Food, Change, Limiting Beliefs, Are You Stuck? The food we consume plays a crucial role in our overall health and well-being. A balanced and nutritious diet provides essential nutrients that support physical and mental functions. A diet rich in whole foods, including fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, whole grains, and healthy fats, can contribute to better energy levels, mood, and overall health. Changing Habits: Changing dietary habits involves making intentional adjustments to the way you eat. This might include reducing consumption of processed foods, sugary beverages, and unhealthy fats, while increasing your intake of nutrient-dense foods. Gradual changes tend to be more sustainable, and it's important to set realistic goals and monitor progress. Limiting Beliefs: Limiting beliefs are negative thoughts or beliefs that hold you back from achieving your goals. In the context of food and nutrition, limiting beliefs can include thoughts like "I can't control my eating habits," "I'm not capable of cooking healthy meals," or "Healthy foods are too expensive." These beliefs can hinder your ability to make positive changes. We address these and give suggestions.

Meg has been working as a Registered Dietitian for 15 + years. She has a diverse nutrition background in a variety of areas including: Eating Disorders, Weight Loss, Cardiac Disease, Gastrointestinal Disorders, Food Intolerances/Allergies and Diabetes. Meg earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at Saint Joseph University in West Hartford, CT.
