's when I have to jump
in and I like that. Lisa was like, you know what,
I should calm down, and I will kind of, you know.
And Anna see, Anna has an extra layer because she
knows Print's alive.
Speaker 2 (01:53:32):
Well.
Speaker 1 (01:53:32):
She kept saying, when once you do this, and I'm like, yeah,
because you know he's seen a live that's why you're
saying this stuff to her. And you know She's like
when we came back to Port Charles, So that's so
to me, that's just that's it's an extra, an extra
added layer. Oh of that, I thought, that's like, okay.
Speaker 4 (01:53:51):
I like that. I like it a lot scenes that
I wish I wish we were going to get, but
I'm sure we aren't. Is I would love some like
Anna and Geo scenes because what I love about like
those younger generations when they make those kind of more
adult relationships, like like Trina and Ava. You know somebody
that you know, you feel a closest connection to, even
(01:54:14):
though you aren't family, but there's somebody that you know
they can go to for advice or confident. I enjoy
when they builds those relationships between younger and older characters.
And you know, you know, we keep hearing about Ava,
like Anna and Emma and Geo all living together. I
would hope that that would have got us some Anna
Geo scenes to build that. But yeah, we'll forget that.
Speaker 1 (01:54:37):
Oh of course, not the combliniting called Anna on the
No Pen's Ballacy. The actually play Scout is twelve. Okay,
but then there you go kids that says they claim,
they claim that she is twelve. Allegedly she's twelve years old.
I was yet birthday, yet I know that some kids
are short or whatever. I'm just like, I don't know.
(01:55:00):
I mean, they don't, they're not they're not treated not
treating her like a twelve year old to me, I'm sorry.
I've had twelve year old. I've had two twelve year
old girls in my life, three my granddaughter, my two daughters.
I don't know. It just seems I don't know, I
don't she seems younger than that's me.
Speaker 4 (01:55:14):
So yeah, you're saying, I mean admittedly, I mean, I
guess this works for the storylines benefit, like we haven't
seen Scout hardly at all, which was also explained why
everybody else is like, yeah, where the hell is Scout?
Speaker 1 (01:55:27):
Yeah? Like were we said, except one? And they're bringing
her up now, So it's kids. I know, the kids
have a whole different work schedule. We know that, and
now school's back then, so I know it's kind of
like it's all different. But yeah, I'm sorry. Dogs we
named Scout, however, which that about Sexast City Dotty Scout?
They and the Steve names his bar Scout. It's the
whole thing, So, yes, that's.
Speaker 4 (01:55:50):
You.
Speaker 1 (01:55:50):
Ever mentioned Michael knowing about Daisy this week or the last,
I don't know what was about? What about Daisy.
Speaker 4 (01:55:56):
Well, I mean, you know where Michael and Dante were
talking and we're like, oh, I can look about Smothy
of the cameras on that date leading up to the
Quartermator State and then if we saw Willow on those cameras,
that can help solidify that she could have been the
wood sticking into the quarterback grounds.
Speaker 1 (01:56:12):
Okay, now we mentioned it, Okay, I don't. I mean,
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (01:56:14):
I don't when to go with this, yeah, I mean
until we actually get something, you know. Yeah, I don't know.
It was like just talking about doing something. See so
do much for me?
Speaker 1 (01:56:25):
Yeah? Same here? So Okay, now we mentioned it, but
I don't. I don't three years, don't. There's no moving
on that either. So I don't know what that means either.
I want action action. I want to him. I got
so much to him. I want to take here of it.
It's a little disco for you. All the rights, that's
all I can sing to you right now. I have
the rights to.
Speaker 2 (01:56:49):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:56:49):
Lizel said to me that she will step back for now. Okay,
I don't know. I just I don't know. I just
it's I don't know. I don't know charlotte'son is in
Mothball somewhere. I know. I'm like, I don't. Yeah, yeah,
they're showing Rocco, they're showing other folks.
Speaker 4 (01:57:10):
It was it was so important to get Charlotte back
right seeing anything.
Speaker 1 (01:57:15):
We haven't seen Avery in a while either. Yeah, for gravery.
Oh no, the whole thing about that. Where where are
you know? So, I mean that's yeah, we're well in
the show. You guys get two hours or show. We
gave you Carlo Rota and his wife. Well, what do
(01:57:35):
you want from us? Yeah, yes, thank you for Carlos
and so folks will be back next week with like
I said, two legends coming on. Well, a good time
doing that next week. So we'll be here, all three
shows be here next week. So we're doing that and
then we'll take a break for Labor Day weekend, taking
a break. Michael notes, Will did it we actually a maya.
(01:58:00):
We did mention that last week. We didn't mention this time.
We did mention that last week. Did talk about last week.
It's an important part of the story. Michael knows Bilow
did it. Well, we kind of we talked about that
last week.
Speaker 4 (01:58:10):
Actually that yeah, yeah, Now it's just all about is
their proof is evidence because it's like.
Speaker 1 (01:58:17):
Yeah, so we yeah, we yeah, Okay again, Okay, so
now we mentioned it again. There you go, kids. I
don't want people do this to me all the time.
We'll be back next week, show James. And they care
about it. I know, I know they feel it's very important.
I only tell you guys something. I'm just gonna tell
you guys something. Oh, this show is not a strict recap.
(01:58:41):
It's gonna tell you that if we miss something, we
miss it and we'll talk about it. Don't talk about it.
It's not a strict recap. It's a reaction to storylines
that we want to talk about that's on the show.
So anybody be times we miss something and I'll talk
about it in detail. There's reasons for that. If you
want strict weecaps, go to sheos soaps dot com. So
now we'renetwork dot com. Get you straight up recaps for us.
Speaker 2 (01:59:03):
We're here.
Speaker 1 (01:59:03):
We're here to bring you guys together, have some great talks,
some laughs, bring you some guests. Then just talk about
some of the storylines that go. I mean, I don't
I don't care for every storyline, so I don't we don't.
I don't have to talk about ever restory line. So
that's what we've been there for ten years. That's what
we do. But we want to strict recaps. We're not
about the show for you, but we will talk about
some stuff and most of the stuff, but there's times
we may you know whatever. So that's like you want
(01:59:26):
to just to know that. But we love doing the
show for you and again ten years running. We hat
touch our ten year anniversary next month, so we were
doing something Frank, I guess and.
Speaker 4 (01:59:37):
That's been talking about GH.
Speaker 1 (01:59:39):
Yes, gh GH. So I know, I'm just saying I know,
I know, but I'm just leting you know. I'm just
let you know this, this, this, this, I'm just letting
you know what we're coming from. So that what we
were Likeah, that's that's what we talk about. There's shuld
people I don't mention their names on the show, and
it's all you know. There are other choices, of course,
some GH podcast you can always find them. They do
things differently too. But I'm also planning another I forgot
(02:00:04):
a couple of hosts from my Soap Roundtable. There'll be
another edition coming up this week with the hosts from
Queers and Soaps and from sixty six Harbor View Road.
I'm working on the night which is going to be
stay tuned for that. And I'm like, oh, were I missed?
I missed. There's so many soap hosts out there, it's amazing.
Speaker 2 (02:00:23):
It's great.
Speaker 1 (02:00:24):
So I got so one more is coming out of
the last of that last round, so stay tuned for that.
I'll be live either either Tuesday or Wednesday night, not
sure yet, and I guess tomorrow night it's me Kennie
Mack and Emily Mayheller talking about the travesty that was
and just like that when we're talking about the Oh,
(02:00:46):
it's horrible. Oh it's literally and I say this, excuse
my words, it's literally shitty. That was one of the storylines.
Speaker 4 (02:00:54):
I read a recap of that episode and boy, it
sounded rough. Again, imagine watching it.
Speaker 1 (02:01:01):
I could imagine watching either kids, I get it. I did,
so I'm let you guys know, we're gonna talk about
it tomorrow night at seven pm a Pacific tenth Eastern.
You wanna hang out with us for a couple hours
as we tear it to shreds.
Speaker 4 (02:01:18):
Is better?
Speaker 1 (02:01:19):
Yeah, Oh my god, it's justice for Steve, justice for Aiden,
justice for Samantha, whoever I know, just I just the
whole thing, just whatever. That's tomorrow night, folks. Again, have
a great week, and just like that, we're over.
